3. 0:1117. i'm about to share with you a clip
4. 0:14of nabil and paul's
5. 0:16arrests
6. 0:18we've been saying all along that nabeel
7. 0:20was having a peaceful conversation with
8. 0:23muslims on a public street and that paul
9. 0:26and i were standing there recording when
10. 0:28we were approached by police officers
11. 0:31and arrested
12. 0:32in response
13. 0:34people from local christian groups to
14. 0:38the police department all the way up to
15. 0:40the mayor have said that we were
16. 0:43inciting the crowd that we were
17. 0:44harassing people that we were screaming
18. 0:48at muslims and that we were even trying
19. 0:51to get arrested
20. 0:52uh allow me to read two excerpts from
21. 0:55the police report concerning our arrests
22. 0:59as a result of qureshi screaming into
23. 1:01the crowd while uniformed officers were
24. 1:03present and the fact that the crowd had
25. 1:05increased in numbers and agitation all
26. 1:08three were handcuffed and escorted to
27. 1:10the police command post in an attempt to
28. 1:11gain control of the situation and avoid
29. 1:14a possible riotous crowd
30. 1:17nagin mael nabil qureshi david wood and
31. 1:19paul rezkela's actions caused a crowd to
32. 1:21gather and become agitated the weather
33. 1:24conditions hot and humid temperatures
34. 1:26fueled an already agitated crowd this
35. 1:28was evident by the crowds yelling
36. 1:30profanities and repeated calls to
37. 1:32security and police on the behavior of
38. 1:34miele qureshi wood and rascala
39. 1:37when uniformed officers were present
40. 1:38qureshi was yelling into the crowd
41. 1:40further inciting the crowd
42. 1:43so
43. 1:44that's the dearborn police department's
44. 1:46version of events nabil was screaming at
45. 1:49the crowd of muslims a riot was about to
46. 1:51start and just in the nick of time
47. 1:53police intervened by arresting us for
48. 1:56our illegal activities
49. 1:59it's an interesting story but the
50. 2:00dearborn pd made one fatal mistake in
51. 2:03all of this
52. 2:05they gave us back our video cameras
53. 2:06without erasing the footage
54. 2:09now let's see what really happened

67. 7:07sharing his views with a group of
68. 7:08muslims who are asking him questions
69. 7:11paul and i were standing there recording
70. 7:13if you were watching closely you might
71. 7:14even even see me in the background
72. 7:16getting arrested by the way if you are
73. 7:19interested in a timeline negine was
74. 7:21arrested about 15 minutes before
75. 7:25the rest of us
76. 7:27was nabil screaming at anyone no
77. 7:30was there a crowd about to riot no
78. 7:33well why exactly were we arrested
79. 7:38the dearborn police department is
80. 7:39obviously lying in an effort to justify
81. 7:43their repeated violations
82. 7:45of our constitutional rights my friends
83. 7:48do you see what's going on in dearborn
84. 7:50if you're a christian and you think that
85. 7:52the constitution actually applies to you
86. 7:54in that city they're going to harass you
87. 7:56they're going to conspire against you
88. 7:59they're going to lie about you they'll
89. 8:01get the mayor to come out against you
90. 8:02even other christians
91. 8:04will attack you
92. 8:07what's going on
93. 8:09are we
94. 8:11as american citizens
95. 8:12going to stand for this
96. 8:15think about it the only reason the only
97. 8:16reason we're able to expose what's going
98. 8:18on is that we have video cameras what
99. 8:20happens when you're in dearborn
100. 8:22and the police department and the mayor
101. 8:24decide to violate your rights and you
102. 8:26don't have video cameras
103. 8:28when people like this are in power no
104. 8:30one is safe
105. 8:32and so i invite every american citizen
106. 8:35christian or non-christian to contact
107. 8:37your local politicians and to contact
108. 8:39the police department
109. 8:41and the mayor's office and tell them
110. 8:43what you think
111. 8:45of their actions
112. 8:47and of the fact
113. 8:48that we're still going to court over
114. 8:50this we have to face trial
115. 8:52we cannot allow this my fellow americans
