- 0:00in this video we'll be taking a look at
- 0:02how to upload an assignment from your
- 0:03computer or from your one
- 0:06drive there are two ways to upload an
- 0:08assignment when an assignment is due
- 0:10within the next 10 to 21 days you'll
- 0:13find it listed under upcoming events you
- 0:16can click on the assignment name which
- 0:18will open up a dialogue box summarizing
- 0:20the assignment from here you can click
- 0:22on the add submission Button as pictured
- 0:25on screen to go directly to the upload
- 0:27page that's the first method to arrive
- 0:30at the assignment upload page for the
- 0:32second method click on my modules and
- 0:35then find the module you want to go to
- 0:37click on the module and scroll down
- 0:39until you see the assignment information
- 0:41section which lists all the assignments
- 0:44click on the assignment you want to
- 0:45upload to and then click on the add
- 0:47submission button this will bring you to
- 0:50the same upload page that the shortcut
- 0:52on the dashboard outlined earlier brings
- 0:54you to regardless of how you choose to
- 0:56access the upload page the process for
- 0:58submission is the same once you there
- 1:00first click on the acceptance for the
- 1:02submission statement then scroll down
- 1:05until you see the file submission box
- 1:07click on it and from here you have two
- 1:09options to upload your file firstly you
- 1:11can upload the file directly from your
- 1:13computer or you can add the file from
- 1:15your one drive let's take each of these
- 1:17options in turn in order to upload from
- 1:19your computer make sure that upload a
- 1:21file is selected if it's selected it'll
- 1:23be highlighted in blue like in the
- 1:25example on screen then click on choose
- 1:27file this will open up a dialogue box
- 1:29from which you can select the file you
- 1:31want to upload on your computer navigate
- 1:33to wherever the file is located on your
- 1:35computer click on it and then click on
- 1:38open you'll be able to visually check
- 1:40that the file has been selected because
- 1:42the name of the file will be partially
- 1:44listed underneath the word attachment at
- 1:47this point you can click on upload this
- 1:48file and then save changes to submit the
- 1:50file however I did also say that we were
- 1:52going to demonstrate how to upload the
- 1:54file from your one drive so if you want
- 1:56to upload using this method instead
- 1:58here's how you do it instead of clicking
- 2:00on upload a file from the file picker
- 2:03click on Office 365 one drive it'll be
- 2:06highlighted in blue to show that you've
- 2:07selected it from here you'll be able to
- 2:09access your one drive and then you can
- 2:11navigate to wherever your file is
- 2:13located within your one drive once you
- 2:15found your file click on it and then
- 2:17click on select this file again you can
- 2:20visually verify that your file has been
- 2:21uploaded because you'll see it listed
- 2:23under the file submission box now
- 2:25regardless of which method you choose to
- 2:27upload your file whether it's from your
- 2:28computer or from your one drive Drive
- 2:30once you see it here in the file
- 2:31submission box just click on Save
- 2:34changes to complete the upload once you
- 2:36see this screen the submission status
- 2:38screen you'll know that you've
- 2:39successfully uploaded your file this
- 2:41screen shows the date and time you
- 2:43uploaded your file at it also shows the
- 2:45file document itself you'll also be able
- 2:47to verify that your assignment has been
- 2:49queued for scanning by turn it in it
- 2:52will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes
- 2:54for the turn it in scan to complete and
- 2:56to be available so you'll need to
- 2:57refresh the page or come back later in
- 2:59order to review that please see the
- 3:01material in the tech support section of
- 3:02the LMS for further information on
- 3:04reading and understanding your turn it
- 3:06in report you'll also find additional
- 3:08videos that show you how to do things
- 3:09such as replace an existing assignment
- 3:12or add more than one assignment
