- 0:06And also about the great sorcerer,
- 0:08Chudalan Potti.
- 0:14Many years ago,
- 0:16Chudalan Potti, an Atharva Vedic scholar,
- 0:19observed rigorous fasts and
- 0:20summoned Goddess Varahi before him.
- 0:26Pleased with Potti's devotion,
- 0:29the Goddess presented him with a magical box.
- 0:33And along with the box was a goblin inside,
- 0:35endowed with supernatural powers.
- 0:39"This goblin will grant you all your wishes,"
- 0:43said Varahi and disappeared.
- 0:46But Potti enslaved the goblin
- 0:49and caused him much suffering.
- 1:04Exhausted and disenchanted,
- 1:06the goblin once told a heavily drunk Potti
- 1:09that if he looked into his mouth,
- 1:11he would see hell.
- 1:16Upon the moment, the intoxicated Potti
- 1:17looked into his mouth,
- 1:19the goblin sucked up Potti's soul and killed him.
- 1:24Thus, liberated from Potti,
- 1:27the goblin gained control over the entire mansion.
- 1:30He mercilessly killed all its members.
- 1:36Many powerful sorcerers came
- 1:39and tried to banish the goblin, but they failed.
- 1:42Finally, Kodumon Potti, the last descendant
- 1:46arrived to banish goblin.
