  1. 0:00I need a way for AI to take notes for me
  2. 0:02for in-person meetings, and I don't want
  3. 0:04this to be another app where notes go to
  4. 0:07slowly die. So, today I'm testing
  5. 0:09Fellow, which may be the best solution
  6. 0:11for this. Then, I'll try connecting
  7. 0:13notes to Notion and also chatting with
  8. 0:15them in Claude because that's the part
  9. 0:18that I actually care about, right? Can I
  10. 0:20go from an in-person conversation to
  11. 0:22something that I will actually use? You
  12. 0:23should know Fellow is sponsoring this
  13. 0:25video. So, yes, they want me to show you
  14. 0:27the product, but I'm testing it the way
  15. 0:29that I would actually use this tool for
  16. 0:31in-person recordings and then using the
  17. 0:33summaries inside Notion and Claude. So,
  18. 0:36let's start with the thing that matters.
  19. 0:37Can I take meeting notes perfectly in
  20. 0:39person without being distracting or
  21. 0:41creating an awkward conversation? So,
  22. 0:43I'm in Fellow now, and the first thing I
  23. 0:44want to do is find recording. Here's my
  24. 0:47calendar, but if we go down to this
  25. 0:49button here, this looks like recording,
  26. 0:51and it says record now botless. [music]
  27. 0:54That's what we want. You saw Fellow has
  28. 0:55a few different ways to capture
  29. 0:56meetings. For this video, we only really
  30. 0:58care about the in-person stuff. The bot
  31. 1:00mode can be useful for online calls
  32. 1:03because it records the actual meeting
  33. 1:05footage, but that is not why we're here.
  34. 1:07We're here for situations like someone
  35. 1:09just sat across from me and started
  36. 1:11saying important things. I need to
  37. 1:13record it. Now, I'm going to record a
  38. 1:14fake in-person meeting from the laptop.
  39. 1:16So, we started recording, and I can see
  40. 1:18the waveform. So, Fellow is at least
  41. 1:20hearing something. [music] That is step
  42. 1:21one. For this test conversation, I want
  43. 1:23three things: a clear decision, few
  44. 1:25questions, one specific action item.
  45. 1:27Now, I'm stopping the recording, and we
  46. 1:29wait. Hopefully, this is fast. The app
  47. 1:31says it is processing. Let's hope. Now,
  48. 1:33before I show you the results, I want to
  49. 1:34try the version that matters a lot more,
  50. 1:36which is can I use [music]
  51. 1:38the mobile app to record meetings that
  52. 1:40are in person? I don't always have my
  53. 1:41laptop open or with me. Sometimes, I'm
  54. 1:43at a coffee shop. Sometimes, I'm at an
  55. 1:45event. For those situations, I'm opening
  56. 1:48the Fellow mobile app, and I'm looking
  57. 1:49for recording. Okay, here it is. For
  58. 1:51this, I'm just going to start a
  59. 1:52recording from the phone and put it on
  60. 1:54the table. Very advanced setup, I know.
  61. 1:56For this one, the goal is to decide what
  62. 1:57needs to happen after filming this
  63. 1:59video. So, I want Fellow to catch one
  64. 2:01big decision, one next step, one person
  65. 2:04[music] responsible for that next step.
  66. 2:06This is the part that I care about. If
  67. 2:07the mobile recording can give me a
  68. 2:09usable recap, that is the actual use
  69. 2:11case, right? Okay, so I've ended the
  70. 2:13recording and Fellow is processing
  71. 2:14[music] that information. Now, we're
  72. 2:16waiting again. Something that we're all
  73. 2:18getting used to in this AI age. Okay, so
  74. 2:21now let's look at the recaps for these
  75. 2:22two tests. Fellow has a lot of features,
  76. 2:25but does it nail the most important
  77. 2:26part? So, the summary's at the top and
  78. 2:27here I can see the main points that are
  79. 2:29covered in the meeting. It has our
  80. 2:30suggested action items and decisions.
  81. 2:33We've got the timestamps here that we
  82. 2:34can revisit if we like. So, it looks
  83. 2:36like it nailed everything we were
  84. 2:37looking for. So, now let's check the
  85. 2:39mobile recording. This one I was way
  86. 2:40more skeptical about. I don't know, I
  87. 2:42just trust it less coming from a phone.
  88. 2:44Okay, so the summary is here. The
  89. 2:45decisions are here. We've got our action
  90. 2:48items. So, this turned out great again.
  91. 2:50Honestly, it does such a great job here.
  92. 2:52For most in-person meetings, this is how
  93. 2:54I would actually use Fellow. Recordings
  94. 2:56from the phone just feel way more
  95. 2:58natural. In a minute, I'm going to show
  96. 2:59you how I use Claude with meetings, but
  97. 3:01I also want to show you that they have
  98. 3:03Ask Fellow built in. So, maybe you're
  99. 3:05not a Claude power user like me. Maybe
  100. 3:07you just want your AI built in. And we
  101. 3:09can ask a question like, "What did we
  102. 3:10decide in the in-person meetings about
  103. 3:12the launch date? And what are the action
  104. 3:14items from it?" And then it will go find
  105. 3:15that information for you, organize it,
  106. 3:17and give it back to you in the chat. Way
  107. 3:18better than having me scrub through an
  108. 3:20hour-long recording trying to find where
  109. 3:22something was mentioned that was super
  110. 3:24important, right? Fellow has lots of
  111. 3:25built-in shortcuts here, so you can
  112. 3:27really use Ask Fellow to do a bunch of
  113. 3:29different super powerful things. Okay,
  114. 3:31so that's the Fellow workflow. Now,
  115. 3:33let's talk about Notion because this is
  116. 3:35where I would want my meeting notes to
  117. 3:37actually live. That's where I do a lot
  118. 3:38of work. So, if we go to user settings
  119. 3:40and we go to apps and integrations, we
  120. 3:42can scroll down and find Notion. If we
  121. 3:44click connect, it opens up the Notion
  122. 3:47integration page. We're able to select
  123. 3:49pages it has access to. We just select
  124. 3:51our page and give it access. Now, I want
  125. 3:53to see what Fellow can actually send
  126. 3:55over. If I can get the recap into a
  127. 3:57Notion doc, that's actually super
  128. 3:58useful. If all I get is a vague link
  129. 4:00back to another app, that's not really
  130. 4:02something that I care about. Cool. So,
  131. 4:04it's integrated and synced here, so we
  132. 4:06can see all of my meeting notes inside
  133. 4:09of Notion. This is really powerful,
  134. 4:11guys. I literally just recorded an
  135. 4:12in-person meeting, and now all the data
  136. 4:15from that lives inside of my Notion.
  137. 4:17Incredible. You can also integrate other
  138. 4:18tools like ClickUp and Asana and Linear
  139. 4:21and Monday. And then if you include
  140. 4:23innate in and Zapier and Make in there,
  141. 4:25you can really integrate Fellow with
  142. 4:28whatever your workflow is. And now let's
  143. 4:29open up Claude. This is the part that
  144. 4:31I'm most excited about always. Fellow
  145. 4:33has an official Claude connector, so
  146. 4:34Claude can access the meeting notes and
  147. 4:36recaps that I already have in Fellow. It
  148. 4:39can search your meetings and get the
  149. 4:40summary and the transcript and find the
  150. 4:42action items. Everything it needs to
  151. 4:44help you work with the information you
  152. 4:45collected in your meeting. So, with this
  153. 4:47I don't have to export a PDF or copy and
  154. 4:49paste anything. I'm skipping the whole
  155. 4:51transfer process where things can get a
  156. 4:52little messed up. Instead, I'm just
  157. 4:54going right into Claude's chat and
  158. 4:56asking it to pull in the notes from that
  159. 4:58meeting I just recorded. Okay, so there
  160. 4:59it found the meetings. Cool. Now, I want
  161. 5:01to chat with the notes. So, I could ask
  162. 5:03it things like, "Hey Claude, can you add
  163. 5:06Sarah to our client CRM in Notion with
  164. 5:09[music] the notes from our meeting?"
  165. 5:11Because Claude is connected to Notion
  166. 5:13and Fellow, it can look at the meeting
  167. 5:14notes and then add those perfectly into
  168. 5:17my CRM. Then I could ask it something
  169. 5:19like, "Hey Claude, can you draft an
  170. 5:20email proposal for this meeting I had
  171. 5:24today with a client?" And then it can
  172. 5:25use the context from that meeting to
  173. 5:28draft the email flawlessly for me.
  174. 5:30Claude already knows my writing style
  175. 5:32and things, so it knows how I like to do
  176. 5:35work. So, it can just take the meeting
  177. 5:36data and mix the two together. So, yeah,
  178. 5:39that's just an insane workflow. So,
  179. 5:40Fellow handles the summarization and
  180. 5:42extracts action items and things. They
  181. 5:44get stored in Notion, so I can always
  182. 5:46find them. And then Claud lets me take
  183. 5:48the contacts from my meetings and
  184. 5:50actually use it to do real-world things.
  185. 5:52[music] Over the course of a year, this
  186. 5:53could save you tens or hundreds of
  187. 5:56hours, depending on the type of work
  188. 5:57that you do. Pretty incredible,
  189. 5:59honestly. Okay, so Fellow is a great
  190. 6:00option for in-person meetings, but now I
  191. 6:02want to quickly cover one of the more
  192. 6:03important parts of any software that you
  193. 6:05might be using, and that is pricing. The
  194. 6:07pricing is pretty straightforward. There
  195. 6:10is a free plan with limited AI credits,
  196. 6:13which is enough to test whether these
  197. 6:15workflows make sense for you. They break
  198. 6:16their pricing down for businesses and
  199. 6:19individuals. So, if if you're a business
  200. 6:21owner or you're on a team, then they
  201. 6:23have plans that work for you. These are
  202. 6:25perfect for collaboration and super
  203. 6:28affordable. If you're just doing a few
  204. 6:29meetings per month, then the team plan
  205. 6:32here for $7 is [music] going to be
  206. 6:35exactly what you need. But, if your
  207. 6:36business is having meetings every day,
  208. 6:38you've got a big team or whatever, the
  209. 6:40$15 plan is probably going to cover you,
  210. 6:42cuz that gets you to the unlimited. For
  211. 6:45individuals, they have the free plan,
  212. 6:46which allows you to try it out, and then
  213. 6:48a $19 per month plan that allows you
  214. 6:51unlimited access to everything. If
  215. 6:52you're a professional using this for
  216. 6:54client calls and and you need a system
  217. 6:56that just works, Fellow is a great
  218. 6:57option here at just $19. Compared to the
  219. 7:00other meeting note-takers that I've
  220. 7:01covered on this channel and everything
  221. 7:03else, this is a pretty competitive
  222. 7:04pricing. This Fellow plan has everything
  223. 7:06you might need, and if you do a lot of
  224. 7:08calls for work, this is going to be a
  225. 7:11perfect choice. So, yeah, Fellow is a
  226. 7:13great option here. It does great
  227. 7:15recordings, great summaries. Fellow is
  228. 7:17going to help you build a system where
  229. 7:19everything lives together and is
  230. 7:20integrated with whatever tool that you
  231. 7:22use. Okay, so, is Fellow the best AI
  232. 7:24note-taker for in-person meetings? I
  233. 7:26think it absolutely crushes it, guys.
  234. 7:28The system that they've built works
  235. 7:29incredibly well, and it can work for all
  236. 7:32kinds of different workflows. Try Fellow
  237. 7:34if you haven't already. There's a link
  238. 7:35in the description below. I hope you
  239. 7:36guys enjoyed the video. Thank you so
  240. 7:37much for watching all the way to the
  241. 7:39end. Here's some other videos that I
  242. 7:40recommend, and I will see you guys in
  243. 7:42the next one.
