- 5:41segment.
- 5:41>> Yeah. First segment.
- 5:42>> Okay.
- 5:43So I believe uh
- 5:49so with your early childhood you
- 5:54>> okay
- 5:54>> so how was your your childhood childhood
- 5:58>> how was my childhood So
- 6:26very a lot of effort.
- 6:38So
- 6:39we are very come from a very modest very
- 6:42modest family.
- 6:47Yeah.
- 7:00Okay.
- 7:08So,
- 7:15yeah. So, I guess I have hunger.
- 7:20Uh, if I want more, I have to work for
- 7:22it.
- 7:24Um, money doesn't come easy and know you
- 7:27really appreciate things when you come
- 7:28from a very poor background.
- 7:38Oh yeah.
- 7:39>> Yeah. So you really
- 7:48electricity.
- 7:52electricity.
- 7:57My first laptop.
- 8:24Bully.
- 8:26So I bought parttime business to
- 8:28>> the university.
- 8:29>> The university. Yeah.
- 8:38[Music]
- 8:42Okay.
- 8:46starting
- 8:58and why Thailand
- 9:26Right. Okay.
- 9:41bag.
- 9:44Yeah.
- 10:12what I can afford back then. So I
- 10:14believe
- 10:40Ah, you take off your shoes, you give it
- 10:42to me, I pay you 50
- 10:47without realizing
- 10:52around there.
- 10:54be my first experience as an
- 10:55entrepreneur.
- 11:06But
- 11:22creative creative creative
- 11:32creative
- 11:38cans, plastic bag
- 11:48[Music]
- 11:51[Laughter]
- 11:56station. Okay.
- 12:01Station. So
- 12:05flowers.
- 12:29Okay. So
- 12:42the other case
- 12:50disclaimer
- 12:52So
- 12:57[Music]
- 13:04station
- 13:10approachity
- 13:13station.
- 13:29[Music]
- 13:32Yeah.
- 13:42The thing that I I
- 14:04Okay. Um
- 14:09[Music]
- 14:15Entrepreneurship not for everyone. This
- 14:18is a fact. Entrepreneurship is not for
- 14:20everyone.
- 14:22Why?
- 14:26Not everyone. It's not suited for
- 14:29everybody. So it really depends on
- 14:31yourself. You need to be self motivated
- 14:34you know to be an entrepreneur. And if
- 14:36you need someone to motivate you only
- 14:38you can be an entrepreneur then you're
- 14:40not an entrepreneur.
- 14:42>> Yeah. Makes sense.
- 14:43>> Yeah. And and I think there's nothing
- 14:45wrong. There's no
- 14:51professional. Yeah.
- 14:56is higher
- 14:58>> now a lot of professionals uh macham you
- 15:01know CEO or bank and stuff like that
- 15:03they get paid higher than most
- 15:05entrepreneurs
- 15:07>> yeah you can look at the annual report
- 15:08of all the listed companies you can see
- 15:10a CEO's pay is so high it's in the
- 15:12millions so there's nothing wrong you
- 15:14know studying hard being a professional
- 15:15or being a CEO of a large company you
- 15:18still get paid very very well yeah so
- 15:22not all Chinese to answer your question
- 15:23not all Chinese families will ask their
- 15:25kids to be entre entrepreneurs but in
- 15:26general um during my grandfather's time
- 15:28yes they love to do business
- 15:31>> it's in it's in the blood they love it
- 15:32they love to
- 15:33>> your grandfather what business you got
- 15:36>> yeah my grandfather is okay so my my my
- 15:39father is a pap
- 15:56straw.
- 15:59Okay.
- 16:07How about your study?
- 16:09[Music]
- 16:12Yeah.
- 16:29pharmaceutical
- 16:30>> scientist soales.
- 16:36Oh,
- 16:41hospital
- 16:47[Music]
- 17:04biotechnology. ology.
- 17:07Why biotechology?
- 17:15[Music]
- 17:20Form.
- 17:43Okay.
- 17:59Okay.
- 18:03Oh,
- 18:05[Music]
- 18:08so I
- 18:13mircet
- 18:26is not so strong right now. Depends on
- 18:28the counselor. Ah, so
- 18:36[Music]
- 18:41pharmaceutical. I bought sales
- 18:45specialists
- 18:51specialists.
- 18:54Yeah. So
- 19:05now
- 19:10make money 500%
- 19:24trading choose what to do.
- 19:29Yeah. Yeah. So,
- 19:36but then
- 19:38discover that product
- 19:40>> that niche that you focus on
- 19:48you.
- 19:51So now you mention about
- 20:02uh
- 20:03for your starting ground if you ask me
- 20:06whether I'll be an entrepreneur today.
- 20:15I mean uh so it's it's like um one thing
- 20:18led to another. So I started selling
- 20:20shoes in Okay.
- 20:23Shopper
- 20:39wholesale. Okay.
- 20:53University.
- 21:03Oh
- 21:07[Laughter]
- 21:10yeah. So
- 21:15for
- 21:19uh Saturday and Sunday
- 21:26weekend. Okay.
- 21:36flea
- 21:38market
- 21:43afternoon
- 21:49then
- 21:51>> how much can you generate in a weekend
- 21:54>> in one weekend?
- 21:55>> One day.
- 21:56>> One day.
- 21:57>> One day. 3,000. No problem.
- 22:00>> Wow.
- 22:03Yeah.
- 22:05[Music]
- 22:09Humble. Humble.
- 22:22Uh yeah,
- 22:25how to do
- 22:31how you manage your moneyes.
- 22:45[Laughter]
- 23:01So top line
- 23:19Um,
- 23:21flying colors.
- 23:30[Laughter]
- 23:44Sigil University
- 23:56[Music]
- 24:01for Indonesia.
- 24:05[Music]
- 24:12Indonesia.
- 24:15Congratulations. Yeah. Thank you. Thank
- 24:16you.
- 24:18Yes. Yes. Yes.
- 24:28Best of the best.
- 24:45Grow business.
- 25:05Okay. So
- 25:08you start.
- 25:14So how you expand the business? Uh we
- 25:17want to talk about expansion, business
- 25:20expansion.
- 25:20>> How is scale?
- 25:21>> Ah scale because I believe uh
- 25:24entrepreneur majority basically
- 25:36different skill set.
- 25:40Okay.
- 25:56successful
- 25:57other degree. Okay.
- 26:04Something technical.
- 26:06>> What do you mean by technical?
- 26:07>> Technical means it comes with skill set.
- 26:09Like example, accountancy, accounting,
- 26:12finance example
- 26:13>> or law, you know, skill set because
- 26:16you're going to use it in the business.
- 26:17You don't know what business you're
- 26:18going to do, but you need a skill.
- 26:20>> Agree.
- 26:21>> Yeah. you know the all these kind of
- 26:22degrees like professional degrees they
- 26:24are very valuable even if you study
- 26:26accountancy you do finance you and you
- 26:29don't become an accountant no problem
- 26:30you can use the skills you can apply it
- 26:32in your business I think it's a very
- 26:33versatile very strong foundation for for
- 26:36everyone
- 26:37>> better
- 26:37>> yeah need to do a technical degree
- 26:39that's better like for me uh
- 26:42biotechnology technical degree
- 26:45science Okay.
- 26:59What
- 27:01degree technical
- 27:04other knowledge? Okay.
- 27:25critical thinking.
- 27:26>> That's the key.
- 27:27>> I think any degree, any course which
- 27:29teaches you critical thinking is going
- 27:31to help you.
- 27:32>> Agree.
- 27:33>> Okay. Uh sidetrack a bit. I known many
- 27:36successful entrepreneurs who have no
- 27:38degree only SPM.
- 27:58So you it's the end of the world. I
- 28:01stand by my words on that. It doesn't if
- 28:04you don't have a degree, it's okay. It's
- 28:06not the end of the world. But if you are
- 28:08a student and your your your parents ask
- 28:10you go and study, please go and study.
- 28:13You get what I mean?
- 28:14>> Yeah.
- 28:14>> Yeah. I mean those people
- 28:35like it's one out of like one out of a
- 28:38few million only you meet someone like
- 28:39that the the if you want to increase
- 28:42your chances of being a successful
- 28:44entrepreneur you have the very good
- 28:46education foundation education is your
- 28:48foundation and knowledge is your
- 28:49foundation
- 28:54>> and I'll I'll elaborate more on that I I
- 28:56don't want to go off off topic. What was
- 28:57your question?
- 28:58>> My my question is you scale up. Oh,
- 29:01scale up. Scale up. So basically of
- 29:02course knowledge
- 29:05up
- 29:07then definitely
- 29:10how do you for your own case
- 29:14then?
- 29:17>> Yeah.
- 29:17>> Okay. So um I what I did was uh the time
- 29:21Facebook was getting very popular.
- 29:29around there. Yes. So what I did was I
- 29:31took a photograph of the shoes that I
- 29:33was I was selling and then I posted them
- 29:35on Facebook. Okay. So in between there's
- 29:38a lot of story. So I try to shorten it
- 29:40or not the podcast cannot end.
- 29:44So halfway through when I was selling in
- 29:45uh selling in the malam and everything.
- 29:48So
- 29:55yeah,
- 30:00so I stopped doing for a while because
- 30:02cannot make already.
- 30:06So then
- 30:10supply chain.
- 30:38brand new
- 30:51complicated.
- 30:52I underestimate the amount of uh thought
- 30:55and work needed to do it because my
- 30:58friend say mind you just do yourself
- 30:59like oh okay that's a good idea then I
- 31:02so
- 31:10okay good idea
- 31:12You designer
- 31:25Sakara
- 31:26Hospital
- 31:30then then um so I so I because I've
- 31:34known a lot of uh a lot of uh
- 31:35connections in the footwear industry. So
- 31:37I approached a few factories. is I gave
- 31:39them my designs.
- 31:40>> I just sketches and stuff like that,
- 31:42what I thought that would sell based on
- 31:44all the customer feedback that I got,
- 31:46you know, when I was selling in like
- 31:50customer feedback
- 31:58design and then I go and see the
- 32:01factory.
- 32:12day. Okay. Do factory. Okay. Fed up. I
- 32:15bought you then. So, so that was the
- 32:19start of my shoe label. I I did some
- 32:22sketches and then a factory helped me to
- 32:24make a small quantity and then I posted
- 32:26on Facebook. Facebook.
- 32:30injury. I upload Facebook. I post
- 32:35and uh put my phone number
- 32:38I mean
- 32:46[Music]
- 32:57COD cash on delivery
- 33:00center point. So I first
- 33:16total stranger. Okay, that was my first
- 33:19sale and um I said, "Wow." Then after
- 33:21every day, everyone keep calling me. Oh
- 33:23my god.
- 33:33I say after 8 p.m.
- 33:37Midnight
- 33:43all the stranger come my house at
- 33:44midnight.
- 33:53Oh the world is very different from last
- 33:55time and now. So,
- 34:08so
- 34:10[Music]
- 34:23service
- 34:41I see.
- 34:41>> Very old customer. Like very very loyal.
- 34:44Damn loyal. Yeah. A lot. A lot.
- 34:51So, oh, I miss your mom. How's Auntie
- 34:53Irene? Oh yeah. Last time we used my
- 34:56customers will come my house midnight my
- 34:58mom will cook and then we
- 35:04so that's that's essentially how I
- 35:06started and then after a while I felt it
- 35:08was really unsustainable and I had to
- 35:09find some way to scale it. So I got
- 35:12myself a very simple WordPress template
- 35:14and I installed a plug-in and I built my
- 35:16first e-commerce site using Blogspot.
- 35:19>> Blogspot.
- 35:20>> Yeah. That's a long time ago.
- 35:22>> Yeah. That was how I I I transitioned
- 35:24from you know um like a part-time manual
- 35:27to a website from using Bloxspot
- 35:30>> and you know we're very lucky to be uh
- 35:32doing business in this era because
- 35:33there's so many extremely good
- 35:35technology you know there's so many
- 35:37existing shopping carts which are
- 35:39amazing which you can just plug and play
- 35:42and you can go live you know in just
- 35:44matter of hours
- 35:46>> and during my era when I started there
- 35:47was no such thing was only blogspot and
- 35:49there was like OS commerce uh Then there
- 35:52was Magento as well and there was like
- 35:54>> Shopify started against you.
- 35:55>> Not yet.
- 35:56>> Not yet.
- 35:56>> Yeah. I I I Christie is on Shopify now.
- 35:59>> We transition into we replatform into
- 36:01Shopify in year 2020. Prior to that we
- 36:04were using um
- 36:07opensource
- 36:08>> open. Open cut.
- 36:10>> Open cut.
- 36:11>> Open cut. Okay. We're using open cut
- 36:12which is open source to build our our
- 36:14website.
- 36:16Prior to open cut we were using uh
- 36:19oscommerce
- 36:21>> and prior to oscommerce we were using
- 36:25what are we using? We use many different
- 36:27we replatform so many times
- 36:29>> but the the the most recent was to
- 36:31Shopify plus in 2020 and I think the
- 36:34right platform is really important and
- 36:36that's where we saw uh using the right
- 36:38tools in business is very important. um
- 36:45that's how you scale. I think to answer
- 36:47your question, scaling is very um it's
- 36:50all about using the right tools
- 36:52>> and about hiring the right people.
- 36:54>> So to to uh if you want to if you want
- 36:56to get from point A to point B like from
- 36:59this level of revenue to higher level of
- 37:00revenue, you will need to
- 37:04use the right tools. So I think why
- 37:05we're able to scale really really fast
- 37:09>> made a lot of good decision in the
- 37:10choice of technology that we pick
- 37:13>> and and we we have also been in
- 37:16situations where we worked with the
- 37:18wrong technology partner.
- 37:20>> Yeah. We terminate them because they do
- 37:24because the the issue with um when I
- 37:27started e-commerce it was pretty new and
- 37:29I I would say that we are one of the
- 37:30pioneers in in this segment and there
- 37:33are not many choices. So every and then
- 37:34it was all very expensive and and we we
- 37:37were the first first one of the very few
- 37:39who did
- 37:42uh no
- 37:44multi- channelannel uh multi-
- 37:46channelannel selling multi- channelannel
- 37:47and omni channel meaning like uh online
- 37:50to offline offline to online o to we and
- 37:53it was and being a like a sort of like a
- 37:57pioneer in that segment
- 37:59there were not many tools available so I
- 38:01had to customize we do lot of
- 38:03customization to our open cut and
- 38:05because you customize something
- 38:08there a lot of problems each time when
- 38:09we try to add in a new feature something
- 38:11will crack you know and when the tra
- 38:14something was will will something will
- 38:17break apart
- 38:18>> and uh and it came to also a point where
- 38:22our web traffic was so high that um and
- 38:26that time we were on dedicated servers
- 38:28we had like seven to eight dedicated
- 38:30servers for our website that's how long
- 38:32ago how how how
- 38:35ancient this was. Um and we hosted like
- 38:39we had dedicated servers in the data
- 38:40center you know we had went through that
- 38:42as well and uh and and that kind of uh
- 38:45server that kind of uh server
- 38:47infrastructure could not withstand the
- 38:50kind of traffic that we were getting
- 38:52>> and every time when we launch a new
- 38:53product our website will crash and crash
- 38:55and crash
- 38:56>> okay and most of the time because I'm
- 39:02focus
- 39:03technology
- 39:07>> out of my scope, out of my expertise. So
- 39:09for technology, go to the technology
- 39:11experts
- 39:12>> just only focus on what you're good in.
- 39:14So what am I? I'm I am a shoe and
- 39:16handbag company.
- 39:17>> We are a shoe and handbag retailer.
- 39:19>> Focus on that.
- 39:21>> Do not try to do other things. We even
- 39:23built our own website last time. We did
- 39:26some we did a shoe customization engine
- 39:28also before that. Yeah, a lot of
- 39:30technical
- 39:32a lot of technical issues
- 39:34>> because we are not we are not technology
- 39:36experts. So once I did my replatforming,
- 39:39my repplatforming and my website's
- 39:42traffic just sort to the uh you know
- 39:44every time when we launch the site
- 39:46doesn't crash. We make we make really
- 39:48really good sales
- 39:50>> just by having stability
- 39:52>> and then the technology keeps improving.
- 39:54Now we have like marketplaces like
- 39:55Shopee, Tik Tok, Lazada and all sorts
- 39:58right and we also sell on our website.
- 39:59We also have we have a few websites
- 40:04website. Uh we have a international
- 40:06site, we have a Indonesian website, we
- 40:08have a Filipino website, a Malaysian
- 40:10website. So all these inventories are
- 40:12being pulled from a warehouse and all
- 40:15the all the different marketplaces in
- 40:17every country, we're also pulling
- 40:18inventory from a warehouse. So how and
- 40:20then my stores in my stores are also
- 40:22pulling inventory from the same from
- 40:24somewhere, right? So what we managed to
- 40:26do is we manage apart from having
- 40:28individual store rooms at all our stores
- 40:30>> all these marketplaces and everything
- 40:32right uh we are connected to each other
- 40:35>> yes we all draw stocks real time
- 40:38simultaneously from the same warehouse
- 40:39to my stock overturn is very fast
- 40:43connected to the
- 40:45no by country each country we have our
- 40:47own warehouse we split by country so
- 40:50every country runs on the same model we
- 40:52have a central warehouse and then all
- 40:53the stocks get drawn from the warehouse
- 40:56uh for all the different market places
- 40:58or website.
- 41:04Uh Indonesia,
- 41:05>> Malaysia, Philippines.
- 41:06>> Okay.
- 41:10Whatever you have, you rolling.
- 41:13>> Okay.
- 41:24Okay.
- 41:29Uh
- 41:32is it viable? You need I think I think
- 41:34being self financing yourself in the
- 41:36early years I think is important to
- 41:39understand whether you actually have a
- 41:41workable model. It's like a proof of
- 41:43concept. That's why banks do not loan
- 41:44money to new companies below the age of
- 41:46three years. with three years you know
- 41:48in operations because they don't have
- 41:49the financial credibility or the
- 41:52financial track record um I would
- 41:54suggest first three years you roll okay
- 41:57to see that first
- 41:58>> three years
- 41:58>> yeah until you build a credit standing a
- 42:00good credit scoring then you go to the
- 42:02banks for money
- 42:03>> okay
- 42:03>> so if a bank doesn't loan you money you
- 42:05need to look at yourself that means
- 42:07there's a problem with your business
- 42:09>> yeah because money if a good business
- 42:13always banks will come and lend you
- 42:14money banks will come after businesses
- 42:18who always offering money to businesses
- 42:20who are doing
- 42:28capital bank you have to reook into your
- 42:31business that means you have a problem I
- 42:33know it's very harsh
- 42:34>> but it's a fact if you want to know
- 42:36what's the ultimate litmus is whether
- 42:38the banks will lend you money
- 42:40>> whether you're a bankable business
- 42:41>> so your brand now Chrissy did that uh
- 42:44you're going to do it
- 42:46First is from ruling.
- 42:50And number two is from banks.
- 42:51>> Yes. Loan loan.
- 42:54>> Then number three are any investor
- 42:56invest in your business?
- 42:58>> Uh no. Don't don't no investors.
- 43:00>> No investors.
- 43:01>> 100% from you.
- 43:02>> Yeah.
- 43:02>> Yeah. How about
- 43:08you know invest in your business?
- 43:13Equity is the most expensive thing that
- 43:15you will ever give out.
- 43:16>> Okay?
- 43:17>> Equity is something that you will regret
- 43:19one day.
- 43:20>> Okay? If people going to come just with
- 43:22money, forget it. Wasting time. Money
- 43:25everywhere can get. You can go to banks.
- 43:27If the banks don't lend you, it means
- 43:29there's something wrong with you. So,
- 43:31think about you not you should not be
- 43:33focusing on investors. You should be
- 43:35focusing on what's wrong with your
- 43:36business. Why isn't your business
- 43:38bankable? Why you can't get a loan?
- 43:40What's the reason? What's wrong with
- 43:41your business?
- 43:43You need to if you can't get money from
- 43:44bank then you you need to study yourself
- 43:46again. Okay.
- 43:47>> Okay.
- 43:48>> So you can't get money from bank then
- 43:49you run into desperation. Then you look
- 43:51for investors. I think you're going to
- 43:52kill yourself.
- 43:53>> Yeah.
- 43:56>> And then yeah it's a very expensive
- 43:57loan. Equity is also loan but with a
- 44:00extremely high interest.
- 44:02>> Extremely high interest.
- 44:04>> Extremely high. When they want to get
- 44:05out you have to buy them out at how at
- 44:07what price?
- 44:08>> You have to give them dividend. How
- 44:10about some equities come with like
- 44:11coupons you have to pay them. They have
- 44:13to report to them every month. You
- 44:15really have no time to get your business
- 44:16done properly. You have to report to
- 44:18them and they don't know what you're
- 44:20doing and they tell you what to do and
- 44:21it's all wrong and it's get getting you
- 44:23deeper into the into the whole, you
- 44:25know,
- 44:31these are these are facts. This is facts
- 44:33based on my personal view. Everyone has
- 44:35a different opinion,
- 44:37>> but I know what I'm saying.
- 44:39Unless it's a strategic investor
- 44:41expertise.
- 44:42>> Yeah.
- 44:51That is totally different.
- 44:53>> Yeah. Now you're talking about I have no
- 44:55funds, I go to investor.
- 44:57>> Okay.
- 44:57>> Yeah. If the investor comes in with
- 44:59distribution points or network or
- 45:02channels you know they come in with
- 45:03knowhow they bring value to the table or
- 45:06value maybe they help you with
- 45:07manufacturing or they help you with like
- 45:09you know opening new markets operation
- 45:12or whatever yes please take that money
- 45:14that's smart money but don't go for
- 45:16stupid money like just take from anyone
- 45:18and like random people who do not even
- 45:20understand the mark understand the the
- 45:22business and this going to give you
- 45:23headache
- 45:24>> so M you own 100%
- 45:27your business. How about Indonesia?
- 45:31Uh,
- 45:31>> joint venture.
- 45:33>> Joint venture.
- 45:34>> Okay. Okay, fair enough. Okay. So,
- 45:37[Music]
- 45:41uh, you scale up
- 45:45>> from government. Yes.
- 45:46>> Okay. Can you tell us a bit?
- 45:50>> Uh, first cradle CIP 500.
- 45:54>> CIP 500. Ah okay.
- 46:02Yeah
- 46:08business startology
- 46:14for my
- 46:16company
- 46:18shoes and handbag company.
- 46:23Yeah.
- 46:23>> So you to expand your business
- 46:26>> for marketing for for marketing. Yeah.
- 46:28For advertising. So the grant you have
- 46:30to look at the utilization the criteria.
- 46:31So some grants they allow you to like
- 46:33use the money for building website. Some
- 46:35grants they let you use the money for
- 46:37advertising. Some grants let use the
- 46:39money for different things. You have to
- 46:41look at the what is allowable
- 46:44>> and then from there you claim
- 46:46>> so your first grant is from cradle
- 46:51cop 2.0. 3.0
- 46:58digitalization
- 47:07replatform to Shopify. Okay.
- 47:11Total
- 47:12like
- 47:15500
- 47:18total
- 47:25So to our listener please
- 47:29more than 1 million why don't you
- 47:32>> and I think for uh for Bumira there are
- 47:34even more grants
- 47:36>> because I'm I'm I'm I don't qualify
- 47:38there's super there is uh a lot you you
- 47:42just Google grants in Malaysia so for
- 47:44Bumira there's even more grants a lot
- 47:48more you can get even more
- 47:51>> you already mentioned about people,
- 47:53>> the tools and people. So
- 48:01you
- 48:03in your company
- 48:05>> they must be able to do the job.
- 48:07>> Okay,
- 48:07>> that's the preference. No, no, there's
- 48:10no preference. That is the criteria. You
- 48:12if you can't do the job, then you they
- 48:14how can we hire them? Yeah, you need to
- 48:16make sure that they are able to execute.
- 48:23I did a hiring myself early stage. Yes.
- 48:25>> Until
- 48:29senior position
- 48:32senior position head of department.
- 48:38>> Okay. So
- 48:44you
- 48:48Okay. So once they Okay.
- 48:51>> The the problem I see in so many
- 48:52businesses is they don't even know what
- 48:56they're doing. They they don't even know
- 48:58how to interview people properly. They
- 49:01just interview like total talk but
- 49:02there's no like no there's no real
- 49:04proper checking. So for us what we do is
- 49:07we we have um first of all we will give
- 49:10you uh before we even call you for the
- 49:12interview
- 49:13you need to finish uh our pre-in
- 49:16assessments. Okay. For instance, if you
- 49:18want to become our let's say content
- 49:21creator, one example,
- 49:23>> okay,
- 49:23>> cuz this position everyone applying with
- 49:25us every day.
- 49:27>> Every day,
- 49:27>> every day I got few hundred resume. I
- 49:29really
- 49:30>> few hundred resume.
- 49:35So, okay, example content creator.
- 49:37Everyone send us their resume. So, the
- 49:39next thing we'll ask them to do is send
- 49:42us a 60 seconds video showing us telling
- 49:45us why you're suitable for this role.
- 49:48And so from a hundred people that apply
- 49:51for that post, when I ask them to send
- 49:52me a 60-second video telling me why
- 49:55you're suitable, I tell you only 10 will
- 49:57come back
- 49:58>> all not serious.
- 50:01>> Okay? And then
- 50:02>> after the 10, I see which one pass,
- 50:04which one which one not don't really
- 50:06pass.
- 50:07>> Then the one that I filter, I'll ask
- 50:09them for another video. I'll say, "Uh,
- 50:12show me your style of content. give me a
- 50:14sample of the content that you will do
- 50:15if I employ you. Uh then from the 10
- 50:19half will not come back already. Okay.
- 50:22Then the five that come back they send
- 50:23me. Then from there I evaluate who is uh
- 50:26up to the feel is up to the standard who
- 50:28understands content. Then we then we
- 50:30give them another test. We ask them
- 50:32write a script for me about a certain
- 50:34topic
- 50:36and then they have to write the script
- 50:37and send back to me.
- 50:39uh after that I want you to so we can
- 50:41test their content creation, their
- 50:42ideation, their script writing, whether
- 50:44they can edit the video, whether they
- 50:46can meet deadline from there. You don't
- 50:48even need to see the face. You just
- 50:50don't even need to read resume. You send
- 50:52the test. I don't even read resume now.
- 50:53You know, I just send test only.
- 50:55>> They don't even come back.
- 50:57>> Yeah. So that's how we filter. It's
- 50:59called, you know, how to filter a
- 51:00candidate. So after they pass all our
- 51:02test, then only we will call you for a
- 51:05face tof face interview.
- 51:07So our content head will interview first
- 51:09and then she will she will see like
- 51:11whether you are suitable or not uh if
- 51:14she think suitable uh then only I will
- 51:16interview example and then if I think I
- 51:19want to hire I will offer subject to
- 51:22clearance that means we will check all
- 51:24your past employers your whether real or
- 51:26fake because we've been given so many
- 51:29fake rums
- 51:30>> portfolio or fake we will actually call
- 51:32the clients in your portfolio and ask
- 51:34them whether real or fake you know we do
- 51:37that one and we also when you interview
- 51:39us you give us consent to run a credit
- 51:42scoring a criminal check whether you got
- 51:44any police case before
- 51:46>> uh whether you got any um e masalai or
- 51:49muscle lock up before we need to check
- 51:50for that also
- 51:52>> um we're also implementing health
- 51:54screening before we hire
- 51:56>> and then we also call all your ex bosses
- 51:59to ask them about you
- 52:02>> uh and if you pass all those tests
- 52:03you're hired full-time position with
- 52:06benefits
- 52:07Yeah. So that's how we hire. So hiring
- 52:10is a process. I don't know how other
- 52:12people hire when they start complaining.
- 52:13Of course, even with all this process,
- 52:16I'm able to filter a very good candidate
- 52:18out.
- 52:19>> But it doesn't mean that I'm right also.
- 52:21Maybe six months, we still have this
- 52:24kind of case. But very rare
- 52:26>> because we really take the trouble to
- 52:28filter. So that is HR. So to me that so
- 52:31every position like even every single
- 52:33position we will test them even for
- 52:34photo retoucher there's three rounds of
- 52:36test
- 52:37>> photo
- 52:38>> example photo retoucher means retouch
- 52:40photograph
- 52:41>> okay
- 52:44promoter
- 52:45>> okay that one is handled by uh a retail
- 52:48head I only handle the HQ the management
- 52:52>> for retail we they we'll call you for
- 52:54interview call your ex employer same
- 52:56thing
- 52:57>> okay if you're fresh graduate then we
- 52:58have no employee to call fine
- 53:00>> but we will still run the background
- 53:02check whether you pay your PTPDN loan
- 53:04whether you pay your credit card bills
- 53:06your handphone because we our business
- 53:08involves a lot of cash so we we cannot
- 53:10have someone who has a lot of debt
- 53:13>> I see okay
- 53:14>> and we'll be surprised what we find with
- 53:16like we run secrets on uh people if you
- 53:18want to work for us you need to consent
- 53:20us to do a sequence check so we know
- 53:23whether they you know didn't pay their
- 53:24phone bill blacklisted AKPK we know
- 53:26everything went before we hire
- 53:33just
- 53:38exactly.
- 53:48Best of the best.
- 53:57resume.
- 54:04Growing
- 54:23we pay for all these tests. Yeah.
- 54:26And then we you once and the most
- 54:28important thing call the ex employer.
- 54:30Don't call the number that's written on
- 54:32the resume. Don't that one is all
- 54:34friends one. Don't
- 54:36>> call the call the person that re call
- 54:38the right person. Call the call the
- 54:40person that hired the the direct report
- 54:42or call the business owner. They will
- 54:43know one
- 54:44>> and ask.
- 54:45>> So you you you ask the candidate up
- 54:49business owner of your number or you you
- 54:51t the person.
- 54:52>> No, we will find ourself.
- 54:53>> We won't get from you.
- 54:54>> Okay. Okay. That is HR. This is my
- 54:56definition.
- 54:57>> Everyone got different style of doing.
- 54:59This is my style.
- 55:01>> Uh
- 55:02>> yeah, I totally agree.
- 55:06You need to do pre-checking.
- 55:08>> Yeah. Background check.
- 55:09>> Background check.
- 55:10>> You know when when you want to apply,
- 55:11everybody wants to like everyone will
- 55:13apply for marketing in our company.
- 55:15>> I send me six months marketing plan.
- 55:18When the minute I hire you, what's the
- 55:19first what is the what are you going to
- 55:21do the next six months you're here? Give
- 55:23me a plan. your plan. Tell me what
- 55:26you're going to do differently. How you
- 55:27going to do things better?
- 55:30>> I need the I need you to tell me how. If
- 55:32you cannot put your idea down on paper
- 55:34or on PowerPoint to send to me, I don't
- 55:37think I should hire you because you that
- 55:39means you cannot think. You cannot
- 55:40you're unable to articulate your
- 55:42actions.
- 55:42>> Yeah.
- 55:43>> So with this way of so whoever that I
- 55:46hire, they may look like like bup like
- 55:49that, but they all can do it.
- 55:51>> That's why they hired.
- 55:52>> Okay. The current team is it? Yeah, they
- 55:54just act they just act they they act I
- 55:56mean they they are really really fun but
- 55:59they all can do we don't hire people who
- 56:01cannot work one everyone is really
- 56:03really good we have a solid team
- 56:06>> the job the job is like you know they
- 56:08just they're just being themselves
- 56:09they're just fun and happy doesn't they
- 56:11all can work everyone that's working for
- 56:13us are all really really good they're
- 56:15all the best of the best
- 56:17>> yeah honestly the work business for how
- 56:21many many years
- 56:26Is it that bad experience?
- 56:29>> Every every every every entrepreneur
- 56:31will go through the same set of issues.
- 56:33Staff issues, human resource issues.
- 56:35There's always going to be someone who's
- 56:37not happy with you. You can't please
- 56:38everybody, you know.
- 56:40>> Yeah.
- 56:44Malaysia
- 56:51recruitment because
- 56:55crucial
- 56:56I think I think they don't understand uh
- 56:58how to a lot of people don't understand
- 57:00how to hire correctly
- 57:02>> that's why they they their problem like
- 57:04endless coming like like nonstop
- 57:09hiring
- 57:13is it
- 57:20Okay.
- 57:27Retail FM.
- 57:32So what's your comment on that?
- 57:34>> I think um
- 57:37so far we have no okay we have a lot of
- 57:40resumes every single day but whether the
- 57:42candidate is good or not different
- 57:44story. We need to filter um
- 57:49retail.
- 57:55>> So that's where you need to work on your
- 57:57employer branding.
- 57:59>> Yeah. Branding.
- 58:00>> Can you explain more about the employee
- 58:01branding?
- 58:02>> Employer branding is like okay if people
- 58:03do not know Christy, how are they going
- 58:05to apply for a job? They need to know
- 58:07who you are first. Correct.
- 58:09>> If for example, if they don't know what
- 58:10is funnel evil, how am I going to send a
- 58:12resume here when I don't know you exist?
- 58:14So employer branding is important,
- 58:16visibility as an employer, credibility
- 58:18as an employer. What do you stand for?
- 58:20What's your vision? Why I should work
- 58:22for you? Besides money, don't just tell
- 58:24me you can pay me high. Tell me that
- 58:26what what is your vision and does it
- 58:28align with my values? What are your
- 58:30values? I think that's very important.
- 58:33>> Like we have very clear vision and very
- 58:34clear values and we hire people who are
- 58:37in line with our values.
- 58:39>> So I believe
- 58:45Now we are talking about how can you um
- 58:48make sure value your value
- 58:53which is marketing.
- 58:55[Laughter]
- 58:58Okay.
- 59:04Tik Tok million viewers. So
- 59:10you
- 59:14just another
- 59:16video.
- 59:17>> When you talk about team, it means a
- 59:19group of people, right? What does a team
- 59:21mean? Group people. Everyone chips in.
- 59:24Even
- 59:33you know uh designer art director
- 59:36videographer
- 59:38editor
- 59:43service
- 59:47so everyone contributes
- 59:49everyone can send an idea and then we
- 59:52chat together and then we discuss the
- 59:53idea. and we shoot together.
- 59:56Even our our logistics people, our
- 59:58warehouse team also we punching them to
- 1:00:00do uh content when the character we feel
- 1:00:03this one asked this guy to do call him.
- 1:00:05Hey come now, come now. Come now
- 1:00:08come. Okay, say this now.
- 1:00:11Yeah, it's teamwork and uh everyone is
- 1:00:13in a content even drivers.
- 1:00:16Yeah, everyone works together. So that's
- 1:00:18why I say team work. That's why you need
- 1:00:20to have really really strong team spirit
- 1:00:23>> because we are we are not like
- 1:00:24multinational companies where we can
- 1:00:26afford like one person one job
- 1:00:29>> so my team they do multiple jobs
- 1:00:35water plants cut the like the office
- 1:00:38dirty have to help to clean you know of
- 1:00:40course we have cleaner but we we share
- 1:00:43the workload you know sometimes like um
- 1:00:47like something spoiled They also help me
- 1:00:49to fix. It's just a like you know it's
- 1:00:52like a family where you just do your
- 1:00:53mother ask you fix this spoil then you
- 1:00:55just do
- 1:00:56>> it's a lot of teamwork and a lot of like
- 1:00:59understanding tolerance
- 1:01:02okay
- 1:01:04is one thing
- 1:01:05>> to make sure
- 1:01:08work together
- 1:01:12that's why that's why I say so how
- 1:01:14>> vision is that culture
- 1:01:15>> vision is very important what is your
- 1:01:17vision if everyone shares the same
- 1:01:20vision Even me and you, we can have a
- 1:01:22disagreement now, but we both want the
- 1:01:24same thing. Correct? So we when we both
- 1:01:27have the same vision, we have the same
- 1:01:28goals, eventually we'll find middle
- 1:01:30ground. We'll work together. Even though
- 1:01:32I don't like your method, you don't like
- 1:01:33my method, but we both want the same
- 1:01:35thing. And we know to get there, we have
- 1:01:38to work together. So working together is
- 1:01:40not something that I take a cane and
- 1:01:43say,
- 1:01:46it's not like that. They're all adults,
- 1:01:47you know. only in the video I do that
- 1:01:49but in real life they're adults so we do
- 1:01:53not uh we do not uh it's that's why I
- 1:01:56say value and goals we both want the
- 1:01:58same thing we then we eventually
- 1:02:00teamwork is part and parcel even if I
- 1:02:02quarrel with or have a disagreement with
- 1:02:04someone later we can have dinner
- 1:02:06together because we are friends it
- 1:02:07doesn't mean that I quar I we we talk
- 1:02:10loud a bit with each other because of
- 1:02:11something it doesn't mean that we're not
- 1:02:14happy each other we still chill we still
- 1:02:16eat dinner together we still go hang out
- 1:02:17together one like nothing happened. It's
- 1:02:19because the goals are so clear. The
- 1:02:22vision is so clear.
- 1:02:23>> So what is your vision?
- 1:02:26>> The vision is to be
- 1:02:29a Malaysian brand that
- 1:02:31to be all across Southeast Asia. That's
- 1:02:33the vision. Yeah. To be
- 1:02:37a really really
- 1:02:39successful shoe and handbag brand. A
- 1:02:42brand that makes a difference for
- 1:02:44people. A brand where people feel sees
- 1:02:46value. You know you buying
- 1:02:56so
- 1:03:11make make all these beautiful products
- 1:03:14high quality beautiful products that
- 1:03:16people can they don't feel intimidated.
- 1:03:19They can walk in feeling excited and
- 1:03:21leave the store feeling more eager to
- 1:03:23come back.
- 1:03:24>> You know that we don't want
- 1:03:32happy
- 1:03:37and we believe that good quality
- 1:03:39products are don't need to be expensive.
- 1:03:42It can be very affordable. So we we want
- 1:03:44to be the ultimate equalizer in the
- 1:03:46industry
- 1:03:47>> across across the board. Whether you are
- 1:03:49from very rich background or very poor
- 1:03:51background, whether this is your first
- 1:03:53paycheck
- 1:03:55or you saved up all your money just to
- 1:03:57buy our product,
- 1:03:58>> you will still find joy in owning it and
- 1:04:00and find full use and purpose having it.
- 1:04:04>> So that's the vision. And we want to be
- 1:04:05all across Southeast Asia. We want to be
- 1:04:08we're already in Indonesia. Um we're in
- 1:04:10the midst of expansion. We have a few
- 1:04:13more stores coming soon. Uh our first
- 1:04:15store in the Philippines will be opening
- 1:04:17October this year.
- 1:04:18>> Oh, okay. Yeah, it's hed up already.
- 1:04:20Yeah. Okay. I just want to go deep.
- 1:04:38Do you face that kind of team in Gen Z
- 1:04:41or your team?
- 1:04:59experience.
- 1:05:04How you hire?
- 1:05:06>> That's the problem when you when you
- 1:05:08complain about Gen Z can't do this.
- 1:05:09Don't forget we were Gen Z before. So
- 1:05:11last time they say millennials are like
- 1:05:13>> Yeah. Millennials
- 1:05:15Gen X.
- 1:05:16>> Yeah.
- 1:05:17>> We were once the Gen Z. We were
- 1:05:19millennials and everyone above us was
- 1:05:22will say ah this oh cannot auty tissue
- 1:05:24strawberry. Now we are the older ones
- 1:05:28and the the younger gen Z's, the gen
- 1:05:31alphas are coming out.
- 1:05:34>> It's never about the generation.
- 1:05:35>> It's not about the generation. It's
- 1:05:37about the mentality and how you hire.
- 1:05:39That's why I said how do you hire? When
- 1:05:41you have complaints like that, it means
- 1:05:43that your hiring process is seriously
- 1:05:45flawed.
- 1:05:47>> So when people complain, I
- 1:05:50I I mean like do you understand what's
- 1:05:52your problem?
- 1:06:17Okay. So, I throw anything there, they
- 1:06:20can fix it.
- 1:06:21They're smart and they are able to move
- 1:06:23very very very fast. So for me I think
- 1:06:25genz's are really good hires. It's just
- 1:06:27my experience. Yeah I'm sure depend know
- 1:06:31people say depend on luck. Yes to a
- 1:06:33certain percentage is luck.
- 1:06:35>> 20% luck the process is what
- 1:06:39gives you a better chance of getting a
- 1:06:41better employee. So are you doing your
- 1:06:43hiring process correctly? If you have a
- 1:06:45lot of if people complain complain
- 1:06:46complain complain about their stuff.
- 1:06:48First is the hiring process. Second is
- 1:06:51the culture.
- 1:06:53>> Culture is because you hire all the bad
- 1:06:56people, all the rotten apples in the
- 1:06:58basket spoils your culture. That's why I
- 1:07:00say the hiring is so hire slow, fire
- 1:07:03fast, you know, because if you get one
- 1:07:06rotten apple, honcho, your culture, your
- 1:07:08vision, mission all bye-bye. Yeah.
- 1:07:10>> You know,
- 1:07:11>> so that's what I'm trying to say. A lot
- 1:07:13of problems because of hiring. HR is so
- 1:07:16important.
- 1:07:17based on the study of my team
- 1:07:20regarding about the team.
- 1:07:23Okay. Few years back.
- 1:07:37Yeah.
- 1:07:46Okay.
- 1:07:51>> We didn't hire correctly. Okay.
- 1:07:59Interns don't report to me.
- 1:08:02>> Okay.
- 1:08:05>> Yeah. Yes. That's why that's why uh so
- 1:08:09when so basically
- 1:08:16our our type of work doesn't suit her.
- 1:08:19>> So um backbone
- 1:08:24so I put
- 1:08:30[Music]
- 1:08:35[Laughter]
- 1:08:48Okay, I cannot argue.
- 1:09:03Okay. Okay.
- 1:09:16Serious
- 1:09:25[Music]
- 1:09:29insurance.
- 1:09:41resign. So I mean
- 1:09:48just like you know just excuses and
- 1:09:50stuff like that very demotivated don't
- 1:09:52don't feel like coming to the office
- 1:09:55>> and then don't want to quit because have
- 1:09:56to pass the exam or I'm not sure. So
- 1:09:59when this happened then um she ranted on
- 1:10:02she ranted on on on social media and
- 1:10:04then of course
- 1:10:06>> um
- 1:10:06>> nizen
- 1:10:06>> nizen you know not every you come some
- 1:10:08people will think oh this is a horrible
- 1:10:10boss she torture her intern
- 1:10:14we pay that time we pay our interns 800
- 1:10:16ringgit a month you know
- 1:10:18>> that's a lot
- 1:10:18>> yeah in 2017 yeah
- 1:10:21>> and then then was when they when we
- 1:10:23going to kacham so there when you're
- 1:10:24going to kacham right there's always two
- 1:10:26two sides of it yeah so a Oh, so where
- 1:10:30first I was so I was like so upset, you
- 1:10:32know. I say, "Wow, this is my first time
- 1:10:33going to Kam. I don't know what to
- 1:10:34expect."
- 1:10:35>> Oh, this is the first time you're going
- 1:10:35to jump.
- 1:10:36>> First time.
- 1:10:36>> Not because of the product, but because
- 1:10:38of the intern.
- 1:10:39>> Yes. Yes. So then I like I didn't know
- 1:10:43how to manage it. Then I was, wow, I'm
- 1:10:46getting so much web traffic. My so
- 1:10:49people from don't know my brand know my
- 1:10:50brand because of the viral case. Before
- 1:10:52that, no one knows me. Then wow, a lot
- 1:10:54of people know me from this intern.
- 1:10:55Okay. Wow. Sales going up.
- 1:10:57>> Wow. Everybody jump the sale the traffic
- 1:11:00went up like crazy
- 1:11:02>> and then the sales went up
- 1:11:04>> because you got good product people buy
- 1:11:06right they don't care about whether the
- 1:11:08product is good or whether I I I broke
- 1:11:10the intern's backbone is a different
- 1:11:12story right correct
- 1:11:14>> people got brain right
- 1:11:15>> so they a lot the sales went up then
- 1:11:18after I started getting a lot of resume
- 1:11:20you know then I said uh
- 1:11:25life.
- 1:11:33The other people sent me email.
- 1:11:48house.
- 1:11:51>> So, so it's a it's a perspective, you
- 1:11:54know, to to me to her maybe I'm the
- 1:11:56worst uh person in the world, you know,
- 1:11:58she hates to come to my office, come to
- 1:12:00work.
- 1:12:01>> Uh that's her that to her. But to to
- 1:12:03other to others, oh, I'm very happy to
- 1:12:05work you. I like oh I can I like to also
- 1:12:09go and then go some email me and say
- 1:12:15good people apply job so when people
- 1:12:19there's always people who support and
- 1:12:21then got one person right there
- 1:12:29cheap labor
- 1:12:33[Laughter]
- 1:12:36So it's a perspective. You can look at
- 1:12:37the glass half full or half half empty.
- 1:12:40>> Correct. Not
- 1:12:40>> correct.
- 1:12:41>> To to her to some people k but a lot of
- 1:12:43people want to work for us.
- 1:12:45>> Yeah. They they say well you well you go
- 1:12:47you provide uh you provide food in your
- 1:12:49office or so. Wow. I want to work there.
- 1:12:51Never mind I can carry I can carry the
- 1:12:53heavy item. Yeah. You get what I mean?
- 1:13:04Yeah. So there's a perspective. A lot of
- 1:13:06people also uh uh say very unpleasant
- 1:13:09things to me. They say like well you you
- 1:13:11really don't care about your staff's
- 1:13:12health. You're feeding them junk food.
- 1:13:14They will get diabetes. They will get
- 1:13:15high blood pressure. They will get high
- 1:13:16attack. People also talk bad about me
- 1:13:18because of the pantry. And then some say
- 1:13:20oh sugar there's no nutrition. People so
- 1:13:24still talk bad about me. Why you never
- 1:13:25give your stuff a balanced diet? So
- 1:13:27suddenly it becomes my responsibility to
- 1:13:29give balanced diet. So whatever I do
- 1:13:31there's always people who are whatever
- 1:13:33we do not only me even you you cannot
- 1:13:35please everybody someone will not agree
- 1:13:37so depending on how you look at the
- 1:13:39issue at hand. Yeah. Perspective.
- 1:13:42>> There's always perspective.
- 1:13:43>> Yeah. Perspective.
- 1:13:47>> So,
- 1:13:47>> because a lot of people don't don't
- 1:13:49agree with her perspective. Of course,
- 1:13:50there are a lot of people who disagree
- 1:13:52with with with me, agree with her.
- 1:13:55>> But a lot of people agree with there's
- 1:13:56always people who have the share the
- 1:13:58same opinion as me. And it's okay to
- 1:13:59have differences of opinion. This is a
- 1:14:02democratic country, democratic world.
- 1:14:04You can have a different opinion with
- 1:14:05me.
- 1:14:05>> Let's talk about so how you handle
- 1:14:15perspective. You as a person
- 1:14:19know
- 1:14:33you experience
- 1:14:48uh stress,
- 1:14:51depression,
- 1:15:03warrior account to list
- 1:15:10fake account
- 1:15:13have something uh you don't agree with
- 1:15:15me you have something bad to say about
- 1:15:17me use your real account show me who you
- 1:15:20are tell me what I do wrong have a
- 1:15:22discussion we can talk correct or not
- 1:15:25>> yeah if you use a fake account and bash
- 1:15:26me why should I be upset
- 1:15:30>> in real life they don't even dare to
- 1:15:31come and talk to me
- 1:15:33>> that's why they have to use a fake Oh,
- 1:15:35so I I'm not affected. I really am not.
- 1:15:38>> So you
- 1:15:42can write and I don't delete all these
- 1:15:44comments. So I
- 1:15:47can delete diplomatic diplomatic
- 1:15:50>> democratic. Yes.
- 1:15:52>> You cannot please everyone and they're
- 1:15:54all fake accounts. What can I what can
- 1:15:56you dorepreneur?
- 1:16:01One of the criteria
- 1:16:19I believe
- 1:16:21is like ups and down,
- 1:16:29you know.
- 1:16:38How you motivate yourself?
- 1:16:47How you motivate yourself?
- 1:16:50You okay?
- 1:16:52>> Okay. But how you motivate yourself
- 1:16:54every single day?
- 1:17:02Are you okay?
- 1:17:26Netflix.
- 1:17:36You just
- 1:17:58talk to them. Ask them what's wrong.
- 1:18:00What's causing you to feel this way?
- 1:18:02Okay. What's causing you to uh what's
- 1:18:04triggering you to have all these
- 1:18:05negative thoughts? Why you like not on
- 1:18:08form? Okay.
- 1:18:14Expect hurry content. There's no such
- 1:18:16thing.
- 1:18:17>> Even myself.
- 1:18:19>> Yes. They are humans. They can be lazy
- 1:18:21today. They don't feel like coming to
- 1:18:22work. It's totally human.
- 1:18:24>> I I myself also feel lazy sometimes. So
- 1:18:27what more them right? Correct. Not. So
- 1:18:29just need to understand and you know
- 1:18:30it's called tolerance give and take.
- 1:18:33>> Yeah. You need to give and take and find
- 1:18:34out what's making them what's usually
- 1:18:36it's usually when they have something
- 1:18:38exciting to work on because they're all
- 1:18:39very okay. They're all very passionate
- 1:18:41people. My people are my team are very
- 1:18:43passionate.
- 1:18:44>> So when you're driven by passion
- 1:18:45>> you don't need you don't need your boss
- 1:18:47to like take a cane and motivate you.
- 1:18:49>> Of course I still need to motivate them
- 1:18:51once in a while. But they're deep
- 1:18:53they're generally very passionate
- 1:18:54people. They love what they do, you
- 1:18:56know, and they want to create make a
- 1:18:57difference, make a name for themselves.
- 1:18:59Also, they want to they want to showcase
- 1:19:01their talents. They want to create
- 1:19:03something that's significant, you know.
- 1:19:05They love, you know, when a content gets
- 1:19:06like millions of views, they're very
- 1:19:08very happy. One, they're damn happy. So,
- 1:19:10that's that's their personal
- 1:19:12achievement. See, it's my idea 1 million
- 1:19:14views. So, it's they're self motivated.
- 1:19:16I don't need to
- 1:19:18>> I don't push them
- 1:19:19>> but certain things I have to push are
- 1:19:21like maybe deadline not done for the
- 1:19:23more other stuff but overall they
- 1:19:25motivate themsel
- 1:19:29>> if I see them like so depressed like
- 1:19:31like not working well I bring you go eat
- 1:19:33what you want to eat
- 1:19:34>> okay all right so anything else
- 1:19:40so I I think for
- 1:19:45collabor
- 1:19:46Yeah. Collaboration because you can
- 1:19:48collaborate with So
- 1:19:52>> collaboration too. And uh
- 1:19:54>> how do you choose your collaboration
- 1:19:55partner?
- 1:19:56>> Yes.
- 1:19:57>> Um
- 1:19:59we we work with brands that share the
- 1:20:01same values and we work with brands that
- 1:20:03um that we see uh synergistic um
- 1:20:08appeals similar. Uh whether the target
- 1:20:11audience is not really an issue because
- 1:20:12we always want to expand our base. So we
- 1:20:14love to work with brands which expose us
- 1:20:16to a new set of customer base.
- 1:20:19>> How do I choose? Um
- 1:20:26>> do they approach you? You want to
- 1:20:27approach you or you approach
- 1:20:34[Music]
- 1:20:37then up.
- 1:20:42Okay. Yeah.
- 1:20:52[Music]
- 1:20:56Okay.
- 1:20:57Some uh I give you example like who uh
- 1:21:02dinner. Hey can you do this for me? Uh I
- 1:21:05want to do this unisex bag for men can
- 1:21:07put handphone inside and women also can
- 1:21:09use. Okay do tomorrow I send you my
- 1:21:12logo. You help me do some sketch uh some
- 1:21:15sample sample can. What I do for you
- 1:21:18then? Oh I want to buy sell in my 400
- 1:21:20cafes. Okay. Uh
- 1:21:25no formal meeting
- 1:21:29formal meeting to discuss the rolling
- 1:21:30out details. But the topline ideas they
- 1:21:32all come very natural or topline ideas
- 1:21:34we just have like a discussion. Yeah.
- 1:21:37Can you do this? Okay. How you going to
- 1:21:39sell it? What's your price point? Uh how
- 1:21:42you want to do it? Uh when launch that's
- 1:21:44it.
- 1:21:49So means
- 1:22:00event
- 1:22:05some some of they messaged me on
- 1:22:06LinkedIn some messaged me on Instagram
- 1:22:09asked me to you know can give me a
- 1:22:11number I got an idea I want to want to
- 1:22:12discuss you if you're okay or not then
- 1:22:14you just send my number and then they
- 1:22:15call me hey I want to do a collection
- 1:22:17for okay what you may do okay do this
- 1:22:20this cannot then okay
- 1:22:23>> it's not it's not that complicated I
- 1:22:25don't know why people it's not
- 1:22:27complicated but of course the planning
- 1:22:29is meticulous it's not complicated it is
- 1:22:32detailed very detailed planning the
- 1:22:34execution has to be very on point has to
- 1:22:36be structured it has to be seamless but
- 1:22:39there's execution but
- 1:22:40>> if if the brand wants to work with you
- 1:22:42they will make it happen one you don't
- 1:22:43need to think too much
- 1:22:45>> if of course you must deliver results.
- 1:22:47You must have substance. You must
- 1:22:49produce good products, good quality. You
- 1:22:51know what you're doing. It will happen.
- 1:22:53>> So, you collab
- 1:22:57>> effect
- 1:22:59your your sales
- 1:23:00>> better than no collab.
- 1:23:01>> Better than collapse.
- 1:23:09>> Yeah.
- 1:23:11>> Yeah. It's not complicated.
- 1:23:14>> Yeah.
- 1:23:15>> Yeah. for you. It's not complicated, but
- 1:23:31of course
- 1:23:34[Music]
- 1:23:37I think I think why uh all these
- 1:23:39questions right and all this kind of
- 1:23:41like um they think it's complicated and
- 1:23:42stuff like that right is because they
- 1:23:44don't they know they they haven't gotten
- 1:23:47their product right. They haven't got
- 1:23:49their thing act to they haven't got
- 1:23:51their act right. It's completely fine if
- 1:23:53your product is not up to standard yet.
- 1:23:55Then in that case you shouldn't be
- 1:23:57thinking of collaborating people. You
- 1:23:59should be thinking of getting your house
- 1:24:00in order first. Getting your product
- 1:24:02fundamentals. When your fundamentals are
- 1:24:04strong, everyone wants to work with you.
- 1:24:06It's because your fundamentals are all
- 1:24:07shaky. That's why you think it's
- 1:24:09complicated. Is this is that is because
- 1:24:11your product got problem? Your service
- 1:24:13got problem. Okay, let me give you one
- 1:24:15example.
- 1:24:17>> Okay, there is uh some some some
- 1:24:20entrepreneurs are my friends and as I
- 1:24:24have a passion in helping startups.
- 1:24:26Yeah, I try to help a lot of people and
- 1:24:29I I try to help a lot of startups. They
- 1:24:30come to me for advice.
- 1:24:34Sometimes they don't want to listen.
- 1:24:36That's it.
- 1:24:37>> They're just wasting time money because
- 1:24:39you tell them what to do. You tell them
- 1:24:40the answer. I'm not ordering that. tell
- 1:24:42them what what is the solution they
- 1:24:44still want to dig want to make themsel
- 1:24:46in more dig their hole and make
- 1:24:47themselves more trouble then I can't do
- 1:24:49anything
- 1:24:50>> they're adults already so I give you
- 1:24:51example so there's this girl okay she's
- 1:24:55a very very good friend of mine
- 1:24:57>> so she started a FnB business
- 1:25:03the product of course as a friend I very
- 1:25:06b I will go and support support that's
- 1:25:07what friends are for right support that
- 1:25:09taste a product I say babe your food is
- 1:25:11really not good. You better fix your
- 1:25:14quality.
- 1:25:16It's really really bad. And I didn't
- 1:25:18order one thing in the menu. I order a
- 1:25:20few things in the menu. I say, "Hey,
- 1:25:21you're you you you you're charging so
- 1:25:23much, but I only get a plastic spoon
- 1:25:26>> and or like a like I'm getting like the
- 1:25:28pastas malam standard like those
- 1:25:30takeaway coffee shop plastic spoon."
- 1:25:32>> But this coffee shop, you are in a
- 1:25:34shopping mall and charging me so much.
- 1:25:37>> How can you This is the It doesn't
- 1:25:39correlate. It doesn't make sense. Even
- 1:25:40though I'm your friend
- 1:25:43and I want you to earn my money, I want
- 1:25:45to support you.
- 1:25:47Your product, your food is very bad. It
- 1:25:50tastes horrible and you're giving
- 1:25:51plastics to spoon and serving on plastic
- 1:25:53disposable plates in a shopping mall and
- 1:25:56charging such a high price. These are
- 1:25:57factual stuff, right?
- 1:25:59>> Yeah.
- 1:25:59>> I'm a friend. I tell you improve
- 1:26:03>> this is they say this then she never she
- 1:26:05does totally don't care about what I
- 1:26:07say. I go there so many times the food
- 1:26:09just getting worse and worse and worse
- 1:26:10and worse. Okay.
- 1:26:12And then her food is worse. She like
- 1:26:15example she start with 10 things on the
- 1:26:17menu. The food keep getting worse. She
- 1:26:20and the of course the sales drop because
- 1:26:21of why? Because the food is not good.
- 1:26:23And
- 1:26:25>> she think no it's because I need to have
- 1:26:27more things on my menu. She going 30
- 1:26:30items on her menu.
- 1:26:32>> Right.
- 1:26:32>> Yeah.
- 1:26:32>> Your basic already cannot do properly.
- 1:26:34She go add on all these other food which
- 1:26:37her core food of the business cannot
- 1:26:40even get it right. She go add on another
- 1:26:4120 different things on menu. Then she
- 1:26:44come to me and say, "Oh, I'm very
- 1:26:46stressed. I can't get bank loan. I can't
- 1:26:48get this. I can't get that. Can you
- 1:26:50intro me all the grant?" I said, "I can
- 1:26:52intro you. Go ahead." But I don't think
- 1:26:54the grant also you will get because your
- 1:26:56call is so weak. You're not addressing
- 1:26:59the the problem here.
- 1:27:01>> The problem that you are facing. You're
- 1:27:02in a denial. you're in denial. She said,
- 1:27:05"No, babe. My problem is marketing. I
- 1:27:08need your help to promote." I say, "Hey,
- 1:27:10um, I've been helping you to post and
- 1:27:12promote." And the product is bad. People
- 1:27:15are not coming back. And she say, "Oh,
- 1:27:18no. I need to do uh marketing. I need to
- 1:27:20find influencer." I said, "Babe, you
- 1:27:21bring the influencer eat here. Tastes
- 1:27:23like crap. You think it's going to be
- 1:27:25worse on you because your fundamental is
- 1:27:27so weak." Then she said, "No, it's my
- 1:27:29marketing." Okay. Oh, don't listen to
- 1:27:30me. Fine.
- 1:27:31>> Then you know she did. She go open a
- 1:27:33bigger restaurant and have like 50
- 1:27:36things now in the on the menu. She's
- 1:27:38like piling more and more
- 1:27:41crap on herself, right? She's piling
- 1:27:43more and more. She doesn't understand
- 1:27:45her problem. She think her problem is
- 1:27:47marketing. She think her problem is like
- 1:27:49not enough of uh choices on the menu.
- 1:27:52>> She think her problem is because her she
- 1:27:53doesn't have a big restaurant.
- 1:27:55>> But actually the problem is her food
- 1:27:56sucks. But she doesn't know it. I I I
- 1:27:58tell her but she not doesn't know it.
- 1:27:59She doesn't want to accept it. Yeah.
- 1:28:01>> So she thinks it's everything else
- 1:28:03except that. So So the moral of the
- 1:28:04story here is
- 1:28:06>> if you don't get your fundamentals
- 1:28:07right, no one can help you.
- 1:28:10>> Yeah. You only can help yourself.
- 1:28:11>> Yeah.
- 1:28:12>> So this is entrepreneurship.
- 1:28:13>> So you ask me why some businesses can't
- 1:28:15get grant. Yeah. You know they don't
- 1:28:17even apply the form not complete.
- 1:28:19>> You know fundamentals not right. Get
- 1:28:21what? You can't even look in yourself in
- 1:28:24the mirror and find out what you see
- 1:28:27your problem. You know and the issue is
- 1:28:28this. You don't even know what you know
- 1:28:30and what you don't know.
- 1:28:32>> So a lot of them are in trouble because
- 1:28:34of this. Their fundamentals are not
- 1:28:35strong. So when once your fundamentals
- 1:28:37are strong, every brand wants to work
- 1:28:39with you. Correct.
- 1:28:41>> Correct.
- 1:28:41>> You don't look for them. They come and
- 1:28:43look for you because you have substance.
- 1:28:44You deliver consistency and good quality
- 1:28:47products or service. Everyone wants to
- 1:28:49work with you.
- 1:28:51She she think so that friend she thinks
- 1:28:53that oh if I collaborate with all these
- 1:28:55big brands that you know, can I
- 1:28:57collaborate with your brand? Uh I said,
- 1:28:59"Babe, fix the food. Fix the food." Oh,
- 1:29:02how she say, "Oh, it must be very
- 1:29:03difficult. You collaborate all these big
- 1:29:05brands." I said, "Babe, I have a proper
- 1:29:09product which is good quality and good
- 1:29:11price."
- 1:29:12>> And I have a proper service and a system
- 1:29:14in place.
- 1:29:15>> Yours even is all over the place.
- 1:29:18>> You know, you're not even managing your
- 1:29:20wastages, your food, your perishables
- 1:29:22are all not being managed well. The food
- 1:29:24is so horrible. how you want brand to
- 1:29:27come and work with you. Agree.
- 1:29:30>> So this is the problem people when they
- 1:29:31think it's complicated is because their
- 1:29:32fundamentals are not right. So that's
- 1:29:34the story I want to share today.
- 1:29:57video. Okay.
- 1:30:02[Music]
- 1:30:12uh how you defend yourself or
- 1:30:17>> um I think fashion is repeats itself you
- 1:30:22know trends come and go you know like
- 1:30:24something that was in trend 10 years ago
- 1:30:26is suddenly in trend now again
- 1:30:28>> you know and if you observe a lot of
- 1:30:32brands you know like handbag is a
- 1:30:33handbag it has handles the shape the
- 1:30:36silhouette is all
- 1:30:51Yeah. So, okay. So I believe that you
- 1:30:54know this is 2025 you know the world is
- 1:30:57so advanced you know there's Pinterest
- 1:30:58there's internet there's like uh so many
- 1:31:02knowledge sharing platforms you know so
- 1:31:04social media
- 1:31:06there's nothing truly truly original or
- 1:31:09first of its kind anymore in the world
- 1:31:11of design everything has been taken
- 1:31:13inspiration from you know history or
- 1:31:15from culture or from you know a trend
- 1:31:18you know and I know in fashion we have
- 1:31:20something called WGSN
- 1:31:22>> mm which is a a trend forecast uh
- 1:31:24subscription service where they forecast
- 1:31:26colors, trends, silhouettes, shapes.
- 1:31:30Everyone is using the same it's really
- 1:31:31the go-to guide guide uh for for fashion
- 1:31:36fashion trend anal analysis.
- 1:31:39>> So if you
- 1:31:41if you go walk in the shopping mall
- 1:31:43today, you walk through many many
- 1:31:44different shops, handbag shops, right?
- 1:31:46You see all the bigang
- 1:31:49>> correct?
- 1:31:49>> Yeah. So the ones that say that I copy
- 1:31:57I don't know how I mean you know
- 1:31:58>> Yeah.
- 1:31:59>> I can't do I can't do anything.
- 1:32:01>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:32:01>> I I'm giving my customers what they
- 1:32:03want. I'm an entrepreneur
- 1:32:05>> you know.
- 1:32:06>> It's you know it's supply and demand
- 1:32:08>> you know and if customers want this this
- 1:32:11particular shape we have as an as a as
- 1:32:14an entrepreneur we have to answer to the
- 1:32:16market demand.
- 1:32:17>> Yeah.
- 1:32:17>> For that shape for that color.
- 1:32:27business.
- 1:32:38Just kidding. Just kidding. So, what's
- 1:32:40your
- 1:32:47Antara entrepreneuring
- 1:32:50second Ramay I agree there are more male
- 1:32:53entrepreneurs than female entrepreneurs
- 1:32:55but I know of many very very good female
- 1:32:57entrepreneurs
- 1:33:01um
- 1:33:02women actually make very good leaders
- 1:33:04like my my key leadership team with a
- 1:33:07lot of females inside and I'm a female
- 1:33:09leader myself
- 1:33:11why because they priorit uh because it's
- 1:33:14sometimes it's how do I put it
- 1:33:19Women are in a very difficult position
- 1:33:21compared to men. You know, we have to be
- 1:33:23mothers. We have to care for the family.
- 1:33:26We have to care for our parents. It's
- 1:33:28always the woman shouldering all this
- 1:33:29responsibility. This is this is uh
- 1:33:33people always expect the women to cook,
- 1:33:34to clean, you know, take care of the
- 1:33:36kids, you know.
- 1:33:37>> Even in Chinese culture somewhere,
- 1:33:39>> same
- 1:33:40>> same. I I I I think it's the same. Just
- 1:33:43this is my opinion. doesn't represent
- 1:33:45what everyone else disclaimer. Yes.
- 1:33:47>> You know, and and
- 1:33:49it's so it's so hard being a woman
- 1:33:51sometimes because you have to juggle
- 1:33:52between so many different
- 1:33:54responsibilities,
- 1:33:55you know,
- 1:33:57and I really have very high respect for
- 1:33:59women. And I think if women were not
- 1:34:02expected to do so many things like like
- 1:34:04cook clean do everything is under them
- 1:34:06you know they will conquer the world
- 1:34:08already
- 1:34:09>> because expectation is placed on them to
- 1:34:12do all these things you know when the
- 1:34:13there's no more milk in the fridge you
- 1:34:15always ask the woman why there's no milk
- 1:34:16in the fridge you don't ask the man hey
- 1:34:18why you never go buy the milk correct
- 1:34:20it's the culture it's society that make
- 1:34:23women have so many things to do until
- 1:34:25they can't do anything else this is what
- 1:34:27I think personal opinion
- 1:34:29So women make extremely good
- 1:34:31entrepreneurs and I've known so many
- 1:34:32extremely capable and amazing women
- 1:34:36entrepreneurs.
- 1:34:37>> Okay.
- 1:34:37>> Just that it's the support. So I think
- 1:34:39women need support. The support system
- 1:34:41is so important like you know you need
- 1:34:44you need help. You know you may need
- 1:34:46like uh you need be bake. You know you
- 1:34:48need maybe need a domestic helper to
- 1:34:49help you to iron the clothes. you need a
- 1:34:52personal assistant to help you to get
- 1:34:54the milk in the fridge and things like
- 1:34:56that because you only have 24 hours a
- 1:34:58day and you're spreading yourself too
- 1:34:59thin. So women always put themselves
- 1:35:00last. They always put others first and
- 1:35:03that's why they're not in business
- 1:35:04because they put their family first,
- 1:35:05they put their husband first, they put
- 1:35:07their kids first. So they they they
- 1:35:09because of all this they cannot chase
- 1:35:10their dreams, you know, because
- 1:35:14they they prioritize everyone else
- 1:35:15besides them. Having said that, there
- 1:35:18are still a lot of very good female
- 1:35:19leaders who are very successful and I
- 1:35:22hope to see more females step up and and
- 1:35:24do business, you know, but I think what
- 1:35:26what women need is help, support, help
- 1:35:29in the sense like get them uh you know,
- 1:35:31maybe help them to ease the the work
- 1:35:33like get the workload like
- 1:35:38help. Yeah, you need assistance to to do
- 1:35:41>> things, you know,
- 1:35:42>> work life balance. Do you believe with
- 1:35:44work life balance? I believe in work
- 1:35:46life integration.
- 1:35:47>> Work life integration. Explain it.
- 1:35:50>> Explain. I think that you first of all
- 1:35:52work takes up a lot of your time and
- 1:35:53takes up a lot of your life. You must do
- 1:35:55something you love. If you love what you
- 1:35:57do, it's like not having to work a
- 1:35:59single day of your life.
- 1:36:00>> Yeah. So like
- 1:36:03uh some of my my my some of my people
- 1:36:05they you know example they love to
- 1:36:07design products or they love to create
- 1:36:09content.
- 1:36:11I ask them come on Saturday and Sunday.
- 1:36:13Okay. We have something to do. Oh, this
- 1:36:15idea is hot. Let's come now and shoot
- 1:36:17now before it's our trend. I'm coming
- 1:36:19now. You know, it's the enthusiasm, the
- 1:36:22love and the passion for what you do
- 1:36:24that makes it so meaningful and and that
- 1:36:26is your life also. That's big part of
- 1:36:28your life.
- 1:36:29>> So, next question.
- 1:36:32Fashion
- 1:36:40business.
- 1:36:44Yes, I agree. Agree. So,
- 1:36:51you handle
- 1:36:55fashions
- 1:36:58that problem.
- 1:37:01Yeah. How you
- 1:37:05know?
- 1:37:06>> I think that that that's where my
- 1:37:08education helps me. Believe it or not,
- 1:37:10biotechnology can help you be a better
- 1:37:12entrepreneur.
- 1:37:12>> Really?
- 1:37:13>> Yes. I think so. I mean uh because I
- 1:37:16learned how to you know do I learn how
- 1:37:18to to test you know in you know you I
- 1:37:22adopt a very scientific approach in my
- 1:37:25business very methodological you know
- 1:37:27what's my hypothesis what's my inference
- 1:37:31how many I I run the test I sell I I I
- 1:37:34test this I run in small batches okay
- 1:37:36now I sell this I I do this product in a
- 1:37:39small batch because I don't know whether
- 1:37:40it can sell I test first okay I make
- 1:37:42very small quantity
- 1:37:43Hey, the sales not very good. Okay,
- 1:37:46maybe I tweak the handle. I tweaked the
- 1:37:49the the tally, the the the the whatever
- 1:37:51the Oh, the sales improve. Oh, what if I
- 1:37:54change the material or I change the
- 1:37:56color? I see. Look at the data. Wow,
- 1:37:58numbers very good. Oh, it's the color
- 1:38:00problem. Oh, maybe it's a shape problem.
- 1:38:03Oh, then I lower my price by just $9 or
- 1:38:06$10 lower. Wow, the sales big
- 1:38:08difference. So, it's about experimenting
- 1:38:10and seeing where's the sweet spot. Okay.
- 1:38:13>> So, I think that's how my education and
- 1:38:15my background helped me become a better
- 1:38:17entrepreneur. I know how to test.
- 1:38:19>> Okay.
- 1:38:20>> I always test and test and test until I
- 1:38:22find a sweet spot. Then only I do big I
- 1:38:25do in bigger scale.
- 1:38:26>> Okay. Yeah. Next question.
- 1:38:27>> Yeah. You test everything and then you
- 1:38:30you what bigger scale and then
- 1:38:34basically.
- 1:38:38Okay. So, fashion there are like
- 1:38:40timeless products. They're classics and
- 1:38:41they're also trends. So, I think that we
- 1:38:44we have a very good mix. We have a very
- 1:38:47a very good mix of like classics and
- 1:38:50also uh timeless stuff like very basic
- 1:38:52things like a black dress example. It
- 1:38:54never goes out of trend.
- 1:38:55>> Like a black suit, you wear a black
- 1:38:57blazer, it never goes out trend. Dark
- 1:38:59blue,
- 1:39:00>> both of you are wearing dark blue, one
- 1:39:01lighter blue, one darker blue is all
- 1:39:03wardrobe staples.
- 1:39:04>> Yeah. Okay. So what we do at Christy the
- 1:39:06core of the collection is our wardrobe
- 1:39:08staples are things that you can use
- 1:39:10every day.
- 1:39:11>> Ah
- 1:39:13>> yeah and
- 1:39:15>> so you added two types.
- 1:39:16>> Yeah and of course we also cater to
- 1:39:18trend but that is not that's not what
- 1:39:20the whole business about.
- 1:39:22>> It's not the it is seasonal items. There
- 1:39:24are trends like you know we we then and
- 1:39:27then we also adapt some of the latest
- 1:39:29trends or the latest color palettes or
- 1:39:31latest prints to our classic designs and
- 1:39:33we give them a fresh new interpretation.
- 1:39:36But we we the whole business is not all
- 1:39:39about trends. It's about creating
- 1:39:41meaningful products that every people
- 1:39:43use every day.
- 1:39:44>> Okay.
- 1:39:44>> You want to say we are fast fashion in
- 1:39:46some ways. Yes. Because we launch three
- 1:39:49to four products new products a week.
- 1:39:51>> Three to four a week. whole week.
- 1:39:56>> Yeah, it's very fast.
- 1:39:58>> And then you what? Limited edition you
- 1:40:00got.
- 1:40:01>> Yeah.
- 1:40:02>> Three to four new products.
- 1:40:04>> Then three to four every week though.
- 1:40:06And then mostly
- 1:40:09>> uh we'll see how fast is the sell
- 1:40:10through. If the sell through is very
- 1:40:12good, we will produce it again in a
- 1:40:14bigger batch.
- 1:40:14>> Okay. If meaning you produce your data
- 1:40:18shows everything okay, good. You go all
- 1:40:21out and then suddenly
- 1:40:30>> because they numbers don't lie.
- 1:40:33>> Everything bas on numbers data.
- 1:40:42Okay. All right. So any any any more
- 1:40:45question
- 1:41:00[Music]
- 1:41:06[Music]
- 1:41:11to be honest I can before I can Okay.
- 1:41:14And then I can tell you I think probably
- 1:41:17because of content
- 1:41:26boy.
- 1:41:28Okay. Okay. Okay. Maybe last word from
- 1:41:30you.
- 1:41:37So what's your advice to them?
- 1:41:39>> Um get your fundamentals right and it's
- 1:41:41all about mindset. You can look at a
- 1:41:43glass half full or half empty. A
- 1:41:45difference between between someone who
- 1:41:48you know fails and someone who succeeds
- 1:41:50is its mindset and fundamentals.
- 1:41:54You get your bas you get you get your
- 1:41:56core fundamentals strong
