3. 0:06the first hour of entrapment that i
4. 0:08would have to cut my arm off except i
5. 0:10couldn't figure out how to do it
6. 0:13by the final night that i was there i
7. 0:15was pretty sure that i was gonna i was
8. 0:16gonna die
9. 0:18i was certain of that by the first the
10. 0:21first time i even turned the camera on
11. 0:2224 hours into it i was gonna die i
12. 0:24couldn't cut my arm off i would either
13. 0:26bleed to death before i could get the
14. 0:28medical help and then i realize the
15. 0:29knife isn't sharp enough to get through
16. 0:31the skin and then it doesn't show up
17. 0:33enough to get through the bone there's
18. 0:34the the vision as i had of the little
19. 0:37boy who comes running over to me as i
20. 0:39walk i saw this
21. 0:41kind of a dreamlike
22. 0:43moment of the sixth day the fifth night
23. 0:46that i was there that it was
24. 0:48it was dark in the canyon but i saw
25. 0:50myself leave and go into a living room
26. 0:52and here i scoop up this little blonde
27. 0:53hair boy
28. 0:54and as i know this is my future son
29. 0:58i'm looking at me straight in the eyes
30. 0:59then it was the epiphany of realizing
31. 1:01that i could break
32. 1:03the bones of my arm i didn't have to cut
33. 1:05through them with a knife i could break
34. 1:06them and from that point it was just
35. 1:09this smile still today i look at it and
36. 1:11i wouldn't change anything
37. 1:13that
38. 1:14wouldn't take a sharper knife wouldn't
39. 1:16have a jacket it wouldn't take more
40. 1:17water like i just it had to happen the
41. 1:19way that it happened to me it's all been
42. 1:21a blessing what the gift of it is is
43. 1:23that it it draws me out of my my daily
44. 1:27experience into a place of appreciation
45. 1:29and gratitude
