- 0:00When your ankles swell up three times
- 0:01the size they were before, that means
- 0:03heart failure. And he does look sick.
- 0:07And he does
- 0:09babble and you know
- 0:11sound like the brain's not doing too
- 0:12hot.
- 0:15And so, we just cut bait on Trump
- 0:19and we just mobilize against the
- 0:20Democrats. This is not funny.
- 0:23This is not good.
- 0:25But he's gone.
- 0:27And that's it.
- 0:30>> Okay. I mean,
- 0:32I agree with what Alex Jones said there.
- 0:35It's just that the messenger might not
- 0:36be the best person to provide the
- 0:39message. You know, the whole thing about
- 0:41he looks sick. He keeps babbling. He
- 0:44doesn't seem like he's well. Okay. But
- 0:45anyway,
- 0:47it's very clear that Trump is losing
- 0:48support. And I think he's losing support
- 0:50for good reason. Uh now, it turns out
- 0:54that some of the mega loyalists are
- 0:55finally jumping ship. And uh we'll get
- 0:58to more of that later. But first, I
- 0:59can't help myself. Here's a little bit
- 1:01more from Alex Jones.
- 1:03>> Trump is in free fall. And that means
- 1:05we're in free fall in the midterms.
- 1:07Unless Republican candidates say, "We
- 1:09are real America Firsters. We liked
- 1:11Trump in the past. We're sorry he's
- 1:12obviously had an aneurysm or something
- 1:14or stroke. But we're not Trump. We're
- 1:16going to stop the Democrats and their
- 1:18plan for defunding the police and open
- 1:20borders and transgenderism and
- 1:22pedophilia and men and women's sports
- 1:24and giant tax increases and gun
- 1:26confiscations. We need to say, 'We're
- 1:28the original populist Tea Party
- 1:30Republicans that got Trump in.
- 1:33Just because he's been betraying us,
- 1:34we're not.' That is the clear way out of
- 1:36this.
- 1:37We have to say, 'Too bad Trump ran off
- 1:39the edge of a cliff. I don't think he's
- 1:41coming back from it. But triage him,
- 1:43isolate him, and explain we're not him
- 1:47and we're not the Democrats 10 times
- 1:48worse. We're not the Democrats 10 times
- 1:50worse and we're not him and we're
- 1:52morally against this and blowing up
- 1:54Iranian water supplies he's talking
- 1:55about war crime any way you cut it.
- 1:57Put pressure on him not to do that.
- 2:01And just continue on the moral, proper
- 2:03way to behave.
- 2:05Not stick our finger in the wind and see
- 2:06which way it's blowing.
- 2:09>> All right, lessons from Alex Jones on
- 2:11the moral, proper way to behave. Got it.
- 2:14Okay. Well, he's not the only one who
- 2:16has turned on Trump. To give you an idea
- 2:19of just how historically unpopular Trump
- 2:22has become,
- 2:23I mean, what better source than the very
- 2:26enthusiastic Harry Enten? Take a look.
- 2:29>> This has been a steady fall into the
- 2:32abyss. There is no bottom. Death Valley,
- 2:35Death Sea. That is how low we are going.
- 2:37And look at this. I think this really
- 2:39just kind of shows it. It is not one
- 2:40event that is dragging Donald Trump
- 2:42down. It's a slew of events that have
- 2:43come together and have continuously
- 2:45dropped his net approval rating. You
- 2:47know, you go back to last year when he
- 2:48was sworn in for a second term. He was
- 2:50at plus six points. Then minus three
- 2:51points a year ago. Minus seven points
- 2:54nine months ago. Minus 10 points in
- 2:56October 202025. January 2026, minus 13
- 2:59points. And now all the way down to
- 3:02minus 18 points. If there's one big
- 3:06number from this, is that Donald Trump
- 3:08now has the worst net approval rating
- 3:10among independents of any president ever
- 3:13at this point in term two. He is worse
- 3:15than Richard Nixon, who would be going
- 3:17adios amigos in a few months back in
- 3:191974.
- 3:23>> You know, those numbers make a lot of
- 3:25sense. Because if you looked at that,
- 3:27for those who listened to the audio
- 3:29version of the show, Harry Enten showed
- 3:32some of the other unpopular former
- 3:34presidents, right? You've got Nixon, and
- 3:36then you have George W. Bush at -37
- 3:41approval rating, right? When you
- 3:42consider where he was at when he was
- 3:43first elected versus where he ended up.
- 3:46With Trump, it's -45.
- 3:49And that makes sense. Because even
- 3:50though George W. Bush was absolutely
- 3:53horrible, his administration was full to
- 3:56the brim with war criminals.
- 3:59They were still smart enough to not get
- 4:01dried into a war with Iran.
- 4:03Okay? Like I just
- 4:05with Trump there's the corruption angle,
- 4:08right? There's the capture by Israeli
- 4:13interests.
- 4:14And then there's the incompetence on top
- 4:16of that. And the fact that he was high
- 4:18on his own supply after kidnapping the
- 4:20leader of Venezuela.
- 4:22So he was very easy to manipulate and
- 4:25convince that this is just going to be a
- 4:28short military operation in Iran. You
- 4:30have nothing to worry about. Iran is so
- 4:31weak. They're historically weak. We have
- 4:33weakened them so much that this is your
- 4:35only opportunity to take them out.
- 4:39He did this without securing a plan when
- 4:42it comes to the Strait of Hormuz.
- 4:45So yeah, he deserves those numbers. He
- 4:46probably deserves a lot worse actually.
- 4:48So
- 4:50Trump's approval numbers have been
- 4:52suffering for some time now. However,
- 4:54pollsters, politicians, and pundits have
- 4:57argued that Trump has not really lost
- 4:59that much support from his core MAGA
- 5:01base. The question is
- 5:04what's the methodology of these polls
- 5:05and who is considered part of his MAGA
- 5:08base? Because are they only considering
- 5:11his MAGA base people who currently
- 5:14identify as MAGA? Because a lot of
- 5:15people who voted for him and previously
- 5:17identified as MAGA don't identify as
- 5:20MAGA anymore because they've turned on
- 5:21him. But nonetheless, let's go to a
- 5:23YouGov and Economist poll. It was just
- 5:26released. Um and this is what it
- 5:28suggests. Three weeks ago, 84% of people
- 5:31who voted for Trump in 2024 approved of
- 5:35his job handling. And 12% disapproved,
- 5:38okay?
- 5:39This week the numbers are a little
- 5:40different, okay? This week Trump's job
- 5:42approval among 2024 Trump voters is 76%
- 5:47approve versus 19% disapprove. So, there
- 5:50are people who previously supported him
- 5:53and they no longer do. And a lot of
- 5:55those people
- 5:56they do reach out to me, which is
- 5:57amazing. And I I commend them for doing
- 5:59that because they'll say things like I
- 6:01was I was a third three-time Trump voter
- 6:04and I'm done with him. Like he because
- 6:07he made these promises
- 6:09and it was so brazen how he threw his
- 6:13own base under the bus. I mean, if
- 6:14you're still supporting him on these
- 6:17major promises, not dragging us into
- 6:19wars
- 6:21and dealing with the economic situation
- 6:23on the ground here in the United States,
- 6:24inflation, affordability, cost of
- 6:26living.
- 6:27He reneged on all of that. So, yeah,
- 6:29people are going to turn on him. But,
- 6:30those who didn't turn on him
- 6:32politics for them is something
- 6:34different. It's a team sport. It's about
- 6:36cult of personality.
- 6:38And it's on it's unfortunate. Okay, it
- 6:40really is because our country is in a
- 6:42lot of trouble. And the only way that we
- 6:44can change things is if we're willing to
- 6:47hold our own side accountable. If we're
- 6:50constantly making excuses for or
- 6:51providing cover for our own side when
- 6:53they screw us
- 6:55when they do not follow through with
- 6:56their promises, they're going to keep
- 6:58screwing us. Why wouldn't they? What
- 6:59incentive do they have to stay honest
- 7:02and accountable to the American people?
- 7:04Now, um
- 7:06it is worth also emphasizing that those
- 7:08numbers have to do with the 2024 Trump
- 7:12voters, right? The poll numbers that I
- 7:14just shared with you and that's
- 7:15different than other polls which often
- 7:17ask the respondent whether they still
- 7:21identify as MAGA before asking them for
- 7:23their opinion. So, it's a subtle
- 7:25difference, but it makes a big
- 7:26difference actually in the polling
- 7:28results. So, if we go all the way back
- 7:30to the start of Trump's second term,
- 7:33let's take a look at this.
- 7:34So, at that time 93% of the 2024 Trump
- 7:39voters approved of
- 7:42the job he's doing as president. To
- 7:44explain why so many Trump voters are
- 7:46jumping off the bandwagon now, we should
- 7:48actually take a look at a Reuters-Ipsos
- 7:51poll that came out just yesterday. So,
- 7:53that poll indicates that two-thirds of
- 7:55Americans believe that the US should
- 7:57work to end its involvement in the Iran
- 8:00war quickly, even if that means not
- 8:03achieving the goals set out by the Trump
- 8:06administration. Among Trump's
- 8:08Republicans, 40% supported ending the
- 8:11conflict quickly, even if it did not
- 8:13achieve US goals, while 57% supported a
- 8:17longer involvement.
- 8:19So, that's what's currently transpiring
- 8:21right now. I Remember, we're still what,
- 8:24this is like the fifth week of the war,
- 8:25so it's still pretty new.
- 8:27And as it goes on
- 8:30for a longer period of time, s- the
- 8:32president or the administration tends to
- 8:34lose more and more support, especially
- 8:36when the war is not going so well. We
- 8:38started off with this war being
- 8:39incredibly unpopular, and it's only
- 8:41going to continue getting more and more
- 8:43unpopular as it continues. So, the real
- 8:46question now is, what is the
- 8:49administration going to do to end this?
- 8:52Are they going to end it, or are we
- 8:54going to see more escalation?
- 8:56So, we're going to have to wait and see.
- 8:58Trump is going to give uh some sort of
- 8:59address later tonight.
- 9:03I'm not holding my breath that we're
- 9:04going to get much clarity from him. Uh
- 9:07to Alex Jo- Jones' point, he
- 9:10seems a little bit unhinged and rambling
- 9:13all the time, speaking from two sides of
- 9:15his mouth. So, we're going to have to
- 9:16wait and see, but the situation isn't
- 9:19good for the administration. More
- 9:21importantly, this situation isn't good
- 9:23for the American people. That should be
- 9:24the priority.
- 9:25>> Every time you ring the bell below, an
- 9:27angel gets his wings. Totally not true,
- 9:30but it does keep you updated on our live
- 9:31shows.
