- 0:00my name is eva schloss i was born in
- 0:03austria vieda
- 0:05and i'm a holocaust survivor from
- 0:14auschwitz
- 0:27okay here we go good morning good
- 0:30morning
- 0:31how are you i'm feeling very well a
- 0:34little nervous
- 0:45well of course it was different when i
- 0:47was little and when i
- 0:48started to go to school
- 1:02what makes you happy
- 1:06but i always wanted to create their
- 1:09family
- 1:10and i was able to do that
- 1:16this exhibit i think is amazing it makes
- 1:20for my kids especially it just makes it
- 1:22really come to life for them
- 1:24to be able to speak to somebody that um
- 1:26had these experiences
- 1:28um it and be able to ask whatever
- 1:30question they they wanted
- 1:32is they're just incredible and um very
- 1:34real for them
- 1:36what kind of questions did you ask um
- 1:39what's your favorite color what's your
- 1:41favorite color
- 1:43um
- 1:49it's very important because holocaust
- 1:52survivors won't be around for much
- 1:54longer to able to
- 1:56tell their stories and like this it will
- 1:58be able to work for
- 2:00the future for 20 30 40 years
- 2:04young people will still be able to hear
- 2:06the story
- 2:07from us actually yes so we won't be
- 2:10around anymore
