7. 0:19do you know what time it is it's time

10. 0:28so every morning for the next five
11. 0:31mornings we're going to take a trip far
12. 0:34far far far far far back in time into
13. 0:37the bible
14. 0:38now we are going to look at the old
15. 0:41testament of the bible
16. 0:43but where's the old testament now if
17. 0:46you're watching at home
18. 0:47i want you guys to think about it if
19. 0:50it's old then is it in the
20. 0:52front of the bible or the back of the
21. 0:54bible
22. 0:55raise your hand if you know raise your

40. 1:32of cain and abel the first two brothers
41. 1:35to ever come out in the bible
42. 1:37now everyone this story is really really
43. 1:40a lot of fun
44. 1:41but it's no fun if i just tell you the
45. 1:44story
46. 1:44i want to show you the story do you guys
47. 1:47want to meet cain and abel
48. 1:49yeah okay so i'm going to tell you the
49. 1:52story of cain and abel
50. 1:54and we're going to get a chance to meet
51. 1:56them one by one
52. 1:58you know a long long time ago when god
53. 2:01created the world
54. 2:02he created adam and eve the first man
55. 2:05and the first woman on earth and they
56. 2:08had two sons
57. 2:09cain and abel oh
58. 2:13i think i see cain coming out right now
59. 2:17here he is wow everyone have you ever
60. 2:20met
61. 2:20cain before look at this guy he's so
62. 2:24big and he's so strong
63. 2:27wow and he has a really nice tunic of
64. 2:29skins on right
65. 2:30yeah but everyone where did the name
66. 2:33kane come from do you have a friend
67. 2:35named kane do you have a friend named
68. 2:37kane at school
69. 2:38me neither but let's ask him what the
70. 2:41name kane means
71. 2:42kane how did you get your name
72. 2:46when my mother had me she said
73. 2:49i've gotten a man of the lord
74. 2:52wow everyone cain's name means
75. 2:56i have gotten a man of the lord
76. 3:00and when we look at cain he really looks
77. 3:03like a big

80. 3:08he's really tough and he looks like he'd
81. 3:10be a good first son for adam and eve
82. 3:13cain but what was your job what did you
83. 3:16do
84. 3:18i was a tiller of the ground a tiller of
85. 3:20the ground
86. 3:22ah you mean like a farmer
87. 3:25everyone kane's life was not easy
88. 3:28every day he wouldn't just have to
89. 3:32harvest fruits and vegetables he would
90. 3:35have to
91. 3:36prepare the land protect it water it
92. 3:38there was so much to do
93. 3:40so i want to show you what one typical
94. 3:42day
95. 3:43would look like for cane it would be
96. 3:46four o'clock in the morning
97. 3:48all of a sudden
98. 3:51kane would wake up bright and early at
99. 3:53four o'clock
100. 3:54when mom and dad everyone was still
101. 3:57asleep
102. 3:58he's tired but he has to go out to go
103. 4:01farming
104. 4:02so he would pick up
105. 4:05his shovel he would pick up his rake
106. 4:10he would pick up his spear
107. 4:14don't forget the seeds
108. 4:20don't forget the water bucket
109. 4:24he's running out of hands right but
110. 4:26everyone farming was not easy work
111. 4:29so now kane has to walk all the way to
112. 4:32the field
113. 4:34he would walk for one hour two hours
114. 4:38three hours and finally he would arrive
115. 4:41by now it's already seven o'clock in the
116. 4:43morning
117. 4:45it's starting to get hot he's hot he's
118. 4:48hot but then
119. 4:49when he looks at the land uh
120. 4:53oh the farm's not ready yet there's a
121. 4:56big tree over here
122. 4:58and there's a big rock over here
123. 5:00someone's got to take care of it
124. 5:03who's gonna do it does he have a tractor
125. 5:06does he have helpers no cain was
126. 5:10all by himself so
127. 5:13everyone cain would take his axe
128. 5:17and he would go to the big tree and he
129. 5:19would chop
130. 5:20one two
131. 5:23three four
132. 5:27and then the tree would fall down
133. 5:33but can the tree just stay there no
134. 5:37now kane has to chop the tree into
135. 5:40little pieces
136. 5:42and take it away piece by piece
137. 5:47that's a hard job isn't it kids yes
138. 5:52now cain would take the logs and move
139. 5:55them
140. 5:55but now he's got gotta get rid of the
141. 5:57stones
142. 5:59there's a big stone right over there
143. 6:02kane
144. 6:02what are you waiting for hurry up and
145. 6:04get rid of the stone
146. 6:07kane would pick up the big stone oh my
147. 6:10god it's so heavy his legs would tremble
148. 6:11because it's so heavy
149. 6:13and then he would throw it
150. 6:16and get rid of the stone okay
151. 6:20is the land ready for farming yet
152. 6:24hmm now cain has to
153. 6:28rake the land so he picks up his rake
154. 6:32he starts to rake the land and to till
155. 6:34the ground
156. 6:35one by one wow this is hard work
157. 6:38kane how do you feel right now i'm tired
158. 6:42oh he's tired everyone does anyone want
159. 6:44to help kane
160. 6:45raise your hand if you want to help kane
161. 6:48are you sure
162. 6:49well you can't because this was
163. 6:51thousands of years ago and you guys
164. 6:52weren't born yet
165. 6:53okay oh shucks
166. 6:56so cane would till the land and now it's
167. 7:00time to plant
168. 7:00the seeds so kane would plant the seeds
169. 7:04he'd plant some watermelons he would
170. 7:07plant some
171. 7:08potatoes he would plant some
172. 7:12tomat no we don't like tomatoes okay no
173. 7:14tomatoes he would plant some zucchinis
174. 7:17yeah what else should he plant everyone
175. 7:20lemons should he plant some lemons okay
176. 7:23he's gonna plant some lemons
177. 7:26yeah all right maybe he should plant a
178. 7:29cow can he plant a cow in the ground
179. 7:31no no no you can't plant a cow in the
180. 7:34ground okay
181. 7:35so he planted many fruits and vegetables
182. 7:38but now he has to go get the water
183. 7:40where's the water at everyone
184. 7:43it's way over there so kane would pick
185. 7:47up his bucket
186. 7:48and walk for five hours to get the water
187. 7:53it's a long trip and then he would come
188. 7:56back
189. 7:57and then he would take this water and he
190. 7:59would splash it
191. 8:02splash splash splat uh-oh
192. 8:05it's not enough water kane has to go
193. 8:10all the way back another five hours to
194. 8:14get more water
195. 8:15goodbye kane all right everyone let's
196. 8:18take a little nap and let's wait for
197. 8:20kane to come back
198. 8:24he's still not back oh here he comes
199. 8:28and he will put some more water splash
200. 8:31splash splash
201. 8:34okay this time we have enough water
202. 8:37don't worry kane
203. 8:38wow but everyone is this work easy

205. 8:47kane had a really really tough job right

207. 8:50it wasn't easy to do but

209. 8:57his blood sweat and tears
210. 8:59into making these beautiful fruits and
211. 9:01vegetables
212. 9:02everyone would you want to eat cane's
213. 9:05watermelons and potatoes and cucumbers
214. 9:08yes or no yes yeah they look really
215. 9:12delicious right
216. 9:13i would want to eat them now
217. 9:18kane was an excellent farmer
218. 9:21you know one time he grew a pumpkin that
219. 9:24was so
220. 9:25big so orange
221. 9:28so beautiful that they gave him
222. 9:32man of lord of the year award
223. 9:35first place and he won it for 10 years
224. 9:39in a row that's how awesome kane was
225. 9:42as a farmer okay everyone but
226. 9:46remember i told you this was a story
227. 9:48about how many brothers
228. 9:51it was a story of two brothers so we got
229. 9:54to meet the second brother do you guys
230. 9:55want to meet him
231. 9:56yeah all right so cain's gonna go away
232. 9:59for a little while
233. 10:01now we're gonna meet the second brother
234. 10:03who knows what the second brother's name

260. 11:08to help his brother cain hmm well maybe

263. 11:18dad name you

286. 12:17he can just lead the sheep to the water

288. 12:23is doing all the walking and doing all
289. 12:25the drinking and oh
290. 12:27there's food over there then
291. 12:30abel just needs to lead the sheep to the
292. 12:32food
293. 12:33and while the cute little sheep is
294. 12:35eating
295. 12:37what does abel get to do well he has a
296. 12:40lot of free time on his hands so maybe
297. 12:42he could
298. 12:43take a nap or he could
299. 12:46play video games on his phone or maybe
300. 12:50he could
301. 12:50watch netflix he could do whatever he
302. 12:53wants what do you guys like to do in
303. 12:55your free time
304. 12:56think about it okay and then just
305. 12:59imagine that that is what able was doing
306. 13:01right now
307. 13:04now you guys because abel wasn't the
308. 13:07biggest and he wasn't the strongest
309. 13:09many times he would have a difficult
310. 13:12difficult time in school
311. 13:15once in a while the other kids would
312. 13:18make fun of abel
313. 13:19and beat him up and give him a hard time
314. 13:22but do you think the little sheep is
315. 13:23going to be able to protect him
316. 13:25no no no but he had his big strong
317. 13:28brother
318. 13:28kane to come and protect him and to
319. 13:32defeat all the bullies and to chase them
320. 13:33away
321. 13:34who wants a brother like kane raise your
322. 13:36hand wow what a great older brother

324. 13:39always protecting him and you know

326. 13:42abel was so weak he couldn't lift or
327. 13:46carry all the heavy things by himself

383. 16:13this potato is ugly meh
384. 16:17this potato is too dark meh
385. 16:21this potato is too light
386. 16:24this potato is just right i could make
387. 16:28an extra extra extra extra large
388. 16:30mcdonald's french fries with this potato
389. 16:32and it'd be delicious okay this one
390. 16:34and then he went over to look at the
391. 16:36watermelons
392. 16:38this watermelon's too yellow
393. 16:43this watermelon has too many seeds
394. 16:47this watermelon is nice and round and
395. 16:50green it looks like a basketball i'm
396. 16:54gonna use this watermelon
397. 16:56kids do you guys like watermelons me too
398. 16:59okay and then he went over to the banana
399. 17:02tree
400. 17:04this banana is nice and ripe
401. 17:08and yellow and the peel doesn't have any
402. 17:11bruises on it
403. 17:13wow this looks like the bananas that
404. 17:15comes out in all the movies okay i'm
405. 17:17gonna take these bananas
406. 17:20look at these orange carrots oh my god
407. 17:23it's like a perfect triangle it's orange
408. 17:27oh it's so crunchy god will love this
409. 17:29okay
410. 17:30so cain gathered all of his fruits and
411. 17:32vegetables
412. 17:33and then he went to go prepare and
413. 17:36offering for god
414. 17:38everyone let's see what abel
415. 17:41was going to give as an offering to god
416. 17:45oh here he comes now
417. 17:48abel did you hear about the offering
418. 17:51that your brother cain is going to give
419. 17:53he picked out the best fruits and the
420. 17:56biggest and juiciest vegetables
421. 17:59what about you
422. 18:03i have nothing i don't know what god
423. 18:05wants
424. 18:07i'm not strong like my brother i'm
425. 18:10lacking
426. 18:12i cannot give anything to god
427. 18:18god i have nothing to give
428. 18:22and god please i don't know what your
429. 18:25heart is
430. 18:26but please god show me your heart and

458. 19:39happy with your offering right
459. 19:40yes okay cain take it away
460. 19:50but then everyone something strange
461. 19:53happened
462. 19:55nothing happened at all
463. 19:59there was no voice of god there was no
464. 20:02light or fire from heaven
465. 20:04it was just quiet
466. 20:11not a sound at all cain was so confused
467. 20:16why isn't god accepting my offering this
468. 20:20offering that i've toiled for for
469. 20:22months and months i put all my blood
470. 20:25sweat and tears into this
471. 20:27these precious fruits i was so loyal
472. 20:31i worked so hard i tilled the ground
473. 20:35i i dug down the rocks and the trees
474. 20:38i protected it from the animals god
475. 20:41what's going on
476. 20:43cain was angry
477. 20:47but then right at that moment he saw his
478. 20:49brother
479. 20:51coming with a different offering
480. 20:55what what is abel bringing
481. 20:59what the is that abel's lamb

504. 22:12abel was so happy
505. 22:15he was so thankful god accepted his
506. 22:17offering
507. 22:19but cain he was mad
508. 22:22he couldn't understand
509. 22:26how can god accept this lamb from my
510. 22:28brother
511. 22:29who does nothing he's lazy he's stupid
512. 22:33he's weak he didn't pour his heart into
513. 22:36this
514. 22:37and cain was very very upset
515. 22:41the story of cain and abel it was really
516. 22:44fun right let's give the actors one more
517. 22:46round of applause
518. 22:50alright now i wanna share with
519. 22:54you one verse in the bible we're gonna
520. 22:56read from
521. 22:57hebrews chapter 11 verse four
522. 23:00can you guys find it i'm gonna give you

525. 23:11gonna read it
526. 23:12and i just want you to follow along okay
527. 23:15by faith abel offered unto god
528. 23:20a more excellent sacrifice than
529. 23:23cain by which he obtained
530. 23:26witness that he was
531. 23:29righteous okay everyone we're just going
