2. 0:15the founder and CEO of Brightwheel and
3. 0:17I'm here seeking a $400,000 investment
4. 0:19for 4% equity stake in my company.
5. 0:21Brightwheel is the mobile app for
6. 0:24preschools, daycares, and families. And
7. 0:26we are completely revolutionizing early
8. 0:28education. Now, I believe all of you are
9. 0:30parents here and I want to ask, when you
10. 0:31come home after a long day and you ask
11. 0:32your kids, "What did you learn at school
12. 0:34today?" Does this sound familiar?

14. 0:38everything I did.

59. 1:57And the key about Brightwheel is that
60. 1:58we're saving teachers time. You actually
61. 1:59have measurably more time with kids
62. 2:01every single day.

64. 2:03quick to the parent experience. So,

67. 2:08this is her day. And as you can see, I
68. 2:10get a sense of not only what she's
69. 2:11doing, but what she's learning. And so,
70. 2:13when I come home, I can actually have a
71. 2:15conversation with her about it. My
72. 2:17connection with my little girl is so
73. 2:18much deeper because of Brightwheel. And
74. 2:20by the way, in the middle of a pretty
75. 2:21tough day, it doesn't hurt to get a

107. 3:04that you can monetize.

111. 3:08to. So, let me walk you through what
112. 3:09what Brightwheel's look like. So, we
113. 3:11started with a pilot in fall of 2014.
114. 3:13How many schools did you get started
115. 3:14with?
116. 3:14we got 10 schools in the pilot with
117. 3:16literally no product. And so, we worked
118. 3:17with them, we listened to them, we
119. 3:18understood their needs. In June of this
120. 3:20year, we launched publicly as
121. 3:21Brightwheel. We went from 10 and and
122. 3:23then now, we have 2,500 schools on every
123. 3:25state across the country.
124. 3:26Wow.
125. 3:27So, how are you going to monetize it?
126. 3:28First, I just want to say that when you
127. 3:29look at other industries, all of these
128. 3:31industries have really great dedicated
129. 3:33software that's provided by very large
130. 3:35companies. This is a massive market that
131. 3:36doesn't have that. And so, that's where
132. 3:38we see ourselves fitting in.
