4. 0:09Victims I do realize that the crims have

7. 0:19uh the trous crimes have committed is

9. 0:26monster brought
10. 0:28the community
11. 0:31my family the victims

13. 0:35dishonor and there's no and it's all
14. 0:38self-centered as a been call I would
15. 0:41call a sexual
16. 0:42predator today is my final judgment for
17. 0:47me the last couple days in court
18. 0:50presented by the state their PowerPoint
19. 0:53presentation was very
20. 0:55powerful like couple of things I might
21. 0:57point out toward the last but overall
22. 1:00most of that was
23. 1:01true and I think the cedri county ought
24. 1:05to be proud that they do have a good
25. 1:08state that the evidence was there
26. 1:10earlier DNA
27. 1:13floppy there was there was no way that I
28. 1:15was going to get out of

31. 1:24Corrections or the concepts of
32. 1:28apology the old
33. 1:30me started whatever it was factor x
34. 1:34sexual predator the volcano was the
35. 1:37building of all those years was the

37. 1:42devastating upsetting what I mean to
38. 1:45everybody is

42. 1:56selfish and it exploded on that day and

44. 2:02on dishonesty definitely dishonestly
45. 2:06probably the first thing to the people

48. 2:12was willing to tie them up take their
49. 2:14money and leave and then I killed them
50. 2:19that's dis honestly to my
51. 2:24family that um

54. 2:34to my employers and to the county know
55. 2:37taxpayers

58. 2:48Pride back then to some degree I'm
59. 2:50trying to drop down to that but that's
60. 2:53the media I they seem to Crave the
61. 2:55attention of the media I think for the
62. 2:57years that that's quite Pres
63. 2:59presentation during the presentation and
64. 3:01all the archives that I had you can
65. 3:03understand
66. 3:04that I I think the bottom line of the
67. 3:08old is a selfish
68. 3:11very disassociated with with Society
69. 3:15self Center for my own purposes and I
70. 3:18and I take that full burden on my

88. 4:04many Bond memories that and I took that
89. 4:07from her she went to Valley
90. 4:10Center I was at Valley Center High
91. 4:12School for two years there walked the
92. 4:14Halls probably the same line shed May
93. 4:18the same teachers although they would
94. 4:20have been
95. 4:21older she worked at Coleman just like I
96. 4:24did trying to fild a
97. 4:28job is anybody would try to keep you
98. 4:31know our heads above water and I took
99. 4:34that from her theor
100. 4:38Davis she loved animals and I worked as
101. 4:41animal control I realized that in the
102. 4:43early years I probably did have some Cy
103. 4:46animals and I don't think if anybody ask
104. 4:51Park City or anything they they would
105. 4:52say I was I was always pretty good
106. 4:54animals I have I have a great fondness
107. 4:55for Animals I have pets and I know she
108. 4:58had it and read somewhere she had her
109. 5:00last

111. 5:05family and I did to that was a wonderful
112. 5:10time I took that from
113. 5:13her Nessy Fox she was a wonderful person
114. 5:18and I did I did track her just like a
115. 5:21predator U she was a wonderful young
116. 5:25lady well organized hard worker and
117. 5:29after

187. 8:39there was some smoke blowing and that
188. 8:40was probably my
189. 8:42demise the afterlife and smoke the thing
190. 8:45about J Allen smoke bgk story early
191. 8:48parts of it were smoke the problem is I
192. 8:50did lose so much smoke that now nobody
193. 8:53knows fa fiction and that's basically
194. 8:55what my
195. 8:56demise i' be very honest with my
196. 8:58attorneys they worked very
197. 9:02hard we met almost every day earlier
198. 9:05before The Plea somewhat less after at
199. 9:08but it's basically all over and I Steve
200. 9:10encouraged me not to go with an early
201. 9:12plea so he could do more they get all
202. 9:15the things they could with the floppy
203. 9:18they had an expert come in go over the
204. 9:20floppy to see whether there was any
205. 9:23problems with that they did extensive
206. 9:24research in the
207. 9:26DNA there sore spot with me when they
208. 9:28took my daughter but I understand in the
209. 9:30law enforcement you have to do certain
210. 9:33things and I think honestly people will
211. 9:36say I'm not a Christian but I I believe
212. 9:38I
213. 9:40am
214. 9:42so anyway I faced up to the man himself
215. 9:45now my
216. 9:48boss I think that all points to
217. 9:51accountability and full responsibility
218. 9:54now and my
219. 9:56remorse well I think I think it's here
220. 10:01know the uh victim's families will never
221. 10:03be able to forgive
222. 10:04me but I hope somewhere deep down
223. 10:08eventually that'll
224. 10:10happen when this happened I was what I
225. 10:13would say not a total in one time part

227. 10:17me only the thought only the thoughts of
228. 10:20compartmentalized that is probably as
229. 10:23the the state show started show today
230. 10:26was the compartmentalization of me and
231. 10:28that has been my fig where I could put
232. 10:31back and forth I'm not proud of that

238. 10:43the defense I was kind of like an

244. 11:00court Park but I don't think
245. 11:04so so anyway has given me the faith to

255. 11:33police the evidence there wasn't any way
256. 11:36I was really going to get out of this
257. 11:38unless we found some way of of some
258. 11:42evidence that was just totally out of it
259. 11:43and it and the trial would have been a
260. 11:45long drawn out to the police there was
261. 11:47no way that U I was ever going to get
262. 11:49out of
263. 11:50this I think the corrections I'm away
264. 11:53from society now I'll do my healing
265. 11:56process there as well as I can start my
266. 11:59new chapter
267. 12:03line and I suppose in all good time and
268. 12:07as Raider everybody knows Raider has to
269. 12:08complain a little bit so I would like to
270. 12:10do some minor ones not because I want to
271. 12:12complain today but I want to set the
272. 12:14record this is my last
273. 12:17time um the probably the biggest problem
274. 12:21I have right now and we're still trying
275. 12:22to answer is what happened to Mendoza I
276. 12:24had a trust with that person a
277. 12:27psychiatrist he defenses were working on
278. 12:29I know other people working on it that
279. 12:31was a I just don't want it happen and
280. 12:34maybe that will happen um another one is
281. 12:38the uh you I I'm just basically
282. 12:40expressing this I don't have control on
283. 12:42it but wish somebody would take part to
284. 12:45is lean on the house that the final
285. 12:48victim as Mr Davis said is my wife

302. 13:48millions and
303. 13:49years so I I just basically ask that
304. 13:52whoever does that final judgment that
305. 13:54they think about the
306. 13:57wife the other one is uh and not a
307. 14:01biggie it's not this last issue is that
308. 14:04if I ask for my wallet so I could get
309. 14:06some personal pictures out of it I was
310. 14:08hoping the defense would have the court
311. 14:09order that before I leave today I can go
312. 14:11through that wallet and take some family
313. 14:13pictures but that's not a big issue
314. 14:15because I understand through code of
315. 14:17ethics the defense will turn that
316. 14:19probably over to the family and dra my
317. 14:21clothes so those are really those are
318. 14:23the only early complaints except for a
319. 14:26PowerPoint I don't and I again I don't
320. 14:28want to pick on on the law enforcement
321. 14:30they've done a very good job but I do
322. 14:31want to clarify a few things just for
323. 14:34the records because this is basally my
324. 14:36final say the first one there was two
325. 14:39actors that were brought out Jane wner
326. 14:42John Wayne and James
327. 14:44Bond the action of that with
328. 14:47Kevin was the shooting not because I
329. 14:50stood up and shot him because when I was
330. 14:53working with the police that was a what
331. 14:55I call a quick draw just like that
332. 14:58that's what I called the John Wayne shot
333. 15:00it's not that he would do something like
334. 15:02that secondly we fought and for us to
335. 15:06fight he had to have both of his hands
336. 15:08open the PowerPoint said that he
337. 15:11basically just stood up he was tied and
338. 15:13I shot him and that's incorrect he he
339. 15:16fought I backed off he had his hands out
340. 15:19and I shot him again and again these are
341. 15:22only minor it does not make any
342. 15:24difference it's probably I just want set
343. 15:26the record straight and that's all sir

345. 15:33perceived that I was strangling surely I
346. 15:36stopped to comfort the kids that's just
347. 15:39the opposite she or I both put the kids
348. 15:42back in the bathroom comfort in there
349. 15:45before we went and and what
350. 15:48happened so the toys and all that were
351. 15:50put in there

356. 16:09makes you wonder whether the information

360. 16:16like they did a good job well they did

363. 16:23back and forth anybody knows anything
364. 16:25about geology structur as trees and
365. 16:28stuff were not i' like CH they were over
366. 16:31in the eastern part of the United States
367. 16:33so and those pictures that came in the
368. 16:35mail were not not the other ones they
369. 16:37were all from the grave site at
370. 16:41she probably the most damaging to
371. 16:44me was the
372. 16:47pornography they displayed yes they had
373. 16:50pornography of what I had Drew but I
374. 16:51didn't see where they had a lot of
375. 16:53pornography but they brought two
376. 16:54pictures
377. 16:55out family will know that I didn't own a
378. 16:57camper I had a pickup with a camper top
379. 17:00but it didn't have any shelves in that
380. 17:02so that basical evidence was totally
381. 17:04tainted they either picked up a picture
382. 17:06from somewhere else or inserted it or
383. 17:08didn't realize it that may have been a
384. 17:10relative I'm not
385. 17:11sure but I would think if they had more
386. 17:13pornography they would have showed
387. 17:18it that's the basically the
388. 17:22clarifications the other thing is uh
389. 17:25with the law enforcement uh there seem
390. 17:28to be I was uh pled as a dog catcher uh
391. 17:33I did go to AJ law
392. 17:35enforcement I felt like I did have a
393. 17:38report with the law enforcement people
394. 17:40um during the confession as they
395. 17:42probably said in the paper I all
396. 17:44probably be talking if a defense person
397. 17:46didn't show up right we had a good
398. 17:48report they I almost felt like they were
399. 17:50my buddies at one time I asked about Lon
400. 17:52maybe coming in having a cup of coffee
401. 17:54with me so there was a rapport I've
402. 17:56always had a great respect for law
403. 17:57enforcement
404. 17:59uh although I wore a back black hat of a
405. 18:03white

410. 18:13illness starting with I think the you
411. 18:17Society have to even though I'm a
412. 18:20criminal I think you have to appreciate
413. 18:22the police department they've done a lot
414. 18:24of work even though it took a long time
415. 18:27they gathered evidence they had the
416. 18:29evidence when they got the key suspect
417. 18:31they zeroed in on it very graa so they
418. 18:33have the dedication that like Mr LW for
419. 18:35all those years is great so I think
420. 18:37cedri County really has a good police
421. 18:42force defense this has been a unique
422. 18:46probably a different type case that
423. 18:49they've ever had we've had our ups and
424. 18:51downs but mostly they've been good it's
425. 18:54it it's just like a new learning curve
426. 18:56it's just a new curve in the media has
427. 18:59just been terrible uh I worked with the
428. 19:02media afterwards and it I mean it's it's
429. 19:05just it's just tremendous they've done
430. 19:08it very good Sarah has probably been my
431. 19:10probably my Workhorse I really
432. 19:12appreciate her she's done a lot of good
433. 19:14work Steve he had to keep the heads in
434. 19:16all this and I know that was very hard
435. 19:19very hard for him I want to go ahead
436. 19:20since I worked with the very close get
437. 19:22them all

446. 19:44of research for me earlier so I
447. 19:46appreciate her helping that was Jenny BL
448. 19:49with a special investigator and then
449. 19:51Jamie Cher she's the one that cut my
450. 19:52hair and brought my clothes up so I have
451. 19:54a you know they're basically my family
452. 19:57so I appreciate that on the professional
453. 19:59staff although we had some questions
454. 20:01with Robert J Mendoza and what happened
455. 20:03there I think that time that'll be
456. 20:05solved but I still have to give him
457. 20:07credit for coming in and helping me and
458. 20:09working with me and I'm sure I hope I
459. 20:12pronounce that right it's t k walers she
460. 20:14was the other doctor that came in and
461. 20:16they were all from Cambridge
462. 20:18forensic Society for
463. 20:22Consultants so I really appreciate the
464. 20:24defense they've done a lot for me kept
465. 20:26me advised
466. 20:29SED County Detention
467. 20:33Center I was really scared when I first
468. 20:35came in here never been I've never been
469. 20:37arrested before I really didn't want to
470. 20:40look I was basically 40 43 days 42 43
471. 20:43days up an
472. 20:45isolation um at first the officers
473. 20:49control offic they call them deputies
474. 20:50down there po deputies for they didn't
475. 20:53know me I didn't know them but they they
476. 20:54finally opened up and they became human
477. 20:57and I think they realized I was human
478. 20:59too eventually I moved over to pod
479. 21:012 um and that's a very much comaraderie
480. 21:06what I call the dirty dozen or or the
481. 21:09teas and the Pod they were just a bunch
482. 21:10of great guys most of those guys are
483. 21:12gone now but I I have a lot of respect I
484. 21:15I sit down with them we all all have
485. 21:18crimes but there's you basically build a
486. 21:21caderie with type
487. 21:23people the people who move me around I'm
488. 21:27what they call uh I call it hot peppers
489. 21:29a habanero we wear red we have had the
490. 21:31special
491. 21:33Ms again I hope I pronounce these from
492. 21:35the detention area I hope I pronounce
493. 21:37these people's last names right and if I
494. 21:38leave somebody else I apologize for

498. 21:48Lieutenant Larry BRS Sergeant he's my
499. 21:52main Sergeant he's the one that's been
500. 21:54very very close with me work with me
501. 21:56David Millan and I have a lot of respect
502. 21:59for him he's been my main main Sergeant
503. 22:01I'm the
504. 22:02judicial and I'll probably mess up his
505. 22:04last name but it's Daniel far friend and
506. 22:08I I messed that up I'm sorry and Brad
507. 22:11Paul there's many many many more Beyond
508. 22:14those I would be here a long time if I
509. 22:17helped so I do appreciate all those
510. 22:18people that
511. 22:20helped Pastor
512. 22:23Clark he has
513. 22:25been my main man
514. 22:30come see me every day or not every day
515. 22:32excuse me at least once a week sometimes
516. 22:34twice a week if anybody has dishonest to
517. 22:37that man right

521. 22:52a and for him to for him to stay with me

523. 23:01yeah he's a good man I appreciate
524. 23:09that he also went with me uh earlier
525. 23:12this week went through a confession I
526. 23:14sat down went through each of the the
527. 23:16people I killed and we confess on
528. 23:20that and and I felt the strengthening
529. 23:23some bonds there at that time with
530. 23:26him family the last
531. 23:30victims I I don't even start with
532. 23:34them you know there was still supportive
533. 23:37a little bit my wife's going on divorced
534. 23:40she's trying to stay out of Harm's
535. 23:43Way uh since my kids are away I don't
536. 23:46get much letters or anything from them
537. 23:47but they're they're basically supporting

539. 23:59friends without friends a person I don't
540. 24:01think in this 100 what I've been here
541. 24:03175 176 days you couldn't survive
542. 24:06without friends if you didn't have
543. 24:08family to support you if you didn't have
544. 24:09something or some to come to you like
545. 24:11Pastor Clark you'd go down just mentally
546. 24:14You' go down so friends have been a very
547. 24:18key
548. 24:19part the people in the Pod uh po
549. 24:23deputies
550. 24:25Sergeant although they can't have a real
551. 24:28relationship their
552. 24:30friends I got this out this morning for
553. 24:33the other day when I was working out
554. 24:34this comes from the daily devotions the
555. 24:36Christian book it's called Touch by
556. 24:38stranger which is an article and at the
557. 24:41bottom there's an article it's by Hess
558. 24:45there isn't a first name for it but it's
559. 24:47something like a friend would do and I
560. 24:49really appreciate like refreshing rain
561. 24:51in summer or the gentle breeze in Spring
562. 24:54just a little gift of kindness Joy
563. 24:56someone Hearts can bring with immediate
564. 24:59exposure my family basically had to
565. 25:01almost to stay away so I really didn't
566. 25:03have any support there was one people
567. 25:05one person that stepped up Christina C
568. 25:08that really helped and I really
569. 25:10appreciate her
570. 25:12support there's another one that's out
571. 25:13on the west coast Andy parha he's
572. 25:16another Christian and I really support I
573. 25:19would have gone down a long time ago
574. 25:20without their support so I do want to
575. 25:22mention their names

578. 25:36think it's helping me will help me and
579. 25:39leading me this is John

581. 25:44follow me shall not walk in darkness but
582. 25:46have light but light now that I've
583. 25:50confessed put myself out to let
584. 25:52everybody know what's going on I expect
585. 25:55to heal and to have life and then
586. 25:57hopefully someday God will accept

596. 26:31finally going to the dark side our
