Aurora Dust 2 Pistol Strat: Mid Fake Into Short Explode (CS2) — Transcript

1. 0:00Today, I'm showing you Aurora's Dust 2
2. 0:01CT pistol strategy that's going to
3. 0:03involve Major throwing an Xbox smoke and
4. 0:07three of his teammates are going into
5. 0:08tunnel. They're going to clear out lower
6. 0:10tunnel. This Xbox smoke is going to give
7. 0:12them cover to do so from any CTs holding
8. 0:15from short and cat. So, they get the
9. 0:17entry onto Frozen here and they're going
10. 0:19to wait out the Xbox smoke and get close
11. 0:22mid doors as they have a teammate top
12. 0:25mid that's going to flash them through
13. 0:27doors to go ahead and fake and show
14. 0:29presence here towards mid. Right after,
15. 0:31they're going to instantly jump up Xbox.
16. 0:34All five players are going to go up
17. 0:36towards short. We've got Major throwing
18. 0:38the mid to B smoke. Woxic is going to
19. 0:41throw two flashes to entry out. Soulfly
20. 0:44is going to be the one jumping down and
21. 0:46rushing long while Major has an extra
22. 0:49flash to go ahead to allow him to scale,
23. 0:51which is going to blind this CT here
24. 0:53getting the free entry. You can see the
25. 0:55mid to B smoke is going to give cover
26. 0:57for him to drop down safely. That mid to
27. 0:59B smoke also sells a fake that Aurora
28. 1:02are going mid to B because, if you
29. 1:05remember, 5 to 10 seconds earlier before
30. 1:08Major threw that smoke, their teammates
31. 1:10got flashed. The three lower tunnels got
32. 1:12flashed out here to clear out door so
33. 1:15CTs could think that, you know, it is
34. 1:17mid to B. But, really, it's not a mid to
35. 1:20B. That smoke is used as a decoy, a
36. 1:22fake, but also gives cover for Soulfly
37. 1:24to drop down. The only concern that I
38. 1:26have with this strategy is the Xbox
39. 1:27smoke being thrown from Major. The smoke
40. 1:30is bounces off the ground, so it could
41. 1:32be body blocked. And then,
42. 1:35I also want to talk about why they're
43. 1:37running this strategy. Now, it's very
44. 1:39meta in the pro scene that the CTs on CT
45. 1:43pistol round, they're running some type
46. 1:44of mid aggression strategy where they're
47. 1:47fighting for mid like that you can see
48. 1:49there that Frozen was lower in tunnels.
49. 1:51They could have two one to two players
50. 1:53on short and then they could have like a
51. 1:54mid player throwing flashes and then all
52. 1:57of these CTs are peaking mid all
53. 1:59together. So, this strategy, hopefully,
54. 2:02is going to counter that strategy set or
55. 2:05CT setup. My Discord seen this tactic in
