Blender for dental TUTORIAL para PRINCIPIANTES 2026- Crea modelos 3D desde 0 — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00It’s been over five years since I
- 0:02first made a YouTube video. And today,
- 0:05I want to refresh my first video and
- 0:08explain from scratch, for absolute
- 0:11beginners, how to use one of the most
- 0:14powerful, affordable, and personally my
- 0:16favorite software for digital dentistry
- 0:19: Blender for Dental. Stay tuned
- 0:22because today I’m going to teach you
- 0:24how to get the most out of this
- 0:26software starting from nothing and how
- 0:28to prepare models for 3D printing in
- 0:30minutes. Hello everyone, Juan González
- 0:32from Odonto 3D courses. I’m very
- 0:34excited to revisit this topic, as the
- 0:36original tutorial still gets comments
- 0:39and things have changed quite a bit
- 0:41since then. So today, I’m going to
- 0:44show you the updated, new version,
- 0:47which will likely remain the same for a
- 0:50long time. And let’s start once and
- 0:52for all with the simplest thing, which
- 0:55is the installation. I’m going to go
- 0:57to blenderfordental.com, and the first
- 1:00thing I need to do to install this
- 1:03software is download what we call the
- 1:06UI, or user interface, which has a
- 1:08version under this button that says "
- 1:11installation," with a version for Mac
- 1:14and a version for PC. Let me zoom in.
- 1:18PC and Mac. And basically, it just
- 1:21downloads the appropriate installer,
- 1:23and once downloaded, you’ll see a
- 1:26file like this one. Double-click to
- 1:29install, accept. Next. Next. Install.
- 1:32It’s that simple. Well, I won't go
- 1:34into much detail because this is
- 1:36something I already explained in an
- 1:38update to this video right here. So,
- 1:41it’s basically a very easy installer,
- 1:43as you can see: next, next, next. And
- 1:44that’s it. And now it’s going to
- 1:47launch the user interface. When I press
- 1:49"launch" here, it will open the user
- 1:51interface. Now, to use it, you need to
- 1:54create an account with a username and
- 1:56password. So right here, I have the "
- 1:58sign up" option, which allows me to
- 2:00create a username and password. You
- 2:02enter all your details here and press
- 2:04submit, and you will have created a
- 2:06username and password. Now I’m going
- 2:09to log into my account so you can see
- 2:11how to access the modules. You’ll
- 2:16notice that in the top right corner, my
- 2:18account is there, and if I go to "My
- 2:20Modules," all the modules I’ve
- 2:21purchased will appear. If you haven't
- 2:24bought any, instead of this green check
- 2:26, you’ll see the option to buy, which
- 2:28will take you to the store page, where
- 2:30I’ll also leave an affiliate link
- 2:32below. If you want to support the
- 2:34academy, please use that link to make
- 2:36your purchases. It doesn't cost extra,
- 2:38but you'll be supporting the channel.
- 2:40Well, this module, for example, which
- 2:43is the one used to prepare models for
- 2:453D printing, costs only 9. But stay
- 2:48tuned, as I'll explain how to get it
- 2:50for free for 14 days so you can try it
- 2:53out and see if you like it and adapt to
- 2:55what I'm about to show you. So, you go
- 2:57here to page six and instead of buying,
- 2:59you simply register your details,
- 3:01select the one that costs zero, which
- 3:03is the trial version. Make sure you
- 3:05select the right one, click "buy now,"
- 3:08and it will basically allow you to
- 3:11choose the same one from the list again
- 3:13. Which is right here. I click select,
- 3:17and here you basically enter your
- 3:19details, and even though you aren't
- 3:21going to pay, it asks you to fill this
- 3:23out, and that's it. Click accept, and
- 3:25you're done. Anyway, I don't want to
- 3:27dwell any longer on this installation
- 3:29topic. If you have trouble, you can
- 3:31write to "Let's Chat" and speak in
- 3:32Spanish with the Blender for Dental
- 3:34tech support team if you can't get
- 3:36something to work, but as you can see,
- 3:38it's very easy. So, once you have the
- 3:40module, go here, enter your details,
- 3:43email, and password, and log in so that
- 3:45the module appears here. Once you log
- 3:47into your account, all the modules you
- 3:49have installed will appear. In this
- 3:51case, I have all of them. And here next
- 3:53to Model Designer, there's a button
- 3:55that says "install," similar to this
- 3:57one; I already pressed it to speed up
- 3:59this video. And it will download the
- 4:01file from the internet. It takes a few
- 4:03minutes to download, and once installed
- 4:05, it will identify if I already have
- 4:07Blender installed. Since I don't have
- 4:09it, I go to this button that says "
- 4:11install Blender," and it will also
- 4:12download the correct version of Blender
- 4:14to install it. If for any reason you
- 4:16already had Blender for Dental before,
- 4:19or you installed an old version or
- 4:21whatever, delete everything and don't
- 4:23complicate your life; delete everything
- 4:25and do exactly what I'm showing you
- 4:27from scratch so you can install it
- 4:29correctly. Right now, it's downloading
- 4:31Blender. I'm going to skip the video
- 4:33and install Blender by clicking next,
- 4:36next, next, exactly as it comes out of
- 4:38the box. Done, the installation is
- 4:40finished, and now it asks if I want to
- 4:42know more about Blender; I'll say no.
- 4:45And now I'll go to the user interface
- 4:47and hit the "refresh" button so it
- 4:49recognizes that it's installed and that
- 4:51everything is fine; everything gets a
- 4:53green check mark here. It even tells me
- 4:56Spanish isn't selected. I'm going to
- 4:58set it for now, and I recommend you do
- 5:00this, especially if you're having
- 5:02issues, I'll leave it in English.
- 5:04English is the default language, and if
- 5:06there's a translation error, it
- 5:08sometimes causes issues with the
- 5:09software. I'll leave it in English for
- 5:11now; you can change it to Spanish later
- 5:14if you want, but I prefer not to have
- 5:16issues, so I'll leave it there. Now, to
- 5:18make it look very similar to what you
- 5:20see on screen, I'm going to select only
- 5:23this module so everything else I have
- 5:25installed doesn't appear, and I'll
- 5:28press Start, which will launch
- 5:30everything—the software is installed,
- 5:32configured, perfect, and ready to use.
- 5:35I don't have to do anything else. It's
- 5:37already working. And look, the Blender
- 5:39window has appeared with everything
- 5:41configured to make things a little
- 5:43easier for you. I'm going to make the
- 5:45text a bit bigger here so you can see
- 5:48everything I'm doing clearly on your
- 5:50screen. I'll set it to 1.3. I think
- 5:53that looks decent, and that way you can
- 5:55follow the tutorial easily. And I'll
- 5:57start this example directly by loading
- 5:58a dental model, which is super easy. I
- 6:00just find the folder and select the
- 6:03models I want, drag them, and drop them
- 6:05here, and it asks, "Are you importing
- 6:07these two files?" Import. And that's it
- 6:10, it's that simple, they appear in the
- 6:12scene. It's nothing mystical, it's very
- 6:14easy and I only have to make two clicks
- 6:17. Now, these models are in PLY format.
- 6:20If you don't know anything about these
- 6:22formats, I'll leave this video here
- 6:23where I explain it. But basically, they
- 6:25are models with color. If I want to see
- 6:28them with color, I go here where it
- 6:30says "attribute" and we can see them
- 6:32this way. Very nice, everything looks
- 6:33great. Now, how are we going to
- 6:35navigate this three-dimensional space
- 6:38called the Blender scene? You need a
- 6:40mouse, a mouse like that one there, not
- 6:43the laptop trackpad—that won't work,
- 6:45a mouse. Okay. If you don't have one,
- 6:47go buy one for a few bucks and continue
- 6:49with the tutorial. Okay. Now, with the
- 6:52middle click, the button that has the
- 6:54wheel, right? This button here, you
- 6:56press it and you can do this, rotate
- 6:59the camera around the model. This is
- 7:01called orbiting. Yes. If I also combine
- 7:05this with the Shift key, Shift and that
- 7:07button, I can do this which is called
- 7:10panning, that is, moving horizontally
- 7:13or vertically. Finally, as you saw a
- 7:16moment ago, if I roll that wheel
- 7:18forward, I zoom in; backward, I zoom
- 7:20out. Well, to make things easier,
- 7:22I’ve added information here about
- 7:24what I’m doing and pressing so you
- 7:26can see it on screen. And here is an
- 7:29important tip: when I start moving
- 7:31things around, sometimes I want to
- 7:33center the screen and see it from the
- 7:36front, side, top, bottom, or whatever.
- 7:38For that, I have these tools here,
- 7:40which are the same as what I’ve
- 7:42already explained. If I press this one
- 7:44and view it from the Y axis, I am
- 7:46looking at the object from the front. I
- 7:49can also use the number pad on my
- 7:52keyboard, the numbers on the right side
- 7:54that look like a calculator. The one
- 7:57key on the number pad shows me the
- 8:00front, three is right, seven is top,
- 8:03and the combination of Control 1, 3,
- 8:06and 7 shows the opposite: back, left,
- 8:09and bottom. As I showed, this is the
- 8:12same as pressing these buttons. So, if
- 8:15you don't have a number pad, this is a
- 8:17viable option. Finally, if you don’t
- 8:20have a mouse and choose not to listen
- 8:22to me, you can use this one, clicking
- 8:24and dragging to zoom. Click and move
- 8:28this one to pan, and this one to orbit.
- 8:32In other words, they are an alternative
- 8:35way to navigate. Okay, I’ll view it
- 8:37from the front by pressing Numpad 1,
- 8:39and what I’m going to do is align
- 8:41these models. I want these models to be
- 8:43centered here in the middle so I can
- 8:45work properly. This is a step you
- 8:47shouldn't skip, and it's very easy to
- 8:49do. I’m going to select the top model
- 8:51. I’m going to press here. I’ll go
- 8:54to this section. Notice that it has
- 8:55different sections in the menu called "
- 8:57models." If for any reason you are in
- 9:00another menu, go back to "models," and
- 9:03to collapse the menus—I press Control
- 9:06and click to collapse them and leave
- 9:09only the one I’m working on. So, "
- 9:12model align center," I select the model
- 9:15, notice it turns orange. And now I
- 9:17press the first button. You always read
- 9:19all the menus from top to bottom and
- 9:21from left to right. So, to align in the
- 9:23alignment section, I press the first
- 9:25button, "enter target." To the bottom
- 9:28model, this changes its name, right? It
- 9:29tells you it's now called "target." We
- 9:31call the model underneath "opposing." I
- 9:33press "name opposing" and its name is
- 9:36changed. And finally, I press the third
- 9:38button, link flip, which shows me the
- 9:41model face up, since when you imported
- 9:43the models, they were sideways, facing
- 9:45any which way. It's no problem. If you
- 9:47follow these steps, they will align
- 9:49properly. Now I'm going to place four
- 9:51points. The next part says four points.
- 9:53Place four points. There's even a hint
- 9:56down here, a little note, a reminder,
- 9:59an aid of what it is I need to do. It
- 10:02says, "Press P to place the four points
- 10:05in a rectangular shape." How do I do
- 10:08this? Use the Shift key and the right
- 10:11mouse click to move this circle, which
- 10:14is called the cursor. I'll place it, in
- 10:18my case, on two molar cusps. I can
- 10:21press the P key, as it says here, or
- 10:23this button so that the little dot
- 10:25appears right here. If you don't have
- 10:28it in color, by the way, I'll set it
- 10:30here to texture, which is how it
- 10:31usually looks. This little dot is red.
- 10:34Okay, I'll continue like this for now.
- 10:37I'll go over here. Shift, right-click,
- 10:39and press P. Shift and right-click,
- 10:42press P. Shift and right-click, press
- 10:45P. This model is missing two laterals.
- 10:48Poor patient. But well, it is what it
- 10:50is. Once it's like this, I'll press the
- 10:53align button and boom. Everything
- 10:56aligns in a second. Perfect. Sure, it
- 10:58ended up upside down, but it doesn't
- 11:00matter because it's already centered.
- 11:02Now I have these three tools to rotate
- 11:04it. 180 degrees, or if I had to flip it
- 11:07on the Z-axis, I could do that. It has
- 11:10a note here that says X, Y, Z. The
- 11:13X-axis, by the way, is this horizontal
- 11:16line. If I use X, it will rotate this
- 11:18way, right? On this line. The Y-axis is
- 11:21this vertical line; it will rotate on
- 11:23this line. And the Z-axis, which you
- 11:25can't see right now, but I can show it
- 11:27here, is this blue line. So it would
- 11:29rotate in this direction. Since what I
- 11:32need is to rotate it like this on the
- 11:34Y-axis, I use Y. And now it's facing
- 11:37front. Two clicks here and it's done.
- 11:40So now it is perfectly aligned and I
- 11:42can start working. The first thing will
- 11:45be to cut all those excesses because
- 11:47the scanner doesn't do it perfectly,
- 11:49and I'll do it super easily. I like to
- 11:51hide the model I'm not working on and
- 11:54show the one I am working on. To hide,
- 11:57I press, select the model, and press
- 11:59the H key. When I want to show them
- 12:02again, Alt + H, it's that easy. I have
- 12:04the same thing up here too. If I go
- 12:07here, I can select and press the hide
- 12:09button, and it says H here, or unhide,
- 12:12Alt, it's the same. Okay. I really like
- 12:15shortcuts, so I use the H key. Let's
- 12:17move on to the next section. Cut and
- 12:20patch, which would be trimming the
- 12:22model. For that, again, I will use my
- 12:24cursor, keeping in mind that the object
- 12:27is selected and has an orange outline.
- 12:29All good. Shift and right-click to
- 12:31place the cursor where I want to start.
- 12:33And I'm going to make a little drawing,
- 12:35Archcut. And this is basically going to
- 12:38be the cut line. With the G key, as you
- 12:41see on screen, I can move this point,
- 12:43and with the E key, I can add an extra
- 12:46point. I will make relatively short
- 12:49points and I will go along drawing the
- 12:51contour where I want to clean this
- 12:54model. Everything that is irregular
- 12:56will go away and everything below the
- 12:59line will look very good. Okay, I'll
- 13:01continue. If I find things like this, I
- 13:04don't make big steps, but rather small
- 13:06steps so that it follows the shape
- 13:08correctly. I will keep moving forward
- 13:10here on these details that are not flat
- 13:12, they are not flat surfaces, but
- 13:14irregular ones, so I make more little
- 13:16points. Yes. And if I want to correct
- 13:18any, for example, this one here, I
- 13:20select it and with the G key I correct
- 13:22it. Okay, this one too, or whatever.
- 13:25I'm going to go around the entire model
- 13:27and in this case, I'm going to leave
- 13:29the palate. So I'm going to move along
- 13:31this area. I am pressing E every time
- 13:35to create a new vertex. And when I
- 13:38reach the other end, I go here and
- 13:40press the fuse option so they connect.
- 13:43Okay, just like that, so easy. I have
- 13:46drawn everything I want to delete and
- 13:49now I press trim. Trim cuts the bad
- 13:51part and leaves the good part, but
- 13:53since it doesn't know which is the good
- 13:55one and which is the bad one, it will
- 13:57ask me to decide which one I want to
- 14:00keep. So I select a vertex or an area
- 14:02of the good part, I clicked here, and
- 14:05then I press clean and this deletes
- 14:07everything bad, leaves the good, and
- 14:09that's it. Now this model, as you will
- 14:12see, now that it's cleaned, has a very
- 14:15good contour. Now yes, very clean, very
- 14:18regular, as it should be, but it's
- 14:20still not ready to be printed. So, in
- 14:23order to print this model, I need to
- 14:25make it watertight. In the 3D world,
- 14:27it’s called manifold, and it’s very
- 14:29easy to do. I go down here to the base
- 14:32option, and since this is the upper
- 14:34model, I press oper base. That will
- 14:37close the model and get it ready for
- 14:40printing. Here, if I wanted, I could
- 14:42hollow the model, or I could just
- 14:44export it and take it to print. I
- 14:46hollow the model during the export
- 14:49phase, but I could do it in Blender for
- 14:52Dental, but to keep this tutorial
- 14:55concise, I won't. And if you want to
- 14:57learn how I do it with Chitubox, I’ll
- 14:58leave this video right here. But
- 15:00basically, with that, this model is
- 15:02ready. If I want the base to be bigger
- 15:04or smaller, I have some arrows here to
- 15:06modify it, but in this case, since I
- 15:08want the palate, I’ll leave it as is.
- 15:11Okay, let’s move on to the lower
- 15:13model, and I’ll show you a second
- 15:15alternative, which is the one I use
- 15:18most frequently to show it again, right
- 15:20? Alt + H, and now I’m going to hide
- 15:23the upper one. Right, what do I do?
- 15:25Most of the time to clean the model,
- 15:28instead of drawing that line, which is
- 15:31fine, but I like to do it faster, I’m
- 15:34going to go into a special mode inside
- 15:38Blender called edit mode. I can do it
- 15:40from here with Fast Edit or with the
- 15:43Tab key. This time I’ll press the
- 15:45button because it takes me to this
- 15:48specific mode where I’m using
- 15:50something called X-ray mode. If you
- 15:53notice, I can see the back of the model
- 15:55, and also in that edit mode, as it
- 15:58says up here, Edit Mode, in case you
- 16:00need to change it. Here is where I can
- 16:03turn off or deactivate that X-ray mode.
- 16:05If I deactivate it, I only see the
- 16:07front. If I activate it, I see the
- 16:09front and the back. Why do I want X-ray
- 16:11mode active? Because it allows me to
- 16:14select all the vertices or faces that I
- 16:16want to remove. Right now, I’m going
- 16:19to press the C key on my keyboard to
- 16:21make this circle, and I’m going to
- 16:23paint over all that edge I don’t like
- 16:25. I’ll paint it quickly like this.
- 16:28I’ll rotate over here. By the way,
- 16:30when the C key is active, I can’t pan
- 16:32, I can’t rotate, I can’t do
- 16:33anything. So, I right-click to cancel
- 16:37the tool. And now I can rotate. Yes, I
- 16:39have to be careful because if I look at
- 16:42it from here, for example, and I press
- 16:44C, what happens? That I'm selecting
- 16:45this part here, but also what's behind
- 16:47it. Control Z to deactivate or undo it.
- 16:51And I'm going to tilt the model down a
- 16:54little to quickly select just that edge
- 16:57. Yes, I'm going to turn this this way.
- 16:59I'm going to continue with this here.
- 17:01The whole edge and everything I want to
- 17:03remove, I do by painting. It's that
- 17:05easy. Yes. Once I reach the other side,
- 17:09I repeat exactly the same process. I'll
- 17:12do it a bit faster now. And with that,
- 17:16I have everything I don't want selected
- 17:20. Here on the inside part, too. I'll do
- 17:22it super fast like this. Done. And
- 17:26there it is. Very good. Okay. Now the
- 17:29same as before, but deleting. Since
- 17:32I've already selected everything I
- 17:34don't want, I'll press the delete
- 17:36button. All of that goes away. The edge
- 17:38is regular enough for it to work. I
- 17:42have a little detail left here. Look,
- 17:44something interesting here to clean it
- 17:46up. If I wanted to, I could press the
- 17:49Tab key to go to edit mode. I select
- 17:52something from the area I want to keep
- 17:54and press clean. And this little piece
- 17:56goes away. Okay. Tab to return to
- 17:59object mode. This is object mode. This
- 18:01is edit mode. Okay, in object mode I
- 18:03move the entire object. In edit mode I
- 18:05access the vertices, faces, and edges.
- 18:08Okay, I go back down to the bases,
- 18:10press lower base, and just like before,
- 18:12in a few seconds, I have a model ready,
- 18:15clean and ready to print. Now, if you
- 18:17have trouble doing this, it could be
- 18:19one of two things. One, it could be
- 18:22that you have a hole in the model. I'll
- 18:26do it as an example. Here, I'm going to
- 18:28make a hole here. Bam, bam, bam. And if
- 18:30you have this hole and you create the
- 18:32base, it's going to create a mini base
- 18:34in that hole and that's a problem. So,
- 18:36an extra tip, well, it did it right
- 18:37this time, but it doesn't always do it
- 18:39perfectly. I can't even make mistakes,
- 18:41what's up with that? But if it's giving
- 18:43you that problem, in this option down
- 18:46here that says cut fill and patch, or
- 18:48up here, sorry, you can close those
- 18:51holes, I press fill holes and that will
- 18:53fill that up nicely. And now, when I
- 18:55create the base, that base will be
- 18:57created properly, although it did it
- 18:59right before, so what can I tell you? I
- 19:01don't know. In any case, I have both
- 19:03models ready at the H-max, and I could
- 19:05already send this to export, but I want
- 19:08to give you an extra. So subscribe,
- 19:10because I'm showing you the secrets of
- 19:13Blender for Dental—which aren't
- 19:15really secrets at all—but if I want
- 19:18this to hold, if I want this occlusion
- 19:20to stay when printing the models, I can
- 19:23add simple little occluders here. So we
- 19:26are going to do that as a final step,
- 19:28and I'll go to this option that says
- 19:30articulation, and I'll look with the
- 19:33cursor where I want to place them. I'm
- 19:35going to put three. I could put four if
- 19:37I wanted to, but I'll put three. I'll
- 19:39put one here. I press the one that says
- 19:41articulator, and actually, it didn't
- 19:42listen to me. It went to the middle.
- 19:44With the arrow, I pull it, I pull it,
- 19:46and look, it appears in the middle.
- 19:48That's why it's so important that this
- 19:50is aligned. Yes, I'll look at it from
- 19:52above with the seven key, and I'll
- 19:55bring it with G until it touches the
- 19:57model. I can rotate it with R, and I'll
- 19:59do it like this, right? Good. I'll do
- 20:02the same on the other side, but to
- 20:04avoid pressing articulator, I press
- 20:06copy and it gives me an identical one.
- 20:08Rotate and I place it around here. Yes.
- 20:11And one more, I'll press G and R to
- 20:13rotate and place it in the front. Yes.
- 20:16If you want to put four to have them on
- 20:17the sides, well, you just put them,
- 20:19right? It's nothing scientific. This is
- 20:22very easy. Now, here is one thing: the
- 20:24models on the top, or the articulators
- 20:27on the top, are looking fine, but on
- 20:30the bottom they are sticking out a bit,
- 20:33right? So, what could I do? Very
- 20:35important, do not separate these two
- 20:38pieces. Yes, they are two individual
- 20:39pieces. If you separate them, they will
- 20:41never match up again. I select both
- 20:43pieces, shift, click. They were already
- 20:47selected before, but this way I select
- 20:49both, and with the arrow, I move it so
- 20:50it stays above the bottom edge, because
- 20:52I'm going to set this like this. And
- 20:54now, to connect this here, I'll use
- 20:57this little arrow, and that arrow
- 20:59extends it forward. Ready. I'll do the
- 21:02same with the other two. I can also
- 21:04show this menu here with the T key and
- 21:08choose the box option from this list.
- 21:11Yes, with the box option, I can select
- 21:13it like this. And now G to move. And if
- 21:17I want to move it only vertically, here
- 21:19is another interesting tip. I press the
- 21:22axis I want to move on, for example, G
- 21:24and Z. And that way I move it only
- 21:26vertically. I'll raise it a little bit
- 21:28there so it stays above that edge.
- 21:30Nothing happens here. If it sticks out
- 21:31or whatever. And that's it. I'll leave
- 21:34it just right. And here the same, GZ to
- 21:37raise it. Now, if you don't like it, if
- 21:39it bothers you that it's like this, if
- 21:41you want it to be perfect and blah blah
- 21:44blah, well, no problem, my dear friend,
- 21:46because this is very easy to fix. What
- 21:48I'm going to do is box-select the three
- 21:50of them. Yes, I'm going to press the S
- 21:53and Z keys, as we said before, S and Z.
- 21:56And this scales vertically. Like this.
- 21:59Very good. Now to move it down a little
- 22:02bit. And look, now it turned out
- 22:05fantastic. Okay, this is perfect. And
- 22:08now I'm going to export. How do I
- 22:10export the files? I want this part at
- 22:13the top to be one object and this part
- 22:14at the bottom one object. So I have to
- 22:17combine everything. How do I do that?
- 22:19Very easy. I make this box, I select
- 22:22one of them because I want it to be the
- 22:25active object. This is another Blender
- 22:27concept. The active object is the most
- 22:29important object. So, I press the Shift
- 22:32key and click, for example, on the
- 22:33model. And notice it's lighter. That is
- 22:36the active object. Here I can combine
- 22:38them with the key combination Control
- 22:41and J, or in this initial menu I press
- 22:44join objects and the three of them
- 22:46combine. Same thing down here. I select
- 22:48everything. Shift and click to select
- 22:51the model. This time Control J, exactly
- 22:54the same thing happened. I have one
- 22:56file at the top, one file at the bottom
- 22:58. I can export them one by one, but I
- 23:00prefer to export them all at once. I
- 23:02select everything. I go here to File,
- 23:05Export, STL. I'm going to make a folder
- 23:08here called export. Yes. And I'm going
- 23:11to select two things. One, the button
- 23:13that says Selection Only, because if I
- 23:16have other things around in the scene,
- 23:18it won't export those. And then the
- 23:20batch option so that each object is
- 23:22exported individually, because if I
- 23:24don't select it, those two models will
- 23:26combine too. So these two remain
- 23:28selected, the name, I give it the name
- 23:31I want, for example, models, and export
- 23:34. And with that, if I go to this export
- 23:37folder, there's the top model, exactly
- 23:40as I defined it and with its parts on
- 23:43the sides, and of course the bottom
- 23:45model too. That's it. With that, you
- 23:48have models ready to print in seconds,
- 23:50perfect to send straight to the slicer,
- 23:53and you have basically started your
- 23:55journey in the world of Blender for
- 23:57Dental. If you liked the tutorial and
