0:54Let's magnify Jesus together.

1:08you. Thank you, Jesus, for this
1:12glorious time in your presence and thank
1:15you for what you've been doing since
1:17last Sunday. Thank you for anointed
1:19ministries and the diverse impartations.
1:23Thank you for the set man over this
1:26ministry. Thank you for the grace and
1:29the anointing. Thank you for this great
1:31church and thank you for your mighty
1:34presence here tonight. Speak through my
1:37lips. Bless this great
1:40congregation. Bless all our viewers
1:42around the world and let today mark a
1:44turning point in everyone's life. Thank
1:47you Jesus.
1:49In Jesus precious name. Amen. Give the
1:52Lord a big hand, please. And you may

2:03seated. It's my privilege to be here
2:07tonight and be part of this great
2:12conference. I love Pastor Bill and his
2:16wife.
2:18I'll do anything any time to be anywhere
2:22that he wants me to
2:28be. From the first time we met, I
2:32knew that God has something for us to do
2:35together.
2:37And I'm blessed and I've been blessed
2:40ever since we began this journey
2:43together.
2:44Thank you, Pastor Bill.
2:47And thank you very much for being a
2:50friend.
2:53I love this church because it's
2:55word-based. I love this church because
2:57it is faithdriven.
3:00And I love these people because we are
3:02the same family.
3:04[Applause]
3:11I'll be sharing with us tonight on what
3:13I've called
3:16unveiling the stronghold of
3:19faith. Unveiling the stronghold of
3:24faith.
3:31The same way the sun shines
3:36everywhere and the moon shows up in
3:39every
3:40nation, so
3:43also the truth triumphs everywhere.
3:52The Bible says, "Thanks be unto God who
3:56always causes also triumph in Christ.
4:01and maketh known by us the server of his
4:04knowledge in every
4:07place. The truth
4:10tris
4:14everywhere. God is no respector of
4:20persons. God is no respector of nations.
4:25He said, "Now I know that God is not
4:27respect of persons, but in every nation,
4:30Acts
4:3210:34, everyone that fears him and walks
4:35uprightly is accepted with
4:38him." Truth is a universal
4:41commodity. He delivers the same value in
4:44every nation of the
4:46earth. Truth is no respector of
4:50nations. Truth is no respector of races.
4:55Revelation 5 and verse 9, he said he has
4:58redeemed us out of every tongue, out of
5:02every kindred, out of every
5:05nation. Jesus the truth redeemed us out
5:09of every tongue, out of every kindred,
5:15out of every nation.
5:18So the truth has same effect in every
5:22nation among every tongue among every
5:27race. God is not a racist.
5:31He so loved the entire world he gave his
5:34only begotten son that whosoever
5:36believes in him should not perish but
5:39have everlasting life. Amen. Amen. In
5:42Romans chapter 10 and verse
5:4612, the Bible says, "Now I know," he
5:49said, "the God, there is no difference
5:53between the Jews and the Greek, for the
5:56same Lord over all is rich unto all that
5:59call upon him." So it's God of all the
6:04earth. No one is advantaged, no one is
6:07disadvantaged.
6:09Ignorance has been the greatest
6:12challenge of man. The ignorance of the
6:16truth will make a failure anywhere, any
6:19time, any day. But the knowledge of the
6:22truth will guarantee your triumph
6:25wherever you are found on the earth. The
6:27truth will always deliver the same
6:31value. The truth will always deliver the
6:34same value. The same
6:37truth that brings us
6:41salvation, sanctification is the same
6:43truth that brings us healing,
6:45deliverance, victory, breakthrough,
6:49prosperity, honor, glory, and blessings.
6:53Same
6:54truth. Same
6:58truth. In Revelation 5 and verse 12, he
7:01said, "Christ has obtained for us
7:05power and Christ is the truth. I am the
7:09way, the truth, and the life. No one can
7:12come to the father except by me." And
7:14Revelation 5:12 said, "The truth has
7:18obtained for us
7:20power,
7:22riches,
7:24strength,
7:26wisdom, honor, glory, and blessings." So
7:31the same truth given us access to this
7:35sevenfold amazing blessings of
7:39redemption. Same truth.
7:43same
7:47truth. The word says, "I'm not ashamed
7:50of the gospel of Christ. It is the power
7:52of God unto salvation to everyone that
7:55believes." So all that Christ offers us
7:59is delivered by faith. Amen. That's why
8:02we need to
8:05examine the mystery of
8:08faith that grants you and me access to
8:12this beautiful wonderful inheritance
8:15that we have in
8:16Christ.
8:18Remember, let him ask him faith or let
8:21not that man think he shall receive
8:23anything from God. Nothing comes down
8:26from heaven except by faith.
8:31As free as salvation is, it comes down
8:34by faith. Amen. Every provision in
8:38redemption is only deliverable by faith.
8:42Without faith, it is impossible for you
8:44and I to access our inheritance. And we
8:47have a
8:48sevenfold all embracing inheritance in
8:51Christ. Think of it
8:54power. Think of it riches.
8:58Think of it wisdom. Think of it
9:01strength. Think of it honor. Think of it
9:05glory. And think of it blessings. There
9:07is nothing anyone is looking for under
9:10the sun that's not
9:12covered. Everything that makes for life
9:15and godliness is embraced in there in
9:18that one verse. And the truth makes it
9:22available. The truth makes it available.
9:25So tonight, I'd like you to be very
9:27sensitive because God is up to something
9:31about your
9:37life. I have often said there is no
9:41mountain anywhere. Every man's ignorance
9:44is his mountain.
9:47There is no mountain anywhere. My Bible
9:49says, "My
9:51people perish for lack of
9:57knowledge." Lack of knowledge of the
10:00truth is what makes a
10:02victim. My people perish for lack of
10:05knowledge. Usia
10:074:6 and Isaiah 5:13, he said, "My people
10:12are gone into captivity because they
10:14have no knowledge."
10:16They are gone into captivity. I've done
10:19all I needed to do, but they are robbed
10:22of everything for lack of
10:26knowledge. They are head in captivity
10:28for lack of knowledge. So I strongly
10:31believe that tonight God is opening a
10:34new chapter to many of us sitting down
10:36here.
10:39The truth will always triumph in any
10:45place.
10:46always triumph in any place. The truth
10:49will always triumph in any
10:53place. What is
10:56faith? Then we can begin to look at the
10:59stronghold of
11:01faith. Faith is clearly the most potent
11:05force in all the
11:06universe. Faith is the most potent
11:10force in the
11:12universe. Why? If thou canst
11:17believe, how many things? All things are
11:22possible to him that
11:25believeth. How is faith the most potent
11:28force in the universe? Because it
11:34confers divinity on humanity.
11:40Jesus said unto men this is impossible
11:43but not with God for with God all things
11:46are possible and he said if thou can
11:49believe all things are possible to him
11:52that believes that means when you are
11:53operating by faith you're operating in
11:56God's class
11:59Mark 9:23 and Mark
12:0210:27 when you operating by faith you
12:05are operating in the very class of God.
12:08Jesus
12:11said, "Whosoever believes in me, the
12:14works that I do shall he do also, and
12:17greater works than these shall he do."
12:21So faith confers divinity on humanity.
12:25Whosoever believes in me. John 14:12.
12:29The works that I do shall he do also,
12:32and greater works than these shall he
12:35do. So faith empowers us to operate in
12:40the very class of God. Faith empowers us
12:44to operate in the very realm of God.
12:47Faith empowers us to handle what only
12:49God could
12:51handle. This is so important. And with
12:55that understanding then we begin to find
12:57out why is faith so
13:00powerful and the saints appear so
13:04powerless.
13:08If faith is so powerful, why are the
13:10saints so
13:12powerless? Something must be wrong with
13:14what we call our
13:18faith. Something must be
13:21wrong. If faith is that potent, why are
13:26we so important?
13:39Now faith is not a mere biblical
13:43principle. Faith is our access to the
13:46power of God.
13:49Romans
13:501:16, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of
13:52Christ, for it is the power of God unto
13:56salvation to everyone that believes. So
14:00faith is not just a biblical principle.
14:04Faith is a spiritual means of
14:08empowerment. We are empowered by faith.
14:11The woman with the issue of blood went
14:13after Jesus touch the hem of his garment
14:15and Jesus said power has gone out of me
14:18and he said thy faith has drawn power
14:21from me. It has made thee whole. So
14:24faith draws on the power of God to
14:27impact on our life. Faith is not just a
14:30biblical principle. It's a spiritual
14:34platform for empowerment. When faith is
14:37at work, power is being released. Power
14:42is flowing. Power is bringing about
14:44changes. So faith is about empowerment
14:49for triumph.
14:51Faith is not a principle we try to use.
14:55Faith empowers us to command results.
15:01That lady was made whole by her faith
15:05drawing virtue from Christ. So every
15:09time your faith comes alive, virtue
15:12flows from Christ to make you
15:15whole. Faith is not a religious
15:20theory. It is a mystery of the kingdom.
15:241 Timothy 3:9 he said holding the
15:29mystery of the faith in a pure
15:33conscience. So faith is not a story.
15:37Faith is a mystery. And what is
15:41mystery? Mystery is a kingdom secret
15:45that gives you
15:47mastery. Kingdom secret that confers
15:50mastery on your life. I have often said
15:54I'm not so surprised that we are seeing
15:56what we see today in our ministry. I
15:58would have been surprised if we didn't
15:59see
16:00them. That means I was too sure they
16:03were
16:06coming. I was fully persuaded by the
16:10mystery of faith that they were coming.
16:13[Applause]
16:16I knew far back in 1982 that we're going
16:18to build a sanctuary that will see
16:2050,000 people. So whatever we saw in the
16:23process is not important.
16:26I knew we're going to build a 50,000
16:28seat auditorium. Why? God said so.
16:38I while we had only one little rickety
16:41Volkswagen Bele, I knew we were going to
16:44be flying as far back as April
16:471982. Why? God said so. Yes, sir. I'm
16:51coming. I'd like you to please
16:53understand this that we are not serving
16:56a fake God.
17:01We are not serving a fake
17:07God. Every time faith comes
17:10alive, God's integrity is committed to
17:13deliver.
17:15He said, "What you believe not? What if
17:17you believe not?" Yet he abides
17:18faithful. cannot deny himself.
17:23Faith is not a religious logic. It's a
17:26spiritual weapon. He said, "Above all,
17:30taking the shield of faith and you'll be
17:32able to quench all the fiery darts of
17:35the devil." Ephesians chapter 6 and
17:37verse 16. Faith is not a religious
17:41logic. It is a spiritual weapon.
17:45Faith is not a biblical philosophy. It's
17:49an
17:50everwinning spiritual force. This is the
17:54victory that overcomes the world, even
17:57our faith. It's an
18:00everwinning spiritual force. Faith is
18:03not a biblical philosophy. It's an
18:07everwinning spiritual
18:10force. 1 John chapter 5 and verse 4.
18:21That's why it's very important for us to
18:22find out what kind of faith is it that
18:32works. What kind of faith is it that
18:36works?
18:50If faith is that
18:52potent, why must we remain so impotent,
18:56so helpless, so
18:59frustrated, there must be something
19:01wrong with what we call
19:05faith. And we need to put that right
19:08now.
19:12We have always thought that faith comes
19:15by hearing the word of God. That's true.
19:19But it's much more than
19:21that.
19:23Faith
19:25comes not just by hearing the word of
19:28God, but principally by hearing from
19:32God.
19:35Romans
19:3610:17. Faith comes not just by hearing
19:40the word of God. Faith comes much more
19:44importantly by hearing from
19:47God. Hearing from God. If you check the
19:51heroes of faith as documented in Hebrews
19:54chapter
19:5511, 80 to 90% of them came on that list
19:59by hearing directly from God.
20:03hearing directly from God.
20:07Think of Abraham, the father of faith.
20:09Amen.
20:11The stronghold of Abraham's faith was
20:15access to the voice of God. Amen. Now
20:18the Lord said to Abraham, "Get out of
20:20thy country from thy kindred into I show
20:22you, and I will there make of thee a
20:24great nation. I'll bless you and make
20:26thy name great, and thou shalt be a
20:27blessing." And so Abraham departed. Yes.
20:32Most of us have been hearing the word
20:35but we have not been hearing from God.
20:37Yes sir. Yes sir. Yes sir. Hearing from
20:41God is the stronghold of faith. No one
20:46hears from God and doubt him.
20:50[Applause]
20:53The voice of God is the cure for the
20:58doubts of life. You can't hear from God
21:02and doubt him. No, the voice of the Lord
21:07is mightier than the voice of many
21:10waters. You can hear from God and doubt
21:13him. Abraham heard from God. Get there
21:17to thy country. At the age of 75, he had
21:21no problem believing God because hearing
21:24from God infuses supernatural faith. You
21:28can't hear from God and doubt him.
21:33You can't hear from God and not believe
21:36him. You can't hear from God and not
21:40prove by acting on what you have heard.
21:45The stronghold of faith is access to the
21:49voice of God.
21:53All great stories in the kingdom, they
21:57are tracable to God told
22:00me. God said to me, God told me. God
22:06said to me, God said go. God said stop.
22:11God said move. God said go. No, that's
22:14all it
22:15takes. The voice of God is the
22:19stronghold of faith. Yes sir.
22:24Think of Moses.
22:27No normal person would dare an
22:31institution, a nation as Moses did. But
22:34the voice of God makes you dare the
22:37undarable.
22:39The voice of God will make you dare the
22:42undarable.
22:44The voice of God will make you think the
22:46unthinkable. Amen. The voice of God will
22:49make you move the immovable
22:52because Moses heard from
22:55God. Now I've seen the affionition of my
22:58people. Come now and I will send you to
23:00to Egypt that you may bring out my
23:02people Israel. Exodus 3 7 to8. And he
23:06said oh tell Pharaoh that Israel is my
23:09son even my firstborn. If you don't let
23:10my son go I will kill your son because
23:12I'm going to set my son free. Now he was
23:14hearing that directly from God. Okay,
23:18Pharaoh is coming on that street now. Go
23:19meet him and tell him Pharaoh let my
23:21people go. No protocols.
23:24Now you see when you hear from God it is
23:29irresistible voice.
23:32Irresistible. Now here what he said to
23:34Moses. Exodus 7:1. He said, "See, I have
23:38made thee a god unto Pharaoh."
23:42God told him. So immediately Moses knew
23:47his new status.
23:49He didn't approach Pharaoh as a man. He
23:53approached Pharaoh as a god. He said,
23:56"See, I have made thee a god unto
23:59Pharaoh, and Aaron thy brother shall be
24:02thy prophet."
24:04Now think of it. Here they
24:07were by the Red Sea. And the Lord said,
24:11"Why are you crying unto me? Tell the
24:14people that they go forward."
24:18Exodus 14:15. So they saw the Red Sea
24:22and they were moving because you can't
24:24resist the voice of his
24:27majesty. Tell them that they go for
24:30what? Go forward to where? Into the sea.
24:33Yeah.
24:37And the Bible records, the sea saw them,
24:41it fled.
24:45Psalm 114 verse
24:471-9, the sea saw them, it fled. The
24:52voice of his majesty is the cure for the
24:56doubts of life. If you can assess his
24:59voice, you are free.
25:02Think of
25:03it. The Lord spoke to Abraham and
25:08said, "This is my covenant with you. You
25:11will circumcise every male born in your
25:14house and that is bought with your
25:16money." And without any
25:20fear, Abraham took a stone, circumcised
25:23himself, and all the men in his house
25:26because his voice is
25:29irresistible. The voice of the Lord is
25:32irresistible. Amen. Listen to me. And
25:35then God said to him, "Take thy son only
25:37son Isaac whom thou
25:41lovest and take out on the mountain. I
25:43will show you." And then you circum you
25:45sacrifice him there. And Abraham rose up
25:48early in the morning took his son and
25:51began to go. So when we talk about the
25:54faith of
25:56Abraham, we must understand the root of
26:00it. The voice of God is the stronghold
26:04of Abraham's faith. The voice of God was
26:08the stronghold of Moses faith. The
26:11reason why our faith seems to be
26:13important today is that we have
26:17not been
26:20experiencing access to his voice like
26:23the heroes of faith that we know of.
26:25Yeah. And tonight I pray that every
26:29spiritual deafness be healed in this
26:32room
26:32[Applause]
26:43tonight. This is so
26:45important. God still speaks today.
26:54God still speaks today. He said, "I am
27:00the Lord. I change not." You know what
27:04the apostle said in Acts 4:20? We cannot
27:09but speak those things we have heard and
27:13seen. We cannot but speak those things
27:16we have heard and seen. We cannot but
27:19speak the things we have heard. What did
27:22they hear? He said, "And that voice we
27:26heard when we were with him on the
27:27month." Second Peter 1:1 19, they heard
27:31the voice saying, "This is my beloved
27:34son. Hear ye him." And that made them
27:37unshakable in the face of challenge.
27:41We cannot but speak those things we have
27:44heard and we have seen. This is so
27:46important.
27:53Therefore, access to Remma is the
27:56bedrock for unshakable
27:58faith. Access to the voice of God is the
28:02bedrock for
28:03unshakable faith.
28:06Access to Rema is the bedrock for
28:10unshakable faith.
28:18Your faith and my faith stands to be
28:22shaky if it's not rooted in the voice of
28:25God. It's time to be shaky if it's not
28:28rooted in the voice of God. That's why
28:31tonight I want to spend the time we have
28:35trying to look at how to assess the
28:37voice of God.
28:40How to assess the voice of God?
28:47What does it take to assess the voice of
29:00God? It's important first for me to say
29:02this that God speaks to us through a
29:05number of channels. one, he speaks to us
29:09directly as it was with Abraham, with
29:13Isaac. You know, he said to Isaac, "Thou
29:16shall not go down to Egypt. Dwell in
29:19this land. Your blessing is here." So
29:21the breakthrough of Isaac was rooted in
29:25the voice of God that he had access to.
29:27Genesis
29:2926:1, "Thou shall not go down to Egypt.
29:32You dwell in this land." And Isaac went
29:35forward. He was strong. He became very
29:37great. The Philistines envied him. He
29:39had his faith was built on the voice
29:42that came to him. And God spoke to the
29:44man called Jacob. He said, "What is thy
29:47name?" He said, "Jacob, thy name shall
29:48no longer be Jacob, but Israel. For as a
29:50prince that has power with God and with
29:52man and has prevailed and Jacob truly
29:54prevailed from a person, he became a
29:56nation." Today we have the nation of
29:58Israel. The voice of God can change
30:01anybody's story dramatically.
30:04Anybody. So God speaks to people
30:08directly. God spoke to Moses directly.
30:12Everywhere you see and God said and God
30:14said and God said and God said and God
30:17said and God said. All through the story
30:19of Moses God said God said God said and
30:23through the voice of God he got 3
30:25million people fed daily for 40 years.
30:31Through the voice of God, he had water,
30:33water supplies for them, including
30:36washing their clothes.
30:403 million people. A rock was following
30:42them. A mystery.
30:46That was a
30:47mystery. Their legs were not swollen.
30:49Total healthcare delivery.
30:54There was not one feeble person among
30:55their tribes. I mean there is so much in
31:00the midst of faith. There is so much in
31:03it. But at the root of it is access to
31:07the voice of God. If you can hear from
31:10heaven, the earth will hear you. If you
31:13can hear from heaven, this earth must
31:15hear you. So God still speaks directly
31:20to people. Yeah. Number two, very
31:23importantly, God speaks to us through
31:26his word.
31:28Behind every verse of scriptures is the
31:32voice of God.
31:34Isaiah
31:3634:16. Isaiah 34:E 16. It said, "Seek ye
31:40out of the book of the law and read.
31:42None of these shall fail, neither shall
31:44anyone made. For my mouth it has spoken
31:48it and my spirit it has gathered them.
31:51So every verse of scripture has the
31:54voice of God behind it. Every verse of
31:58scriptures has the voice of God behind
32:02it. 1976 the Lord spoke to me from
32:06Matthew chapter 6 and verse 6 verse 33.
32:10He says, "Seek you first my kingdom, and
32:12all these things that others are dying
32:15to get, they shall be added to you."
32:20Now, from 1976 September 12 till date, I
32:25have not had anything to
32:28ask. God has simply been adding anything
32:31I would need to me and he has never
32:34failed once. Now behind that scripture
32:37was the voice of his majesty. And when
32:41that voice came, it was so strong. I
32:44entered into a
32:46vow to make that my lifestyle. I've
32:50never had occasion to regret it till
32:52now.
32:56Seek ye first my
32:57kingdom
32:59and all its
33:02demands and all these things that others
33:05are dying to get shall be added to
33:10you. Very
33:14simple. Behind every verse of scriptures
33:18is the voice of God.
33:221983 I was up in a meeting with my field
33:26staff and we were praying and the Lord
33:29said to me from Psalm
33:3234:5 my
33:34son you have two eyes I said yes can you
33:37make one to look up and one to look down
33:39and I tried it didn't work he said
33:41anytime you are looking onto man never
33:43claim to be looking onto me but they
33:46looked unto him and they were lightened
33:48and their face were no more ashamed
33:52very graphic picture. That was where I
33:54came by the law of absolute dependency
33:58on God. Looking at no man for any help,
34:03including myself,
34:06looking at no man. I mean, we have God
34:09has given us a blessed ministry, but I
34:12am not the sponsor of that ministry. So,
34:14I sleep like a
34:17baby. I'm not the sponsor. I have no
34:20worries of any kind on that ministry
34:23forever. I don't have no
34:24[Applause]
34:29worries. We have about 11,000 workforce
34:33that draws pay every
34:37month. But I couldn't feel nothing
34:40because I'm not the one bearing that.
34:43The voice that came on the 9th of
34:46September
34:481983 set me free from looking to myself
34:52or looking to people for
34:58help. Behind every verse of scriptures
35:02is the voice of God.
35:05In Hebrews chapter 10
35:095-7 in the volume of the books it is
35:13written of me. So there are things
35:15written of you. When you get there he
35:18unveils it to you that this is you I'm
35:21talking to. Then you are off running.
35:24Jesus found where it was written. The
35:26spirit of the Lord is upon me and he
35:28said this day is the scripture fulfilled
35:30in your eyes. There are things written
35:32of you and me in the volume of the book.
35:35And when the Holy Ghost leads you into
35:37it, the voice of God comes alive from
35:39it.
35:42Hear what he said in Psalm
35:4429:3-5. He said, "The voice of the Lord
35:47is upon the waters." He said, "The
35:51Almighty thunderereth." The voice of the
35:54Lord is upon many waters. He said, "The
35:57voice of the Lord is powerful. The voice
35:59of the Lord is full of majesty. Now
36:01let's look at what does he mean by
36:03water. Ephesians 5:26 that thou mightest
36:07cleanse her by the washing of water by
36:09the word of God. That means the voice of
36:11the Lord is upon the
36:14scriptures. The voice of the Lord is
36:16upon every scripture. The Almighty
36:20thunder from
36:21scriptures to bring us out of any
36:24trouble. The voice of the Lord is there.
36:27So he speaks to us through scriptures.
36:31Number
36:33three, the Lord also speaks to us by the
36:38spirit. For when it's
36:40come, he would guide you into all truth.
36:44For he shall not speak of himself, but
36:47whatsoever you shall hear, thou shall he
36:48speak, and he will show you things to
36:50come. John 16:12 and 13. He speaks. The
36:54spirit of God speaks. The spirit of God
36:57speaks. The spirit of God speaks. That
37:00is God speaks to us through the Holy
37:03Spirit. He speaks to us through the Holy
37:06Spirit. So we can hear the voice of the
37:09spirit. You know in Revelation
37:132:7 and all the way through, he said,
37:15"Let him that have ears, let him hear
37:17what the spirit is saying to the
37:19church." So the spirit is still speaking
37:22to the church. He hears from God and he
37:25speaks it to us. He receives it from the
37:28Lord and he releases it to us. The
37:30spirit of God is still speaking up till
37:32now.
37:34God speaks to us through the Holy
37:38Spirit. God speaks to us through the
37:40Holy Spirit. Now these are the three
37:43main areas that the Holy Spirit or that
37:47God speaks to his people directly
37:49through the word and through the
37:51ministry of the Holy Spirit.
37:54Now, how do we connect with this? Now,
37:58God is speaking all the time.
38:03He runs a 24/7
38:06system, but you have to tune in before
38:09you can get hear him. The TV set is
38:12working all the time, but you have to
38:13tune in to know what's going on there.
38:15God is speaking all the time, but how do
38:17we tune in to get there? Number
38:21one, to hear the voice of
38:25God, you must be spiritual because a
38:29natural man receives not the things of
38:31the spirit. 1 Corinthians
38:332:14. Neither can he know them because
38:36they are spiritually
38:38discerned. The voice of God operates
38:41through a spiritual frequency. You have
38:44to tune in to get it. Only the spiritual
38:49can assess the voice of God. Only the
38:52spiritual can assess the voice of God.
38:56Only the spiritual can assess the voice
38:59of
39:03God. In Revelation 1 and verse 10, he
39:06said, "I was in the spirit on the Lord's
39:08day, and I heard a voice saying, I am
39:12alpha and omega." Amen. I was in the
39:16spirit and I heard. I was in the spirit
39:21and I heard. I was in the spirit. So if
39:24you are not in the spirit, you can't
39:25hear the voice of the spirit. Yes sir.
39:28Yes sir.
39:32To you when you hear a dog you say is
39:34barking but another dog is speaking.
39:40When you hear a sheep to you is bleeding
39:42but another sheep is speaking.
39:46So you have to be in the ship realm to
39:48hear what the sheep is saying.
39:54In the same way you have to be in the
39:57realm of the spirit to hear what the
39:59spirit of God is saying. This is where
40:02our problem is.
40:07A can a kind of man receiveth not the
40:09things of the
40:14spirit because their foolishness to him.
40:17Neither can he know them because they
40:20can only be assessed by spiritual
40:23people. He cannot know them.
40:32We had very interesting experience. 1996
40:35they took me to where our facility now
40:36is in Lagos. I was very upset because it
40:40was off the town completely off. I mean
40:44Dr. Bill W and his wife been there off.
40:47I was very upset intellectually
40:52tormented because it's contrary to every
40:54church growth principle I've ever read.
40:57How do you go into the midst of a jungle
41:00and you expecting people to come all all
41:02the way from town to come in there for
41:04what? And so when we got there, I got
41:06upset naturally, but when we got there
41:08and I said, "Now folks, let's pray.
41:10Father, thank you for all of the efforts
41:13in citing this place. What exactly are
41:16you saying?" And the Lord said to me,
41:18"This is the place.
41:20This is the place you can't hear from
41:24God except you are spiritual.
41:29Only the spiritual can access the voice
41:32of the spirit. And after hearing that
41:35that was all I needed. I had no iota of
41:39doubt in any part of my system as to
41:42whether it will work or not. Not one.
41:46Last Sunday we served communion to
41:48164,000 people.
41:52right in the midst of the jungle
41:55because God said so
41:59because God said so. It's so important
42:04for us to know that it's time we become
42:07spiritual.
42:09The church is growing increasingly
42:13cannor. People are not committed to
42:17things of the spirit anymore.
42:20That's why our
42:23faith has stopped
42:31producing. We must be spiritual. We must
42:35be spiritual. We don't have a choice. If
42:38you want to make the most of your
42:40journey, you have to be spiritual.
42:44You have to be spiritual. To be
42:46spiritually minded is life and peace.
42:47And to be cannally minded is
42:50death. We have no choice but be
42:59spiritual. The fear of the Lord they say
43:01is the beginning of wisdom and the
43:03knowledge of the Holy is understanding.
43:05We have to be
43:07spiritual. Unto us is given to know the
43:10misses of the kingdom of God. But to
43:12them that are without, all these things
43:14are in parables. We have to be
43:16spiritual. It's one thing to be saved.
43:18It's another thing to be within. We have
43:21to be
43:23spiritual. We have to understand that
43:25the fear of God is fundamental to your
43:28fulfillment of destiny. We have to know
43:30that. We have to be spiritual. Number
43:33two, we have to engage in a quality work
43:36in the spirit. Quality work in the
43:39spirit. In Galatians 5:25, he said, "If
43:42we live in the spirit," Galatians
43:44chapter 5 and verse 25, "If we live in
43:47the spirit, let us also walk in the
43:50spirit." If we live in the spirit, let
43:53us also walk in the spirit. It's one
43:56thing to be spiritual. It's another
43:58thing to be walking in the
44:01spirit. It's one thing to be spiritual.
44:04It's another thing to be operating in
44:06the spirit.
44:09To be spiritual, you are there praying.
44:12You're there studying the word. But to
44:15be walking in the spirit means to be
44:18sensitive to the dictates of the spirit,
44:23in your daily work. Sensitive to the
44:27dictates of the spirit in your daily
44:30work.
44:33If we live in the spirit, let us also
44:37walk in the spirit. If we live in the
44:40spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.
44:44So, we need to be sensitive to a walk in
44:47the
44:48spirit. We need to be sensitive.
44:53I remember many years ago
44:581981 I was out to check on a friend and
45:01I couldn't meet him there and as soon as
45:03I got to the door I met his absence
45:06immediately it occurred to me and I said
45:08with my mouth all things work together
45:10to the advantage of them who love the
45:12Lord and the Lord said to me almost
45:16immediately my son seek a quiet place I
45:18want to talk to
45:19you the entire thing we call the
45:22ministry today came from that
45:25encounter. If we live in the spirit, let
45:27us also walk in the
45:29spirit. I was naturally upset but
45:32spiritually
45:34sensitive. Spiritually sensitive. And
45:37the Lord said to me, "Seek a quiet
45:39place. I want to talk to you." This
45:42whole vision came out of that simple
45:45encounter. This whole vision came out of
45:47that. If we live in the spirit, let us
45:50also walk in the spirit. If we live in
45:52the spirit, let us also walk in the
45:56spirit. 1986, we were about to start our
45:59Bible school and then a week to the time
46:01we had not gotten a facility for it, the
46:04property where we're going to use. And
46:05my wife said to me, the school is
46:07starting a week's
46:09time, where are they going to resume to?
46:11And I replied humorously, is it your
46:14school?
46:16And as soon as I said that in faith, the
46:20Lord opened my eyes to a property in the
46:22city and he said that is the Bible
46:24school. And I got down to the office. I
46:26called one of the staff. I said, "Get in
46:28there. There's a property and so and so
46:29place. That's where the Bible school
46:30will be." And here what happened? This
46:33fellow got there to the property and met
46:35the owner of the property standing in
46:37front and said, "Hello, sir. Are you the
46:39owner of this property?" He said, "Jesus
46:40is the owner. I'm the caretaker."
46:43He said we need it for Bible school. For
46:45Bible school then it's free.
46:48Now same day if we live in the spirit
46:54let us also walk in the spirit.
46:58Let us also walk in the spirit. There
47:01are many many spiritual people who are
47:04not walking in the spirit. They are only
47:08spiritual when it's time to pray. They
47:10are spiritual when it's time to study
47:11the word. They are spiritual when they
47:13in church but they are not walking in
47:16the spirit and that's what makes all the
47:18difference because God can choose to
47:23give you directives at any time in the
47:26morning in the afternoon in the night.
47:30Yes. I was in the bathroom when God
47:33said, "Arise, get down to Lagos. Raise
47:35me a people." I wasn't in the prayer
47:37room.
47:40I was in the bathroom.
47:44Now I was driving a car. I was sitting
47:47in the car when God said to me the
47:50harvest of Africa is now override. Rush
47:52in and preserve it from decadence. I was
47:55in the car. I wasn't in the prayer room.
47:58I was in the church. When the mandate
48:00that is now blowing hot in 45 nations of
48:03Africa was delivered.
48:05I was in the car. If we live in the
48:08spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.
48:12It's time for us to understand that
48:14spiritual things only answer to
48:16spiritual people.
48:18Spiritual things only answer to
48:20spiritual people. Spiritual things only
48:23answer to spiritual
48:29people. Number three, we must engage in
48:32a lifestyle of praise. A lifestyle of
48:36praise. Isaiah chapter 30 and verse
48:4129-31. Thou shalt have a song as in the
48:44night. Isaiah 30 29-31. When the holy
48:47soy is
48:49kept, he said, "And the Lord will cause
48:52his glorious voice to be
48:55heard. And through the voice of the Lord
48:57shall the Assyrians be beaten down that
48:59smoke with a rod. You shall have a song
49:03and the Lord shall cause his glorious
49:05voice to be heard. You shall have a song
49:09then you can assess the voice. You shall
49:11have a song. People are so depressed
49:15that there is no way they can hear from
49:16God. You shall have a song and then the
49:21Lord will cause his glorious voice to be
49:24heard. Without a song, no access to the
49:27voice. Yes. Now remember in 2 Kings
49:313:15, Elisha said, "Bring me a singer.
49:34And as she began to play, the hand of
49:38the Lord came upon Elisha." And the
49:40voice of the Lord came calling. You
49:43shall have a song. Then the Lord will
49:45cause his glorious voice to be heard.
49:47You shall have a song. Then you can now
49:50hear the voice. You don't have a song,
49:53you can't hear the voice.
49:56You don't have a
49:57voice, a song, you can't have the voice.
50:00You know, Paul said, "Rejoice in the
50:03Lord always." And again, I say,
50:04"Rejoice." He said, "Rejoice ever more."
50:07I want you to know what is in
50:09joy. If you are not joyful, you can't
50:12assess his voice. Without his voice, you
50:15remain a victim.
50:17So rejoice in the Lord. And again, I
50:19say, rejoice. Rejoice ever more.
50:25The truth is this. God's people I hear
50:27from God every day.
50:30God speaks to me every day. I've never
50:34needed anyone to encourage me in 30
50:37years. I've never needed encouragement
50:39in 30 years. That someone will sit with
50:41me and say, "Oh, brother David, don't
50:42get worried. There is no worry around
50:46me." In the presence of the Lord, there
50:48is fullness of joy. Now, let me tell you
50:50this. The devil wants to depress you so
50:53as to rob you of God's presence.
50:57He wants to depress you to rob you of
50:59access to God's voice. He wants to
51:02depress you to keep you in captivity.
51:05You cannot be oppressed until you are
51:07first depressed.
51:10Therefore, be free from every spirit of
51:13depression in the name of Jesus.
51:17be free from every spirit of depression
51:19in the name of Jesus.
51:22And then of course number four, engage a
51:26lifestyle of prayer and fasting. I think
51:30that's where we have the problem down
51:33here. Engage a lifestyle of prayer and
51:38fasting.
51:42Prayer is not a
51:44rescue
51:46system. Prayer is a lifestyle.
51:50Jesus said when ye pray, not if ye pray.
51:56Matthew 6:6 to8. He said, "But thou when
52:00thou prayest." So it's an issue of when.
52:03It must be a program of your life. when
52:06ye pray you when thou prayest and when
52:10ye pray now he went on in verse 16 of
52:13the same Matthew chapter 6 he said when
52:15ye fast
52:17but thou when thou fasteth now so prayer
52:21and fasting according to the teaching of
52:23Jesus is supposed to be our way of life
52:29a lot of people here have testimonies of
52:32the presence of God that comes on them
52:34when they stand waiting on him. Very
52:39strange. Until prayer and fasting
52:43becomes your
52:44lifestyle, you far
52:47from access to this realm of faith. This
52:51realm of faith requires that you learn
52:54how to stand upon your watch and set
52:58yourself upon the tower to hear what he
53:00will say to you. And the Lord said,
53:02"Ride the vision."
53:04And the Lord said, "Ride a vision."
53:07Think of it. I was waiting on the Lord
53:10when the Lord delivered me from the
53:13tendencies for
53:15indepedness.
53:171981 and I saw in my Bible waiting on
53:20the Lord Deuteronomy 15:6, he said, "The
53:25Lord thy God blesses you as he has
53:26promised you, and thou shalt lend unto
53:28many nations, but thou shalt not
53:31borrow." And I said why? He said because
53:36borrower is servant to the lender. I
53:38said but why Lord? He said and you
53:40cannot serve two masters. We have to
53:42choose one and despise the other. I said
53:45Lord I choose
53:46you. October 4, 1981, God deliver me
53:50from the trap of depth.
53:53I have never owned a
53:55dime or borrowed a dime from any mort
53:58man living or dead since 1981.
54:02God has now see when you wait on the
54:05Lord he said then shall your light break
54:08forth out of our security your light
54:10will break forth as the morning we need
54:12a breaking forth when we are away from
54:16the body we are present with the Lord
54:20we need to know how to be present with
54:22the Lord most of the things working in
54:24my life today they came by waiting on
54:27the Lord and it's working it's working
54:301982 I sat and I said, "God, show me the
54:33secret of kingdom prosperity." And I
54:35took the Copeland's books and my Bible
54:38to wait on the Lord for three days. On
54:39the third day, light broke out. And the
54:42Lord said, "My son David, my prosperity
54:45plan is not a promise." So, it does not
54:46answer to prayers. It's not a promise.
54:49There's no respect for fasting. My
54:51prosperity plan is a covenant. Until
54:53your part is played, I am not committed.
54:56Direct remma from heaven. And I said,
54:59"What is my part? Why the remained satan
55:02and har shall not cease. I heard from
55:06God. I screamed and I said I can never
55:09be poor. That was the day God took me
55:12out of any realm of
55:14poverty. Waiting on the Lord helps you
55:17to hear God
55:18clearly. Your hearing becomes more
55:21distinct. You can tell exactly what God
55:24is saying for you to do and then you are
55:26up running. Prayer and fasting must
55:29become our lifestyle if we must
55:33enjoy God's plan and purpose for the
55:37hour. And as we close
55:41tonight, you want to hear from God
55:44because he speak through his word.
55:46Engage in the
55:48search for the truth.
55:52Engage in the search for the truth on
55:55any subject matter. Engage in the search
55:58for the
56:00truth. God speaks to us through his
56:07word. If you are challenged in any area
56:10and you want to hear what God is saying,
56:12then pick on those materials that show
56:14where it is and then you can find what
56:17God is saying. You know he said I have
56:20also spoken by the prophet and have
56:23multiplied visions and used similitudes
56:26through the ministry of the prophets. We
56:28see 12 and verse 10. So you collect
56:30materials that will help your
56:32understanding on the subject matter and
56:34then God speaks to you through those
56:36materials to know what exactly to do. If
56:40you know what he
56:43knows and you hear what he hears, you
56:46will get the same result that he get.
56:49God is no respector of persons. And God
56:52multiplies visions through the ministry
56:54of prophets. He multiplies visions
56:57through the ministry of apostles. You
56:58hear them and then God opens you up to
57:01what is next for you to do in life. My
57:03prayer today is that every one of us
57:06here will begin to
57:08explore the unlimited
57:12opportunities in
57:14faith. Faith has the answer to all human
57:18questions.
57:20Faith has the answer to all human

57:26human questions. Faith has the key to
57:30every door you want to see opened.
57:34Faith has the cure to every disease that
57:37may come on your life.
57:40Faith has the victory in every battle
57:42that you may ever be confronted with.
57:45As as far as God is concerned, it is to
57:48every man according to his faith. And
57:51the stronghold of faith is access to the
57:54voice of God. You can't hear him and
57:58doubt him. You can hear him and not
58:00believe him. You can hear him and not
58:03get results. The voice of God will
58:05always generate testimonies. Any day,
58:08any time, anywhere. The Bible said, "And
58:11in his temple does everyone speak of his
58:13glory." In his temple, everyone speaks
58:16of his glory.
58:18Today, I've seen
58:21God. The Bible said, "And the word
58:23became flesh and dwelt among us." I've
58:28seen God in practically all areas of
58:31life. I've seen God move in some strange
58:35ways because we are in the strange days
58:37of the church. These last days are
58:40strange days. Things never heard of are
58:44beginning to happen. And I believe we
58:46are all here today uh between now and
58:49the next convention some things will be
58:51taking place in your life
58:54that if you were told yourself you will
58:56not believe it.
58:58We are in the strangest days of the
59:01church. Some fellow went in for a job
59:04and as he sat down at the interview
59:06panel he said hey we have hired you are
59:09already employed join us on the panel.
59:12He he went in for an interview for a
59:14job. They hired him right there and
59:16asked him to join them on the panel. He
59:19became a boss right there. We are in the
59:23strange days of the church. And all we
59:26need is to be able to pick on this
59:28frequency. Walking with God. Walking
59:32with God. Walking with God. We are We
59:35are serving a faithful God. Our God is
59:38no fake.
59:39We're serving a faithful God. His
59:42presence will always make the
59:44difference. His voice will always put
59:46you on top of life situations. God is
59:49real and God is here. God is real and
59:53God is here. God is real and God is
59:56here. God is real and God is here. God
1:00:00is real and God is here. God is real and
1:00:04God is here. Whatever he
1:00:08says, that is what he will do. God is
1:00:12not a joker. He means what he says and
1:00:14he says what he means. Whatever he says
1:00:17to you, that is exactly what he does.
1:00:20Tonight I pray that whatever thing might
1:00:23be stopping your access to the voice of
1:00:26God be broken down forever.
1:00:30As you pick his word, may his voice
1:00:33continue to thunder from the page of
1:00:35scriptures to you. And as you see that,
1:00:37you find things working. Every day of my
1:00:40life, God has directed my steps. And
1:00:43I've seen the difference. It's
1:00:46effortless. It's struggle free. You can
1:00:48be free from all struggles. It's
1:00:51effortless. It's struggle free. We built
1:00:53our second university all out of the
1:00:56blessings of God. Out of reserves.
1:00:59Blessings of God. You have said you
1:01:00don't have no enough room to take them
1:01:03out of reserves. No noise, no nothing.
1:01:05You just find the buildings rising. A
1:01:07whole campus of 1,400 acres of property,
1:01:10all road networks, water, power,
1:01:13everything in place, staff housing,
1:01:15everybody together. It It's humbling.
1:01:18And that's when God speaks, you can be
1:01:21sure what happens next. When God speaks,
1:01:24you can be sure of what happens next. My
1:01:26prayer tonight is this. If it's working
1:01:28in Nigeria, if it's working in Africa,
1:01:32it will work anywhere
1:01:35else. It will work anywhere
1:01:38else. It will work anywhere. If it's
1:01:41working out there, it will work anywhere
1:01:45else. If I were you, therefore, Lord,
1:01:48show me what you have shown that man.
1:01:51If you want to get the kind of result
1:01:52he's getting, just God, show me what you
1:01:54have shown that man. And then he shows
1:01:57it to you. He speaks to you and then you
1:01:59are up on the same frequency. I knew
1:02:02that wherever Brother Copelan was going,
1:02:04I was going there. I knew that. 1982 I
1:02:08encountered him and I knew that. I knew
1:02:09I was going to wherever I was
1:02:11going. Today in Lagos we have our own
1:02:14hanger at the
1:02:18airport. Built depth free, struggle
1:02:22free, strategically located.
1:02:25strategically
1:02:26located all by the blessings of God.
1:02:29Today we have close to about 30
1:02:31secondary schools across the
1:02:34nation. Most of them are boarding
1:02:36schools and about 90 primary schools
1:02:40spread across the nation. All by the
1:02:43blessings of God. I can tell you this
1:02:46just one word from God will bring the
1:02:48star in you out. Now the Bible say the
1:02:51Lord sent a word into Jacob and it
1:02:54lighted upon Israel. We are not asking
1:02:58you to give so the church can be
1:02:59blessed. We're asking you to give so you
1:03:01can be blessed. Yes, the church is a
1:03:05blessed body.
1:03:07He said the g of this little house shall
1:03:08be greater than the former. The silver
1:03:09is mine and the gold is mine. Say the
1:03:12Lord. You are not given as a sponsor.
1:03:16You are given as a privileged covenant
1:03:18child. You are too small to sponsor the
1:03:22kingdom. You are too small to sponsor
1:03:24the
1:03:26kingdom because God's project is
1:03:28according to God's size. You can't
1:03:31measure up.
1:03:33Yes, you are too small to be a kingdom
1:03:36sponsor. No, don't ever mistake yourself
1:03:39as a sponsor.
1:03:41Our mission has no sponsor. M
1:03:46the silver is mine and the gold is mine.
1:03:50See the Lord. But we get blessed along
1:03:54as he carries out his project on the
1:03:56earth by committing ourself to
1:03:59it. I knew giving was the way up and I
1:04:03committed myself to it by covenant. And
1:04:06bless God, I'm not down, I'm up. Yes.
1:04:12Some fellow said, "Okay, I was worth
1:04:14$150 million." I said, "That's an
1:04:15insult." $150 million, that's an insult.

1:04:21worth Philippians 4 19. My God shall
1:04:25supply all my need according to his
1:04:28riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 150
1:04:31million too small. That can't be. That
1:04:34can't be. He said, "You shall lay up
1:04:36gold as dust.
1:04:39Is that 150 million?
1:04:43And check it out. Please check it out as
1:04:45I close. Check it out. Now, giving does
1:04:48not automatically result into
1:04:52prosperity. You have to be spiritual for
1:04:55your giving to command returns. You have
1:04:58to be spiritual. Now, here what he says.
1:05:00He said, "Receive, I pray thee the law
1:05:02from his mouth and lay up his words in
1:05:05your heart. If you return to the
1:05:07Almighty, you'll be built up. Then you
1:05:09shall put iniquity far from your
1:05:12tabernacle, then shall you lay up gold
1:05:15as dust. Job
1:05:1822:21-26. Then shall you lay up gold as
1:05:21dust. So God is not interested in your
1:05:26donations. It is poor people that need
1:05:28donations.
1:05:31The earth is the Lord and the fullness
1:05:33thereof. God does not need no donation
1:05:36from you. Your giving is a spiritual
1:05:40transaction,
1:05:42not a donation. And when it's
1:05:44acceptable, the returns become obvious.
1:05:49It's so important. We need to be
1:05:51spiritual. Church is not a
1:05:54bank where anything you bring is is
1:05:57acceptable. You must give it correctly
1:05:59before it's acceptable. Yes sir. There
1:06:02are many givers who are frustrated. Why?
1:06:05They are giving off spiritual frequency.
1:06:08They are giving off spiritual frequency.
1:06:11Yes.
1:06:12He said you shall take iniquity far from
1:06:15you. You can't be cheating on your
1:06:16company and say you are giving.
1:06:21You can't be in drug business destroying
1:06:24destinies and say you are giving. These
1:06:26are all things people need to know it.
1:06:28Yes sir.
1:06:32He said it will purify us then will our
1:06:35sacrifices be acceptable unto God.
1:06:37Malachi 3 verse 1-5. So we need to have
1:06:41a spiritual root to assess our
1:06:45inheritance. Hear what Paul said. He
1:06:47said I commend you to God and to the
1:06:48word of his grace which is able to build
1:06:50you up and give your inheritance among
1:06:52them which are
1:06:53sanctified. So you don't have
1:06:55inheritance without a commitment to
1:06:57sanctification.
1:06:59Come on now. You don't have no
1:07:00inheritance. Acts chapter 20 and verse
1:07:0332. You have no inheritance except you
1:07:06are committed to sanctification as a
1:07:08lifestyle. Striving to please God in the
1:07:12spirit.
1:07:14Walking in love,
1:07:18not robbing people. Let up
1:07:21running.
1:07:23Yes, sir. We need to wake up to this.
1:07:26Can I tell you this? God is going to
1:07:28prosper the end time church in a most
1:07:30dangerous way.
1:07:32I know that. I know God will prosper. We
1:07:36are we are in the golden age of the
1:07:41church. Hear what he said. He
1:07:45said, "Who among you saw the glor of
1:07:47this house in his first?" How do you see
1:07:49it now? Is it not as compared to
1:07:50nothing? But I tell you the great little
1:07:52house shall be greater than the former.
1:07:55The silver is mine and the gold is mine

1:08:002:3-9. And then in Malachi chapter 3 he
1:08:03said in that day when I make up my joy
1:08:06they shall be mine. So there is a day of
1:08:09kingdom economy. There is a day of
1:08:13divine economy. Malachi 3:1 17. Now you
1:08:16see we are in that day when God's
1:08:20treasures will be unleashed on the earth
1:08:23to those who are truly serving God. Then
1:08:26shall you return and discern between the
1:08:27righteous and the wicked between them
1:08:29that serve God and them that serve him
1:08:31not. Malachi 3:1 17 and 18. So it's time
1:08:35for us to clean up.
1:08:38I say it's time to clean up. I said it's

1:08:46sacrifices can be acceptable to God.
