10. 0:21receiving six years well I want to point
11. 0:26out this is only the second violent
12. 0:29criminal across the United States to

15. 0:36City just last month he was convicted
16. 0:38sentenced to 18 months so I hope that
17. 0:42this is marks a new trend in prosecutors
18. 0:45pushing for actual convictions and
19. 0:48sentencing I mean people may remember

25. 1:03misdemeanor conviction and probation

34. 1:28he pled guilty to second-degree assault
35. 1:29the District Attorney's Office in that
36. 1:32County described an expandable metal
37. 1:34baton in a statement from the district
38. 1:37from the District Attorney's Office this
39. 1:39was a powerful strike to the head he
40. 1:40needed 25 staples gashes to his head a
41. 1:43concussion he suffered his lawyers
42. 1:45arguing that this sentence is excessive
43. 1:48to that you say what well there's
44. 1:52actually graphic shocking video of the
45. 1:55attack on this victim this group of
46. 1:58people after beating me moved to another
47. 2:02part of downtown and began rioting and
48. 2:04it was there that they striked
49. 2:05this man on the back of the head with
50. 2:08brutal melee weapons and you could
51. 2:11actually hear the sound of the
52. 2:12impact I am just thankful that this
53. 2:16victim survived I know so Tony is saying
