  1. 0:00my name is Sabrina Romanov and this is
  2. 0:01part one of my video series building SAS
  3. 0:04with AI where I'm going to walk through
  4. 0:06from start to finish building a SAS MVP
  5. 0:10here's the idea that I want to build out
  6. 0:13it's basically a AI powered remixing
  7. 0:16platform or repurposing platform for
  8. 0:18social media content so you'll be able
  9. 0:19to connect any social media Source such
  10. 0:22as Twitter Facebook YouTube you'll be
  11. 0:24able to upload kind of your personal
  12. 0:26knowledge base representing your brand
  13. 0:28voice product information services
  14. 0:30writing style things like that and then
  15. 0:32AI is used to filter the different
  16. 0:34things in your social media sources for
  17. 0:37quality and relevant posts so things
  18. 0:39that your audience would probably like
  19. 0:41to see and then AI helps you repurpose
  20. 0:43the content using your brain or personal
  21. 0:47knowledge base or brand I haven't
  22. 0:48figured out the right term to represent
  23. 0:50all that but the point is to add your
  24. 0:52unique point of view add your
  25. 0:53contribution and value and then you can
  26. 0:55publish the repurpose content to any
  27. 0:57social media platform and then over time
  28. 1:00you can continuously teach the AI with
  29. 1:01examples you like so if it creates an
  30. 1:03output for Pinterest and Facebook and
  31. 1:05Twitter and you really really like how
  32. 1:07it worded the Twitter thread for example
  33. 1:10you can feed that back into your
  34. 1:12personal knowledge base or brain and
  35. 1:14then similar to other social media tools
  36. 1:16it would have an automated weekly cue so
  37. 1:18you would be able to choose the time
  38. 1:20slots that you would like to
  39. 1:21automatically publish Monday Wednesday
  40. 1:23Friday for example you want to publish
  41. 1:25on LinkedIn Facebook X and Tik Tok for
  42. 1:27technical folks out there the way to
  43. 1:29think of it is a pandoc for Content
  44. 1:31creators so any social media Source do a
  45. 1:34bunch of Transformations on it and then
  46. 1:35push it out to other social media
  47. 1:37sources and my inspiration for this idea
  48. 1:40is my own process for creating content
  49. 1:42in the past three months I've grown from
  50. 1:44nearly zero to over 130,000 followers
  51. 1:47across LinkedIn Tik Tok my newsletter
  52. 1:50YouTube and so on and a big part of my
  53. 1:53workflow is just repurposing my own
  54. 1:55content like I'm not even talking about
  55. 1:57other people's content I for example
  56. 1:59this YouTube video I want to repurpose
  57. 2:01this into shorts into Tik toks into a
  58. 2:03newsletter into tweets into LinkedIn
  59. 2:05posts and I do have ai automations for
  60. 2:08it so I use zapier for simpler
  61. 2:10automations and pipe dream which is a
  62. 2:12developer friendly version of zapier for
  63. 2:14more complex automations but the thing I
  64. 2:16noticed and what kept popping up is I'm
  65. 2:18seeing on Tik Tok on YouTube people keep
  66. 2:21asking about how to build AI automations
  67. 2:23for Content creation and they're asking
  68. 2:26like for the same things again and again
  69. 2:27I thought to myself it would be really
  70. 2:29nice if I just had you know an easy to
  71. 2:31use SAS platform I could have a lot of
  72. 2:33control around that repurposing process
  73. 2:35and just have everything in one place so
  74. 2:38I know this paino is real because I
  75. 2:40personally have it as a Creator and I
  76. 2:41use like all of these different tools
  77. 2:43for Content creation for example I use
  78. 2:45repurpose doio to take my Tik toks and
  79. 2:48push them to YouTube shorts and
  80. 2:49Instagram reals but for example you
  81. 2:51can't take one of my newsletters and
  82. 2:54create a faceless video from it um you
  83. 2:56can't take my YouTube video and create a
  84. 2:59newsletter from it using repurpose doio
  85. 3:02I would just like to have a SAS platform
  86. 3:04where I could like remix my own content
  87. 3:06in one place at scale while maintaining
  88. 3:09my brand personal knowledge and identity
  89. 3:11so that's kind of the vision for the
  90. 3:13platform it's definitely not V1 so I'm
  91. 3:16starting with the vision because it's
  92. 3:17kind of what excites me and the word
  93. 3:19remix is what comes to mind but remix a
  94. 3:22is taken and AI remix.com is taken so I
  95. 3:24don't know I might have to change that
  96. 3:26okay so now we have like this Vision I'm
  97. 3:28super excited about what is it actually
  98. 3:30take to bring it to life I want to talk
  99. 3:32about all the things you should do
  100. 3:34before writing a line of code and I
  101. 3:36don't think it's a lot of things like I
  102. 3:38don't think this should take weeks and
  103. 3:39weeks for me it took like 24 hours and
  104. 3:42now I feel great and confident about
  105. 3:44writing a line of code but the first
  106. 3:46thing is like run your idea by people
  107. 3:48who probably have the paint Point too
  108. 3:50for example people who already use
  109. 3:51similar tools as I do people who are
  110. 3:53creating content and just see what they
  111. 3:55think so I'll show you how I did this
  112. 3:57unfortunately I do have an audience
  113. 3:59which makes this easier this is my Tik
  114. 4:01Tok page where I basically posted a
  115. 4:04video literally two days ago saying hey
  116. 4:07guys I have a new app idea and I'm
  117. 4:09looking for feedback um so here you can
  118. 4:11kind of see the captions basically a lot
  119. 4:13of people ask me for AI automations I'm
  120. 4:14thinking of building a sass app that
  121. 4:16helps you repurpose stuff while
  122. 4:17maintaining your brand your voice your
  123. 4:19identity really making it super easy for
  124. 4:22solopreneurs small businesses to push
  125. 4:24out content high quality on a consistent
  126. 4:27schedule without having to feel
  127. 4:29overwhelmed welmed by like all the
  128. 4:30social media tools out there especially
  129. 4:32as a small business content creation is
  130. 4:34probably not your main focus so the goal
  131. 4:36is to have an AI powered system that
  132. 4:38takes care of a lot of the workflows and
  133. 4:40tedious stuff so you can focus on
  134. 4:42delivering your core message and also
  135. 4:44focus on the main thing that your
  136. 4:45business does so that you know you're
  137. 4:47not spending all of your time trying to
  138. 4:48create content I launched this video two
  139. 4:50days ago and it's gotten thousands and
  140. 4:52thousands of views 100 or so comments I
  141. 4:55replied to all the comments so I just
  142. 4:56split this in half because I assume half
  143. 4:58of these are me but yeah you can see
  144. 5:00kind of like the comments here um
  145. 5:02sometimes people you know just say hey
  146. 5:04this is a great idea sounds amazing and
  147. 5:06then other people offer more detailed
  148. 5:08feedback for example automating recent
  149. 5:11articles that can be repurposed for Gen
  150. 5:13Z creating LinkedIn posts I'm starting a
  151. 5:16small business something like this would
  152. 5:17be amazing huge timesaver and that's
  153. 5:19really like my target market here like
  154. 5:22you have a core business but you want to
  155. 5:24do content marketing for it organically
  156. 5:26but it takes time to do that and like
  157. 5:28you're really busy running your small
  158. 5:30business this was a really interesting
  159. 5:32far more interested in surfacing
  160. 5:33articles and videos that would be
  161. 5:34valuable so like the fire hose of social
  162. 5:36media content today can we use AI to
  163. 5:39filter for quality and relevant posts
  164. 5:41and those are the ones that you kind of
  165. 5:43repurpose for your audience in Market a
  166. 5:46lot of people ask me to share how I buil
  167. 5:48it which is why I'm filming this video
  168. 5:50series this was a great comment as well
  169. 5:52you know being able to preserve your
  170. 5:54voice and content rather than just like
  171. 5:56regurgitating what other people are
  172. 5:58saying huge need for people there are
  173. 6:01other programs out there trying to do
  174. 6:03this but it cost like thousands of
  175. 6:04dollars to learn how to build it out I
  176. 6:06mean that seems expensive teach social
  177. 6:08media and digital marketing on the
  178. 6:09college level I actually spoke to this
  179. 6:12woman and she's doing an amazing job
  180. 6:14teaching social media and digital
  181. 6:15marketing for college graduates and
  182. 6:18being able to kind of build a personal
  183. 6:20brand early on in your career is another
  184. 6:22really huge use case for this
  185. 6:24potentially Tech startup Founders having
  186. 6:27done a tech startup myself like social
  187. 6:29media marketing was not the main focus
  188. 6:32we didn't have anyone on the team who
  189. 6:33was particularly an expert in that it
  190. 6:36was one of those things that we knew we
  191. 6:37should do so I'm I'm just showcasing
  192. 6:40this to show you what I mean so when I
  193. 6:42say like before writing line of code run
  194. 6:45your idea by people with a paino so I
  195. 6:47literally just went to my Tik Tok oh I
  196. 6:49have this idea posted a video which
  197. 6:51probably took me like 3 minutes to film
  198. 6:54and then started getting feedback and
  199. 6:55I've actually spoken to some of these
  200. 6:57people on on a phone to like interview
  201. 6:59them about their use case what tools
  202. 7:01they've tried their pain points their
  203. 7:02ideal workflow so I don't think this has
  204. 7:04to be very long now if you don't have an
  205. 7:06existing audience today what I would
  206. 7:08recommend is like going to where your
  207. 7:10audience hangs out today so that could
  208. 7:12be a subreddit could be a LinkedIn group
  209. 7:15a Facebook group whatever and just go in
  210. 7:17there and like just be honest just be
  211. 7:19transparent like I I have this paino
  212. 7:22it's been something I'm thinking about
  213. 7:23does anyone else resonate with these
  214. 7:25pain points and what tools have you
  215. 7:26tried this is before writing a line of
  216. 7:28code but like I I'm very action oriented
  217. 7:30I don't like to delay building the
  218. 7:32product and so this really shouldn't
  219. 7:34take very long so the video I posted was
  220. 7:372 days ago and now we're here going to
  221. 7:39build the MVP um the second thing and
  222. 7:42the third thing are both related and I
  223. 7:44do feel like this is really difficult
  224. 7:46for everyone even for me we have in our
  225. 7:49minds this amazing vision of what we
  226. 7:51want to build and like all these
  227. 7:52features it's going to have and like how
  228. 7:54amazing it's going to be but you just
  229. 7:56can't start there if you try to start
  230. 7:58there with your V1 most likely like you
  231. 8:00won't even get there you won't launch
  232. 8:02and quite frankly like many
  233. 8:04entrepreneurs I meet with especially
  234. 8:06firsttime entrepreneurs they struggle in
  235. 8:08this beginning phase like taking an idea
  236. 8:11distilling it down to its core thing you
  237. 8:14want to test the core hypothesis and
  238. 8:16launching it to get feedback that's the
  239. 8:19where most people in my opinion from
  240. 8:20what I've seen get stuck stay stuck
  241. 8:23unfortunately this first video I'm not
  242. 8:26even going to write code I'm actually
  243. 8:28just going to talk about what it took to
  244. 8:31distill my vision down to a feasible
  245. 8:33spec for V1 for my MVP which stands for
  246. 8:36minimum viable products and that's it
  247. 8:38for this video and the reason I'm doing
  248. 8:40it this way is because this is just so
  249. 8:42important you have to narrow down your
  250. 8:45scope I've noticed energy momentum like
  251. 8:48they can kind of die with an idea you
  252. 8:50you want to go from an idea to launched
  253. 8:53as quickly as possible and the key to
  254. 8:55that is just cutting out as much scope
  255. 8:58as possible like a barely working
  256. 9:01version one is totally fine Clarity is
  257. 9:03also a really big thing so in addition
  258. 9:06to narrowing down the scope like writing
  259. 9:08out exactly what a user does in your app
  260. 9:13is is a really important skill not just
  261. 9:15for interacting with AI and LMS but for
  262. 9:18Building Products explaining what your
  263. 9:20products do so again we start with this
  264. 9:23Grand Vision of everything like connect
  265. 9:25any social media source for example like
  266. 9:28take a newsletter and be able to remix
  267. 9:30it into a faceless video for Tik Tok
  268. 9:32with like videos voice over captions
  269. 9:36b-roll animations like all that stuff
  270. 9:38like that's the end state right the
  271. 9:41first thing we probably want to do first
  272. 9:43of all is choose the easiest media type
  273. 9:46which is text and then repurpose it or
  274. 9:49remix it to other text so so here's kind
  275. 9:53of the spec and how I'm thinking about
  276. 9:55it so let's just walk through it step by
  277. 9:57step uh the first thing I'm going to
  278. 9:59tell the AI is your goal is to build a
  279. 10:01SAS web app that helps users repurpose
  280. 10:04content from one social media platform
  281. 10:05to another for me personally this is the
  282. 10:07Tex stack I use for MVPs and we'll go
  283. 10:10through setting it up it's important to
  284. 10:12mention it to the AI so it knows like
  285. 10:16what what stack you're using and doesn't
  286. 10:18try to like change your stack in the
  287. 10:21process um so this is just like kind of
  288. 10:23a best practice I figured out work
  289. 10:25working with AI to code for me so I say
  290. 10:27the web app must use Firebase we're
  291. 10:28going to use that that as a database
  292. 10:30nextjs is a full stack web app framework
  293. 10:33these are kind of options within nextjs
  294. 10:35we're going to use typescript Tailwind
  295. 10:37CSS and app router and the main screen
  296. 10:41is what we're going to work on so how
  297. 10:43did I decide to like build this first
  298. 10:45the way I think about it what is the
  299. 10:47minimum thing that I would use if it
  300. 10:50existed if I started working on
  301. 10:52connecting social media sources and that
  302. 10:55was it that's nice but I can't really
  303. 10:57use that for anything useful here if
  304. 11:00even if I don't connect social media
  305. 11:02accounts even if I can't sign up even if
  306. 11:05I can't automate it with a weekly queue
  307. 11:07even if I cannot you know upload my
  308. 11:09brain my brand voice and everything if I
  309. 11:12can take a PO a text post like an
  310. 11:15article and then repurpose it for a
  311. 11:17LinkedIn post a tweet and a Facebook
  312. 11:21text post that alone is useful because
  313. 11:24what I can do is I can just copy each
  314. 11:26post like the LinkedIn Post open
  315. 11:27LinkedIn and paste it and yes that steps
  316. 11:30manual like it's not going to be perfect
  317. 11:32in V1 there's still a lot more to build
  318. 11:34out but that kernel is already useful
  319. 11:37for me as the user uh and if you're not
  320. 11:40the user that is something you want to
  321. 11:41run by your audience like the people who
  322. 11:43give you feedback the minimum viable
  323. 11:46kernel of the thing that you ultimately
  324. 11:48want to build but that would be useful
  325. 11:51today for someone even if it totally
  326. 11:53sucks which it it is going to I'm
  327. 11:55telling you now I anticipate people will
  328. 11:57be like oh this MVP is easy easy and it
  329. 11:59sucks and blah blah blah but that's
  330. 12:01that's not the point in this video
  331. 12:03series I'm showing what it looks like to
  332. 12:05actually take this super fancy amazing
  333. 12:07idea that everybody loves in theory and
  334. 12:10and actually build it out you know piece
  335. 12:12by piece so this is why I chose to
  336. 12:14create screen because if it did this
  337. 12:18which I'm going to talk about if it did
  338. 12:19just this I would already be able to use
  339. 12:21it today that's my criteria for what the
  340. 12:24MVP or minimum viable product should be
  341. 12:27so let's talk about what I mean by the
  342. 12:29eight screen um I started working on
  343. 12:31mockups for what I wanted the main
  344. 12:33screen to look like if I wanted to be
  345. 12:34even more ruthless in simplifying this
  346. 12:36I'd
  347. 12:37remove this kind of dashboard look with
  348. 12:40the left side bar and the top knv bar I
  349. 12:42would just have you know these two
  350. 12:44panels this form where you submit like
  351. 12:47the input text and then the outputs over
  352. 12:50here that have been repurposed using AI
  353. 12:52if I wanted to be like super ruthless
  354. 12:54and cutting cutting the scope down by
  355. 12:57the way this is literally a photo photo
  356. 12:59I took of the mockup I drew in Amazon
  357. 13:02scribe and I really like my Amazon
  358. 13:04scribe because you can just like doodle
  359. 13:06and draw stuff and then erase stuff
  360. 13:09resize stuff and move stuff around um so
  361. 13:11it's really forgiving for someone like
  362. 13:13me where I have zero background in
  363. 13:15drawing zero background in UI or user
  364. 13:18experience you can see here I cannot
  365. 13:20even draw a straight line and my point
  366. 13:22is like you don't need to have those
  367. 13:25formal skills we're going for a
  368. 13:27Simplicity we're trying to remove
  369. 13:29everything that we don't need in the
  370. 13:31first version so actually if I wanted to
  371. 13:33be even more ruthless let's say like
  372. 13:34you're pretty new to Building Products
  373. 13:37what how would you simplify this even
  374. 13:39further this is probably a good exercise
  375. 13:41so I was pretty happy with this mockup
  376. 13:43like I'm pretty confident I can have a I
  377. 13:45build this in the MVP but if I wanted to
  378. 13:46simplify this even further what would I
  379. 13:49do so here kind of this red block I just
  380. 13:52remove this left sideb barar again don't
  381. 13:55really need it just to test the core
  382. 13:57idea I would remove this top now bar
  383. 13:59again don't really need it to test the
  384. 14:01core idea initially how I was thinking
  385. 14:03about it is you could input a URL and a
  386. 14:06text input so let's say like there's a
  387. 14:08YouTube video with ideas you really like
  388. 14:10and then related to it there's kind of
  389. 14:11an article with slightly different
  390. 14:13points of views but both a really
  391. 14:15interesting content and you want to
  392. 14:17repurpose them remix them and then add
  393. 14:19your take on both of them so like you
  394. 14:22could input a a URL to a YouTube or an
  395. 14:24article as well as put in any text you
  396. 14:27want but again for the MVP
  397. 14:29we can remove that we don't really need
  398. 14:30it either do we right so um for this
  399. 14:34yeah we don't need LinkedIn or Twitter
  400. 14:35we're just going to start with one
  401. 14:37social media platform okay so it's just
  402. 14:39a text input and submit okay and since
  403. 14:42we're just starting with Facebook we're
  404. 14:44actually going to remove these squares
  405. 14:46too okay and then let's say we're not
  406. 14:49going to generate an image we just want
  407. 14:51a text post right oh here here okay so
  408. 14:55we have simplified the MVP even further
  409. 14:59and actually for the MVP I am going to
  410. 15:01focus just on one social media account
  411. 15:03because I feel like it should be
  412. 15:04sufficiently useful for one and then you
  413. 15:07can always add additional social media
  414. 15:09accounts and we started with over here
  415. 15:11like super Grand Vision okay we tried to
  416. 15:14we try to narrow it down to like what is
  417. 15:17the main screen and the thing that I
  418. 15:19want to happen that would be useful just
  419. 15:22as the first version of the product okay
  420. 15:24and then kind of Drew a mockup for it
  421. 15:26and now I'm simplifying the mockup even
  422. 15:29further like this really is the base of
  423. 15:32the product so the less technical you
  424. 15:34are the less coding and product
  425. 15:37background you have the more I would
  426. 15:39encourage you to simplify and I know
  427. 15:42that's going to be hard because now you
  428. 15:44know this MVP doesn't look very
  429. 15:45impressive it it is a difficult exercise
  430. 15:48but it is really important to get
  431. 15:50accustomed to being able to do this and
  432. 15:53as you become more Technical and more
  433. 15:55confident in your abilities to build
  434. 15:57products and actually bring them to life
  435. 15:59that's when you can start kind of
  436. 16:01reintroducing certain things back like
  437. 16:03for me I'm going to still have a sidebar
  438. 16:06and top KN bar that's pretty easy
  439. 16:08because they're just placeholders for
  440. 16:09now anyway but I am going to remove all
  441. 16:12of these other things so we're not going
  442. 16:13to generate an image in this first
  443. 16:15version we're not going to hook up to
  444. 16:17LinkedIn or Twitter in this first
  445. 16:18version we're not going to let you input
  446. 16:20a URL for this first version and yeah
  447. 16:22we're just going to constrain it to
  448. 16:24Facebook for now okay so now let's talk
  449. 16:26about what our MVP will actually do now
  450. 16:28that we've removed a bunch of features
  451. 16:30like what is left what does it do so we
  452. 16:32have kind of this left sidebar which has
  453. 16:35placeholder navigation options to
  454. 16:38navigate to the create screen which is
  455. 16:39the main screen the que the dashboard
  456. 16:42and the brand which is like our personal
  457. 16:45knowledge base or voice identity and
  458. 16:47again these are all just placeholders
  459. 16:48it's just a left sidebar and then it has
  460. 16:50a settings at the bottom uh this top
  461. 16:52Navar will display the current screen's
  462. 16:55name so for this version we're only
  463. 16:57going to have the create screen but in
  464. 16:58future versions like this could say Q
  465. 17:01you'll see like the Quee of posts you
  466. 17:03have coming up or you could say brand
  467. 17:04where you can edit your personal
  468. 17:06knowledge base your brain your your
  469. 17:08voice okay so now let's go to the main
  470. 17:10section it's a simple form with a
  471. 17:12paragraph text inputs and then you can
  472. 17:15select a social media platform from the
  473. 17:17checklist so we will allow the selection
  474. 17:20from the checklist but we just won't
  475. 17:22publish to those other platforms for now
  476. 17:25for this MVP in let's say you find a
  477. 17:28tweet that you like copy paste it over
  478. 17:30here and let's say you want to repurpose
  479. 17:32it for LinkedIn and Facebook so you go
  480. 17:34ahead paste this over here click
  481. 17:36LinkedIn click Facebook when the user
  482. 17:38clicks the submit button okay the app
  483. 17:40makes an API call to chat GPT to
  484. 17:43repurpose the text into a Facebook
  485. 17:46social media post and the prompt should
  486. 17:48force the output to be in Json format
  487. 17:51you don't necessarily need to specify it
  488. 17:53but I like to do this because Json
  489. 17:55format is easier for programming
  490. 17:58languages to handle and then we want to
  491. 17:59use the chat GPT model 40 mini which it
  492. 18:02will probably get wrong because this is
  493. 18:04brand new the AI is probably not up to
  494. 18:06date with this announcement uh so
  495. 18:08actually let me remove that on the right
  496. 18:10side here we want to display the results
  497. 18:12return from chat GPT so the Facebook
  498. 18:15post the user should be able to edit the
  499. 18:18output generated by chat GPT and then
  500. 18:21each result like Facebook post should
  501. 18:23have two buttons at the top edit prompt
  502. 18:26and publish when the user clicks edit
  503. 18:29then the user sees a popup where you can
  504. 18:30edit the chat BT prompt and regenerate
  505. 18:33the output and then when you click
  506. 18:35publish you'll see a popup asking to
  507. 18:37confirm publishing the content to that
  508. 18:40social media platform and so the actual
  509. 18:42integration with a social media platform
  510. 18:45won't be until V2 this publish is really
  511. 18:47more of a placeholder but this V1 is
  512. 18:50take a text input apply Transformations
  513. 18:53get the text output and then you can
  514. 18:55copy paste it into a Facebook post and
  515. 18:58here's the walk up and now what I want
  516. 19:00to do is to improve the spec further so
  517. 19:03here we're going to type a prompt like
  518. 19:04this you are a senior software architect
  519. 19:07specializing in building SAS web apps
  520. 19:09you given a software spec to review how
  521. 19:11would you improve the spec output the
  522. 19:13improved spec and then here's the spec
  523. 19:15pasted here so let me go back here and
  524. 19:18I'm literally just going to paste this
  525. 19:22along with the screenshot okay let's
  526. 19:25submit that and what we're doing is
  527. 19:27leveraging AI to help us improve our own
  528. 19:29spec instead of having it output a full
  529. 19:32spec another approach you could take is
  530. 19:33to ask Claude like what are the weak
  531. 19:35areas confusing things in the spec that
  532. 19:38need further clarification so that's
  533. 19:39another way to do it uh what I'm doing
  534. 19:41here where I ask it to Output a new
  535. 19:43version of the spec I think this is
  536. 19:45great if you have a slightly more
  537. 19:47technical background meaning you can
  538. 19:49kind of like read these and pick and
  539. 19:50choose what you want on the right hand
  540. 19:52side this is the spec that Claude
  541. 19:54outputed so overview here's the text
  542. 19:57stack blah blah blah okay see navigation
  543. 20:00I like how it kind of laid out the
  544. 20:01navigation options I like how it laid
  545. 20:04out the UI for the crate screen I like
  546. 20:07the retry mechanism for API failures
  547. 20:11probably not going to build caching
  548. 20:13right now I like how it specified inline
  549. 20:16editing capabilities for generated
  550. 20:18content yeah I like this too so this is
  551. 20:21a great way to leverage AI to just
  552. 20:23assist your thinking assist your process
  553. 20:26in designing the scope and and VP yeah
  554. 20:28he I was really curious if it would
  555. 20:30suggest a queuing system and and it did
  556. 20:33which is great things like this user
  557. 20:35dashboard brand management settings and
  558. 20:37preferences we'll get there it's not in
  559. 20:39the scope for the V1 things like
  560. 20:41performance optimization scalability
  561. 20:43monitoring analytics they're just not in
  562. 20:46scope for V1 definitely future versions
  563. 20:49and then I like here how it how it talks
  564. 20:50about future considerations so how do we
  565. 20:52build this in such a way that it'll be
  566. 20:54easy to integrate additional social
  567. 20:56media platforms I like it's proposal
  568. 20:58plugin system for extensibility that's
  569. 21:01cool so what I'm going to do now is take
  570. 21:03parts of the outputed spec the improved
  571. 21:06spec and copy it over to mine let's go
  572. 21:09ahead and do that so we're going to skip
  573. 21:11authentication for our V1 but I really
  574. 21:14like how it laid out the navigation okay
  575. 21:17so what we'll do is we'll just create
  576. 21:19another version of this down here so we
  577. 21:20can keep the original and compare let's
  578. 21:23do
  579. 21:24this and usually do a hash sign it's
  580. 21:27like a header yeah like this as well
  581. 21:30multi multi-line text input for original
  582. 21:33content platform selection via
  583. 21:35checkboxes generate content button okay
  584. 21:38I like how it specifies a modular prompt
  585. 21:40for each platform to ensure optimal
  586. 21:42output we I'm just going I'm going to
  587. 21:44include everything except caching
  588. 21:45generated content to reduce API
  589. 21:48calls really wish Google Docs had Vim
  590. 21:51mode and then content display and
  591. 21:53editing okay so that was pretty much
  592. 21:56everything covered in the navigation and
  593. 21:58the content screen I think I still want
  594. 22:00to include this so here in AI content
  595. 22:03generation integrate open AI API for
  596. 22:05Content repurposing I'm going to change
  597. 22:07this to generate content because this is
  598. 22:09the button it labeled it here and then
  599. 22:11the app makes an API call and then
  600. 22:14content display and editing here I'm
  601. 22:17going to kind of combine it show AI
  602. 22:19generated content for each platform in
  603. 22:21the right side the app displays the
  604. 22:22results return from chat GPT because
  605. 22:24right now we're only working with
  606. 22:25Facebook I definitely like its wording
  607. 22:27there I like the advanced prompt editing
  608. 22:29but some of it is out of scope so here
  609. 22:31I'm going to take what we had I like how
  610. 22:33it said modal instead of popup this is
  611. 22:36great I just think it's out of scope for
  612. 22:37this version but it's again it's really
  613. 22:39cool that Claude is thinking ahead what
  614. 22:41we want to implement for this version
  615. 22:44we're not going to actually have that
  616. 22:45publishing capability enabled so all the
  617. 22:49rest of this is out of scope for V1 and
  618. 22:52I know it's hard to reduce the scope it
  619. 22:54sucks like cutting everything cool out
  620. 22:57and the first version is kind of just
  621. 22:59like a form but that's kind of the
  622. 23:01reality of building sasps you have to
  623. 23:04start with something you can actually
  624. 23:05Implement that's useful and different
  625. 23:07from something out there and that you
  626. 23:09can launch and start using and getting
  627. 23:10feedback on okay so I'm just skimming
  628. 23:12through the rest I don't think we need
  629. 23:14to include anything else this is all out
  630. 23:16of scope for V1 okay cool here's the
  631. 23:19updated prompts with claud's
  632. 23:21help I still want to give it the goal
  633. 23:25build the screen and function
  634. 23:29ality below refer let's say referring to
  635. 23:32the attached mockup so it's not strictly
  636. 23:34following the attached mockup let me
  637. 23:36call this updated V1 spec so here's our
  638. 23:40original spec and this is the version
  639. 23:42updated with claud's help before I wrap
  640. 23:44up this video I do want to give you a
  641. 23:46preview of what Claude is going to
  642. 23:48produce with our updated spec in the
  643. 23:50next video I'll walk through setting up
  644. 23:52like the Tex stack and Dev tools that I
  645. 23:54typically use for MVPs but I didn't want
  646. 23:57to end this video without showing Claude
  647. 23:59writing some code so here what we're
  648. 24:01going to do is copy and paste the spec
  649. 24:04attach the mockup remix okay just double
  650. 24:07check everything looks good let's add
  651. 24:10some Chain of Thought take a deep breath
  652. 24:13and take it step by step so here we're
  653. 24:18using claw artifacts feeding in the
  654. 24:20updated spec and then waiting for CLA
  655. 24:23artifacts to produce the code um the
  656. 24:26first step it's going to walk us through
  657. 24:27how to actually set up the project and
  658. 24:29the structure of the project and then
  659. 24:31organizing the project structure so this
  660. 24:33is kind of what it should look like okay
  661. 24:35implementing the layout and navigation
  662. 24:37so here's the layout here's the create
  663. 24:40screen with the content form create the
  664. 24:43content form components here's the
  665. 24:46actual open aai integration to generate
  666. 24:48the content repurpose the given content
  667. 24:51for this specific platform return the
  668. 24:53result in Json format and then here to
  669. 24:55complete the project you'll need to
  670. 24:57implement the remaining screens Q
  671. 24:59dashboard brand and settings this is out
  672. 25:01of scope for the MVP even though it was
  673. 25:04included in the mockup so this is just a
  674. 25:06preview just wanted to show you here on
  675. 25:08the right hand side you can see all the
  676. 25:09artifacts that It produced everything
  677. 25:11from setting up the commands to all the
  678. 25:14individual components like the content
  679. 25:16form the actions you can take the open
  680. 25:19AI Library so one thing I did notice
  681. 25:21here for example we'll want to change
  682. 25:23what model it's using GPT 3.5 turbo the
  683. 25:26results usually aren't that great for
  684. 25:28wrting in content so just to recap in
  685. 25:30this video we talked about how to take a
  686. 25:32really Grand Vision with lots of
  687. 25:33features distill it down to its Core
  688. 25:36Essence create a mockup how to use
  689. 25:39Claude AI or you can use chat gbt to
  690. 25:41help you improve upon the spec here's
  691. 25:44the updated spec with ai's help and then
  692. 25:47I showed you real quick how to generate
  693. 25:50the initial code base we'll be diving
  694. 25:52into that in a lot more detail in a
  695. 25:54future video and the next video in this
  696. 25:56series will walk through setting up my
  697. 25:59usual text stack for MVP and I just want
  698. 26:01to emphasize again that these are the
  699. 26:02most important things to do before
  700. 26:04writing a line of code as you saw I just
  701. 26:06asked my audience about this idea and
  702. 26:08then I ended up speaking with people who
  703. 26:10have the paino and shared their
  704. 26:12workflows and what they currently use
  705. 26:14today and what they wish they had um
  706. 26:16really try to simplify and narrow down
  707. 26:18the scope as much as possible even my
  708. 26:20own MVP scope here there's probably a
  709. 26:22lot I could cut out so it really depends
  710. 26:24how technical you are and how
  711. 26:26comfortable you are with creating
  712. 26:27product and writing spec we went through
  713. 26:29that exercise remember where I took the
  714. 26:31mock up and just removed things that
  715. 26:33even I would consider unnecessary if I
  716. 26:35absolutely had to scope it down even
  717. 26:36further but again the more technical you
  718. 26:38are the more comfortable you become with
  719. 26:40this process and these types of tools
  720. 26:43the more you know you'll be able to
  721. 26:44include in your scope and be able to
  722. 26:46still launch the MVP pretty quickly most
  723. 26:48importantly think through what the user
  724. 26:50workflow is supposed to be what can the
  725. 26:52user accomplish with your app in one
  726. 26:55minute you know what is point a starting
  727. 26:57point what is is point B the Final
  728. 26:59Destination the outcome that is the
  729. 27:01whole point and value of your app and
  730. 27:04everything else kind of around that is
  731. 27:07usually not necessary for the first
  732. 27:08version all right my name is Sabrina
