2. 0:02today we're going to talk about the Apex
3. 0:04which is the Dex I don't say this a lot
4. 0:07but this exchange actually got me
5. 0:09excited to the point that I decided to
6. 0:12trade most of my own personal capital on
7. 0:14this exchange from now on now in this
8. 0:16video I want to talk about the why
9. 0:18that's the case I will also walk you
10. 0:20through how to create your own account
11. 0:22make a deposit generate your API keys so
12. 0:25that you can trade it using Jesse for
13. 0:27algo trading and also I will show how
14. 0:30the withdrawal process looks like and at
15. 0:32the end of the video we're going to have
16. 0:34a giveaway so make sure to stick until

27. 1:02my go-to centralized exchange for
28. 1:04trading so I'm happy that they are
29. 1:06behind this project now let's take a
30. 1:09look at
31. 1:10the main features now they have lots of
32. 1:14trading pairs it's a DEX which means you
33. 1:16keep the custody of your funds that's
34. 1:19pretty awesome because we all remember
35. 1:20what happened with FTX right so that's
36. 1:23actually the first reason why I decided
37. 1:26to trade most of my Capital here because
38. 1:28you know in the case of something like
39. 1:30FTX happening again I don't want to lose
40. 1:32most of my Capital also they recently
41. 1:35launched this project called Apex Omni
42. 1:38which is their next level uh of trading
43. 1:41services but it's very new uh it's not
44. 1:44mature enough for us to trade there so
45. 1:46in this video we're not going to focus
46. 1:47on that instead we will focus on Apex
47. 1:50Pro which is their mature trading
48. 1:52feature um and as I said it's
49. 1:55non-custodial uh it doesn't record kyc
50. 1:58so that's pretty cool you can get
51. 2:00started right away it only supports
52. 2:02cross margin Perpetual features at the
53. 2:04moment so the isolated margin is not
54. 2:07supported yet and they support deposits
55. 2:10and withdrawal from uh a few layer 2
56. 2:14Chains also ethereum so that's also
57. 2:17pretty cool the maximum Leverage is 30X
58. 2:20at the moment but under new service Apex
59. 2:22Omni I think it's um increase up to 100x
60. 2:26but 30 is way more than what I use
61. 2:29personally I I never use more than two
62. 2:31or 3x so I think this is definitely
63. 2:34enough for me and the settlements are
64. 2:36instant now in other words the order
65. 2:38execution is very fast okay it's near
66. 2:42instant so that's awesome and the
67. 2:44trading fees are the same as what you
68. 2:46would pay on byit itself so that's also
69. 2:49pretty low and yes this is the Dex but
70. 2:53the gas Fe are zero just like how it is
71. 2:56on dydx so that's also awesome now let's
72. 3:00talk about the chains that they support
73. 3:02they support a variety of layer Twos for
74. 3:05deposits so that's pretty cool because
75. 3:07the gas fees on ethereum are are
76. 3:09skyrocketing and I'm not comfortable
77. 3:11with them so I personally use either BMB
78. 3:14or arbitrum or sometimes polygon uh but
79. 3:18let's get started with connecting my
80. 3:19wallet they support so many of them I
81. 3:22use metamask so now it's going to ask me
82. 3:25to switch the network to ethereum but it
83. 3:29doesn't mean that I'm going to deposit
84. 3:30with ethereum so just go ahead and click
85. 3:32on switch Network and there we go we are
86. 3:34connected even if it's the first time
87. 3:37you're doing this is SE you're going to
88. 3:39have to click on the recover Keys now
89. 3:41the word recover in here is a bit
90. 3:43misleading but just go ahead and click
91. 3:46on it click Send
92. 3:49request
93. 3:50sign and we're
94. 3:53in right now it it's telling me that I
95. 3:57can also add my email address to receive
96. 4:00notifications but it's not mandatory so
97. 4:02I'm just going to close it and we can
98. 4:06start making a deposit now so as you can
99. 4:09see they support two types of Perpetual
100. 4:11contracts UCC based and UCT now
101. 4:14depending on whichever you choose here
102. 4:17the supported chains are going to change
103. 4:21so for USC they only support ethereum
104. 4:24B&B polygon so I think that's actually
105. 4:26uh all of them but for us DT pairs which
106. 4:31is a bit newer you can see we only have
107. 4:34options for ethereum B&B and arbitrum So
108. 4:38based on whichever stable coins you are
109. 4:40more comfortable with make sure to
110. 4:43choose a chain that's supported here so
111. 4:46I chose B&B chain so that's the one I'm
112. 4:48going to click switch Network and as you
113. 4:51can see I have options here for other
114. 4:54assets as well so other than us we also
115. 4:57have USC B&B and B
116. 5:00however as far as I know if you choose
117. 5:02any other asset it's going to get
118. 5:04converted automatically and you will
119. 5:07still get usct so if you're not
120. 5:10comfortable with that like me just
121. 5:12choose usct itself and for the amount
122. 5:15I'm going to enter 100 bucks and click
123. 5:18on confirm
124. 5:22deposit I believe on arbitrum the fees
125. 5:25are even lower than this it says in
126. 5:28about 45 seconds the deposit is going to
127. 5:31be done in the meanwhile let's talk
128. 5:33about why I chose this exchange over
129. 5:36dydx because most of the things that I
130. 5:38talked about uh also exist in dydx which
131. 5:42we added like more than a year ago to JC
132. 5:45but I don't really use it now there are
133. 5:48two reasons all right so the deposit is
134. 5:50done so as I was saying I don't like
135. 5:53dydx for two reasons the first one is
136. 5:56that their support is absolutely
137. 5:58horrible so I have a huge number of
138. 6:00emails that I sent them and they only
139. 6:03responded to one of them and it was a
140. 6:05barely reply and whenever I fa an issue
141. 6:09and opened like an uh issue under GitHub
142. 6:12they didn't answer even it's been like a
143. 6:15year I think and my issue is still open
144. 6:17so that's the first reason they have bad
145. 6:19support but on the other hand on apex
146. 6:22their team has been very responsive on
147. 6:25telegram email and also on their Discord
148. 6:28Community I think that's pretty valuable
149. 6:30the second reason is liquidity so for
150. 6:32instance here I have the Bonk token
151. 6:36right which is a meme coin uh I don't
152. 6:38expect it to have like the best
153. 6:40liquidity compared to something like BTC
154. 6:42however if you look at the one minute
155. 6:45chart on apex this is how it looks like
156. 6:48which is pretty normal right but if I go
157. 6:51to dydx and remember that dydx is
158. 6:54actually more mature than Apex they were
159. 6:56here before them and they're using the
160. 6:59same
161. 7:01however even though they're more
162. 7:02immature this is how the chart looks
163. 7:05like I mean look at this it's scary so I
164. 7:09don't want to trade on a chart with such
165. 7:12bad liquidity so that's the second
166. 7:15reason why I chose Apex over
167. 7:18dydx all right so the deposit is done if
168. 7:21I come down here I can see my total
169. 7:23Equity is now 100 bucks and so is my
170. 7:26available margin and my Leverage is set
171. 7:30to 2x now feel free to adjust this
172. 7:32however you like now we are able to
173. 7:36start trading so if I make something

176. 7:47executed but it was almost instant

237. 10:34are only able to make withdrawals to the
238. 10:36address that made it deposit in the
239. 10:37first place in other words you can only
240. 10:39make a withdrawal to your own address so
241. 10:43let's click on I understand and it it's
242. 10:47giving us three values here but on Jesse

244. 10:53that's going to be the first one here

287. 13:10basically any chain other than ethereum
288. 13:13so that's why I'm getting 99 buxs

290. 13:19100 now we have to wait for the
291. 13:22withdrawal to be over but the last time
292. 13:24that I did this it took about just a few
293. 13:27minutes so it's saying it could take
294. 13:29around 4 hours but I don't think it's
295. 13:31going to take that long all right so
