- 0:00Amazon has just completely changed the
- 0:03rules for how to sell on Amazon for
- 0:052027. I'm kind of freaking out. I'm
- 0:09going to explain the changes they've
- 0:11made, the opportunity that's opening up
- 0:14for both new sellers and those of us
- 0:16who need to adapt quickly to the new
- 0:18way of selling this year and next,
- 0:20especially in 2027, and how to take
- 0:23advantage of all this to build a clear
- 0:25strategy. I'm kind of freaking out. I'm
- 0:28going to go over all of this a bit.
- 0:30I’m going to condense it a lot in
- 0:32this video so you know everything.
- 0:34I’m going to start with the three
- 0:36most important new features that are
- 0:37going to change the way we sell on
- 0:39Amazon. It’s going to be very
- 0:41AI-driven, and we really need to keep
- 0:43this in mind regarding how we optimize
- 0:45everything. I'll cover the three new
- 0:48features and then I'll share a complete
- 0:50strategy that I've written down here—
- 0:51I had to write it down because there's
- 0:53just so much to cover. A complete
- 0:56strategy that needs to be implemented
- 0:58right now if we want to start selling
- 1:00on Amazon, to begin focusing this way,
- 1:02and if we're already selling, to adapt
- 1:04quickly to the strategy. I'll explain
- 1:07the new features and then I'll explain
- 1:09the strategy, right? I'm only going to
- 1:12explain three new features because
- 1:13Amazon has made many announcements,
- 1:15they've announced a lot of things, and
- 1:17I don't want the video to run too long.
- 1:19New feature number one: branded
- 1:21conversations within search results.
- 1:25They have introduced Alexa for shopping
- 1:27, so when you go to search for a
- 1:29product in the search bar, there are
- 1:32two types of search results: the usual
- 1:34results, sorted by relevance, etc., and
- 1:37then the results the AI will provide.
- 1:41If it understands that you are looking
- 1:42for something specific, the AI will
- 1:43recommend things to you. It will be a
- 1:45different type of search result. It
- 1:46will be more conversational, like what
- 1:49happens with ChatGPT or other LLMs. Now
- 1:53, the important thing about Branded
- 1:55Conversations, which launches in
- 1:57January 2027, is that within the search
- 2:00results, when your product appears—
- 2:03for example, if you sell a supplement
- 2:06for, I don’t know, cats—there will
- 2:08be a little button there that says: "
- 2:11Help me decide." Then a conversation
- 2:15with Alexa for shopping will open to
- 2:18help them decide about that product.
- 2:21And here comes a key strategy that
- 2:23I’m going to explain now to help you
- 2:26sell. So people will say, "Hey, help me
- 2:29decide, does this really work for this,
- 2:31or is it comfortable, or what about
- 2:34this or that." And Alexa will say, "But
- 2:36what do you want it for? For this, or
- 2:37this, or this? Then this isn't the one
- 2:39for you, it's this other one." The
- 2:42second of three things: Amazon Ads
- 2:44agent. Advertising through Amazon will
- 2:46be done through an agent you’ll have
- 2:48to write to and converse with. What it
- 2:51will do is ask what you want to achieve
- 2:53, you'll talk to it, it will create the
- 2:55full campaign and get you everywhere.
- 2:58And it won't be based on finer details,
- 3:00but on its own criteria extracted from
- 3:03your listing; meaning, from the product
- 3:05you have, it extracts the information.
- 3:08Now we will see how we’ll have to
- 3:10optimize the listing. So, everything is
- 3:12a bit AI-driven. The AI will interpret
- 3:14what your product offers and what it
- 3:16doesn't. This is super important. And
- 3:18with just a budget you assign, it will
- 3:21put your ad everywhere. It will be on
- 3:24DSP, which was previously available to
- 3:26large advertisers and such, and now it
- 3:28will be available to everyone. You will
- 3:30be able to advertise everywhere. It
- 3:33will be a kind of campaign like the
- 3:35ones we do on Google or Advantage Plus
- 3:37on Meta, where your ad appears
- 3:39everywhere in different formats. Even
- 3:42more, more like Google, because it will
- 3:45appear as Sponsored Products, as
- 3:47Display, as a video, as an image. And
- 3:49Amazon will also create ads for you,
- 3:51elements with AI in video—meaning,
- 3:54from your product it will create a
- 3:56video, create an animation, create
- 3:58photos and such, which will appear in
- 4:00different places so people find them
- 4:02and buy from you. This is going to be
- 4:04crazy. This was already coming, but
- 4:06well. And to decide where to place your
- 4:08product with ads, what it will do is
- 4:10take the criteria from your listing and
- 4:13the logic and some places we will see
- 4:15now. Another important thing: Seller
- 4:18Assistant. Well, it integrates with
- 4:20Claude and an agent inside Amazon helps
- 4:23you sell and do things. This will cost
- 4:26money and, well, everything will be
- 4:28done through agents. Now I am going to
- 4:30explain the strategy, okay? I'm going
- 4:32fast because otherwise, this is a lot
- 4:33of substance. I would have to make
- 4:35another video. If you want me to make
- 4:38another video about this topic or the
- 4:40strategies I'm implementing regarding
- 4:42Amazon, meaning Amazon-related topics
- 4:45and Amazon news, let me know so I
- 4:46understand you want more videos; either
- 4:49with a like, a comment, or saying
- 4:51something, to know if you're interested
- 4:53in this topic, whether you're selling
- 4:55on Amazon, looking to sell, or whatever
- 4:57, right? So, what is the strategy? Part
- 5:01one of the strategy involves six steps.
- 5:04Part one is the catalog architecture.
- 5:07Ultimately, you need to have a brand
- 5:10strategy, not a product strategy. And
- 5:13that brand strategy will consist of
- 5:15several products, above all. You can
- 5:17start with one, obviously, like
- 5:19everyone else, or you can just have one
- 5:20. Sometimes with just one product you
- 5:22can have a business, but most of the
- 5:24time it will be several products. That
- 5:27product will need a clear value
- 5:29proposition and you must decide what
- 5:31it's for and what it's not for. I mean,
- 5:34until now, if you look at the titles,
- 5:35the typical way to sell on Amazon was
- 5:37through the title. Now, you remember
- 5:40the title has changed; it's 75
- 5:42characters for the title and then a
- 5:44smaller part of the title below it. And
- 5:46the way of writing titles has changed a
- 5:48bit. Before, titles used to claim the
- 5:50product was for everything. Everything
- 5:51was for everyone. I mean, you had, I
- 5:54don't know, socks, and it said
- 5:56compression socks for travel, for
- 5:58nurses, for running, for sleeping, for
- 6:00—they tried to reach everyone with a
- 6:03single product to maximize sales. One
- 6:07thing I've always said, I've been
- 6:09saying it for 10 years, is that you
- 6:11need a brand strategy, not just trying
- 6:13to sell a single product, but a brand
- 6:15that meets the needs of a specific type
- 6:18of person, even if you leave others out
- 6:20. And this will be important now
- 6:24because with AI you have to make it
- 6:27clear what your product is for and what
- 6:29it is not for. That is, you will have
- 6:31to make it clear that the product is
- 6:33for this type of person, because when
- 6:35people find it and AI recommends it, it
- 6:38will recommend it for that reason. So,
- 6:41it's for when the weather is bad or
- 6:44only works for this breed of cat,
- 6:46things that solve a specific problem,
- 6:49and AI will understand it; it will
- 6:51understand what it is for and what it
- 6:54is not for. Very, very important. And
- 6:58this main problem that your product
- 7:00solves, the core value proposition or
- 7:02the main differentiation, is what will
- 7:04make you sell more, that is, what will
- 7:07make your product take off so people
- 7:09start buying it and get to know you,
- 7:11right? I will also mention other
- 7:14strategies that we need to implement in
- 7:162027 so you can get known, but this one
- 7:18is important. So, then you'll have to
- 7:20think about that, you'll have to think
- 7:22about other products or the same
- 7:24consumable product. so that they come
- 7:27back to buy it, because recurrence on
- 7:29Amazon is going to be more important
- 7:30than ever. I mean, you should think
- 7:33that you are going to sell a product,
- 7:35but also that you are going to make a
- 7:37customer when you sell that product,
- 7:39for several reasons: because obviously
- 7:44there is a customer acquisition cost
- 7:46with ads, and the customer has to spend
- 7:48more money than just a single purchase
- 7:49of your product. And we are going to
- 7:52have to think about how much the
- 7:54customer is going to spend, what we can
- 7:56offer them. And if you sell a product
- 7:58that isn't a consumable, you'll have to
- 8:00consider if it could be one, meaning,
- 8:02if it's a recurring product that needs
- 8:03to be bought every so often, which is
- 8:05the key. Whether that's the case or not
- 8:08, it doesn't matter; you'll have to
- 8:09think about what the next product is
- 8:11that solves the next problem that
- 8:12specific customer has. And this is very
- 8:15key. If you have a cat supplement brand
- 8:18, well, it's just an example, I'm not
- 8:21saying it's a good example, but an
- 8:23example: the supplement you release for
- 8:25cats for this problem has the same
- 8:27customer, with the same cat, and they
- 8:29have to buy your next product; I mean,
- 8:32the other supplement or whatever it is
- 8:34that they are going to buy when they
- 8:36buy that supplement. In other words,
- 8:39you need to give another product to the
- 8:41same customer so you can sell more and
- 8:43so the customer chooses you as a brand
- 8:45when they go to buy that other product.
- 8:47Therefore, a multi-product strategy.
- 8:50This is something I've been saying my
- 8:52whole life. I mean, ever since my first
- 8:55video was about how to build a brand,
- 8:57and this is something I am doing, I am
- 9:00implementing it because now I am
- 9:03listing quite a few products on Amazon.
- 9:06I mostly sell almost my entire catalog
- 9:08on e-commerce, and I have some products
- 9:10on Amazon, and I'm listing more and
- 9:12more to create a strategy, like this, a
- 9:14brand strategy, not a strategy for a
- 9:16single product, even if it solves
- 9:17something specific. I have a specific
- 9:20product that solves a very specific
- 9:22thing, and for example, I used to think
- 9:25, damn, man, like, how do I decide what
- 9:27to put in the title now? What do I put
- 9:30in the main image? How am I going to
- 9:31get it? Because people are a bit, I
- 9:33mean, they have to decide on the
- 9:35product based on what the title says,
- 9:37they see the main image? Maybe they
- 9:38look for more reviews and such, but I
- 9:41mean, I can't convey that it's actually
- 9:44going to solve your problem. And now
- 9:46this is going to make it easier and
- 9:48easier for them to understand. I mean,
- 9:51they will understand that when they
- 9:52have a specific problem that one of my
- 9:54cosmetics solves, they'll say, "Okay,
- 9:56this one is for you and I think this is
- 9:57going to help me, I think this will be
- 9:59interesting and it will open the door
- 10:01for them to buy other products, right?
- 10:04So, these are variables and we have to
- 10:07calculate, well, we have to calculate
- 10:10how much we are going to sell as a
- 10:13brand, not just as a product, okay? And
- 10:16we have to have a strategy for what
- 10:18your product solves and what it doesn't
- 10:20solve. Point number two, how do we
- 10:23optimize the listing, how will we have
- 10:25to optimize the listing in my opinion?
- 10:29I mean, we'll have to say, we'll have
- 10:34to think about the questions a buyer
- 10:35asks when they are going to buy your
- 10:37product, the problems they want to
- 10:39solve, what they want it for, what they
- 10:40don't want it for; and we'll have to
- 10:42resolve them throughout the listing, in
- 10:44the title, in the backend, and all this
- 10:46: the attribute map. So, you need to
- 10:49fill everything in with this. Then,
- 10:52second thing, within point two: the
- 10:54language you use in all your products,
- 10:56in your entire brand catalog on Amazon,
- 10:59will have to have the same language, eh
- 11:01, for the same target; it's for this,
- 11:03it's not for that. And for the AI to
- 11:08understand that it is a brand that has
- 11:11X language, X is for X audience, and
- 11:13you have to unify the language you use
- 11:16across all listings a bit. Therefore,
- 11:19selling single products on Amazon,
- 11:20apart from the fact that it never made
- 11:21sense, now makes less sense than ever.
- 11:24So, the AI will group you as a brand, I
- 11:27mean, it will understand. Eh, this is
- 11:29for, I think this is for you when
- 11:31someone searches by AI. In the bullets,
- 11:33you'll have to put features, benefits,
- 11:35and use cases. You'll have to put what
- 11:38the product is for and what it is not
- 11:40for. Then 15-20 Q&As, I mean, all the
- 11:43questions people have in the A +, add a
- 11:46Q&A and say, I mean, questions and
- 11:48answers and say," It's for whatever. ""
- 11:50Yes, because I don't know, I don't know
- 11:51how many. "Uh, resolve it, yes, because
- 11:53I don't know what. Or can you, how do I
- 11:57use it? Or, well, this is compatible
- 11:59with such and such. All the questions
- 12:00that are asked, you have to resolve
- 12:01them there. And then the A + uh will be
- 12:04key because it won't just be about
- 12:06images for people to see. A + is the
- 12:08extra content that comes after your
- 12:10product detail page, photo, title,
- 12:13bullets, and such; below, there are
- 12:15these nice-looking banners, which is
- 12:17the A + content, the extra content you
- 12:19can add to your listing. Until now, it
- 12:22was aesthetic. Now AI is going to
- 12:24extract information from there,
- 12:25especially, for example, comparison
- 12:27tables. If you have several products,
- 12:29which is the key, a family of products
- 12:31selling on Amazon, Amazon will extract
- 12:33information from that comparison table;
- 12:35AI really likes comparison tables, and
- 12:37from there you can extract what your
- 12:39product is and what it is not for. And
- 12:43this will feed the AI a lot: the Q&A, I
- 12:45mean, the questions and answers, and
- 12:47the comparison table, and then negative
- 12:48use cases. This is important, I already
- 12:52said it before, but saying what it is
- 12:54not for, I mean, this whole" it's for
- 12:56everyone and just buy it, it doesn't
- 12:59matter, "right? I mean, uh, it is not
- 13:04for such and such; adding negative use
- 13:06cases for your product will also be
- 13:08important to give context to the AI and
- 13:10to know who it should not show the
- 13:12product to—this is super important in
- 13:14Amazon, like how negative keywords
- 13:16worked—and who it should show the
- 13:18product to. I mean, you shouldn't try
- 13:20to go after everyone, but build a brand
- 13:22. Well, sometimes some products really
- 13:24are going to go after a lot of people,
- 13:25right? But if your product has specific
- 13:28characteristics, it has to go after
- 13:30people who need that, and stating who
- 13:32the product is not for, making it clear
- 13:35to give context to the AI. Part number
- 13:38three, in the reviews. See? You see
- 13:42that Amazon has announced it will allow
- 13:44you to place ads so that they leave you
- 13:46reviews. I mean, the ad will go out to
- 13:50all the customers who have bought from
- 13:52you and say," Rate my product, go on. "
- 13:55And you'll have to pay to get in front
- 13:58of people and ask for reviews. Why is
- 14:01this important? Well, on one hand, it's
- 14:04important because you need reviews to
- 14:06sell on Amazon, and it's interesting to
- 14:08put yourself in front of those who
- 14:10bought from you to remind them to leave
- 14:13a review, even if you have to pay, okay
- 14:15? or whatever, but there are two
- 14:18important things. Amazon, if we're
- 14:21going to start having AI recommend
- 14:24products to people instead of just
- 14:26sorting them in a list, I mean, think
- 14:29about Google, right? You used to search
- 14:33for something on Google and it would
- 14:35sort all the results, and now you ask
- 14:37it a question and it's a conversational
- 14:39chat, right? An LLM, this is going to
- 14:42be a bit the same. If we're going to
- 14:45shift to that, we're going to move to
- 14:47AI helping buyers decide which product
- 14:48is right for them or what. Reviews also
- 14:52start to have another function. Reviews
- 14:56on Amazon, well, before you sorted them
- 14:57, and the product that's been there for
- 14:5910 years with 25,000 reviews, you'd say
- 15:01," How do I compete with this? "They
- 15:04have accumulated reviews over the years
- 15:06. Now, the quantity of reviews won't be
- 15:08as relevant. I suppose it will still be
- 15:10relevant in some way, right? Obviously,
- 15:12but it won't be as relevant as before.
- 15:16And reviews become a way to feed the AI
- 15:18so it knows what to recommend and what
- 15:21not to recommend. That's why it's so
- 15:26important to ask for reviews so people
- 15:28leave information, so the AI can
- 15:30extract it and decide where to show
- 15:32your product or where to recommend your
- 15:34product. And especially recent reviews,
- 15:38I mean, it will be more important than
- 15:41ever not just to have a bunch of
- 15:43accumulated reviews, so you'll be able
- 15:45to compete with new products, with
- 15:47products that have a different value
- 15:50proposition, because recent reviews
- 15:52will be what Amazon apparently weights
- 15:55the most. Step number four, outside of
- 16:01Amazon. You have to understand that now
- 16:04people are talking to AIs like ChatGPT
- 16:07and such, and they ask them, I don't
- 16:10know, which supplements work best, if
- 16:13my cat is choking, whatever, and it
- 16:16gives you results, recommends brands,
- 16:19or which brand is better for this and
- 16:22such. In principle, AIs like Claude,
- 16:27ChatGPT, and such cannot scrape Amazon;
- 16:30they are blocked, right? Because of
- 16:34Amazon, they cannot extract the
- 16:36information from there to show you the
- 16:39results. This gives us several things.
- 16:42Ah, you can do ChatGPT ads; you will
- 16:44soon be able to do ads in the free
- 16:45versions of ChatGPT and such. I already
- 16:48do ChatGPT ads. The other day in a live
- 16:50stream, I showed how I do it, I showed
- 16:51how it integrates and so on. I will
- 16:53explain it a bit more later. In the
- 16:55mastermind, there will also be a course
- 16:57on this, and there are several things
- 16:59you can do. One, run ads. And two, it
- 17:01is more important than ever to have a
- 17:03strategy outside of Amazon. I mean,
- 17:06having, in my opinion, an online store
- 17:08is a must to be able to list products
- 17:11there, put all the information in the
- 17:13descriptions, and have pages, blogs,
- 17:15and product explanation pages so that
- 17:17your product information comes from
- 17:19that site. If it cannot crawl Amazon,
- 17:24then I would also add ads in various
- 17:27places. I mean, apart from this, Meta
- 17:31ads, everything we do outside for
- 17:33e-commerce, do it also to feed our
- 17:35Amazon listings and so that they buy
- 17:37from us not only on Amazon, but from
- 17:39outside of Amazon. I think all this
- 17:42will fuel sales on Amazon, it will
- 17:44create a snowball effect, it will make
- 17:46people buy more, and make Amazon
- 17:48understand that your product is more
- 17:50popular. It will collect more data, the
- 17:53AI will have more data to show you, and
- 17:54it will have to be pushed in several
- 17:56ways, right? You will have to have a
- 17:57presence outside of Amazon and, besides
- 17:59that, send traffic to Amazon from
- 18:00outside. I think this is going to be
- 18:02very key. Then, uh, point number five,
- 18:07let's see, you will have to have a
- 18:11brand strategy, uh, for sure. I mean,
- 18:14before it was like optional," oh, I
- 18:16sell one product of this and another of
- 18:17that. "That's nonsense. I mean, you
- 18:20have to build brand reputation, for
- 18:22sure. This is something I have always
- 18:25done with all my businesses. All the
- 18:28advertising I invest in or all the time
- 18:30I invest, all the energy, goes into
- 18:32building a brand strategy. I mean, so
- 18:35that when people buy, they recognize
- 18:37the brand, the name, they understand
- 18:38they like this brand and so on. And
- 18:40when they come back to buy, it is more
- 18:41likely that they will buy from me as a
- 18:43brand, whether it's the same product or
- 18:45another, than from others they don't
- 18:46recognize. So, everything is cumulative
- 18:49for the brand. People remember that
- 18:50they liked this brand for a reason. And
- 18:52that is what you have to do. And this
- 18:54is more important than ever. You have
- 18:57to have a consumable product, meaning
- 18:59purely recurring, or several products
- 19:00or a listing with many variables to
- 19:02increase the amount of products people
- 19:03can buy, or something like that,
- 19:05something you can subscribe to,
- 19:06something like that. And this is very
- 19:09important because look, uh, Alexa
- 19:13weighs the customer's purchase history
- 19:16more than other things, it will weigh
- 19:19it more than other things. That means
- 19:23that if you have a supplement for cats
- 19:25or some socks or whatever, or you have
- 19:27some product, it doesn't matter what
- 19:29you have, a cosmetic like me. Cosmetics
- 19:32are consumable, right? The moment
- 19:35someone buys from you, whenever they
- 19:37want, I mean, Amazon is going to push
- 19:40you in many ways so that person buys
- 19:42from you again, right? Buy this again,
- 19:45uh, you must have run out of this. And
- 19:48Alexa, when you search, when it
- 19:50searches when it gives you search
- 19:54results, when you ask it things and so
- 19:56on, it will give you, it will look at
- 19:58your customer history and it will give
- 20:01you products from the brands you have
- 20:03already bought. And this is going to be
- 20:07key, getting into the shoppers '
- 20:08ecosystem through, well, purchases,
- 20:10right? I mean, you sell to the customer
- 20:13, but you haven't just achieved one
- 20:14purchase and a margin and money and so
- 20:16on, but you have somehow acquired that
- 20:18customer. You have gotten into their
- 20:20home and now into their computer, into
- 20:22Alexa, the AI and everything, you will
- 20:24be around there, it will suggest that
- 20:26they buy the product again, it will
- 20:28suggest other products, it will know
- 20:30that it has to push more products from
- 20:32your brand. This is going to be key,
- 20:34the brand strategy, getting into the
- 20:36history, into the customer's history
- 20:38and that your brand has a journey. I
- 20:41mean, if you have, as I tell you,
- 20:43imagine you have a brand of supplements
- 20:46for cats, well damn, don't have just
- 20:48one supplement; but if the supplement,
- 20:50if people who have this type of cat
- 20:52with this problem buy supplements A, B,
- 20:54and C, you will have to have A. I mean,
- 20:56a logical catalog on Amazon to have a
- 20:59powerful brand within Amazon. everyone,
- 21:03I mean, look, you can start with one
- 21:05product—I mean, we all start with one
- 21:08product and then we build the brand,
- 21:11but the answer, strategically,
- 21:13technically, economically, and now with
- 21:16AI, is to have multiple products. The
- 21:19answer to growth, I mean. A lot of
- 21:22people tell me," Emo, I'm making 50,000
- 21:24a month, what should I do? "" How do I
- 21:26scale? "More products, damn it, within
- 21:29the same brand. I mean, there's no
- 21:30other way. And this is just how it is.
- 21:33For example, the other day I listed
- 21:35four products at once on Amazon, and
- 21:36they all complement each other. Some
- 21:39compete with each other, they are
- 21:40mutually exclusive because one is for
- 21:42this and the other is for that. It's
- 21:44like having a cream for oily skin and
- 21:46another for dry skin. So, you go after
- 21:48some customers, right?,with your value
- 21:50proposition, your cream and such, and
- 21:52well, you capture the customers who
- 21:53have oily, mixed, and dry skin, right?
- 21:56For example, it's not—it's not me, I
- 21:58don't sell creams, I sell other things,
- 21:59but for example, you capture them here,
- 22:01but then they need the serum for such
- 22:02and such and then they need the
- 22:03cleanser for whatever, well, this range
- 22:05, right? This entire buyer journey is
- 22:08what I would have with the brand, and
- 22:10it's what I do. I have some products
- 22:13that are indeed mutually exclusive,
- 22:15which go for not just client A, but for
- 22:17clients A, B, and C, and I capture them
- 22:19here, but then all three will have to
- 22:21use this other one and this other one.
- 22:23So, I have that product catalog that is
- 22:26a sequence, imagine a skincare routine,
- 22:28right? Well, something like that. I
- 22:32don't know if that was understood. I
- 22:33hope so. I hope so. I think it was
- 22:35understood, man. And then, point number
- 22:39six, we'll have to start having
- 22:42measurements of results, money,
- 22:44performance, return on investment by
- 22:47brand, not by ASIN. I mean, your brand,
- 22:50I think—I've been saying this, eh,
- 22:53but well, now it's more relevant than
- 22:56ever. It's not about saying: this
- 23:00product is doing well, this one is
- 23:02doing poorly, this one gives me this,
- 23:04this one gives me that; but rather, if
- 23:05you have, for example, a product that
- 23:07they have to buy no matter what, and
- 23:09then the same customer buys this, this,
- 23:11and this, and this, look, look where
- 23:13I'm going. That's how I have it. My
- 23:17businesses are all based on customer
- 23:19recurrence and I've always said so, but
- 23:22for those starting on Amazon, start
- 23:24thinking about a customer purchase
- 23:26sequence. Because if you have a product
- 23:30and they know you, get to know you, and
- 23:35buy from you for that product, and you
- 23:38have complementary products to that
- 23:40product, well, the product sells well,
- 23:45because they bought product A and trust
- 23:47your brand, and so they buy B; and
- 23:49thanks to the fact that they bought one
- 23:51, they buy the other. I mean, one
- 23:54necessarily feeds the other and the
- 23:58customer enters your brand's ecosystem.
- 24:03Therefore, having several products
- 24:05makes them help each other in some way
- 24:08and you have to think strategically. I
- 24:11think this way, for example, you guys
- 24:12already know, right? I've always said
- 24:14it: brand strategy, several products,
- 24:17and so on, all a consistent brand. How
- 24:20many times have I said this? And for
- 24:22those in the mastermind, module one of
- 24:24the e-commerce course is brand strategy
- 24:26. I mean, it's the whole strategy. I
- 24:29explain all this because it's key; for
- 24:31the long term, it's what makes you grow
- 24:33, right? And the measurement will be
- 24:37the customer acquisition cost and how
- 24:40much they spend on the brand, that is,
- 24:43the ACOS, TACOS, etc., but per brand. I
- 24:47mean, you calculate at 3 months, for
- 24:49example, or a year, how many products
- 24:51and how much recurrence the same
- 24:53customer has had with your brand. Not
- 24:55just in each sale, like in each sale I
- 24:57kept this margin, right? Because maybe
- 24:59in one sale you kept this margin, but
- 25:00since they bought two more times, you
- 25:02ended up with this much at the end. So
- 25:04you have to look at it strategically,
- 25:07not just at the numbers of a single
- 25:09customer and over a longer period of
- 25:11time. You have to expand the strategy
- 25:13over time, understanding that they are
- 25:15going to buy several times and so on. I
- 25:17don't know if I'm dragging on too much
- 25:19with this point, but to me, it's the
- 25:21key, right? So, look, I'm going to give
- 25:23you some questions you have to ask
- 25:24yourself to be able to sell on Amazon
- 25:26correctly from now on. Point number one
- 25:28: can you name the next product your
- 25:31customer should buy? If you are going
- 25:33to launch a product on Amazon. I, for
- 25:35example, have one of my products in
- 25:37mind, and I say," What would they buy
- 25:39after this one, or what do they need to
- 25:41complement this? "" This other one. "
- 25:42You have to know from the start what
- 25:45other products your customer is going
- 25:48to buy and can complement with your
- 25:50line later on. You might have them
- 25:53super clear or not so clear, but you
- 25:55must know there will be a line, a
- 25:57sequence of purchase. Two, do you use
- 26:00the same consistent language across all
- 26:03your ASINs? Meaning, do they all have
- 26:07the same way of speaking, the same
- 26:10value propositions, and so on? Three,
- 26:15you have to take advantage—are you
- 26:18using all the fields the backend gives
- 26:20you, the title, and everything to
- 26:22answer customer questions? Four, what
- 26:26percentage of your sales are"
- 26:29new-to-brand "? I mean, it's like in
- 26:32e-commerce when they used to say:" Hey,
- 26:35you have to calculate LTV divided by
- 26:37CAC, "that is, how much it costs you to
- 26:40acquire a customer, which is the CAC,
- 26:42and how much a customer spends over a
- 26:45year, for example, or 3 or 5 years.
- 26:48It’s a slightly longer-term strategy,
- 26:51and that's how you have to calculate
- 26:53things, right? And know the recurrence
- 26:57of your business and the new customers,
- 26:59just like we do in e-commerce, in the
- 27:02online store, right? What percentage of
- 27:04customer recurrence do you have? Maybe
- 27:0725, 30, 50, whatever it is. And this
- 27:10will be key on Amazon now, too, because
- 27:12I’m telling you, it’s going to push
- 27:15for the same customer to buy from your
- 27:19brand again. Five, if someone asks
- 27:22ChatGPT or searches outside of Amazon,
- 27:24are you present or are you not present?
- 27:27And this is key. I mean, look, it's
- 27:30obvious to me, you have to be present
- 27:33outside of Amazon with content, with
- 27:35advertising, or with information that
- 27:37feeds the AI in some way, right? And
- 27:40this is the strategy in a nutshell. I
- 27:42wanted to condense this a lot, because
- 27:45there have been some huge developments,
- 27:47things are coming, changes are coming,
- 27:49Amazon has set Rufus aside, integrated
- 27:52Alexa, and so on. Advertising will be
- 27:55completely different, and the strategy
- 27:57as Amazon sellers is going to change
- 27:59quite a bit. I’ll keep talking about
- 28:01it a bit more. If you need more videos
- 28:02on this topic, I’ll make them. I’ll
- 28:04do a live stream on YouTube as well. I
- 28:06also wanted to announce that for
- 28:08everyone in the mastermind, there will
- 28:11be a GEO program—basically, it's like
- 28:15SEO but for AI, to appear in AI search
- 28:18results—and that program will also
- 28:20include ChatGPT Ads and how to run
- 28:23advertising on ChatGPT. I'm using it
- 28:26for my brands with chat, and there's
- 28:28quite a bit of engagement; it’s a new
- 28:30thing, and it's worth getting into
- 28:32early. The e-commerce course has been
- 28:35re-recorded, and there will be a TikTok
- 28:37Shop course that I am currently
- 28:38re-recording. And the Amazon program, I
- 28:41believe we re-recorded that recently
- 28:44and it was it was totally from scratch,
- 28:49meaning we started over from zero to
- 28:51record everything, aiming at how to be
- 28:53the top seller in a category.
- 28:55Everything revolves around this concept
- 28:57, and now we are going to re-record it
- 28:59entirely. You will also have access to
- 29:01all of this at no extra cost because
- 29:03everything is going to be done with
- 29:06Claude; everything will be using Claude
- 29:08and everything will be using AI, so the
- 29:10strategy is changing now. Then, for the
- 29:13Agency course, we are also re-recording
- 29:16the program on how to have an Amazon
- 29:18agency and monetize your knowledge by
- 29:20offering services. It is also being
- 29:22re-recorded. We are on module four, I
- 29:23believe, because I wanted to make a
- 29:25course that is a bit more direct, with
- 29:29a clearer strategy, right? I think it's
- 29:31working well. And if you don't know
- 29:33what the mastermind is, we have all
- 29:35these programs: live sessions every day
- 29:38of the week with all the mentors for
- 29:40each of the businesses I mentioned—
- 29:42e-commerce, Amazon, TikTok, all of this
- 29:44, and the agency and Claude. It is a
- 29:47monthly subscription; I’ll leave it
- 29:49there if you are interested. No, there
- 29:52is no contract, no commitment; you can
- 29:54cancel whenever you want. It's
- 29:56something like Netflix for businesses,
- 29:59and the key is that it has many live
- 30:02sessions. You join like a reality show,
- 30:04you jump in there, and someone is live
- 30:06explaining the strategies. There are
- 30:09three live sessions just for Amazon per
- 30:12week, so all of this will be covered
- 30:14completely; but anyway, what I wanted
- 30:16to say is: this needs more videos, I
- 30:18will make more, and I will also do live
- 30:20sessions on YouTube. I don't know if
- 30:23you have that notification bell clicked
- 30:26so that when I'm live on YouTube it
- 30:29notifies you, so we can talk and all of
- 30:32that. And anyway, I hope the changes
- 30:35are clear, the brand strategy that must
- 30:37be implemented no matter what, I think,
- 30:38as always, but now more than ever. And
- 30:41anyway, I'll do a live stream these
- 30:43days. What?
