- 0:17all four today I'm going to talk about
- 0:19my favorite things to do the must dos in

- 0:25Island and New Finland and Labrador if
- 0:28you're new here please don't forget to
- 0:29sub subscribe like the video if you're
- 0:30enjoying it and you can of course turn
- 0:32on those notifications but without any
- 0:33further Ado let's crack on with the
- 0:35things to do in Atlantic Canada all
- 0:37right let's start with New Brunswick the
- 0:39first place I visited in Atlantic Canada
- 0:42there are so many things to do in each
- 0:44of these provinces but I'm going to
- 0:45focus on three for each the first is
- 0:48hope well rocks a magnificent place a
- 0:52bucket list place in the whole of Canada
- 0:54in general it's 40 minutes from monton
- 0:56and it's one of those places you just
- 0:57have to see you can visit it at low tide
- 1:00and walk all around the rocks and then
- 1:03you can kayak on it 10 m above where you
- 1:06were walking earlier that day you can
- 1:08even go King at Sunset what an
- 1:10experience that was this is the largest
- 1:12title change ever recorded here with 16
- 1:15M that's 50 ft just let that sink in for
- 1:18a second because all of the tide rushes
- 1:20in from the Bay of Fundy my second must
- 1:23do for New Brunswick is the Fundy Trail
- 1:25Parkway this is a bucket list road trip
- 1:28an 18 mile 30 km drive with 20 Lookouts
- 1:33and four waterfalls the waterfalls that
- 1:35I did were the eye of the needle Trail
- 1:37the McLoud Brook Falls Loop The Long
- 1:40Beach Brook Falls where I went for a
- 1:42nice swim and a shout out to the funy
- 1:44National Park just up the road there's
- 1:46tons of things you can do such as the St
- 1:48Martin sea caves as well all along that
- 1:50lovely stretch of New Brunswick and my
- 1:52final must visit place in New Brunswick
- 1:55I'm going to go with frederickton
- 1:56because this town has something for
- 1:58everybody we we actually went with
- 2:00really terrible weather and we did the
- 2:02Freddy Tap Room Trail which was great
- 2:04fun even in the rain but it just made me
- 2:06want to come back and see it in the
- 2:08spring in the summer experience those
- 2:10beer gardens you can even go stand up
- 2:13paddle boarding on the Wallock River
- 2:15there are just so many things to do and
- 2:16it had just a great Vibe about it so my
- 2:19last recommendation for New Brunswick is
- 2:21frederickton all right so what about
- 2:23Nova Scotia well my first and best
- 2:26recommendation and of course something
- 2:28you have to do in cap Breton is the
- 2:31cabat trail this is a coastal highway
- 2:33with some of the most spectacular drives
- 2:35in North America this is another bucket
- 2:37list Road Trip the cab Trail meanders
- 2:40through the Cape Breton Highlands
- 2:41National Park think amazing hiking think
- 2:44gondolas think stunning beaches and
- 2:46viewpoints and of course nature so much
- 2:49nature make sure you don't miss the
- 2:50skyline Trail and of course Cape Smokey
- 2:54my second must visit for Nova Scotia is
- 2:57Lewisburg The Fortress of Le BG National
- 3:00Historic Site a place that truly brings
- 3:03history to life this place actually
- 3:05really surprised me it's the largest
- 3:07reconstruction project in North America
- 3:10and it feels like stepping back in time
- 3:12and you need to appreciate the fact that
- 3:14this town was founded by the French in
- 3:1717113 make sure to eat at the restaurant
- 3:19de la marine have local beer at L tavn
- 3:22Storehouse watch the cultural
- 3:24demonstration at the interpretive Center
- 3:26and you can even shoot a musket and my
- 3:28third recommendation for Nova could have
- 3:30been so many different places but I've
- 3:31gone for the Mini cabit Trail and The
- 3:33steinhardt Distillery because not too
- 3:35many people will know about it you can
- 3:37take the 337 from Antigonish and pick up
- 3:40the 245 and then stop at the Lighthouse
- 3:42and The steinhardt Distillery this
- 3:44Distillery has been here over 300 years
- 3:47and has been passed down through
- 3:48generations there's a variety of spirits
- 3:51that you can try including the whiskey
- 3:53which I very much enjoyed but it was
- 3:55sitting outside with the community
- 3:57watching live music that really grabbed
- 3:59me and that was the big appeal we both
- 4:02very much loved it here and moving on to
- 4:04the huge Newland and Labrador and my
- 4:06first recommendation is of course one of
- 4:09the most spectacular places in the whole
- 4:10of Canada the gross Moore National Park
- 4:13well what can you say about gross Mo
- 4:15what a place you need to see it to
- 4:17believe it and you probably need weeks
- 4:19here as opposed to a few days make sure
- 4:21you go hiking one of the ones I
- 4:23recommend is the table land or the
- 4:25lookout hike you can also do an ATV tour
- 4:28with the amazing Trina from under the
- 4:31stump and you must absolutely must take
- 4:34a boat trip along the fields at Western
- 4:36Brook Pond just wow my second
- 4:39recommendation is to make sure you take
- 4:41the ferry across to Labrador you can
- 4:43take it from St Bob to Blanc Sablon and
- 4:46head up to Red Bay that's known for its
- 4:49well watching and Iceberg alley and you
- 4:51can do both from Red Bay itself but it's
- 4:54also a UNESCO world heritage site and
- 4:57you can take a boat across to saddle
- 4:59Island and learn about the history of
- 5:01the Basque Whalers don't miss the hike
- 5:03up to Tracy Hill 2 before you explore
- 5:06the rest of Labrador like the point
- 5:08Amore Lighthouse which we saw on the way
- 5:10back there's so much more to see we
- 5:12didn't have loads of time so I'll for
- 5:14sure be coming back and exploring more
- 5:16of the beautiful Labrador my final
- 5:18recommendation is to head down to the
- 5:19town of cornerbrook there's not only a
- 5:21ton of hiking within easy reach from
- 5:24here but you can also head out on a boat
- 5:25trip like we did with the guys from
- 5:27saltbox and whilst you're here make sure
- 5:30to do a screech in and become an honory
- 5:33new finlander which is something that
- 5:35has to be seen to be believed so make
- 5:37sure you check out this part of the
- 5:39video where me and Dave became honorary
- 5:41new finlanders and last but not least
- 5:43moving on to Canada's smallest province
- 5:46Prince Ed known for an of Green Gables
- 5:48and those rolling beautiful green
- 5:50Landscapes my first recommendation is to
- 5:52head to Nature space Eco Resort not only
- 5:55to stay here overnight a great place to
- 5:57base yourself but also to do their
- 5:59kaying tour along the river and look out
- 6:02for some incredible Wildlife we kayaked
- 6:04right as the sun went down and it was
- 6:06beautiful but they also have one of a
- 6:08kind sustainable places to stay yes you
- 6:11can stay in a Mongolian yurt and they
- 6:13can also organize things like yogurt and
- 6:15wellness this is a true retreat in
- 6:17Prince Island my second recommendation
- 6:20is still watching from Charlotte Town
- 6:22I'm going to also talk a little bit
- 6:24about Charlotte Town but you can head
- 6:25out on a boat trip right out of the
- 6:27harbor and see hundreds of seals which
- 6:30really has to be seen to be believed and
- 6:33whilst you're there in Charlotte Town
- 6:34make sure you head to Founders Food Hall
- 6:36Victoria Row a beautiful pedestrian
- 6:39street with tons of great bars and
- 6:40restaurants then you've got Peaks wolf
- 6:42and you can also stay at the Holan Grand
- 6:45A Perfect Blend of luxury and location
- 6:48and what about these views and my final
- 6:50recommendation why not spend the
- 6:52afternoon visiting a brewery a cidery
- 6:55and a winery and grab some fish and
- 6:57chips yes we did this all in in just a
- 7:00few hours we started off at copper
- 7:02bottom brewing for the beer in mono then
- 7:05headed to double Hill cidery
- 7:07award-winning cider known for their
- 7:09Nomad cider and finished up at the
- 7:11rosenal Estate Winery and make sure you
- 7:15go to home plate some of the best
- 7:17fishing ships that you're going to find
- 7:18anywhere in Atlantic Canada yes I said
- 7:21that don't ask why I just go and make
- 7:23sure you have a chat to Caroline what a
- 7:25legend and what a place to eat so there
- 7:27you have it they are my 12 top
- 7:30recommendations and things to do things
- 7:31that you must do in Atlantic Canada and
- 7:34the east of Canada what do you think
- 7:36I've forgotten of course there are
- 7:37plenty more to see I've been to every
- 7:40Province I've been to a couple twice and
- 7:42I'm still finding Little Gems and other
- 7:44things that I want to go back and see so
