- 0:00what do you say to a person that you
- 0:02know is going to they depth normally we
- 0:08would just say or hang in there keep
- 0:11your hope up because there is hope until
- 0:14their very last second like yes same
- 0:33thing to take my life for me
- 0:35it just didn't take me from
- 0:55the next morning you most definitely
- 0:57could tale execution took place because
- 0:59you could smell his flesh burning oh
- 1:02that smell stay linger for at least two
- 1:07days and it like he get up in your
- 1:08Nasser and you can't get it out so it
- 1:13was just the hardest feeling you could
- 1:16imagine being that close to there or the
- 1:20death chain we would be on the boss and
- 1:25that was the sound and let the person
- 1:27know that we was with him unto the very
- 1:29end because we didn't know whether he
- 1:31had family or friends that are in his
- 1:35support so since we are was effeminate
- 1:39we just we let him know through being
- 1:42and banging that we was just willing hi
- 1:45it's a tragic day too
- 1:47because mr. hidden has spent 30 years
- 1:48locked in a five by eight cell where the
- 1:51state of Alabama tried to kill him every
- 1:53day for 30 years and only thing I want
- 1:55to do is just celebrate how wonderful it
- 1:57is that this man finally has his freedom
- 1:59back what has been the biggest believe
- 2:09we're not just being free he asked to
- 2:14this day I still someone can't believe
- 2:19it
- 2:20you around a whole bunch of people that
- 2:23you don't know you find yourself are
- 2:29staring at people thinking that they
- 2:31might be staying that you are so it's
- 2:34it's just minutes are trying to get back
- 2:38used to being around people other than
- 2:41the guys that I've been around for
- 2:42thirty years
- 2:44but all of us that say that we believe
- 2:47in justice this is the case to start
- 2:49shopping because I shouldn't sit on
- 2:52death row 30 years all they had to do
- 2:54was test the glow but when you think you
- 2:57hide and mighty and you above the law
- 2:59you don't have to answer to nobody but I
- 3:02got news for everybody that played upon
- 3:04seeing them into death row
- 3:06you realize to go it's all I ever see my
- 3:08favorite verse was mark 11:24 for and
- 3:12say for what thing soever you desire
- 3:14when you pray believe in them and you
- 3:17shall have them
- 3:18you don't say that I think about it I
- 3:21considered you have to do this in order
- 3:23for me it said whatever things you
- 3:25desire when you pray and so that was the
- 3:29key to me when I come across the
- 3:31inscription I was taught by my mother
- 3:33that God can do everything but fail and
- 3:36so believing in God the way I did I knew
- 3:41if I pray that the truth would come out
- 3:45it would come out if he did then my
- 3:48understanding of the scripture then that
- 3:50would make God a life force my life or I
- 3:54breathe fresh air now I feel good about
- 3:57myself I know that I didn't do it and
- 4:01the fact that they didn't care whether
- 4:04they was gonna kill em man that's on
- 4:07their country it's not on mine
