- 0:50four different fields namely classroom
- 0:53learning commuting or traveling
- 0:56socializing or participating in group
- 0:58activities and playing sports or games.
- 1:02Each group will list down at least three
- 1:04scenarios on what if there was no light
- 1:07or sound on their assigned fields.
- 1:13What are the importance of light and
- 1:15sound? Light and sound essentially used
- 1:18in communication, entertainment, safety,
- 1:22medicine and navigation. Ang light at
- 1:25sound ay hindi lang basta-basta
- 1:27phenomena. They are vital tools used in
- 1:30our daily lives from the lights that
- 1:32guide us to the sounds that warn us.
- 1:36Understanding how they work leads to
- 1:38better and more efficient technologies.
- 1:42Light and sound are essential parts of
- 1:44our daily lives. Over the years, many
- 1:47innovation have been developed to use
- 1:50the properties of light and sound in new
- 1:53and exciting ways. Technologies such as
- 1:55leads, holograms, and lasers have
- 1:59transformed how we see and new light.
- 2:03While soundprofing materials and sound
- 2:05amplifiers have changed the way we
- 2:07manage and experience sound.
- 2:10Understanding these technologies help us
- 2:13appreciate their significance in fields
- 2:15like communication,
- 2:17entertainment, medicine and safety.
- 2:24What are innovations related to light?
- 2:27Here are the innovations that are
- 2:30related to light. Leads or light
- 2:33emitting diodes, energy efficient
- 2:36lighting, lasers used in medicine,
- 2:40industry, entertainment holograms used
- 2:43for making 3D images for visuals, art
- 2:47and security and optical fibers for
- 2:50highspeed communication networks. Kung
- 2:53may LED or LED sa bahay ninyo, then you
- 2:56already benefit from innovation. Lasers,
- 2:59ginagamit sa ey surgeries. katulad ng
- 3:02laic and barcode scanners. Cool 'di ba?
- 3:07What are the innovations related to
- 3:09sound? We have soundprofing materials
- 3:13which absorb or block sound, sound
- 3:16amplifiers which are used in
- 3:18microphones, speakers, ultrasounds which
- 3:22are used in for imaging in medicine and
- 3:26noise cancelling technology used in
- 3:29headphones. Tunog din ay makapangyarihan
- 3:32with amplifiers. Kahit maliit ang boses
- 3:35naririnig ng marami. Sa mga ospital,
- 3:38ultrasounds help see inside body without
- 3:42cutting it open.
- 3:46[Musika]
- 3:49These are other real word applications
- 3:52of light or sound. We have leads for
- 3:55traffic lights, flashlights, and
- 3:57gadgets, lasers for surgeries or metal
- 4:01cutting, holograms for stage visuals,
- 4:04security and seals, soundproping for
- 4:07studios, theaters, and amplifiers for
- 4:11concerts, classroom, and hearing aids.
- 4:13Napaka-useful ng mga ito. Lahat ito ay
- 4:16makikita mo sa paligid, schoolman, sa
- 4:19bahay o kalsada. talagang pinapadali
- 4:21nila ang buhay natin.
- 4:24Let's have an activity and it's called
- 4:27Light and Sound at Home and School.
- 4:30Think about your day from paggising
- 4:32hanggang sa pagpasok sa school.
- 4:35Ano-anong bagay ang ginagamitan ng light
- 4:37and sound? Let's list them. These three
- 4:40things that are light and sound related
- 4:42technologies found at your home and at
- 4:45your school.
- 4:48Let's have another activity and it's
- 4:50called lasers in our daily life. Scan
- 4:52the QR code and watch the video. Lasers
- 4:57in our daily life.
- 5:00Then answer the following questions.
- 5:02Number one, what does the word laser
- 5:04stand for? What are the things mentioned
- 5:07in the video that uses laser technology?
- 5:11And what are the applications of lasers
- 5:14mention in the video?
- 5:19Laser safety precautions. Kung kayo ay
- 5:21gagamit ng laser, never point a laser at
- 5:24your eyes or others. Do not aim lasers
- 5:28at reflective surfaces.
- 5:31Use appropriate laser safety goggles.
- 5:34Use lasers in controlled areas avoid
- 5:38skin exposure to high powered lasers
- 5:42turn off lasers when not in use. And
- 5:45read and follow the manufacturer's
- 5:47instructions.
- 5:50DVT 2.
- 5:52Sound application and stoscope. Scan the
- 5:56QR code and watch the video about sound
- 5:58application and stoscope.
- 6:01Answer the following question. What is
- 6:04the stethoscope and what it is used for?
- 6:07How is the sound being amplified by the
- 6:09diaphretoscope?
- 6:14Tvity 3. Build a DIY sound from room.
- 6:19Apply what we learned. Gumawa tayo ng
- 6:21maliit na kwarto at subukan kung anong
- 6:23materials ang best pang-block ng sound.
- 6:26The objective of this activity is to
- 6:28test which kind or kinds of materials
- 6:31black and dumpen sound effectively. The
- 6:34following are the materials needed in
- 6:36the activity. mobile phones with
- 6:39installed decibel meter app, small
