AMD vs. INTEL Stock‼️ We Have a BIG SITUATION — Transcript

- 0:00Speaking about companies that are not
- 0:02weak, and that's AMD, right? AMD, so
- 0:05let's talk about this one, $1,000, how
- 0:06do we get there, okay? So, listen. First
- 0:10off,
- 0:11this stock is a long way from $1,000,
- 0:13okay? As of right now, it's 500
- 0:15something, right? But, I actually think
- 0:17there's a decent probability the stock
- 0:18goes to 1,000 within the next 6 months.
- 0:22And so, how does that even happen,
- 0:23right? Like like how how do I even in a
- 0:26thought for First off, am I even going
- 0:27to place any bets on this? Listen.
- 0:30No. No, I'm not going to be like, "Oh,
- 0:32I'm going to go." I already have several
- 0:33million dollars invested in AMD. 0%
- 0:37interest in me going and saying,
- 0:40you know, I'm going to go ahead and um
- 0:42buy short-term call options or something
- 0:44like that, like or invest extra money
- 0:46because I think it's going to go to
- 0:481,000 and, you know, it's got a decent
- 0:50potential to go to 1,000 in the next 6
- 0:51months. No, thank you. I'm good. Thank
- 0:54you very much. But,
- 0:56I think it actually has a decent chance
- 0:58of getting up there. And here's why,
- 1:00okay? And I know that sounds crazy at
- 1:02first cuz it's like it's so far away,
- 1:04right?
- 1:05One, I believe there's going to be
- 1:07another bull run that happens in the
- 1:08semiconductor stocks, right? So, I
- 1:10believe AMD's going to benefit the most
- 1:12from this next bull run, but the death
- 1:15of the all the semiconductor stocks has
- 1:17been greatly exaggerated, okay?
- 1:19These stocks have at least one to three
- 1:23more bull runs before this cycle comes
- 1:26to a conclusion, in my personal opinion.
- 1:29So, what do I mean by cycle coming to a
- 1:31conclusion? I mean we have the last
- 1:34hurrah where it's like, "Okay,
- 1:37the CapEx numbers are going to start
- 1:38slowing down big time,
- 1:40or maybe even going down, right?" That
- 1:43still is two to three years away, okay?
- 1:47And so,
- 1:49in between now and when that day comes,
- 1:52I think we can have minimum one to
- 1:54potentially three more bull cycles in
- 1:57the semiconductors, where those stocks
- 1:59will have major momentum for a 3 to 6
- 2:01month span in just repper rallies where
- 2:04everybody's like, "Whoa, the
- 2:05semiconductor stocks are all hot again,
- 2:07right?" So, I believe the next cycle
- 2:09starts probably November, goes to about
- 2:12April, roughly, right? Now, there's
- 2:14always a risk you could get a you could
- 2:16get a 2018 where the market just
- 2:18downtrends October, November, December,
- 2:20right? Uh that's not my base case, but
- 2:22that is something I'm mentally preparing
- 2:23everybody for just in case it happens.
- 2:25But, the higher probability is that it
- 2:27doesn't happen. And so, since that's the
- 2:29higher probability, market probably
- 2:30rolls November, December in into Q1, at
- 2:33least when it comes to semiconductors.
- 2:35Remember, we're going to get everybody's
- 2:36CapEx numbers. These companies
- 2:38are spending everything they got coming
- 2:40in, plus taking out debt, issuing
- 2:42capital.
- 2:43They got the money, at least in the
- 2:45short term. I don't know if they got the
- 2:46money to They're not going to have the
- 2:47money to keep upping these numbers in a
- 2:49crazy way
- 2:512 years from now and 3 years from now,
- 2:52but they certainly got it for at least
- 2:54the next 1 to 2, okay? And so,
- 2:57Anthropic's about to raise a bunch of
- 2:59money. They might raise 100 billion or
- 3:01something like that. They're going to
- 3:02have that around plus what they already
- 3:04have. OpenAI, obviously, is going to
- 3:06probably IPO within the next 6 months.
- 3:08They'll be flushed with money. SpaceX,
- 3:10we know what they're spending. Meta, we
- 3:12know they're spending every dime they
- 3:13got coming in, which that's a lot of
- 3:15money. And they're going to be taking
- 3:16out debt or issuing shares for that. We
- 3:18know that. Amazon spends
- 3:21Amazon makes so much money and they're
- 3:22spending every dime they got coming in,
- 3:24plus more, right? Google's doing the
- 3:26same. Microsoft's doing the same. So,
- 3:29we're still in,
- 3:30you know,
- 3:32the best era to ever be a semiconductor
- 3:34company that's dealing in this space.
- 3:36So, that means Nvidia, AMD, and the
- 3:38memory chip stocks, right? And TSMC
- 3:40certainly benefits as well. So,
- 3:42the moral of the story is we get another
- 3:43bull run. So, that alone will propel AMD
- 3:47substantially. That's the one that
- 3:48benefits the most from the next bull
- 3:50run, okay? Cuz that's the one you really
- 3:52got to be in.
- 3:53Then, we have earnings coming November
- 3:553rd, right?
- 3:57That's the earnings we should get a
- 3:59shock and awe of some kind. Now, a lot
- 4:01of people assume it has to be a revenue
- 4:03shocker and all in regards to last
- 4:05quarter or the future quarter. It
- 4:06doesn't have to be a revenue shocker and
- 4:08all, okay? It can be a margin shocker
- 4:11and all where either their margin for
- 4:12last quarter or the next quarter like
- 4:13the margin guide knocks everybody's
- 4:15socks off either on a gross margin front
- 4:17or like an operating margin front or a
- 4:18net margin front. People are like,
- 4:20"Woah, that's way better way better
- 4:22margins than we thought it was going to
- 4:23be."
- 4:24Uh it could be
- 4:27an earnings per share shocker and all,
- 4:28right? It could be some sort of guidance
- 4:31they put out for next year maybe early
- 4:34um that's like a rough range that
- 4:36everybody's like, "Wait, what? They they
- 4:38just kind of did a rough guide to what?"
- 4:40There's many different shockers and alls
- 4:42you can get, but all you need is one
- 4:45number one metric that everybody says,
- 4:48"Woah, that's way better than we thought
- 4:50it was going to be." You need one thing.
- 4:52If you get multiple, then you are really
- 4:54off to the races, but all you need is
- 4:55one thing.
- 4:57If Lisa Su's got one thing
- 5:00she can say on that conference call
- 5:03or in the report that knocks everybody's
- 5:05socks off and they're like, "Woah, it's
- 5:07way better than we thought." Boom,
- 5:09you're off to the races again, right?
- 5:11And so if you already have a
- 5:13semiconductor bull cycle going on and
- 5:15then you get that on top, that just is
- 5:17like an accelerant, right? Now, let me
- 5:20show you my projections for AMD for the
- 5:21next few years.
- 5:24I don't know if you guys have seen this
- 5:24or not, but under my bull case, my bull
- 5:27case is a lower probability to happen. I
- 5:30have the stock going to $1,000 in 2028,
- 5:32right? Under my base case, I have the
- 5:34stock going to $1,000 in 2030. Now,
- 5:36here's what you got to understand about
- 5:38this. Listen,
- 5:39when we're talking about base case and
- 5:40bull cases, I'm running those
- 5:43with like the stock market being
- 5:45practical, right?
- 5:47The stock market's not practical. Like
- 5:50it's not how it works. The stock market
- 5:53is very impractical. It it it it doesn't
- 5:56work logically. And so these companies
- 5:59will run up the valuation way before
- 6:01they should. We just spoke about
- 6:03Anthropic earlier in this video, did we
- 6:05not? Should Anthropic be at a two
- 6:07trillion something dollar valuation with
- 6:09sixteen billion dollars of revenue and
- 6:11massive losses and crazy spend, right?
- 6:14And let's say even on a revenue run rate
- 6:17of a hundred billion, should they be at
- 6:18a two trillion dollar plus valuation?
- 6:20No, that doesn't make sense. But the
- 6:23stock market front runs things. So, with
- 6:25a stock like AMD,
- 6:27I think that stock should go to a
- 6:29thousand over the next few years.
- 6:31That's not the way the stock market
- 6:32works. It prices in a lot of the future,
- 6:35right? And so, AMD could easily go to a
- 6:37thousand in the next six months or
- 6:39somewhere roughly up toward a thousand,
- 6:41right? And price in a lot of the future
- 6:45growth. And so, that's why even I look
- 6:47at a stock like that and it's like if it
- 6:49goes closer and closer to a thousand,
- 6:51I'll cash shares because that just is
- 6:54like pulling forward a lot of my gains
- 6:56essentially, right? This happens in the
- 6:58stock market all the time.
- 6:59Um
- 7:00Palantir's a good example. Like
- 7:01Palantir's, you know, pulled a lot of
- 7:03gains forward. Like Palantir hit two
- 7:05hundred last year, right? Two hundred
- 7:07plus. And I looked at that stock and I'm
- 7:09like it's pulled a lot of gains forward.
- 7:11Like, you know, um
- 7:13you know, it's pulled a lot of the
- 7:15future gains already. It's already
- 7:17there, right? And I could take you
- 7:19across so many different stocks that
- 7:20that happens. It happens all the time.
- 7:22Look at Tesla. Tesla's been dead money
- 7:24now for five years, right? It the
- 7:26valuation ran up so much in Tesla, it
- 7:28pulled so many gains forward. And now
- 7:31the stock's been dead money for five
- 7:32years now at this point in time, right?
- 7:34And so, um that's just something to kind
- 7:36of keep in mind there. So, you know,
- 7:40AMD's business model probably doesn't
- 7:42peak till
- 7:44uh
- 7:45I don't know, maybe twenty twenty-eight
- 7:47or twenty twenty-nine, but could the
- 7:48stock price peak next year? Sure.
- 7:52That's possible.
- 7:54Like, you know, if AMD goes to a
- 7:56thousand dollars or fifteen hundred
- 7:57dollars next year, that could be a peak,
- 7:59right? Even though the business model
- 8:00doesn't peak for at least another year
- 8:02or two after that or maybe even three
- 8:03years after that. Stocks
- 8:06stocks
- 8:07don't work in a practical manner when it
- 8:09comes to when you think it should be at
- 8:11a valuation, it doesn't work like that,
- 8:13okay? So, actually with semiconductor
- 8:14stocks, man. Semiconductor stocks are
- 8:17woo, they're crazy.
- 8:18>> Hey, I want to thank you so much for
- 8:19watching that clip here today. I hope
- 8:21you really enjoyed that one. What you're
- 8:23looking at right now is 1000xstocks.com.
- 8:261000x does not just show you a billion
- 8:29different metrics that are completely
- 8:30irrelevant. It's curated mandatory
- 8:32metrics, advanced metrics, curated for
- 8:35long-term investors, not for traders.
- 8:39So, you can understand a company on the
- 8:41highest level possible, how it operates,
- 8:43and most importantly, making judgments
- 8:45on whether you want to invest capital
- 8:47into a company or not. Understanding the
- 8:50upside, the downside with companies. Is
- 8:53that company worth our investments or
- 8:55shall we keep our hands away? So, how
- 8:57you can access 1000xstocks.com is you
- 9:00can go to the description area of this
- 9:01video or you can go to 1000xstocks.com
- 9:05apply for access to the service. Uh so,
- 9:07with the Intel move down, listen, you
- 9:09want to know what this is going to mean
- 9:10for for AMD. And by the way,
- 9:13if
- 9:14um you don't follow me on X, you might
- 9:16want to follow me on X. Uh I always have
- 9:17that link in the description area down
- 9:19there of all my videos. I post a lot of
- 9:21stuff and right now it's busy times on
- 9:23X, so you might want to follow me on
- 9:25there if you use that platform. Uh but,
- 9:28what is this what do these Intel
- 9:29earnings mean for
- 9:31>> [clears throat]
- 9:31>> AMD? Listen,
- 9:34it means short-term
- 9:37not a good move, but longer-term
- 9:41um
- 9:42it doesn't mean anything, okay? So,
- 9:44Intel, basically, they're saying, "Hey,
- 9:47you know, PC sales are going to be
- 9:49slower, memory prices are a concern,
- 9:52right?"
- 9:53I mean, AMD is going to be able to sell
- 9:56as
- 9:57much as they possibly can in terms of
- 10:00getting silicon from TSMC. They're going
- 10:02to be able to sell as much as they want
- 10:04for the next several years. I'm talking
- 10:05GPUs and CPUs. So, AMD doesn't have any
- 10:08sort of sales problem
- 10:10in my opinion and we're not going to see
- 10:12a sales problem with AMD. All things are
- 10:14possible but I just don't think it's
- 10:15very realistic. Intel's had issues for a
- 10:18long time. Don't like don't forget like
- 10:21the stock had this insane run. Don't
- 10:23forget this is a bum company.
- 10:26Intel's a bum company.
- 10:28At the end of the day this stock was
- 10:29like
- 10:31at the end of the day I mean this could
- 10:32be arguably a bankrupt company if it
- 10:34wasn't for the government kind of like
- 10:36almost bailing them out, right? This is
- 10:38a junk company. Intel has been on the
- 10:40decline for the longest time. They're
- 10:43getting pulled up just because the whole
- 10:45semiconductor space is so strong but
- 10:46don't let a whole space getting pulled
- 10:49up in the short term cloud you and then
- 10:52make you think like oh this is a good
- 10:54company. This is trash. Intel been
- 10:56trash. AMD's the real deal Holyfield.
- 10:59They're the ones that were was $2 a
- 11:01share and then went to 200, right? And
- 11:05obviously nowadays we know where the
- 11:06stock price is in the 500s. They're the
- 11:08ones that have been taking market share
- 11:10from Intel for the longest, right?
- 11:12They're the only ones that can give
- 11:14Nvidia a run for their money. The only
- 11:16ones in the world. There's no one else
- 11:18in the world. There's no other company
- 11:19in the world that can at least make
- 11:20Nvidia sweat a little bit and be like
- 11:22let's see what they're up to and there's
- 11:23no one even in the world that can get
- 11:25Jensen to speak about them and you know
- 11:29be a little jaded and be like why did
- 11:31they give away part of their company for
- 11:32this deal, you know? There's only one
- 11:34company that can do that. That's AMD.
- 11:36AMD's top tier. Been top tier, right?
- 11:40Intel junk been junk still junk. So you
- 11:43know their results is going to pull AMD
- 11:45down in the very very short term as in
- 11:47probably tomorrow but don't don't assume
- 11:51like oh Intel that this means something
- 11:53for AMD. AMD's the real deal man.
- 11:56Intel's a piece of junk. Has been junk.
- 11:58It's still junk.
- 12:01I don't even want to say no disrespect
- 12:02cuz it's all disrespect. Like that's
- 12:04just a crappy company.
- 12:06I don't know what to say. Like you know
- 12:08the
- 12:08only reason that company got bailed out
- 12:10is because of the government and because
- 12:13of just a ridiculous amount of spending
- 12:16in semiconductors. If it wasn't for
- 12:17that,
- 12:19the company would be BK, man. Google
- 12:21McDougal is this stock a buy? Well,
- 12:24here's the thing, okay?
- 12:26If you're thinking about on a shorter
- 12:28term basis, it's it's actually probably
- 12:30not a buy. If you're thinking once again
- 12:32multi-year, yes, it's a buy, okay? But
- 12:35this chart's about to get a lot scarier
- 12:38and a lot worse. This is Google
- 12:40McDougal's free cash flow, right? Like
- 12:43look at it, it just piled up as the
- 12:44years ticked on, right? And then
- 12:48and it's about to plummet way worse.
- 12:52Like you're you're going to see some
- 12:53crazy negative free cash flow from
- 12:56Google. Like can you imagine a year from
- 12:58now where the free cash flow of Google
- 12:59McDougal's going to be? It's going to be
- 13:02>> [laughter]
- 13:02>> ugly. So we're we're not even at peak
- 13:05ugliness. We're we're still we're still
- 13:07at least probably 18 to 24 months from
- 13:09peak ugliness. And then after that,
- 13:12we'll probably settle out and then
- 13:13hopefully free cash flow will get
- 13:14better. But dude, we're like six to
- 13:16eight quarters before it gets like the
- 13:19worst worst. And so just something to
- 13:21kind of keep in mind there. So Google is
- 13:23a buy if you got a multi-year horizon.
- 13:25If you're just thinking about the short
- 13:27term, it's debatable, right? Very
- 13:29debatable. Okay, let's go ahead and
- 13:31react to Google McDougal.
- 13:32>> It's a rough quarter for the for the
- 13:34Alphabet narrative. The the cloud
- 13:36business was quite strong, it was up
- 13:37103%
- 13:39well ahead of expectations and margins
- 13:41beat expectations. But the weakness was
- 13:43really in the search business. Estimates
- 13:46were for 15% growth, the company did 12.
- 13:49It doesn't explicitly guide to that
- 13:51figure and it had a
- 13:52comp issue where it was lapping
- 13:54accelerated growth from last year. So
- 13:56that's likely a factor, but still it's
- 13:58about a 300 basis point miss in search.
- 14:00And also on that side of the business,
- 14:02margins missed as well. So
- 14:05for those that think there's a longer
- 14:06term threat, you know, relating to AI,
- 14:09this definitely feeds into the narrative
- 14:11and I think that's the issue with the
- 14:12stock.
- 14:12>> Well, let me get a sense though. I mean
- 14:15just hypothetically, once they do get up
- 14:17a little bit more up and running with
- 14:18the guards to Gemini search or whatever
- 14:20we're going to be calling it here, is
- 14:22that does that have the potential to be
- 14:24a product that can bring in not only the
- 14:26same type of growth that search brought
- 14:28and now on the revenue side, but more
- 14:29importantly on the profitability and
- 14:31margin side?
- 14:33>> Sure. I mean, even 12% gross growth on
- 14:36the on the surface is is great growth
- 14:38for the the maturity that that search
- 14:41business is.
- 14:43But, it's an expectations miss and you
- 14:46have these very
- 14:48significant reactions in in the stocks
- 14:51relating to AI, you know, based on AI
- 14:53winner, AI loser at any point in time.
- 14:55>> I I don't think, you know, I think
- 14:56everyone's making a big mistake, okay?
- 14:59Um,
- 14:59I think people are looking at some of
- 15:01these numbers and they're thinking like
- 15:02it's something wrong with the companies.
- 15:03Like, oh, something wrong with Google
- 15:05search, blah blah blah. No. No, no, no,
- 15:07no, no.
- 15:09It's the economy.
- 15:10It's too many companies that are putting
- 15:12up lackluster revenue numbers for it to
- 15:15be company specific. Like, you know,
- 15:17from companies like Decker Outdoors that
- 15:19sells Hoka shoes and Ugg and a bunch of
- 15:21other brands, right? They already had to
- 15:23take down their revenue guide for the
- 15:25year, right? We know what Nike's results
- 15:27have been. We know what Lululemon's
- 15:28results have been, right? Uh, Amazon
- 15:30amazing zone just came in with 2% net
- 15:32product sales growth year over year,
- 15:34right?
- 15:35>> [clears throat]
- 15:35>> Uh, Meta was strong as far as pricing
- 15:38for ads, but, you know,
- 15:40that still wasn't even like when it
- 15:42comes to Meta's overall advertising
- 15:44business, it wasn't like that was
- 15:45something that
- 15:47um shocked people and was like a great
- 15:49number. It was kind of,
- 15:50you know? And then you see Google's
- 15:52search results business here up 12%
- 15:54people are, you know, it's just at the
- 15:56end of the day, I think
- 15:58there's a short-term
- 16:01weakness in the economy, right?
- 16:04Um,
- 16:05and it's as simple as that. It's just
- 16:06too many companies and I I grade a lot
- 16:08of income statements for a lot of
- 16:10obscure companies that we don't talk
- 16:12about on the channel much, right? And uh
- 16:14even with those companies, a lot of
- 16:15their revenues are down year over year,
- 16:17right? So, you know, look at Whirlpool's
- 16:20results. If you want to see weakness,
- 16:22look at Whirlpool's results.
- 16:24Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of companies
- 16:25that have revenue negative on a
- 16:27year-over-year basis. We're not talking
- 16:29positive, right? We're we're we're
- 16:31concerned here about Amazon grew net
- 16:34product sales only 2%, right? Or
- 16:37Google's ad business only grew this
- 16:38much.
- 16:39I could tell you there's a lot of
- 16:40smaller companies right now that
- 16:42revenues are down on a year-over-year
- 16:44basis. Okay? So, yeah.
- 16:47>> I'm So, I do think Alphabet's already
- 16:50been building in AI overviews. Um
- 16:52Gemini, you know, has had very good
- 16:55model updates recently. What I think
- 16:58ends up happening is um
- 17:00the model companies all kind of find it
- 17:02their niche in the world of where
- 17:04they're better than their competitors.
- 17:06Uh the challenge for Alphabet is it used
- 17:08to be the only player um you know, in in
- 17:10terms of searching for information. And
- 17:13now it's one of a few players. And I
- 17:15think that normalization is something
- 17:17that, you know, can be multiple
- 17:18compressing to a company like Alphabet.
- 17:21But I I don't really think this is like
- 17:23a structural issue. I think the growth
- 17:25rate off of these more difficult laps
- 17:27will stabilize around these levels. They
- 17:29in fact said that query volume growth
- 17:31was the fastest that it's been in the
- 17:33quarter um in the past 5 years. So, I'm
- 17:35sure they'll talk about that more in
- 17:37terms of the disconnect in terms of
- 17:38revenue growth versus the query volume
- 17:40growth in the quarter.
- 17:41>> So, Scott, you mentioned it's not a
- 17:43structural issue. But when I look at
- 17:46Meta's ad growth in the quarter, they
- 17:48grew 26%.
- 17:50Clearly, Alphabet is not growing uh you
- 17:52know, same. It's uh it's uh less than
- 17:54half of Meta's growth. And they said uh
- 17:57you know, query growth was the fastest
- 17:59in the last 5 years. So, what do you
- 18:01make of that?
- 18:03>> Right. And and I think Amazon's growth
- 18:05rate tomorrow for advertising will will
- 18:06be uh a good bit higher than than
- 18:09Alphabet's as well.
- 18:10I think that um
- 18:12I think that's what's happening whether
- 18:13it's Meta or the model companies, you
- 18:16know, uh themselves in terms of driving
- 18:19queries to to other um distribution
- 18:22outlets. That Alphabet's, you know, it's
- 18:24normalizing competitively, but what what
- 18:27I think is comforting long term or why
- 18:31that this stock can work over the longer
- 18:33term is because the denominator is so
- 18:36much larger in terms of the number of
- 18:38queries that even though it's not the
- 18:40best player in the market, it's a very
- 18:43satisfactory player. And when you add on
- 18:46top of that the success the company's
- 18:48now having in cloud, you know, you have
- 18:50a business that's
- 18:51growing still 25%
- 18:53with mid-30% margin that now trades
- 18:57under 20 times earnings.
- 18:58>> Do Do you think they are missing an
- 19:00agent like Muse or Instinct here? And
- 19:03what would that do in in terms of, you
- 19:05know, the whole search situation?
- 19:09>> Certainly, they There is the possibility
- 19:11that that Alphabet layers
- 19:14agentic on top of the model. Like I said
- 19:17earlier,
- 19:18>> All right, horses, let me show you guys
- 19:19something very important, okay? Look at
- 19:21this.
- 19:23This is
- 19:24Google Cloud versus Azure versus AWS,
- 19:27right? Now, from the Google Cloud the
- 19:29thing that's a little confusing is I
- 19:30think they put their TPUs in there as
- 19:32well from what I remember. So, just
- 19:35something to factor in there. So, I
- 19:37don't know if it's as clean of a
- 19:40growth rate as maybe the others have.
- 19:41But the moral of the story is here,
- 19:43Google Cloud 103% growth, Azure 48%, AWS
- 19:4739%. So, you know, you look at that and
- 19:50you're like, "Dude, this is the big dog.
- 19:52You got to be in Google Cloud, right?"
- 19:54Google McDougall still couldn't save the
- 19:56stock price, but it is something to
- 19:58factor in there.
- 20:01I mean, the other thing to factor in is
- 20:02AWS is just a really really large
- 20:05business. It's a really large business,
- 20:07much bigger than the other two players,
- 20:09especially than Google Cloud. And so,
- 20:11it's a little easier for Google Cloud to
- 20:13put up bigger growth rates, right?
- 20:16So,
- 20:18something to factor in, but
- 20:20um
- 20:21Google's the one that's really like
- 20:23if want the big growth, you know where
- 20:25to go.
- 20:26That's Google.
- 20:27>> I do think that each one of the players
- 20:29in Tropic of many I meta
- 20:32xai, you know, find their niche in this
- 20:36emerging world, you know, that we've
- 20:38we've headed into and that with
- 20:40alphabet. I think it's more about
- 20:42replacing the static blue link business
- 20:45with the more interactive Gemini
- 20:48interface
- 20:50than it is necessarily being the leading
- 20:52player in agenda commerce, but I'm
- 20:54certainly they sure that they will have
- 20:56a play there.
- 20:57>> Well, I am curious though too when we
- 20:59talk about the future going forward and
- 21:02a couple of interesting headlines
- 21:03crossing the wire Scott one Sundar
- 21:05Pichai basically saying that the company
- 21:08is now running at in his words a half
- 21:10trillion dollar annual run rate, but
- 21:13what I thought was also interesting was
- 21:15their Cloud CEO is on the earnings call
- 21:18for the first time ever and I am curious
- 21:20as to what if at all that actually
- 21:23signals about where Sundar Pichai's head
- 21:25is at.
- 21:28>> Well, if you look at the relative
- 21:29strength of the businesses the cloud
- 21:31business is doing a significantly better
- 21:34than the search business the search
- 21:35business just happens to have been
- 21:37probably the most dominant business
- 21:39model in the world up until the
- 21:41emergence of AI and so I think this
- 21:44company, you know, the center of gravity
- 21:47is shifting a bit more towards Cloud
- 21:49over time as the the driving force of
- 21:52the company and that's you know,
- 21:53represented with the with those that
- 21:56participate in the conference call and I
- 21:58think that's that's the signal right
- 21:59there.
