1. 0:01Andy We are regional management director
2. 0:03for Scotland and I run the Scottish
3. 0:06businesses for GMG group in Scotland.
4. 0:10Our business was acquired in April of
5. 0:142022. So that's just over 4 years ago
6. 0:17now.
7. 0:20Yeah, the support has been fantastic.
8. 0:22What we needed as a small business was
9. 0:25access to firepower and operational
10. 0:28support to be able to execute the
11. 0:32opportunities that we could see that we
12. 0:34had in the market. Um, and that was very
13. 0:36much part of the original proposition to
14. 0:39our business uh when we were looking at
15. 0:42our options four or five years ago. Um,
16. 0:45and JMG Group have proved to be a
17. 0:47fantastic partner in helping us to
18. 0:50deliver that. um and exceed our
19. 0:53expectations of what we could achieve
20. 0:55together.
21. 1:00Yes, absolutely. Um we were at a a point
22. 1:05in time where we needed a partner, we
23. 1:07needed support to get to the next level
24. 1:09that I was confident that we could get
25. 1:11to. uh and JMG, Nick and the team have
26. 1:16been as good as they were and and better
27. 1:18about delivering the the support our
28. 1:20business needed to lift ourselves and
29. 1:24really bring us in as a an integral part
30. 1:26of the group uh to drive that growth for
31. 1:30our business and for the people in our
32. 1:31business. So yeah, that's that has been
33. 1:34fantastic.
34. 1:37This involves leading our Scottish
35. 1:39businesses. Um, and at the moment we are
36. 1:42going through quite considerable
37. 1:44restructuring and planning for what is a
38. 1:47new chapter for us with new investment.
39. 1:50So that's uh very rewarding and also a
40. 1:53lot of granular detail really getting to
41. 1:56know the the various different parts of
42. 1:58the businesses especially those offices
43. 2:00and teams that I wasn't familiar with
44. 2:02before in my previous role. Um, so I
45. 2:05think we're for now bringing everyone
46. 2:08together um and getting a a shared
47. 2:11vision and understanding of what success
48. 2:14will look like for us together over the
49. 2:16next 3 5 years. So that's it in a
50. 2:19nutshell.
51. 2:22favorite part of my role is playing a
52. 2:25part in helping individuals further
53. 2:27their careers with us, building and
54. 2:29delivering value uh along the full
55. 2:32spectrum from our newest recruits
56. 2:34through to bals who have sold the
57. 2:35business to J&G and realized value um
58. 2:39for for them and their family that has
59. 2:40often been built up over generations. So
60. 2:43that that's very rewarding to be a part
61. 2:45of.
62. 2:47I would say if you take pride in your
63. 2:49work and you can deliver for your
64. 2:51clients, then we can deliver for you.
