  1. 0:00Can't wait to see that story. First
  2. 0:02though, Lance Armstrong called himself
  3. 0:04arrogant and a jerk as he finally
  4. 0:07admitted using performance-enhancing
  5. 0:09drugs to win seven to France titles.
  6. 0:12After more than a decade of defiant and
  7. 0:15angry and denials full of venom,
  8. 0:18Armstrong confessed to Oprah as she
  9. 0:20fired off a string of tough questions.
  10. 0:24Did you ever take banned substances to
  11. 0:26enhance your cycling performance? Yes.
  12. 0:31Yes or no? Was one of those banned
  13. 0:33substances EPO? Yes.
  14. 0:37Did you ever blood dope or use blood
  15. 0:39transfusions to enhance your cycling
  16. 0:41performance? Yes.
  17. 0:44Did you ever use any other band
  18. 0:46substances like
  19. 0:48testosterone, cortisone, or human growth
  20. 0:50hormone? Yes.
  21. 0:54Yes or no? In all seven of your tour to
  22. 0:58France victories, did you ever take
  23. 1:01banned substances or blood dope? Yes.
  24. 1:05In your opinion, was it humanly possible
  25. 1:08to win the tour to France without doping
  26. 1:12seven times in a row?
  27. 1:15Not in my opinion.
  28. 1:17Wow. She ticked off questions and it was
  29. 1:19yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Lance Armstrong
  30. 1:22called us to open cover up one big lie.
  31. 1:24And Carlos, when Oprah asked him if he
  32. 1:26felt like he was cheating at the time,
  33. 1:28Armstrong uh said no. No. Armstrong said
  34. 1:32cheating is defined as gaining an
  35. 1:34advantage on a rival. So that's why he
  36. 1:36says he it was basically leveling the
  37. 1:38playing field. But why did he admit to
  38. 1:41doping now?
  39. 1:44That's the best question. That's the
  40. 1:46most logical question. Mhm.
  41. 1:49Um I don't know that I have a great
  42. 1:52answer. I will start my answer by saying
  43. 1:55that uh this is too late. It's too late
  44. 1:59for
  45. 2:01um probably most
  46. 2:04people and uh that's my fault. I view
  47. 2:08this situation as um one big lie. One
  48. 2:14big lie. Right now, the LivStrong
  49. 2:15Foundation that Armstrong founded but
  50. 2:17has since resigned from issued a
  51. 2:19statement in part saying, "We at
  52. 2:20Livestrong and the foundation are
  53. 2:22disappointed by the news that Lance
  54. 2:24Armstrong misled people during and after
  55. 2:26his cycling career, including us." Now,
  56. 2:28coming up, Robin, we'll have the one
  57. 2:31thing that Armstrong did not want to
  58. 2:33talk about. And one of Armstrong's
  59. 2:35accusers, you got to hear this, goes off
  60. 2:37on him right here. This is a guy who
  61. 2:40used to be my friend who decimated me.
  62. 2:43He could have come clean. He owed it to
  63. 2:47me.
