5. 0:07place we had Hail Caesar get out was
6. 0:10kind of interesting but those are the
7. 0:12exceptions most of the movies were
8. 0:14horrendous
9. 0:15so you finally see a movie that looks
10. 0:17pretty good and then it gets canceled
11. 0:19this is the problem with canceled
12. 0:20culture this is the problem which is
13. 0:2499.9% a leftist problem but occasionally
14. 0:26conservatives get involved too which is
15. 0:28we don't like you we're gonna shut you
16. 0:29down we're gonna shut you up or we think
17. 0:31we don't like you so we're gonna shut
18. 0:32you down and shut you up bad idea just
19. 0:36let it out it's okay that they'll make a
20. 0:38movie if Hollywood wants to make a bad
21. 0:39stupid liberal movie people aren't gonna
22. 0:41go see it Hollywood wants to make what
23. 0:43seems like a fairly conservative movie I
24. 0:45bet people would have gone to go see it
25. 0:46but you don't have to go see it if you
26. 0:48don't want to now it's not just this
27. 0:53movie it's not just the hunt
28. 0:54unfortunately - this is a tough day I'm
29. 0:56having almost as bad a day as Jeffrey
30. 0:58Epstein - because not only do I have to
31. 1:00defend Hollywood I have to defend Sarah
32. 1:02Silverman one of my least favorite
33. 1:03comedians if you can even call her a
34. 1:05comedian but she apparently she was
35. 1:08relating the son of podcast Sarah
36. 1:10Silverman apparently just got fired from
37. 1:12a movie because on her own unfunny TV
38. 1:15show
39. 1:15she wore blackface one time I don't
40. 1:18watch your show I didn't watch the
41. 1:20episode I don't know the context of the
42. 1:21blackface but I assume she wasn't
43. 1:24wearing it just to make fun of black
44. 1:26people I don't think she was going out
45. 1:27there I don't know that she was singing
46. 1:28Al Jolson songs or something assume she
47. 1:31was doing it for a comedic point to make
48. 1:32some kind of point and yes she was fired
49. 1:34from a movie for it so my question is as
50. 1:37Jimmy Kimmel been fired yet from his
51. 1:39show Jimmy Kimmel wore blackface on the
52. 1:41man show has Ted Danson been fired from
53. 1:45his incredibly good and successful
54. 1:47career in Hollywood yet Ted Danson wore
55. 1:49black face one time to make a point
56. 1:51about Robert Downey jr. he wore black
57. 1:52face in that movie Tropic Thunder
58. 1:55how about Julianne Howe I don't even
59. 1:58know who that is but she's apparently a
60. 1:59Hollywood person she wore blackface
61. 2:01about Fred Armisen from Portlandia and
62. 2:04SNL he wore blackface on SNL how about
63. 2:06Gigi Hadid how about the governor of
64. 2:07Virginia Ralph Northam who either wore
65. 2:10blackface or a KKK hood probably the
66. 2:12latter but he
67. 2:13and cop to either of them who was just
68. 2:14on his medical school yearbook page why
69. 2:17are we firing one person for this when
70. 2:19we're not firing other people doesn't
71. 2:24make a lot of sense also we are we
72. 2:25really gonna take away someone's career
73. 2:27because they wear black face I get I
74. 2:30guess if you're gonna do that though if
75. 2:31that's the new rule then you got to
76. 2:35apply it to everyone and are we gonna
77. 2:37take away the Wayans brothers careers
78. 2:39because they were white face in that
79. 2:40movie white white girls or white chicks
80. 2:42remember that movie it was two black
81. 2:44guys who put on white face and blonde
82. 2:47wigs and they pretended to be white
83. 2:48girls so you're allowed to do that but
84. 2:51you're not allowed to wear black face or
85. 2:53I guess you're allowed to wear black
86. 2:54face it for virtually every liberal
87. 2:56elite in Hollywood except for Sarah
88. 2:57Silverman
89. 2:58I hate defending Sarah Silverman but I
90. 3:00have to do it because it's just not
91. 3:02applied fairly there's no logic to this
92. 3:06cancel culture there's no logic to these
93. 3:09new speech codes there's no logic to
94. 3:11political correctness it isn't a logical
95. 3:15ideology political correctness is a
96. 3:18cudgel that's all it is it's just a tool
97. 3:21it's just a hammer used to smack down
98. 3:24your opponents which is why it only
99. 3:26happens to some people and not others
100. 3:27you know megyn kelly for goodness sakes
101. 3:29she was on that show it and on NBC and
102. 3:32she suggested that wearing blackface
103. 3:35isn't the worst possible crime
104. 3:37especially let's say if you go out and
105. 3:39go as Diana Ross let's say for Halloween
106. 3:41and you darken your skin a little bit to
107. 3:43look more like Diana Ross maybe that's
108. 3:45not the end of the world maybe you
109. 3:46shouldn't get fired for that and she
110. 3:48lost her show for that even though other
111. 3:50people on the same network have worn
112. 3:53blackface multiple times but nothing
113. 3:56happens to them now why did they go
114. 3:58after Megan did they go after Megan
115. 4:00because of her comments about blackface
116. 4:02absolutely not they went after Megan
117. 4:04because they don't like her politics
118. 4:05because they're not exceedingly
119. 4:07left-wing and they went after her
120. 4:08because they didn't like her show so
121. 4:10they were looking for an excuse to get
122. 4:12rid of her show and they used that
123. 4:14political correct excuse as a way to do
124. 4:18it but it wasn't about principles it
125. 4:20wasn't about values it wasn't about
126. 4:21logic nothing and that is always the way
