3. 0:11know this coming monday july 12th is the
4. 0:14first court appearance of the freedom
5. 0:16four and one of the first steps in
6. 0:17defending the constitutional rights of
7. 0:19american citizens against the tyranny of
8. 0:22the dearborn police department
9. 0:24interestingly the open persecution of
10. 0:26christians by chief haddad sharia task
11. 0:28force is expanding the work of act 17 in
12. 0:31dearborn
13. 0:32you see normally we'd only be coming to
14. 0:34your city once per year as part of the
15. 0:36arab festival outreach
16. 0:38but now with a series of criminal and
17. 0:40civil court cases constantly bringing us
18. 0:43back to the area
19. 0:44we've got some awesome opportunities for
20. 0:46regular evangelism in dearborn this is
21. 0:48just bible 101 by the way what man
22. 0:50intends for evil
23. 0:52god can use for good
24. 0:54so
25. 0:56even though the dearborn police
26. 0:57department is trying to harm and
27. 0:59persecute us it's actually good news for
28. 1:01you by muslim friends how's the good
29. 1:03news you wonder

31. 1:07if what you believe is false
32. 1:11do you want to know it
33. 1:13if what you believe is false do you want
34. 1:15to know it or would you rather continue
35. 1:18believing in something that just isn't
36. 1:20true
37. 1:21if you're the sort of person who would
38. 1:23rather believe in something that's false
39. 1:24because it makes your life easier
40. 1:26somehow
41. 1:27there's probably no point in talking to
42. 1:29us
43. 1:30but for those of you who say yes david
44. 1:32if what i believe is false i want to
45. 1:34know it we need to talk my friends
46. 1:37have you ever wondered whether islam is
47. 1:39true have you ever thought to yourself
48. 1:41hey maybe i only believe in islam
49. 1:43because my parents taught me to believe
50. 1:44it in islam
51. 1:46but what if my parents were wrong
52. 1:49if you've ever asked yourself a question
53. 1:50like that

56. 1:54prophet and that the quran is not the
57. 1:56word of god that's easy
58. 1:58but our message isn't just a refutation
59. 2:00of islam we can also prove that jesus is
60. 2:03the divine son of god who died on the
61. 2:05cross for sins and rose from the dead
62. 2:07we can even answer all of those
63. 2:09questions that your leaders tell you to
64. 2:11ask christians in order to supposedly
65. 2:13refute christianity you know what i'm
66. 2:15talking about they tell you to ask your
67. 2:17christian friends where did jesus say i
68. 2:19am god worship me
69. 2:22how many times have you heard that one
70. 2:25would you like an answer
71. 2:28because we'd be happy to answer all of
72. 2:30your objections
73. 2:32think we can
74. 2:35this sunday july 11th at 7 30 p.m
75. 2:38we're going to return to warren avenue
76. 2:40to the area where the festival takes
77. 2:42place we'll be bringing our bibles and
78. 2:44qurans with us
79. 2:46and we're prepared to discuss both
80. 2:48so if anyone would like to challenge our
81. 2:50views or if anyone has questions about
82. 2:52christianity or islam we're happy to
83. 2:54engage in public dialogue
84. 2:57i'll give you fair warning however we
85. 2:59will have video cameras with us it
86. 3:00should be obvious by now that we can't
87. 3:02go anywhere in dearborn without cameras
88. 3:04every time we come to your city people
89. 3:06start saying we did all kinds of things
90. 3:08that we just don't remember doing
91. 3:11and the only way to prove our innocence
92. 3:12is with video footage
93. 3:14now if we talk to you for a few minutes
94. 3:16and we realize that we can trust you and
95. 3:18you don't want the cameras on we can
96. 3:19turn them off
97. 3:21but until we know your intentions we
98. 3:23have to protect ourselves
99. 3:25at this point some of you may be
100. 3:27thinking
101. 3:28david don't you understand that this is
102. 3:29dearborn and that the police department
103. 3:31is under the control of islam don't you
104. 3:33realize that we can snap our fingers and
105. 3:35chief haddad we'll have all of you
106. 3:37arrested even if you've done absolutely
107. 3:40nothing wrong
108. 3:42well it's true that if you want chief
109. 3:44haddad to arrest all of us for trying to
110. 3:46have a peaceful dialogue he'll probably
111. 3:47do it he did it last time
112. 3:49it's also true that if you tell him to
113. 3:50steal our camera equipment he'll
114. 3:52probably do that too he's still got a
115. 3:54couple thousand dollars worth of our
116. 3:55property locked away at stf headquarters
117. 3:58so yes i'll grant that the muslims of
118. 4:01dearborn have an entire police
119. 4:02department in their pocket
120. 4:05but is this really the image of islam
121. 4:08you want the world to see
122. 4:10last year muslim security guards slapped
123. 4:11us around for asking a question about
124. 4:13the quran
125. 4:14this year police arrested us while nabil
126. 4:17was having a peaceful dialogue with
127. 4:18muslims
128. 4:20there are terrorist attacks all over the
129. 4:21news people are starting to learn that
130. 4:23muhammad had sex with a nine-year-old
131. 4:24girl that he allowed his followers to
132. 4:25rape their female captives that muslims
133. 4:27can beat their rebellious wives
134. 4:30islam is getting a bad reputation
135. 4:33you also want islam to be known as the
136. 4:35religion whose followers can't bear to
137. 4:37have their views challenged
138. 4:40now if you if you studied islam you know
139. 4:42that muslims are supposed to subjugate
140. 4:45unbelievers
141. 4:47and establish sharia law through force
142. 4:48if necessary
143. 4:50but you also know that before
144. 4:52you oppress and subjugate unbelievers
145. 4:54you're supposed to invite them to islam
146. 4:56so you invite first and then later on
147. 4:59if they reject your message
148. 5:01you oppress and subjugate them this is
149. 5:03quran 101 surah 16 105 says invite all
150. 5:07to the way of thy lord with wisdom and
151. 5:09beautiful preaching and argue with them
152. 5:11in ways that are best and most gracious
153. 5:14the quran commands you to invite us to
154. 5:16islam and even to argue with us
155. 5:18do you want to obey allah's command in
156. 5:20the quran if so
157. 5:22we'll see you this sunday at 7 30 pm on
158. 5:24warren avenue at the festival area
159. 5:27you can invite us to islam as you're
160. 5:28commanded to do and we'll preach the
161. 5:30gospel to you as we're commanded to do
162. 5:34of course it won't surprise me if no
163. 5:35muslims show up if you don't want to
164. 5:37discuss these issues that's fine as long
165. 5:39as we're able to walk down the street in
166. 5:41dearborn without being physically
167. 5:43assaulted and without being unlawfully
168. 5:45arrested as long as you recognize our
169. 5:47constitutional rights in your city
170. 5:49i'll consider that an amazing step
171. 5:51forward given what i've seen over the
172. 5:53past two years
173. 5:55but i hope to find some muslims in
174. 5:57dearborn who are willing to engage in
175. 5:59rational dialogue
176. 6:01whatever happens though remember this
177. 6:05we're not just fighting for our rights
178. 6:06my muslim friends we're fighting for
179. 6:08your rights as well
180. 6:10if the police department starts
181. 6:11dictating what people get to discuss and
182. 6:13when and where they get to discuss it we
183. 6:15all lose
184. 6:17so even though many of you cheered when
185. 6:19you saw police enforcing sharia law and
186. 6:21hauling us off in handcuffs for being
187. 6:23christians in dearborn
188. 6:24you might want to reconsider your
189. 6:26position
190. 6:27if our rights go out the window
191. 6:29yours could be next
192. 6:32don't let dearborn become the first city
193. 6:34in america
194. 6:35to shred
