  1. 0:00I monetized this channel here in 1, 2,
  2. 0:043, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 days and with only two
  3. 0:08videos uploaded. This video here, which
  4. 0:10had 7.4 million views, as you can see,
  5. 0:12started with very few views and then
  6. 0:14began to take off with the strategy I'm
  7. 0:16going to show you today, and we got
  8. 0:18482,000 views, and this other one with
  9. 0:201 million impressions where we got
  10. 0:2254,000 views. And I’m not only going
  11. 0:23to explain how to reach the two
  12. 0:24requirements to monetize a new channel,
  13. 0:26but also how to scale it to hundreds of
  14. 0:27thousands of dollars later. The first
  15. 0:29thing we have to keep in mind when
  16. 0:31starting a YouTube channel is what I
  17. 0:33call the warm-up; that is, everything
  18. 0:34you are going to do before the channel
  19. 0:36actually begins, which is a very
  20. 0:38important part that many people don't
  21. 0:40do. These are some very concrete
  22. 0:42measures you will take away from this
  23. 0:43video to do before starting a channel.
  24. 0:45Point number one, regarding the Google
  25. 0:47account, you have two major options
  26. 0:50here. Whether the account is a new
  27. 0:52account or an old account. I will
  28. 0:54explain how to use an old account if
  29. 0:56you have one, and if it's a new one,
  30. 0:58what things you can do to avoid any
  31. 0:59problems. So, let me tell you what
  32. 1:01usually happens when we start with a
  33. 1:03new YouTube account. If you don't do
  34. 1:05this, you start uploading videos, your
  35. 1:07videos constantly get zero impressions,
  36. 1:08and so your channel stays with zero
  37. 1:10impressions and you'll never be able to
  38. 1:12get out of that. Now, the good thing is
  39. 1:14that we can do things to reverse this.
  40. 1:17So, if you are using a new YouTube
  41. 1:19account, what you'll have to do is go
  42. 1:21through a process of what I call
  43. 1:23account warm-up, where the very first
  44. 1:25step will not be to start uploading
  45. 1:27videos, but just to create the YouTube
  46. 1:29channel. That will be the first step,
  47. 1:32creating the channel, and the second
  48. 1:33will be to start watching other
  49. 1:34people's videos in your niche. Now,
  50. 1:37that it be in your niche isn't an
  51. 1:39exclusive requirement; you could do it
  52. 1:40in other different niches, but if you
  53. 1:42do it in your niche, this will help you
  54. 1:44with what we'll see later about how to
  55. 1:45find outliers in that niche. So I
  56. 1:48recommend that you watch videos in your
  57. 1:50niche and, when you watch videos, what
  58. 1:52you're going to do is subscribe, like,
  59. 1:53comment; in other words, act as if you
  60. 1:55were a regular YouTube viewer. That is
  61. 1:58the goal: for YouTube to see you as a
  62. 2:00viewer and not as a content farm that
  63. 2:02just wants to upload videos and make
  64. 2:03money. The third step will be to wait 7
  65. 2:06days just watching videos, just being a
  66. 2:08spectator, that is, doing what I told
  67. 2:11you. You will go 7 days without
  68. 2:13uploading videos and step four will be
  69. 2:15to start uploading videos, and you must
  70. 2:17upload no more than four videos a week
  71. 2:19because if you start uploading a video
  72. 2:22every day, YouTube will see you as a
  73. 2:24content farm. All of this is if you
  74. 2:26have a new Google account. Right? Now,
  75. 2:28if you have an old account, it is
  76. 2:30better to use the old account and I
  77. 2:31will teach you exactly how to use it.
  78. 2:33The key is to use an old account, but
  79. 2:36create a channel on that old account
  80. 2:39that is 100%new. Why? Because if you
  81. 2:42start on an old account but with an old
  82. 2:44channel, this channel already has an
  83. 2:46audience. And since it already has an
  84. 2:48audience in that niche, when you put
  85. 2:49content from another niche into it, two
  86. 2:51things will happen to that audience. It
  87. 2:53will have poor retention and a low CTR,
  88. 2:56which will cause your videos to die
  89. 2:58completely. So, the key is for the
  90. 3:00Google account to be old, but the
  91. 3:01channel to be new. Now, what do we call
  92. 3:03an old account? Well, at least one that
  93. 3:06is a year old or more. Once you see if
  94. 3:08you're going to use the old account or
  95. 3:09the new one, here is exactly what you
  96. 3:10need to do. Step two of the warm-up,
  97. 3:12that is, before you start uploading
  98. 3:14content, has to do with the channel's
  99. 3:16niche. And here there is a problem,
  100. 3:19because many people think that a niche
  101. 3:21is a topic when that is completely
  102. 3:23incorrect, because a niche is a market
  103. 3:25plus format equation. The market is
  104. 3:29basically who I am targeting, that is,
  105. 3:30what type of person I am addressing,
  106. 3:32and the format is how I address that
  107. 3:34person. And I know it seems silly, but
  108. 3:37it really isn't, because when you
  109. 3:38manage to understand the market plus
  110. 3:40format equation well, you will not only
  111. 3:42be able to find many more niches, but
  112. 3:44also create new ones. I'll give you an
  113. 3:45example. The market, for example, could
  114. 3:48be, I don't know, people interested in
  115. 3:50productivity. It is important to
  116. 3:52understand that markets are limited,
  117. 3:54that is, there is a narrow number of
  118. 3:56markets; infinite markets do not exist.
  119. 3:59And formats, on the other hand, are
  120. 4:00also limited, but the combinations of
  121. 4:02market plus format are almost unlimited
  122. 4:04. And that's where the magic is, and
  123. 4:06I'm going to show you how we did it
  124. 4:08with a student. This is a student's
  125. 4:09channel named Alex, which is Invictus,
  126. 4:10the largest productivity channel in the
  127. 4:12Hispanic market. Today, we already sold
  128. 4:14it for over $ 150,000, but what we did
  129. 4:16on this channel is what matters. Notice
  130. 4:18that it's a productivity channel, but
  131. 4:21it uses cartoons from series and movies
  132. 4:24. I mean, you realize that what we did
  133. 4:26was target the productivity market, but
  134. 4:28by changing its format. In other words,
  135. 4:31we mixed a format that worked in a
  136. 4:32completely different niche, which was
  137. 4:34movies and series. Well, we brought
  138. 4:37that format to a completely different
  139. 4:39market. That which we just did is what
  140. 4:42we call the SUAP method, which is the
  141. 4:44key to creating new profitable niches.
  142. 4:47For example, let's imagine we want to
  143. 4:48enter the dog niche, which is a niche
  144. 4:50that is completely overdone, right?
  145. 4:52Most people in the dog market upload
  146. 4:54videos of the most adorable dogs or the
  147. 4:57most adorable cats. Well, perfect,
  148. 4:59let's enter that market. Now, the
  149. 5:01question would be, with what format can
  150. 5:03I innovate? And an answer could be, for
  151. 5:05example, I don't know, let's make a dog
  152. 5:08channel, but with a documentary format,
  153. 5:11right? So, I introduce a format that
  154. 5:12has nothing to do with the top 10
  155. 5:14format done in dogs, with a documentary
  156. 5:16format. Well, that is exactly what we
  157. 5:18did with a student and look at the
  158. 5:19result, this channel here, The Dog
  159. 5:21Inspector, which belongs to one of my
  160. 5:23students, and we only uploaded one
  161. 5:25video to this channel that has 2.5
  162. 5:26million views. The first video we
  163. 5:28uploaded, we later left it because it
  164. 5:30wasn't a very profitable niche in terms
  165. 5:32of RPM, and with that student, whom we
  166. 5:33got along with very well, we had other,
  167. 5:35bigger interests. Yes, but look, 2.5
  168. 5:38million views, a video we uploaded even
  169. 5:402 years ago, and it continues to get
  170. 5:41views today. It gets seven views per
  171. 5:44hour even today. So, notice that the
  172. 5:46swap format, the swap method, works.
  173. 5:48The key is to do it. Once you have the
  174. 5:51niche, the third step is to find
  175. 5:52reference channels, that is, who am I
  176. 5:54going to be inspired by. But here, it
  177. 5:57is important not to copy the reference
  178. 5:59channels. Everyone telling you that you
  179. 6:01have to copy is full of it. Basically,
  180. 6:02uh, copying a channel—why would they
  181. 6:04watch you if there’s already another
  182. 6:06channel doing it? It doesn’t make any
  183. 6:07sense. So, I’m going to teach you how
  184. 6:09not to copy, but how to be strongly
  185. 6:10inspired by your reference channels so
  186. 6:12you can do well. And for this, I’m
  187. 6:14going to take an example of a channel
  188. 6:15we all know, which is Los Ecomonos.
  189. 6:17It’s a channel that is doing very
  190. 6:19well, it’s earning more than $ 10,000
  191. 6:20a month with this. And I’m going to
  192. 6:21show you what the difference is between
  193. 6:23copying and doing it right. Right? So,
  194. 6:25let's take, for example, I don't know,
  195. 6:27one of these videos here, for instance,
  196. 6:30this one here, right? The deception:
  197. 6:32cash versus credit. If we analyze this
  198. 6:34video here, we can see different things
  199. 6:36, right? Credit card versus cash,
  200. 6:38explained with bananas, right? So, what
  201. 6:41would a person who doesn't know this
  202. 6:43method and simply copies do? They would
  203. 6:45make a video called credit card versus
  204. 6:47cash and put a thumbnail they think
  205. 6:49looks good. That is literally going to
  206. 6:52lead you to ruin. Why is it going to
  207. 6:53lead you to ruin? Because you are
  208. 6:54copying the part of the video that is
  209. 6:56boring. The key is to deeply understand
  210. 6:58why this video worked, which is what we
  211. 7:00are going to analyze now. Hey, I’m
  212. 7:03interrupting this video for a second
  213. 7:04because in the first few days of next
  214. 7:06month, I’ll be giving a free live
  215. 7:07class explaining step-by-step how to
  216. 7:09start a channel from scratch and take
  217. 7:11it to $ 5,000 a month. So if you want
  218. 7:13to sign up to learn my complete
  219. 7:14methodology from 0 to 100, there is a
  220. 7:16link in the description to do so. We
  221. 7:18will be live for 2 hours, explaining my
  222. 7:20system's step-by-step in depth with
  223. 7:21strategies I’ve never revealed.
  224. 7:23Publicly. Sign up below, and now we
  225. 7:25continue with the video. Notice that
  226. 7:26the interesting part of the video isn't
  227. 7:28credit card versus cash, because if I
  228. 7:30made a video for you about whether
  229. 7:31it’s better to use a credit card or
  230. 7:33use cash, probably no one would click.
  231. 7:36What’s interesting is this word here,
  232. 7:38"the deception," because here what
  233. 7:39you’re suggesting is that one of the
  234. 7:41two options—we don’t know which—
  235. 7:43is a scam. And that is what makes the
  236. 7:46video interesting and what made 314,000
  237. 7:48people click on it. In fact, if we
  238. 7:51analyze the Los Ecomonos channel in
  239. 7:52depth, you’ll see that this is a
  240. 7:54pattern, because there are two levels
  241. 7:56of copying. You can copy video ideas,
  242. 7:58which is a terrible idea; you can
  243. 8:00understand why those video ideas work,
  244. 8:02which is fine; or you can understand
  245. 8:03why the pattern worked, which is the
  246. 8:05best thing you can do and the key to
  247. 8:07your success. Now we are going to look
  248. 8:08at that exact pattern. If we scroll
  249. 8:10down a bit further within the same
  250. 8:12channel, "Los Ecomonos," notice that
  251. 8:14another very similar video appears
  252. 8:15called "Buying a house versus renting."
  253. 8:18"The big lie." So, notice that it is
  254. 8:20the same pattern. If I make a video
  255. 8:22about whether it's better to buy a
  256. 8:23house or rent, it's not that
  257. 8:24interesting. Now, if I tell you there
  258. 8:26is a big lie, the question is: what is
  259. 8:28the lie? Buying a house or renting?
  260. 8:30That is the same pattern. We are
  261. 8:32starting to see a pattern. Let's keep
  262. 8:33going. Look, another video. "Buying a
  263. 8:36car versus leasing, the scam." Notice
  264. 8:39that it is exactly the same. "Buying a
  265. 8:41car versus leasing, the scam." In other
  266. 8:44words, the pattern we are understanding
  267. 8:46is comparing A versus B and putting the
  268. 8:48word "scam" or "lie" in the thumbnail.
  269. 8:52And the viewer asks themselves, well,
  270. 8:53which one is the scam, A or B? So, if
  271. 8:56you are truly smart, you won't copy any
  272. 8:58of these video ideas exactly, because
  273. 9:00that is a terrible idea. What you are
  274. 9:03going to do is copy the pattern of this
  275. 9:06video idea. Let me give you a couple of
  276. 9:08examples, even in different niches. If
  277. 9:11you wanted to do it within the same
  278. 9:13niche, you could put, for example, "
  279. 9:14Stock market investments versus crypto.
  280. 9:16" And in the thumbnail, you put "The
  281. 9:19big scam." That is a banger, it is a
  282. 9:21viral video, it is an outlier, it will
  283. 9:23be an outlier on your channel. Let's
  284. 9:24imagine we want to go to another niche;
  285. 9:26let's imagine we are in a travel niche,
  286. 9:28okay? "Taxi versus Uber, the scam,"
  287. 9:30okay, which one is the scam? Which of
  288. 9:32the two? The format works the same.
  289. 9:34Another one, for example, "Bus versus
  290. 9:37plane.""The big lie," you realize that
  291. 9:39when you understand the pattern of why
  292. 9:41it works, you don't have to copy video
  293. 9:43ideas, because that will hurt you. You
  294. 9:45copy the pattern and you can even take
  295. 9:48it to other markets, you can take it to
  296. 9:50other different topics and you will do
  297. 9:52well, but you have to sit down and
  298. 9:53think for a bit. Now you know the
  299. 9:55strategy. And then comes the part of
  300. 9:57producing the videos. Step four is to
  301. 9:59start making the videos themselves and
  302. 10:01uploading them. To produce the videos,
  303. 10:04I am going to be very clear with you.
  304. 10:07For scripts and thumbnails, using
  305. 10:09artificial intelligence is totally
  306. 10:11allowed. In fact, for scripts, you have
  307. 10:13a video on my channel that I’ll leave
  308. 10:15right here, which talks about how to
  309. 10:16create scripts with Claude, the whole
  310. 10:17system. And for thumbnails, you have a
  311. 10:20full video showing how I build the
  312. 10:22perfect prompts for thumbnails, which
  313. 10:24I’ll also leave up there for you. I
  314. 10:26use a site called Pexels, but even if
  315. 10:27you write a good prompt, you can do it
  316. 10:29with ChatGPT. The key is in the prompt
  317. 10:32you write, and the key to scripts isn't
  318. 10:35the AI you use—though Claude is very
  319. 10:37good—but the script system you have
  320. 10:39behind it. I repeat, you have videos on
  321. 10:42that 100%free on my channel. And let's
  322. 10:44talk about the controversial part.
  323. 10:45Editing, we all know this has to be
  324. 10:47human. "Nico, no, but I have a little
  325. 10:49friend who has a channel that got
  326. 10:50monetized." Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. We
  327. 10:52all have exceptions, but the rule is
  328. 10:54that the editing must be human to avoid
  329. 10:56getting demonetized, because there's no
  330. 10:57point in monetizing a channel in a few
  331. 10:59days only to have that monetization
  332. 11:01rejected later. And the voiceover also
  333. 11:04has to be human. Everyone here asks me,
  334. 11:07"Nico, but can I use ElevenLabs?" No. "
  335. 11:09Nico, but can't I clone my voice with
  336. 11:11ElevenLabs?" No, because there is
  337. 11:14something called SynthID, which is
  338. 11:16basically a hidden watermark that
  339. 11:18ElevenLabs puts on every one of its
  340. 11:20voiceovers, and YouTube detects it, so
  341. 11:22when it detects it, it will demonetize
  342. 11:24you. Obviously, there are a couple of
  343. 11:27exceptions of channels that are
  344. 11:28monetized with ElevenLabs. Yes, there
  345. 11:30are a couple of exceptions, but on the
  346. 11:32other hand, I want to tell you that the
  347. 11:34voiceover is the easiest part, which
  348. 11:36you can do in 2 minutes. I mean, you
  349. 11:38literally grab your phone and in 2
  350. 11:40minutes you have a voiceover done, or
  351. 11:42you pay someone $ 5 to do it. The other
  352. 11:44parts are much more complicated to
  353. 11:46delegate. The voiceover is the easiest,
  354. 11:48and I recommend you take advantage of
  355. 11:50it because if you have a human
  356. 11:52voiceover, your channel will never be
  357. 11:54demonetized. And I say this from
  358. 11:55experience; I have over 2,500
  359. 11:57successful students, and I have never
  360. 11:59had a channel demonetized, nor have any
  361. 12:01of my students. Do you know why? It’s
  362. 12:03because we do things this way. Once you
  363. 12:07start having videos here, the key is
  364. 12:09that you can upload at least 10 to 12
  365. 12:10videos to the channel. Obviously, if
  366. 12:12you do things right, you can do it like
  367. 12:14me, where I had it monetized in two
  368. 12:16days, but I want you to upload 10 to 12
  369. 12:18videos to start getting data on that
  370. 12:19channel. Now, when should you upload?
  371. 12:21That brings me to the next step, which
  372. 12:23is optimization. Here the important
  373. 12:25thing is that the videos share similar
  374. 12:27metadata. I've already explained it in
  375. 12:29many videos, but metadata is basically
  376. 12:31everything from the title, description,
  377. 12:33tags, script, and thumbnail of your
  378. 12:34video. And what many people do, which
  379. 12:36is completely wrong, is to upload
  380. 12:37videos that have nothing to do with
  381. 12:39each other. And what that does is that
  382. 12:40when one video takes off, it doesn't
  383. 12:42spread views to the rest. Instead, what
  384. 12:44you have to do is make videos that are
  385. 12:45related to each other, that share
  386. 12:47metadata, for example, that share a
  387. 12:48keyword in the title or description or
  388. 12:50in the script, or that the thumbnails
  389. 12:52are related. This way, when a video
  390. 12:54starts to get views, several things
  391. 12:56will happen. First of all, through
  392. 12:59YouTube's own suggested videos, YouTube
  393. 13:01will suggest the new video you uploaded
  394. 13:02next to your current video. So, if this
  395. 13:05video has 500,000 views, that will
  396. 13:07cause this other video to also have,
  397. 13:09for example, 200,000 views. And that is
  398. 13:11exactly what the channel "Los Ecomonos"
  399. 13:12does. Why do you think all their videos
  400. 13:14have so many views? Because all the
  401. 13:16videos talk about very similar topics
  402. 13:18and all share similar metadata. That's
  403. 13:20why all their videos are over 100,000
  404. 13:21views. Also, it's not just the
  405. 13:23suggested videos. If you make videos
  406. 13:25related to each other, at the end of
  407. 13:26your video on the end screen, you can
  408. 13:28recommend another video, which is
  409. 13:29exactly what we did with Alex in this
  410. 13:31video. This video was called "How to
  411. 13:34study effectively using this secret
  412. 13:35technique." It had 692,000 views. What
  413. 13:38did we do? We attached a video to the
  414. 13:40end screen, which was a way to study
  415. 13:42effectively with the Pomodoro method.
  416. 13:44This video on the end screen is linked
  417. 13:47to the other one and it has 523,000
  418. 13:49views thanks to this. All in all,
  419. 13:51notice that we doubled the number of
  420. 13:52views we would have had, which meant we
  421. 13:54doubled the amount of income we had.
  422. 13:56And also, what we did was increase the
  423. 13:58session time for this first video,
  424. 14:00which I also have a video talking about
  425. 14:02session time; but, basically, session
  426. 14:04time is what happens when people watch
  427. 14:06your video and everything that happens
  428. 14:08afterwards. And the higher your session
  429. 14:10time is, the more YouTube will
  430. 14:12recommend you, the more views you will
  431. 14:13get, and the better you will do on the
  432. 14:15platform. So, not only does it
  433. 14:18literally double the amount of money
  434. 14:19you are going to earn, but it also
  435. 14:20increases your session time, which
  436. 14:22multiplies the amount of money you are
  437. 14:23going to earn infinitely. And then the
  438. 14:26next step is to analyze the results.
  439. 14:28And to analyze results, I have a full
  440. 14:30video talking about how to analyze them
  441. 14:32, which I'll leave for you at the top
  442. 14:34if you want to watch it, but basically,
  443. 14:36what you definitely have to focus on is
  444. 14:38the word "repeat." What works must be
  445. 14:41repeated, done over and over again. For
  446. 14:44example, with Alex, we did exactly that
  447. 14:45. We saw that the video that performed
  448. 14:47best for us was how to learn any skill
  449. 14:49easily with ChatGPT. 880,000 views on
  450. 14:52this video. What did we do? We made a
  451. 14:54video talking about the same idea,
  452. 14:57right? How to learn any language easily
  453. 14:59with ChatGPT. Do you see it? Pattern
  454. 15:02one is how to learn X with ChatGPT.
  455. 15:04Here we put any skill and how to learn
  456. 15:06X, any language, with ChatGPT. And
  457. 15:08notice that these are videos that hit.
  458. 15:10Here too, how to study effectively,
  459. 15:12692,000 views. We saw it worked, we
  460. 15:15made another, how to study mathematics
  461. 15:17correctly, 110,000 views. Here look,
  462. 15:19one about Pomodoro that worked, 523,000
  463. 15:21views; we made another about Pomodoro
  464. 15:23that worked with 55,000 views. The key
  465. 15:25is to repeat what works. If you do all
  466. 15:27this correctly, not only will you be
  467. 15:29able to monetize your channel, but you
  468. 15:30will be able to scale the channel to
  469. 15:32numbers like these. This channel, for
  470. 15:34example, has 71 million views and has
  471. 15:36generated 242,000 euros or dollars
  472. 15:38since it has been active, or for
  473. 15:40example this other channel that is
  474. 15:42moving at a rate of about $ 3,000 a day
  475. 15:44. So, all this is just the basics; but
  476. 15:47if you want to see the really advanced
  477. 15:48strategies I use with my students, you
  478. 15:50are in luck, because the first few days
  479. 15:52of next month I will be giving a live
  480. 15:54class directly with me, 100%free, where
  481. 15:55I will be spending 2 intensive hours
  482. 15:57explaining my step-by-step method.
  483. 15:59These are strategies I’ve never
  484. 16:01revealed publicly online for free, so
  485. 16:03if you want to see them, click the link
  486. 16:06in the description or the first pinned
  487. 16:08comment to register for that class 100%
  488. 16:10for free. Over 8,000 people have
  489. 16:12already gone through similar classes
  490. 16:14we've held before, and many of them are
  491. 16:16already making over $ 1,000 a month by
  492. 16:17applying only what we covered in the
  493. 16:19class. Since this doesn't happen very
  494. 16:21often, if I were you, I wouldn't miss
  495. 16:22out on this opportunity. Sign up for
  496. 16:23the class and I'll see you there.
