3. 0:04Graves was freed last October after a
4. 0:07wrongful murder conviction in 18 years
5. 0:09on Texas death row today he sat down
6. 0:11with kxan's Dustin Blanchard to talk
7. 0:14about his work so this guy is on top of
8. 0:18the world right now but he is scared a
9. 0:20year ago Anthony graves lived that
10. 0:22moment coming face-to-face with freedom
11. 0:25in a world he didn't recognize just
12. 0:28having a hard time with to take
13. 0:29knowledge you know just a cell phone I
14. 0:32mean cell phone can do so many different
15. 0:34things now he knows better than almost
16. 0:36anyone what michael Morton is going
17. 0:39through till he hugged his mother and he
18. 0:42feel her tears running down his neck
19. 0:43then he couldn't realize that he's home
20. 0:46but for right now you know he probably
21. 0:49still a little scared thinking that it
22. 0:53may be all her dream cause he's dreamed
23. 0:56about it for so many years now reality
24. 0:58has set in for graves he spends his time
25. 1:00counseling others still behind bars he
26. 1:03says the Morton case proves there are
27. 1:05still big problems with the justice
28. 1:08system but if you don't have DNA in your
29. 1:10case it's like no one wants to hear
30. 1:12grave says he's not bitter in fact he
31. 1:15feels blessed his 18 years on death row
32. 1:18gave him purpose now I'm out here live
33. 1:22in my life trying to save life you know
34. 1:25I might hit live in my life trying to
35. 1:28educate people about this injustice
36. 1:30known as the death penalty in our system
37. 1:32graves advice for michael Morton no
38. 1:34matter what you're going through out
