  6. 0:06one of the biggest.
  7. 0:10>> What's good, brother? How you been? How
  8. 0:11you been? You good?
  9. 0:12>> Good, fam. I'm here. I'm here. I'm in
  10. 0:14the six right now. I'm back at the crib,
  11. 0:15man. I don't you know, flew in on a red
  12. 0:16eye, so.
  13. 0:17>> Oh, [ __ ]
  14. 0:19>> Are you excited for the album?
  15. 0:21>> Of course. Of course. Got to come up
  16. 0:22here and support bro.
  17. 0:23>> city on fire?
  18. 0:25>> Of course, the city needs us right now,
  19. 0:26you know. Toronto's always cold. It's
  20. 0:29gloomy today. I feel like I'm back in
  21. 0:30Cleveland. I'm like, bro, where's the
  22. 0:31sun out in on May What what's it today?
  23. 0:33Mid-May?
  24. 0:34>> Yeah, that's crazy.
  25. 0:36>> Yeah.
  26. 0:36>> I'm excited, man. I think [ __ ] I feel
  27. 0:38like Driz is about to go on a
  28. 0:39well-deserved run, and it's going to be
  29. 0:41exciting to see and exciting to watch.
  30. 0:43I'm [ __ ] stoked.
  31. 0:44>> Yeah, but I feel like he's got to come
  32. 0:46hard, right? Like he he got to have the
  33. 0:48come
  34. 0:48>> by the way But by the way But by the way
  35. 0:49But by the way, he always does.
  36. 0:51>> That's true.
  37. 0:53>> That was part of the problem between him
  38. 0:54and [ __ ] homeboys back and forth.
  39. 0:56It's like we put we the standard for a
  40. 0:58Drake song or Drake anything is absolute
  41. 1:01max. You know what I'm saying? It's like
  42. 1:03It's like the same [ __ ] with LeBron in
  43. 1:04the NBA, right? Or Luka. It's like these
  44. 1:06[ __ ] are expected to perform a
  45. 1:08certain way, and if they don't, if they
  46. 1:09even come close to average, then it's a
  47. 1:12it's it's a huge fumble. It's It's It's
  48. 1:14a failure.
  49. 1:15And I think um
  50. 1:16he's obviously been locked in. I don't
  51. 1:18know. I'm I'm excited. It's dropping
  52. 1:20tonight, right? Like midnight?
  53. 1:21>> Tonight at 12, right? I mean, listen, he
  54. 1:23always wants to own the summer. Summer's
  55. 1:25around the corner, and
  56. 1:27from what I've heard, I mean
  57. 1:29>> You sound just like Drake and his boys.
  58. 1:32It's so It's so funny.
  59. 1:33>> The six, bro. The six.
  60. 1:35>> funny.
  61. 1:36It's so funny.
  62. 1:36>> Got to got to support the city whenever
  63. 1:38whenever, you know, our brothers is
  64. 1:39dropping dropping fire and heat, so.
  65. 1:42>> Of course.
  66. 1:43>> Yeah. What you guys been up to, man? I
  67. 1:44see you guys here cooking and and
  68. 1:46congrats
  69. 1:47on your guys, you know, your your your
  70. 1:49pod, your show. I love it.
  71. 1:51>> Thank you, man.
  72. 1:53>> Congrats to you guys. This These
  73. 1:55backgrounds are fire.
  74. 1:57>> It's like some kind
  75. 1:58>> the set? You want to see the whole
  76. 1:59thing?
  77. 2:00>> Woah! What the [ __ ]
  78. 2:02Oh! The mug, too? What? Buy it at
  79. 2:06markrober.com. I'm just kidding, you
  80. 2:07can't buy this.
  81. 2:10>> Jake, that's hard.
  82. 2:10>> You know you know what's funny, bro? We
  83. 2:12actually me and Banks always talk about
  84. 2:13how
  85. 2:14Banks like he's really showed me hard on
  86. 2:16like doing content. I mean this show was
  87. 2:18like obviously the official like the
  88. 2:20move into that. But when when me and you
  89. 2:23met, I actually was doing content. We
  90. 2:25met in in Singapore. What year? Was it
  91. 2:282023? 2024? 2024. 2024, I think.
  92. 2:322024. Yeah, we met in Singapore
  93. 2:34and like I was out there for the
  94. 2:35conference. I was super surprised to see
  95. 2:37you out there for the conference. I was
  96. 2:38like oh wait, what are you What is this
  97. 2:40dude doing here, too? But then that's
  98. 2:41that's when we first linked. It's kind
  99. 2:43of funny on on the content side of
  100. 2:44things, but I know you do a ton of
  101. 2:47stuff, too. Like you obviously NBA
  102. 2:48player,
  103. 2:49um
  104. 2:50done great in that field, done well. But
  105. 2:52you also do a ton of other things also.
  106. 2:54So like you're an investor, builder. How
  107. 2:57do you think about being not just an NBA
  108. 3:00player, but also being like a
  109. 3:01businessman
  110. 3:03and how you how you think about that cuz
  111. 3:04like you you wear multiple hats.
  112. 3:07>> Yeah, no. I think it's
  113. 3:09I think
  114. 3:10using the NBA, you know, that's a
  115. 3:12leverage, right? I think that's like
  116. 3:13your launchpad on like what gets you in
  117. 3:14these rooms and what starts this kind of
  118. 3:16halo and cachet, but I think it just
  119. 3:18can't be all that you do. Um the reality
  120. 3:21is that, you know, NBA players are
  121. 3:22making more money than they ever made in
  122. 3:24all those sports. And I think back in
  123. 3:26the day, you know, the reality is that
  124. 3:28they didn't have the capital like what
  125. 3:29we'd have now to to be as actively
  126. 3:32investing or or to be trying new things,
  127. 3:34right? And I think for myself and others
  128. 3:36that you've been seeing, it's like what
  129. 3:38else is after basketball? I think LeBron
  130. 3:39is the only guy that can kick Father
  131. 3:41Time in his ass and outwork him. The
  132. 3:43rest of us guys have to figure this out.
  133. 3:45>> What's he doing, bro? What's he doing?
  134. 3:47Keep it a buck. You know you know. What
  135. 3:49peptides what's this
  136. 3:50>> peptides, bro.
  137. 3:51>> That [ __ ] is eating babies. We
  138. 3:52know he wants
  139. 3:54>> Man, whatever peptide whatever he's on
  140. 3:56if he's on whatever he's on, I needed
  141. 3:57some and I feel like he he held out on
  142. 3:59me, but it's all it's all good in love,
  143. 4:01you know. He got me chips.
  144. 4:02>> He keep maxing, bro. That's 2026.
  145. 4:05[ __ ] everybody.
  146. 4:06>> Yeah, yeah. No, but it's um shoot. I
  147. 4:08mean it it's it's great. I mean the fact
  148. 4:10you know, um
  149. 4:12oh I got to call you you got to call you
  150. 4:12by your your your Z I call you by your
  151. 4:14your your
  152. 4:15>> Nah, you call me Z, bro. It's cool.
  153. 4:17Call me Z.
  154. 4:19>> Yeah. You call me but no, us meeting in
  155. 4:21crypto that's kind of how that was kind
  156. 4:23of like the second iteration, you know,
  157. 4:24for a long time what I was doing
  158. 4:27probably back from 2023 probably post
  159. 4:29pandemic was just honestly just like
  160. 4:32investing in a lot like SPVs and like
  161. 4:34what it was at Anthropic at a low
  162. 4:36valuation or just SpaceX under 300
  163. 4:39billion dollars, but that was just
  164. 4:40honestly just cuz like playing against
  165. 4:42the Golden State Warriors and being in
  166. 4:44SF for like
  167. 4:45what four finals in a row meeting people
  168. 4:47and saying hey like I have a you know, I
  169. 4:49want a little exposure. I'm used to just
  170. 4:51you know, investing in straight like
  171. 4:52consumable brands and like
  172. 4:54fam family brands that obviously you
  173. 4:56guys know the family. We got you know,
  174. 4:58you got the Skims, you got the Good
  175. 4:59American, you know, Kylie Cosmetics,
  176. 5:00818, Lemieux, all that stuff, but I
  177. 5:02wanted to something different and and
  178. 5:04the way I look at investing is it's
  179. 5:06about where the world is going and where
  180. 5:07the world is at. And and now
  181. 5:11being more in the space and in the
  182. 5:12crypto layer to it, I was like you know,
  183. 5:14I look at Magic and Shaq, guys that kind
  184. 5:16of like were at the forefront of
  185. 5:17Blueprint.
  186. 5:18>> Yeah.
  187. 5:18>> And you know, Shaq and Magic they're you
  188. 5:20know, in their 50s and 60s and I was
  189. 5:22like yo, who's going to take the bull by
  190. 5:24its horn and be like that new young
  191. 5:26money athlete that's like
  192. 5:28>> I actually
  193. 5:29>> You know?
  194. 5:30>> I actually just invested in this
  195. 5:31consumer like tech random tech products
  196. 5:33a couple years ago and we always joke
  197. 5:35about how Shaq owns everything and how
  198. 5:36he has a little piece of everything and
  199. 5:38he actually just him and one of the sons
  200. 5:40actually just wrote a check. I just got
  201. 5:42an update on on the email whatever just
  202. 5:43wrote a check for this like tech brand
  203. 5:45I'm in. So we're on the same cap table
  204. 5:47That [ __ ] really owns
  205. 5:48everything. He's the goat.
  206. 5:49>> No, he's figured it out, right? I mean,
  207. 5:51>> tallest. He's the tallest. I think
  208. 5:52there's a direct correlation, by the
  209. 5:54way.
  210. 5:57>> Yo, Shaq might be bigger now for all
  211. 6:00these like insurance commercials and Icy
  212. 6:02Hot than like
  213. 6:02>> By the way, for sure. For He's just
  214. 6:04cemented as like like this He's I think
  215. 6:08he's He's got to be one of the most
  216. 6:09famous guys to ever live. Like, he has
  217. 6:10to be, right?
  218. 6:11>> Yeah.
  219. 6:12>> I wonder if you ask Claude who the most
  220. 6:13famous athletes of all time are. Shaq's
  221. 6:15got to be top five. He's got to be top
  222. 6:17five.
  223. 6:17>> Yeah, I
  224. 6:18I saw something on Twitter the other day
  225. 6:20where they were talking about how like
  226. 6:22most people don't even know Shaq as a
  227. 6:24[ __ ] like NBA player. Like, people
  228. 6:27who know Shaq just know him as like
  229. 6:29Shaq. Like, we know We obviously watch
  230. 6:31basketball, know all the players. But,
  231. 6:34like a lot of women don't watch
  232. 6:35basketball as much or like just like
  233. 6:37your average person doesn't as much. And
  234. 6:39like they know him as something
  235. 6:40completely out of like different from
  236. 6:42that, which I thought was like really,
  237. 6:43really interesting.
  238. 6:45>> It's like The Rock.
  239. 6:46>> Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like The Rock.
  240. 6:47Yeah.
  241. 6:48>> Nowhere near
  242. 6:49>> The Rock's not a person.
  243. 6:50>> Yeah.
  244. 6:50>> But, I think the the way you think about
  245. 6:52investing and like and constantly
  246. 6:54growing your wealth is super important
  247. 6:56cuz it's a discussion that we don't have
  248. 6:58a lot, I think. And it's like really
  249. 7:00important discussion to have. Like, you
  250. 7:02always see the stories of people or like
  251. 7:04athletes or celebrities who make a lot
  252. 7:06of money then they blow all of it. Um
  253. 7:07so, I think it's it's really great to
  254. 7:09see you like being focused in that area.
  255. 7:12and and great to like popu- popularize
  256. 7:14like the the notion of investing and
  257. 7:16thinking in that way. Um what are some
  258. 7:18like the the favorite investments that
  259. 7:20you've made? Like, some of your most
  260. 7:22interesting stuff that you like a lot. I
  261. 7:24know you said you hit SpaceX and
  262. 7:25Anthropic, by the way. You can catch
  263. 7:27that. You hit both of them. That's
  264. 7:28That's crazy.
  265. 7:29>> Wait, how? Explain Explain Anthropic,
  266. 7:31please. How did you invest in Anthropic
  267. 7:33and
  268. 7:33>> Just to be honest, it was a buddy of
  269. 7:35mine in Silicon Valley just honestly,
  270. 7:37kid you not, being playing against the
  271. 7:40Warriors and going to a couple of these
  272. 7:41dinners that they were doing just with
  273. 7:43the NBA and sitting there and just
  274. 7:45talking to these guys and really picking
  275. 7:46their brain and they're telling me about
  276. 7:48like, you know, the future of AI and and
  277. 7:51and even the SpaceX so that was more of
  278. 7:52a this sort of direct correlation, but
  279. 7:54>> Mhm.
  280. 7:55>> they're just saying this is where the
  281. 7:56future's going with AI and and and
  282. 7:58technology and I was like,
  283. 8:00"Hey, man, I like what you're what
  284. 8:01you're talking about. You sound like
  285. 8:03you're cool. You sound like
  286. 8:04transparent." And it was just a bunch of
  287. 8:06like
  288. 8:07SF like SF SF guys that's like, "Yo, you
  289. 8:09got to hurt."
  290. 8:10>> Dude, they're like everyone just kept
  291. 8:11telling me I'm like, "All right, man,
  292. 8:12here's a check. I I like
  293. 8:14I'm all in. I want I want to get in the
  294. 8:16game." And then from there they just
  295. 8:17opened up so much so much for me, but
  296. 8:19the cool thing was like I was able to
  297. 8:20like get in in like SPV early and like
  298. 8:23bringing all them other buddies and make
  299. 8:24a bigger check and then that was that
  300. 8:26was
  301. 8:27>> Epic. We were we were talking about full
  302. 8:28pouring our entire lives in Anthropic in
  303. 8:30December. Me and Z were trying to figure
  304. 8:32out how to do that.
  305. 8:33>> Yeah, we fumbled the ball.
  306. 8:34>> Yeah, we were not we were we we
  307. 8:35obviously weren't at that the same
  308. 8:37dinner you were at.
  309. 8:38Maybe maybe next time book the dinner
  310. 8:40[ __ ] like Birds in LA, I'll pull up,
  311. 8:42maybe.
  312. 8:43>> I know first of all, babe, you love
  313. 8:44Birds by the way. I've been seeing you
  314. 8:45in there a couple times. That's like one
  315. 8:46of your go-tos.
  316. 8:47>> You already know.
  317. 8:48We we've we've ran into each other a
  318. 8:50couple times and and met in the same
  319. 8:52room same time at a couple times. Um
  320. 8:55Do you remember any of those instances?
  321. 8:56Like where were we? What were we doing?
  322. 8:58>> I can I can name a couple. I remember
  323. 8:59Birds,
  324. 9:00uh Abel's concert. But honestly, you you
  325. 9:03were you were you were cooking. You were
  326. 9:04you had a lot going on so I was just not
  327. 9:06trying to get in
  328. 9:06>> what was going on? What was going on?
  329. 9:08From
  330. 9:09your From your POV and you can be as
  331. 9:10honest and transparent as you
  332. 9:11want to be.
  333. 9:12>> You had your Chrome Hearts jeans on. You
  334. 9:15had your You know, you had your Chrome
  335. 9:16Hearts jeans with your black T-shirt.
  336. 9:20>> You already know, baby.
  337. 9:21>> Always.
  338. 9:21>> Yeah, yeah. You stay I will say you've
  339. 9:23been loyal to the brand from from day
  340. 9:25one, for sure.
  341. 9:26>> They're family, bro. It's different.
  342. 9:28It's different. I'm not buying I'm not
  343. 9:29buying this [ __ ] off 4G. We're not
  344. 9:30buying this [ __ ] off eBay, bro. We're
  345. 9:32getting it [ __ ] We're go We're going
  346. 9:33down to the factory and picking the [ __ ]
  347. 9:34up. People don't even know this, but my
  348. 9:36little brother actually for a while
  349. 9:37worked at the factory. He worked at
  350. 9:38Chrome, like my actual blood brother.
  351. 9:40Yeah, building like furniture and [ __ ]
  352. 9:42in LA, so it's fam.
  353. 9:44>> Yeah, that's that's good. Yeah, I'm not
  354. 9:45trying to get luxury tax and pay the I'm
  355. 9:47not not paying the luxury tax. No, I'm
  356. 9:48cool. If I'm not direct from the from
  357. 9:50the plug, no thanks.
  358. 9:51>> it's so [ __ ] cool. It's a
  359. 9:52family-owned brand and they don't give a
  360. 9:54[ __ ] about what's going on. It's friends
  361. 9:57and family. Like you said, family
  362. 9:59businesses. Like this is where it
  363. 10:00starts. Like that's the best feeling
  364. 10:01ever, you know, like just
  365. 10:02>> Are they Are they in LA? Chrome?
  366. 10:05>> Yeah,
  367. 10:06every single piece of Chrome on Planet
  368. 10:08Earth is made in LA in the factory.
  369. 10:10Yeah, but they're they're they're based
  370. 10:12heavily also they they split time in
  371. 10:14like New York. And also they have like a
  372. 10:16real [ __ ] HQ base in St. Barts. I did
  373. 10:19St. Barts for New Year's and that was
  374. 10:20[ __ ] just such a cool experience cuz
  375. 10:22everybody Have you ever been to Barts
  376. 10:23for New Year's?
  377. 10:24>> Yeah, but they also have the merch gear,
  378. 10:26too. Did you get the hoodie?
  379. 10:27>> Yeah, no, I didn't get the hoodie. I
  380. 10:28didn't get any of the OVO [ __ ] but I
  381. 10:30bought this bag. This bag there's only
  382. 10:31two of them.
  383. 10:33Me and Christian
  384. 10:34are the only two people who who have it.
  385. 10:36And like they know exactly what the [ __ ]
  386. 10:38to say to me. Cage is like, "Hey, man,
  387. 10:40do you want to buy it?" I'm like, "Well,
  388. 10:41what's the [ __ ] What's the story?
  389. 10:43Like how many are He's like, "Well,
  390. 10:44there's only two." I go, "Well, who owns
  391. 10:46the other one?" He's like, "Me." I'm
  392. 10:47like, "Yeah, man, I'll [ __ ] take the
  393. 10:49bag."
  394. 10:50>> It's like, "So,
  395. 10:51so, just give it to you, bro."
  396. 10:52>> What am I supposed to do, bro? Like 20%
  397. 10:54of my net worth is in [ __ ] Chrome. It
  398. 10:55It actually is. And honestly honestly
  399. 10:57it's been the best thing that I've
  400. 10:59invested in
  401. 11:00no [ __ ] in the last 2 years.
  402. 11:02>> Damn.
  403. 11:02>> I'm up [ __ ] I'm up 500%.
  404. 11:04>> Damn.
  405. 11:05>> Yeah, listen, Chrome Chrome has become
  406. 11:06almost like our Hermes and Birkins have
  407. 11:08been in terms of investments, right?
  408. 11:09Like that Look if you look at the ROIs
  409. 11:10on those it's it's very similar.
  410. 11:13Very similar.
  411. 11:13>> Again Again, name name anything that's
  412. 11:15outperformed Chrome in the last [ __ ]
  413. 11:164 years. Seriously. Retail. Like you
  414. 11:18really you really can't. Especially like
  415. 11:19the custom-made like leather anything
  416. 11:22with hardware on it. Yeah, so wearing
  417. 11:24Chrome, Birds, anything else? Probably
  418. 11:27ZB to my right.
  419. 11:29>> Yeah, concert. Yeah, you know, we get
  420. 11:31concert.
  421. 11:32>> Next time you're in LA, you got to let
  422. 11:33me know.
  423. 11:34>> Yeah, yeah, I live in LA, so um
  424. 11:37>> Yeah, whenever you're back.
  425. 11:38>> Yeah.
  426. 11:39I honestly I'm not going to lie.
  427. 11:40Uh I love the One thing I love about
  428. 11:42holidays is that Kim always gets gets us
  429. 11:45fire chrome gear, so I can't wait for my
  430. 11:47birthday.
  431. 11:48>> Must be nice.
  432. 11:49>> Must be nice.
  433. 11:50>> Yeah, bro. You've spent a lot of time in
  434. 11:52Hollywood, I guess outside like the NBA.
  435. 11:54You've done reality TV, too, right?
  436. 11:56>> Mhm.
  437. 11:57>> Yeah, yeah, yeah.
  438. 11:58>> So, you know a lot about attention. We
  439. 11:59talk about attention um every episode
  440. 12:01essentially, every show. Um how do you
  441. 12:03think like attention you've been able to
  442. 12:06leverage that in your life for positive
  443. 12:08things? I know you talked a little bit
  444. 12:09about being in rooms when you're in SF.
  445. 12:11Like what are some other ways you've
  446. 12:12kind of leveraged attention as as an
  447. 12:14asset outside of your like professional
  448. 12:15career?
  449. 12:17>> Yeah, I mean I think uh
  450. 12:19being able I think this is the beauty
  451. 12:20where I sit at right now. It's kind of
  452. 12:21said the intersection of so many
  453. 12:23different things, whether it's culture,
  454. 12:24sports, reality, celebrity, and you see
  455. 12:26even royalty when I spend a lot of time
  456. 12:28in the Middle East right now. But I
  457. 12:29think it's it's it's it's how you're
  458. 12:31able to leverage that, right? How you're
  459. 12:32able to connect the dots because I think
  460. 12:34and I know it's cliche and and every
  461. 12:36every unc says this, you know, your your
  462. 12:37network is your net worth, but it's
  463. 12:39actually true.
  464. 12:42But it's like a you know it's a true
  465. 12:43statement cuz it's like it's like you
  466. 12:44can I can literally pick up the phone
  467. 12:46and then if like for instance, there's a
  468. 12:48company right now that I'm that I'm
  469. 12:50working with and they are trying to
  470. 12:53raise capital and they want a specific
  471. 12:54target market of of a partner to come in
  472. 12:56and and take a certain amount of the
  473. 12:58equity, right? And the person they're
  474. 13:00looking for is someone that I can think
  475. 13:02in my wheelhouse I can that can be the
  476. 13:04perfect match. So, you get them the call
  477. 13:06and you make the call and you try to
  478. 13:07merge people together and I think for me
  479. 13:09it's about being that ultimate plug,
  480. 13:11right? And I And you see the great, you
  481. 13:14know, investors or founders, they're the
  482. 13:16ones that can connect the dots with the
  483. 13:17with any walk of life. I mean, you see
  484. 13:19what's going on right now with, you
  485. 13:21know, the the the trip that Air Force
  486. 13:23One took, all those people on the on the
  487. 13:24on the plane. I'm like, it's a lot of a
  488. 13:26lot of money, you know, a lot of money
  489. 13:28on one plane. $5
  490. 13:30>> super risky thing, by the way. What the
  491. 13:32[ __ ] happened to that plane, by the way?
  492. 13:34>> Oh, so so you see like President Trump
  493. 13:36has like Jensen Huang, Elon Musk, Tim
  494. 13:39Cook
  495. 13:40>> Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
  496. 13:41>> CEO General Electric. I I'm like a
  497. 13:44little too much net worth on one plane
  498. 13:46for me. I was like
  499. 13:48>> That plane can't go down, bro. That's
  500. 13:50that plane is too important.
  501. 13:52>> You got $20 on one plane.
  502. 13:55>> No, it's insane.
  503. 13:57No, I'm sure I'm sure to a degree,
  504. 13:58obviously we know how narratives [ __ ]
  505. 14:00get spun on Twitter and [ __ ] engaging
  506. 14:02like what's the best [ __ ] you know,
  507. 14:04clickbait thing. I'm sure they took a
  508. 14:06couple separate flights, they had to,
  509. 14:07right? All those [ __ ] on one
  510. 14:09plane is crazy. And why did nobody film
  511. 14:11that? That's insane.
  512. 14:13>> True.
  513. 14:13>> Yo, who's the real like who's getting
  514. 14:15the live right? The the whoever posts
  515. 14:17that on like
  516. 14:18TikTok
  517. 14:18>> It's insane.
  518. 14:20>> Yeah, yeah.
  519. 14:20>> But no, just leverage it, bro. Like just
  520. 14:22trying to For me, it's about helping
  521. 14:24people make money,
  522. 14:26tie people together, and do something
  523. 14:28that to be honest, when we walk in these
  524. 14:30rooms, they're not they're like, "What
  525. 14:31is this tall black guy going to do?
  526. 14:32What's he doing different?" In the same
  527. 14:34way when we met, bro, and you're like,
  528. 14:36"Hopefully not dropping another Davido
  529. 14:38or Waka Flocka coin."
  530. 14:39>> Yeah, like please, please, bro.
  531. 14:41>> I don't know what I mean. I already made
  532. 14:43up God bless you, I made enough money. I
  533. 14:44already got enough money. I don't have
  534. 14:45to drop a [ __ ] coin to make, you know, a
  535. 14:47250k or have Sothebys send text me a CA.
  536. 14:50That guy's annoying as hell.
  537. 14:52>> [ __ ] Sothebys. [ __ ] Sothebys, by the
  538. 14:53way. [ __ ] Sothebys.
  539. 14:56Wow, so you're deep. What was your first
  540. 14:57move in the crypto?
  541. 14:59>> My first move Okay, so this is how it
  542. 15:00actually happened. And I remember I told
  543. 15:02Z this. It was a buddy of mine at the
  544. 15:03time, he bought like some meme coin
  545. 15:05called like Book of Meme. He put like a
  546. 15:07thousand dollars in it.
  547. 15:09>> Ba home.
  548. 15:09>> Yeah, yeah.
  549. 15:10>> Man.
  550. 15:10>> Yeah, ran it up to 50k. And then I
  551. 15:12remember he called me not sleeping, bags
  552. 15:14under his eyes.
  553. 15:14>> he buy that?
  554. 15:16>> So, I guess a friend of his in LA, a
  555. 15:18friend of his in LA was like, "Yo, bro,
  556. 15:20open up a Phantom and buy this
  557. 15:22meme."
  558. 15:22>> Yeah.
  559. 15:23>> He didn't know.
  560. 15:24>> That's what I mean. meme." I don't know
  561. 15:25how much money that [ __ ] made to
  562. 15:27tell that [ __ ] to open up
  563. 15:30Right?
  564. 15:31>> My dog makes 50. This [ __ ]
  565. 15:33definitely made at least like six
  566. 15:34figures for sure.
  567. 15:36>> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
  568. 15:37>> So, he's doing that. He's calling me.
  569. 15:39I'm in Cleveland right now with the
  570. 15:40Cavs. Calling me, he's not sleeping. And
  571. 15:42for me, I've always been about like
  572. 15:43making money, right? Like Cuz we have
  573. 15:45like like I said, athletes make a lot of
  574. 15:47money then they [ __ ] it all up. So, for
  575. 15:48me it's like, "Oh, how can I always
  576. 15:50preserve this and make more?" And
  577. 15:54starting to dive into it. I remember
  578. 15:55going on CT and Z was on your page and
  579. 15:57you were talking about, you know, WIF
  580. 15:59and and I then you see some Jason
  581. 16:01Derulo, random people then a Mardi party
  582. 16:03and I get in this rabbit hole and I'm
  583. 16:05like, "Yo, people are really going from
  584. 16:07like working at like average normal CVS
  585. 16:10of job to being like a millionaire." And
  586. 16:12I was like, "Okay, I got to figure out
  587. 16:13what this is cuz if I'm going to put if
  588. 16:15I'm always the financial
  589. 16:16guru in my locker room, I got to know
  590. 16:18what the what the hell's going on." So,
  591. 16:20dove into it more. Remember talking to
  592. 16:21BlackRock who managed my portfolio at
  593. 16:23the time, a good amount. Telling them I
  594. 16:24want to buy BTC and they're like, "Nah,
  595. 16:26it's too volatile. Don't [ __ ] with it."
  596. 16:29You know, anyone that knows BlackRock,
  597. 16:30you guys love like the best way to say
  598. 16:32it, like they love like talking about
  599. 16:33themselves and love jerking themselves
  600. 16:35off when they talk.
  601. 16:36Right? And I was like
  602. 16:37I was like, "Bro, I'm not doing this."
  603. 16:40I'm like, "Okay, cool. Whatever." I take
  604. 16:41their advice. I'm young, right? Come to
  605. 16:43find out Larry Fink and them are buying
  606. 16:45big Bitcoin. So, I was like, "Okay, cuz
  607. 16:47I can't eat off and you guys want to eat
  608. 16:48off like my capital, you guys are not
  609. 16:50letting me do it." So, that made me dive
  610. 16:51into crypto more and I started buying
  611. 16:53Bitcoin, buying some big BTC and got the
  612. 16:56got the you know, the orange pill they
  613. 16:58like to say and got the bug.
  614. 17:00>> Oh, BlackRock, man. Wow.
  615. 17:02>> Yeah. And then you know, Z, by the way,
  616. 17:03when you talk about DC, I was I was
  617. 17:05averaging in around like $75. So,
  618. 17:07appreciate that.
  619. 17:08>> On which one? Let me say it again.
  620. 17:10>> ZZ
  621. 17:10>> DC
  622. 17:11>> Oh, fire.
  623. 17:12Yeah, you were early. You were on it.
  624. 17:14And they got like the first time I
  625. 17:16mentioned it, it was like 75. That's
  626. 17:18fire.
  627. 17:19>> Yeah, that's fire.
  628. 17:20>> ZEC We like ZEC a lot, bro. We like ZEC.
  629. 17:22We think it's in a good spot.
  630. 17:23>> That's one you can like sit on for two.
  631. 17:25Like, you don't even have to like worry
  632. 17:26about that. You can sit on it for a
  633. 17:27minute.
  634. 17:28>> Yeah. Anthem's really excited. Been bull
  635. 17:30posting the [ __ ] out of Zcash and um
  636. 17:33really strong thesis around it.
  637. 17:34>> Yeah, yeah.
  638. 17:35>> So, Zcash is almost like uh
  639. 17:37the privacy Bitcoin, right? Like, it's
  640. 17:38another layer of that, right? So.
  641. 17:39>> Exactly. Bitcoin but private and also
  642. 17:42quantum resistant.
  643. 17:43>> Solves solves the problems, yeah. That's
  644. 17:46what it is.
  645. 17:46>> Yeah.
  646. 17:47Um yeah, so I know you've worked done
  647. 17:49some like work on the NIL stuff. I don't
  648. 17:52know how much you can talk about that,
  649. 17:53but I think that's been really
  650. 17:55interesting for me to see like these
  651. 17:57college athletes
  652. 17:59now get compensated as they weren't
  653. 18:00getting compensated before or like we're
  654. 18:02getting compensated under the table.
  655. 18:04Yeah, it has been great for like a lot
  656. 18:05of kids who can do or doing well in
  657. 18:07college. And what do you what do you
  658. 18:08think thoughts on that? Like, your
  659. 18:10involvement like around that?
  660. 18:12>> Yeah. Now, I'll dive into it. So, right
  661. 18:13now what I'm doing is uh working with uh
  662. 18:16you know, Capital Hill and Congress
  663. 18:19uh Congress Bill Huizenga. We're working
  664. 18:21on right now cuz NIL is it's almost
  665. 18:23become like the pro sports, right? It's
  666. 18:24it's the amount of money these kids
  667. 18:25these young men are making young women
  668. 18:27are making. It's like real professional
  669. 18:28money, right? Like, there's a
  670. 18:30of ours under Clutch Sports that got a
  671. 18:33$11 million wire sent to his debit
  672. 18:35account, right? Like, that's real money.
  673. 18:37>> Yeah, that's
  674. 18:38>> It's crazy.
  675. 18:38>> Like, that's generational money right
  676. 18:39there for a young kid from the hood,
  677. 18:40right? So, for me it was like, how can
  678. 18:42we protect our young athletes where that
  679. 18:44they're protected so that we can get the
  680. 18:46money managers and one of the one thing
  681. 18:47I'm pushing right now is like financial
  682. 18:49managers where we're pushing the
  683. 18:50universities to allow them the
  684. 18:53opportunity to pick a financial advisor
  685. 18:55in order to be eligible to play, right?
  686. 18:56The same way like let's be real.
  687. 18:59They're saying you have to have these
  688. 19:00grades to be eligible.
  689. 19:01That's cool and all, but having a
  690. 19:03financial manager is actually way more
  691. 19:05important because
  692. 19:06like you guys know,
  693. 19:0770% of your bachelor degrees, you don't
  694. 19:09get a job in that. So, you're telling me
  695. 19:11I only have a 3% of chance of what
  696. 19:12learning in this classroom I'll get a
  697. 19:13job in this field? No, I'd rather
  698. 19:15protect my capital and
  699. 19:16>> absolutely no sense. And you have to you
  700. 19:18have to beg the question like is this by
  701. 19:19design? Like that's where people go down
  702. 19:22these rabbit holes, tin foil hat, like
  703. 19:23are they trying to [ __ ] us over? Are
  704. 19:24they setting us up for failure? Cuz it's
  705. 19:26like, I don't know, education needs a
  706. 19:28[ __ ] crazy reform. I just saw a tweet
  707. 19:30somewhere about um
  708. 19:32Yeah, some some some rate um school rate
  709. 19:34getting slashed cuz not enough people
  710. 19:35are enrolling, not enough people are
  711. 19:36going to college. People are kind of
  712. 19:38starting to figure it out. Um it's
  713. 19:40[ __ ] insane that you don't learn
  714. 19:41about finance or like legal growing up
  715. 19:44like in high school and it's it's crazy
  716. 19:46like you should be learning about should
  717. 19:48be learning about money the same way you
  718. 19:50learn about math and science your entire
  719. 19:51life.
  720. 19:52>> Yeah, and when I'm when I'm really
  721. 19:54pushing is like enough of the suit and
  722. 19:55tie guys that work at Boya and and all
  723. 19:58these like 401k funds telling like Gen Z
  724. 20:01people like
  725. 20:02how to manage your money. Like you need
  726. 20:03guys like us. Like that's what I'm
  727. 20:04pushing like having former athletes come
  728. 20:06in and basically give the free game.
  729. 20:08Like I remember
  730. 20:09when in the NBA when we had Antoine
  731. 20:10Walker come talk to us and he showed us
  732. 20:12his whole balance sheet of like why he
  733. 20:14had that financial situation, right? And
  734. 20:16it was really because one investment in
  735. 20:18Chicago, he burnt $28 million because
  736. 20:21the person that he set up the the entity
  737. 20:22with made him like full liability not
  738. 20:25under an LLC. So, he gets sued as a slum
  739. 20:27slum landlord. You know what I'm saying?
  740. 20:29Where
  741. 20:29>> That's [ __ ]
  742. 20:30>> the entity in the LLC should have took
  743. 20:32the hit. You know what I'm saying? So,
  744. 20:33like that's where his [ __ ] up happened.
  745. 20:35So, it's like for us now it's like
  746. 20:37have former players like myself, a guy
  747. 20:39like Evan Turner, a guy like John Wall.
  748. 20:40These are just names to throw out there.
  749. 20:42Guys that I'm trying to put together
  750. 20:43where we go to these universities and
  751. 20:44like put these put these young people on
  752. 20:46and like try to help them out because at
  753. 20:49the end of the day if you don't make the
  754. 20:50pros, I still want people to be
  755. 20:52protected capital wise where it's like,
  756. 20:53"Hey, go get your entry level job but
  757. 20:56just know we have, you know, mid six
  758. 20:58figures saved up in a money market 4%
  759. 21:01even though I think yielding on chain is
  760. 21:03way better." But like it's like I'm I'm
  761. 21:05something safe.
  762. 21:06>> Sick mission, bro. It's sick. It's
  763. 21:07>> That's awesome. That's legendary.
  764. 21:09>> It's really amazing. If there's any way
  765. 21:10we can ever help or there's any
  766. 21:12alignment with the show or you want to
  767. 21:13bring somebody on or a 15-minute call-in
  768. 21:16spot. We do it once a week, obviously.
  769. 21:18If there's anything we can ever help.
  770. 21:19Obviously, I'm local. I'm right down the
  771. 21:20street from you in LA. If there's ever
  772. 21:22an opportunity for me to help you in
  773. 21:23that, that's [ __ ] awesome. It's It's
  774. 21:24totally in line with why we have the
  775. 21:26show, why this exists.
  776. 21:27I see all day long these kids scrolling
  777. 21:31um
  778. 21:32mindlessly just absorbing and [ __ ]
  779. 21:35consuming all this like sloppy, shitty,
  780. 21:38really unhealthy content with no
  781. 21:39purpose, no intent, scrolling versus
  782. 21:42searching. And I just think I think it's
  783. 21:43really really important to push that
  784. 21:45that rhetoric.
  785. 21:46>> I do think part of it is predatory, to
  786. 21:47be honest. Like I think the lack of
  787. 21:49financial education for
  788. 21:51um that specific group of people, it's
  789. 21:53like those people you you get a lot of
  790. 21:55money really fast and you don't know
  791. 21:56what to do with it. But then it's like
  792. 21:58instead of saying how you can save it,
  793. 22:00it's like there's a lot of brands who
  794. 22:02like will make a [ __ ] ton if you're
  795. 22:04going to go spend that money and blow
  796. 22:06that money. So like all the luxury
  797. 22:07brands, all the designer brands,
  798. 22:09they are literally like attack that
  799. 22:11group more than anything cuz that group
  800. 22:12spends a lot more there than like your
  801. 22:14average person does. So I think I think
  802. 22:16part of it is honestly intentional.
  803. 22:17>> That's a crazy take, but that's so real.
  804. 22:19>> It's very very real.
  805. 22:20>> That's crazy. That's [ __ ] so real.
  806. 22:22>> It's true.
  807. 22:23>> Like all all of you that like the young
  808. 22:25like we like look on Instagram and like
  809. 22:26who's spending the money, right? It's
  810. 22:27all like you know, entertainer.
  811. 22:30>> So you get the clicks on social, too.
  812. 22:32>> Yeah, bro. And like no shade at you got
  813. 22:34to keep up you got to
  814. 22:35>> keep up a persona and an image and a
  815. 22:36brand and [ __ ] Like Like you said, you
  816. 22:38caught me wearing some crazy unfindable,
  817. 22:40archivable chrome. I'm going to have to
  818. 22:41come twice as crazy the next time you
  819. 22:43see me at Birds.
  820. 22:46You know what I'm saying? Like
  821. 22:48>> That's just That's That's That's kind of
  822. 22:50like the LA drug of how it happens,
  823. 22:52right? You have to stay impressed,
  824. 22:52right? But I told him it's swag over
  825. 22:54safety, bro. Swag over safety.
  826. 22:56>> Swag over safety. That's a
  827. 22:57>> It's a swag or vice, brother.
  828. 22:59>> Yeah.
  829. 23:00>> Michael
  830. 23:01Yeah, man.
  831. 23:02>> Cool. It's been really nice talking to
  832. 23:04you and having you on. Is there anything
  833. 23:05else you want to talk about or or touch
  834. 23:07on or
  835. 23:07>> Who do you think's winning this year in
  836. 23:08the playoffs?
  837. 23:09>> we we need we should definitely talk
  838. 23:11about that.
  839. 23:12>> Okay, who I got Okay, so I'm going to go
  840. 23:13with OKC cuz of Shai from the crib.
  841. 23:15That's my little bro. So, I'm going to
  842. 23:17go OKC.
  843. 23:18>> And the flyest. And the flyest.
  844. 23:19>> Flyest. He's fly as [ __ ]
  845. 23:21>> And the flyest on the subject of fly.
  846. 23:24>> twice. So, if anyone's the size, you
  847. 23:26already know who he can get easy fits
  848. 23:27from. So, thanks for letting you know.
  849. 23:29You guys are on the same height, too.
  850. 23:31>> He has the craziest [ __ ] Yeah.
  851. 23:32>> Crazy. But, uh I got OKC. If OKC doesn't
  852. 23:35win, then I got San Antonio. It's It's
  853. 23:37coming out the West. The West is taking
  854. 23:39the chip. Those two teams are way at a
  855. 23:41higher level. Oh, yeah, you I Z, I know
  856. 23:43you love your Knicks, but guess what?
  857. 23:45You and Spike Lee I I get the whole
  858. 23:47orange and blue guys, but it's blue and
  859. 23:49all. But, guess what? I'm happy that the
  860. 23:51Knicks are actually competitive, but
  861. 23:53>> I don't even like I don't even like I
  862. 23:54don't even like the Knicks. I'm I'm I'm
  863. 23:55I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm
  864. 23:56I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm
  865. 23:56I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm
  866. 23:57I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm
  867. 24:00Yeah, I'm I'm Eagles more than anything,
  868. 24:02to be honest, but Sixers just because of
  869. 24:04the same thing. So, yeah.
  870. 24:05>> When it comes to the Eagles, because of
  871. 24:06football, we are Eagles. I know you
  872. 24:08spent a bankroll for Super Bowl, so I
  873. 24:09know you're a die-hard Eagles fan.
  874. 24:11>> I put a I put a hundred on them. And
  875. 24:13that was That was probably one of the
  876. 24:14best days I've ever had, to be honest.
  877. 24:17That [ __ ] was crazy. I was there
  878. 24:18>> Is there a broader market for the West?
  879. 24:20Can we trade just the West?
  880. 24:22>> The West is
  881. 24:22>> Cuz I like I actually like that.
  882. 24:25Or just OKC, can you like
  883. 24:27>> We can do
  884. 24:28>> I I do think if what you said is like
  885. 24:30either OKC or San Antonio, I don't think
  886. 24:32also don't think it's coming out of the
  887. 24:33East, but the Spurs got to go through
  888. 24:35OKC. I do think they actually beat OKC a
  889. 24:38few times this year, though. Like I I
  890. 24:40think
  891. 24:40>> Three or four times.
  892. 24:41>> They did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, it's
  893. 24:43like I don't know if we have anything on
  894. 24:44the West specifically.
  895. 24:46Dang, Shai Shai is 98% to win MVP.
  896. 24:50>> MVP, yes. So, yeah.
  897. 24:53Yeah.
  898. 24:54Yeah.
  899. 24:55>> What do you think about Wemby? You think
  900. 24:56he's uh going to be dominant for a while
  901. 24:58or what do you think?
  902. 25:00>> Bro, Wemby's and I and I remember
  903. 25:01telling you, Wemby's probably the best
  904. 25:03big in our league since prime Shaq.
  905. 25:07What he's able to
  906. 25:08>> Those are big words. Wow.
  907. 25:10>> I'm standing I'm standing on I'm I'm
  908. 25:13stamping that like
  909. 25:15like what he's
  910. 25:16>> is he?
  911. 25:17>> He's 7'6" 8 ft at this point. I mean
  912. 25:20like he's um
  913. 25:22what he's able to do defensively to be
  914. 25:24able to block shots. Literally, when
  915. 25:25guys go in the lane, they'll just throw
  916. 25:27it up there praying it gets close to the
  917. 25:29rim because he's Windexing everything
  918. 25:31right now. He's he's beating up
  919. 25:32everything. Like he's he's making IT
  920. 25:35turn to look like nothing. So, it's like
  921. 25:37he's going crazy.
  922. 25:38>> low-key got handles, too.
  923. 25:40>> He's 3. He's playing at an MVP level.
  924. 25:43>> That's insane.
  925. 25:44>> Yeah.
  926. 25:45>> What is he 7'5"? 7
  927. 25:46>> 7'6"
  928. 25:48>> 7'6" he's bro.
  929. 25:49>> Moves like KD.
  930. 25:51Moves like KD.
  931. 25:52>> He's an alien, bro.
  932. 25:54>> He's like an alien.
  933. 25:55>> Yeah, we we have the poly market on like
  934. 25:57is is the government going to confirm
  935. 25:59aliens? Wemby's already here, bro. That
  936. 26:00should be at 100%. Like 1,000%.
  937. 26:04>> If you told me Wemby was an alien, I'd
  938. 26:05100% believe you cuz I'm like, where in
  939. 26:07the world do you see guys that can walk
  940. 26:08around?
  941. 26:09>> No way.
  942. 26:11>> Like
  943. 26:12Him and Tacko Fall, they're definitely
  944. 26:14aliens.
  945. 26:15>> It gives me anxiety, man. [ __ ]
  946. 26:17>> Bro, I fell I fell into a
  947. 26:18>> How's somebody that big exist?
  948. 26:20>> I fell into a
  949. 26:20>> How do you shoot a tower?
  950. 26:22>> Yeah, facts.
  951. 26:23>> How does he slap How does he slash team?
  952. 26:33>> Oh my god.
  953. 26:34>> Bro.
  954. 26:36>> I actually I actually went into a rabbit
  955. 26:37hole on social media once. I was looking
  956. 26:39at the alien [ __ ] and I got kept getting
  957. 26:41feeding [ __ ] from that uh like alien
  958. 26:44algorithm. Then I came across this page
  959. 26:45that like only talks about conspiracies
  960. 26:47and only talks about aliens and all
  961. 26:49that. Um and they're putting out these
  962. 26:51like long videos. Their thesis is the
  963. 26:54aliens are already here, but they're
  964. 26:56blending in with humans and it's like
  965. 26:58they're trying not to show that they're
  966. 27:00here and then in the future they're
  967. 27:01going to be like, oh yeah, these people
  968. 27:03were aliens.
  969. 27:04I was like, damn. I wonder what like big
  970. 27:07name people, billionaire people would be
  971. 27:09alien. If I had to guess, like out of
  972. 27:11all the billionaires, who's an alien
  973. 27:13doing some [ __ ] that they should not be
  974. 27:14doing?
  975. 27:16That's a intense situation.
  976. 27:17>> mean, probably people probably say Larry
  977. 27:19Ellison and them.
  978. 27:20>> Yeah, like all the the tech guys, right?
  979. 27:22Like the Google, Apple. Yeah, for sure.
  980. 27:25>> What's your guys' top conspiracy?
  981. 27:27I have mine.
  982. 27:28>> Top conspiracy?
  983. 27:29>> You want me to go first?
  984. 27:30>> Yeah, yeah, please, please, please do.
  985. 27:31>> Yeah, go, go, go. Jeffrey Epstein didn't
  986. 27:33didn't commit suicide.
  987. 27:35>> That's that's a fact though, isn't it?
  988. 27:39>> That's not a conspiracy. I feel like
  989. 27:40that's just a fact. He didn't commit
  990. 27:41suicide.
  991. 27:43Obviously not.
  992. 27:45>> Obviously not.
  993. 27:46Yeah, I think I think I'm with you on
  994. 27:48that one, too. All right, yeah. That's
  995. 27:50that's tricky. I mean, the the I don't
  996. 27:52even want to go deep on that on that
  997. 27:53[ __ ] cuz that [ __ ] is [ __ ] in crazy,
  998. 27:55bro. Um,
  999. 27:56I think my my number one conspiracy is
1000. 27:58that the aliens are in the ocean. That's
  1001. 27:59my number one conspiracy.
  1002. 28:01>> Ooh.
  1003. 28:02>> Like I said, if space
1004. 28:03>> And what percentage what percentage of
  1005. 28:04you believes that?
1006. 28:06>> The aliens are in the ocean?
  1007. 28:07>> Yeah.
  1008. 28:08>> Uh, like 80%.
  1009. 28:11>> Bro, what?
1010. 28:13Well, you know you know 70% of the ocean
  1011. 28:14is undiscovered.
  1012. 28:15We haven't we haven't seen the
1013. 28:16>> Bro, THINK ABOUT IT. THINK ABOUT HOW
1014. 28:18MUCH of the ocean we have not seen.
  1015. 28:20Think about it.
1016. 28:21>> Aquaman, Jason Momoa was really down
  1017. 28:23there.
  1018. 28:23>> I I understand this, okay? I understand
1019. 28:25this. My whole my whole logic around
1020. 28:27aliens and why it's been very very hard
1021. 28:29for me to like make the leap to ever
1022. 28:32like any considerable percentage of me
1023. 28:34to believe that aliens have ever been to
  1024. 28:36Earth is I just feel like
1025. 28:39there'd be no there's no reason for
1026. 28:41aliens to like be creeping around and
  1027. 28:42[ __ ] being scheming and like like
  1028. 28:44hiding. Like there's no reason. It'd be
1029. 28:46like us hiding from ants. For an alien
1030. 28:48to be technologically advanced to the
1031. 28:50point where it can travel to Earth,
1032. 28:52they'd be just as advanced to wipe us
  1033. 28:54out without us ever even [ __ ] knowing
1034. 28:56they came here in the first place, which
  1035. 28:57clearly hasn't happened. And in the
1036. 28:59event that they came here to like farm
  1037. 29:00whatever or [ __ ] with us or teach us
  1038. 29:02[ __ ] they would just make themselves
  1039. 29:03known. Like, why the [ __ ] would they be
1040. 29:05hiding? That doesn't make sense to me.
1041. 29:07>> But think about how much they would
1042. 29:08scare people if they just like
1043. 29:09immediately came out of hiding.
  1044. 29:10>> Do you give a [ __ ] about scaring a
  1045. 29:11squirrel or an ant? Do you give a [ __ ]
1046. 29:13about scaring an ant as you step over
1047. 29:15the anthill? Are you like, "Fuck, I got
  1048. 29:16to cross the street. There's a big
  1049. 29:17anthill coming up."
  1050. 29:19I don't want I don't want to scare the
1051. 29:20[ __ ] out of these ants. You know what
  1052. 29:21I'm saying? Like, you don't give a [ __ ]
  1053. 29:23I don't know.
  1054. 29:24>> I Maybe it's like
1055. 29:27I love the aliens discussion by the way.
  1056. 29:28But I think it maybe it's like there's
  1057. 29:30some
1058. 29:31level that we're supposed to get to
1059. 29:33before it's like worth it to expose
1060. 29:35themselves to us. So, like, if you think
1061. 29:37about Like, think about AI, right? Think
1062. 29:39about aliens, you think about AI. If you
1063. 29:41think AI is like possibly the next super
  1064. 29:44intelligence. Like, it's getting smarter
  1065. 29:45and smarter. Right now, it's competing
  1066. 29:47with humans on certain test-taking
  1067. 29:48things.
  1068. 29:48>> That's a lock, by the way. I don't know
  1069. 29:49if that's a conspiracy, but that's a
  1070. 29:50lock. I'm 99.999%
  1071. 29:53positive that that's
1072. 29:55>> So, if you think about If you think
  1073. 29:56about AI, like
  1074. 29:59That's What was that?
1075. 30:00>> All bad things are aliens.
1076. 30:01>> What if all the bad things are aliens?
1077. 30:02What what would you say now?
  1078. 30:03>> Our cults.
  1079. 30:04>> Take me
1080. 30:05Take me Take me to your leader, headass.
  1081. 30:09>> Bro.
1082. 30:10>> Hopefully they Hopefully they like
  1083. 30:11Chrome and [ __ ] skinny white hoes.
1084. 30:16Cuz I got you on that. I got you on
  1085. 30:18that.
  1086. 30:19>> Damn. What if that's how they're
  1087. 30:20reproducing?
  1088. 30:21>> Chrome and tats.
  1089. 30:23>> Oh, man.
  1090. 30:25>> Right?
  1091. 30:26>> Oh, my god.
  1092. 30:26>> I don't know. I think my favorite
1093. 30:28conspiracy, my favorite one to argue
1094. 30:29against and with is the moon landing's
1095. 30:31fake. That one is the best.
1096. 30:33>> no way the moon landing is fake, bro.
  1097. 30:35>> Of course I agree.
  1098. 30:38>> I THINK THAT WAS PHOTOSHOPPED. I THINK
1099. 30:39THAT was not real. I think that was not
  1100. 30:41real.
1101. 30:41>> Oh, here we go, MAN.
1102. 30:43WE WERE SO CLOSE. We were so close.
1103. 30:46Tristan, we were so close. Brother,
1104. 30:47brother, brother, brother, the Bill
1105. 30:50Clinton got impeached and removed as
  1106. 30:52president cuz he got a [ __ ] [ __ ]
1107. 30:54in the Oval Office. And two people knew
  1108. 30:56that that happened. Two.
1109. 30:58Him and the girl sucking his dick. For
1110. 31:01the moon landing to be fake, there would
1111. 31:03have to be I think the stat is like
1112. 31:04100,000 people would have to keep that
  1113. 31:06secret.
  1114. 31:08It's impossible, BRO.
  1115. 31:10LISTEN, WHEN I DON'T KNOW ENOUGH about a
1116. 31:12subject, I tend to lean on people who
1117. 31:14are much smarter than me in that in that
1118. 31:15in that area. Like Ansem with finance
1119. 31:18and tech. Just talk to me, bro. I'm down
  1120. 31:19to [ __ ] follow you off a cliff. Let
1121. 31:22me know what I'm doing. Let me know what
  1122. 31:23[ __ ] Zcash? Say less.
1123. 31:26Neil deGrasse Tyson, when you listen to
1124. 31:27guys like Neil deGrasse Tyson and Michio
  1125. 31:29Kaku and [ __ ] astrologists who are
  1126. 31:31[ __ ] 500 IQ and they're like it's
1127. 31:34like such a trivial question to them.
  1128. 31:35Neil deGrasse Tyson is like, bro, it's a
  1129. 31:36zero it's a less than zero percent
1130. 31:38chance that that shit's fake. You just
1131. 31:40got to like at some point.
  1132. 31:42Yeah, at some point it's like
  1133. 31:45>> That was [ __ ] funny, bro. Yeah, the
  1134. 31:46moon landing can't be fake.
  1135. 31:48>> Yo, I there there is
  1136. 31:49>> Earth is flat is even [ __ ] crazier.
  1137. 31:51That's like get like
  1138. 31:52>> Shout out Kyrie.
  1139. 31:54>> Shout out Kyrie.
  1140. 31:55>> [ __ ] that fool. I'm just kidding. I'm
  1141. 31:56just kidding.
  1142. 31:57I like it. But [ __ ] the flat earth [ __ ]
  1143. 31:59That's crazy.
  1144. 32:00>> Bro, who who's the who's your favorite
1145. 32:01person that you you play with in the
1146. 32:03NBA? Like to who? Like who with?
  1147. 32:06>> That's a tough one. There's a lot of
  1148. 32:07good good
1149. 32:08>> Player and friend. Player and friend.
  1150. 32:10>> Player and friend.
1151. 32:11>> Like who's your favorite teammate of all
1152. 32:12time because of how they play and who's
  1153. 32:14your favorite like
1154. 32:15>> who's your funniest teammate of all
  1155. 32:16time?
1156. 32:17>> Funniest teammate? I mean Kevin Love.
1157. 32:18You guys see his his his his Instagram
1158. 32:21when he was roasting like Miami
1159. 32:22>> so I can see that. I can so see his
  1160. 32:24humor.
  1161. 32:25>> I haven't.
1162. 32:25>> Yeah, Kevin Love's humor is like dark.
  1163. 32:28It's
  1164. 32:28>> I love that.
1165. 32:29>> I think Kevin Love was like born again
1166. 32:31white guy. I think he was probably black
1167. 32:32in his other life because he's trolling
1168. 32:34his like all the brothers he's trolling.
1169. 32:36But uh Kevin Love is definitely one of
  1170. 32:37my favorite human beings.
  1171. 32:39And then, teammates, I would probably
1172. 32:40say probably either LeBron or Kyrie just
1173. 32:43cuz of like watching what they're able
  1174. 32:44to do
  1175. 32:44>> Of course.
1176. 32:45>> one of one. I mean, you saw them in the
  1177. 32:47finals both having 40 points against
  1178. 32:48Golden State.
1179. 32:49You know, like, those guys are doing
  1180. 32:51those guys are generally
  1181. 32:52>> I don't know how your answer isn't
  1182. 32:53LeBron, right? It's like [ __ ] yeah.
  1183. 32:55>> Yeah, [ __ ] it's LeBron.
  1184. 32:56>> Yeah, legend, bro. That's that's crazy.
  1185. 32:59>> Yeah.
1186. 33:00>> Kyrie, I think is one of the most
  1187. 33:01talented players I think I've seen play.
  1188. 33:02His handles are nuts. Kyrie's nuts.
  1189. 33:05>> Yeah, he's 6'2", but he plays like he's
1190. 33:06like 6'7". If you look like no one ever
1191. 33:09blocks his shot. He always is able to
1192. 33:11like he's able to do the ball in like
  1193. 33:12left-hand and he's really right-handed.
1194. 33:14It's crazy. So, can't wait for him to
1195. 33:16get back on the court. So, that'll be
  1196. 33:17good. It'll be good for
1197. 33:18>> Obviously, you have a serious like
  1198. 33:20money-making mindset, entrepreneurial
1199. 33:22mindset, um, positioning yourself for
1200. 33:24the future you talked about earlier. Um,
1201. 33:26how do you think AI is going to like
1202. 33:28affect sports, basketball? How do you
1203. 33:31think it's going to disrupt this market?
1204. 33:32And are there any plays that you're
  1205. 33:33making or positions that you're taking
1206. 33:35or anything that you're building in the
  1207. 33:36background quietly, maybe, um, that's
1208. 33:39kind of in line with that?
1209. 33:40>> Yeah, I think health, I think the health
1210. 33:43AI and health data, so like sports
  1211. 33:45health, I think that's the next step
1212. 33:46just because if you look at the
  1213. 33:47playoffs,
1214. 33:48injuries. I remember last year you had
1215. 33:50Tyrese Haliburton, Jason Tatum, and
1216. 33:52Damian Lillard all tore tear their
  1217. 33:54Achilles. Like,
  1218. 33:55>> That's [ __ ]
1219. 33:55>> sports medicine is cool, but like we
1220. 33:56need the next step. Like, how can AI
1221. 33:58technology and have that data and the
1222. 34:00research be able to protect our our
1223. 34:01athletes, right? And like you said, it's
  1224. 34:02[ __ ] The playoffs when it's the
1225. 34:04biggest stage of the moment, losing your
  1226. 34:05marquee guys, that's not good for
  1227. 34:07basketball. That's not good to make
1228. 34:08money. So, for me, it's figuring out how
1229. 34:11how can we incorporate AI sports
1230. 34:13medicine and like players' loads and
1231. 34:15metrics to figure out what how what's
1232. 34:17the best way to keeping guys on the
1233. 34:18court because that's an issue right now.
1234. 34:19Everyone's talking about load management
1235. 34:21and guys are missing games and skipping
1236. 34:23games. So, I'm trying to figure out
1237. 34:25>> And it's bad for the sport, it's bad for
1238. 34:26the viewership, bad for the market, but
  1239. 34:27also this is like life-shattering [ __ ]
1240. 34:29sometimes in certain instances, right?
  1241. 34:30Like, whole careers get [ __ ] up and,
  1242. 34:33you know, real, I mean, a
1243. 34:35>> guys who get who get hurt like their
1244. 34:36first year or like their last year in
  1245. 34:38college. Like that's [ __ ] crazy. You
  1246. 34:40know what I mean?
1247. 34:41>> Yeah, and just like better coaching,
1248. 34:42right? Like using AI technology to get
1249. 34:43better coaching. Not every coach is
1250. 34:45good. Just cuz you're an NBA coach or a
  1251. 34:46college coach doesn't mean you're good
1252. 34:47at it, right? So like using AI to get
1253. 34:49better drills and who knows if we had a
1254. 34:51better if AI was around and better coach
  1255. 34:53yo you
1256. 34:54Thanks. You might have been like the
1257. 34:55next like you know Luke Kennard or
1258. 34:57>> You never know, brother. You never know.
1259. 34:59You never know. I'm always dreaming and
  1260. 35:01scheming and [ __ ] picking [ __ ] up,
  1261. 35:03putting [ __ ] down. That's actually where
1262. 35:04I think that we have everyone is
  1263. 35:06afforded this opportunity right now. I
1264. 35:08think AI is very good and what I use it
1265. 35:09for in my day-to-day is to just like
1266. 35:11optimize like the structure of my own
  1267. 35:13life. And I'll I'll ask one of my
1268. 35:14favorite things to ask Claude or ChatGPT
1269. 35:17or whatever open Claude is what what am
1270. 35:20I missing here? Like what are some blind
1271. 35:21spots? Like what can I be doing better?
  1272. 35:23Be brutally honest. Don't be biased.
1273. 35:25Don't tell me what I want to hear. And
  1274. 35:26like it's just so good at [ __ ] at at
1275. 35:29finding that, you know, cuz it sees the
  1276. 35:30whole view where you
1277. 35:32as people we get Is that is that Miss
  1278. 35:33Kiff?
1279. 35:36>> Yo, what up, man? What up with us here?
  1280. 35:37>> That's our next guest. Yeah, there's a
  1281. 35:38little there's a little there's a little
  1282. 35:40overlap.
1283. 35:41>> Well, that means you know what I mean?
  1284. 35:42It's like Titi get get get the [ __ ] OFF,
  1285. 35:43RIGHT?
  1286. 35:47>> THAT'S SO GOOD.
  1287. 35:49YO, this is [ __ ] great, bro. Come on
1288. 35:50the show anytime you want. You're the
  1289. 35:51goat. Like you're honestly the best.
1290. 35:54>> Yeah, and I appreciate fellas you know,
1291. 35:56keep up the good work. And then one last
1292. 35:58thing perception of reality is realer
1293. 36:00than reality itself. Never forget that.
  1294. 36:02Come on now.
  1295. 36:02>> It's [ __ ] unfortunately it's true.
1296. 36:04>> believe that. Yo, drop mic drop. Yo, I
  1297. 36:07appreciate you, man. You're the goat.
  1298. 36:09Come back soon.
1299. 36:10Yes. Yes. Love. Love. Thanks for having
1300. 36:11me cuz we both in LA.
  1301. 36:12>> I will. I will, brother. Thank you.
  1302. 36:15>> All right, guys.
  1303. 36:16Later.
