2. 0:01about the incredible rescue of Angela
3. 0:04Hernandez the Portland woman who
4. 0:06survived a week without food after
5. 0:08crashing over a California cliff saw
6. 0:10quite the story our Trevor alt has been
7. 0:12following this since she was first
8. 0:13reported missing in Trevor it sounds
9. 0:15like a combination of some luck and a
10. 0:17whole lot of willpower yeah absolutely
11. 0:19Jennifer I think it's fair to say this
12. 0:21was not the ending to the story that
13. 0:22anyone was expecting
14. 0:23Angela's own family said last week they
15. 0:25believe foul play was involved and
16. 0:27search-and-rescue team said there was no
17. 0:29sign of a crash but then Friday a
18. 0:31miracle a couple was hiking along the
19. 0:33ocean near Big Sur when they spotted
20. 0:35Angela's Jeep and then soon after that
21. 0:37they spotted her it turns out a week
22. 0:39before Angela swerved to avoid an animal
23. 0:42then went tumbling down 250 feet down
24. 0:45that cliffside she suffered a brain
25. 0:47hemorrhage broken ribs broken
26. 0:49collarbones she says she only remembers
27. 0:51waking up still in the Jeep with water
28. 0:53up to her knees she broke out a window
29. 0:55climbed out and then spent a week with
30. 0:58no food screaming for help using her
31. 1:01jeeps radiator hose to gather fresh
32. 1:02water from cliffside moss well she's now
33. 1:05being treated and is expected to make a
34. 1:06full recovery
35. 1:07and this morning Monterey County Sheriff
36. 1:09Steve Bernal was clinical in his
37. 1:11description of the rescue but made sure
38. 1:13it was clear that he was truly impressed
39. 1:15by Angela's survival skills and for her
40. 1:19to survive for seven days on the coast
41. 1:22with waves crashing over you at times
42. 1:24with injuries that she had is amazing
43. 1:28most people in that situation probably
44. 1:30wouldn't have lasted that long but she
45. 1:31was a fighter and and she had the will
46. 1:34to live while Angela is recovering in
47. 1:38the hospital she's sharing her story in
48. 1:40a Facebook post she detailed her week
49. 1:42wandering the beach and how when she
50. 1:43first saw the couple who rescued her she
51. 1:45thought they were a dream she concluded
52. 1:48that post saying after all she's been
53. 1:49through she feels there has to be a
54. 1:51purpose for her and that life is
55. 1:52incredible
