- 0:22I woke up at around 6:30 in the morning.
- 0:26The room was darker than usual,
- 0:28so at first, I thought it was still very early.
- 0:33Then I heard raindrops hitting the window.
- 0:36The sound was steady and quite loud.
- 0:40I got out of bed and opened the curtains.
- 0:44The sky was completely grey,
- 0:46and the street below was already wet.
- 0:49Water was running along the side of the road,
- 0:52and a few people were walking quickly under umbrellas.

- 1:10I had planned to go to a small supermarket before work,
- 1:14but I decided to leave that task until the evening.
- 1:19After washing my face and getting dressed,
- 1:22I went to the kitchen to make breakfast.
- 1:25I prepared some toast,
- 1:27a boiled egg, and a cup of hot coffee.
- 1:31While I was eating, the rain became heavier.
- 1:35I could hear water hitting the roof and the windows.
- 1:39Before leaving home, I packed my laptop,
- 1:43charger, and notebook in a waterproof bag.
- 1:47I also took a large umbrella
- 1:49and wore a light rain jacket.
- 1:52I usually wear simple shoes to work,
- 1:55but that morning
- 1:56I chose a pair that would not be damaged
- 1:59easily by water.
- 2:01When I stepped outside,
- 2:03the air felt cool and fresh.

- 2:11near the entrance of my building.
- 2:14I had to walk slowly and carefully.

- 2:25because the rain was blowing in from the side.

- 2:32while a man was trying to keep his newspaper dry.
- 2:36The bus arrived about fifteen minutes late.
- 2:40Traffic was moving slowly
- 2:41because some parts of the road were covered with water.
- 2:45When I got on, most of the seats were already taken,

- 3:21because of the traffic.
- 3:23We left our umbrellas in a stand near the entrance
- 3:27so that water would not drip across the office floor.
- 3:31During the morning, the rain continued.
