- 0:23This is Sunday, day three of Bournea
- 0:27weekend in Lincoln 2026. Six. I'm going
- 0:31to get a lift off Neil up to some fields
- 0:33in a minute. Going back to get my wind
- 0:36jammer though. Could be a bit windy
- 0:37today. I'm just chatting to my mate here
- 0:40now. What What did you [ __ ] did
- 0:42yesterday?
- 0:44>> What?
- 0:44>> What? What?
- 0:46>> Brock.
- 0:47>> Right. I had fruit cake
- 0:50uh yesterday morning for my breakfast.
- 0:52I've got some in my backpack here. I
- 0:54reckon you look like a fruit cake mate.
- 0:57Well, whatever it
- 0:59>> So, what are we going to do today? We on
- 1:01the Saxon or what?
- 1:02>> I'm on my Saxon.
- 1:04>> Well, if you're on the Saxon, I'm on the
- 1:06Saxon.
- 1:07>> Yeah, but I'm just going to pick you up.
- 1:09>> At least I'll find it first.
- 1:12>> Right. Good luck out there. This is a
- 1:14big long queue of traffic. Oh, you
- 1:16can't. Oh, I was going to show you the
- 1:18back. [laughter]
- 1:19Got it.
- 1:20>> But yeah, you can see up there.
- 1:23>> We're clogging up the lanes.
- 1:26Uh just getting to the first fields
- 1:29because they are about nearly three
- 1:31miles from the camp. But at least we are
- 1:33driving.
- 1:33>> Lots of destinations for the drivers to
- 1:36drive out to different directions on
- 1:38Sunday's rally. Uh we've come down the
- 1:42bottom end. We got this big stubble
- 1:45field. Well, not that big. We got that
- 1:48big plow field over there as well.
- 1:53And I've just got a buckle.
- 1:56>> Right, it's 20 10 and this is our third
- 1:58location on the map.
- 2:10going. Come on, Joe.
- 2:12>> She's done a She's done a fibula up.
- 2:14>> Joe. Joe. Joe, tell us where to go.
- 2:18Where are you going?
- 2:19>> We're going to go down to the newer one
- 2:20down the other side there.
- 2:21>> All right. Well, good luck. We might
- 2:23keep Well done. Well done.
- 2:26>> Yeah, we're all chasing our tails. Uh
- 2:28the fields have been on a bit empty.
- 2:30Well, a bit quiet and full of sight.
- 2:36I'll let you shout it while I chuck it
- 2:38in the hedge.
- 2:41So, it's 10 11. I'm happy with this
- 2:43field now. Uh, some Saxon buckles and I
- 2:46think a Saxon penny has come up already.
- 2:50Uh, Gordon Heritage is on it. He's
- 2:52local, so he he must rate it as a good
- 2:54field. Uh,
- 2:57crack on. I've had a few buttons.
- 2:59Darren's got a nice cartwheel to start
- 3:02off with.
- 3:04Well done, me old fruit cake. Cheers.
- 3:10I've got a banger here.
- 3:19Just got a lace shape. So that might be
- 3:22like medieval art that on the end of a
- 3:24lace.
- 3:26Well, it's tap past 12 and I reckon this
- 3:28is my best find up to now today. Uh an
- 3:31RAF buckle. So many of the fighters and
- 3:35the bombers left Lincoln's air strips in
- 3:38World War II.
- 3:40And some of these actually unscrew and I
- 3:42think they had little compasses or
- 3:44something in them. Escape buttons some
- 3:47of them.
- 3:48That's strange. I've got another lace
- 3:50alet.
- 3:52That's a cool looking one though.
- 3:57I'm just going to re go really really
- 3:59slow on this uh productive field. see if
- 4:03we can get lucky.
- 4:05>> We're just talking to Duncan who lives
- 4:07next to the field and he's shown us his
- 4:10he's got a Russian vintage motorbike
- 4:12there
- 4:13>> and he races he races grass track and
- 4:16he's he's a he's an artist. He makes all
- 4:20kinds of metal sculptures. So, we'll
- 4:22have a look at some of them in a minute.
- 4:25So,
- 4:25>> I've just said take his numbers.
- 4:27>> These are some of the wonderful things
- 4:28that Duncan makes out of metal. Duncan
- 4:32Burton.
- 4:33>> Duncan Burton on Facebook. He can make
- 4:37your stuff if you hit him up.
- 4:41Amazing stuff.
- 4:44Beware of the crocodile.
- 4:49And uh if you want any horseshoes making
- 4:51into a centipede,
- 4:53Duncan your man.
- 5:00Look at this. If you're into your uh
- 5:02automotive stuff,
- 5:07>> everything's just recycled, made out of
- 5:09stuff.
- 5:12>> Wow, that's wonderful.
- 5:14That's wonderful.
- 5:18Old plow there.
- 5:23Duncan Burton on Facebook. If you want
- 5:25anything bespoke, made out of metal, hit
- 5:28him up. His profile picture is him on
- 5:31one of his motorbikes.
- 5:39You
- 5:40>> see the windchime fire extinguisher and
- 5:42the
- 5:42>> Oh, yeah.
- 5:43>> Yeah.
- 5:45>> Flamingo.
- 5:47>> Flamingo. Is that a motorbike tank?
- 5:51Yeah.
- 5:53All this amazing stuff.
- 5:57That's the wind chime made out of fire
- 5:59extinguishers.
- 6:14>> And we're doing a bit of detecting on
- 6:16his garden. Seeing as that's a Saxon
- 6:18field next door.
- 6:20>> A suspender clip for Duncan. Follow me.
- 6:23>> And I'm g my RF button from earlier.
- 6:26>> Oh, did you go to compound
- 6:28>> top? [clears throat]
- 6:31Yeah. Yeah. And uh they found us. Got us
- 6:33rigged up with a [ __ ] chain like
- 6:35that. Put it on. Tell us to come back
- 6:36and have a drink with him. Just about to
- 6:39leave uh Duncan's amazing garden. And
- 6:41look at that vicious vicious cycle. It's
- 6:45wonderful
- 6:46>> instead of vicious circle.
- 6:48>> Oh, look at that. That's beautiful. That
- 6:50is I mean yeah you need to hit up if you
- 6:54want something special for the garden.
- 6:57>> That's wonderful.
- 6:59>> Well thank thanks for having us Duncan.
- 7:01>> Thank you.
- 7:02>> We've shaved a few bits of history. You
- 7:04even got a car. Neil got you a car.
- 7:06>> Yeah.
- 7:08>> Yeah. But on here it's loud as [ __ ]
- 7:11>> Probably paint a bit on yours. Is it
- 7:24s possibly
- 7:30will all be singing this song.
- 7:38>> Are you filming your tw
- 7:39>> I'm filming [laughter]
- 7:41little [ __ ]
- 7:42>> That's us for the uh Sunday. Neil's
- 7:46going home now. It's been lovely to
- 7:48catch up with Neil and I will be back
- 7:50tomorrow for the final day, the Monday.
- 7:52I'll probably put today's video out with
- 7:55tomorrow's actually all in one shot.
- 7:58Lovely to catch up, Neil.
- 8:00>> And you, Steve. Don't forget when you do
- 8:04the Tina Lina, all you needs a ballerina
- 8:07and a bit of dance face on the floor.
- 8:11It's the ladies dancing passion. All you
- 8:14need a bit of passion.
- 8:16It's all we need, viewers. All we need.
- 8:23>> He's struggling. [laughter]
- 8:25>> He's [ __ ] horning thing. I've been
- 8:28helping him and he's already broke one
- 8:30bit. Look, he's snapped it. [ __ ] you.
- 8:36Parachute.
- 8:38Just go have sailing made while
- 8:39paragliding.
- 8:44Let's let's try and do this properly.
- 8:55>> What?
- 9:04>> That's it. Neil, hang on. Stay there.
- 9:07>> Keep it there. That's one.
- 9:10>> It's about three goes. Too bad.
- 9:13>> Your sword's [clears throat] got to be
- 9:14flat.
- 9:14>> Yeah.
- 9:15>> Like that. That's how it is.
- 9:17>> Yeah. But we usually have to twist them,
- 9:18don't you?
- 9:21>> Don't lift it up yet, though. Let's just
- 9:22have a little
- 9:24>> Paul and L are going to sort it with
- 9:26them.
- 9:28>> Join Keep the P down on the bottom of
- 9:30here.
- 9:31>> Yeah. It all falls. No, you keep as long
- 9:33as it's flat like that.
- 9:36>> Right.
- 9:37>> Yeah. Then you get this bit here. Get
- 9:39closer.
- 9:41You hold me to there. Like that.
- 9:43>> Okay.
- 9:43>> Right. Hold your legs.
- 9:47>> Pull back a bit more. [laughter]
- 9:49Pull back a bit more. Right.
- 9:55>> Right. And this.
- 9:56>> Okay.
- 9:56>> Rolls over to the door.
- 9:59>> Well, if that one fall

- 10:06it.
- 10:09like that.
- 10:10>> Oh, he's got it.
- 10:12>> Right. Chuck it up in the air. Chuck it
- 10:14up in the air, Paul.
- 10:16>> Put it there. I'll get back. It's a
- 10:18piece of piss.
- 10:20>> So, it's Monday, day four of the Bulma
- 10:24weekender 2026.
- 10:27We're just queuing up on camp now. We're
- 10:29all queued up here, waiting to go. These
- 10:31aren't just randomly parked. We're all
- 10:34going to go out in a convoy
- 10:37to the new fields that are by a Saxon
- 10:40church.
- 10:40>> Well, the convoy got split up on a busy
- 10:42junction. There's another one.
- 10:45They're going around that way. Ian,
- 10:49you you've took us on a dead end.
- 10:51There's a there's a camper van just
- 10:53turned up there.

- 11:13The sun's just coming out, viewers. Me
- 11:15and Varity are struggling. We're
- 11:16struggling to find anything. But one
- 11:18thing I did find, I found Dave.
- 11:22>> He's another one of these nutters who
- 11:24watches my videos. You got to be nuts to
- 11:26watch me.
- 11:27>> And uh Shaz likes my videos, too.
- 11:30>> Yes, he does. Shaz does. loves him.
- 11:32>> Yeah. But does she detect?
- 11:33>> No.
- 11:34>> Don't even detect.
- 11:35>> No. Does she doesn't know?
- 11:36>> [ __ ] hell. Fair play. You must be
- 11:39doing something right. So, shout out to
- 11:41Shaz.
- 11:43>> She'll love that.
- 11:44>> Was she on the piss last night?
- 11:45>> No. No. She's No, she's babe sitting.
- 11:47Babe sitting. Yeah, she was sailing last
- 11:49night.
- 11:49>> Oh, get get well soon, Shaz. All right.
- 11:52Thanks for putting up with Dave.
- 11:56>> Darren's on the hammered. Only about an
- 11:59hour in. Looks quite big, mate.
- 12:01>> All right.
- 12:07>> W.
- 12:09>> Yeah, it's a hammered though.
- 12:11>> Well done, Darren, mate. Where you
- 12:13staying out this last day. [laughter]
- 12:16>> I've heard that there might might be
- 12:17Roman. Some woman thinks she heard
- 12:19somebody saying Roman down that end.
- 12:22>> Okay,
- 12:25keep going.
- 12:28Me and Barity are still trying to gauge
- 12:30this field. We don't know where any
- 12:31spots are, but Simon's just had this
- 12:34little Roman
- 12:35>> and he got it up on the ridge. So, we're
- 12:37going to go on the ridge. There is an
- 12:39emperor there somewhere. There he is.
- 12:45See him there?
- 12:46>> The emperor I thought was an eagle.
- 12:49>> Well done, Simon. Hopefully, we'll go up
- 12:51on that ridge.
- 12:52>> Yeah, it's I found it up the top of
- 12:54here.
- 12:54>> Yeah. Awesome. I always go on high
- 12:56ground first and then work and anything
- 12:58that's on on the top of high ground
- 12:59sometimes comes down as well. So
- 13:01>> it's true mate.
- 13:02>> I norally give it a go. What goes up the
- 13:04top will always come down. [laughter]
- 13:06>> Like I said on the last clip, I'm asking
- 13:08people and I'm trying to sus the field
- 13:10out, but Le has put me on a right good
- 13:14steer here. He's had the Saxon ski.
- 13:19Oh yeah. and and your mate Tadki and
- 13:21some other sacks and bits and uh he's
- 13:24telling me where where it's coming up.
- 13:27So, I really appreciate that, Lee.
- 13:29>> Well done, mate. Top top find
- 13:33>> Ed's buddy.
- 13:34>> That's it. Yeah, he's my buddy cuz he's
- 13:36robbing all my treasure. [laughter]
- 13:39>> Mike Mike's been doing great. He's got
- 13:41cut off roaming.
- 13:43>> This is nice even if it's got a bit of a
- 13:47>> modern side to it. Saxon crucififor
- 13:50brooch.
- 13:53>> There's a buckle. Nice.
- 13:54>> Yeah, that that buckle you showed me.
- 13:56That's cool. Clean it. That looks Saxon
- 13:58to me. That
- 14:00>> little acorn.
- 14:01>> Lovely pin there as well.
- 14:04What? Are you on YouTube, Ed nowadays?
- 14:07>> UK history found on YouTube. Yeah,
- 14:10>> UK history found.
- 14:11>> Right. UK history found. That's our mate
- 14:15Ed. ease in with uh us at UK history
- 14:18finders now. Get on to UK history found.
- 14:21>> Bump them figures up.
- 14:23>> Bump them up.
- 14:24>> I'm just coming up back to the cars for
- 14:25a minute. I've just asked Don if he's
- 14:27had anything. He said I've had a nice
- 14:29seal. He didn't tell me it was silver.
- 14:31This is uh
- 14:34you just don't find them hardly. I don't
- 14:37think I've found a silver one. No, I
- 14:39haven't. I'd remember.
- 14:43It's probably I mean by the shape of it
- 14:45and that
- 14:47I mean I don't know when these go back
- 14:49to seals but it's got to be medieval
- 14:51that one at least it
- 14:53>> I'd have thought
- 14:54>> that's a pizza done. Well done mate.
- 14:56>> Thank you very much.
- 14:57>> At least you can go home happy now can't
- 14:58you?
- 14:58>> That's right. Yeah I wasn't going to
- 15:00come out this morning. I was um
- 15:01>> you made the right call.
- 15:03>> Work tomorrow. I got drive. So at least
- 15:05that's all right.
- 15:06>> I can admit he's had a nice Roman today.
- 15:09Nice big Roman uh bit of silver. He's
- 15:12got a broken hammered in there. But
- 15:13you're Did you say you're on Tik Tok,
- 15:15Mitch?
- 15:15>> All right.
- 15:16>> All right. Close your lid. Let's show
- 15:18them your digger Mitch on Tik Tok.
- 15:22>> All right, Mitch. Safe travels up the
- 15:23road, mate. A lot of saxon have been
- 15:26coming off this field today. Lot of
- 15:28skates and uh buckles and pins and
- 15:31stuff, but all I can get is little tiny
- 15:34bits of lead. I'm just out for half an
- 15:37hour in the afternoon now uh on the day
- 15:39of swan for a little bit.
- 15:41Um, Gravity is back at the car. We're
- 15:44waiting to see if he opens the church
- 15:46field. This This is the church field
- 15:49that we're waiting for, viewers.
- 15:52Lovely.
- 15:55>> Best conditioned field.
- 15:58>> Uh,
- 16:02there's literally the Saxon church
- 16:04there.
- 16:05Beautiful short grass.
- 16:08Scott saved this banger of a silver gold
- 16:12gilded uh tuda dress up. But it's a
- 16:14chunk of one, isn't it? It's very
- 16:16substantial.
- 16:18That's a beauty that's got. Where where
- 16:21are you from?
- 16:22>> Faith.
- 16:22>> Ah, so you'll be taking that back up the
- 16:24road away from these sassinax or
- 16:26whatever you call us. [laughter]
- 16:28Fair play, mate. Fair play.
- 16:30>> Danny has got a big smile on his face
- 16:33for a reason. And never mind your mantis
- 16:36machines. Danny's on the good old Noox.
- 16:39Wait till I pan down. And what's in my
- 16:41hand that Danny's found.
- 16:44Wow.
- 16:46First up, he got this amazing Saxon gold
- 16:50bead. Fullon treasure case.
- 16:54And look at that for a chunky little bit
- 16:56of like gold, like ingot, hat gold,
- 16:59whatever you want to call it.
- 17:02Wow. Just wow.
- 17:12Two finds here, mate. Either of them
- 17:14would make your month. Uh, just a day a
- 17:18day of days for you, Danny.
- 17:19>> Yeah, exactly.
- 17:20>> Yeah, absolutely amazing, buddy.
- 17:23>> Cheers. Thank you.
- 17:25>> Okay, enough moaning from me. It's been
- 17:28some stunning finds out today.
- 17:30>> We're on the church field. Where's the
- 17:32church? there. But um
- 17:36>> uh 9 minutes it's opening at half past
- 17:383. So game on. Save my weekend of a
- 17:41stunner or not, but at least I've got
- 17:43the opportunity to possibly do so. Okay,
- 17:46so first signal in this church field.
- 17:49Big banger. Quite an early silver spoon.
- 17:55Lovely.
- 17:58Best bit of silver I've found all
- 17:59weekend.
- 18:01Oh, lovely pasture condition. Victoria
- 18:041882
- 18:06popping on the church field. It's a
- 18:08buckle to be proud of. Ricky's just
- 18:11shown me it. Only been going 5 10
- 18:14minutes in this church field. It's never
- 18:16been detected obviously. [snorts]
- 18:18>> Wonderful.
- 18:19>> Just next to it.
- 18:21>> Two lovely buckles.
- 18:24Well done, Ricky.
- 18:26>> Cheers, mate.
- 18:26>> We'll keep going.
- 18:29I'm pretty sure from the color of that,
- 18:31I think most of you would agree
- 18:34that's a bit of silver, too. It might
- 18:36have been snapped off a silver clog
- 18:38clasp or something. I don't know.
- 18:42I'd say it's a bit of silver.
- 18:45>> A decent signal or is it scratch?
- 18:48>> You know that man just
- 18:52for me it makes me pause. I normally dig
- 18:53it, you know.
- 18:54>> It's [ __ ] It was still repeatable
- 18:56though, was it?
- 18:57>> Beautiful. What was you remember?
- 19:00>> Lovely Bruno. Well done, mate.
- 19:02>> Nice chatting there, too. Well done,
- 19:04bud.
- 19:07>> So, show viewers, it's 5:00 on the
- 19:11Monday. That's four days of detecting.
- 19:14And you were with me today. Have you
- 19:15enjoyed it, love?
- 19:16>> Yeah.
- 19:17>> Did you find anything?
- 19:19>> Lead.
- 19:20>> Well, I found nothing in the last two
- 19:22days. I've found nothing. But one of the
- 19:25best things about coming to the rallies
- 19:28is meeting my lovely friends again. Lynn
- 19:31>> and your your your loopy your loopy over
- 19:34half Paul.
- 19:35>> Yeah.
- 19:35>> And shout out to all the burkenad posi
- 19:38and the mazy side posy that come on
- 19:41them. It's nice to see all the people on
- 19:43it.
- 19:43>> Everyone over the weekend. It was lovely
- 19:45meeting every back up again.
- 19:47>> And shouts out to the West Kirby Club
- 19:49and diggers.
- 19:51>> And we'll leave it there.
- 19:55If we [laughter] if we carry on, we
- 19:56might I don't know. We might say
- 19:57something wrong. So, we'll leave it on a
- 19:59positive [laughter] note.
- 20:01>> That was four days of metal detecting at
- 20:03the Bourma Weekender 2026.
- 20:07Uh, and the first two days on the Friday
- 20:10and Saturday, I had a total of 14 GS and
- 20:13a fibula.
- 20:15And then the next two days, the
- 20:18uh Sunday and Monday, nothing really.
- 20:22had a few bits today off that church
- 20:24field. Silver spoon bowl and another bit
- 20:28of silver, but yeah, not much in the
