  1. 0:00Hello everyone, welcome to a new video.
  2. 0:03On this occasion, in today's video,
  3. 0:06what I’d really like to talk about is
  4. 0:09a slightly different topic, related to
  5. 0:12imports. As I always say, importing
  6. 0:15isn't a business in itself, but rather
  7. 0:18a way, a path to acquire a product and
  8. 0:20get a better price, increase margins,
  9. 0:23or start businesses that, even in our
  10. 0:25own country, wouldn't be possible
  11. 0:27because there’s no strong national
  12. 0:30production to favor us. So, in this
  13. 0:35video, which is a bit atypical for the
  14. 0:37channel, we are going to look at market
  15. 0:39research. It’s something I get asked
  16. 0:42about very frequently. In fact, I see
  17. 0:45many people joining our consulting
  18. 0:47program without having a product, not
  19. 0:49saying, "Well, I have a product, so
  20. 0:52great, I'll go to Nahwe and leverage a
  21. 0:54bit of his help to be able to import it
  22. 0:57." Many people arrive without having a
  23. 1:00product. So, the idea of this YouTube
  24. 1:04video, even though market research is
  25. 1:07something broad, complex, and
  26. 1:09time-consuming that we can't explain in
  27. 1:12the depth we usually do in a single
  28. 1:14video, is that I want to show you the
  29. 1:17easiest, simplest way for you to
  30. 1:19research markets, look at products,
  31. 1:22define a product, and only then, move
  32. 1:24on to importing; along with seeing the
  33. 1:27conditions a product should meet. A
  34. 1:31product to be considered a good one to
  35. 1:33sell in any Latin American country,
  36. 1:36because this video is going to be more
  37. 1:38specific to all of Latin America.
  38. 1:41Although I focus on Argentina, it can
  39. 1:43mostly be used throughout all of Latin
  40. 1:45America. The idea is for you to walk
  41. 1:48away with a product, following the
  42. 1:50method and conditions I’m going to
  43. 1:52explain, leaving with a product ready
  44. 1:54and saying, "This product has a high
  45. 1:57probability of selling in my country
  46. 1:59and I could potentially import it." So
  47. 2:02let’s get to it. And also to clarify,
  48. 2:05by the way, that it’s possible the
  49. 2:07product you research with the method
  50. 2:09I’m about to explain is already in
  51. 2:11your country; so you can also leverage
  52. 2:13that a bit and, even sell a product
  53. 2:15that is already in your country and,
  54. 2:16well, get a large number of sales
  55. 2:18without even resorting to importing. So
  56. 2:21it’s an excellent method, I highly
  57. 2:23recommend it. And well, let’s head to
  58. 2:26the computer so we can see the method
  59. 2:28in more detail. Alright, we’re at the
  60. 2:30computer now. I'm going to give a brief
  61. 2:34introduction, mostly in case you don't
  62. 2:36know me, if you're new to the channel;
  63. 2:38if you already know me, well, you
  64. 2:40probably know because I usually tell a
  65. 2:42bit of my backstory. My name is
  66. 2:45basically Nawel, and I’ve been
  67. 2:47dedicated to imports and brand creation
  68. 2:49for over 6 years. I always like to
  69. 2:53focus not on just selling products for
  70. 2:55the sake of it, but on focusing on
  71. 2:57creating a long-term brand that lasts
  72. 2:59over time and, tomorrow, remains as an
  73. 3:01asset or can be sold. In fact, I added
  74. 3:05some photos here from my latest trips
  75. 3:07to China with different suppliers, and
  76. 3:10well, I’m not only into imports, but
  77. 3:12I'm a huge fan of building long-term
  78. 3:15brands, financial analysis, and
  79. 3:17distribution channels. I don't like
  80. 3:21just sticking to running Facebook ads
  81. 3:24and selling as much as I can simply
  82. 3:26with disruptive marketing; instead, I
  83. 3:28like to set up wholesale distribution
  84. 3:31channels, I like to take advantage of
  85. 3:33all available marketplaces within the
  86. 3:35country in question, and why not? Go
  87. 3:39international as well. Right, I
  88. 3:44understand that these days, nobody does
  89. 3:46things the right way; people only think
  90. 3:48about money and not about the long term
  91. 3:50. Yes, I see this every day, not only
  92. 3:54with the people I talk to, but I also
  93. 3:56see it within my consulting program.
  94. 4:01It's very common to come across people
  95. 4:03today who just want to run ads, focus
  96. 4:05on a single product, and try to make
  97. 4:07the most money possible. without
  98. 4:09worrying about the customer. My
  99. 4:12specific company policy and brand
  100. 4:14creation philosophy is based on
  101. 4:16providing value to the audience. The
  102. 4:18audience is fundamental. These are
  103. 4:20people who buy from you today, but the
  104. 4:21idea is that they buy from you tomorrow
  105. 4:23as well. Setting up nationwide
  106. 4:25wholesale distribution channels, taking
  107. 4:28advantage of all available retail
  108. 4:30channels, whether it's Mercado Libre or
  109. 4:32physical stores, and placing a lot of
  110. 4:34emphasis on repeat purchases. Yes. I
  111. 4:38mean, a person who has already bought
  112. 4:39from us, if they were satisfied with
  113. 4:41the service, they will buy from us
  114. 4:42again. So, we have to take advantage of
  115. 4:44that. That is future growth; it's
  116. 4:46thinking about the future. So, in this
  117. 4:48video, we are basically going to talk
  118. 4:50about market research, something people
  119. 4:53have been asking me about for a long
  120. 4:55time, as I mentioned in the
  121. 4:56introduction. So, there are different
  122. 4:59types of research. We have internal
  123. 5:04leverage, external leverage, innovation
  124. 5:07in daily use, and leverage based on
  125. 5:10needs. Yes, in this video we are going
  126. 5:14to talk only about external leveraging.
  127. 5:17Within each type or method of market
  128. 5:20research, there are different tools to
  129. 5:22make it effective. I am now going to
  130. 5:26focus mainly on external leveraging
  131. 5:28because it is the simplest way for
  132. 5:30someone who wants to start importing to
  133. 5:32get fast results. Right? So we are
  134. 5:36going to rely on external leveraging
  135. 5:38and use one of my favorite tools to do
  136. 5:41that. There are many tools. In the
  137. 5:44consulting program, we show several and
  138. 5:47teach how to use them, but this is the
  139. 5:50one that works best and provides the
  140. 5:53most positive results. So, basically,
  141. 5:57external leveraging. What do we mean by
  142. 6:00that? We are going to leverage
  143. 6:03information available abroad to
  144. 6:05discover market opportunities, or
  145. 6:07better known as gaps, within our
  146. 6:10country. What is a gap? Basically, if
  147. 6:13we are in Latin America, we are in a
  148. 6:16country where things logically arrive
  149. 6:19more slowly. So, why not take advantage
  150. 6:22of much more developed or advanced
  151. 6:25countries, leverage a bit of
  152. 6:27information on what they are selling
  153. 6:29there, and try to implement it in
  154. 6:31Argentina? So, as you can imagine, to
  155. 6:36do this, we absolutely need a tool that
  156. 6:38gives us information from these
  157. 6:40countries. Well, this is the simplest
  158. 6:44way to find products that will boost
  159. 6:47our sales. And how are we going to do
  160. 6:49it? Exactly with a special tool that I
  161. 6:51am going to teach you precisely how to
  162. 6:54use. I use it all the time and it is
  163. 6:57one of the great tools I utilize to
  164. 7:00find new market opportunities, look for
  165. 7:02new products to bring into the country
  166. 7:05and sell. And also, why not, find
  167. 7:08products that are in Argentina but are
  168. 7:10not getting the attention or importance
  169. 7:12they really deserve. Well, first let's
  170. 7:17define what conditions a product must
  171. 7:19meet to be considered an external
  172. 7:22leveraging item. Right, sales
  173. 7:26maximization conditions. This must be
  174. 7:30met, these conditions must be fulfilled
  175. 7:33, and by sales maximization, I mean
  176. 7:35that we can really achieve the maximum
  177. 7:38number of sales with that product.
  178. 7:40Right? Let's see so you understand a
  179. 7:43little better what these conditions are
  180. 7:44. Preferably, the product should not be
  181. 7:47in your country. We can use tools like
  182. 7:50Mercado Libre or Amazon. Basically, now
  183. 7:53when we look for a product and find it,
  184. 7:55we are going to verify that the product
  185. 7:57is not already being sold on Mercado
  186. 8:00Libre or Amazon, if you are in another
  187. 8:02country. Specifically in Argentina,
  188. 8:04Mercado Libre works very well. If the
  189. 8:07product is already being sold on
  190. 8:09Mercado Libre, we must ensure that its
  191. 8:11sales level is very, very low, very low
  192. 8:13. Or that there is only one seller, or
  193. 8:16if there are two or three sellers, that
  194. 8:18the sales volume is very low. Right.
  195. 8:21Next, number two, we have to think and
  196. 8:24reason if there is a market for it,
  197. 8:26that is, for the product itself. This
  198. 8:28is very important. How do we reason
  199. 8:31this out? Basically by asking ourselves
  200. 8:33the following questions. Do people in
  201. 8:35our country have the purchasing power
  202. 8:37to be able to buy that product? Can
  203. 8:40people afford the luxury of buying it?
  204. 8:43Is there a large market segment that
  205. 8:46could buy our product? For example,
  206. 8:51there is a very famous brand abroad
  207. 8:53that you probably know, which are
  208. 8:55desktop robots that you can interact
  209. 8:57with all the time and are emotional,
  210. 8:59right? You can pet them and they smile,
  211. 9:03they interact with the person using
  212. 9:06them. But what happens? For this type
  213. 9:09of robot, there is a huge market in the
  214. 9:11United States and there is also a
  215. 9:13market in Argentina. Yes, we cannot
  216. 9:15deny that there is a market in
  217. 9:17Argentina. In fact, it is a product
  218. 9:19that went very viral in a short period
  219. 9:22of time. But what happens within our
  220. 9:25market, within Argentina? People cannot
  221. 9:28afford the luxury of buying it because
  222. 9:30it is not a basic necessity product,
  223. 9:32something one would say: "I need this
  224. 9:33for my life." Added to that, the
  225. 9:37purchasing power isn't enough for
  226. 9:38people to buy a product that you might
  227. 9:40have to sell for $ 300. So, that is the
  228. 9:44reasoning we have to do. Right. If it
  229. 9:48is a product that can be sold with
  230. 9:50others as an accompaniment, even better
  231. 9:52. The idea is to create a long-term
  232. 9:55brand. If we sell a product that is
  233. 9:58just the product, but we don't have
  234. 10:00other products to accompany it, what
  235. 10:02will happen? It will be very
  236. 10:04complicated to keep the customer in the
  237. 10:07long term. If we sell a product and
  238. 10:10have no way to later sell to that same
  239. 10:13customer again, it is no use for
  240. 10:15building something long-term, which is
  241. 10:18precisely the idea of what we teach and
  242. 10:20try to implement day by day with our
  243. 10:23own businesses. So, this is fundamental
  244. 10:27, added to the fact that we are going
  245. 10:30to look for that product we are going
  246. 10:32to sell to be sold along with other
  247. 10:34products at the same time, so that when
  248. 10:36people buy from us, they don't just buy
  249. 10:38that one product, but take other
  250. 10:40products as well, whether they are
  251. 10:42accessories or other types of
  252. 10:44complementary products, or we can make
  253. 10:46an offer or gift bundles. And then,
  254. 10:51what we are looking for is a high sales
  255. 10:53volume abroad. If we know we are
  256. 10:57researching products in the United
  257. 10:59States to sell in our country, in Latin
  258. 11:01America, and we see that in the United
  259. 11:03States, being a country with so many
  260. 11:05inhabitants, there is such a low sales
  261. 11:07volume for that product, it will
  262. 11:09logically be complicated for it to sell
  263. 11:12in Argentina, in Latin America, right?
  264. 11:15Okay, next we have the financial
  265. 11:18conditions. First financial condition:
  266. 11:22the purchase price has to be as low as
  267. 11:24possible. When we go to research that
  268. 11:27product in China, or whether we find it
  269. 11:30in our local market and want to sell it
  270. 11:32, we have to ensure the product has the
  271. 11:35lowest price possible and that the
  272. 11:37perceived value—that is, if I look at
  273. 11:39the product without knowing the price
  274. 11:41I'm buying it for—is also as high as
  275. 11:44possible. Okay, this is very common. An
  276. 11:48example of this is jewelry. Jewelry in
  277. 11:51China can be obtained very cheaply, but
  278. 11:53the perceived value is very high. You
  279. 11:56can sell it at a very high price. The
  280. 11:58perceived value it has is high. The
  281. 12:01second question we can ask ourselves is
  282. 12:03: can a long-term distribution channel
  283. 12:05be built for that product? Can we build
  284. 12:08a wholesale distribution chain in our
  285. 12:11country for that product? For example,
  286. 12:14jewelry can easily be distributed
  287. 12:15throughout the entire country. You can
  288. 12:17be a jewelry wholesaler. So, if there
  289. 12:20is a market, makeup or a line of makeup
  290. 12:23could also be an option. So, we have to
  291. 12:26evaluate this. Precisely an impulse buy
  292. 12:29, as they call it in Argentina, a
  293. 12:32simple gadget. Imagine that you can
  294. 12:35sell it as a hot item, you can sell it
  295. 12:37quickly, but you cannot build a
  296. 12:39distribution channel for just a gadget
  297. 12:41or something or an accessory. Right?
  298. 12:44And then we have the import condition,
  299. 12:47which obviously any product can be
  300. 12:49imported, but we have, I mean, ideally
  301. 12:52we have to meet these conditions. The
  302. 12:55first is that the lighter and smaller
  303. 12:56it is, the better. This opens the doors
  304. 12:58to importing it by air more quickly. If
  305. 13:02you want to know more about this, I
  306. 13:04have videos talking specifically about
  307. 13:05the air shipping method, so I advise
  308. 13:07you to go and watch them. And the other
  309. 13:11one not written here is precisely the
  310. 13:13non-intervention criterion, which I
  311. 13:14also explain in other videos. Basically
  312. 13:18, it's about ensuring that the consumer
  313. 13:20who is going to buy that product from
  314. 13:22us is not at any risk when using it.
  315. 13:25For what reason? Basically, first for
  316. 13:28consumer safety, and secondly, those
  317. 13:30types of products have interventions
  318. 13:32and are more complicated to import. So,
  319. 13:36right, now that we know the basic
  320. 13:37conditions, let's go to the tool. The
  321. 13:40tool is called Winning Hunter and it is
  322. 13:42a tool based on advertiser statistics
  323. 13:45and sales volume. What we are going to
  324. 13:48do is leverage the information
  325. 13:51available on the Facebook and Instagram
  326. 13:53platforms and review a bit of what
  327. 13:56advertisers are doing in the United
  328. 13:58States, Australia, and Canada. We can
  329. 14:01evaluate a lot of countries. Obviously,
  330. 14:04we aren't going to look at what
  331. 14:06advertisers are doing ourselves or
  332. 14:08search for advertisers; that would be a
  333. 14:10huge problem and a huge job. So, we are
  334. 14:13going to use a tool called Winning
  335. 14:15Hunter, which is written here. We are
  336. 14:18going to learn how to use it. Let's go
  337. 14:20to the tool. We are already on the
  338. 14:22Winning Hunter dashboard and we are
  339. 14:24going to understand a bit about how the
  340. 14:27tool works. Basically, it is important
  341. 14:30to highlight that what this tool does
  342. 14:32is collect information from many
  343. 14:34advertisers who are running ads on the
  344. 14:37Facebook Ads platform and Instagram as
  345. 14:39well, of course. And we are going to
  346. 14:42set different filters. We are going to
  347. 14:44understand how each filter works. The
  348. 14:46first thing we are going to do is
  349. 14:47choose the country. Here we will choose
  350. 14:50a country, preferably one we know has
  351. 14:52high sales volume and is more advanced
  352. 14:54than our own. This way, we can extract
  353. 14:57some information on what is working in
  354. 14:58that country. For example, we are going
  355. 15:00to choose the United States. Under
  356. 15:02website, what we are going to do is
  357. 15:04choose Shopify. Why are we going to use
  358. 15:06Shopify? Basically because Shopify is
  359. 15:08the e-commerce platform for brands most
  360. 15:11used in the United States. So, here we
  361. 15:15always choose Shopify so that the tool
  362. 15:17understands that we want to search for
  363. 15:20advertisers who are running ads and
  364. 15:23taking the people who see the ads to
  365. 15:26Shopify, to a page made with Shopify.
  366. 15:29For the language, we are going to
  367. 15:31choose the native language of the
  368. 15:33country we are evaluating, in this case
  369. 15:35, English, because we are looking at
  370. 15:36the United States. Here in Active sets,
  371. 15:40you will put 30. You will ask me, "Naw,
  372. 15:44what is an ad set?" Why are we using
  373. 15:46this filter? Basically, ad sets mean,
  374. 15:50loosely speaking, the number of ads an
  375. 15:53advertiser is running on the platform
  376. 15:55for the same product. Yes, the
  377. 15:59explanation is actually a bit more
  378. 16:01complex, we'll leave that for another
  379. 16:02video that deals more with ads, okay?
  380. 16:06But basically, the more ad sets an
  381. 16:08advertiser has, the more it signifies
  382. 16:10they are investing more money in
  383. 16:12advertising for that product. So,
  384. 16:16we’ll put 30 here. Then here, notice
  385. 16:20that in sort, we can choose different
  386. 16:22options. I’m going to choose found
  387. 16:25date, which basically would be the date
  388. 16:27it was placed, or rather, let's say,
  389. 16:29when they found that ad. Yes, the last
  390. 16:32time that ad was seen. So, basically,
  391. 16:35by filtering this way, the first ads
  392. 16:38that will appear for us are the newest
  393. 16:42ones possible. Here we can also choose
  394. 16:46others, for example, winners, which
  395. 16:48means these winners would be ads that
  396. 16:50have been running for a long time
  397. 16:52consistently. If we want, we can choose
  398. 16:56trending, which basically would be ads
  399. 16:59that have been getting a lot of
  400. 17:01interaction lately, but we are going to
  401. 17:05choose found date. Then here we can
  402. 17:07also choose if they are scaling them or
  403. 17:10not. I mean, if we set it to only bring
  404. 17:13us upscaling only, those would be ads
  405. 17:15that are investing more money in
  406. 17:18advertising. We’ll leave it as
  407. 17:20default. Under Media Type, we can
  408. 17:23choose the ad format, videos, images.
  409. 17:25I’m going to set it to videos. You
  410. 17:27can try it out. Generally, when we look
  411. 17:29for textile products like clothing,
  412. 17:31images are usually used more. So we
  413. 17:33could even leave it blank and let it
  414. 17:35bring us everything. I’m simply going
  415. 17:37to leave it on video. For this one, we
  416. 17:39don’t choose anything. And here in
  417. 17:40niche, nothing either. Then in Ad
  418. 17:42Creation Date, we’ll choose the last
  419. 17:45two to three months. There we go. And
  420. 17:50with this, we’re all set. Here we are
  421. 17:52going to apply. What’s going to
  422. 17:53happen now? It will bring us a bunch of
  423. 17:56ads with the filters we chose, and we
  424. 17:59can make decisions based on the
  425. 18:01information we have. Now you’re going
  426. 18:04to tell me, "Well, okay, but tell me
  427. 18:06what information I need to look at here
  428. 18:09, because so far the tool seems a bit
  429. 18:11complex, but well, it’s just learning
  430. 18:14how to use it and moving forward with
  431. 18:16that." Let’s look at an example.
  432. 18:18Let’s see this specific product,
  433. 18:21which basically we’ll put on mute
  434. 18:23here. We can see, let’s fast forward
  435. 18:27a little. Look, you can see a person
  436. 18:30who forgets their phone on the train,
  437. 18:33on the subway, and what they do when
  438. 18:35they forget it is, using the same
  439. 18:38headphones they're wearing, they tap
  440. 18:40them and it automatically calls the
  441. 18:42phone. So it's a way to find the phone
  442. 18:46quickly, right? To communicate with the
  443. 18:49person who found it and be able to meet
  444. 18:50up with that person, right? We aren't
  445. 18:53going to evaluate this specific type of
  446. 18:55product because it's surely expensive
  447. 18:58and won't meet the requirements. We're
  448. 19:01going to evaluate other types of
  449. 19:02products as we find them, but what I
  450. 19:04want you to see is that this is in
  451. 19:05green. This is a good sign. Yes, it
  452. 19:09basically means the advertiser has been
  453. 19:12spending money on ads for quite some
  454. 19:14time. So it's a good sign. And the next
  455. 19:17thing we're going to look at is here,
  456. 19:19in "view details." We're going to check
  457. 19:22that this curve here is upward-trending
  458. 19:24. Take a look at what it says here. Ad
  459. 19:26set amount. It's telling us the number
  460. 19:29of ads this advertiser has been running
  461. 19:32over time. Notice that they started
  462. 19:35running a few and then started
  463. 19:37increasing the amount to 49, 28, 30.
  464. 19:40This means that in a short period of
  465. 19:42time, this advertiser increased their
  466. 19:45number of ads, meaning they are
  467. 19:46investing more money in advertising and
  468. 19:48trying to scale the product. That is a
  469. 19:51very good sign. Knowing this, what
  470. 19:54we'll do is scroll a bit and find some
  471. 19:56products that meet the requirements.
  472. 19:59Okay, perfect. After scrolling for
  473. 20:02about 10 minutes, we found some
  474. 20:04products, and I mainly marked them so
  475. 20:06you can see, let's say, the difference
  476. 20:08between a product that could actually
  477. 20:10sell and one that probably won't. For
  478. 20:14example, we have this product that
  479. 20:16meets the conditions I explained to you
  480. 20:18. Let's go to "view details." Notice
  481. 20:20that this shows up in green. Let's go
  482. 20:22to "view details." So, we see that the
  483. 20:25product has potential. But, what
  484. 20:27happens? We start looking at what the
  485. 20:31product actually is and we see it's
  486. 20:34some sort of chemical meant to polish
  487. 20:37or improve the condition of golf clubs.
  488. 20:42So, I position myself in the Argentine
  489. 20:44market and think, is there a market for
  490. 20:47this product? And the truth is, no. The
  491. 20:50number of people who play in Argentina
  492. 20:52—I'm not saying it's low, but it's a
  493. 20:53small market. This is a product more
  494. 20:55for selling in the United States. So, I
  495. 20:58have to be able to think if there is
  496. 21:00really a market for this product in the
  497. 21:02country where I live. If golf is a, is
  498. 21:07a sport that is played a lot in your
  499. 21:09country, well, it's a good condition to
  500. 21:11analyze it, but specifically not in
  501. 21:14Argentina. So, this would be a product
  502. 21:17that, even though it has a high sales
  503. 21:19volume in the United States, I wouldn't
  504. 21:22consider it. Also, since it is a
  505. 21:24chemical, it could potentially be
  506. 21:26dangerous for the consumer. So, it is
  507. 21:29most likely that to import this product
  508. 21:31, it would have some type of
  509. 21:32intervention. Now, if we go, for
  510. 21:35example, to this product, okay? Notice
  511. 21:38that this type of product is a watch.
  512. 21:41Even though it's in red here, I can see
  513. 21:44the details and I can see that there
  514. 21:46was a scaling. Right? I mean, notice
  515. 21:49that it went from one and went up to 59
  516. 21:52, 48. There was a scaling here. The
  517. 21:54advertiser invested more money in
  518. 21:57advertising. So, notice the following.
  519. 22:01This product is a small product, it's a
  520. 22:04light product, it's also a product that
  521. 22:07one can have many models of watches, so
  522. 22:09people can buy you more than one watch
  523. 22:12or buy from you again tomorrow. We see
  524. 22:17that they are scaling it, we see that
  525. 22:19probably, we'll see it in a little
  526. 22:21while, this product is cheap in China
  527. 22:23and we can sell it expensive because
  528. 22:25it's a piece of jewelry. Yes. So we see
  529. 22:29that the product begins to meet the
  530. 22:32conditions we want. So another thing we
  531. 22:35are going to do once we find one of
  532. 22:38these types of products, we are going
  533. 22:40to click here on Trackstore in this
  534. 22:42function and basically when we press
  535. 22:45this function it will take us to
  536. 22:47another tool within Winning Hunter. We
  537. 22:52go here to the link that appears
  538. 22:54automatically, we are going to delete
  539. 22:56and leave only the clean link and we
  540. 22:58are going to click on this button,
  541. 23:00start tracking. Once it finishes
  542. 23:02loading, the store in question will
  543. 23:04appear. Here what we are going to do is
  544. 23:07click on the store. Lola Rose is its
  545. 23:11name in this case. And here, look how
  546. 23:15interesting, the sales volume they are
  547. 23:17having will appear. Yes, look, October
  548. 23:208th, 13 orders, $ 1,600. Here they had
  549. 23:25a peak of 76 orders. Here they had a
  550. 23:28maximum peak of 172 orders, $ 21,000
  551. 23:31billed in one day. So, here we are
  552. 23:34verifying that this brand is doing
  553. 23:36quite well in the United States. The
  554. 23:38sales volume is high. So, what we're
  555. 23:42going to do now is open the store by
  556. 23:44clicking this button. We'll open it in
  557. 23:48a new tab. Here we can see the store.
  558. 23:53So, take a look at the following. Going
  559. 23:56back to the Word presentation I made,
  560. 23:59we can see that people have the
  561. 24:02purchasing power to buy it easily. A
  562. 24:06watch always sells, and even more so if
  563. 24:08we can offer a moderate price. Yes,
  564. 24:11people can afford the luxury of buying
  565. 24:14it. And well, this parameter here is a
  566. 24:16bit in doubt. Yes, the reality is that
  567. 24:19in a crisis, people aren't going to buy
  568. 24:22a watch. But well, it's also arbitrary,
  569. 24:25because one would think that clothing,
  570. 24:27for example, is a basic necessity; but
  571. 24:30if you sell relatively expensive
  572. 24:32clothing, people won't afford the
  573. 24:34luxury of buying it in times of crisis,
  574. 24:37and yet, we can show that they do buy
  575. 24:40it. There is a large market segment
  576. 24:43that could buy our product. Yes,
  577. 24:45exactly. It's a watch that is exclusive
  578. 24:47to women. Any woman could buy it. What
  579. 24:51we would have to evaluate is the age
  580. 24:52range, but regardless, there is a large
  581. 24:54market segment that can buy our product
  582. 24:56. It's a product that can be sold
  583. 25:00alongside other products, we already
  584. 25:02talked about that. It has a high sales
  585. 25:06volume abroad. We're talking about $
  586. 25:08260,000 in the last month. That amount
  587. 25:10billed is a high volume. Financial
  588. 25:13conditions. The purchase price must be
  589. 25:16as low as possible and the perceived
  590. 25:18value as high as possible as well. The
  591. 25:20perceived value is extremely high. Now
  592. 25:23we are going to check the purchase
  593. 25:25price on Alibaba or 1688, which is what
  594. 25:27I recommend the most. Import conditions
  595. 25:31. The lighter and smaller, the better.
  596. 25:33This opens the doors to import it by
  597. 25:35air more quickly, exactly. In other
  598. 25:38words, it's light and it's small, it
  599. 25:40can be imported by air. And also the
  600. 25:42second condition that isn't written
  601. 25:43here. it is also met because it's not a
  602. 25:46product that affects the consumer. So,
  603. 25:48it's unlikely to have any intervention.
  604. 25:51Okay, let's see how much a product like
  605. 25:53this costs us on Alibaba. We simply
  606. 25:57open the product in question. If I'm
  607. 26:00not mistaken, it was this one or one
  608. 26:01similar. Let's go instead to this one
  609. 26:04which is even more similar. And what we
  610. 26:07are going to do is, look, they are
  611. 26:08selling it for $ 19. Let's see how much
  612. 26:12we can get something for in China that
  613. 26:14is the same or similar. For that, we
  614. 26:18use the 1688 extension, the Ali Price
  615. 26:20shopping assistant. Remember that you
  616. 26:24can find this simply by searching
  617. 26:26Google for the Ali Price shopping
  618. 26:28assistant for 1688. We can then install
  619. 26:32the extension. Once we have it enabled,
  620. 26:36we just come here, right-click on the
  621. 26:38image in question, shopping assistant,
  622. 26:41search by image. Let's let the tool
  623. 26:46work and search for the product in
  624. 26:48China for us. And here products start
  625. 26:51to appear; if they aren't identical,
  626. 26:53they're similar, or rather, it's
  627. 26:55exactly the same one. And we can see
  628. 26:59the prices a bit, the price range, and
  629. 27:01obviously, this will heavily influence
  630. 27:03the quality. One of the problems this
  631. 27:05product has is that we need something
  632. 27:07of good quality. So, since we really
  633. 27:11see such a variety of prices and a
  634. 27:12difference in quality, we'll have extra
  635. 27:14work when we want to source this
  636. 27:16product in China with our trader to
  637. 27:18evaluate the qualities a bit. That is a
  638. 27:21big disadvantage of this product, but
  639. 27:23it does meet all the other conditions.
  640. 27:26We see, for example, here that there is
  641. 27:28one that is the same and it is $ This
  642. 27:31one is also the same, identical, and
  643. 27:33it's 26. Yes, we would have to evaluate
  644. 27:35a bit what the difference is. Yes, but
  645. 27:38we can also see that, for example, this
  646. 27:41seller, this 1688 listing has 102 sold
  647. 27:43in the last 30 days and the repurchase
  648. 27:46rate is 20%, meaning 30%of the people
  649. 27:48who buy the product come back to buy
  650. 27:51again. Then we have this seller as well
  651. 27:55, which is not the same product, but
  652. 27:57well, it's something similar and they
  653. 27:59are selling it at 5.23 and the
  654. 28:00repurchase rate is very high. It's a
  655. 28:02good option. Yes, for example, I
  656. 28:05wouldn't trust this one here, because a
  657. 28:08watch at 2.72 is very cheap, so I don't
  658. 28:10know if I would trust it that much.
  659. 28:14Here we have one at 1.12, it also has a
  660. 28:17high number of sales. I honestly don't
  661. 28:19know if I would trust the selling price
  662. 28:21that much. This would be a matter of
  663. 28:24sending the links to our trader.
  664. 28:26Remember that if you don't know what a
  665. 28:28trader is because you just met me, on
  666. 28:30my YouTube channel I have a bunch of
  667. 28:32videos explaining how a trader works,
  668. 28:34what they are for, how they facilitate
  669. 28:36things for us in China, and why I use a
  670. 28:38trader instead of buying directly
  671. 28:40through Alibaba. So, remember, let's
  672. 28:44take, for example, this model that is $
  673. 28:49open it, and we are going to look a
  674. 28:52little bit at the product images on
  675. 28:551688. We see that it is almost similar,
  676. 28:57yes, it is almost similar to the
  677. 28:59product in question. Look, it has the
  678. 29:02same, it is the same product, it is
  679. 29:05exactly the same. It's the same product
  680. 29:09. So, now that we have the product here
  681. 29:12, all that's left is to talk to our
  682. 29:14trader and say, "Please, get me a price
  683. 29:17." First, get me a better price. "And
  684. 29:20secondly, please verify the quality for
  685. 29:22me as well." Or ask for a sample, even
  686. 29:25if we want peace of mind, we can tell
  687. 29:27them, "Hey, please buy us a sample."
  688. 29:30Obviously, they will charge us for it,
  689. 29:32right? But we can request a sample and
  690. 29:34ask them to ship it to our country, or
  691. 29:36in that case, we can also ask them to
  692. 29:38send it to our freight forwarder and
  693. 29:40handle it with our own freight
  694. 29:42forwarder. Also, remember that a
  695. 29:45freight forwarder, if you want to know
  696. 29:47what that is, I have videos explaining
  697. 29:49it, and in our consulting service, we
  698. 29:52provide our own contact, our freight
  699. 29:54forwarder, who must be a person or a
  700. 29:56company that is highly trustworthy.
  701. 29:59That is important, guys. Good, now that
  702. 30:02we have found the product, it would
  703. 30:04simply be a matter of following the
  704. 30:06step of going to the trader and trying
  705. 30:08to obtain it to import it to our
  706. 30:09country. In the meantime, now that
  707. 30:12we've checked this, let's go back to
  708. 30:14the previous page. We go back to the
  709. 30:16previous page and we also have, for
  710. 30:18example, this product. Notice that it's
  711. 30:24a baby shoe. It's really great,
  712. 30:26honestly. I mean, it's a product that
  713. 30:28is easy to put on. It looks comfortable
  714. 30:32, it's ideal for kids to walk in. So,
  715. 30:36look, it also happens that it meets the
  716. 30:38conditions. This must be super
  717. 30:40lightweight, it shouldn't weigh almost
  718. 30:42anything. We can build a long-term
  719. 30:44brand, I mean, we can buy many models,
  720. 30:47different colors, and customers can
  721. 30:49choose us again. That's fine. Let's see
  722. 30:52, the baby niche isn't a niche with
  723. 30:54high purchase recurrence, right? I mean
  724. 30:56, it's only for the period when the
  725. 30:58baby is small, but we have new
  726. 31:00customers all the time, babies are born
  727. 31:02all the time, so we have business for a
  728. 31:04while. And if we can offer many models,
  729. 31:07it's most likely that when someone sees
  730. 31:09our advertisement and gets to know our
  731. 31:11brand, they will buy more than one
  732. 31:12model from us, right? so the baby can
  733. 31:16use different colors. If we can offer
  734. 31:20different qualities or new products
  735. 31:22within the same niche, they will
  736. 31:24probably buy from us too, and we can
  737. 31:26easily set up a distribution channel
  738. 31:28for this product, find many sellers
  739. 31:30within our own country, we can sell it
  740. 31:32in different markets, so it's a very
  741. 31:34good option. What can we do now? We can
  742. 31:39perform the assessment we've been doing
  743. 31:42, study the scaling a bit. Notice how
  744. 31:44they have been scaling it continuously.
  745. 31:47We can also evaluate the sales level a
  746. 31:49bit. We can do, uh, several things here
  747. 31:55, but, well, that is basically the
  748. 31:58procedure we have to follow
  749. 32:00continuously to find new products.
  750. 32:04That's how it is. Yes, this is one of
  751. 32:05the methods. There are other methods
  752. 32:07basically, as I explained at the
  753. 32:09beginning, but this is what we have to
  754. 32:11do. Once we verify that we meet all the
  755. 32:15conditions, what we are basically going
  756. 32:18to do is what we saw at the beginning:
  757. 32:21conduct a study through 1688, look at
  758. 32:24the prices and, with a certain average
  759. 32:27price and seeing that the ideal import
  760. 32:29conditions are met, we can contact our
  761. 32:32trusted trader. It is important to
  762. 32:36emphasize that the trader can buy
  763. 32:38samples and check the quality for you.
  764. 32:41Yes, or ask them to send them to you,
  765. 32:43buy different samples. I repeat, if you
  766. 32:46don't have a relationship with the
  767. 32:47trader, or you just met them, they will
  768. 32:49charge you for those samples. It is
  769. 32:51very important to highlight that. Also
  770. 32:55remember that if you need a trusted
  771. 32:57trader, you can count on ours in our
  772. 32:58consulting program. And basically I
  773. 33:02recommend you start by buying a small
  774. 33:04quantity until you validate the product
  775. 33:06at the beginning. If you are just
  776. 33:08starting out, you aren't going to go
  777. 33:10buy 1,000 units of this watch. You will
  778. 33:13place a small order of how much, and
  779. 33:15more or less you will try to spend
  780. 33:17about $ 300, $ 400 at first, simply to
  781. 33:20be able to validate the product. Yes,
  782. 33:23we explain and try to preach another
  783. 33:25way within e-commerce, which is
  784. 33:27basically with leverage, with
  785. 33:30validation even before placing the
  786. 33:32order. But hey, if you are directly
  787. 33:34here because you want to import a
  788. 33:36product, this is the way. Yes, you
  789. 33:39place a $ 300 order, take it to your
  790. 33:40country, set everything up, start
  791. 33:42selling it, see how it moves, and only
  792. 33:44then do you go out and make an even
  793. 33:46larger order. Alright guys, I hope you
  794. 33:51liked today's video. So, so well, this
  795. 33:54is the whole procedure with this tool,
  796. 33:56with Winning Hunter. And well, you were
  797. 34:00also able to see a bit of the
  798. 34:02conditions that we look at for this
  799. 34:05market research method, external
  800. 34:07leverage. Then there is internal
  801. 34:11leverage, innovation in daily use, and
  802. 34:13needs-based leverage, which we keep
  803. 34:16more limited for our e-commerce
  804. 34:18consulting. Surely later on we will
  805. 34:22make an occasional YouTube video,
  806. 34:23especially on needs-based leverage,
  807. 34:25which is the latest thing in the market
  808. 34:27and absolutely nobody is doing it, and
  809. 34:29there are great opportunities.
  810. 34:33Alright, guys, to wrap things up, there
  811. 34:36you have it; that is one of the
  812. 34:38processes we use to conduct market
  813. 34:40research. As I explained in the video,
  814. 34:44it's always about leveraging a bit of
  815. 34:46information from other countries that
  816. 34:48are usually a bit more advanced than
  817. 34:51Latin America, from which we can get
  818. 34:53great product ideas to sell. And we
  819. 34:56also saw, of course, how to do a little
  820. 34:58research in China to find the best
  821. 35:01possible price and, well, always
  822. 35:03stressing the importance of working
  823. 35:05with a trader. So, remember, if there's
  824. 35:09anything you didn't understand, whether
  825. 35:12it's the import process, a trader, or
  826. 35:14how to move a product we buy from China
  827. 35:17to your country in Latin America,
  828. 35:19remember I have a bunch of videos on my
  829. 35:22channel explaining the process from A
  830. 35:24to Z and talking specifically about
  831. 35:26topics as important for cost reduction
  832. 35:29as working with a trader or a freight
  833. 35:31forwarder. So, well, as always, I
  834. 35:35appreciate you all a lot. Remember that
  835. 35:38if you need more personalized,
  836. 35:40professional, hands-on help, or simply
  837. 35:43guidance, we have our e-commerce import
  838. 35:46program, so there is a link to my
  839. 35:49personal WhatsApp in the description;
  840. 35:51you can write to me there, and I'm at
  841. 35:54your disposal for whatever you need.
  842. 35:58Remember, any questions you have can
  843. 35:59also go in the comments. I try to
  844. 36:01answer as much as I can whenever I have
  845. 36:04the time. Sending you all a big hug and
  846. 36:06, as always, thank you very much.
