2. 0:02for Bible engagement where they pulled
3. 0:0440,000 the general population in the
4. 0:08u.s. from 8 to 80 and they just wanted
5. 0:12to see how we are engaging with
6. 0:13Scripture right and they discovered
7. 0:16something that actually became kind of
8. 0:18the profound discovery of the entire
9. 0:20study
10. 0:21they weren't even looking for this and
11. 0:22this is kind of became the highlight of
12. 0:24the study right when we're in the
13. 0:27scripture one time a week and that could
14. 0:29be church on Sunday that's pastor saying
15. 0:31you open your Bible we hear the message
16. 0:33one time a week had negligible effect on
17. 0:36some key areas of your life so I'm gonna
18. 0:38spell that out more here in a moment two
19. 0:41times a week negligible effect now at
20. 0:44three times a week
21. 0:45there was a blip on the map like there
22. 0:47was a heartbeat something happened again
23. 0:51a heartbeat but here was a profound
24. 0:53discovery when we're in the scripture
25. 0:55four times a week it literally spikes
26. 0:58off the chart you would expect that it
27. 1:00be one tooth I mean there'd be a gradual
28. 1:02incline on the affect and impact that
29. 1:04would have in your life
30. 1:05but it was literally one two three four
31. 1:08something radically happens okay you got
32. 1:11my curiosity to this extent kind of
33. 1:12behavior is being affected feeling
34. 1:14lonely drops 30% Wow ain't four times a
35. 1:17week and four times a week in the
36. 1:18bouquet anger issues dropped 32%
37. 1:21bitterness and relationships marriage a
38. 1:24relationship with your kids and so on
39. 1:27drops 40% alcoholism drops 57% feeling
40. 1:33spiritually stagnant you know if there
41. 1:35was one area when I'm talking with
42. 1:37people that that they'll be honest about
43. 1:40is they just feel spiritually stagnant
44. 1:42ask them the question how much time you
45. 1:44spend in the scripture if they're in the
46. 1:46scripture four times a week or more it
47. 1:48dropped 60% Wow viewing pornography
48. 1:51drops 61% that's very important now on a
49. 1:55flip positive side sharing your faith
50. 1:58jumps 200% Wow because you have a
51. 2:01confidence in God's Word and then
52. 2:03disciple in others jumps 230 percent
53. 2:05that's that's amazing right there
