  1. 0:00A year and a half ago, I posted a video
  2. 0:02here on my channel about this exact
  3. 0:03same subject. And today I am living
  4. 0:05proof that everything I talked about
  5. 0:07there works. In that video, I was 12 kg
  6. 0:10heavier, I was making much less money
  7. 0:12than I do now, and I was stuck with a
  8. 0:14ceiling in practically every area of my
  9. 0:16life, where I couldn't get past a
  10. 0:18certain specific level. And I'll tell
  11. 0:21you something, when I recorded that
  12. 0:22video, I didn't even know half of what
  13. 0:24I know today. And that's why in this
  14. 0:26video here, which is basically a part
  15. 0:29two, I'm going to show you something
  16. 0:31much deeper and dive much deeper into
  17. 0:33this ocean about self-image. I know
  18. 0:36this video is long, but if you stay
  19. 0:38with me until the end and apply what
  20. 0:39I'm going to teach you, maybe a year
  21. 0:41from now you'll be living proof that
  22. 0:43this really works. And I need to be
  23. 0:45real with you that I am in some groups
  24. 0:47and know extraordinary people whom many
  25. 0:50people on the internet admire. And I
  26. 0:52know that these people behind the
  27. 0:54scenes know about this, study this, and
  28. 0:57apply the kind of thing I'm going to
  29. 0:59talk about in this video. The problem
  30. 1:02is that most people still don't
  31. 1:04understand or only understand this very
  32. 1:06superficially, and it ends up being
  33. 1:07difficult for them to grasp, apply, and
  34. 1:10change their lives with this. There is
  35. 1:13one single thing that decides what your
  36. 1:15results will be. And I know it's hard
  37. 1:18to accept that this has nothing to do
  38. 1:19with your effort, your discipline, or
  39. 1:21your strategy. It is something much
  40. 1:24deeper. And when you understand this,
  41. 1:26you finally stop fighting against
  42. 1:28yourself. Because that is what you are
  43. 1:29doing right now. You are fighting
  44. 1:31against yourself. You wake up in the
  45. 1:34morning, make a list of the things you
  46. 1:36want to do, you start a new month
  47. 1:37setting goals and things you want to
  48. 1:39change. You spend every year always
  49. 1:43thinking about how this year will be
  50. 1:45different, but things always somehow
  51. 1:48return to how they always are. So, even
  52. 1:50though there are some months where you
  53. 1:52manage to make more money, that amount
  54. 1:54always goes back to the same range.
  55. 1:57Even though sometimes you manage to
  56. 1:58lose weight, your weight always ends up
  57. 2:00returning to that weight you know
  58. 2:01you've had for a long time. Even though
  59. 2:05sometimes you manage to be in a
  60. 2:06relationship with a different type of
  61. 2:08person, you always end up attracting
  62. 2:10people who are of a similar pattern,
  63. 2:12who are a similar type, and who treat
  64. 2:13you in a similar way. It’s not a lack
  65. 2:17of effort; it’s called self-image. It
  66. 2:20is controlling 100%of the things around
  67. 2:22you today without you even knowing it.
  68. 2:25How much money you earn, the kind of
  69. 2:27relationship you have, the type of body
  70. 2:29you have, the opportunities you see,
  71. 2:31and which ones you let pass by without
  72. 2:33even noticing. Everything, everything
  73. 2:35is consistent with the mental image you
  74. 2:37have inside yourself, deeply ingrained
  75. 2:39there, and which you probably don’t
  76. 2:40even understand what it’s like. Here
  77. 2:42in this video, I will try to explain it
  78. 2:44clearly, the way I would explain it to
  79. 2:47my younger self from a year and a half
  80. 2:49ago, or all my old versions that tried
  81. 2:51to change something and just couldn't.
  82. 2:53I’m going to tell you about the
  83. 2:54science, the metaphysical side, and the
  84. 2:57step-by-step process I applied that
  85. 2:58actually worked after so much time
  86. 3:00trying. If you’re in a hurry, you can
  87. 3:02leave this video and go watch a short
  88. 3:04clip instead. Now, if you really want
  89. 3:07change, if you’re really going to
  90. 3:08apply it, and you really want to
  91. 3:10understand these deeper concepts about
  92. 3:12your mind, then stay here with me,
  93. 3:14because I know you’ll like what
  94. 3:15you’re about to see. In 1960, a
  95. 3:18plastic surgeon in New York named
  96. 3:20Maxwell Maltz began to notice something
  97. 3:22very strange in his office. He would
  98. 3:25see people who came in for nose surgery
  99. 3:27, to change their appearance in some
  100. 3:29way, or remove an ugly scar from their
  101. 3:31face, and he would perform the surgery,
  102. 3:33it would turn out perfect, and some
  103. 3:35people would change their personality
  104. 3:37overnight. They started to become more
  105. 3:40confident, make eye contact, become
  106. 3:42more communicative, as if that had
  107. 3:44really caused an external and internal
  108. 3:47shift in them, as if their lives had
  109. 3:49truly changed with that change they
  110. 3:51made to their face. But there was one
  111. 3:53detail that drove this surgeon crazy.
  112. 3:56Some other people with the same surgery
  113. 3:58, often perfect, kept the same
  114. 4:00personality; in other words, they had
  115. 4:02no change at all. In other words, even
  116. 4:05though they looked in the mirror and
  117. 4:07saw that new nose, it was as if it
  118. 4:09wasn't even real, because they remained
  119. 4:11shy, they still couldn't look people in
  120. 4:13the eye, and they lacked self-esteem.
  121. 4:16Some would return to the office saying
  122. 4:18the surgery had gone wrong, that they
  123. 4:19wanted it redone, and that they simply
  124. 4:21didn't like the result. Even though the
  125. 4:24result, aesthetically looking from the
  126. 4:26surgeon's and other people's
  127. 4:27perspectives, was perfect. And that was
  128. 4:30when this guy discovered something that
  129. 4:32changed psychology forever. He realized
  130. 4:34that there are two images inside every
  131. 4:36person. There’s the reflection in the
  132. 4:38mirror, which is what you see when you
  133. 4:40look at yourself, and there’s the
  134. 4:42deeper image inside, which is who you
  135. 4:44believe you are. And at the end of the
  136. 4:47day, that second image is actually the
  137. 4:48only one that matters, because it
  138. 4:50controls everything in our lives. Maltz
  139. 4:52called this psychocybernetics and he
  140. 4:55even wrote a very good book about it.
  141. 4:58It became a classic that’s been
  142. 4:59around for over 70 years, and
  143. 5:00everything being discovered now by
  144. 5:02neuroscience just confirms what he had
  145. 5:04already discovered back then, man. And
  146. 5:06he documented some absurd cases. There
  147. 5:09was a man who lived locked in his house
  148. 5:11because he believed he had a horrible
  149. 5:12nose and giant ears. According to him,
  150. 5:15everyone noticed, everyone laughed at
  151. 5:17him; he quit job after job, and even
  152. 5:19his family couldn’t take it anymore.
  153. 5:22So they took him to Maltz's office.
  154. 5:24When the surgeon looked, he realized
  155. 5:26that his nose was actually a normal,
  156. 5:28classic Roman nose, nothing special,
  157. 5:30and his ears weren't even that big. The
  158. 5:34truth is that no one was laughing at
  159. 5:36him, no one cared that much about his
  160. 5:38ears or his nose, but in his
  161. 5:39imagination, he had distorted his
  162. 5:41self-image to the point where it became
  163. 5:43something very important and massive.
  164. 5:47In other words, he had lost touch with
  165. 5:49reality. And, in truth, he didn't just
  166. 5:51need surgery, because that wouldn't
  167. 5:53solve it. He needed a new self-image.
  168. 5:56And I can tell you now, speaking from
  169. 5:58my personal experience, that this is
  170. 6:00very real. I had that exact same
  171. 6:02surgery last year, which involved
  172. 6:05changes to my nose and my ears. And for
  173. 6:08a long time in my life, I couldn't tie
  174. 6:10my hair back or style it. I hated
  175. 6:13anything that involved that, and I
  176. 6:14hated being seen from the side. I hated
  177. 6:16for anyone to look at me from the side.
  178. 6:18I am sure that many people will
  179. 6:20identify with this. And honestly, the
  180. 6:23surgery was a dream come true for me
  181. 6:24that I had always wanted. But I
  182. 6:27realized a few months before that I
  183. 6:29also needed to change an image in my
  184. 6:31head. Because I understood that if I
  185. 6:33didn't change it in my mind, even if
  186. 6:35the surgery were perfect and everything
  187. 6:37went well, I would still feel ashamed.
  188. 6:39I still wouldn't tie my hair back, I'd
  189. 6:41still hate being seen from the side,
  190. 6:43and so on. So, I need you to watch this
  191. 6:46, because everything I'm telling you
  192. 6:48isn't just based on things I’ve read,
  193. 6:50but on things I’ve lived through
  194. 6:52myself and actually achieved results
  195. 6:53from. Results that transformed me as a
  196. 6:56person. And there was an even more
  197. 6:58incredible case. Edward McGaldrick, who
  198. 7:01founded the Alcoholism Therapy
  199. 7:03Department back in the 40s in New York,
  200. 7:06used a very simple technique. Every day
  201. 7:09, he had his patients close their eyes,
  202. 7:12relax, and create a mental movie of
  203. 7:14what it would be like to be sober: what
  204. 7:16it would feel like to wake up sober, go
  205. 7:19to work sober, or go on a date sober—
  206. 7:21they saw themselves sober before
  207. 7:23anything else in their day. Many of
  208. 7:27these people, after a few months,
  209. 7:28literally stopped drinking. It wasn't
  210. 7:30an uncontrollable struggle; it was a
  211. 7:33shift in their own mental image. They
  212. 7:35realized that it was, in fact, possible
  213. 7:37for them to be sober people. There was
  214. 7:40indeed a possibility to change, and a
  215. 7:42scenario existed where that was
  216. 7:43possible. And they were able to see
  217. 7:46that scenario. In 1955, two
  218. 7:47psychologists in Los Angeles conducted
  219. 7:50an even crazier experiment. They took
  220. 7:5345 men admitted to a psychiatric
  221. 7:55hospital with very serious disorders.
  222. 7:58They had them take a personality test,
  223. 8:01and then asked them to take it again.
  224. 8:04But this time, they had to answer as if
  225. 8:06they were—and look at this phrase—a
  226. 8:08typical, well-adjusted person on the
  227. 8:10outside. Three-quarters of them
  228. 8:13improved because they had imagined
  229. 8:15themselves and stepped into that mental
  230. 8:17scene of what it would be like to be a
  231. 8:19normal person. Are you starting to
  232. 8:22grasp the magnitude of what I'm telling
  233. 8:24you? This isn't just some random
  234. 8:25positivity. This is a mechanism of your
  235. 8:28own brain. A year and a half ago, as I
  236. 8:30told you, I was 26 pounds heavier, and
  237. 8:32it wasn't a lack of information. I
  238. 8:34don't think anyone lacks information
  239. 8:35these days. And you can see that. I
  240. 8:38knew exactly what I had to eat and how
  241. 8:40much I should be training. I had a meal
  242. 8:42plan from a nutritionist, I paid for a
  243. 8:44gym, I have a gym in my building, but I
  244. 8:46did one very specific thing that you
  245. 8:48might identify with. Every time I got
  246. 8:50close to the result I wanted most, I
  247. 8:52would sabotage myself. Like, I’d lose
  248. 8:556 pounds. Wow! The following week,
  249. 8:58I’d find a way to go back to my usual
  250. 9:00weight. I would eat everything again,
  251. 9:02every time, for years. There was always
  252. 9:05an excuse. "Oh, this time it’s
  253. 9:06so-and-so’s birthday.""Oh, no, this
  254. 9:08time I have a wedding.""Oh, this time
  255. 9:10it's a holiday, man." I’m going to
  256. 9:11treat myself to some relaxation. Oh, I
  257. 9:13deserve it. I worked so hard today.
  258. 9:15Anyway, I had all these kinds of
  259. 9:17excuses to always have a reason to eat.
  260. 9:21And I'm not even talking about having a
  261. 9:22little bit, tasting something, or being
  262. 9:24part of special moments. I'm talking
  263. 9:27about eating uncontrollably, like,
  264. 9:29really, uncontrollably, out of nowhere,
  265. 9:31for no reason, without hunger, as if a
  266. 9:34force was pulling me from behind and
  267. 9:36making me do that. And right after, I
  268. 9:39remember exactly the feeling, because
  269. 9:41it was a feeling of like, why did I do
  270. 9:43this crap? I knew I didn't really want
  271. 9:46that or at least I didn't need to have
  272. 9:48eaten so much. But I always thought: "
  273. 9:50No, tomorrow it'll work out, starting
  274. 9:51tomorrow I'll really stick to it,
  275. 9:52starting next month I won't make
  276. 9:54excuses." And I always told myself that
  277. 9:56, but it never really changed. And
  278. 9:59sometimes it happened that I judged
  279. 10:01myself as a weak person, spineless,
  280. 10:03without the power to make a real change
  281. 10:05when I said I would. But it wasn't a
  282. 10:07lack of effort or lack of knowledge. It
  283. 10:10was my self-image finding a way to get
  284. 10:13rid of a body it didn't identify with.
  285. 10:16Because in my head, I was a 150-pound
  286. 10:19person. If you asked me to picture
  287. 10:21myself as a mental avatar, I would
  288. 10:23always, all these past years, imagine a
  289. 10:26person who weighed 150 pounds, who was
  290. 10:28a certain way, who thought in a certain
  291. 10:31way. So, how was I going to change? And
  292. 10:34if you stop to think, a person who was
  293. 10:35thin their whole life will think of
  294. 10:37themselves, in their mental image, as a
  295. 10:39thin person. And an overweight person
  296. 10:42will probably imagine themselves
  297. 10:44mentally as that person. That is
  298. 10:46natural, that is normal. We have
  299. 10:48memories that built a narrative of how
  300. 10:50we are, who we are, where we are in the
  301. 10:53world, and even how far we can go. And
  302. 10:55the point here is that this doesn't
  303. 10:57just happen in one area or another, it
  304. 10:59happens in every area. And for me, it
  305. 11:02always happened in the area regarding
  306. 11:04money, relationships, friendships, and
  307. 11:06anything else. Every area of our life
  308. 11:09ends up having an invisible ceiling
  309. 11:12that, no matter what you do, you won't
  310. 11:14be able to break through if you don't
  311. 11:16change your self-image. And the
  312. 11:18craziest thing is that not all these
  313. 11:20ceilings in every area of our lives are
  314. 11:22horrible, or are low ceilings. There
  315. 11:26are some ceilings in our lives that you
  316. 11:27look at and say, "Well, it's fine, if I
  317. 11:29can just stay at this level, I'm good,
  318. 11:30it's smooth." But why don't we ask
  319. 11:33ourselves? Why can't I break through?
  320. 11:36Why can't I have an extraordinary
  321. 11:38result in this area of my life? Why can
  322. 11:41other people earn so much money while I
  323. 11:42always hit this ceiling here and can't
  324. 11:44get past it? Even when I'm working
  325. 11:47harder than those other people
  326. 11:48sometimes? And this is the type of
  327. 11:50question that leads us to understand
  328. 11:51that the problem sometimes isn't
  329. 11:53conscious, it's somewhere else. And
  330. 11:55that is where I want to take you in
  331. 11:56this part of the video. Now let's get
  332. 11:58to the most important part. How does
  333. 12:00this work inside your brain? When you
  334. 12:03truly understand this, it's like a
  335. 12:04switch flipping in your head. Your
  336. 12:07brain receives 11 million bits of
  337. 12:09information per second. Yes, 11 million
  338. 12:11. Everything happening around you right
  339. 12:15now, while you watch this video, all
  340. 12:16the images, all the sounds, the smells,
  341. 12:18everything happening, you can't process
  342. 12:20all of that, obviously, at the same
  343. 12:22time. If you tried to process all these
  344. 12:25things, your brain would, I don't know,
  345. 12:27explode. So, there is a system inside
  346. 12:30your brain called the reticular
  347. 12:31activating system, which functions like
  348. 12:33a filter. It decides what it will
  349. 12:36filter for you to process and what it
  350. 12:38will let through, meaning what will
  351. 12:40enter your consciousness and what will
  352. 12:42be ignored. And the criterion for this
  353. 12:45filter is your self-image. Your brain
  354. 12:49only lets through what confirms who you
  355. 12:51believe you are, what is in accordance
  356. 12:53with your beliefs about existence,
  357. 12:55about the world, and about yourself.
  358. 12:58Everything else is as if it were
  359. 13:00ignored, distorted, or deleted without
  360. 13:03you even noticing. Researchers call
  361. 13:05these three cognitive shortcuts:
  362. 13:07simplify, filter, and modify. The brain
  363. 13:10simplifies information by fitting it
  364. 13:12into patterns you already have, filters
  365. 13:15out what doesn't match what you believe
  366. 13:17, and modifies some data to fit what
  367. 13:19you already expect. A dirty trick? Yes,
  368. 13:22a dirty trick. But that is how the
  369. 13:24thing works. So, if in your self-image
  370. 13:27you are a person who has no money or
  371. 13:29who sees money as something that
  372. 13:30requires great effort, that you need to
  373. 13:32bleed to get the bare minimum, your
  374. 13:34brain actively makes you miss money
  375. 13:36opportunities passing right in front of
  376. 13:38you. You see information, you pass by
  377. 13:41it too quickly and don't notice it, and
  378. 13:43you don't see the proposal. Or you
  379. 13:46watch content like this and simply
  380. 13:48can't grasp the important message,
  381. 13:50can't apply it to your life. You meet
  382. 13:53someone and don't realize who they are
  383. 13:55or how they could help you, among
  384. 13:57millions of other things I could
  385. 13:58mention here that happen—they aren't
  386. 14:00coincidences, they are this filter. If
  387. 14:03in your self-image you are a person who
  388. 14:05weighs a specific number, regardless of
  389. 14:08what that means to you, whenever you
  390. 14:10are far from it, your self-image will
  391. 14:12try to pull you back, and you will
  392. 14:14notice it. If you stop to think now,
  393. 14:17you will remember things that happened
  394. 14:19where you realize this was taking place
  395. 14:21, that you had no reason to act that
  396. 14:23way, that you knew it wasn't the right
  397. 14:25way to act, that you didn't need to do
  398. 14:27such a thing, but you did it anyway. If
  399. 14:31in your self-image you are a person no
  400. 14:33one takes seriously, no matter how many
  401. 14:35compliments you receive, you kind of
  402. 14:36just ignore them. It’s as if they
  403. 14:39didn't hold much weight, but a single
  404. 14:41criticism is enough to take you down.
  405. 14:43And you think, see? That’s why,
  406. 14:45that’s why I don’t even do such
  407. 14:46things, that’s why I don’t even
  408. 14:47create content. I knew it, man. That is
  409. 14:50why it’s so important to stop and
  410. 14:51think about these things and question
  411. 14:53why things happen the way they do. And
  412. 14:55question yourself, question your
  413. 14:57consciousness as to why you are acting
  414. 15:00this way, what is inside you that is
  415. 15:02leading you to act in such a way and
  416. 15:04get such results. And what you have to
  417. 15:07understand is that your filter is doing
  418. 15:10its job; it is protecting the identity
  419. 15:12you have, recording all the information
  420. 15:14that confirms and relates to your
  421. 15:16mental image, and discarding everything
  422. 15:18that doesn't. And one of the most
  423. 15:22interesting and shocking points about
  424. 15:25this is that 99%of the things you
  425. 15:27believe today were formed between your
  426. 15:30birth and the age of 7. During this
  427. 15:33period, scientifically speaking, your
  428. 15:35brain is in a state of theta waves,
  429. 15:37which is practically a state of
  430. 15:38hypnosis. Everything you saw, heard,
  431. 15:42and felt from age zero to seven was
  432. 15:45recorded in your subconscious, without
  433. 15:47a critical filter or questioning.
  434. 15:51Everything your parents or those around
  435. 15:54you said about money, bodies, men,
  436. 15:56women, or life, all of that went
  437. 15:58straight in there. And it is based on
  438. 16:02all of that that you still make
  439. 16:04decisions today, in your 20s, 30s, 40s,
  440. 16:06or 50s. Think about how crazy that is.
  441. 16:10You are making important decisions
  442. 16:11about your life, what you’ll do, and
  443. 16:13who you want to be. And those decisions
  444. 16:16are based on things you absorbed during
  445. 16:18that time, often things you don't even
  446. 16:21remember or think no longer affect you.
  447. 16:24But those things are still there, which
  448. 16:26is why you often feel frustrated for
  449. 16:27not being able to change certain things
  450. 16:29. You need to remember that you are
  451. 16:32trying to change 20 or 30 years of
  452. 16:34reprogramming a foundation that has
  453. 16:36been built. In 30 days, that is simply
  454. 16:39not possible. And just to finish
  455. 16:41explaining how it works, I’ll give
  456. 16:43you an analogy Bob Proctor uses, which
  457. 16:45I find perfect. Think of a plane
  458. 16:47departing from New York to Hawaii. Once
  459. 16:50the plane is in the air, the pilot
  460. 16:51turns on the autopilot. That autopilot
  461. 16:54is programmed for a single destination,
  462. 16:55which is Hawaii. If there’s
  463. 16:57turbulence, or if the plane goes off
  464. 16:59course, the autopilot will always
  465. 17:01correct it. It doesn't ask if you want
  466. 17:04to go to Hawaii; it will just take you
  467. 17:05there because it’s programmed to make
  468. 17:07that happen. Your self-image is exactly
  469. 17:10like this autopilot for your life. It
  470. 17:14is programmed for a specific
  471. 17:15destination that might not even be good
  472. 17:17for you—it could be terrible—but
  473. 17:19every decision you make unconsciously
  474. 17:21every single day is steering you toward
  475. 17:23that place. And whether you like it or
  476. 17:26not, for your subconscious, that is the
  477. 17:29normal place, the destination. If you
  478. 17:31don't reprogram this autopilot, it will
  479. 17:33always return to the same pattern. And
  480. 17:35mind you, there has been research on
  481. 17:37this for decades. Psychologists who
  482. 17:39studied self-image identified that it
  483. 17:41has four elements. The first is the
  484. 17:43self-image itself, which is how you see
  485. 17:45yourself. The second is your ideal self
  486. 17:47, who you would like to be. The third
  487. 17:50is your real self, meaning the feedback
  488. 17:52you receive from people who know you,
  489. 17:54regarding who they believe you are. And
  490. 17:56the fourth is how you interpret this
  491. 17:58feedback that you receive from other
  492. 18:00people. And then, beyond all of that,
  493. 18:03there are six different dimensions.
  494. 18:06There is the physical dimension, which
  495. 18:07is how you evaluate your appearance,
  496. 18:09the psychological, how you evaluate
  497. 18:11your personality, the intellectual, the
  498. 18:13social, the moral, and the sexual. All
  499. 18:15of this, all these forms have to do
  500. 18:18with your self-image. They all build
  501. 18:20your self-image. All of this is there
  502. 18:22in your brain without you even
  503. 18:24realizing it. The good news about all
  504. 18:27of this is that you can basically
  505. 18:28change this filter. And that is what I
  506. 18:31most want to show you in this video
  507. 18:32here. There is a layer to this subject
  508. 18:34that I really like. It is a little
  509. 18:36crazier and goes a little deeper than
  510. 18:38science, but I think it is important
  511. 18:39because it connects things. And that
  512. 18:42thing is: reality does not give you
  513. 18:44what you want, it returns to you who
  514. 18:46you are. Whatever you are appears to
  515. 18:49you in your external world. And I know
  516. 18:52this is painful to hear because it
  517. 18:54means that, often, we have to be able
  518. 18:56to take responsibility for the things
  519. 18:58that happen to us. In other words, you
  520. 19:02have to be able to see that, often, the
  521. 19:04problem is indeed in you, that often
  522. 19:06the fault is indeed yours. And if you
  523. 19:08can change who you are and the way you
  524. 19:10react to the things that happen to you,
  525. 19:13then you will be able to change your
  526. 19:15external world. Everything external is
  527. 19:17connected to your self-image. And you
  528. 19:20currently live at a specific frequency,
  529. 19:22where you have a specific ceiling.
  530. 19:24There are people who live at totally
  531. 19:26different frequencies and there is
  532. 19:27indeed the possibility of a version of
  533. 19:29you that earns much more money, that
  534. 19:31has a much better relationship, and so
  535. 19:33on. But these realities are not yet
  536. 19:35available to you, because you do not
  537. 19:37yet live at that frequency. And you
  538. 19:39will only be able to live at this new
  539. 19:41frequency when your self-image is in
  540. 19:43accordance with it. This is basically a
  541. 19:46pattern, it is a set point that is a
  542. 19:48ceiling where you always get stuck.
  543. 19:50Whether it's financial,
  544. 19:52relationship-wise, or any other area of
  545. 19:54our life, there is always this set
  546. 19:57point and we cannot advance to the next
  547. 19:59level without changing who we are. And
  548. 20:02to change this, you need to look at it
  549. 20:04as if it were a mirror. So, there is no
  550. 20:06way for me to change the reflection
  551. 20:08that is being reflected in the mirror
  552. 20:09without changing the image. I need to
  553. 20:11change the image first so that the
  554. 20:13reflection then changes. This is so
  555. 20:15important that I’m going to tell you
  556. 20:17a series of cases to fix this in your
  557. 20:19head so you don’t watch this and just
  558. 20:21forget it. I want these stories to be
  559. 20:23so impactful that you’ll remember
  560. 20:25them. The first case is the guy who
  561. 20:26created the Hilton hotel chain. He used
  562. 20:29to say that when he was a child, he
  563. 20:31would play at being a hotel owner, and
  564. 20:33as a teenager, he imagined himself
  565. 20:35managing hotels. And what happened was
  566. 20:37that even decades before he had the
  567. 20:40money to buy a hotel, he already saw
  568. 20:42himself as the owner of several hotels.
  569. 20:44And when it finally happened, it was
  570. 20:46natural, because he had already
  571. 20:47imagined what it would be like.
  572. 20:49Napoleon, for example, before becoming
  573. 20:51the commander he turned into, wrote,
  574. 20:53according to records, 400 pages
  575. 20:55imagining himself as a general. He drew
  576. 20:58tactical maps, imagining where he would
  577. 21:00set up his defense. He calculated
  578. 21:02positions using mathematics. All of
  579. 21:05this in his imagination before any real
  580. 21:07battle. And the interesting thing here
  581. 21:10isn't just about these specific cases I
  582. 21:12told you about, but if you are a
  583. 21:15minimally curious person and research
  584. 21:17the people you admire, badass people
  585. 21:20from history who built impactful things
  586. 21:22, who made art, who made history, you
  587. 21:25will realize that many of them used
  588. 21:27this type of exercise of imagining
  589. 21:29things happening even before they
  590. 21:32actually did. Michael Jackson, Michael
  591. 21:35Phelps, Beyoncé, among many other
  592. 21:37incredible examples. Ben Hogan, the
  593. 21:39golf legend, imagined every single shot
  594. 21:42before it even happened. He physically
  595. 21:45felt every movement, gripping the club,
  596. 21:47the ball being struck; every detail was
  597. 21:50imagined by him before anything
  598. 21:52happened physically. And when it did
  599. 21:55happen, his muscles already knew what
  600. 21:57to do. And beyond these cases, I’ll
  601. 21:59tell you about just two more scientific
  602. 22:01experiments that prove everything I’m
  603. 22:02telling you here. The first one was
  604. 22:04when they took three groups of students
  605. 22:06to test basketball shooting, to improve
  606. 22:08their basketball shots. Group one
  607. 22:10trained physically for 20 minutes a day
  608. 22:13for 20 days. Group two did absolutely
  609. 22:16nothing, and group three spent just 20
  610. 22:18minutes a day imagining shooting balls.
  611. 22:21The result was that group one improved
  612. 22:23by 24%, group two improved by zero,
  613. 22:26obviously, and group three, which only
  614. 22:28imagined it, improved by 23%. Almost
  615. 22:31the same as those who spent time
  616. 22:33training physically. The second
  617. 22:36experiment was when they took an
  618. 22:38athlete and measured his strength on a
  619. 22:40dynamometer, his hand strength, and it
  620. 22:41was 45 kg of force. After that, they
  621. 22:45put him under hypnosis for a few
  622. 22:47minutes and then, when they woke him up
  623. 22:49from that hypnosis, they measured him
  624. 22:50again and he had 57 kg of strength. And
  625. 22:54during that hypnosis, what they kept
  626. 22:56saying while hypnotizing him was that
  627. 22:57he was stronger, that he had more
  628. 22:59strength. What happened wasn't that he
  629. 23:02gained muscle in 3 minutes, because
  630. 23:04that's impossible, but it's as if a
  631. 23:06mental block had been removed,
  632. 23:08releasing the strength he already had.
  633. 23:11I hope everything I'm saying here is
  634. 23:13showing you that you are what you
  635. 23:14believe you are. And this can change
  636. 23:17everything if you practice it in your
  637. 23:19life and understand it with every cell
  638. 23:20of your being. And perhaps you're
  639. 23:23already thinking: "Okay, but I've
  640. 23:24already tried affirmation techniques,
  641. 23:26I've tried faking it 'til I make it,"
  642. 23:27but I'm here to tell you that none of
  643. 23:29this will work if done superficially.
  644. 23:32Convincing yourself of something real
  645. 23:35without working on your subconscious
  646. 23:37won't work, because they are two
  647. 23:39separate layers of our mind, and one is
  648. 23:41much deeper: the subconscious. Imagine
  649. 23:44that your subconscious has had evidence
  650. 23:46for 20, 30 years of one thing and you
  651. 23:48keep trying to convince it otherwise.
  652. 23:51This won't work unless you truly work
  653. 23:53on it deeply, changing your self-image
  654. 23:55and providing evidence of your new
  655. 23:57image. Real change will happen when you
  656. 24:01change that image you have of yourself
  657. 24:03at the deepest, most sensory and
  658. 24:05emotional level possible. It's not
  659. 24:08about repeating words; it's about a
  660. 24:10vivid and deep mental rehearsal. And
  661. 24:13everything that came before in this
  662. 24:15video was to prepare you for what comes
  663. 24:17now. I want to show you exactly how to
  664. 24:19do all of this. Grab a pen and paper;
  665. 24:21if you've watched my other video, you
  666. 24:23already know what comes next and you
  667. 24:25already know how much I love pen and
  668. 24:26paper. And practice this for real, not
  669. 24:29superficially, not just by watching
  670. 24:31this video, but do it and see what
  671. 24:32happens. One of the most important
  672. 24:36steps you must take now is to recognize
  673. 24:38your entire life pattern without
  674. 24:40judgment. You need to look at what is
  675. 24:43happening and understand what is going
  676. 24:44on. So, for this, grab a piece of paper
  677. 24:47and write down how much you earn today.
  678. 24:48About how long have you been earning
  679. 24:50that same amount? Have you tried harder
  680. 24:53to increase that amount and it still
  681. 24:54didn't work out? How much do you weigh?
  682. 24:56About how long have you weighed that
  683. 24:59number? What are your relationships
  684. 25:00like? Do you always attract the same
  685. 25:02type of person? What is that type of
  686. 25:03person like? What are your friends like
  687. 25:05? Do they lift you up or bring you down
  688. 25:07? What style of routine do you have?
  689. 25:11Are you always complaining, or are you
  690. 25:13always grateful? What are the things
  691. 25:15you usually do with consistency? How
  692. 25:17have you been spending your time? How
  693. 25:19do you talk about yourself when no one
  694. 25:21is around? Anyway, there are so many
  695. 25:24exercise possibilities within this for
  696. 25:27you to self-reflect, see yourself, and
  697. 25:29understand who you are. When you do
  698. 25:31this, you start to understand your
  699. 25:33current frequency, your ceiling, your
  700. 25:35set point. And if you don't change this
  701. 25:38, if you don't change your self-image,
  702. 25:40this will continue for a very, very,
  703. 25:41very long time, perhaps forever. Now,
  704. 25:45the next step is to know exactly who
  705. 25:47your ideal self is, which is the ideal
  706. 25:49person you wish to become. But this is
  707. 25:52where most people go wrong, because
  708. 25:54they write generic things, like, I want
  709. 25:56to be more disciplined, I want a better
  710. 25:58relationship, I want to be thin. But
  711. 26:00that is not going to work. You need
  712. 26:02something deep and specific to give to
  713. 26:04your brain. Your mission here is to
  714. 26:07literally draw out every specific
  715. 26:09detail of this person. And I did this
  716. 26:13back then, and you have no idea how
  717. 26:15much it transformed me, because I knew
  718. 26:17exactly who I wanted to become. And
  719. 26:20even though I may not have done
  720. 26:21everything I wrote in that notebook yet
  721. 26:23, I know I am on the path to becoming
  722. 26:24that person. And when I talk about
  723. 26:27being specific, I really mean being
  724. 26:28specific. Like: you are going to write
  725. 26:32what this person is like, in every
  726. 26:34detail: appearance, mindset, habits,
  727. 26:36friends, routine, environment, how they
  728. 26:39are perceived, what they do, how they
  729. 26:41use their free time, what they read,
  730. 26:44what they watch. And also add visual
  731. 26:47references so you can see it. And all
  732. 26:51this isn't just for you to see it as if
  733. 26:53on a pedestal, you know? As something
  734. 26:55distant, something hard to achieve, but
  735. 26:58rather for you to bring what is distant
  736. 27:01closer and realize that yes, it is
  737. 27:03possible. And then, instead of seeing
  738. 27:06that goal as something very distant
  739. 27:08that only specific people can achieve,
  740. 27:10you start bringing it closer to the
  741. 27:11self-image you're creating and
  742. 27:13transforming it into something possible
  743. 27:15for you, for this new version of
  744. 27:16yourself. Now, after that, what really
  745. 27:20changed the game for me was
  746. 27:22transforming all of this into something
  747. 27:24very visual, where I could place myself
  748. 27:26in this world that I was already living
  749. 27:28in my imagination, as the person I
  750. 27:30wanted to become. And I'm not talking
  751. 27:33about just visualizing it for a minute
  752. 27:35here. Because I know many people can't
  753. 27:37even imagine what it's like to enter a
  754. 27:39flow state, where you can truly
  755. 27:41understand and imagine what every act
  756. 27:44of your day is like being this other
  757. 27:46person, what your routine is like, how
  758. 27:48you see and feel the sensations as this
  759. 27:51other person, how your reality would be
  760. 27:53as this other person. And I know this
  761. 27:56will seem crazy to a lot of people.
  762. 27:57Most people won't do even 1%of what I'm
  763. 27:59talking about here. But man, if you
  764. 28:02look at how much I've changed as living
  765. 28:04proof of this, I'm sure you'll want to
  766. 28:07try. The point here is: understand in
  767. 28:09detail and imagine in detail how that
  768. 28:12would really be. Don't just let your
  769. 28:15goals be a simple abstraction, a simple
  770. 28:17saying: "Oh, I want to do this, one day
  771. 28:20I want to do this and one day I want to
  772. 28:22be like that," but transform that into
  773. 28:24a real action plan, where you first
  774. 28:26understand what you want, how that
  775. 28:28would be in your reality, imagine it
  776. 28:30happening, start creating daily
  777. 28:32evidence that shows you that, in fact,
  778. 28:34you can indeed become that, and start,
  779. 28:36little by little, to transform into the
  780. 28:39person necessary to live that. And this
  781. 28:42can take months or it can take years.
  782. 28:44Remember that every action you take is
  783. 28:46a vote for the person you are becoming.
  784. 28:49Before any decision you make in your
  785. 28:51day, think about how this version would
  786. 28:53act, what it would say, how it would
  787. 28:55think. And then you try more and more
  788. 28:57to act as this person would act. And I
  789. 29:00know that many times you will fail and
  790. 29:02many times you won't succeed, but the
  791. 29:04simple fact of consciously trying to do
  792. 29:06this will make things happen. In the
  793. 29:09beginning, it's something forced that
  794. 29:10you have to stop and think about, that
  795. 29:12you struggle with. You often can't say
  796. 29:15no to something, you can't refuse, but
  797. 29:17then it becomes a habit and you'll
  798. 29:19realize yourself, like, wow, I actually
  799. 29:21did this and it wasn't even that hard.
  800. 29:24And the people around you will start to
  801. 29:26notice that you're changing, that
  802. 29:27you're transforming, and it all starts
  803. 29:29snowballing. And when you really start
  804. 29:31to change, the reality around you will
  805. 29:33begin to change as well. New
  806. 29:35opportunities, new people, new ideas
  807. 29:38will arrive. And this is where most
  808. 29:41people mess everything up, because here
  809. 29:43reality will feel like too much for you
  810. 29:45, it will be scary, it will be
  811. 29:46uncomfortable, you'll feel like you
  812. 29:48don't deserve it, and then you'll start
  813. 29:50to feel an urge to conflict, to pull
  814. 29:52back, to go back to your old version.
  815. 29:55You'll often want to turn down
  816. 29:57opportunities, you'll want to put it
  817. 29:58off for now. And when that happens, I
  818. 30:01need to tell you to consent to this new
  819. 30:03reality. Don't let your old reality,
  820. 30:06your old self-image, pull you back
  821. 30:08again. And sometimes this will happen,
  822. 30:11and I know it will because it happened
  823. 30:13to me. But what you need to do is keep
  824. 30:15this in mind. I am going to consent to
  825. 30:17my new reality. I am going to let it
  826. 30:19become real. Accept that it can indeed
  827. 30:21be yours, that you deserve it. Yes.
  828. 30:24When you get close to the result, your
  829. 30:26old identity will scream, it will pull
  830. 30:28at you, it will do everything to keep
  831. 30:30you from continuing to advance. You
  832. 30:32lose a little weight and then, out of
  833. 30:33nowhere, an excuse appears. Oh, because
  834. 30:35it's someone's birthday, or a wedding,
  835. 30:37or a holiday, or I have a trip. There's
  836. 30:40always a way for something to happen.
  837. 30:41And it's the same thing with money. You
  838. 30:43get some money and suddenly a debt
  839. 30:45appears or you lend the money to
  840. 30:46someone. Same thing with relationships.
  841. 30:48You're happy, but then it feels like
  842. 30:50you're too happy. So you create a
  843. 30:51problem where there isn't one. And I
  844. 30:52know this because it happened to me.
  845. 30:54And this happens because you still
  846. 30:56don't identify with that new result.
  847. 30:58And your brain is trying to get you out
  848. 31:00of the unknown and back into the known.
  849. 31:03It's your set point pulling you back.
  850. 31:05It's your old self-image dragging you
  851. 31:06back. When this happens, and it will
  852. 31:08happen, you need to remember that you
  853. 31:10are this new person. Now you are
  854. 31:12changing, and that's okay. You deserve
  855. 31:14it. And that there is just your old
  856. 31:16identity trying to survive. Let it go.
  857. 31:19Breathe. Sometimes you will mess up and
  858. 31:22it will take time, but you can consent
  859. 31:23to this new version of yourself and you
  860. 31:25can change. Molt, back in 1960, already
  861. 31:29said something very simple that really
  862. 31:31works: try to change one small thing in
  863. 31:33your day today, even if it's silly,
  864. 31:35even if it's as silly as, "oh, I'm
  865. 31:36going to put on my left shoe instead of
  866. 31:38my right one, I'm going to eat with the
  867. 31:40hand I'm not used to." Anyway, this
  868. 31:43kind of small thing shows your brain
  869. 31:45that you can indeed change. So, every
  870. 31:48day you give proof that the version you
  871. 31:50were before, you are no longer. You
  872. 31:52loosen up that autopilot a bit and
  873. 31:55start observing things and letting the
  874. 31:58new in, letting opportunities in. And
  875. 32:01then your self-image will start, as it
  876. 32:03begins to accept changes on a small
  877. 32:05scale, it will begin to accept changes
  878. 32:07on a large scale over time. And lastly,
  879. 32:10don't go around talking about your
  880. 32:12goals to the people around you. I know
  881. 32:14that for some people it seems kind of
  882. 32:16obvious and for others it seems a bit
  883. 32:18counterintuitive, but I'll tell you why
  884. 32:19. There are two reasons that I believe
  885. 32:21defend this idea very well. The first
  886. 32:23is that the people who have known you
  887. 32:25for a long time already have your old
  888. 32:27self-image, your current self-image, in
  889. 32:30their heads. For them, it's strange to
  890. 32:32see you changing and, unintentionally,
  891. 32:34they end up helping to pull you back to
  892. 32:37your old pattern with some jokes, with
  893. 32:39some phrases, or simply by not
  894. 32:40understanding why you're doing such a
  895. 32:42thing. And the second reason is that
  896. 32:45talking about your goals gives a false
  897. 32:47sense that you've already achieved them
  898. 32:49. And then, at that moment, your sense
  899. 32:51of urgency decreases and your hunger to
  900. 32:53make that happen will also decrease.
  901. 32:55There's a neuroscience study that shows
  902. 32:57that telling someone a goal reduces the
  903. 32:59probability of accomplishing it. So, do
  904. 33:01the following: do it in silence, stay
  905. 33:03quiet, study, practice, study, practice
  906. 33:06, make mistakes. Either way, this will
  907. 33:09take time, but you don't need to go
  908. 33:10around telling everyone and expecting
  909. 33:13them to understand you and support you.
  910. 33:16Let your results speak louder and let
  911. 33:18people notice your change. And man, to
  912. 33:21finish, I'll tell you a truth that was
  913. 33:23very impactful when I understood it,
  914. 33:25and it really came from my personal
  915. 33:26experience, which is: the hardest thing
  916. 33:28in your life isn't losing weight, it
  917. 33:30isn't making money, it isn't building a
  918. 33:32business. it's changing who you are,
  919. 33:35it's letting go of the version of us
  920. 33:37that has been stuck to us for all these
  921. 33:38years. it's accepting that what brought
  922. 33:41you here won't take you to the next
  923. 33:43point. That is why most people don't
  924. 33:46change. And clearly if you're here, you
  925. 33:48already understood it's not a lack of
  926. 33:50knowledge, especially because you know
  927. 33:51there are millions of other videos like
  928. 33:53this on the same subject. There are
  929. 33:55books, there is content, but what's
  930. 33:58missing is the courage to kill who we
  931. 34:00were, to kill our old version so the
  932. 34:02new one can emerge. And I know this is
  933. 34:05often scary, but it's the only thing
  934. 34:07that will really change everything for
  935. 34:09you, because when this death happens,
  936. 34:11everything else will come as a
  937. 34:12consequence. All those results you
  938. 34:14imagine, that you want, will come as a
  939. 34:17consequence of your new self-image.
  940. 34:19It’s as if the roles were reversed.
  941. 34:21Instead of you going in search of that,
  942. 34:24that will come in search of you
  943. 34:25automatically with the new person you
  944. 34:27have become. There is no fast track.
  945. 34:30But I once saw a phrase that is very
  946. 34:32real and that phrase is: "The sooner
  947. 34:34you understand that it will take longer
  948. 34:36than you wanted, the sooner things
  949. 34:38start to change faster than you
  950. 34:40expected." So, even if this is a slow
  951. 34:44process from now on, it may be that in
  952. 34:462, 3, 4 years you are a completely
  953. 34:48different person and you have results
  954. 34:50in your life that you look at and see
  955. 34:53that it's what you really wanted and
  956. 34:55you identify with who you are. A year
  957. 34:59from now, you might come back here to
  958. 35:01comment on how much you changed after
  959. 35:03watching and applying this video. And
  960. 35:05remember that this person will exist
  961. 35:07not because you worked harder or tried
  962. 35:09harder or studied more, but because you
  963. 35:11changed what you really had to change,
  964. 35:13which is yourself. I am living proof of
  965. 35:16this, and if I can do it, anyone can.
  966. 35:19What I did was discover this mechanism,
  967. 35:21study a lot, apply it for a long time,
  968. 35:24enough time, and even when I failed, I
  969. 35:26went back to doing it and continued
  970. 35:29until it worked. Do the following: if
  971. 35:31you are going to do everything I told
  972. 35:33you here, comment below because I
  973. 35:34really want to know how many people I
  974. 35:36impacted with this video. And remember
  975. 35:38the main phrase: "You are who you
  976. 35:40believe you are" and you can change
  977. 35:42that belief. Thank you so much for
  978. 35:44watching this far.
