  1. 0:00I think that our involvement in the u.s.
  2. 0:06election for the election of a president
  3. 0:11who's proved to be so divisive among
  4. 0:14voters and polarizing amongst voters put
  5. 0:18an incredibly huge target on our back
  6. 0:21and that ever since that day although it
  7. 0:27was a great success in some in some
  8. 0:31terms for the cup for the company and
  9. 0:33you know it's business growth it
  10. 0:36actually proved to be its undoing
  11. 0:38because from that moment onwards there
  12. 0:41were actors not least Democrats and the
  13. 0:48liberal media particularly who would
  14. 0:50just determined to destroy us absolutely
  15. 0:53destroy us and we became the target of a
  16. 0:56sustained press and media attack now you
  17. 0:59couple that with the reporting in the UK
  18. 1:03driven largely by Carroll and the
  19. 1:05Guardian about our involvement in brexit
  20. 1:09and obviously that was proved to be
  21. 1:13false reporting at every level but we
  22. 1:17were in this country then perceived to
  23. 1:19be the architects of that campaign and
  24. 1:21we were vilified and hated for that and
  25. 1:24you add into the mix an extremely
  26. 1:28jealous and resentful employee who's sat
  27. 1:31there and stood for three years as his
  28. 1:34baby grew and matured and got all the
  29. 1:37success and he then saw this opportunity
  30. 1:40to go to Carroll and to share with her
  31. 1:43every single possible fantastical
  32. 1:47allegation that he could come up with
  33. 1:49and she gave him the mouthpiece to be
  34. 1:52able to put all of this into print so
  35. 1:55that it went viral on a global scale and
  36. 2:02you have the makings of a perfect storm
  37. 2:05you have people who the public want to
  38. 2:07hate because of our association with
  39. 2:09Trump and
  40. 2:10false association with brexit you have
  41. 2:14somebody who's deeply motivated to
  42. 2:17destroy us who's feeding snippets of
  43. 2:20information half-baked allegations to a
  44. 2:23media organization that's incredibly
  45. 2:25influential and powerful and obviously
  46. 2:28the Guardian and particularly Carol
  47. 2:30thought that if by attacking Cambridge
  48. 2:33analytic and proving that we had been
  49. 2:36involved in the referendum and that our
  50. 2:39involvement had somehow been illegal
  51. 2:41that they might be able to push for a
  52. 2:43second referendum which is exactly what
  53. 2:45they tried to do together yesterday that
  54. 2:47they might be able to change the course
  55. 2:49of history and I genuinely
  56. 2:51wholeheartedly believe that that is what
  57. 2:53has happened I believe that people in
  58. 2:56America can't accept that love is their
  59. 2:58president and they want to blame someone
  60. 3:00for that and people in England are
  61. 3:02looking led by Carole are looking to to
  62. 3:05use us as a way to overturn the outcome
  63. 3:08of this referendum that they don't agree
  64. 3:09with
