- 0:07Since I've known myself, I've been a
- 0:10dreamer. I wanted to be an explorer. I
- 0:12wanted to go into the depths of the
- 0:14uncharted. I wanted to meet tribal
- 0:17peoples that never saw culture before. I
- 0:19wanted to marry the daughter of the
- 0:20chief and find gold in the river. That
- 0:23was the reason why I came to South
- 0:24America.
- 0:31I would say in short there's two types
- 0:32of dreamer. People that dream as
- 0:35escapism and dreamers that by dreaming
- 0:39creating the substance of life itself.
- 0:41It's easier to be the first type of
- 0:43dreamer because the second type of a
- 0:46dreamer is taking a huge risk. Life
- 0:50create resistance to whatever you do.
- 0:53Life gives you enough excuses to give up
- 0:56on your dream.
- 0:57Be careful from this world. But there's
- 0:59always
- 1:01but. Never succumb to the
- 1:07but. We cannot escape from
- 1:12adversity. Adversity is not a choice in
- 1:14life. But the victim is a
- 1:17choice. Look, professional people know
- 1:19what's
- 1:20impossible. It's impossible. Naive
- 1:24people don't know what's impossible.
- 1:28It's not
- 1:29impossible. Population doesn't grow
- 1:31exponentially. Population dances with
- 1:34the conditions around. It responds to
- 1:36the environment. First of all, secondly,
- 1:39resources are not finite. If anything,
- 1:40things are infinite. Thirdly, in the
- 1:43equation, something is lacking. What is
- 1:45lacking is innovation.
- 1:54We rather believe in some conspiracy
- 1:56theory because it makes somebody else
- 1:58responsible. So we can stick to the
- 2:00victim situation. We can do something
- 2:03about it always. And we never have to be
- 2:06victims because
- 2:07responsibility is being able to respond.
