3. 0:06shark attacked her causing her to lose
4. 0:07her left arm but not only did she
5. 0:09survive the attack which was back to
6. 0:11competitive surfing just a year later
7. 0:12you saw that more than a decade later
8. 0:14she's a subject of a new documentary
9. 0:16good to see you documenting that's
10. 0:20called unstoppable we were reading this
11. 0:22I don't need easy
12. 0:24I just need possible where does that
13. 0:27come from inside you oh you know I think
14. 0:30when you're faced with such incredible
15. 0:31Charles at such a young age you're just
16. 0:34trying to find that light of hope of
17. 0:37like okay what can I do yeah
18. 0:39and I think for me it was just I mean
19. 0:42part of it was natural and innate but I
20. 0:44also just had such a huge passion for
21. 0:46surfing that that outweighed my fear of
22. 0:49sharks and so I as soon as I got a hint
23. 0:52of hope like maybe I can't surf with one
24. 0:54arm it was like full speed ahead this
25. 0:56was what I'm gonna do what was the hint
26. 0:58of hope Thanks I had talked to the guy
27. 1:00by the name of Mike coots who had lost
28. 1:02his leg to a shark and he learned how to
29. 1:04surf with one leg and he had gone
30. 1:06surfing he's like it's totally possible
31. 1:08you can stand up with one arm like I
32. 1:10know you can and then after that it was
33. 1:13like okay I got in the ocean as soon as
34. 1:15the doctor would allow me actually a day
35. 1:17before he said you talk about something
36. 1:19that you love that you love more than
37. 1:21your fear of sharks I can't think of
38. 1:23anything honestly I can't make myself
