- 0:02professionals questioning these uh
- 0:05extremists and
- 0:07terrorists I have put this program in
- 0:10place for a
- 0:12reason and that is to better protect the
- 0:14American
- 0:15people and when we find somebody who may
- 0:18have
- 0:19information regarding an potential
- 0:21attack on America you bet we're going to
- 0:23detain
- 0:24them and you bet we're going to question
- 0:27them because the American people us to
- 0:30find out
- 0:32information uh actionable intelligence
- 0:34so we can help them help protect them
- 0:36that's our
- 0:37job no we got professionals who are
- 0:40trained in this uh uh kind of work to
- 0:44get information that'll protect the
- 0:45American people this government does not
- 0:48torture
- 0:49people you know we we we we we we stick
- 0:52to US law and our International
- 0:56obligations the techniques that we use
- 1:00have uh been fully disclosed to
- 1:03appropriate members of the United States
- 1:06Congress there are highly trained
- 1:08professionals questioning these uh
- 1:11extremists and
- 1:13terrorists now words we got
- 1:15professionals who are trained in this uh
- 1:17uh kind of work to get information
- 1:20that'll protect the American people and
- 1:21by the way we have gotten information
- 1:24from these high value detainees that
- 1:26have helped protect
- 1:28you and finally
- 1:30finally the techniques that we
- 1:33use have uh been fully disclosed to
- 1:37appropriate members of the United States
- 1:40Congress the American people expect
- 1:43their government to take action to
- 1:47protect them from further
- 1:48attack and that's exactly what this
- 1:50government is doing and that's exactly
- 1:53what we'll continue to do
