"Being Fat Is A Choice!" Greg Doucette Slams Fitness Influencers, Body Positivity, & Scams — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Bodybuilding is the worst sport you
- 0:01could possibly do.
- 0:04>> What do you think about fat shaming?
- 0:06>> I think fat shaming can absolutely work.
- 0:08Is it really bad that I don't want to be
- 0:10fat? That I don't want to be unhealthy.
- 0:12>> So, if someone's trying to ascend, give
- 0:14us the first five things they do today.
- 0:17>> Number one is Mr. Mike is delusional.
- 0:20He's convinced himself in order to cope
- 0:22that he's on low doses.
- 0:24>> What if Mike Israel came to you and
- 0:25said, "Look, I don't like it when you
- 0:26make these videos on me." Mike Isertell
- 0:28has literally said, "You can do anything
- 0:30you [music] want. Talk about me whenever
- 0:31you want."
- 0:31>> Just cuz I'm popular and if I fall off
- 0:34tomorrow, Greg will never make another
- 0:36video about me again. [music] What
- 0:38muscles do you think women look for most
- 0:40in men? All these guys doing hand
- 0:42workouts to try to impress. I'm like,
- 0:44"Look, spend less time on that and get a
- 0:46job and have some money. Girls care
- 0:47about your wallet."
- 0:48>> How does a 16-year-old look like this?
- 0:50>> A lot of steroids and a lot of working
- 0:52out.
- 0:53>> Like 16-year-olds are doing steroids now
- 0:55and bragging about it. It's at at this
- 0:56point it's it's insane. Who's the worst
- 0:58fitness influencer right now?
- 1:02[music]
- 1:05>> Greg, thank you so much for coming on
- 1:06the ice coffee hour. So, we have a
- 1:08series of fitness claims and then you're
- 1:10going to either agree or disagree and
- 1:12they're sprinkled throughout the
- 1:14structure of this video. You ready?
- 1:16>> You sure? Let's do it.
- 1:17>> In 2026, there is no excuse to be obese.
- 1:20>> Definitely. I've said that a number of
- 1:21times. With the GLPs nowadays, you can
- 1:24use them. Everyone can use them if you
- 1:26can afford it that is and you will
- 1:27absolutely lose weight. So if you can't
- 1:30lose weight and you use a GLP and by
- 1:32GLPS I mean ompic tzipide reat you can
- 1:35and will lose weight. It is literally
- 1:37easy. Now
- 1:38>> how much of that is personal choice
- 1:40versus genetic.
- 1:41>> It's probably 50% genetic and 50%
- 1:44personal choice because some people are
- 1:46born with more fat cells and more ghrein
- 1:48which is a hunger hormone. And so if
- 1:50you're born with more fat cells more
- 1:52ghrein it's way harder to stay skinny.
- 1:54There's always that food noise, but you
- 1:56can choose to eat healthier foods, more
- 1:58fruits and vegetables, leaner, you know,
- 2:00cuts of meat, whatever to allow yourself
- 2:03to eat less calories and do more
- 2:04exercise. And so, you can overcome it.
- 2:06It's just way harder for people with bad
- 2:08genetics. But with the the GLPS,
- 2:10literally easy. Everyone's in a playing
- 2:13uh level playing field. No excuses now.
- 2:15So, what percentage body fat should
- 2:17every single person watching this be
- 2:20under for male and female? There's no
- 2:22number to be under. It's more so to do
- 2:24with your own health and and your range.
- 2:26Everyone has a certain range of body fat
- 2:28that's comfortable for them. But in
- 2:30general, a man should be at about 15%
- 2:32body fat for ideal health reasons. A
- 2:34woman around 25%. As you get higher than
- 2:37that, there's going to be more and more
- 2:39negative consequences. But I wouldn't
- 2:41say somebody that's, for example, more
- 2:42obese, let's say you're a guy with 50%
- 2:44body fat, I'm not going to tell him you
- 2:45get down to 15, but maybe for him 25 is
- 2:48is healthy. somebody else that's at 30,
- 2:50maybe they can only get to 20, but the
- 2:53closer to 15 the better, assuming it
- 2:54doesn't cause any problems.
- 2:56>> You recently posted a video just titled
- 2:57Clueless Fat People.
- 2:59>> What do you think fat people are
- 3:01clueless about?
- 3:02>> How to lose weight and what it takes to
- 3:03get there? Because if they knew, they
- 3:05would literally do it.
- 3:07>> Do you think that it's actually a
- 3:09problem of education?
- 3:10>> I think it's half education and just
- 3:12half people not giving it. Like just
- 3:14literally just I don't care. I'm just
- 3:16not going to think about it. Like people
- 3:17don't think about the things that
- 3:18they're doing. For example, with
- 3:20alcohol, they don't want to think that
- 3:21it's a poison. They don't want to think
- 3:22it's a class one carcinogen by the World
- 3:24Health Organization. So rather than
- 3:26think about it, they just put it off and
- 3:28don't actually do any thought on it
- 3:30whatsoever. Is it a thought though or is
- 3:32it more about willpower? I think it's a
- 3:35lack of thought. Like when I was
- 3:37drinking, I didn't think, oh, it might
- 3:38give me cancer. I'm just like, it's just
- 3:40drinking. It's fun. Or if somebody's
- 3:42gambling, they're just thinking, "Oh,
- 3:43it's fun. It's dopamine. It's a good
- 3:45time. I might make some money." They're
- 3:46not thinking, "What if I get addicted
- 3:47and lose my house?"
- 3:49Same thing with food.
- 3:50>> So, what changes psychologically in
- 3:53someone's brain if they go from
- 3:54something like 25 or 35% body fat down
- 3:58to 15 to 17% body fat? Because it's hard
- 4:01to get someone to care about something
- 4:03if they don't care. Is this something
- 4:05that they could start to care about so
- 4:07they don't have to force themselves to
- 4:08care about something if they decrease
- 4:10their body fat? Well, they could
- 4:12absolutely start caring about it. And
- 4:13the biggest thing is when people are at
- 4:15whatever they are right now. So let's
- 4:16say there's a viewer at home and they're
- 4:17at 40% right now. They think life isn't
- 4:20bad. I'm sitting here watching Coach
- 4:22Greg ice coffee hour. This is a good
- 4:24time. I walk to the store. I walk from
- 4:27my car to wherever and I feel good. They
- 4:29don't realize how unshape how unhealthy
- 4:32they actually are until they actually
- 4:34get in shape. So there was one woman I
- 4:36was doing that uh response to where she
- 4:38said, "I I feel fit." She was 400 lb.
- 4:41And I'm like, if I felt like you, I
- 4:43would be in the worst state of my life.
- 4:45I would be absolutely hating my life.
- 4:46And if you felt like me, she would think
- 4:49life is this good. And so until you get
- 4:51to that point, you don't understand what
- 4:53you're missing. So the people who are
- 4:54overweight, they think everything is
- 4:56great until they lose the weight and
- 4:58then they then realize, wow, my former
- 5:01life was terrible. Is it true that
- 5:04sometimes people who are obese feel the
- 5:07craving of hunger stronger than other
- 5:10people? They absolutely do. Almost all
- 5:12of them. That's why they're obese. My
- 5:14opinion is that people who are obese,
- 5:15it's mostly like a genetic thing or at
- 5:17least it's 50% genetics. Now, there's a
- 5:19lot of people who are not obese who are
- 5:21not obese because they fight through it.
- 5:22They have the willpower or they're doing
- 5:24cardio. Like, if I wasn't doing 10 hours
- 5:26on my bike every single week or more and
- 5:28lifting weights and eating healthy, I
- 5:30wouldn't be this lean. I would maybe be
- 5:32at 20%. But, I wouldn't be at 40%. And
- 5:34so, my genetics don't allow me to get
- 5:36that fat. So, I'm lucky. I'm fortunate
- 5:38that way. So, I mean, I wish they had
- 5:40the same genetics as me, but a lot of
- 5:42people have great genetics and they
- 5:43still don't care. They eat horribly and
- 5:44they end up overweight.
- 5:46>> How real is the ectomorph, endomorph,
- 5:48and msomorph thing? Like, can someone
- 5:50actually distill their physique or like
- 5:53natural body type down to one of those
- 5:55groups? It's on a spectrum for all of
- 5:58them. So, it's kind of like height. I'm
- 6:01a manlet. I'm 5'6, so I'm short.
- 6:03Somebody can say, "You're short. Am I
- 6:05really short?" It's on a spectrum. I'm
- 6:07not 3t tall. I'm not 6'6 either. So,
- 6:09it's it's the same like that. If you
- 6:11have an endomorphic body, which means
- 6:13you're going to be really really fat and
- 6:15you weigh 600 lb. It's absolutely true.
- 6:18If I tried to be a 400 lb man for a
- 6:22billion dollars to save every soul on
- 6:24this world, I couldn't do it. I could
- 6:25try. I could just to save every person
- 6:27on this planet, everyone would be
- 6:28cheering for me. I couldn't get to 400
- 6:30lb. My body wouldn't allow it. I would
- 6:31eat that much food. I would throw up. I
- 6:32wouldn't stay down. I physically
- 6:34couldn't do it. Those people, some of
- 6:36them, they have to struggle to get under
- 6:38400 pounds. When do you think compassion
- 6:41turns into enabling? A lot of people
- 6:43online will be nice to people who are
- 6:46overweight. It's okay. Don't worry,
- 6:48you're trying. Oh, you took 10,000
- 6:50steps. It's like you're just giving them
- 6:51a participation trophy. And I don't
- 6:53think that that works. And they're on
- 6:54the other hand, they're going to say,
- 6:55"Yeah, but you yelling at them and
- 6:57calling them fat isn't going to work
- 6:58either." Well, there's maybe there's
- 6:59somewhere's in the middle. That would be
- 7:01the ideal point. But every person that's
- 7:03watching videos, if you're watching me
- 7:05saying you're fat and you need to start
- 7:07exercise and eat healthier, if you don't
- 7:09like that, go on to somebody else's
- 7:10video. Whatever video you're watching,
- 7:12if it's mine and it makes you lose
- 7:14weight, awesome. If it's not, don't
- 7:15watch me. Watch somebody else. But as
- 7:18long as it works, that's the bottom
- 7:19line. Is fat shaming effective? I think
- 7:22fat shaming can absolutely work. I think
- 7:24it's a great thing for many people. For
- 7:26some people, it's not. But I think
- 7:28without fat shaming and with body
- 7:29positivity accepting everybody, then we
- 7:31just accept mediocracy. I just think
- 7:33that people will say, "Oh, you're 300
- 7:34lb. Oh, it's good. It's okay. We we love
- 7:36you no matter what." I'd rather hear
- 7:38them say, "Do you realize you're taking
- 7:4020 years off of your life? What is wrong
- 7:41with you? Lose some weight. Look how fat
- 7:43you are. You think a girl's going to
- 7:44want to go out with you? Look what
- 7:45happened to you. Stop doing what you're
- 7:47doing." Men treat each other that way.
- 7:49Men will say to a guy friend, "Hey,
- 7:51you're fat." Women will say to a girl
- 7:53that's 300 lb, no, you're a 10 queen.
- 7:56But imagine telling that girl saying you
- 7:57look like her. What are you talking
- 7:59about? So I feel like men treat other
- 8:02men more in a reality and women treat
- 8:04other women more like, oh no, it's okay.
- 8:07But behind the scenes, they're all
- 8:08fighting. So So then when can fat
- 8:10shaming become cruel?
- 8:11>> I think when the person tells you, look,
- 8:14what you're saying bothers me. I don't
- 8:16want you to do it anymore. And if you
- 8:17continue, that's when you're crossing
- 8:18the line. But without that, then why not
- 8:20keep going? Like if you have to stand up
- 8:21for yourself. If you don't like how
- 8:22somebody's treating you, how they're
- 8:23talking to you, how they're teasing you,
- 8:25whatever what name they're calling you,
- 8:26like if they're saying fatso, say,
- 8:28"Look, I don't like it when you call me
- 8:30fatso. Can you please stop doing that?
- 8:32It it offends me. If somebody said that
- 8:33to me, I'm not going to do it to them
- 8:34anymore." And so without that, where do
- 8:36you stop? I mean, are you not trying to
- 8:38treat other people like you're a dad or
- 8:39an uncle trying to stop people?
- 8:41>> What if Mike Israel came to and said,
- 8:43"Look, I don't like it when you make
- 8:44these videos on me. You have these
- 8:45titles and they put me in a bad light."
- 8:47>> Mike Israel has literally said, "You can
- 8:49do anything you want. Talk about me
- 8:50whenever you want. He calls you and he
- 8:52changes his mind and he says, "Hey man,
- 8:54this this hurts my feelings what you're
- 8:56saying about me. I'm really
- 8:57self-conscious about my calves."
- 9:00>> He's self-conscious about his tan.
- 9:02>> If he said, uh, let's see, Mike,
- 9:05[laughter] Mr. Mike is selfish.
- 9:06>> The rules for the
- 9:07>> Mr. Mike is selfish about his tan. We've
- 9:09had talks in the past and I eased up on
- 9:11them quite a bit for a long time until
- 9:14the, uh, that that research thesis paper
- 9:17there came out. So, I I have stopped in
- 9:20the past on several different people who
- 9:22have wrote me in private. I've taken
- 9:23multiple videos down. Um, it depends.
- 9:26Every situation is different.
- 9:27>> What do you think the body positivity
- 9:29movement is getting correct?
- 9:31>> I think that it should be uh more
- 9:33accepting for people who are, for
- 9:34example, have handicaps or disabilities
- 9:36or if they're trying and they're making
- 9:39an effort, then you should accept that.
- 9:40But if it's a lack of effort and and
- 9:43whatnot, then I don't think they should
- 9:44go let let them off the hook. I don't
- 9:46really see it as much different than if
- 9:47somebody's an alcoholic or they're a
- 9:49drug addict or they're abusing steroids
- 9:51and you say, "Look, you need to stop
- 9:52doing what you're doing." No one would
- 9:54say that that's bad. Like, if we see
- 9:56somebody who's literally a drug addict
- 9:57and we say, "You need to stop doing the
- 9:58drugs. It's bad. You're going to kill
- 10:00yourself." No one would say that's a bad
- 10:01thing. But if somebody's eating
- 10:03themselves to death and you say you
- 10:04should stop eating to death, then people
- 10:06are okay with it. It's just what's
- 10:07socially acceptable. That's the only
- 10:09difference.
- 10:09>> So, do you think obesity is going to
- 10:11become a lot less common over the next
- 10:1310 years? It's already becoming less
- 10:15common with the the obesity drugs.
- 10:17Absolutely. With the GLPS, way way less
- 10:19people are going to be obese.
- 10:21>> What about the risk of taking these
- 10:24drugs like expanded over the course of
- 10:26the next 10 years? What do you think is
- 10:27the worst case scenario and what do you
- 10:28think is the most realistic case
- 10:29scenario?
- 10:29>> I think there's definitely risk to
- 10:31taking the GLPs like anonia, like lava
- 10:33feelings. I mean, there's some people
- 10:34taking these GLPs that are not wanting
- 10:36to gamble anymore. They're not wanting
- 10:38to drink. They don't have as much
- 10:39excitement in life. They don't want to
- 10:40have sex as much. They don't want to
- 10:41gamble as much. And so your drive to be
- 10:43human or to enjoy things is diminished.
- 10:45So that is a bad thing. Now overall, I
- 10:48think that people who don't need to use
- 10:50GLP shouldn't use them. So if I said I'm
- 10:53going to use a GLP, you'd be like, well,
- 10:54why would you do that? I'm already lean
- 10:56enough. And so if you're overweight or
- 10:58obese, to me, no problem. But if you're
- 11:00already able to maintain a healthy body
- 11:03fat percentage without it, then you
- 11:04shouldn't use it. Isn't the lack of
- 11:05drive though purely due to consuming
- 11:07less food and having less energy? the
- 11:10lack of drive for sex and gambling. I
- 11:12don't think so. But partially, I think
- 11:14that it would be a partial reason for
- 11:16that.
- 11:16>> Yeah. Because if if I'm trying to lose a
- 11:18little weight and I'm eating a lot less,
- 11:20I just find myself I got brain fog. I'm
- 11:22not as motivated versus if I'm just kind
- 11:24of eating whatever, I do feel that like
- 11:27a little more energy.
- 11:28>> That's a great point cuz you're right.
- 11:29Like when I would diet for bodybuilding
- 11:31competitions, my desire to have sex
- 11:32would go way down. Although something
- 11:34like smoking cigarettes, I don't think
- 11:36would be the same. I think if people eat
- 11:37less, they probably want to smoke more
- 11:39to reduce their their drive to eat.
- 11:41>> But definitely that's you got to be on
- 11:43to something there.
- 11:44>> So is there something that's harmful
- 11:46about taking these weight loss drugs?
- 11:48>> Definitely. For example, rea increases
- 11:51your resting heart rate by sometimes
- 11:53five or 10 or I did a video on a guy. He
- 11:55has uh 11 beats per minute higher
- 11:57resting heart rate. He was uh feeling
- 11:59sick. He he had nausea. So there's a lot
- 12:01of side effects, but almost all these
- 12:03side effects are people are doing the
- 12:05drugs at too high of doses. And just
- 12:07from my own personal anecdote on friends
- 12:09and people I've coached, I think
- 12:10threequarters of people start with too
- 12:11high of a dose. I think the doctors are
- 12:13prescribing too much. And I think it's
- 12:14because pharmaceutical companies want
- 12:16the drug to work the first time. They
- 12:18want people to see and feel that
- 12:19difference immediately. Rather than
- 12:21using a really low dose to start and
- 12:22titrate up if and when they need it, the
- 12:25doctors are prescribing really high
- 12:26doses. People are then losing weight
- 12:28really quickly thinking it works. But I
- 12:29think the lowest dose that makes you
- 12:31happy is what people should be doing. So
- 12:33if we use the same drugs but in lower
- 12:35doses, I think we'll have better
- 12:36effects.
- 12:37>> Now the next quote we have here is that
- 12:39the average guy should stop thinking
- 12:42about getting bigger and start thinking
- 12:44about getting leaner.
- 12:46>> Oh yes, absolutely. The average guy is
- 12:49too big. Like most people are fat. Most
- 12:52people are overweight at this point. The
- 12:54average person is pathetically hor like
- 12:56have a horrible looking body. The
- 12:58average female I think is 5'3 171.4 lb
- 13:01give or take 171 lbs at 53. It's
- 13:04>> horrendous.
- 13:04>> Is that is that really the average?
- 13:06>> I'm almost positive that's the average.
- 13:07The average woman is about 5' 3 and just
- 13:10over 170 lb. And so if you look at 53
- 13:13and 170 lbs it's not pretty.
- 13:15>> It's not it's not an ideal. So when
- 13:16somebody says hey
- 13:18>> like I'll tell people hey I I'm measure
- 13:20their body fat and it's at 33%. I said
- 13:21hey that's you know just a cut off of
- 13:23obese but you're you're almost average
- 13:24is like that's not a compliment. Like
- 13:26being average is an insult. And so yes,
- 13:29lean way more people would live longer,
- 13:32have a healthier life, and look better
- 13:34by being leaner. And the drive to be
- 13:36bigger, even if it's just muscle, most
- 13:38people have enough muscle to be honest.
- 13:39Like most people are not dying because
- 13:41they don't have enough muscle unless
- 13:42they're like really old. But having a
- 13:45lot of muscle, it's honestly overrated.
- 13:47I mean, I just coming from a bodybuilder
- 13:48and powerlifter. I lift weights twice a
- 13:50week now. I still have plenty of muscle.
- 13:51Like you don't need as much, but I do a
- 13:53lot of cardio. And I think that leaner
- 13:55is going to give you way more benefit in
- 13:56life than having like 20 pounds more
- 13:58muscle than you right now.
- 13:59>> One of the things that I noticed is that
- 14:01it seems like a lot of people are on the
- 14:03GLP1s like the Ompics and all that. It
- 14:06seems like a lot of that is looked down
- 14:07upon like, oh, you're relying on those.
- 14:10Why? You couldn't just like diet and
- 14:11exercise. Why do you think that is?
- 14:12>> Now look, the pressure to look a certain
- 14:14way can take up a lot of your head
- 14:15space. You can be making real progress
- 14:18while also feeling like you're not doing
- 14:19enough. And when you're thinking so much
- 14:20about your physical health, it's easy to
- 14:22overlook how you're doing mentally. So,
- 14:24if you've thought about therapy but
- 14:25haven't given it a try, it might be
- 14:27worth another look. We partnered with
- 14:29our sponsor, BetterHelp, and they've
- 14:30just made a huge change for eligible
- 14:32members. Insurance options may now be
- 14:34available with co-pays as low as $15.
- 14:37So, I've mentioned this briefly on the
- 14:38show before, but I have had ADHD my
- 14:41entire life. So, I actually signed up
- 14:42for several different sessions on Better
- 14:44Help, and I was genuinely extremely
- 14:46pleasantly surprised with the results
- 14:48from those. Not only did I learn how to
- 14:50better deal with it, but I actually
- 14:51learned how I could leverage it in my
- 14:52career to actually have positive
- 14:54results. Yeah, Better Help makes
- 14:56starting therapy easier. All you got to
- 14:58do is take a quiz and get matched with a
- 14:59licensed therapist quickly. If you have
- 15:01insurance, enter your insurance
- 15:03information to explore the insurance
- 15:04options. And you can communicate by
- 15:06however you feel most comfortable,
- 15:08whether that be by phone, video, or
- 15:10text. And if the first therapist is not
- 15:12the right fit, you can switch at any
- 15:13time at no additional cost. And that's
- 15:15because finding someone that you feel
- 15:17really comfortable with opening up to
- 15:18matters.
- 15:19>> You don't have to wait until everything
- 15:20feels overwhelming to give your mental
- 15:22health some attention. Taking care of
- 15:24yourself can include having someone help
- 15:25you work through whatever's on your
- 15:27mind.
- 15:27>> Over 6 million people have gotten help
- 15:28through BetterHelp, earning it a 4.8 out
- 15:31of five stars on the app store. With
- 15:32insurance, many BetterHelp members pay
- 15:34$15 or less. Some pay $0. And if you
- 15:38don't have insurance or don't live in
- 15:39the United States, not a problem. You
- 15:41can still get 10% off your first month.
- 15:43All you got to do is click the link in
- 15:44the description or go to betterhelp.com/
- 15:47iced coffee hour to explore your
- 15:48options. It seems like a lot of that is
- 15:50looked down upon like, oh, you're
- 15:52relying on those. Why? You couldn't just
- 15:54like diet and exercise. Why do you think
- 15:55that is? Same reason as why people put
- 15:57you down for taking HRT. People are
- 16:00looking for an excuse to put you down
- 16:01cuz they're not doing something. The
- 16:03people are putting you down for taking a
- 16:04GLP are not people on GLPs. The people
- 16:07who put you down or myself down for
- 16:08being on HRT are not on HRT themselves.
- 16:11So you're trying to lower other people
- 16:13to bring yourself up. People will cheer
- 16:15for you when they're down, but if you
- 16:17get ahead of them in any way, then it's
- 16:18like, okay, I don't like you now. So as
- 16:21soon as somebody hears that somebody's
- 16:22on a GLP or HRT or a peptide or any of
- 16:25these things,
- 16:26>> basically they're like, well, that
- 16:28person is now better than me. They look
- 16:29better than me, they're leaner than me,
- 16:30they're stronger than me, and so I want
- 16:31to insult them. And so you didn't do it
- 16:33natural. And so that's to put down. On
- 16:35the topic of getting lean, what is the
- 16:37best way that you would recommend
- 16:38someone do that? And how do they know
- 16:40their body fat percentage? Cuz the
- 16:42actual way of figuring that out is like
- 16:44getting in the water, right? Like the
- 16:45water displacement and stuff like that's
- 16:47very complicated and exhaustive like not
- 16:50the average person has access to that.
- 16:51Like how can the average person assess
- 16:53their body fat percentage as well as get
- 16:54it to a a nice level? Well, body fat and
- 16:57assessment, the problem is most of the
- 16:59things that people have thought were
- 17:00accurate are actually scams. So for
- 17:03example, the InBody scan, it's an inbody
- 17:06scam. It guesses your body fat.
- 17:08[clears throat] Mine was 19 plus%. And
- 17:10on the DEXA scam, I was 8% give or take
- 17:13and I was 19% on the InBody. So, both of
- 17:15those are not really accurate methods.
- 17:17The skinfold caliper test I like it more
- 17:19than that. The hydrostatic weighing test
- 17:21I like more than the others as well, but
- 17:23that's a lot of work. The skinful
- 17:24caliper test is great if I'm the one
- 17:26doing it, but the problem is it's only
- 17:28as accurate as a person measuring it.
- 17:30So, you have to interpret that. Same as
- 17:31an MRI machine. Even an MRI machine,
- 17:33which is like the golden standard for
- 17:35everything, you still have to be able to
- 17:36interpret it that data. It's like if
- 17:37you're a radiologist and you're
- 17:38examining, you don't know how to do it,
- 17:40you might make a mistake. But it doesn't
- 17:42really matter because most people are
- 17:44fat anyway. And so if you can't just ask
- 17:46your friends, am I lean? Like is this
- 17:49good? Like or even yourself. That's all
- 17:51you need. You should be able to look in
- 17:52the mirror and decide for yourself. Like
- 17:54am I fat? Now BMI not really a great
- 17:57method because with more muscle your BMI
- 17:59is going to be higher. Like my BMI is
- 18:00actually obese. Like my BMI is too high.
- 18:03So if you can't look in the mirror and
- 18:04decide if you're fat or not, then that
- 18:05that's a big problem. And then in order
- 18:07to decrease your body fat percentage,
- 18:09what would you say are the best ways of
- 18:11doing that? Because I see a lot of
- 18:12people saying, "Oh, I just started
- 18:13walking 15,000 steps per day. I cut
- 18:16these things out of my diet. I started
- 18:18doing this exercise. What do you think
- 18:20is the is the best way of of doing
- 18:22that?" Well, the S tier, god tier is
- 18:24calories in, calories out. So, being in
- 18:25a deficit and whatever makes you do that
- 18:29is S tier. So, for me, doing a lot of
- 18:32cardio, I love it. If you hate cardio,
- 18:34I'm not going to tell you. all you have
- 18:36to do is ride 10 10 15 hours on a bike a
- 18:38week and you're going to be lean you yes
- 18:40they would be but they might not want to
- 18:41do it maybe for that person GLP is the
- 18:44way maybe for somebody else it's OMAD or
- 18:46it's intermittent fasting or it's eating
- 18:48more fruits and vegetables or it's
- 18:49eating more protein so whatever works
- 18:51for you that is the ideal method so just
- 18:53find out what works now one thing that's
- 18:55not going to work is taking a bunch of
- 18:56steps that there's just been a guy he
- 18:59posted it's kind of went viral he did
- 19:0110,000 steps like how many calories does
- 19:0310,000 steps burn [snorts] and it only
- 19:05burns 285 calories and it took him 93
- 19:08minutes above what you burn off at rest.
- 19:11So he did 10,000 steps, 93 minutes. He's
- 19:13wearing like a mask. It measures your
- 19:14oxygen and carbon dioxide. That's all it
- 19:17is. So about two and he's 190 lb man.
- 19:19He's about my size.
- 19:21190 plus calories for an hour of
- 19:23walking. That's like half a
- 19:25cheeseburger.
- 19:25>> What about walking on an incline?
- 19:27>> It'll double the calories burning on the
- 19:29flat. Way better. So for me, I would
- 19:31advise everyone, you got to do zone two
- 19:33cardio at least 150 minutes a week.
- 19:36That's the minimum. That's not to lose
- 19:37weight. That's like the minimum just for
- 19:38basic health. I would double that. So
- 19:40for me, cardio zone two over time, get
- 19:43better at it. You can burn more
- 19:44calories.
- 19:45>> What's the difference between having
- 19:46good health and having a good physique?
- 19:48>> A good physique. Like I'm we're here at
- 19:50the Mr. Olympia watching this. They all
- 19:52look like they have great physiques and
- 19:53almost all of them have horrible health.
- 19:55Almost every single one. If I took the
- 19:57blood work of every classic physique,
- 19:59bodybuilder, uh, men's physique, bikini
- 20:02girl, if I took their blood work right
- 20:04now and tested them, they would probably
- 20:06be as fit as somebody who's morbidly
- 20:07obese. Almost all of them. So, just
- 20:09because you look super fit doesn't make
- 20:11you fit. And so, some of the most
- 20:13important things is is your V2 max. And
- 20:15how do you improve that? By doing
- 20:17cardio. So, if somebody isn't doing
- 20:19cardio, I'm going to argue that they're
- 20:20not nearly as fit as they could be.
- 20:22>> What do you look for in the blood
- 20:23results like that? Like, what's going to
- 20:24show up out of range? Well, see, one of
- 20:26the problems with bodybuilding is is the
- 20:28abuse of steroids. But even if they
- 20:29aren't abusing steroids, your
- 20:30testosterone levels are going to be
- 20:32tanked. If you're using steroids, your
- 20:34cholesterol is going to be horrible. And
- 20:36um I guess your chances of having a a
- 20:39heart attack or a stroke or any kind of
- 20:41cardiovascular event in the future is
- 20:42going to be bad. You could lose your
- 20:44kidneys. Your your liver could be like
- 20:47down I mean on the downward path to to
- 20:50being a problem. Like
- 20:51>> what's your current stack right now?
- 20:53>> Okay. I do 140 milligrams of HRT a week
- 20:56with 80 milligrams every 4 days. Um, so
- 20:59that's all I'm doing for like
- 21:01testosterone or steroids or growth
- 21:03hormone or insulin. People oftentimes
- 21:05think I'm doing a bunch of other things.
- 21:07That's it for as far as anabolics. I
- 21:09don't do SARMs. I don't do anything. I'm
- 21:11doing 5 to 10 milligrams of Seialis a
- 21:13day. Um, that helps me in the gym. It
- 21:15helps me in the bedroom. It helps me
- 21:16everywhere in life.
- 21:18Honestly, it makes you look way just
- 21:20using Seialis in the gym can give you
- 21:22such a great pump and look so much
- 21:24better.
- 21:24>> Is that healthy? Just like
- 21:26>> at 5 milligrams a day, I would argue is
- 21:28healthier than not taking it. Increases
- 21:30blood flow to your all the organs, not
- 21:32just the downstairs, but your muscles as
- 21:34well.
- 21:34>> But let's just say you're functioning
- 21:36normally as it is, like you're getting
- 21:37blood flow. Like, do you need to take
- 21:39it?
- 21:40>> Nothing is in need. Just like you don't
- 21:42need HRT. Technically, I don't need HRT.
- 21:44I could probably go off HRT and in 6
- 21:46months to a year my testosterone levels
- 21:48would go back to normal, but I function
- 21:50great at 700 to 800 NOGS per deciliter.
- 21:52I'm really happy with that. I'm sure I
- 21:55would survive at 500, but I don't want
- 21:57to. So, for me, I I like that. So,
- 21:59nothing is really a need,
- 22:01>> but it's really just for the pump at the
- 22:02gym or is there like a health
- 22:04>> in the bedroom and in the bed?
- 22:06>> Is there a health benefit to this or
- 22:08>> I would argue that the bedroom benefit
- 22:09is a good benefit. I'd rather do uh
- 22:1110,000 steps in the bedroom than 10,000
- 22:13steps outside. I'm not I don't mean to
- 22:15look at him.
- 22:15>> You're just He's staring at me.
- 22:17>> I wasn't [laughter] I'm just listening.
- 22:18I'm That's it. My ear is closer to his
- 22:20mouth.
- 22:20>> First of all, he recommended you do
- 22:22Seialis.
- 22:23>> You both should be doing Seialis. You
- 22:25got to try this.
- 22:26>> Well, one person especially should be
- 22:28doing Seialis. Let's be honest.
- 22:30Actually, one thing um Well, I guess
- 22:32this is not a really great example, but
- 22:34I think it was Dr. K, if you're familiar
- 22:36who that is.
- 22:37>> Special K. I'm familiar with that.
- 22:39>> Dr. K. He said like the veins in the
- 22:41back of your hand if it's vascular
- 22:43suggests I think it was testosterone or
- 22:46it could be completely
- 22:47>> definitely not testosterone but it could
- 22:49be better blood flow or completely
- 22:50misquing him. the more body fat you
- 22:52have, the more you're going to cover up
- 22:53the veins. Like you're not going to see
- 22:55any of this. But if you're
- 22:56>> But if you take then you're going to be
- 22:57able to see just like
- 22:59>> much more. I mean, there's like Brian
- 23:00Johnson, the man that wants to live
- 23:02forever, not the liver king that that's
- 23:03kind of lost his mind. He takes sealis
- 23:05every day and he's invested
- 23:07multi-millions of dollars to live
- 23:08longer. And there's a correlation
- 23:09between um how how much hardness you
- 23:12have during the night and how in
- 23:14longevity. So it increases more blood
- 23:16flow, better blood flow, you live
- 23:17longer. But I mean, who wants to live if
- 23:19you can't get the blood flow in the
- 23:21right spots?
- 23:21>> So, even if I'm very satisfied with my
- 23:24overall body, I should still probably
- 23:26take Seialis.
- 23:27>> I don't think there's a you should take
- 23:29it. I think that you could take it if
- 23:30you wanted to be more optimal, but if
- 23:32you're already happy to be maximally
- 23:34optimal because I have like now
- 23:37introduced vitamin D3 into my diet.
- 23:39Previously, I wouldn't take anything
- 23:41aside from creatine, but now it's
- 23:43actually easier for me to remember to
- 23:45take my creatine because I would skip
- 23:46because I've introduced vitamin D3. It's
- 23:48now like the more things that I take,
- 23:50the more easy it is to remember to take
- 23:52them. So, I'm at the point now where I'm
- 23:53like, bring it on. Like, give me
- 23:55everything. Like,
- 23:56>> remember I open my little chart of like
- 23:5815 pills I take every morning with the
- 24:00GO2 Max and the Turk Builder and all the
- 24:02different things. And it's like, it's
- 24:03just easy. Every day I take it. If I had
- 24:05to just remember one bottle at a time, I
- 24:07would do it. I think GO2 max of the
- 24:09pills that I take would be one of the
- 24:11best ones. The studies have shown it's
- 24:12like dramatic improvements in
- 24:15cardiovascular endurance. And they're
- 24:16not even sure if it's so much is it
- 24:18improving your cardio or is it making
- 24:20you want to do more cardio which is
- 24:21improving the cardio? So like which came
- 24:23first the chicken or the egg? But if
- 24:24whatever pill you can take that's going
- 24:26to make you do more cardio is going to
- 24:27be better for you increase dramatically
- 24:30their their
- 24:30>> What if you take it but you don't do
- 24:32cardio?
- 24:32>> The people that took it in the study
- 24:34they didn't they didn't tell them go do
- 24:36cardio. They didn't say practice. They
- 24:37didn't put them on a diet. They didn't
- 24:38do anything. And they basically put
- 24:40said, "Walk a mile and we'll see how
- 24:41long it takes." And then after they had
- 24:43the placebo group and the group that
- 24:44didn't take it and the group that took
- 24:46it walked way faster, like dramatically,
- 24:49huge improvements, which was dose
- 24:51dependent, which is even a stronger
- 24:53correlation that it's effective cuz you
- 24:55take a little bit and you were a bit
- 24:56faster, but you took a lot and you were
- 24:58a lot faster. Very, very good indicator
- 25:00that it works. So, I would recommend GO2
- 25:03max highly. So, what else? Um, I really
- 25:06believe in the Turk Builder Max. I think
- 25:07that that's great for improving people's
- 25:09endurance in the gym, strength, drive,
- 25:12determination, wanting to push harder,
- 25:13build more muscle, uh, leaner, drier
- 25:16appearance. Um, also omega-3 fatty
- 25:19acids, I take that. So, just uh, you
- 25:21know, your basic omega3 from Costco for
- 25:24for example, whatever. I think that's
- 25:26important. Um, the vitamin D like you
- 25:28like you're doing as well. Uh, seialis.
- 25:32Other than that, I mean, do you need it?
- 25:34Not really. None of these do you
- 25:36absolutely need, but I think if you're
- 25:38looking for optimal performance and and
- 25:40having things that actually will move
- 25:42the needle, I think these are effective.
- 25:43So, two things. One is what about a
- 25:45daily multivitamin? And then second of
- 25:47all, of these pills that people could be
- 25:50taking like the vitamin D3, how do you
- 25:52make sure that they're taking the right
- 25:53one? Because I've heard from so many
- 25:54people online saying, "Oh, take vitamin
- 25:57D3, but only take it if it has this.
- 26:00take magnesium, but only take it if
- 26:02instead it's glycinate, it's thrienate
- 26:04or it's this or it's that. Like, how do
- 26:06you know what is honest and what is not?
- 26:08>> I think there's information overload and
- 26:10if you start worrying about, okay, it
- 26:11has to be this brand and not that brand,
- 26:13it has to be this or that, that's too
- 26:15much. What I would recommend is you get
- 26:17your blood work done and you get a full
- 26:19panel, you test everything because you
- 26:21might not need vitamin D at all. Like,
- 26:24you need to look in your blood work. I
- 26:25got mine done. I mean, I got it from
- 26:27Algo X, of course, which I own part of
- 26:28the company, but my vitamin D was low.
- 26:31And I'm like, well, really? Cuz I did
- 26:33not believe in taking a multivitamin
- 26:35because I eat so much food and such a
- 26:37variety of food, fruits, vegetables,
- 26:38like everything. I'm like, there's no
- 26:40way I could possibly need a vitamin. And
- 26:42then here it is that I do. And a lot of
- 26:44people need more iron. So, I don't need
- 26:45iron. Iron's great, but a lot of people
- 26:47are low low iron. And then, so with the
- 26:50blood work, you can then say, I need
- 26:52this or I don't need this. So to just
- 26:54say, "Yeah, you should take vitamin E or
- 26:56vitamin D or co-enzyme Q10 or whatever."
- 26:59It's like, "What do you individually
- 27:02need?" And so if you said, "My sex dive
- 27:04is amazing and I take a pre-pump and I
- 27:06go to the gym and I train great and my
- 27:08veins are popping. I feel I scalus is
- 27:10not needed." But if you're like, "I
- 27:12could be harder." Or if your girl says,
- 27:13"Yeah, you could be harder." You you
- 27:15want to take it. So what would you say
- 27:16then is the 8020 for the average person
- 27:19to do where if they just want to get the
- 27:21basics for 80% of the results they do
- 27:23this. I would say the most important
- 27:25supplements to take would be creatine. I
- 27:27think like you said vitamin D. I think
- 27:29that's a really important one. I think
- 27:30uh uh vitamin uh omega-3 fatty acids. I
- 27:34think those are really important. And I
- 27:35would say GO2 max just because as good
- 27:38as Turk is, it's more for like lifting
- 27:40weights in the gym. And so I'm more a
- 27:42fan of cardio. Like I really think
- 27:43cardio trumps weights, trumps muscle
- 27:45anytime. I mean, I' I've made videos
- 27:47where I'm like, "Muscles don't matter as
- 27:49much as you think." And they clip me and
- 27:51say, "Oh, this is stupid." But I'm like,
- 27:52"You're this coming from a bodybuilder
- 27:54that has retired from bodybuilding and
- 27:56powerlifting and now does cardio." So, I
- 27:58think that what makes you do more cardio
- 27:59is more important.
- 28:00>> Yeah. What I did since our last podcast,
- 28:02I did a full blood analysis with
- 28:04function health and it turned out I was
- 28:07deficient in uh vitamin D was one of
- 28:09them
- 28:10>> and there were like a few others. It was
- 28:12like I think it was zinc and like there
- 28:14there maybe three or four but I plugged
- 28:16it into claude and it said based on
- 28:18these readings I'd recommend these just
- 28:21over the counter supplements that I
- 28:22bought off Amazon
- 28:24>> and it was just all easy stuff did not
- 28:26cost that much money and I started
- 28:27taking them and I think within about 3
- 28:29months I felt probably 10 years younger.
- 28:33>> Wow.
- 28:33>> In terms I would wake up I wasn't like
- 28:36groggy. I felt like more energetic. I'd
- 28:39have just clearer thought. who is
- 28:41incredible like an actual difference.
- 28:43>> I think one thing that can make a
- 28:44difference that we haven't spoken of is
- 28:46anything that can help you sleep better.
- 28:47I think sleep is one of the most
- 28:48underrated things in this world. And so
- 28:50if there's something that can help you
- 28:52sleep like you you mentioned uh zinc and
- 28:54it's like zinc magnesium
- 28:57>> like these things if it works I mean
- 29:00whatever it is that makes you sleep
- 29:02better. I don't care if it's eating
- 29:04before bed that does it even I don't
- 29:05even care if it's weed. Like sometimes I
- 29:06I'll take uh edibles with uh THC to help
- 29:09me sleep better and I've got put down on
- 29:11the internet for saying that. When you
- 29:14stare at the night, like last night I
- 29:15was up for 2 hours straight and I had to
- 29:17go in and get like 2 milligrams of
- 29:18Zoplakone to get back to I'm just
- 29:20staring. I I couldn't sleep. I'm like I
- 29:22need to sleep. And so when you don't get
- 29:23a good night's sleep, it ruins the next
- 29:24day. So whatever it is you need to take
- 29:26that helps you sleep is so important.
- 29:29Like if it's melatonin,
- 29:32that is paramount. Better sleep, better
- 29:34cardio, better weights, better feeling,
- 29:36less stress, everything. What do you
- 29:37think about Redat True Tide? Now, we've
- 29:39been talking about how much your daily
- 29:40habits affect how you feel. And
- 29:42nutrition is one of the first things to
- 29:44slip when life gets busy, especially
- 29:45this time of year because the days are
- 29:47getting shorter, the holidays are coming
- 29:48up, and having a routine you could
- 29:50actually stick to. Trust me, makes a
- 29:52huge difference. Which brings us to our
- 29:54partner, AG1. AG1 is a daily health
- 29:57drink. One scoop, cold water, shake it
- 29:59up, and you've got vitamins, minerals,
- 30:01pre and probiotics, and superfoods allin
- 30:03one.
- 30:03>> Their NextGen formula has over 75
- 30:05ingredients and is backed by four
- 30:07separate clinical trials. So, with
- 30:09consistent use, it's been shown to
- 30:10improve key nutrient levels within 3
- 30:13months. And that consistency is the
- 30:14whole point. It's an easy step you can
- 30:16build into your morning to help fill
- 30:17common nutrient gaps. Plus, AG1 NextGen
- 30:20is formulated to support immune defense,
- 30:21which is especially relevant heading
- 30:23into this time of year. like you're
- 30:24already thinking about your schedule,
- 30:26your workouts, everything else you have
- 30:27going on. This just makes getting that
- 30:29daily nutritional support simple. Yeah,
- 30:31honestly, the taste surprised me. It's
- 30:33something that I actually enjoy
- 30:34drinking, so it made it way easier to
- 30:36add it in as like a daily habit. And
- 30:38I'll be the first to admit that my diet
- 30:39is pretty far from perfect. So, it's
- 30:41nice to have a way to help fill some of
- 30:43those nutritional gaps. And for me, it's
- 30:44just easy to stay consistent with. It
- 30:46takes about 30 seconds to mix everything
- 30:48up in the morning, and then I could get
- 30:50on with my day without overthinking it.
- 30:52Go to drinkaga1.com/ic.
- 30:55And for a limited time, you get a free
- 30:57immune support bundle, including a
- 30:58bottle of omega-3 fish oil and a bottle
- 31:00of vitamin D3 K2 with your first
- 31:03subscription order of AG1 NextGen or AG1
- 31:06Pro. Again, that is drinkagg.com/ic.
- 31:10One more time, that is drinkag.com/ic
- 31:13or you can just click the link down
- 31:14below in the description. And while
- 31:15we're on the topic of taking care of
- 31:17yourself, it's also really important to
- 31:19think about the people who depend on
- 31:20you. I think a lot about how much goes
- 31:22into building financial security and
- 31:24making sure the people I care about are
- 31:25taken care of is a big part of that.
- 31:27Yeah, it's something nobody really wants
- 31:28to think about, but getting a plan in
- 31:30place is actually way easier than you
- 31:31would think. With our partner, Ethos,
- 31:33they make getting life insurance
- 31:34incredibly simple, so you can make sure
- 31:36the people who depend on you are taken
- 31:37care of in case something happens. And
- 31:39look, I understand life insurance is one
- 31:41of those things that's really easy to
- 31:42keep putting off indefinitely,
- 31:44especially when you're young and
- 31:45healthy. But that's actually when you
- 31:47could lock in the best rates. With
- 31:48Ethos, you can get a quote in seconds,
- 31:50apply in minutes, and even get same day
- 31:52coverage with no medical exam required.
- 31:54You just answer a few simple health
- 31:56questions, and you could get up to 3
- 31:57million in coverage with some policies
- 31:59starting as low as $30 a month. Plus,
- 32:01even if you have life insurance through
- 32:03your job, that might actually not be
- 32:04enough to cover your whole family. And
- 32:06it almost certainly does not follow you
- 32:08if you leave that job. So, having your
- 32:09own policy means that you're protected
- 32:11no matter what. Ethos has a 4.9 out of
- 32:13five on Trust Pilot with over 4,000
- 32:15reviews. And getting started takes about
- 32:1710 minutes. So take 10 minutes and make
- 32:19sure the people who rely on you are
- 32:20covered. Get your free quote at
- 32:22ethos.com/iced
- 32:24coffee. Once again, that is
- 32:25ethos.com/iced
- 32:28coffee. The link is also down below in
- 32:29the description. Application times may
- 32:31vary and rates may vary. What do you
- 32:32think about rea?
- 32:34I think that it's not legal yet and so I
- 32:36don't think people should do it. I don't
- 32:38think it's uh approved yet. It's a
- 32:40you're you're playing Russian roulette
- 32:41with your health. You're basically a
- 32:43guinea pig. Overall, I think it's going
- 32:45to be approved. I think it's going to be
- 32:47effective, but it of the three GLPs that
- 32:49that are out there like ozepic,
- 32:51trozipide, rea, I think it's the most
- 32:53dangerous one and it's the one that has
- 32:56the most potential to help you lose
- 32:58weight, but has the most risk and that's
- 33:00the one that can increase your resting
- 33:02heart rate. So, my resting heart rate's
- 33:0348. I just did a video on a guy and he
- 33:05was like resting heart rate in the 40s,
- 33:07intelligent guy, but he started on RETA
- 33:09and he he did a very low dose. It was
- 33:10only at 0.5 milligrams and it ruined
- 33:13him. He couldn't eat. He felt sick. his
- 33:15resting heart rate went up 11 beats per
- 33:16minute. I'm like, "Do you really want
- 33:18something that increases your heart rate
- 33:20that much more?" Like, it's literally
- 33:21speeding up your metabolism. You're
- 33:22burning off more calories, but at the
- 33:24expense of your heart rate going up.
- 33:26It's like when you're sick and your
- 33:27heart rate's going up. Like, do you
- 33:28really want that? And so, why not start
- 33:29with this the basics? OPIC GLP-1. It it
- 33:33it's the cheapest and it reduces the
- 33:35food noise and if you're less hungry,
- 33:37you're going to eat less. That's all you
- 33:38need. Do you think though with taking
- 33:39some of those GLPs that like 20 years
- 33:41from now there's going to be some side
- 33:43effect that we're just not aware of
- 33:44today?
- 33:45>> There's already side effects that we're
- 33:46aware of that people don't talk about
- 33:48like eskeemia of the optic nerve from
- 33:50ompic. It's causing some people to go
- 33:52blind. There there's lawsuits. They're
- 33:54suing them. I think it's there. I think
- 33:56it's a chance. But I'm not saying people
- 33:57shouldn't take it because you're
- 33:59probably going to get type two diabetes
- 34:01or something if you're obese. So it's
- 34:02going to help you. But that does
- 34:04increase the prevalence of this. So it
- 34:06is a concern. It's there. But I I don't
- 34:08think we should ignore it. But there are
- 34:09going to be people that suffer from it.
- 34:11I don't think there's anything that
- 34:12works amazingly well that has no
- 34:14potential chance of some people having
- 34:16problems with it.
- 34:17>> What about just telling people not to
- 34:18eat?
- 34:18>> It won't work. We've told people that
- 34:20for years. Put the fork down. I've had
- 34:22so many of us. You know, how do you lose
- 34:24weight? You do some push pushed away
- 34:25from the table.
- 34:26>> 10 sets of that. Put the fork down. That
- 34:29doesn't work. You need you No one has
- 34:31that much willpower. Wouldn't there just
- 34:33be like this gelatinous
- 34:35pudding that you just like drink and it
- 34:38just makes you It just expands. It makes
- 34:40you
- 34:40>> You're literally talking about a GLP.
- 34:41Well, not literally. You're kind of
- 34:43talking about a GLP because it makes you
- 34:44less hungry. It slows gastric emptying.
- 34:46So, when you do eat food, it sits there
- 34:48longer and it takes longer to digest.
- 34:49>> No, but I'm just talking like it like a
- 34:51pudding. So, what you would want is to
- 34:52get my cookbook and get one of my
- 34:54protein ice cream shakes where I put
- 34:56like um some of these uh guar gums or
- 34:59whatever that thickens it up more and
- 35:01then put it over the head and it fills
- 35:02you up. It's like a 300 calorie ice
- 35:03cream and it fills you up. I did that
- 35:05for
- 35:06>> 15 years of my life dieting for
- 35:07bodybuilding competitions. Starved out
- 35:09of my mind. I never used a GLP. So, I
- 35:12was just so hungry. I learned to do
- 35:14volume eating. I learned what fruit and
- 35:15vegetables had the lowest calories. It
- 35:17filled me up and that's what allowed me
- 35:18to stay like full and lean. So, what
- 35:21curbs hunger the best?
- 35:22>> What curbs hunger the best? Anything
- 35:24that fills your stomach up.
- 35:25>> Like, what would an example be?
- 35:27>> The protein ice cream is probably the
- 35:28thing that curbed my stomach the best
- 35:30and all my years of doing anything. That
- 35:32combined with massive jumbo salads with
- 35:34like spinach or lettuce. Like, I'm
- 35:35talking about massive bowls. Those two
- 35:38pair together in the evenings. Like the
- 35:39evening is when everyone cheats on their
- 35:40diet. No one's cheating on their diet
- 35:42for breakfast and lunch. I did good all
- 35:44day and then the evening came, I started
- 35:45snacking. That was my problem. This was
- 35:47everyone's problem. Not everyone. And
- 35:48I'd say 95% of people I coach, it's the
- 35:50night time. There's a few that was like
- 35:51not then. Most people it's evening. And
- 35:53for me, my evening involved getting home
- 35:55from the gym, having a protein ice
- 35:57cream. Like I'm talking one of these
- 35:58massive like two two liter ones. I'm
- 36:00getting half full. Then I'm eating a
- 36:02massive bowl of salad with chicken or
- 36:03egg whites or whatever. And I'm so full
- 36:05I can't eat anything else. That's it.
- 36:07I'm full now. I can't. Even if there was
- 36:08a pizza in front of me and I want to eat
- 36:10it, I can't. I'm full. That's what
- 36:12allowed me to stay lean for 20 years.
- 36:15So, what foods should people 100% avoid?
- 36:18There's nothing that you should avoid
- 36:19because if you're craving something, you
- 36:21should allow it. But I would say more
- 36:23so, what food should people eat? You
- 36:26should be eating the salads or the
- 36:27protein ice creams, fruits and
- 36:29vegetables. Eat that first and then eat
- 36:31whatever the food that you're trying to
- 36:32avoid is. Let's say it's pizza. Let's
- 36:34say it's a chocolate bar. Eat those
- 36:35things.
- 36:35>> Is there anything specifically that's
- 36:37like I know that Santa Cruz Medicinals
- 36:39hates the crumble cookie. Like, what are
- 36:41you foods in general that you think are
- 36:43just like cookies don't even taste good.
- 36:45I've done videos on awful
- 36:49I give it like a three out of 10 to an
- 36:50eight out of 10. The foods in that list,
- 36:52it's not that good. There's so many
- 36:54foods that you should avoid or I So,
- 36:57this is what it is. Avoid trigger foods
- 36:59for you. It's going to be different for
- 37:00you than me. Me, it's like cereal and
- 37:02ice cream. Like, I just don't want to
- 37:04stop eating those. For somebody else, it
- 37:05might be like crackers or pretzels or
- 37:06chips. I don't need that. The pretzels,
- 37:09no. Like cookies, I can I can not eat a
- 37:12cookie. But like cereal, oh my god, like
- 37:14the box is gone. It it doesn't it's not
- 37:17it's not something to have in the house.
- 37:18So you keep trigger foods out of the
- 37:20house. Doesn't mean you can never eat
- 37:21them. If I go visit you for a party and
- 37:23you have cereal, I'll eat at your house,
- 37:25but it's not in mine cuz then it's a
- 37:27constant temptation that I have to
- 37:28avoid. If I go to your house once a
- 37:30week, hey, I can eat pretzels chips once
- 37:31a week. No problem.
- 37:32>> What are your temptations, Graham?
- 37:34[sighs]
- 37:38>> I think I could answer.
- 37:39>> I don't really have no trigger foods.
- 37:42Well, that's probably why you're so lean
- 37:43right now.
- 37:44>> There's nothing that's that's really
- 37:45struggling.
- 37:46>> So So my trigger foods in all
- 37:48seriousness is when someone uh brings me
- 37:52food and it's in front of me and it's
- 37:54free or going out to a restaurant.
- 37:56>> Yeah.
- 37:57>> And they say, "Hey, listen. We brought
- 37:58out some free
- 37:59>> bread. It's like buttery bread. Yeah. I
- 38:02can't say no to it because then I feel
- 38:04like I'm being rude
- 38:05>> and I I eat it." Well, it's because it's
- 38:07free and I'll have to like actively
- 38:09because not because I want to do this,
- 38:11but because I know Graham would be
- 38:12happy. I'll just be like, "Don't eat
- 38:14that, Graham." Like I'll literally
- 38:15>> That's great about that. Like I'll just
- 38:16be like Graham will be like, "Do you
- 38:18think I should eat this?" And I'll be
- 38:19like, "Nah." And like 10% of the time
- 38:21I'll say, "Yeah, it's fine." But most of
- 38:22the time I'm just like, "Stop eating
- 38:23this."
- 38:24>> It's funny cuz we me and Marie just had
- 38:26this conversation like 2 hours ago.
- 38:28We're at a buffet. It's like almost $50
- 38:30per meal. I'm like, "Just pretend it's
- 38:32free, but you don't need to eat at all."
- 38:34Cuz before in the past, once I paid the
- 38:36money for the buffet, it's like, okay,
- 38:37I'm going to beat the buffet.
- 38:38>> And I would leave holding up my stomach
- 38:41because I'm like, no, there's room for
- 38:43one more plate. Now I'm like, nah,
- 38:45whatever. If I want to eat a buffet
- 38:46later, I'll just go again. So having a
- 38:48mindset of there's always going to be
- 38:49food. Like just cuz it's there in front
- 38:51of you and it's free doesn't make a
- 38:52difference. You can get it later. Like
- 38:54never think that that you have to eat it
- 38:56now or else. That was hard for me with
- 38:58all you could eat sushi because that is
- 39:00my one splurge in Vegas. And for a
- 39:02while, I took that as a challenge to try
- 39:04to like triple the amount that I paid.
- 39:06And I'd add up like each piece of nigiri
- 39:08and be like, "All right, I got 60 bucks
- 39:09for like 25." I feel like a winner, but
- 39:12I would feel awful the rest of the
- 39:14night.
- 39:15>> Yeah. Winning is not eating till you're
- 39:16full.
- 39:17>> Correct.
- 39:17>> That's the That's the change in mindset.
- 39:19>> I stopped eating at a certain point and
- 39:21now I feel better by doing that. But
- 39:23that was tough for me to be able to cut
- 39:25that off. Like it feels so good to be
- 39:26here having gone to an all you can eat
- 39:28buffet and just be chilling and not be
- 39:30like I I did a show once like a
- 39:33bodybuilding show and I had all you can
- 39:34eat buffet and I interviewed for TSN
- 39:36this TV show and I sat there like this
- 39:38and I was like half asleep eating cuz I
- 39:40had eaten myself into a food coma. I had
- 39:43no control over buffets. The the saying
- 39:44was no buffet is safe. I would eat I
- 39:46would eat I would eat anyone and so I
- 39:48had to stop. And so now I can go to a
- 39:50buffet and eat a normal amount and
- 39:52leave. And I couldn't do that until
- 39:53probably the last 15 years. And I'm 51.
- 39:56So it was a lot of years of me suffering
- 39:58with like I'm going to binge. I can't
- 40:00stop. There's no control. You got to
- 40:01imagine I'm dieting for three or four
- 40:03months for a bodybuilding show. I'm
- 40:04getting down to 5 6 7% body fat.
- 40:06Suffering every night starved out of my
- 40:09mind doing two hours cardio a day to try
- 40:11to not eat. And then suddenly the show's
- 40:13over. Now I get to eat whatever I want.
- 40:15And then you go to a buffet. It's like
- 40:16there there's no stopping you. Something
- 40:18takes control of your body. So I know
- 40:20what it feels like to be fat. I know
- 40:21what it feels like to be morbidly obese
- 40:23because I dieted myself sick trying to
- 40:25stay lean for so long and following
- 40:27those shows. I just wanted to eat, which
- 40:29is why I developed all these like
- 40:31recipes and my cookbook because I knew
- 40:32what it was like to be obese without
- 40:34having been obese. I just imagine any
- 40:36person that's overweight, like 400 lb.
- 40:38They even diet to 300. They feel exactly
- 40:40like me at 5, six, seven% body fat. And
- 40:42that control, that hunger, it's it's not
- 40:45pleasant. So, I don't want anyone to
- 40:46diet themselves down to like single-
- 40:48digit body fat. It's not worth it. But
- 40:50can you do a little bit better? Like,
- 40:51can you get halfway to your goal?
- 40:52Somewhere where it's manageable? And if
- 40:54you need to take a GLP to do that and
- 40:56you're overweight, by all means.
- 40:58>> So, what's a food that people think is
- 41:00healthy, but is really not healthy?
- 41:01>> It depends. But I would say peanut
- 41:03butter is one of the most common. Some
- 41:05people even think Nutella is healthy,
- 41:07but peanut butter, no. Like, not at all
- 41:09healthy.
- 41:10>> Could a peanut butter be a fine part of
- 41:12a diet, though? If you're a
- 41:14cardiovascular king, like if you're me,
- 41:17>> if you are an Iron Man triathlete, but
- 41:20every single bodybuilder that eats a
- 41:22tablespoon of peanut butter on their
- 41:23diet prep, I'm like, your coach is just
- 41:25giving you the old cookie cutter
- 41:27program. You peanut butter is not it. If
- 41:29you're going to eat peanut butter, eat
- 41:31the nuts before you take it to peanut
- 41:34butter. Cuz when you eat peanuts,
- 41:35peanuts, like hard peanuts, a lot of
- 41:37those calories aren't even digested. It
- 41:39comes in, it comes out half undigested.
- 41:40So probably 30% of the calories you get
- 41:42from a peanut, you're not even eating.
- 41:43So
- 41:44>> So one thing that I'll do is I get
- 41:46Optimum Nutrition protein powder and
- 41:48I'll get two scoops of that and I think
- 41:50it's like
- 41:52>> 120 calories for 24 grams of protein or
- 41:56something like that. Sounds about right.
- 41:57>> Two scoops of that and then I'll do like
- 42:00maybe one tablespoon or a tablespoon and
- 42:02a half of peanut butter.
- 42:03>> Why?
- 42:04>> I don't know. Cuz it makes it taste
- 42:06good. And already the the protein and
- 42:08calorie ratio is pretty good. So, why
- 42:10not put in PB2 or put another scoop of
- 42:13the peanut butter?
- 42:14>> What is PB2?
- 42:15>> Oh, PB2 is like uh is that a brand name?
- 42:18What's a brand name? Powdered peanut
- 42:19butter.
- 42:20>> Oh, yeah. I suppose I could do that.
- 42:21>> Like there's all those kinds more of
- 42:22those. Well, what they do is they take
- 42:24the peanut butter and they take all the
- 42:25fat out and they add more protein. So,
- 42:26you're going to get even more protein
- 42:27and less calories.
- 42:28>> Yeah, I could do that.
- 42:29>> That would be way better. There's like
- 42:31some of my recipes literally were that
- 42:32like a powdered peanut butter powder
- 42:34protein powder with PB2.
- 42:36>> When is the last time that you ate
- 42:38peanut butter? We had we had peanut
- 42:40butter about a week ago. Like you have
- 42:42to understand I'm burning off 18 or 1900
- 42:44calories on a bike ride and I'm like I
- 42:47need calories. So like I'm literally
- 42:49eating ice cream cake at my house now.
- 42:51Like I used to have like I have a
- 42:52cookbook on how to lose weight and now I
- 42:54I can barely eat from my own book
- 42:56because the cardio that I'm doing burns
- 42:57so many calories. I'm trying not to
- 42:59>> Why don't you just do less cardio at
- 43:01that point?
- 43:01>> I'm trying to win bike races. I'm a I'm
- 43:03like as much as I was a bodybuilder at
- 43:05one point or a powerlifter, I'm a
- 43:07cyclist that works out now. So, I even
- 43:09have an HDLT bike racing team. We race
- 43:12every week. We're on clubs. We have the
- 43:15super advanced guys that want to go to
- 43:16world championships and we have like
- 43:18lower level tiers for like, you know,
- 43:20beginners and stuff. It's my new
- 43:22passion. That's what I love to do. So,
- 43:24yeah, I'm not going to stop doing
- 43:25cardio. It's what I this my most fun
- 43:27thing I do in a day.
- 43:28>> So, what about flipping it around for
- 43:29the people who want to put on muscle and
- 43:31put on some weight? What do you
- 43:32recommend?
- 43:33>> Eat peanut butter.
- 43:34>> Yes. A lot more peanut butter. Only do
- 43:37zone cardio, zone two cardio. Don't do a
- 43:39lot of hit cardio. It's going to make it
- 43:41too hard to recover from. And obviously
- 43:43focus more on the gym than doing cardio.
- 43:44Just get in your minimum 150. I think
- 43:46Sam Sulick does it really well cuz he's
- 43:48trying to jack Jack jack himself up.
- 43:50He's quite lean. He also promotes
- 43:52cardio. Has a great channel. Great
- 43:53advice for people. And he's a lean guy
- 43:55and he's slowly putting on muscle. the
- 43:57old Sam. I didn't like that version
- 43:59where it was like eat this many calories
- 44:00and bulk up too much. He does everything
- 44:02right. So, I would say go follow Sam if
- 44:04you want to bulk up because
- 44:05>> What do you think about the bulk and cut
- 44:07or do you think that someone should just
- 44:08get lean and then just grow themselves
- 44:10from being lean?
- 44:11>> Bulking and cutting is only good for
- 44:13people who are bodybuilders who get too
- 44:14lean in the first place. So, Sam Sulix,
- 44:17perfect example. Myself, when I was a
- 44:19bodybuilder, you shouldn't maintain four
- 44:21or 5% body fat year round. That doesn't
- 44:22make sense. So, after a show, you need
- 44:24to bulk up. But for somebody who doesn't
- 44:27compete, always keep a roughly the same
- 44:29body fat level within something like 3
- 44:32or 4% points of what's best for you and
- 44:34stay there all the time. Like I've been
- 44:368% to 9% body fat for the last 6 years
- 44:38straight. That's main gaining
- 44:40maintaining your body fat at a certain
- 44:42range training hard and just hoping to
- 44:45put on muscle.
- 44:46>> So you would advise for me that I should
- 44:48>> main gain for sure you should not bulk
- 44:50at all.
- 44:51>> That's exactly what I was thinking. So I
- 44:53was thinking
- 44:53>> correct. I was thinking the exact same
- 44:55thing, but then my friends are telling
- 44:56me that like don't listen to friends
- 44:57unless your friends are
- 44:58>> Kevin, stop telling me what to do with
- 45:00my physique. Kevin's trying to sabotage
- 45:03you.
- 45:03>> Well, Kevin is like naturally like the
- 45:04most ectomorph person ever. Like,
- 45:07>> is he like a lean guy with a full
- 45:08six-pack? Like under 10%. Do you know
- 45:11who Tristan Lee is?
- 45:12>> Yeah.
- 45:13>> So, Tristan Lee is a guy that can bulk.
- 45:15>> He's always singledigit body fat. He's
- 45:17been as low as like 3 point something%.
- 45:19I measured this guy. I'm the calpers,
- 45:22the leanest guy I've ever measured in my
- 45:23life. Leaneran than pro bodybuilders.
- 45:25And he's like, yeah, I just I'm like,
- 45:27why why don't you compete? I wouldn't
- 45:29want to have to diet. I'm like, you've
- 45:30done the diet. You're the thing. Like,
- 45:32you were there. Just step on stage. But
- 45:34he didn't want to diet anymore. But he
- 45:35was so lean. Why doesn't Tristan Lee
- 45:38compete? I think that probably in his
- 45:40head, he he would have so much pressure
- 45:42to try to win or or to look good. And
- 45:44maybe he wouldn't be able to handle the
- 45:45pressure of like, let's say, he gets
- 45:46third or fourth or fifth or doesn't do
- 45:48good. being as famous as he is from such
- 45:50an early age
- 45:52>> and and everyone saying you're the
- 45:53leanest person that's been around. I
- 45:54think that would be a lot of pressure to
- 45:56actually compete.
- 45:57>> Yeah, I think it would be tough on the
- 45:58men on on the mind.
- 46:00>> So, in terms of bulking, I feel like I'm
- 46:01in the same predicament as Jack. So,
- 46:04>> you shouldn't bulk either. You look
- 46:06great right now.
- 46:06>> Just maintain this.
- 46:08>> So, here's the problem is that I feel
- 46:09like I'm not eating enough to be able to
- 46:11put on more muscle.
- 46:13>> You're definitely eating enough to put
- 46:14on more muscle. So, how do you
- 46:16>> How do you know that?
- 46:17>> Okay. after 20% body fat, it's going to
- 46:20actually be harder to put on more
- 46:21muscle. Like your hormones are going to
- 46:23get worse. So, if you get fatter and
- 46:24fatter and fatter, it doesn't make it
- 46:26easier to gain more muscle. You just
- 46:28have been tricked into thinking that
- 46:30it's muscle that you put on. So, if you
- 46:31put on 20 lbs, you go on a bulk and
- 46:33you're like, let's eat 3,000 calories a
- 46:35day, you you now put on 20 pounds,
- 46:37you're now going to be in a more
- 46:38difficult place trying to gain weight.
- 46:40Just how did it work out for you?
- 46:41>> But I should be in a but I should be in
- 46:42a little surplus though, right?
- 46:44something or no?
- 46:45>> No. Even okay, to put on muscle a pound,
- 46:49you need about 2,700 calories. And so if
- 46:51you divide that out, it's like I forget,
- 46:53was it 140 calories a day to put on one
- 46:56pound of muscle a month or something
- 46:57like that, which is a tremendous amount.
- 46:59You can barely even calculate that.
- 47:01>> I think it's 30 calories per day needed
- 47:03to put on 4 lbs of muscle per year of of
- 47:07like a surplus. No one can track 30
- 47:10calories of a surplus. Plus your your
- 47:12neat like your non- exercise activity
- 47:14thermogenesis is going to vary. Like
- 47:16maybe I burned 30 extra calories just
- 47:17fidgeting during this this uh interview.
- 47:20It's it's too hard to track. So there's
- 47:22no point in that. So there's no point in
- 47:24tracking calories to that extent. I even
- 47:26tell people I don't even think you
- 47:27should track calories. You should track
- 47:29your weight.
- 47:30>> You take your weight five to seven days
- 47:32a week. We do this with Marie as well.
- 47:34You you circle the middle number and
- 47:36that's your weight for the week rather
- 47:38than a lot of people do the once a week
- 47:39weighing. It's ridiculous because it
- 47:41could be on a heavy day or a light day.
- 47:43>> Sure.
- 47:43>> Every week you track the median number
- 47:45and if it's going up slowly, then you're
- 47:47doing it right. If it's going down
- 47:49slowly and you're trying to cut, then
- 47:50you're doing that right.
- 47:51>> That's all it takes.
- 47:52>> What if I'm in a calorie deficit just
- 47:54slightly, but I'm lifting really heavy?
- 47:56>> You'll still put on muscle. That's the
- 47:58beauty. If you're at a healthy body fat
- 48:00percentage, which for men is about 15%.
- 48:02>> Tristan Lee is too lean. If he's in a
- 48:04deficit, he's probably not going to be
- 48:05able to put muscle cuz he's that lean.
- 48:07But if you're at a healthy weight for
- 48:08yourself, like 15% for most people, if
- 48:11you're in a deficit for a week, a month,
- 48:13you're still going to put on muscle
- 48:14because the extra like to build muscle,
- 48:16you need energy. And that energy can
- 48:18come start from the body fat on your
- 48:20body.
- 48:20>> Yeah. No problem. Calories.
- 48:22>> My problem is that I always just get fat
- 48:24right here on my belly. That is it. And
- 48:27so this doesn't go away unless I get
- 48:29like 10% body.
- 48:30>> You need to get on the Turk.
- 48:31>> What? Just to lift heavier and build
- 48:32muscle.
- 48:32>> You need to get on the Turk and you will
- 48:34then lift heavier. You will go into the
- 48:36gym, train harder. You will progressive
- 48:37overload, which is the driver of muscle
- 48:39growth. And that that's how it works.
- 48:40>> You don't need to eat more food. If you
- 48:42put on five pounds of muscle and stayed
- 48:44the exact same weight, you would just be
- 48:46a little bit leaner. Your body fat
- 48:48percentage probably down by like 3%.
- 48:50You'd still be healthy and that's all
- 48:52you need to do. I will say the times
- 48:54that I have hit the gym with you, like I
- 48:55said, you're much more consistent, but I
- 48:57see you kind of like
- 49:00and then that's it. But like when I go
- 49:02to the gym, I go less. I'll go a week,
- 49:05but I'll be like and then you know I'll
- 49:07fight for the last
- 49:10>> and I'll go up and do like a couple reps
- 49:12just like squeeze out a few extra.
- 49:14>> The thing with muscle is we all have a
- 49:16certain genetic potential to put on a
- 49:18lot of size. And once you put on more
- 49:20muscle than your genetic kind of limit,
- 49:22it's then so hard to get better. Like if
- 49:24you had never lifted before and you look
- 49:25like this in a year from now, you'd be
- 49:27like, "Holy can't believe how much
- 49:28muscle I put on." But if you're
- 49:29consistently training, hard to make much
- 49:30difference. 80% of the muscle you growth
- 49:32is going to occur from just training
- 49:34your whole body twice a week in two
- 49:35days. So I lift weights twice a week.
- 49:36That's it. I have a lot of muscle. If I
- 49:38wanted to put on more muscle, I would
- 49:40have to probably train three times as
- 49:41much. It would be so hard to put a
- 49:43little bit of muscle on.
- 49:44>> So you think the optimal amount of time
- 49:45to hit the gym is twice a week.
- 49:47>> Twice a week each muscle group. That
- 49:49would be optimal. Some could argue that
- 49:51maybe three times a week would be
- 49:52optimal, but then I think you'd have to
- 49:54do a lot less each day. But for example,
- 49:56you training, let's say you went six
- 49:57days a week and you had a three-day
- 49:59split versus my full body and I just do
- 50:02it twice a week. I'm going to get 80% of
- 50:04the results that you're going to get
- 50:06with only 2 days of training versus six.
- 50:08So walk me through a twice a week
- 50:10workout. So you do your whole body each
- 50:12day about twice a week. So every three
- 50:14or four days depending on if I I go by
- 50:16soreness. If I'm not feeling sore on the
- 50:18third day, sure. If I am, wait till the
- 50:21fourth day. So what you do is you're
- 50:22just doing one exercise per muscle group
- 50:24and that's all you need to do. So maybe
- 50:27two, three sets per muscle. So what I do
- 50:30to keep the most amount of uh time
- 50:32efficiency cuz it's a whole body. It's a
- 50:34lot of working out.
- 50:35>> I go from one exercise to another. So
- 50:36it's basically circuit training. So I'll
- 50:38I'll start with lats. I'll just do pull
- 50:40downs all the time.
- 50:41>> So do a set of that. Then I go and do a
- 50:43chest press. Then I go back and do lats.
- 50:46And I go back and forth. So while my
- 50:48back is resting, I'm doing chest. And
- 50:50then while my chest is resting, I'm
- 50:51doing back. And I only need to do two or
- 50:54three hard sets of that. Then I move on
- 50:55to the next one. So for example, my
- 50:56chest is done. Okay, I'm going to do
- 50:57shoulders now. Two, three hard sets of
- 51:00that. Now it's done. That's done. Let's
- 51:01do the triceps.
- 51:02>> When you do shoulders, what are you
- 51:03doing?
- 51:05>> Calves between a I'll do shoulder press.
- 51:07And it's all machined. So I don't have
- 51:08to worry about like loading up a bar and
- 51:11taking a lot of time,
- 51:12>> right? But there's there's a couple
- 51:14things that I'm curious about. One is
- 51:15like the overall cardio requirements of
- 51:17being able to go from workout to workout
- 51:19cuz sometimes I still rest. I would say
- 51:21a full minute between sets, especially
- 51:24when it's like a harder set. Like my
- 51:26first set is like a warm-up set. I don't
- 51:27rest. I just like whatever. It's like I
- 51:29use maybe two/ird of what I can lift for
- 51:32my main set. And so it's easy. I'll do
- 51:34like 12 reps. And then I just walk over
- 51:35and do 12 reps. I come back and I put
- 51:37the peg down. Then I'm like, "Okay, this
- 51:38time I'm really going to push." Then I
- 51:40start resting a little bit longer, but
- 51:41it's only about a minute. I would say a
- 51:43full body workout for me an hour and 15
- 51:45minutes it would be 90 minutes would be
- 51:47like okay I'm I'm lazy today I'm resting
- 51:49a bit longer you're gonna get 80% of the
- 51:52of the results. So for most people and
- 51:55when I program people when they first
- 51:56hire me I'm like what are your goals?
- 51:59And for most people their goals are they
- 52:01want to look leaner and I'm like okay we
- 52:03need to focus more on cardio and less on
- 52:05weights because you're going to get 80%
- 52:06of the results by training your full
- 52:07body twice a week. Most people are like
- 52:09I just want to lift weights six times.
- 52:10I'm like, "Yeah, but you're wanting to
- 52:11lose weight." Like, how are you going to
- 52:13do that? You're only going to burn like
- 52:13200 calories.
- 52:14>> I heard that lifting weights, though, is
- 52:15a great way to lose the weight. That's
- 52:18another myth. It's not a great way. It's
- 52:20a way, but it doesn't burn enough
- 52:22calories.
- 52:22>> I heard that lean muscle mass burns
- 52:24calories faster than fat does.
- 52:26>> Fat, like, if you have 10 lbs of fat on
- 52:28you, it'll burn two calories per pound,
- 52:29and muscle's about eight. So, it's maybe
- 52:32four times as as metabolically active,
- 52:34the muscle tissue. But what really burns
- 52:37calories is using that muscle. So, when
- 52:39I do zone cardio, zone two, I burn 900
- 52:42calories in an hour. So, you can imagine
- 52:44I'm just zone two. Are you familiar with
- 52:46zone two? It's like talking. It's not
- 52:48really a stress. I could do it for like
- 52:503 hours straight, no problem.
- 52:51>> So, I'm burning 900 calories per hour
- 52:53sitting there. And I'm not even the
- 52:54fastest one on my bike team. There's
- 52:56guys that can do like 1,200.
- 52:58>> So, imagine you're burning 1,000
- 53:00calories per hour. Person B is lifting
- 53:03weights. They're burning about 200
- 53:04calories per hour. So in one hour, the
- 53:07person that does cardio is burning five
- 53:09times more calories than that muscle
- 53:10man. So we got guys on our bike team
- 53:12that might weigh 130, 140 pounds,
- 53:14burning triple the calories of the 200lb
- 53:16bodybuilder on steroids.
- 53:18>> But is the one lifting the weights
- 53:20keeping and retaining more muscle
- 53:22because they're training the muscle?
- 53:24>> Oh, absolutely. If you lift weights
- 53:25versus you're just doing cardio, the
- 53:27person that lifts weights is going to
- 53:28have way more muscle. But we we are we
- 53:30talked about this earlier maybe 30
- 53:32minutes ago and we talked about what
- 53:33should people be going for? trying to
- 53:34get bigger or trying to improve their
- 53:36cardio or get leaner, the leaner is much
- 53:38better. And when people underestimate
- 53:41what cardio can do, like when I'm on a
- 53:42bicycle, I'm literally lifting weights
- 53:45the entire time. Like Marie will attest
- 53:47to this. She's riding a bike. She
- 53:49doesn't really train her upper body,
- 53:50>> but when you're on a bike and you're
- 53:52standing up,
- 53:53>> you're going like this the entire time.
- 53:54So, it's a full body workout. Anytime
- 53:56there's a hill, you're literally doing
- 53:58like a set. It's like a workout. And so
- 54:00your muscles are being used in a a very
- 54:02good way consistently for a full hour.
- 54:04You're burning so many more calories.
- 54:05Then your body gets used to that. It
- 54:07adapts. And the next time you do that
- 54:08cardio, you're a little bit faster. And
- 54:10the next time a little bit faster. So
- 54:12maybe the day one you were out of shape.
- 54:14You're fat. You burn 300 calories an
- 54:16hour. A year later you're definitely
- 54:17burning 600. You're doubling it easily
- 54:20in a year. You're not going to double
- 54:21the amount of calories you're burning in
- 54:22the gym by like just lifting hard. I
- 54:25could take you you give me the strongest
- 54:28bodybuilder in the world. I don't care
- 54:29who that is. He's not going to burn more
- 54:30calories than I am in zone two on a
- 54:32bike.
- 54:32>> The thing that complicates things for me
- 54:34is feeling like I need to hit every
- 54:36small muscle group. Like I know people
- 54:38are now saying, "Oh, you need to hit
- 54:39your neck." Like that's something that
- 54:41people are saying, but you need to do
- 54:42like forearm workouts specifically. You
- 54:44need to go on that one machine that like
- 54:46like you hunch over and it has the thing
- 54:48behind and you like the back.
- 54:51>> I like that back machine though. Well,
- 54:52yeah, you can like it because it's not
- 54:53that hard, but like and then you have
- 54:54the abductors and the adductors and it's
- 54:57like, well, how many things do I need to
- 54:58hit? Because if I did a full body
- 54:59workout, I don't know how much I'm
- 55:00hitting my hip adductors.
- 55:02>> The best way to answer this is to pick
- 55:04muscles [clears throat] that are being
- 55:05worked out like a variety of muscles in
- 55:07one exercise. So, for example, if you're
- 55:09doing a squat, you're training
- 55:10hamstrings, you're training your quads,
- 55:12you're training your glutes, all in one
- 55:13exercise versus if you're doing an
- 55:16isolation one arm curl, like everything
- 55:17I do, it's two arms at the same time.
- 55:20So, when I do lat pull downs, my arms
- 55:23and my back are working. And when I do
- 55:25chest press, my chest and my triceps are
- 55:27working. If you're doing a a bend over
- 55:30row or chest supported row, biceps and
- 55:32back. So, by the time I get to biceps,
- 55:34you only need like two sets. By the time
- 55:36you get to triceps, I only need two sets
- 55:38at most. So, work on like compound
- 55:41movements that work out the majority of
- 55:43the body and then only do those little
- 55:45things after. But like in general, if
- 55:47you're see if you're doing what I'm
- 55:49saying, you're going to be bike riding
- 55:50or you're going to be doing cardio. So,
- 55:52do you really need to do a lot of legs?
- 55:53Like if you're if you're training for
- 55:55bike racing, like some of the things I
- 55:56do is I sprint on a bike for a minute or
- 55:5830 seconds. It's like it's just as hard
- 56:00as doing a squat. I'll argue harder.
- 56:01Like 30 seconds all out on a bike trying
- 56:03to do 1,000 watts for say 30 seconds.
- 56:06It's is just as hard as doing 10 reps on
- 56:08a squat. So, you're doing your
- 56:09weightlifting workout with your legs on
- 56:10the bike. So, I hardly even train my
- 56:12legs. I do a little bit of adductors and
- 56:14abductors, some calves. I don't train
- 56:16quads or hamstrings at all. I gave it
- 56:18up.
- 56:19>> What muscles do people not really need
- 56:20to work out?
- 56:21>> The average person not need to work out?
- 56:23I mean, you need to work out whatever
- 56:25you want to look your best in. If it's
- 56:27just for your health, the only muscle
- 56:28you need to really work out is your
- 56:29heart. Everything else is just bonus or
- 56:31icing on the cake. Like, I would argue
- 56:33the heart is more important than every
- 56:35single muscle combined. So, think you
- 56:36have your heart and your body. If you
- 56:38work out your heart, everything else is
- 56:40going to be worked with that as well.
- 56:41Like if you're walking up an incline or
- 56:44something, your your legs are getting
- 56:45stronger,
- 56:46>> right? But people's neck, like should
- 56:48you be working out your neck?
- 56:49>> If you want to look more aesthetic to
- 56:51get a girlfriend, a thicker neck is
- 56:52going to increase your desiraability.
- 56:56So being a bit thicker here, yes, will
- 56:58help you attract a girl.
- 57:00>> How do you work out your neck?
- 57:02>> Well, when I was 10 years old, we had
- 57:04like Ben Weer's whatever exercise
- 57:06program. This is from a chart from like
- 57:07the 1960s. Literally, we just put our
- 57:09hands on her head and do this. Put our
- 57:11hands behind her back and do that. I
- 57:13remember we had to have a like a shirt
- 57:15and you pull it around and hold it and
- 57:17we're just doing that work. That would
- 57:19work. You can push.
- 57:21>> You actually see it. You actually build
- 57:22muscle doing
- 57:23>> 100%. You could easily I I think you
- 57:26increase your strength by 50% by just
- 57:28using your hand. Like just do this push
- 57:30and do 10 sets of that. You can train
- 57:33your neck. Absolutely. It's hard. Way
- 57:35harder than you think. I remember doing
- 57:36these things when I was 10. And I'm
- 57:38like, I don't want to do this. Dad, do
- 57:40the exercise. The program says to do it.
- 57:41We just did the exercises. Man, I got
- 57:43strong some.
- 57:43>> You were 10 years old doing that.
- 57:44>> 10 years old is when I started lifting.
- 57:46Seriously.
- 57:47>> Is that even healthy for a 10-year-old?
- 57:49>> Absolutely. Especially if you like it. I
- 57:51mean, I fell in love with lifting
- 57:53weights with my twin brother and my dad
- 57:54in my basement at 10 years of age. It
- 57:56was such a good time. I was with my
- 57:58friends and you know, you're playing
- 58:00freeze tag stuff and it be it's 7:00.
- 58:02It's time to lift weights. Yeah, I can
- 58:03run in the house. Guys, you got to go
- 58:05home. Couldn't wait to lift weights. It
- 58:06was the best. I It's such great memories
- 58:08of lifting weights when I was 10. Like
- 58:10even now 41 years later. Yeah. Like
- 58:13absolutely great memories.
- 58:15>> What's a workout you see people doing
- 58:16that's completely pointless?
- 58:18>> None. There is no pointless. Like some
- 58:20people are going to joke around CrossFit
- 58:22and high rocks. I think they're all
- 58:23great exercise, great sport, yoga,
- 58:25pilates. What about the grip strength
- 58:28one?
- 58:28>> If you want to have a strong grip like
- 58:30your Magnus, like I met Magnus last
- 58:32month. He actually broke his thumb in an
- 58:34event. Oh my god. But this guy's got
- 58:35millions of followers. It's the
- 58:36strongest grip in the world. This guy's
- 58:38like one of the strongest. He has like
- 58:40records for his weight. He's a mountain
- 58:41climber. He can climb a mountain with
- 58:43one arm. It's insane. So, if that's
- 58:45important, do it.
- 58:46>> What about these
- 58:47>> front like I don't do that exercise
- 58:50because I'm such a strongly uh developed
- 58:53uh anterior delt like from doing so many
- 58:55bench presses like being a record
- 58:57holder. I did this so much I didn't need
- 58:58to do this. But if you have weakness in
- 59:00these muscles, then why not? But for
- 59:02most people, the rear delts are are
- 59:04underpowered or underdeveloped. Most
- 59:06people do a lot of pushes and they don't
- 59:08do a lot of like this like to develop
- 59:10the rear delt. And so the posture, like
- 59:11you say, you're in computer and all the
- 59:14time,
- 59:14>> you got to open up and and get the
- 59:16shoulders back. So I think that that
- 59:18exercise is is overrated, but for some
- 59:20people it's beneficial. It all depends
- 59:22on the person's body.
- 59:23>> But generally speaking, what does the
- 59:24average person not need to worry about?
- 59:26Like what sort of workout?
- 59:28>> Yeah. Uh yeah, abs. Because if your abs,
- 59:31you can train your abs every single day
- 59:33and if you don't have uh low enough body
- 59:35fat level, you're not going to see it.
- 59:36And if you lift weights, you're lifting
- 59:38your abs. Like all you have to do is
- 59:40like pull your abs or have an injury and
- 59:42you'll find it real quick. You can't do
- 59:43a tricep press down. You can't do almost
- 59:44anything if your abs are sore or if you
- 59:46have an injury. So abs are going to be
- 59:48worked regardless on everything else. So
- 59:50I I I don't train my abs ever. [snorts]
- 59:53Not needed.
- 59:54>> What are your thoughts on taking
- 59:55peptides?
- 59:56>> I think peptides for many people are
- 59:57great so long as you're an adult. If
- 59:59you're not a kid, [clears throat]
- 1:00:01>> GLPs [snorts] are peptides. So, I mean,
- 1:00:04I I'm for it. I think that peptides can
- 1:00:06be great. I think they can be abused. I
- 1:00:08think that young people shouldn't use
- 1:00:09them. But overall, with the right advice
- 1:00:12from the right person, and assuming
- 1:00:14you're getting it from a compounding
- 1:00:15pharmacy prescribed by a doctor,
- 1:00:17absolutely. So, I tore my hamstring on
- 1:00:20April 1st of this year, and I'm still
- 1:00:22going to physical therap Well, I just
- 1:00:23recently started going to physical
- 1:00:25therapy for it like two weeks ago
- 1:00:27because it just hadn't gotten better
- 1:00:29because I would continually like retar
- 1:00:30it when I would play pickle ball or go
- 1:00:32play in my indoor recreational soccer
- 1:00:34league. And so, I started going to PT,
- 1:00:36but I'm thinking about taking BPC 157
- 1:00:39because I've heard a lot of really good
- 1:00:40things online about how it it heals
- 1:00:43injuries very quickly. What are your
- 1:00:45thoughts on BPC57? I've used BPC57 and
- 1:00:48TB500 to heal injuries. I believe that
- 1:00:50it can work. I don't think it works for
- 1:00:52everyone. I think it can work. Some
- 1:00:54people are going to say, "Oh, maybe it's
- 1:00:55not going to. It's risky." It's clearly
- 1:00:58risky to have an injury that keeps
- 1:00:59getting reinjured. So, I would say it's
- 1:01:01worth the effort, worth the try. I would
- 1:01:03do it.
- 1:01:03>> What's the risk?
- 1:01:04>> The risk of using it, I don't know. I
- 1:01:06haven't seen anybody have like a death
- 1:01:08from it or anything. Um, but it's a
- 1:01:10research chemical. It's a research
- 1:01:12peptide. It's not been proven to be safe
- 1:01:14beyond any reasonable doubt. So, there's
- 1:01:17potentially something out there. I
- 1:01:19wouldn't know what possibly could
- 1:01:21happen. What about more chronic pain?
- 1:01:23Because I told my dad I think he should
- 1:01:24look into BPC57 cuz he's like a 64 year
- 1:01:27old guy, but he goes and plays pickle
- 1:01:29ball and his feet are all sore the next
- 1:01:30day and he can get injured here and
- 1:01:32there. And I said, "Hey, I think you
- 1:01:33should look into these like healing
- 1:01:35compounds. Do you think it makes more
- 1:01:36sense for people that could have more
- 1:01:38chronic things as well or not?" Really?
- 1:01:39>> Definitely. I I'm I believe in PPC157
- 1:01:42despite the fact that it's like it's not
- 1:01:44really FDA approved. In some countries,
- 1:01:46you can't sell it. It's kind of on the
- 1:01:47fence. It's not really natty. Like if
- 1:01:49you use it, you're it's banned by water,
- 1:01:51world anti-d doping agency. So if you're
- 1:01:53in Olympics and drug tested and all this
- 1:01:55stuff, you got to be careful. But hey,
- 1:01:57if I'm if I'm injured, I'm using it.
- 1:01:59>> And what about stem cells? We were
- 1:02:01speaking.
- 1:02:01>> I did the stem cells.
- 1:02:02>> Ronnie Coleman and he actually went down
- 1:02:04to Mexico.
- 1:02:05>> Went to Mexico
- 1:02:06>> to do stem cells. When did you use stem
- 1:02:08cells and what did you see? By the way,
- 1:02:09there's a lot to keep track of in this
- 1:02:11conversation. We're talking different
- 1:02:12treatments, claims, studies, and making
- 1:02:14sense of all that information is one of
- 1:02:16the ways we've been using our partner,
- 1:02:18Claude. Even preparing for this episode,
- 1:02:20researching topics, and saving the ice
- 1:02:22coffee hour real time and money with our
- 1:02:24systems and processes, Claude has been
- 1:02:25incredibly useful. Claude is the AI for
- 1:02:28problem solvers. It's the collaborator
- 1:02:30that understands your entire workflow
- 1:02:32and thinks with you, not for you.
- 1:02:33Whether you're debugging code at
- 1:02:34midnight, building a financial model, or
- 1:02:36strategizing your next business move,
- 1:02:38Claude extends your thinking to tackle
- 1:02:39the problems that matter.
- 1:02:40>> No joke, we use this all the time for
- 1:02:43video titles, drafting emails, and
- 1:02:45analyzing channel data to spot patterns
- 1:02:47and then figure out how we can improve.
- 1:02:49We've also been using Claude to actually
- 1:02:51edit our YouTube videos, and this has
- 1:02:53been a ridiculous unlock. This episode
- 1:02:55legitimately took a third of the amount
- 1:02:56of time it used to take to edit. All
- 1:02:58because of Claude. If you are not using
- 1:03:00Claude, you are seriously, seriously
- 1:03:02missing out. Plus, it connects with
- 1:03:03Google Drive, Gmail, and Slack, so it
- 1:03:06could work with the context you already
- 1:03:07have.
- 1:03:07>> And you keep the final say. You review
- 1:03:09the work and approve anything that ever
- 1:03:11gets sent or posted for problems worth

- 1:03:21includes access to all of the features
- 1:03:23mentioned in today's episode. That is
- 1:03:25claude.ai/iced
- 1:03:27coffee. When did you use stem cells and
- 1:03:29what did you see? It was less than a
- 1:03:31year ago. and like three of my like
- 1:03:33really close friends, we all went I had
- 1:03:34injections my shoulder and my hip cuz I
- 1:03:36had a hip surgery many years ago and we
- 1:03:39also did it for the hair like I've had
- 1:03:41who two hair transplants trying to look
- 1:03:43younger than last time. I I believe that
- 1:03:45it works. This is from um in in in
- 1:03:48Mexico was from a placenta I believe.
- 1:03:50>> Does that sound or an embryo or no uh
- 1:03:53the umbilical cord?
- 1:03:54>> Oh, I'm glad I knew that.
- 1:03:55>> Yeah, umbilical cord. So there's
- 1:03:57different laws in different countries.
- 1:03:58I'm like, "Look, I'm going to use
- 1:03:59whatever can possibly work." To me, it's
- 1:04:02like BPC57. Do we know it's working?
- 1:04:05Maybe. To me, it was like a 50/50. So,
- 1:04:07did it work?
- 1:04:08>> I would say I feel better, but I'm not
- 1:04:10certain. Someone could say, "Is it like
- 1:04:12I would say excessively expensive?"
- 1:04:14Like, I think my friends got it for like
- 1:04:15half price, maybe like 15,000 or
- 1:04:17something. Oh,
- 1:04:18>> so it's it's it's not cheap, but it it's
- 1:04:20it's something for like I would say for
- 1:04:22people that are more well off
- 1:04:24>> and but if you're in the in an NFL or
- 1:04:26something and you can get away with it.
- 1:04:27I mean, yeah.
- 1:04:28>> And where did they get it exactly? Like
- 1:04:30did you ask any questions of like how
- 1:04:32did you get this?
- 1:04:33>> Remember they brought it out and it was
- 1:04:34in this sealed box in the se and it's
- 1:04:36like show see this is approval where you
- 1:04:38have to open it in front of you.
- 1:04:39>> It's like the wagoo where they show you
- 1:04:41like the certificate.
- 1:04:42>> Yeah. It's like look at this. This is uh
- 1:04:44you know
- 1:04:45>> honestly I mean you you have to have a
- 1:04:47leap of faith here and trust it. Like I
- 1:04:50can't guarantee I didn't see the
- 1:04:52placenta that it came from. And
- 1:04:54>> how do they get the plac is that just
- 1:04:57donated or are we hoping it's you don't
- 1:05:00ask the question?
- 1:05:02>> I I honestly I don't know. I'm assuming
- 1:05:04that it's it's all 100% legal above
- 1:05:07board. These guys were advertising on
- 1:05:09Instagram and and whatnot. What do you
- 1:05:10think about clavviculum and his looks
- 1:05:12maxing? Do you think that looks maxing
- 1:05:15could have a positive impact on people?
- 1:05:16And do you agree with the sentiment that
- 1:05:18maybe it doesn't make a whole lot of
- 1:05:19sense to like bodybuild to the max to
- 1:05:21get super jacked in the gym and instead
- 1:05:23focus more so on your face with the halo
- 1:05:25effect and how that can improve your
- 1:05:27life? I think looks maxing when done
- 1:05:30appropriately
- 1:05:32and and keeping somebody's age in mind
- 1:05:34is a great thing. I think we should all
- 1:05:36looks max. Um, people call it about hard
- 1:05:38looks maxing versus soft. I think soft
- 1:05:41looks maxing is good versus hard. Um, I
- 1:05:43don't think people should be smashing
- 1:05:44their faces. I don't think people should
- 1:05:46be using testosterone at the age of 14.
- 1:05:48I don't think you should be promoting
- 1:05:50um, looks maxing is the most important
- 1:05:52thing to teenagers or kids going through
- 1:05:55puberty who don't have any uh, sense of
- 1:05:59self or self-worth and trying to tell
- 1:06:01them you have to look a certain way. I
- 1:06:02think it's bad. And so I think
- 1:06:04Clavvicular overall is a horrible
- 1:06:06influence on the world. He's extremely
- 1:06:08popular and I think that the people that
- 1:06:10look up to Clvicular are all people who
- 1:06:11are messed up and they're probably 13 to
- 1:06:1416 years of age. What do you think is
- 1:06:16the result of people following people
- 1:06:19like him?
- 1:06:19>> I think they have less self-worth, less
- 1:06:22confidence, and I think that they think
- 1:06:24that the world only matters if you look
- 1:06:26good. And so if you tried to ascend and
- 1:06:28you tried to do all the things and it
- 1:06:30didn't work, then what? Like what do you
- 1:06:32do then? So, but if you tell them, hey,
- 1:06:35work on yourself, work on your
- 1:06:36personality, maybe you know, progressive
- 1:06:38overload with women. Talk to a girl
- 1:06:40who's a one, you're too shy, talk to a
- 1:06:42one. She's not intimidating. Work your
- 1:06:44way up to a two, three, four. That that
- 1:06:46to me would be better advice than saying
- 1:06:49you have to smash your face and get a
- 1:06:50nose job and a chin implant and jaw
- 1:06:52surgery and and and limb lengthening and
- 1:06:54all this stuff, and if you don't have a
- 1:06:57a Chad face, then you're screwed. It's
- 1:06:59not good. Speaking of a one, one thing
- 1:07:02that I did really recently that I
- 1:07:04thought was fascinating was you could
- 1:07:05just upload a picture of your face to
- 1:07:07all of the different Chad
- 1:07:10Gro Claude etc. and ask it what it rates
- 1:07:13you out of 10. Have you ever done that?
- 1:07:15I did what's See, I'm old school. I'm
- 1:07:17older than you guys. We had something
- 1:07:19called Hot or Not when I grew up.
- 1:07:21>> And so there was even a TV show. And so
- 1:07:23when my first I was in a small town of
- 1:07:25Yarmouth. There weren't many girls. I
- 1:07:27basically was like I'm 22. I had to wait
- 1:07:29till girls turn 18, 19 at this point to
- 1:07:31start dating. There was it's a very
- 1:07:33small town. So I went to the internet
- 1:07:34for dating. So I joined Hotter and I
- 1:07:36would upload all my best model type
- 1:07:39photos where I'm like very lean and it's
- 1:07:42black and white, all the different
- 1:07:43things. And I would get really good
- 1:07:44ratings. So it was good for me. But if
- 1:07:46you aren't at least an eight, it's
- 1:07:48useless. There's no point. So I've done
- 1:07:50all those things.
- 1:07:52>> What muscles do you think women look for
- 1:07:55most in men? Women on average like a a
- 1:07:57small waist and wider shoulders and
- 1:07:59they're going to look at the the beach
- 1:08:00bod muscles more than anything. Um
- 1:08:02they're not going to be looking at your
- 1:08:05legs so much. They definitely notice
- 1:08:07your glutes without question. The most
- 1:08:09underrated muscle that men don't work on
- 1:08:11is by far the ass by by far. Every guy
- 1:08:15works out for themselves. They think
- 1:08:18they're training to impress girls.
- 1:08:20They're trying to impress boys and
- 1:08:22themselves. Men will go into the gym and
- 1:08:24we'll do curls all day long and bench
- 1:08:26presses and so on, but they won't do
- 1:08:28some hip thrust, which is what the girls
- 1:08:30are looking at. Like girls will look at
- 1:08:31guys playing football. The women are
- 1:08:33watching football. That's the only thing
- 1:08:34they care about. They're looking at
- 1:08:35these asses bent over throwing the
- 1:08:37football around. So, you got to work
- 1:08:39your glutes. That that is a must for for
- 1:08:42the men. Men don't work their legs cuz
- 1:08:43you can wear pants and they don't need
- 1:08:45to see that. Or look at the men's
- 1:08:46Olympia here and they're in board
- 1:08:48shorts. Like literally the the best
- 1:08:51attractive men in the world and you're
- 1:08:52covering up their legs. Like that
- 1:08:54doesn't make any sense. So men know that
- 1:08:58abs is going to help and so they'll go
- 1:08:59on a diet and they'll work their abs,
- 1:09:01but they can still cover their legs up.
- 1:09:03So men still don't have legs, but I
- 1:09:05would say that my legs are probably my
- 1:09:07best body part. And I don't even train
- 1:09:08them, but I do the bike ride, which is
- 1:09:10technically training them. And so I
- 1:09:12think if you want to stand out as a man,
- 1:09:14um, the wide shoulders, small waist, so
- 1:09:16lean enough, and having still an ass,
- 1:09:19which is still going to be hard because
- 1:09:20if you're very lean, just like women,
- 1:09:22you're going to lose the glutes. So just
- 1:09:23like as a man, if you're very low body
- 1:09:25fat, your butt's going to be a lot
- 1:09:26smaller.
- 1:09:28>> Absent of a butt.
- 1:09:30>> Yes, but only but only because on
- 1:09:34Reddit, that exact question was asked
- 1:09:36and most women said forearms.
- 1:09:39>> And then women are liars. Remember the
- 1:09:40last time I came on here, we said that
- 1:09:42you don't ask women what they think, you
- 1:09:44tell them what to think. Women do not
- 1:09:46care about the forums. This is not
- 1:09:47>> okay. That was like the number one thing
- 1:09:48of like what women look for.
- 1:09:50>> They also wrote on the Reddit about
- 1:09:52their hands. There was two hands and
- 1:09:54said, "Which hands you like?" And it's
- 1:09:55like, "Yeah, a thicker hand was better,
- 1:09:57but they had all these guys doing hand
- 1:09:58workouts to try to impress." I'm like,
- 1:10:00"Look, spend less time on that and get a
- 1:10:02job and have some money." Girls care
- 1:10:03about your wallet. One thing I'm seeing
- 1:10:05a whole lot more recently is on the
- 1:10:08apps, girls talk about biceps and I've
- 1:10:10seen it on like Instagram reels of like
- 1:10:12girls grabbing guys biceps.
- 1:10:13>> They do like a big arm. Definitely.
- 1:10:15>> I I I knew that this was a thing like a
- 1:10:17long time ago when I was in like, you
- 1:10:18know, middle school and high school and
- 1:10:19then I completely forgot it as a thing
- 1:10:21and I thought they kind of just liked,
- 1:10:22you know, abs or whatever. And then all
- 1:10:24of a sudden I feel like it becomes all
- 1:10:25of the rage once again is like big
- 1:10:27biceps on a guy. The thing is the
- 1:10:29impressiveness of an arm is so low
- 1:10:33standard. Like it's so much easier to
- 1:10:36get a nicer impressive bicep than a
- 1:10:38glute. Like my arm is 2 in bigger than
- 1:10:40it needs to be to be impressive. Like
- 1:10:41you don't need 17inch arms to to have a
- 1:10:44decent body. It's like just have a
- 1:10:46little bit of bicep. You guys know
- 1:10:47Charlie Penguin Zero? He's got like 20
- 1:10:49million followers.
- 1:10:50>> You ever seen him flex his bicep?
- 1:10:52>> Yeah.
- 1:10:52>> He's got it. He's got the arms.
- 1:10:54>> He's only about 155 lbs. He's not a big
- 1:10:57guy. He does a little bicep shot and
- 1:10:59he's like, "Whoa, impressive." You don't
- 1:11:01need like Will Tennis and arms to have a
- 1:11:03good a good impressive arm.
- 1:11:05>> Is it a good thing to be so conscious
- 1:11:08about the way that you look?
- 1:11:09>> I don't think it's a good thing to be
- 1:11:10overly conscious. And I think I'm
- 1:11:12definitely over the line of
- 1:11:13consciousness for that. And I think it's
- 1:11:15because of my involvement in
- 1:11:16bodybuilding, which is why I warn a lot
- 1:11:18of people, be careful of bodybuilding.
- 1:11:20Even though it did great things for me,
- 1:11:22it also did some bad things. I abused
- 1:11:23steroids for 10 years. I regret that. I
- 1:11:26it took I took it as far as I could
- 1:11:28natural. I did 42 shows 100% natural. I
- 1:11:30did the best I could, but eventually I
- 1:11:32was tempted to use steroids because I
- 1:11:33wanted to get that IFBB Pro card. So,
- 1:11:35anyone that gets into bodybuilding does
- 1:11:36good. Eventually, they're going to be
- 1:11:38like, I want to use steroids. And I see
- 1:11:39all these amazing physiques. They're
- 1:11:40natural. They're 16, 17, 18, and boom,
- 1:11:43they're on steroids. Why? Because they
- 1:11:44want to bodybuild. And so, bodybuilding,
- 1:11:46it can play mind tricks. It can make you
- 1:11:48think you're too small. And so, when I
- 1:11:49was younger, I always thought I was fat
- 1:11:51because I would do a bodybuilding show
- 1:11:52and then I would gain 20 pounds after.
- 1:11:54still I'm still pretty lean for a normal
- 1:11:56guy, but I'm like comparing myself to
- 1:11:58that day on stage with the the the tan
- 1:12:00and the oil and I'm like, "Oh man, I
- 1:12:02feel kind of fat compared to that." And
- 1:12:03so it it it can cause body dysmorphia.
- 1:12:06So you don't like the way you look.
- 1:12:07You're always thinking about it. And so
- 1:12:08I really caution people, be careful if
- 1:12:11you get into bodybuilding because it is
- 1:12:12a tough sport. And I say that from my
- 1:12:14own experience. I wish that people would
- 1:12:15realize that growing up is realizing
- 1:12:17Coach Greg was right all along. I mean
- 1:12:19guys, I'm 51. I've done the things. I've
- 1:12:21done the shows. I know what it's like. I
- 1:12:23was in your shoes at one point. And so
- 1:12:24when I tell you like it's a scary sport,
- 1:12:26it's a scary sport.
- 1:12:27>> So if someone's trying to ascend, give
- 1:12:30us the first five things they do today.
- 1:12:32>> Number one is to lose weight for sure.
- 1:12:34There's no there's no there's nothing
- 1:12:37more important than that.
- 1:12:38>> They need to get a nice haircut. They
- 1:12:40need to to like to groom themselves.
- 1:12:42Like grooming completely. They need to
- 1:12:44dress nice including like shirt, pants,
- 1:12:46like all the way down to even in shoes.
- 1:12:49I didn't realize this when I was
- 1:12:50younger. I used to just wear a tank top
- 1:12:51and sneakers all the time. So, that's
- 1:12:53three. And then, uh, having more muscle,
- 1:12:55like putting on muscle. I think that
- 1:12:56comes like after all these. And then the
- 1:12:58fifth one, ascending, man. I would say
- 1:13:02probably getting your teeth fixed in
- 1:13:04white. Like, straightening your teeth
- 1:13:06and having white teeth. I think teeth is
- 1:13:08is a huge thing for for people. Like,
- 1:13:10you notice it right away if somebody has
- 1:13:11a nice smile.
- 1:13:12>> Yeah. And what do you do if they're
- 1:13:14short and what do you do if they're
- 1:13:16broke?
- 1:13:16>> If you're short, make sure you're not
- 1:13:18bald and fat. And if you're broke, make
- 1:13:20sure you're not bald and fat. So bald,
- 1:13:22fat, and short. This is the three worst
- 1:13:24things you could be.
- 1:13:25>> Do you think that I should start taking
- 1:13:27finasteride right now?
- 1:13:30>> There's I use using finasteride and it
- 1:13:32has potential and for me negative sexual
- 1:13:35side effects. So less bedroom
- 1:13:37performance.
- 1:13:38>> But what if I started taking finasteride
- 1:13:39and seialis?
- 1:13:41>> That could counter. But rather than
- 1:13:43taking finasteride, I would use ferula
- 1:13:45max, which a company sells a halt.
- 1:13:47Ferula, I'm I'm taking it right now. You
- 1:13:49just take one pill every three or four
- 1:13:51days. It's going to have like the same
- 1:13:52effects of the uh the finasteride in
- 1:13:54terms of keeping more of your hair. So,
- 1:13:56that's one of the huge side benefit
- 1:13:58benefits of this product. Fertiliz
- 1:14:00something that boosts testosterone.
- 1:14:01>> So, finasteride stops production of DHT,
- 1:14:04right?
- 1:14:05>> That's the thing though, like I have a
- 1:14:06lot of body hair and so I don't want I
- 1:14:09and body hair comes from production of
- 1:14:11DHT and then hairline up top recedes
- 1:14:14because of production of DHT. So it
- 1:14:16seems like the exact perfect thing for
- 1:14:17me would be DHT inhibitors.
- 1:14:20>> I would take dutasteride if if I had to
- 1:14:23recommend something over finasteride.
- 1:14:24Finasteride there's the sexual side
- 1:14:26effects like the potential to like
- 1:14:29not be able to have an erection but also
- 1:14:32not have the same
- 1:14:32>> what if I just took it if I had that
- 1:14:34problem.
- 1:14:34>> Well if you take seialis it doesn't make
- 1:14:36you want sex more. It just makes you
- 1:14:39ability to perform it if you're in the
- 1:14:40mood easier but it doesn't increase that
- 1:14:43desire. We're not talking about like
- 1:14:44oxytocin or something where it's like
- 1:14:46>> right but but that's still a small
- 1:14:48percentage of people that have that side
- 1:14:50effect with finasteride. So
- 1:14:51>> I've had two of my friends have that
- 1:14:53effect including me. So I don't know if
- 1:14:55it's under reportported but I mean from
- 1:14:57the sample size that I've had it's not
- 1:14:59really worth it.
- 1:15:00>> You don't think it would be worth it
- 1:15:00just to try it out and if I notice that
- 1:15:02then I just
- 1:15:03>> I was telling try it. I've been on
- 1:15:05finasteride for seven years now. half a
- 1:15:09milligram or one
- 1:15:10>> uh one milligram a day
- 1:15:11>> and I was really worried about the side
- 1:15:14effects and I was like very cognizant
- 1:15:16about everything and I was in my head I
- 1:15:18think the first month cuz I heard horror
- 1:15:20stories online
- 1:15:21>> even the thought of it could trigger it.
- 1:15:23>> Yeah. And I was aware of that and at the
- 1:15:24end of the day I was exactly the same. I
- 1:15:27noticed zero difference whatsoever.
- 1:15:28>> Low before low after.
- 1:15:29>> If anything I would lower your dose to
- 1:15:32every other day instead of every day. I
- 1:15:33think that would be more beneficial. I
- 1:15:35don't think you need to do as much as to
- 1:15:37me that's a high dose. I think that you
- 1:15:39would get as many benefits as you're
- 1:15:40getting or at least 80% with half the
- 1:15:42dose. And so why
- 1:15:43>> even if I've been on it for seven years
- 1:15:45now at
- 1:15:45>> I would still Yeah, I would still lower
- 1:15:47it.
- 1:15:48>> See, I like the idea. Well, that's But
- 1:15:50you're not experiencing any side
- 1:15:51effects. So like what do you Yeah. Like
- 1:15:52I would like to start taking it because
- 1:15:54my hair is totally fine right now,
- 1:15:57>> but I just know over the course of the
- 1:15:59next 20 years it's going to continually
- 1:16:01slowly slowly slowly recede. And as
- 1:16:03Clviculum says, if you lose your hair,
- 1:16:06you lose everything. [laughter]
- 1:16:09>> You lose a lot. You don't lose
- 1:16:10everything.
- 1:16:10>> You lose everything.
- 1:16:11>> Yeah. Well, he's What does he say? Like,
- 1:16:13if you you lose the game if you lose
- 1:16:15your hair or something like that. Like,
- 1:16:16if you don't have your hair, you have
- 1:16:17>> I think in a video he said he'd rather
- 1:16:18chop off his than lose his hair. And I'm
- 1:16:20like, well, if you chop off your and you
- 1:16:22have hair, how are you what are you
- 1:16:23going to you're not going to be able to
- 1:16:24do anything anyway? So, at least
- 1:16:26>> does it ma? I feel like it only matters
- 1:16:28if you don't have a good like shaved
- 1:16:30head look. Joe Rogan looks amazing.
- 1:16:32>> If you shave your head and you own it,
- 1:16:34you can look great. Like the rock looks
- 1:16:36great. Certain people, um, no problem.
- 1:16:39But if you're losing your hair, it's
- 1:16:40just you're automatically less
- 1:16:42attractive. You know, it's funny.
- 1:16:43There's this AI picture of Logan Paul
- 1:16:45without any hair. He looks really good
- 1:16:48without the hair. Like really good. And
- 1:16:50I feel like if you just had that look,
- 1:16:52you're like it looks better than having
- 1:16:54hair in a in a weird intimidation of
- 1:16:56just like it's a powerful thing to not
- 1:16:59have hair. Jason Stasm. I think this is
- 1:17:01another guy. It's like some some guys
- 1:17:03can really pull it off, but not everyone
- 1:17:04can.
- 1:17:05>> What are your thoughts on the modern
- 1:17:06dating scene? What do you think women
- 1:17:08are getting right and wrong? And what do
- 1:17:09you think men are getting right and
- 1:17:10wrong?
- 1:17:10>> The modern dating scene is a mess.
- 1:17:13Online dating is is is done. It's over.
- 1:17:16It's okay for hooking up if you're at
- 1:17:18least an eight out of 10 or higher. Um
- 1:17:20the women who are on there because
- 1:17:22there's so much less women on there are
- 1:17:23being able to hook up with the guys who
- 1:17:25are eight nines and tens even if they're
- 1:17:26sixes but for one night. And so then the
- 1:17:28women because they've had that guy one
- 1:17:30time think, "Well, that's what I
- 1:17:31deserve." So then they think they're
- 1:17:32more attractive than they are. So anyone
- 1:17:34that's on online dating, you're ruined.
- 1:17:36And so what you need to do is go out and
- 1:17:38meet people in person. Like online
- 1:17:40dating isn't going to cut it. You need
- 1:17:41to
- 1:17:41>> How did you and Marie meet?
- 1:17:42>> She messaged me. And so yeah, she she
- 1:17:45sent me a DM
- 1:17:46>> online.
- 1:17:47>> She messaged me. It's not online dating.
- 1:17:49>> But you guys met online. And you
- 1:17:50>> I would say the biggest problem What's
- 1:17:52that?
- 1:17:53>> I was a follower. Like I was watching
- 1:17:54him like every single day for three
- 1:17:56years. So, I I knew who I was needing.
- 1:17:59>> What women need to do to solve the
- 1:18:01problem is they stop they need to stop
- 1:18:03making men chase them. Women need to
- 1:18:05say, "I like this guy. I'm going to go
- 1:18:07after him." Because that would solve
- 1:18:08everything because
- 1:18:10women are the uh I don't know, the
- 1:18:12gateway to sex or whatever the word is,
- 1:18:14the the gatekeepers of sex. And men are
- 1:18:16the gatekeepers of, let's say,
- 1:18:18relationships or marriage. And so, the
- 1:18:20women need to go and chase the men that
- 1:18:21they want because they're the ones that
- 1:18:23are the gatekeepers. Men are just
- 1:18:24chasing all these girls. Half the time
- 1:18:26you don't know if they actually like you
- 1:18:27or not. They're just trying to get laid.
- 1:18:28And so the women don't know what to do.
- 1:18:30Should I have sex with this man? I want
- 1:18:31to be with him. And then they have sex
- 1:18:32and then the guy dumps them and it's
- 1:18:33like it's just a big game. So there's
- 1:18:35problems there. But if women go after
- 1:18:37the guys that they want, life would be
- 1:18:39pro all life problems would be solved.
- 1:18:41This is it. That's all that women have
- 1:18:42to do is just start to make the first
- 1:18:44move, chase the guys that they want. And
- 1:18:46how much should a man financially
- 1:18:47support the girl that he's dating? For
- 1:18:49example, in your relationship, she
- 1:18:51already makes a lot of money. She said
- 1:18:52she makes over half a million dollars a
- 1:18:54year. Like what do you how do you know
- 1:18:56what you're supposed to pay for and what
- 1:18:57she's supposed to pay for?
- 1:18:58>> I think you should pay for as much as
- 1:19:00you can as a guy.
- 1:19:01>> So, it's a guy's job to pay for
- 1:19:02everything.
- 1:19:03>> I think that in general that's what
- 1:19:04women want. And I think that the ones
- 1:19:06that say that they don't are lying. And
- 1:19:08I think that women want a guy to
- 1:19:10provide. It makes them feel safe and
- 1:19:12comfortable and it's attractive. And so,
- 1:19:14I think you should pay as much as you
- 1:19:15can. If you can't afford it, then don't.
- 1:19:18Like if you're poor, you you're you're
- 1:19:20working the best you can. You don't have
- 1:19:21money, you're going to have to go for a
- 1:19:23girl that doesn't want that or need
- 1:19:25that. If you're with a girl that needs
- 1:19:27more money, pay as much as you can, do
- 1:19:28the things that you need to do. Just
- 1:19:30make sure that the only reason they're
- 1:19:31with you isn't for your money. If
- 1:19:33they're with you for other things, then
- 1:19:34hey, the money is a bonus. What's your
- 1:19:36advice to Jack
- 1:19:37>> to do for dating? Do you think like what
- 1:19:40would you rate me out of 10
- 1:19:42>> on what scale? A clvicular scale or like
- 1:19:45my scale?
- 1:19:46>> Your scale? I would say eight on 10.
- 1:19:48>> Okay, I'll take it because then that
- 1:19:49means I meet the threshold.
- 1:19:50>> Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:51>> Successful in dating apps.
- 1:19:52>> You're also famous probably give me like
- 1:19:54a four.
- 1:19:54>> Yeah, his scales is is horrible. I mean,
- 1:19:56I he would say you're probably a six or
- 1:19:58something like that. Like, which is
- 1:20:00still probably pretty good on his scale.
- 1:20:01>> So, for dating, you would recommend that
- 1:20:03I go out to train.
- 1:20:05>> You need to meet people in the real
- 1:20:07world. And I think that the best way is
- 1:20:08to meet people that you like. Now,
- 1:20:10unfortunately, you like pickle ball,
- 1:20:12which is the same thing that I like, but
- 1:20:14most women who I've seen play pickle
- 1:20:15ball are 60. So, you're gonna have a
- 1:20:17hard time meeting some hot girls, but
- 1:20:19like if you were at my crew in Halifax,
- 1:20:21you'd see like, "Oh, these are hot girls
- 1:20:23playing pickle ball." Like, we had the
- 1:20:24Zatti Cup at my house not too long ago.
- 1:20:26So, like we're big on pickle ball. We
- 1:20:28had tournaments and we have ch like
- 1:20:29every year we have a pickle ball
- 1:20:30tournament for my birthday. We're all
- 1:20:32into pickle ball and these are
- 1:20:33good-looking people. So, you you do the
- 1:20:35events that other people like. So, if
- 1:20:37you're into pickle ball, I would go to
- 1:20:39pickle ball and I would start talking to
- 1:20:40girls who are playing pickle ball. You
- 1:20:41have the same interest. If you like
- 1:20:43basketball, go do that. If you're into,
- 1:20:44I don't know, cut curling, what whatever
- 1:20:47it might be. Go and do the activities
- 1:20:49that they're doing and eventually you
- 1:20:51start talking and then you can start
- 1:20:52dating these people that have similar
- 1:20:53interests. See, my strategy has been I
- 1:20:55scroll Instagram, I see someone who
- 1:20:57looks interesting, send her to Jack and
- 1:21:00then I hope he reaches out. I like I
- 1:21:03>> my feed right now because I've been
- 1:21:05sending Jack so many messages. It's all
- 1:21:07women playing the piano for some reason
- 1:21:10and artists.
- 1:21:11>> Look at this. [laughter]
- 1:21:14>> They're all potential wives for Jack. So
- 1:21:17>> like So you're just you're finding these
- 1:21:19girls who are playing the piano and
- 1:21:21sending them to him and saying go talk
- 1:21:23to her.
- 1:21:23>> Yeah. Yeah. I usually like DM them. So
- 1:21:26here is the current meta. You're famous
- 1:21:27enough where that actually can work. But
- 1:21:29this is not normal advice for like the
- 1:21:30people watching at home.
- 1:21:31>> No, we're talking about Jack right now.
- 1:21:32>> For you, you could just message a bunch
- 1:21:34of girls that you think are hot and just
- 1:21:35be like, "Hey, I think you're hot. We
- 1:21:37should go on a date." That would work.
- 1:21:39>> I have not tried that yet. You should.
- 1:21:40>> That might be a little too forward. I
- 1:21:43don't know. For me, what I like I'll
- 1:21:45typically just like have a random
- 1:21:47message that I'll send off to them and
- 1:21:48it works sometimes, but the problem is a
- 1:21:50girl that has what I've noticed like
- 1:21:52over 10,000 followers on Instagram, 85%
- 1:21:55of them are going to be guys and then of
- 1:21:57that 85% there's probably going to be
- 1:21:59like 10% of them, right? So like 85
- 1:22:01dudes that are going to be like really
- 1:22:02really really good, right? Like they're
- 1:22:05either making a lot of money or doing
- 1:22:08really cool things or they're super
- 1:22:09attractive or like they're allers around
- 1:22:12cool people. Exactly. and they have they
- 1:22:14have game because they practice it. And
- 1:22:15so like it's really hard to find girls
- 1:22:18on Instagram, but girls on Instagram are
- 1:22:20generally very attractive. And so it's
- 1:22:22like okay, well they meet the first
- 1:22:24threshold and it's easier obviously if
- 1:22:26you're like sitting on your couch and
- 1:22:27you're like sending out Hail Marys than
- 1:22:28[laughter] I'm trying to filter on the
- 1:22:30meat aisle.
- 1:22:31>> I'm trying to filter them and get the
- 1:22:32ones with talent. You know, if I see
- 1:22:34they're a great piano player, great
- 1:22:36artist. I'm trying to come up with
- 1:22:38people who actually have some substance
- 1:22:40because there's a lot of them that just
- 1:22:41post these pictures and then I send them
- 1:22:43off the jacket. I'm like, "Yeah, they're
- 1:22:45probably getting too much attention
- 1:22:46versus this uh you know, they're playing
- 1:22:48the Moonlight Sonata." Really nice.
- 1:22:50>> See, that's the problem. All these girls
- 1:22:51that you're talking to, if they're
- 1:22:53good-looking enough that you're
- 1:22:54interested, then there's probably a
- 1:22:55bunch of attractive guys that are also
- 1:22:57interested, but they're not all going to
- 1:22:58be the ones that are going to be good
- 1:22:59for them. They might be the ones that
- 1:23:01have a yacht and say, "I'll pay this
- 1:23:02much to come to Dubai and hang out with
- 1:23:04me." There's this is this just a
- 1:23:05horrible thing on the internet is that
- 1:23:07the whole world is able to date these
- 1:23:09people so that everyone thinks that
- 1:23:10their guy is two levels up from them. So
- 1:23:13most eight out of 10 women try to get
- 1:23:15tens. Six out of 10 try to get eights.
- 1:23:17It's just no one wants to date where
- 1:23:18they're at. They're all dating above. So
- 1:23:20it's a huge problem. So all you can do
- 1:23:22is just ask a bunch of them out. I call
- 1:23:24it the shotgun effect. Ask out 10.
- 1:23:27>> Yeah.
- 1:23:27>> Say, "Hey, I think you're really cute. I
- 1:23:29like that you play the piano. I'm not
- 1:23:30going to beat around the butch. I think
- 1:23:32we should go out tonight. I'd like to do
- 1:23:34this. And just take her out to something
- 1:23:36simple. Don't spend a lot of money on
- 1:23:38the first date because you want to
- 1:23:38eliminate the girls that are only using
- 1:23:40you for your money. And do something
- 1:23:42fun. Walk in the park, go for coffee,
- 1:23:43chat, whatever. Whatever it is that's
- 1:23:45simple that you like and then chat and
- 1:23:48see if you have anything in common. Then
- 1:23:49get a more serious date after that. You
- 1:23:51can start spending money on day two if
- 1:23:52you want, but not on day one. So Kevin,
- 1:23:55what Greg was saying is that I should
- 1:23:57get lean and then start building muscle
- 1:23:59from being lean as opposed to right now
- 1:24:02trying to like bulk and get more muscle
- 1:24:04and then cut and be lean. You
- 1:24:06recommended the ladder. He just said the
- 1:24:08former is better. What do you have to
- 1:24:10say about that?
- 1:24:11>> Uh I mean I think you would look better
- 1:24:13lean, but you told me your goals were
- 1:24:16what? Building muscle.
- 1:24:17>> Mhm. You can do both. You can stay lean
- 1:24:20and put muscle on at the same time.
- 1:24:23Well, there you go.
- 1:24:24>> All right.
- 1:24:25>> You can have your cake. I screw you. I'm
- 1:24:27[laughter] right and you're wrong. All
- 1:24:28right. Now, the real reason why we
- 1:24:30brought Kevin here, aside from
- 1:24:31vindicating me, is you're going to rate
- 1:24:33Kevin's physique.
- 1:24:34>> Okay.
- 1:24:35>> All right. Go ahead, Kev.
- 1:24:36>> We got to see his abs. This is
- 1:24:38>> Kevin. You're really bulked up, dude.
- 1:24:40>> Let's go.
- 1:24:40>> All right. Take off his shirt.
- 1:24:41>> All right.
- 1:24:42>> Cuz I I remember I remember you like a
- 1:24:46ye Holy.
- 1:24:47>> Oh, yeah. Great physique.
- 1:24:49>> When did this happen?
- 1:24:50>> It's 9.5 out of 10. and Oh, yeah. It's
- 1:24:54great physique. He's got a small waist.
- 1:24:56He's got abs. He's not even flexing.
- 1:24:57He's got wider shoulders. He's got a
- 1:24:59vein coming down his arms. Turn around
- 1:25:01from the Let's see the the back here.
- 1:25:03>> Oh, yeah. Nine and a half out of 10.
- 1:25:05This is the physique. This is You You
- 1:25:07don't need any more muscle to attract
- 1:25:08girls. You're You're set where you're
- 1:25:10at, right? Yeah. Absolutely.
- 1:25:11>> Can we cut this? Actually,
- 1:25:14>> this sucks for me.
- 1:25:14>> He's been working out for like 3 months.
- 1:25:16>> Yeah, it's genetics.
- 1:25:17>> What are you What are you Are you taking
- 1:25:19anything?
- 1:25:19>> Uh, yeah. I'm on um I'm on like 600
- 1:25:22milligrams of TRT. I'm just kidding. Uh
- 1:25:25no, I've been working out consistently
- 1:25:26for like 3 months, but like I was
- 1:25:29>> What the? [laughter]
- 1:25:30>> No, no, but I was I was I started
- 1:25:32working out like when I was 16 and it's
- 1:25:34like I've been on and off with the
- 1:25:36workouts and then I recently picked it
- 1:25:37back up 3 months ago.
- 1:25:38>> Okay, so you got muscle memory. You used
- 1:25:40to work out and you're just back into
- 1:25:41it. It's like 3 months of working out.
- 1:25:42This is already there.
- 1:25:43>> That's insane.
- 1:25:44>> Imagine with three years if you hadn't
- 1:25:46trained. But
- 1:25:46>> dude,
- 1:25:47>> yeah, you don't need to train. Like guys
- 1:25:49think they need like so much muscle to
- 1:25:51look good. It's ridiculous. Most girls
- 1:25:53will say if you have more muscle it's
- 1:25:54actually a bad thing. Yeah. The frame
- 1:25:55>> the Bruce Lee thing going on. You know
- 1:25:57>> why do you is he Tristan Lee Bruce Lee?
- 1:25:59You guys got the lead.
- 1:26:01>> It's kind of like you're only comparing
- 1:26:03you [laughter] just with less muscle.
- 1:26:04>> Is a physique like Hussein far hat with
- 1:26:07less muscle but Hussein is like quite
- 1:26:09big upper body.
- 1:26:10>> Yeah. Remember what I said earlier what
- 1:26:11guys need the wide uh wide shoulders and
- 1:26:13a small waist. It's like this is the
- 1:26:15most important. He probably work on his
- 1:26:16glutes. I'm sure
- 1:26:17>> we don't see the legs or anything, but
- 1:26:19like and he's in pants. You don't need
- 1:26:21to show the legs.
- 1:26:22>> See what I mean? Guys can get away with.
- 1:26:24They don't need to show their legs off.
- 1:26:26>> All right. Well, Kevin, thank you for
- 1:26:28>> I have a question for Greg if you don't
- 1:26:29mind.
- 1:26:29>> Yeah.
- 1:26:29>> Uh like out of
- 1:26:30>> Speaking of the
- 1:26:31>> Okay. Yeah.
- 1:26:32>> Uh based on my physique, like what
- 1:26:33muscle group do you think I should focus
- 1:26:35on?
- 1:26:35>> Glutes, but I don't see them. But like
- 1:26:37>> upper body?
- 1:26:38>> No, show me your glutes.
- 1:26:39>> No, no, no. [laughter]
- 1:26:40>> Right on the camera. This will be for
- 1:26:41members of
- 1:26:42>> for like bodybuilding purposes.
- 1:26:44>> Yeah. shoulders, the the side delt,
- 1:26:46because if you got even wider, it's just
- 1:26:48going to make the frame look even more
- 1:26:49ridiculous.
- 1:26:50>> Yeah, that's what Claude told me. So,
- 1:26:52>> wow. Really,
- 1:26:53>> Greg is right on with Claude. Go.
- 1:26:55>> Definitely.
- 1:26:56>> All right. Sweet. We appreciate you
- 1:26:57guys.
- 1:26:57>> All right. Yeah. Thanks, C.
- 1:26:58>> Yeah. So, I mean, he could he could
- 1:27:00afford to bulk because he's so lean
- 1:27:02right now, but like if you're if he had
- 1:27:0410 more pounds of fat on, I would be
- 1:27:05like, why would you bulk? That would be
- 1:27:06stupid.
- 1:27:07>> Greg, you know what would crush? If you
- 1:27:08could come out with an AI something or
- 1:27:10other that tells you what you need to
- 1:27:12work on. Well, we have it. my uh me and
- 1:27:15Eric Janicki the sculpted app. It drops
- 1:27:17October 1st.
- 1:27:18>> It literally has like we fed in like 200
- 1:27:21yeah bodies and I gave the body fat
- 1:27:23analysis trained AI to treat to teach
- 1:27:25how to do a body fat assessment.
- 1:27:27>> It analyzes your physique front to back
- 1:27:29takes whatever a lot of several minutes
- 1:27:32and then it shoots out which body fat or
- 1:27:34sorry which muscles you need to work
- 1:27:36out. So your biceps are a little bit too
- 1:27:38small and it designs a workout catered
- 1:27:40to developing that physique so that you
- 1:27:42have the ideal physique literally that's
- 1:27:44in that app.
- 1:27:45>> So the third claim is that most men who
- 1:27:47take steroids would have been better off
- 1:27:49never touching them.
- 1:27:50>> Yes, most people definitely because most
- 1:27:53people who take steroids are not doing
- 1:27:54so with the advice of a doctor. If it's
- 1:27:57a doctor that's telling you to take them
- 1:27:58and prescribing them or you're low on
- 1:28:00testosterone, then absolutely you're
- 1:28:01better off with them. But most people
- 1:28:03are taking them and then when they take
- 1:28:04them they're taking too high of a dose
- 1:28:05and it's shortening their life and when
- 1:28:07they get older then they'll regret it.
- 1:28:08By by then it's too late. Do you worry
- 1:28:10it's becoming too normalized?
- 1:28:12>> It's of course I'm not worried that it
- 1:28:13is. I know that it is. It's way too
- 1:28:15normalized. It's it's it's gotten crazy.
- 1:28:17Like 16 year olds are doing steroids now
- 1:28:19and bragging about it. It's at this
- 1:28:21point it's it's insane. Well, what's the
- 1:28:23outcome of something like that? Well,
- 1:28:25people are going to continue to use them
- 1:28:27even more. every person that uses it has
- 1:28:29a fan couple years younger and so it
- 1:28:31trickles down to younger and younger
- 1:28:32people using steroids and then what
- 1:28:34we're going to see is in the future more
- 1:28:36and more people are going to die. All
- 1:28:37these side effects are going to come
- 1:28:38through and we're going to see people
- 1:28:39dying younger and younger and younger.
- 1:28:40Now you've previously said that people
- 1:28:43should be transparent about using
- 1:28:45steroids and that's almost a form of
- 1:28:46harm reduction if people are open about
- 1:28:48it. But do you feel like people being
- 1:28:50open about it is also advertising it?
- 1:28:52>> Definitely. That's the negative part
- 1:28:54about it. So the positive about me
- 1:28:56saying, "Hey, I've used steroids. I've
- 1:28:58done this." Is so that they don't think
- 1:28:59that they can get the same physique
- 1:29:00without steroids. It doesn't put
- 1:29:01unrealistic expectations, but it also
- 1:29:03allows people to know more about it. But
- 1:29:05it's the same thing like anything. Like
- 1:29:06when we were kids, they would say, "Oh,
- 1:29:08don't teach these people about sex
- 1:29:10because then they'll want to do it." Or
- 1:29:11it's the same thing like drugs. Oh, if
- 1:29:12you start telling people that this this
- 1:29:14is a drug, this is what exists in the
- 1:29:15world, there's going to be more people
- 1:29:17want to do it. But I always think that
- 1:29:19like um honesty is the best policy and
- 1:29:22and admitting things that that's going
- 1:29:23on. And so you're better off admitting
- 1:29:25the truth than to just to hide it from
- 1:29:27people and then to have them find out on
- 1:29:28their own.
- 1:29:29>> Do you think people have taken steroids
- 1:29:31because of your videos?
- 1:29:32>> Definitely 100% for sure. But I think
- 1:29:35there's more people that have stopped or
- 1:29:38not taken it than who have started
- 1:29:40because of me. And so if there's 5,000
- 1:29:44that took it because of me and said I
- 1:29:46want to be the next Greg or I want to do
- 1:29:48it because of what he's done, then
- 1:29:49there's probably 10,000 that stopped
- 1:29:52because of what I've done. So, I think
- 1:29:53there's a net positive, but there's
- 1:29:55certainly some people that have had that
- 1:29:57because of my videos, it's it's done bad
- 1:29:59things for sure.
- 1:30:00>> What would you tell your 16-year-old son
- 1:30:01if he says to you that I want to look
- 1:30:03exactly like you did?
- 1:30:04>> I would say how bad of an idea that is.
- 1:30:06It's like it's not not good that there's
- 1:30:10too much pressure. I would explain to
- 1:30:11how hard it was to bodybuild, how much
- 1:30:14uh low energy I had, the the feelings I
- 1:30:17had, the the pressure that I had, and
- 1:30:19I'd say it isn't worth it. I would
- 1:30:20probably try to steer my own kids, if I
- 1:30:22had one, to do a different sport. I say,
- 1:30:24"Can we not try maybe running or
- 1:30:27basketball or pickle ball? There's so
- 1:30:28many other sports that we could do aside
- 1:30:30from bodybuilding." Um, bodybuilding,
- 1:30:32one of the worst sports you could do in
- 1:30:33the world. So, I wouldn't, if I had a
- 1:30:35kid, be like happy that they want to
- 1:30:37follow my footsteps and do the same
- 1:30:38sport.
- 1:30:39>> What about people taking TRT? How many
- 1:30:41actually need it versus how many people
- 1:30:43are just taking it because they want to
- 1:30:44get more muscle and have more energy? If
- 1:30:46I had to put a percentage, I would say
- 1:30:48at least 90% of people on TRT don't need
- 1:30:50it and it's just an excuse to go on a
- 1:30:52cycle. At least 90%. What's the harm if
- 1:30:56they start taking TRT?
- 1:30:57>> The harm is that once you start getting
- 1:30:59used to it and you like it, you're going
- 1:31:00to do more. So, it's kind of like, let's
- 1:31:02say,
- 1:31:02>> it's like aderall.
- 1:31:03>> Yeah. Everything that's bad that we
- 1:31:06could list, gambling, drugs, any
- 1:31:08anything, it's the worries that they're
- 1:31:11going to do more. And so, most people's
- 1:31:13TRT is not TRT. It's like uh it's a
- 1:31:16small cycle. Like even my dose at 140
- 1:31:19for most people is way too high. Most
- 1:31:21people would need 100 or less, but most
- 1:31:23people doing TRT are doing 200 to 250,
- 1:31:25which is way too much. It's ridiculous.
- 1:31:27What's the worst part about it? And
- 1:31:29what's the worst thing that you've seen?
- 1:31:31The worst part about bodybuilding is the
- 1:31:32pressure to use drugs and the
- 1:31:34encouragement to do it. It's not just
- 1:31:35like you can use it. It's like why
- 1:31:38aren't you using it yet? Like you have
- 1:31:40to imagine I was natural 42 shows and
- 1:31:42everyone's you're natural and you look
- 1:31:43like that. Why aren't you on drugs yet?
- 1:31:45What what are you waiting for? And so
- 1:31:47it's kind of like I should take
- 1:31:49steroids. Like you're encouraged, you're
- 1:31:51like molded into doing this. They're
- 1:31:52like why aren't you on drugs? Versus
- 1:31:54other sports, let's say you're doing the
- 1:31:56100 meter dash. It be like you would be
- 1:31:58thinking well maybe I should cheat and
- 1:31:59and and use steroids to to like win. But
- 1:32:01in bodybuilding it's not cheating. It's
- 1:32:03expected. What percentage of guys who
- 1:32:06use testosterone are doing it actually
- 1:32:09for performance as opposed to
- 1:32:11replacement? Well, the majority of
- 1:32:13people doing using steroids is are using
- 1:32:15it for cosmetics and not for
- 1:32:16performance. Most people on steroids is
- 1:32:19to look better. It's certainly for the
- 1:32:20aesthetics and not for performance. So,
- 1:32:22it's not mostly by athletes. So, we all
- 1:32:24picture the bodybuilder competing. It's
- 1:32:27almost none of those people. That's such
- 1:32:28a small percentage of people using
- 1:32:30steroids. It's almost always guys who
- 1:32:31want to look better with their shirts
- 1:32:32off in the summer. Have fitness
- 1:32:34influencers made people less healthy or
- 1:32:37more healthy?
- 1:32:37>> I think that overall more healthy
- 1:32:39because I think most fitness influencers
- 1:32:41are not encouraging steroid use. They're
- 1:32:43actually healthy people, but just that
- 1:32:46maybe some of the people that come to
- 1:32:47mind are are guys like guys who are on
- 1:32:50steroids or or competing in the Mr.
- 1:32:51Olympia. But most fitness influencers
- 1:32:53aren't bodybuilders. We just maybe think
- 1:32:55of it that way. Who's the worst fitness
- 1:32:58influencer right now?
- 1:32:59>> Eric English. He's 16. So his audience
- 1:33:02is all I'm going to say 12 to 16 years
- 1:33:05of age. And so knowing that he's on
- 1:33:07steroids, knowing that he's promoted
- 1:33:09peptides, so much so that Instagram had
- 1:33:12to ban him and he's still on TikTok and
- 1:33:13he's still promoting these horrible
- 1:33:16videos and he's still trying to put on
- 1:33:17more size. It's it's horrible because
- 1:33:20his influence is so big. It's because
- 1:33:22he's such a famous guy and he's so young
- 1:33:24and I think when he gets older he's
- 1:33:26going to regret what he's doing. But the
- 1:33:27way I see it is it's almost not his
- 1:33:29fault because he's so young. It's
- 1:33:30basically like he was almost groomed to
- 1:33:31be like this.
- 1:33:32>> What do his parents think about this?
- 1:33:33>> He only has his dad left. His mother
- 1:33:35passed away from cancer maybe a couple
- 1:33:38years ago. He became so famous as like
- 1:33:41an 11year-old, like a really young kid
- 1:33:43with such a great message, him and his
- 1:33:45sister. But you get into the fitness
- 1:33:48industry. I think he's sponsored by like
- 1:33:50Young LA or whatever it is. And it's
- 1:33:52like all the people not all a lot of
- 1:33:55those athletes are also on steroids. So,
- 1:33:57you meet your your peers and they're on
- 1:33:59steroids. They're a little bit older and
- 1:34:00then you're tempted to do the same thing
- 1:34:02and then you do it and then your
- 1:34:04followers are younger than you and you
- 1:34:06see him doing it and then they do it and
- 1:34:08it keeps trickling down younger and
- 1:34:10younger and younger. Before you know,
- 1:34:11we're going to see 12-year-olds on
- 1:34:12steroids.
- 1:34:13>> Do you think it's body dysmorphia at
- 1:34:15that point or do you think it's more
- 1:34:17just pure pressure?
- 1:34:18>> I actually I don't think it's body
- 1:34:20dysmorphia at that point. Like he's not
- 1:34:21not that he's competing. I think it's
- 1:34:22that it's a it's it's the dopamine, the
- 1:34:24addiction. the the bigger you get, the
- 1:34:26more compliments you get. Every time you
- 1:34:28add 10 pounds in your bench press, every
- 1:34:30time you add another pound of muscle,
- 1:34:32>> every photo that you post where you're
- 1:34:33doing the bicep and you're getting a
- 1:34:35thousand likes, a million likes, a
- 1:34:36comments, you're going to be a pro and
- 1:34:38it's it's so addictive. Like, how do you
- 1:34:40tell a kid to stop wanting that? It you
- 1:34:44you can't. So, the social media is
- 1:34:46ruining it for everyone.
- 1:34:47>> So, what do you think are the long-term
- 1:34:48consequences of Eric English's usage?
- 1:34:50There are millions of teenagers right
- 1:34:53now being shown somebody who's extremely
- 1:34:56successful because of using steroids and
- 1:34:58they're going to think why wouldn't I do
- 1:35:00the same thing? But in his own personal
- 1:35:02life, what do you think is going to
- 1:35:03happen to his health?
- 1:35:04>> Well, he posted uh 3 4 days ago, I have
- 1:35:08sleep apnnea. I just recorded a video on
- 1:35:10Eric. It's posted right now. It says
- 1:35:12Eric English is going to die. So, what
- 1:35:14is going to happen? He's literally going
- 1:35:16to die. Like literally. What's causing
- 1:35:18the sleep apnnea?
- 1:35:20>> When you put on much more muscle and
- 1:35:22your neck gets thicker and you have more
- 1:35:24muscle, there's more pressure on your
- 1:35:25throat and you can't breathe is probably
- 1:35:27so during the night you're literally
- 1:35:29suffocating and that's taking years off
- 1:35:31of your life. It's really really bad. So
- 1:35:33during the night you wouldn't be able to
- 1:35:34breathe. So you're basically like waking
- 1:35:37yourself up multiple times a night
- 1:35:38without being able to breathe. That's
- 1:35:40just like early on. And that's going to
- 1:35:42continue to progress and it's going to
- 1:35:44spread throughout the body. different
- 1:35:45problems, kidney, liver, heart.
- 1:35:47Horrible.
- 1:35:48>> At his current rate, how long do you
- 1:35:49think he has to live?
- 1:35:50>> I think if he continues to abuse
- 1:35:51steroids like this, he'll be in his
- 1:35:53mid20s.
- 1:35:55It's bad. Really bad. Imagine sleep
- 1:35:58apnea at 16. He's already He put on 80
- 1:36:00lbs of muscle in like a year or two and
- 1:36:02he's bench pressing 405 at 16. Like I I
- 1:36:07trained I was mid20s before I could do
- 1:36:08that. Do you think he's now suffered
- 1:36:11permanent damage for the rest of his
- 1:36:12life or do you think if he stopped
- 1:36:14everything tomorrow that he'd be fine?
- 1:36:16[snorts] It's there's a chance that it's
- 1:36:18not permanent, but probably there is to
- 1:36:20the same extent I'm sure that I had
- 1:36:22permanent damage that I'm not aware of
- 1:36:23that's happened. So, for example, left
- 1:36:25ventricular hypertrophy. So, enlargement
- 1:36:27of the heart, it's it's getting bigger.
- 1:36:29And even though I'm off steroids right
- 1:36:32now, there's probably damage that's
- 1:36:34there that I'm not aware of that you
- 1:36:35won't see. And so, let's say I live to
- 1:36:37be 80. I probably would have lived to be
- 1:36:3985, 90. You You just don't know. So
- 1:36:42hopefully he stops sooner rather than
- 1:36:44later. And just like anything, if you're
- 1:36:46smoking cigarettes for 10 years, well,
- 1:36:48if you stop, that's you're going to live
- 1:36:49longer than if you do the one more year.
- 1:36:51Is it safe to quit steroids cold turkey?
- 1:36:54>> It's safer than continuing.
- 1:36:56>> Okay.
- 1:36:57>> It isn't really safe because when you're
- 1:36:59on steroids, you're going to have uh a
- 1:37:01whole lot of testosterone, but then your
- 1:37:02body isn't producing it anymore. Your
- 1:37:04balls are basically on vacation. It's
- 1:37:05going to take a long time to wake them
- 1:37:07up. So you'll have a period of time
- 1:37:08probably 6 months maybe a year cuz he's
- 1:37:10young probably closer to 6 months where
- 1:37:12he's going to have extremely low levels
- 1:37:14of testosterone. So when I cut out
- 1:37:16testosterone after abusing it for 10
- 1:37:17years my testosterone levels wasn't
- 1:37:19being produced. So I went to the doctor,
- 1:37:22testosterone levels in the toilet, 47
- 1:37:24nanogs per deciliter roughly, sent me to
- 1:37:26an endocrinologist, a specialist in
- 1:37:28hormones, who did not want to prescribe
- 1:37:30st uh testosterone or steroids or
- 1:37:32whatever for me. But he's like,
- 1:37:35you not having TRT is worse than you
- 1:37:37having TRT. And I made an oath to do no
- 1:37:40harm, and I know that if I don't
- 1:37:41prescribe this, you will have worse
- 1:37:43health than if you do this, cuz your
- 1:37:44body is not producing testosterone,
- 1:37:46which is bad for your heart and all
- 1:37:48these things. So, not just your heart,
- 1:37:49your mentality, everything. So, yeah,
- 1:37:51it's bad, but it'll bounce back. But, I
- 1:37:54mean, if he if he really should stop, he
- 1:37:56should probably take something like
- 1:37:57inclapine or or something to get him to
- 1:38:00bounce back. HCG, these different
- 1:38:01things.
- 1:38:02>> Have your thoughts changed on Togi?
- 1:38:04>> Toi's uh a lot better now. Well, Togei
- 1:38:06used to be the worst influencer, but
- 1:38:07since that time, he went from promoting
- 1:38:10steroids and using recreational drugs
- 1:38:12all the time to basically donating half
- 1:38:14his money to charities and not doing
- 1:38:17drugs and finding God. So, he's he's
- 1:38:20basically done every good thing you
- 1:38:22could imagine except he still promotes
- 1:38:24gambling. So, that's the only bad thing.
- 1:38:25I say only, but it's pretty bad. But,
- 1:38:27like I can understand why he would. It's
- 1:38:29just it's he loves doing it. It would be
- 1:38:30like me promoting bodybuilding when I
- 1:38:32was a bodybuilder. It's like you love it
- 1:38:34so much you want other people to share
- 1:38:35your passion, but that passion is
- 1:38:37horrible.
- 1:38:38>> Do you feel like you had any part in
- 1:38:40that change?
- 1:38:41>> You making videos and calling them out
- 1:38:43and
- 1:38:44>> I I I'd like to think so. And I mean, he
- 1:38:46said in some videos, hey, I want to get
- 1:38:48my blood work better than Coach Greg or
- 1:38:51like Greg's going to look at my blood.
- 1:38:52So maybe he's thinking like, geez, if I
- 1:38:54keep doing these things, my my blood
- 1:38:56work is going to keep getting bad or
- 1:38:57maybe if I stop it will get better. So I
- 1:39:00would like to think that I've made a
- 1:39:01difference. What's your advice to him
- 1:39:03today?
- 1:39:03>> Keep doing what he's doing and stop
- 1:39:06gambling.
- 1:39:07>> So, we have pictures of different
- 1:39:08physiques and then you're going to
- 1:39:09answer questions about these physiques.
- 1:39:11>> Mhm.
- 1:39:12>> Can someone achieve this physique
- 1:39:14naturally?
- 1:39:15>> Yeah, many people can. Probably 25% of
- 1:39:19people could get that physique
- 1:39:20naturally.
- 1:39:21>> Can the average person achieve this
- 1:39:23naturally though without extreme
- 1:39:25suffering and having a life? Definitely
- 1:39:27not. Like in other words, if you're an
- 1:39:30average person and you use a GLP and you
- 1:39:32train hard for 10 years and you dedicate
- 1:39:34yourself six days a week and you do your
- 1:39:35cardio, I would say a lot of people
- 1:39:37could achieve this physique, but they
- 1:39:39would hate their lives looking like
- 1:39:40that. They would like the compliments.
- 1:39:43Um, but it's [snorts] not worth it. I
- 1:39:46think that's way too lean for somebody
- 1:39:48to try to maintain. It's not healthy to
- 1:39:50be that lean. And so that's like to me
- 1:39:53not a type of physique that somebody
- 1:39:54should be aspiring to get to. It's it's
- 1:39:57too hard. Although it's not impossible
- 1:39:59to get. What's the hardest part about
- 1:40:01this?
- 1:40:01>> The leanness being that lean. Like he
- 1:40:04probably suffered to get like that.
- 1:40:07>> So yeah, that that very hard to get.
- 1:40:09>> Yeah. What about something like this?
- 1:40:10>> What's his name again?
- 1:40:11>> Cristiano Ronaldo.
- 1:40:12>> A photoshop version of Cristiano is way
- 1:40:14harder to get than Brad
- 1:40:15>> Pit.
- 1:40:16>> What did I say?
- 1:40:17>> Cristianado.
- 1:40:18>> I can't pronounce this guy's name. This
- 1:40:20is tough. This is way harder to get than
- 1:40:23um Brad Pitt for sure. And this is like
- 1:40:26he doesn't even look like this. So, how
- 1:40:27long would it take someone that's
- 1:40:29starting from average to look like this?
- 1:40:31>> I would say 10% of people could get like
- 1:40:34this, maybe. And it would probably take
- 1:40:365 to 10 years of training.
- 1:40:37>> What about Kevin?
- 1:40:38>> And they would suffer like this.
- 1:40:39>> How long would it take Kevin to look
- 1:40:40like this?
- 1:40:41>> How long could Kevin take to look like
- 1:40:43this? It would be different. I think
- 1:40:45Kevin could surpass this look in five
- 1:40:48years.
- 1:40:48>> Really?
- 1:40:49>> Yeah. This see with Cristian Aldo the
- 1:40:51problem is his his waistline is a bit
- 1:40:53thicker but his conditioning is really
- 1:40:54good but he has a much better aesthetic
- 1:40:58physique.
- 1:40:59So he he could look better than this.
- 1:41:01>> What about Jack? Could Jack look like
- 1:41:03that?
- 1:41:03>> I don't think you could look like this.
- 1:41:06>> Could I look like that?
- 1:41:07>> No.
- 1:41:09>> With with steroids? For sure. Like
- 1:41:12absolutely both.
- 1:41:12>> What would it take for me to look like
- 1:41:14that without steroids?
- 1:41:15>> Better genetics.
- 1:41:18Let's just say I want I mean
- 1:41:20>> but let's just say I want to look like
- 1:41:21that. I said I want to dedicate.
- 1:41:23>> How many people hire me that say these
- 1:41:24kind of things? They'll be like Greg I
- 1:41:26want to look like you. I'm like well I
- 1:41:28want to look like I'm not going to look
- 1:41:30like you. I I feel like I have a chance
- 1:41:32if I said hey all I want to do for the
- 1:41:34next 5 years is dedicate my life to
- 1:41:37looking like that. At the end of the
- 1:41:38five years I want to look like that.
- 1:41:40I'll eat whatever you say. I'll do
- 1:41:41whatever work naturally.
- 1:41:43>> I think you could look like your own
- 1:41:45version of what you would look like but
- 1:41:46it would be different than this. It's
- 1:41:48just a different look. It's like you
- 1:41:50could look for you amazing, but it would
- 1:41:53be a different look than this. You could
- 1:41:55get that body fat percentage in two
- 1:41:56months easily, but you wouldn't have the
- 1:41:58size. So, you would need to train for a
- 1:42:00long time to get that. And remember,
- 1:42:02we're looking at a photoshopped version
- 1:42:04of Ronaldo, who's one of the best
- 1:42:06athletes in the world.
- 1:42:07>> What about this?
- 1:42:09>> No, he can't even look like this without
- 1:42:10steroids. What's this guy's name? He's
- 1:42:12that Creed guy, the fighter.
- 1:42:14>> Michael B. Jordan.
- 1:42:14>> So, Michael B. Jordan is not an attie.
- 1:42:16So he's using steroids to look like
- 1:42:18this. And so to look like this, you
- 1:42:20would also need steroids. Now, what
- 1:42:21percentage could do this natural?
- 1:42:23>> One in a thousand really
- 1:42:25>> guys could probably achieve this look
- 1:42:27natural. Like I think I had probably a
- 1:42:29better build than this when I was
- 1:42:30natural, but I also had great genetics
- 1:42:32and I trained my whole life for.
- 1:42:34>> And you know 100% he's not natty.
- 1:42:36>> No, nothing's 100%. But I would bet a
- 1:42:39lot of money that I would
- 1:42:40>> What are the giveaways?
- 1:42:42>> The size and the fact that see I I know
- 1:42:44his transformation more. I I know how
- 1:42:46much muscle he put on a certain period
- 1:42:48of time. So just looking at that
- 1:42:50physique, I can't tell if he's natural
- 1:42:52or not. It's how fast somebody puts
- 1:42:54muscle on in a short period of time. And
- 1:42:57when you say, "Oh, I put on 20 pounds of
- 1:42:59muscle in four to 6 months." It's like,
- 1:43:02what do you mean? Especially if you
- 1:43:03haven't like if you average 5 pounds of
- 1:43:05muscle a year and suddenly you put on
- 1:43:0620. Well, that year you did something.
- 1:43:08But just having a physique like that
- 1:43:09doesn't mean you don't.
- 1:43:10>> Yeah. What about this? Surely I could
- 1:43:12get that.
- 1:43:13>> Uh, still no. No.
- 1:43:15>> Still, still no. These are some of the
- 1:43:17best physiques in the in the world in in
- 1:43:19the movie entertainment. Like, you got
- 1:43:21to imagine this guy is famous not just
- 1:43:23because of his acting skills, but
- 1:43:25because of his physique. So, we're
- 1:43:26thinking about all the people that would
- 1:43:28want to be in his shoes. There's
- 1:43:30probably a million.
- 1:43:31>> They're all actors. They they pick out,
- 1:43:33okay, who has the acting skills? And
- 1:43:35then it's like, who has the physique to
- 1:43:36go with that? So to compare to the top
- 1:43:3910 actors physiques on you know movies.
- 1:43:44>> So let's just say then let's just say I
- 1:43:46want to look like that and I'll do
- 1:43:48whatever it takes
- 1:43:49>> then probably within a year
- 1:43:51>> if I what what do I have to do to do
- 1:43:53that
- 1:43:54>> just test
- 1:43:55>> just testosterone
- 1:43:56>> just I think he's also 66.
- 1:43:58>> Well it doesn't matter the height for
- 1:44:00you know disproportionately.
- 1:44:02>> You could tell me he was 5' 6 or 6' 6. I
- 1:44:05can't tell him. I feel like I could look
- 1:44:06like that naturally, working out
- 1:44:08consistently and eating a good diet uh
- 1:44:11in a year.
- 1:44:12>> Aren't you working out now though?
- 1:44:14>> Yeah, but not as strong as I probably
- 1:44:17could and I can eat.
- 1:44:18>> How often are you working out right now?
- 1:44:19>> Six days a week, but some of those are
- 1:44:21really just like some of those are
- 1:44:22cardio days where I just I put on a
- 1:44:24podcast. I listen to a podcast. Uh you
- 1:44:26know,
- 1:44:26>> you're lifting already six days a week.
- 1:44:28If you told me I only lift weights twice
- 1:44:30a week and mostly I do cardio and I only
- 1:44:32train half ass, I would say maybe. But
- 1:44:35because you're already the fact you're
- 1:44:36going to the gym 6 days a week, even if
- 1:44:38you're training half ass, you're getting
- 1:44:3980 to 90% of the benefit that you could
- 1:44:42get already. Like the difference from
- 1:44:43training moderately hard to like perfect
- 1:44:45and having the best app, like using my
- 1:44:47sculpted app, doing everything, you're
- 1:44:50only going to talk about 10 or 20%
- 1:44:52difference here.
- 1:44:54>> Now, there's 0% chance you can look like
- 1:44:56this guy.
- 1:44:58>> Thanks,
- 1:44:58>> David Laid. I can't look like David.
- 1:45:01>> He didn't know who David Laid was like a
- 1:45:03month ago. David Le is one of the most
- 1:45:06aesthetic physiques in fitness industry
- 1:45:08of all time. So he's up there with
- 1:45:09Jeff's side. He would be the next guy
- 1:45:12after Jeff Seed in this world of
- 1:45:14aesthetics. He's about 6'3 and about 200
- 1:45:17lb shredded and he as he made a crazy
- 1:45:19transformation which made him famous. He
- 1:45:21was like 13 14 years of age. He
- 1:45:23basically had no muscle and then he got
- 1:45:24huge. Is he natural?
- 1:45:25>> He's not natural either. And I think
- 1:45:27he's probably natural now, aside from
- 1:45:29peptides, which he's admitted to, which
- 1:45:30is why we know he's not natural because
- 1:45:32he's used banned peptides. But he also
- 1:45:34had a period of time when he put up 80
- 1:45:36lbs on his bench press from 315 to 395
- 1:45:39in a matter of like 3 months. And he was
- 1:45:41also deadlifting 675 lbs at about or
- 1:45:44maybe even 700 something at like 18 19
- 1:45:46years of age. And so David Le all of a
- 1:45:48sudden there was a period of time in his
- 1:45:50teen years he just blew up in terms of
- 1:45:52strength and that was when he was most
- 1:45:54suspicious. So, I've done a natty or
- 1:45:55not, and I didn't think that he was
- 1:45:57natural. So, I've stated not natty, but
- 1:46:00crazy proportions. He is the most like
- 1:46:03what this guy looks like,
- 1:46:05>> except for he would not be able to get
- 1:46:06to that level natural, I don't think.
- 1:46:08>> So, here's an old photo of me,
- 1:46:09>> and we're talking about Kevin when I
- 1:46:11said he. Yeah.
- 1:46:12>> Yeah.
- 1:46:13>> Okay. This is an old photo of me, guys.
- 1:46:16What about it?
- 1:46:17>> Yeah.
- 1:46:17>> How long until Graham can look like
- 1:46:19that?
- 1:46:19>> Get back.
- 1:46:20>> Oh, I was going to say, how long did I
- 1:46:21take to look like that? Um, yeah. This
- 1:46:23is not going to happen.
- 1:46:24>> Were you on steroids during that?
- 1:46:25>> This was natural at uh I think I was
- 1:46:29160 something pounds at the time. So,
- 1:46:33this is a lot of muscle, which is oddly
- 1:46:34enough. I'm way bigger than that now,
- 1:46:36but you can't tell. It looks It looks
- 1:46:38like a lot. It's me in the pool.
- 1:46:41I I I I'm I'm 160 something pounds, and
- 1:46:44this is the day after competing in a
- 1:46:46bodybuilding competition.
- 1:46:47>> So, you seem to really remember this
- 1:46:49day. What was your first meal after Oh,
- 1:46:52God. I don't know. This is probably
- 1:46:542000. I'm going to guess 2006.
- 1:46:57I think is 2006. And I believe I was
- 1:47:01164, five, six pounds somewhere on
- 1:47:04there.
- 1:47:08And so we have Samson Dota
- 1:47:11morphed into 100 extra pounds of muscle.
- 1:47:13>> This is absolutely crazy. [sighs]
- 1:47:16>> Yeah.
- 1:47:16>> How long until Graham can look like
- 1:47:18that? until until they develop AI robots
- 1:47:21and they can transfer his brain into the
- 1:47:23robot.
- 1:47:24>> Lastly, we have this
- 1:47:26>> Sam Sulic. Yeah, I don't even At my
- 1:47:29biggest, I wasn't even that big.
- 1:47:31>> So, even with steroids and I was like
- 1:47:3440, I still wasn't as big as him at like
- 1:47:3625.
- 1:47:36>> Do you think 230 lbs shredded in there?
- 1:47:39>> Do you think he'll end up being number
- 1:47:40one?
- 1:47:41>> He has 0% chance. Not even a one in a
- 1:47:43million shot of being number one.
- 1:47:45>> Him?
- 1:47:46>> Not even close.
- 1:47:48The a better question would be, could he
- 1:47:49ever win a pro show? Could he ever be in
- 1:47:52the top 50 in the world? I would say no.
- 1:47:55Maybe one in a thousand chance of being
- 1:47:56in the top like 50. Sam has is almost
- 1:48:02maximized what he can do in classic
- 1:48:03physique. He's basically at the top of
- 1:48:05the weight class. And so if he put on 5
- 1:48:07lbs more muscle, he can't compete in
- 1:48:08that category. And so the reason he
- 1:48:10can't be the best in the world in
- 1:48:11classic physique, which would be like
- 1:48:12Sebum or Raone Dino or Mike Summerrfeld,
- 1:48:14all these guys, is because of the frame,
- 1:48:16like the genetics of his body. He
- 1:48:18doesn't have the aesthetics, the
- 1:48:19smallest waist, the widest shoulders,
- 1:48:21the that pleasing look. He's just really
- 1:48:24good at what he does. And trust me,
- 1:48:26being an IBB pro and where he is, like
- 1:48:28he's like he gets, I think, eighth place
- 1:48:30or so in his last bodybuilding show as a
- 1:48:32pro is hard to do, but there's nowhere
- 1:48:34to go. Like I saw Anton at this at the
- 1:48:37show here just before I came in. Anton
- 1:48:39is 22 years of age.
- 1:48:41>> Anton could not diet for a month and
- 1:48:45still beat him at the future best that
- 1:48:46he could ever be. It's not even close.
- 1:48:48>> What makes Anton so superior?
- 1:48:51>> Anton's waist is like 4 in smaller. All
- 1:48:54his muscles are more bubbly. The the
- 1:48:57insertions look better. The detail, the
- 1:49:00crispiness. Like there's certain parts
- 1:49:03of a body that just look better. Like
- 1:49:04some people's bodies look amazing. Like
- 1:49:06Seabbum has horrible legs from the
- 1:49:09front. Like the the quads don't look
- 1:49:11that good. His hamstrings don't look
- 1:49:12that good. Rean Grimes, his hamstrings
- 1:49:15look phenomenal. They're they're insane.
- 1:49:17Sebum looks good because he can do an
- 1:49:19incredible vacuum pose and he has the
- 1:49:21widest shoulders in the world. And on a
- 1:49:23side chest, he looks unbelievable. Like
- 1:49:26right up there with the IFBB Pro like in
- 1:49:27the open class.
- 1:49:29>> Um it just certain things look good.
- 1:49:31Sebum's bicep doesn't really look good.
- 1:49:33It's just the certain genetics and this
- 1:49:35Anton guy, everything looks insane. It
- 1:49:37doesn't make sense. So Sam Sulik has a
- 1:49:40lot of good body parts, but as a whole,
- 1:49:43aesthetically, he's not close to the top
- 1:49:45of the top.
- 1:49:46>> How much money do you make if you win a
- 1:49:48bodybuilding competition?
- 1:49:49>> Depending on the show, between
- 1:49:51[sighs and gasps]
- 1:49:52[snorts] $2,500 and I think it's a half
- 1:49:55a million for the Olympia. Maybe it's
- 1:49:57600,000 now.
- 1:49:59The Arnold and the Olympia are like at
- 1:50:01least a half a million. How much money
- 1:50:03does it take leading up to that? Like
- 1:50:05let's just say you win $500,000.
- 1:50:07>> Like how much body how much muscle?
- 1:50:08>> How much have you invested?
- 1:50:09>> How much you spend on drugs to compete
- 1:50:10in a show?
- 1:50:11>> Everything. Yeah.
- 1:50:12>> The top guys, not classic, but like open
- 1:50:14bodybuilding and it's mostly on growth
- 1:50:15hormone would be upwards of $100,000 a
- 1:50:17year
- 1:50:18>> to prep for that. So when they're going
- 1:50:20broke on it,
- 1:50:22>> most bodybuilders are selling steroids
- 1:50:24to to pay for the drugs that they're
- 1:50:25doing themselves in order to compete. So
- 1:50:28most pros for a living sell steroids.
- 1:50:31It's just it's it's insane.
- 1:50:32>> How do they legally sell steroids?
- 1:50:34>> Well, you don't you don't tell anyone.
- 1:50:36>> So, they're making money under the
- 1:50:37table.
- 1:50:38>> Yeah. Because you need to spend about
- 1:50:40you need about $100,000 a year to
- 1:50:42compete at the top of the top levels.
- 1:50:44And you have the physique to back it up.
- 1:50:46And so, if I'm trying to buy steroids
- 1:50:48and I see that guy and he's one of the
- 1:50:50best bodybuilders in the world, I'm
- 1:50:52thinking, well, I'll just buy it from
- 1:50:53him. The stuff he has clearly works. So,
- 1:50:55that's extremely common. So, unless
- 1:50:57you're like Sam Sulick doesn't need to
- 1:50:59sell anything. he's already a
- 1:51:00multi-millionaire from being famous. But
- 1:51:01if you don't have fame and you're a
- 1:51:03lower level person, most pro
- 1:51:05bodybuilders are probably going to be
- 1:51:06trainers who coach people. And when you
- 1:51:09coach people, typically you sell them
- 1:51:11the products that they need. And so
- 1:51:12that's how you're making your money.
- 1:51:14>> So for an average person who wants to
- 1:51:15compete and win, could they do that
- 1:51:18without being already financially
- 1:51:20independent or
- 1:51:21>> I used to win shows natural against
- 1:51:23people on steroids as a natural, but I
- 1:51:25had really great genetics, so I could do
- 1:51:26it without spending a lot. But I would
- 1:51:27say most people need to have money
- 1:51:29absolutely to bodybuilding. It's a very
- 1:51:31expensive sport.
- 1:51:31>> Is it possible to win and still hold a
- 1:51:34job from like 9 to5?
- 1:51:35>> I was a school teacher until until I
- 1:51:38turned pro. The year I turned IFBB pro.
- 1:51:41I was a school teacher that year. So
- 1:51:43absolutely 9 toive job. No problem.
- 1:51:45>> So I've also brought one other person.
- 1:51:47This is my most ripped friend
- 1:51:50>> out of everybody and he's come over
- 1:51:52here. Brett, get over here.
- 1:51:54>> Brett's also 6'6. Oh, good to meet you.
- 1:51:58>> What's the height?
- 1:51:59>> I'm 6'3.
- 1:52:00>> 6'3. Okay.
- 1:52:01>> Yeah. Go ahead. Take take off your shirt
- 1:52:03like Yeah. Show off Show off the
- 1:52:04physique. Come over here like in the in
- 1:52:07the camera.
- 1:52:08>> Right. Yeah. Yeah. Like right here.
- 1:52:10Right in between.
- 1:52:12>> All right.
- 1:52:13>> He's He's too tall. I'm just getting
- 1:52:16crotch. You might have to
- 1:52:18>> Oh, do I got to get lower?
- 1:52:21[laughter]
- 1:52:22>> Go ahead.
- 1:52:23I mean, on a scale of 1 to 10, his
- 1:52:25physique would be for most people like a
- 1:52:27nine. 9.9.
- 1:52:29>> He's not as lean as the last guy, but
- 1:52:30honestly, he doesn't as Kevin, but way
- 1:52:34more muscle, taller, more attractive
- 1:52:36overall. So, I would say like [laughter]
- 1:52:39>> attractive. This would be a physique
- 1:52:41that all the girls would like. All the
- 1:52:43girls would like this physique for sure.
- 1:52:44And does he need to do anything? No. If
- 1:52:46you want to be a bodybuilder, it's going
- 1:52:47to be very hard because the shoulders
- 1:52:49aren't really really wide and the waist
- 1:52:51isn't really really small. So Kevin, if
- 1:52:53Kevin took steroids and you took
- 1:52:55steroids, I think Kevin would have an
- 1:52:56overall better physique.
- 1:52:57>> Damn, Kevin. What do you
- 1:52:58>> But you don't need to take steroids or
- 1:53:00unless you're already on them. Um, then
- 1:53:02you know.
- 1:53:02>> Do you think he's natty?
- 1:53:04>> No.
- 1:53:05>> You don't think I'm natty?
- 1:53:06>> No.
- 1:53:07>> I'm natty.
- 1:53:09>> I don't know if that's true. I I'm
- 1:53:10hearing it, but that's what of I would
- 1:53:12say that.
- 1:53:12>> So I took like a pro hormone like 10
- 1:53:14years ago. That's all it does.
- 1:53:15>> Ah, that's that's nothing. Yeah, that's
- 1:53:17what I Wait, hold on. Tell me this
- 1:53:19promot you took is what I want to take
- 1:53:21now.
- 1:53:21>> Yeah. No, as a natural, it's a it's a
- 1:53:24Yeah, it's top top tier physique for
- 1:53:25sure.
- 1:53:26>> I thought you were going to say uh
- 1:53:27Natty, so that's surprising.
- 1:53:29>> Yeah. What makes this look unnatural?
- 1:53:31>> The amount of muscle he has being 6'3.
- 1:53:33How much you weigh? Like 225.
- 1:53:35>> I'm like 205 right now.
- 1:53:37>> That's it. Wow. Incredible.
- 1:53:38>> Everybody said yes.
- 1:53:39>> Do Do you have much leg development?
- 1:53:41Probably not.
- 1:53:42>> I got small legs.
- 1:53:43>> A lot of these guys can see what I mean.
- 1:53:44Why guys don't need to train legs? They
- 1:53:46come in here with jogging pants. They
- 1:53:48have incredible upper bodies. So, he's
- 1:53:49got the full chest, big arms, um, and
- 1:53:51he's leaning up his abs, but maybe not
- 1:53:53as much quads. Like, I weigh 190 and I'm
- 1:53:56like 8 in 9 in shorter.
- 1:53:58>> So, what do you think he could improve
- 1:54:00upon the most?
- 1:54:00>> The legs.
- 1:54:01>> Yeah.
- 1:54:02>> But if you were trying to impress more
- 1:54:03girls, I mean, probably just wider
- 1:54:06shoulders like here, cuz the the
- 1:54:08clavicle width is like set in stone and
- 1:54:11you can't just widen it. But if you had
- 1:54:13wider shoulders, the muscles would just
- 1:54:15sit wider. So your wa waist would look
- 1:54:18smaller because he would have that
- 1:54:19illusion. Like Chris Bumstead,
- 1:54:21>> his shoulders are like this wide.
- 1:54:23>> Or even like like uh um was it Mr.
- 1:54:25Olympia from the last year? Derek uh
- 1:54:28Lunford,
- 1:54:28>> his shoulders are like this wide and his
- 1:54:31waist is this small. That's what makes
- 1:54:32them so good. That's this is why they
- 1:54:34stand out. Or Andrew Jack, like all
- 1:54:36these guys like,
- 1:54:38>> yeah, bodybuilding, it's all about the
- 1:54:40frame.
- 1:54:40>> It's laterals after this. Yeah.
- 1:54:43>> Best shoulder exercise. What do you
- 1:54:44mean?
- 1:54:45>> For overall development, I would do a
- 1:54:47shoulder press with a machine.
- 1:54:48>> Shoulder press.
- 1:54:49>> Yeah. I mean, side laterals is great,
- 1:54:51but like this is going to build more
- 1:54:52overall muscle. So, if I had to pick
- 1:54:53one, I would do this one over the other.
- 1:54:55But other than that, side laterals. So,
- 1:54:58like in the last year, there's not many
- 1:55:00exercises I've done other than this and
- 1:55:02this. That's basically it. Don't do
- 1:55:04anything else.
- 1:55:05>> Are you me any any longer?
- 1:55:06>> No, you're free to go. You're also free
- 1:55:08to hang out, but
- 1:55:09>> Yeah, you can hang out.
- 1:55:10>> Yeah.
- 1:55:11[clears throat] All right.
- 1:55:13>> All right. Well, thanks. Well, thanks
- 1:55:15for making a camera. Yeah, good to meet
- 1:55:16you.
- 1:55:16>> Thank you.
- 1:55:18>> I thought he was taller than that.
- 1:55:20>> No, he he just looks really tall cuz
- 1:55:22we're not we're not
- 1:55:23>> Yeah, we're all sitting also.
- 1:55:26We're just sitting.
- 1:55:26>> How tall is Kevin?
- 1:55:28>> Kevin's like 57,
- 1:55:30I think. Yeah, 56. 57. That's why he
- 1:55:34that tall.
- 1:55:34>> Yeah.
- 1:55:35>> Yeah. at 6'3 with that much muscle and
- 1:55:37and 205 I would say his legs are small
- 1:55:40probably in relation to how the upper
- 1:55:42body is built cuz like 63 20 I mean
- 1:55:45you'd expect a guy to weigh a lot more
- 1:55:48like what do you weigh?
- 1:55:50175.
- 1:55:50>> And you're how tall? Six foot.
- 1:55:51>> Six foot.
- 1:55:52>> Yeah.
- 1:55:53>> And people think that if you're under
- 1:55:55200 lb, you're basically like um what's
- 1:55:58the
- 1:55:58>> victim weight.
- 1:55:59>> Victim weight. Exactly.
- 1:56:00>> Victim weight.
- 1:56:01>> Yeah. Oh, it's like everyone makes fun
- 1:56:03of anyone that's under 200 lb. Or like
- 1:56:05Yeah. You have abs, but you you don't
- 1:56:07even weigh 200 lb. You're literally
- 1:56:09victim weight. Like you're useless.
- 1:56:10You're under 200 lb. It's a big thing.
- 1:56:12All the guys think they need to weigh
- 1:56:13200. Even like my friends, they'll be
- 1:56:15like, "I can't get under 200." I'm like,
- 1:56:17"Yeah, but you're fat. Like, of course
- 1:56:18you can get you should weigh 170. Oh my
- 1:56:20god, I could never be that small. And
- 1:56:21I'm like, but you would look great at
- 1:56:23170.
- 1:56:23>> What do you think someone that's 6 feet
- 1:56:25tall should weigh?
- 1:56:26>> I mean, there's no should
- 1:56:28>> like like
- 1:56:28>> like a really good weight at at 6 foot
- 1:56:30to be healthy and lean, 180 lb would be
- 1:56:33like awesome. 200 lb like you're you're
- 1:56:35huge.
- 1:56:36>> Like 6' 200 you're a monster. Like if
- 1:56:39you have muscle and you're lean, it's
- 1:56:41massive.
- 1:56:42>> There's a guy down home. He was his name
- 1:56:44is Julian. He turned IBB Pro. He was in
- 1:56:45the Olympia. I got 13th. I was coaching
- 1:56:47him for a while and he was 190 something
- 1:56:49and 6 foot. It was monster. Like just
- 1:56:52massive. I'm like that's 190 something
- 1:56:54pounds. He turned pro 175.
- 1:56:56>> So this is all you need.
- 1:56:58>> So if you're 6 foot and 200 lb, you're
- 1:56:59probably fat
- 1:57:01>> for most guys. Yeah. Most guys who are
- 1:57:036' and 200 overweight. Definitely.
- 1:57:05>> How's the business been doing over the
- 1:57:06past year? You were transparent with
- 1:57:08your numbers back then. I'm curious.
- 1:57:09What do your numbers look like now?
- 1:57:10Well, we just got into GNC and so I'm
- 1:57:13not sure if I'm allowed to talk about
- 1:57:15the how much their orders were, but it's
- 1:57:17like it's great. It's certainly a big
- 1:57:20step up in the business. Um, I think
- 1:57:22that because we're in GNC now, the the
- 1:57:24company has a great chance of growing
- 1:57:26into other companies like uh being
- 1:57:28worldwide and so it's a it's a huge
- 1:57:31step.
- 1:57:31>> So, how is your income broken down
- 1:57:33today?
- 1:57:34>> See, these are questions I have no idea
- 1:57:35how to like I don't know the answer to
- 1:57:37this stuff. I just
- 1:57:37>> You know how much money you're making?
- 1:57:39>> No.
- 1:57:42percentage spent here and there like
- 1:57:44percentage on advertisements percent on
- 1:57:46rough
- 1:57:46>> just roughly of just like hey we make uh
- 1:57:48you know 20% of our revenue from YouTube
- 1:57:5130% from
- 1:57:53>> my revenue on YouTube is down from like
- 1:57:55more than a million a year to maybe like
- 1:57:57800,000 in a year because I don't have
- 1:57:59as many views as I once did even though
- 1:58:01right now YouTube has changed the the
- 1:58:03way they count views. So, my videos are
- 1:58:05all getting way more views, but I think
- 1:58:06it's like inflated artificially by
- 1:58:09perhaps 40%. Um, I still making pretty
- 1:58:11good money on Snapchat. It's like 20,000
- 1:58:14plus a month on on average. Um, I hardly
- 1:58:18make any sales on cookbooks now. I think
- 1:58:20that's ship a sale. I'm only selling
- 1:58:22like maybe a couple hundred thousand in
- 1:58:23cookbooks a year. Um, the biggest
- 1:58:27difference from then is I'm I'm a I
- 1:58:29don't even know if I'm allowed to say
- 1:58:30the percent. I'm a part owner of Al
- 1:58:32Goreex which is selling maybe $20
- 1:58:34million a year and so that's a huge
- 1:58:38difference and I advertise Alorex in
- 1:58:41every single video. Um the [snorts]
- 1:58:44sales have gone up I think maybe sixfold
- 1:58:46since I started in the last year. So
- 1:58:48like every single video I tell people
- 1:58:50about the value of peptides where you
- 1:58:52can get them the fact that it's you know
- 1:58:53from compoundingarmacies from doctors.
- 1:58:55>> Are you making more than you've ever
- 1:58:56made?
- 1:58:57>> More profit than I've ever made. I was
- 1:59:00like, if I counted Al Goreex, yes, but
- 1:59:02without counting Algorex, no.
- 1:59:04>> How much have you made from your
- 1:59:05cookbook in its entirety?
- 1:59:07>> Maybe 12 million.
- 1:59:08>> Holy crap. That's really good. Are you
- 1:59:11considering writing another one?
- 1:59:13>> No, because there's I honestly the
- 1:59:15amount of money I would have to spend on
- 1:59:16another one wouldn't be worth it for me.
- 1:59:18And I'm not as passionate about it. I've
- 1:59:20lost the excitement of like just
- 1:59:21creating new recipes and doing it. And I
- 1:59:23wouldn't want to do it just for money
- 1:59:24cuz I don't need more money. So if I'm
- 1:59:25not passionate about something, it's not
- 1:59:27fun. So with Algarx, it was like a new
- 1:59:29challenge, something to take to take on
- 1:59:31and promote and have fun with it and
- 1:59:33seeing the growth and and being part of
- 1:59:35a company. There's three of us are
- 1:59:36owners of this company and so I think
- 1:59:38that's a a great new thing and I want to
- 1:59:40see that get into the 100 million plus
- 1:59:42range and so that's the the next big
- 1:59:44thing. The supplements is now in GNC. Uh
- 1:59:48that's huge for me. So I tell people go
- 1:59:49to GNC, don't even buy it from my
- 1:59:51website. I don't even need this because
- 1:59:53there's only so many years that
- 1:59:54everyone's going to come and watch Coach
- 1:59:55Greg. Like I need HLT to not just be
- 1:59:58Coach Greg, but yet a bigger like beyond
- 2:00:00me. Like imagine me not making videos
- 2:00:02and it's still being a huge uh company
- 2:00:06which is science-based that's throughout
- 2:00:08the world. Like we have so many products
- 2:00:11that nobody else has like the
- 2:00:12testerestone from from Isbekistan. Now
- 2:00:14we have Ferula Max to boost
- 2:00:15testosterone. Like we have so many
- 2:00:17things that no one else has. The
- 2:00:18innovation in HLT is beyond what anyone
- 2:00:20else is doing.
- 2:00:21>> At what point do you think you stopped
- 2:00:23needing more money? because you said I
- 2:00:24don't need any more money now.
- 2:00:26>> Probably the day I sold a,04 books in a
- 2:00:29day at $100 each that day when I made
- 2:00:32$104,000 in one day. I didn't really
- 2:00:35need any like I could have retired that
- 2:00:37day cuz the money every day after that
- 2:00:39was like 25,000 like per day for a year
- 2:00:43straight. It was ridiculous. So that was
- 2:00:45the year I made the most money on
- 2:00:46cookbooks. I made more money in a year
- 2:00:48from cookbooks than from supplements.
- 2:00:50Although, you know, some days where I've
- 2:00:52sell Turk would be like astronomical,
- 2:00:54like well well well over 100,000 in a
- 2:00:56day, but I don't need any more money. I
- 2:00:58could retire now for sure, but I just
- 2:01:00enjoy it. So, it it's not about money.
- 2:01:03It's about the fun I have in being good
- 2:01:05at something.
- 2:01:06>> What do you think is the right amount of
- 2:01:08money to have where it's not too much
- 2:01:09you become a target, but it's enough to
- 2:01:12kind of you could do almost anything.
- 2:01:14>> I think after a half a million dollars a
- 2:01:15year, all the money is just like
- 2:01:17useless. It's like it's just to brag
- 2:01:20about at that point. Like instead of
- 2:01:23like if you want to get a Bugatti, is it
- 2:01:25better than having a Lamborghini? Like
- 2:01:27it's a nicer car, but it just it's like
- 2:01:28this the same. It's like it's not
- 2:01:30increasing your style of living. Like I
- 2:01:33don't need to be on a private jet. I
- 2:01:34don't need to do this or do that. Like
- 2:01:36it just doesn't excite me. It's not even
- 2:01:38it's not even fun for me. So I don't
- 2:01:41need more money, but it's fun. The
- 2:01:42challenge of trying to make more. It's
- 2:01:44just like bike racing. I don't need to
- 2:01:46be faster to have fun, but the challenge
- 2:01:48of trying to get faster is the fun part
- 2:01:49of it.
- 2:01:50>> Lastly, what we have for you is an
- 2:01:52influencer tier list where you're going
- 2:01:54to assign people from S all the way down
- 2:01:57to F tier. And this is on their general
- 2:01:59influence as a fitness influencer,
- 2:02:02>> like positive or negative, like
- 2:02:03>> Yeah. Okay.
- 2:02:04>> Um, rank all of these people in terms of
- 2:02:06their impact on the fitness community
- 2:02:09and also their physique. Okay. The Trend
- 2:02:12Twins, I'm going to say they are uh
- 2:02:14Ctier for influence, mostly because of
- 2:02:17the name Tren and the fact they're on
- 2:02:19steroids. And I do believe that if you
- 2:02:21follow the Trend Twins, you're more
- 2:02:22likely to want to use steroids and not
- 2:02:25as likely to be pushed for fitness and
- 2:02:27health.
- 2:02:27>> Their physiques are A tier. I mean,
- 2:02:29they're both jacked. They're incredible
- 2:02:32shape. So, I'm going to put them in C
- 2:02:34tier overall. This guy,
- 2:02:38>> money guy, he's not a fitness
- 2:02:39influencer. Okay. Well, okay. He's
- 2:02:41clearly F tier for both physique and
- 2:02:44influence. F tier. I did watch Togei on
- 2:02:47this channel. It was interesting. Toi
- 2:02:49for a fitness influencer is going to be
- 2:02:52[sighs] uh F tier. So, not good at all
- 2:02:56for promoting fitness. I mean, he's
- 2:02:58openly on steroids. He
- 2:03:01doesn't really train all that hard.
- 2:03:03Sometimes he locks in. It's not that
- 2:03:04great. So, for fitness, not very good.
- 2:03:06But for physique, I'm going to say he's
- 2:03:08actually S uh one below S tier, A tier.
- 2:03:12>> Crazy physique, really good shape, lean,
- 2:03:14wide shoulders, tall, so kind of like
- 2:03:16your friend here.
- 2:03:17>> Uh really high level physique.
- 2:03:20>> Uh liver king F for influence for
- 2:03:25obvious reasons. His physique would be a
- 2:03:28tier. It's pretty high level. Like bro
- 2:03:30is shredded. He looks pretty damn good,
- 2:03:32especially for his age. Um,
- 2:03:35what do we got here? What's his name?
- 2:03:37Um,
- 2:03:37>> is that Larry Wheels?
- 2:03:39>> Yes. I'm just bad with names. Like, I
- 2:03:41know exactly who he is. Um, I'm going to
- 2:03:43say he's a deer tier influencer. Not
- 2:03:46because of the uh stuff he does with the
- 2:03:49with girls in that drama, but because
- 2:03:51he's on steroids, um, I don't think that
- 2:03:54he's a positive influence for most
- 2:03:56people. Like, he's more of a of a
- 2:03:58shocking freak factor. like he's bo
- 2:04:00boxing or he's doing all these different
- 2:04:02sports, but I don't think you watch
- 2:04:04Larry to learn how to do like how to be
- 2:04:06fit and healthy and do cardio and
- 2:04:08whatnot. Um, but his physique is S tier.
- 2:04:11Um, he's an IFBB pro. I mean, we don't
- 2:04:13get much higher than that.
- 2:04:15>> Um, then we have Noel Dael, I think, for
- 2:04:21beginners. How [sighs] do I slide this
- 2:04:23up? Oops. For beginners, he's S tier.
- 2:04:27For more advanced people who are more
- 2:04:29familiar with things, it would be below
- 2:04:30that. But for a beginner, he has an S
- 2:04:32tier physique. Uh, sorry, he has an S
- 2:04:34tier channel in terms of promoting
- 2:04:36fitness and health is definitely what
- 2:04:38you want out of a person. His
- 2:04:39information is not at the level of like
- 2:04:42highly scientific, but definitely a
- 2:04:44great influence.
- 2:04:46>> And I would say he has an S tier
- 2:04:47physique. He's an IPB pro. Like he's as
- 2:04:49high as up as you could go. Um, oh, I'm
- 2:04:52going to have to lower him down because
- 2:04:54he's not natty. I can't have him here
- 2:04:56because some people are going to want
- 2:04:58that physique and because he has a lot
- 2:05:00of muscle, he's going to be an
- 2:05:02influential person to have people take
- 2:05:04steroids. So, similar to me,
- 2:05:06um, Will Tennyson,
- 2:05:09I'm going to put him is a fitness
- 2:05:11influencer in a tier. Where do we go
- 2:05:14here? A tier for uh um, what do you want
- 2:05:18to call it? A tier for physique. a tier
- 2:05:21for being a fitness influencer. And the
- 2:05:23only reason he's not S tier is because
- 2:05:25he's not really a purely a fitness
- 2:05:26influencer. He's more like a a guy that
- 2:05:28does a bunch of different things. So, I
- 2:05:30think his channel is more revolving
- 2:05:32around him trying things out. It's not
- 2:05:34necessarily like just about fitness. And
- 2:05:37so, one step below S tier for physique,
- 2:05:39one step below S tier for information.
- 2:05:43Derek, I'm going to say,
- 2:05:47how do I give Derek a rating? Derek
- 2:05:49doesn't do videos. Um, I'm going to give
- 2:05:51him a C tier because he used to be
- 2:05:53great, but he doesn't do anything
- 2:05:55anymore. And I'm going to say his
- 2:05:56physique probably B tier. Pretty good
- 2:05:59physique. He was on steroids. He doesn't
- 2:06:02he doesn't do fitness anymore.
- 2:06:04Essentially, I would say he's retired.
- 2:06:06David Gogggins for fitness and whatnot.
- 2:06:09I would say he's a tier cuz he's
- 2:06:11exceptionally motivating and inspiring.
- 2:06:14And if you even have 10% of what he has,
- 2:06:17you're going to do really good. And at
- 2:06:19physique, I would also give it a tier.
- 2:06:21Guy is like singledigit body fat. He's
- 2:06:23super fit. And so, you got to love David
- 2:06:25Gogggins. The Rock for a fitness
- 2:06:28influencer.
- 2:06:31For physique, I would say he's a tier. I
- 2:06:33mean, he's got a lot of muscle. He looks
- 2:06:35great. Um, for motivation and inspiring,
- 2:06:38I think he's really good. But the fact
- 2:06:40that he's lying about being natural and
- 2:06:43uh that he's used steroids for years,
- 2:06:45I'm going to put him at Ctier cuz he's
- 2:06:47going to encourage a lot of people to do
- 2:06:48steroids. Sam Sulik, I normally would
- 2:06:52penalize him more for being a guy that's
- 2:06:53on steroids, but he doesn't encourage
- 2:06:55steroids and he has a really really good
- 2:06:58channel and so I'm going to put him up
- 2:07:00at A tier, one step below from being S
- 2:07:03tier. If he was natural and did the same
- 2:07:04thing, he would be S tier. And his
- 2:07:06physique is S tier. It's like he's an
- 2:07:08IBB pro. I mean, the physique is is
- 2:07:11crazy. Myself, I'm going to rate my
- 2:07:13physique as being a tier. And I'm
- 2:07:16thinking that I'm an A tier influencer.
- 2:07:17And for the same reasons as like Noel,
- 2:07:19because I'm not natural, I can't put
- 2:07:21myself in the top level because some
- 2:07:23people are going to see my physique know
- 2:07:24that I'm I used steroids in the past.
- 2:07:26I'm on HRT and are going to be tempted
- 2:07:27to do that. Sebum for uh fitness
- 2:07:31information and for uh learning how to
- 2:07:34do bodybuilding and whatnot. I'm going
- 2:07:36to put him as a B tier. I don't think
- 2:07:38there's as much excitement. I think that
- 2:07:40at this point he's just like running
- 2:07:43around and
- 2:07:44he's just not doing fitness the way he
- 2:07:48used to. Um he still has a decent
- 2:07:50channel, but I I don't find it terribly
- 2:07:52exciting. It's not as engaging. I don't
- 2:07:54think that a lot of young people would
- 2:07:56go and watch Sebum right now. And now
- 2:07:58that he's retired, I think that he's
- 2:08:00going to get less views on his channel.
- 2:08:01But the mental aspect is really high
- 2:08:03level. I I like that the most about
- 2:08:05Chris. Like, so when I watch videos from
- 2:08:07Chris, I like the mental aspect of
- 2:08:09things, but I I don't think most people
- 2:08:10are at a level where they're advanced
- 2:08:12enough in their training to see it the
- 2:08:13way that Chris does. I think you Chris,
- 2:08:16his information for me is for like guys
- 2:08:17who are like older, like 30 plus, but
- 2:08:20most of his fans are probably younger.
- 2:08:22Um, and his physique is S tier plus.
- 2:08:24It's like off the charts. Jeff Nippard
- 2:08:27for information and for physique. I also
- 2:08:31think he's a tier. Even though I've had
- 2:08:34beef with him in the past, I think a lot
- 2:08:35of his information is scientific, but I
- 2:08:37think that he holds on to um studies a
- 2:08:40bit too much and he omits how he really
- 2:08:43feels about something just to show the
- 2:08:45science. And so I don't think he's 100%
- 2:08:47honest in some of the things that he
- 2:08:48presents. But overall, A tier for most
- 2:08:50people. amazing editing on videos, great
- 2:08:53quality videos, and definitely, you
- 2:08:56know, close to the top.
- 2:08:58>> Mike Isertell for physique, I would say
- 2:09:01he's got a Dtier physique. Um,
- 2:09:05>> it's because of the stomach. Like,
- 2:09:07unfortunately, it it's like I don't
- 2:09:09think that anyone aspires to have his
- 2:09:11physique, but it's not it's not F. He's
- 2:09:13not fat. He's still he's still got
- 2:09:15something. But I think for abusing
- 2:09:16steroids, it's not very good. And I
- 2:09:18think for overall as a channel, I would
- 2:09:21give him a B tier because although he
- 2:09:23promotes a lot of steroids and things
- 2:09:25like that, he does have a lot of good
- 2:09:26information and I think he's very smart
- 2:09:28and has a lot of good information,
- 2:09:29quality information that a lot of people
- 2:09:30can learn from despite all the I'll call
- 2:09:34them gay jokes and crazy jokes. I still
- 2:09:36think that he has a good channel that if
- 2:09:38he wanted to, it could be S tier, but he
- 2:09:41just lowers it for some reason. Uh Jesse
- 2:09:45James West has an A tier physique. Very
- 2:09:49good. Almost S tier. And for a fitness
- 2:09:52channel, I'd say it's B. Um it's not all
- 2:09:55about fitness. Sometimes it's about
- 2:09:57fitness. Um I think there's it's catered
- 2:10:00more to a younger audience, like let's
- 2:10:03go, but not a lot of like actual
- 2:10:04take-home information that you could
- 2:10:06learn from.
- 2:10:07>> Uh lean is this lean beef patty?
- 2:10:09>> Lean beef patty. I would say she has uh
- 2:10:13an S tier physique, like top level
- 2:10:15physique and an A tier channel. I think
- 2:10:18for women more so than men, they could
- 2:10:20learn a lot from her. She battled um
- 2:10:23eating disorders and stuff in the past
- 2:10:24and still to this day, I do believe and
- 2:10:26she shares a lot about it. She's very
- 2:10:28open about these things and I think that
- 2:10:30she's vulnerable in her videos and so I
- 2:10:33think she has a great channel that
- 2:10:34people can watch.
- 2:10:36Uh this is Oh jeez, how do I not know
- 2:10:39his name?
- 2:10:41do better. What's his name? You need to
- 2:10:44do better. Joey Swole. Joey Swole is
- 2:10:47great, but he's onedimensional. He's
- 2:10:50only got one thing. And so, I'm going to
- 2:10:52put him in C tier because once you've
- 2:10:53seen one Joey SW video, you've seen all
- 2:10:56of them. So, he could do way better, but
- 2:11:00I mean, if I were Joey, I'd be doing the
- 2:11:02same thing. Like, I don't blame him.
- 2:11:04He's viral for calling out people in the
- 2:11:06gym and but it's one thing that you can
- 2:11:08learn from and he's absolutely not
- 2:11:11natural. And so if you watch Joey, I
- 2:11:12think you'd be tempted to use steroids.
- 2:11:14That isn't good. His physique, I think,
- 2:11:16is S tier. Like it's ridiculous that
- 2:11:19every day he's singledigit body fat, so
- 2:11:21much muscle. He looks so good. But I
- 2:11:23think that it's uh it's a scary thing
- 2:11:25that if you watch Joey SW all the time
- 2:11:27that you might want to look like him,
- 2:11:28although his message is amazing, like
- 2:11:30for what he says to to not make fun of
- 2:11:32people in the gym and and whatnot.
- 2:11:34>> Now we have Michael Hearn who has an S
- 2:11:36tier physique for sure. Ridiculous
- 2:11:38physique. He's 57. I met him for the
- 2:11:41first time today in my lifetime. We
- 2:11:42chatted for 30 minutes. I was talking to
- 2:11:44his kid. We were talking. his channel.
- 2:11:47If you can get over the fact that he's a
- 2:11:49fake natty, cuz we know he's not natural
- 2:11:51and he's lied about that for years. He
- 2:11:53does have a lot of good information, but
- 2:11:54he also has a lot of bad information.
- 2:11:57It's like he's on the fence. I'm going
- 2:11:59to give him a C tier because for older
- 2:12:02people, I think he's great. I think his
- 2:12:04information is from like the 70s and 80s
- 2:12:06mostly. I don't think he's learned a lot
- 2:12:07of the newest information, but he's very
- 2:12:09inspirational and motivational. And just
- 2:12:11the fact that he's been able to train as
- 2:12:12hard as he can for as consistent as
- 2:12:15desend. He's kind of like a David
- 2:12:16Gogggins. But some of the information
- 2:12:18it's like counterintuitive. It's like
- 2:12:20against what it should be. And so I can
- 2:12:21only put him as high as a C. I wish I
- 2:12:23could put him higher. But if he came out
- 2:12:25and said I'm a fake natty, I would have
- 2:12:27to then put him up to A, but we got to
- 2:12:29keep him there.
- 2:12:30>> Um, Alex Eubank has an S tier physique.
- 2:12:34It's a top level physique. I can't put
- 2:12:36him at the highest levels because he is
- 2:12:38on HRT and he is on steroids a bit too
- 2:12:43high. Um I think he talks a lot about
- 2:12:45the mind the and mental aspects. I'm
- 2:12:48going to put him in the B uh status. I
- 2:12:50think that he has a lot of good
- 2:12:51information. He tries really hard. He's
- 2:12:54a Christian guy. He wants to help. He
- 2:12:56wants to do good. He didn't take a
- 2:12:58gambling sponsorship. He could be making
- 2:13:00half a million dollars extra million
- 2:13:02dollars a year if he promoted gambling,
- 2:13:04which he didn't do. You got to give him
- 2:13:05respect for that. And he is at least
- 2:13:07honest about taking HRT and whatnot. Um,
- 2:13:10so I'll give him a B tier. I I think
- 2:13:12that he's close to an A tier for
- 2:13:14information, but I'm just going to give
- 2:13:16him a B based on what I see here.
- 2:13:18>> And so why no S tier? And if someone had
- 2:13:21to be S tier, who would it be?
- 2:13:22>> I think that if Noel Dael were natural,
- 2:13:25S tier. Sam Sulic natural S tier. Myself
- 2:13:28natural S tier.
- 2:13:29>> Outside of that, do we have an S tier
- 2:13:32fitness creator? S tier fitness
- 2:13:34influencer.
- 2:13:36I can't think of any. We're missing who
- 2:13:38we missing here. I I I'm not somebody
- 2:13:40that could come up with names off the
- 2:13:41spot. Like if I had to say who would I
- 2:13:43recommend to follow over all these guys.
- 2:13:45I mean I don't think there is one. Maybe
- 2:13:47in a few years from now somebody
- 2:13:49watching this video will come out and be
- 2:13:50that person. Maybe somebody just Tristan
- 2:13:53Lee is not even close.
- 2:13:54>> I don't think Tristan Lee is natural and
- 2:13:56he's 5% body fat all the time. I would
- 2:13:58have him as a Btier.
- 2:13:59>> Tristan Lee is not close to S tier. So
- 2:14:02maybe somebody will come out of nowhere
- 2:14:04and be that S tier influencer. There's
- 2:14:06probably women who are S tier
- 2:14:07influencers who I don't follow as much,
- 2:14:09but are S tier for women. They're
- 2:14:10probably natural, motivational, and they
- 2:14:12do all the things. They promote both
- 2:14:13cardio and weights and a healthy diet. I
- 2:14:16like I I just I don't follow women
- 2:14:18content as much, but I bet there are
- 2:14:20some out there.
- 2:14:21>> Cool. Cool.
- 2:14:22>> Love it.
- 2:14:22>> Well, Greg, thank you so much for coming
- 2:14:24on the iced coffee.
- 2:14:25>> Thanks for having me.
- 2:14:27>> Always a blast. Also love the watch.
- 2:14:28That thing is sick.
- 2:14:29>> That's what I said earlier. I love it. I
- 2:14:31love it.
- 2:14:32>> Those bands are great cuz they actually
- 2:14:33don't pinch the arm hair so much.
- 2:14:35>> I need it. I actually brought one or um
- 2:14:37like my wrist is a little bit big. It's
- 2:14:39a little bit tight. You can see Mark to
- 2:14:44try to to add a link
- 2:14:45>> to add a link. You mean remove a link?
- 2:14:48>> No add. This is the maximum of like the
- 2:14:50links and so I have an extra two links.
- 2:14:53>> I thought it was a little loose on you.
- 2:14:54>> Oh man, it's it's like
- 2:14:56>> it needs it needs you need a link taken
- 2:14:58out. No, I need another link added so
- 2:15:01that it's looser. My my two Rolexes are
- 2:15:04way looser. I can put my hand underneath
- 2:15:06like when I do this. It's probably too
- 2:15:08loose. Then it's fine.
- 2:15:09>> So for you, you like a tight watch.
- 2:15:12>> Yeah. I mean, this is what I do. It just
- 2:15:13it snug. It snugly fits and
- 2:15:15>> Oh, yours is looser than mine. So I
- 2:15:17can't like it'll it like during the day
- 2:15:19it'll like dig into my hand and I
- 2:15:22literally have to loosen it. Oh,
- 2:15:23interesting.
- 2:15:24>> Like I get the marks on the side like in
- 2:15:26the in the cab on the way over. I I
- 2:15:27couldn't wear it. It was too tight.
- 2:15:28>> Wow.
- 2:15:29>> So, I would like it like a not quite a
- 2:15:32half a centimeter, but maybe it there a
- 2:15:34bit a bit looser for me.
- 2:15:36>> Okay. Interesting.
- 2:15:37>> Well, well,
- 2:15:38>> you guys heard it here. Thank you so
- 2:15:39much for coming on the channel.
- 2:15:40>> Yeah. And for all
- 2:15:42>> for star guesting.
- 2:15:43>> Thank you. And for all the channel
- 2:15:44members out there, really appreciate it.
- 2:15:46If you want to see our next episode,
- 2:15:49it's already live for the channel
- 2:15:50members. So, here's a preview of it.
- 2:15:52Really hope you enjoy. Thank you so
- 2:15:54much. All your information is down below
- 2:15:56in the description. hand until next
- 2:15:57time. [screaming]
- 2:16:01>> Emotions felt really strongly could
- 2:16:03instantly transfer into a ton of
- 2:16:05strength.
- 2:16:06>> How would someone cross from not loving
- 2:16:08the gym to actually enjoying the time
- 2:16:10spent in the gym?
- 2:16:11>> As you come to the gym and your body
- 2:16:12changes, you look in the mirror like,
- 2:16:13"Oh my god, I'm like becoming a [music]
- 2:16:14superhero."
- 2:16:15>> Should anyone work out 7 days a week?
- 2:16:17>> Is it the best idea in the world? No, I
- 2:16:19would not say it is. My IQ is above
- 2:16:21[music] 160. We don't know how high cuz
- 2:16:22they don't do standardized IQ tests
- 2:16:24above that.
- 2:16:24>> How do you know that to be true? the
- 2:16:26Ravens Advanced Progressive [music]
- 2:16:27Matrices IQ test, which is a maximum of
- 2:16:29160. I got every single problem correct.
- 2:16:32>> What percent of their max potential
- 2:16:34could they achieve by working out twice
- 2:16:35a week?
- 2:16:38>> Mr. Mike, he knows that what he's doing
- 2:16:40to his body is stupid.
- 2:16:42>> If I fall off tomorrow, Greg will never
- 2:16:44make another video about me again.
- 2:16:46[music]
- 2:16:46>> Can you lift heavier if you're
- 2:16:48screaming?
- 2:16:51[music]
- 2:16:52Oh,
- 2:17:02[music]
