- 0:00thrust reverser Kaldor removal first of
- 0:05all prepare the aircraft for the removal
- 0:07task and deactivate the thrust reverser
- 0:10system install the thrust reverser sling
- 0:14to the sling points first at the two
- 0:18lower hoisting points using the hoist
- 0:22hold up the weight of the thrust
- 0:25reverser Kaldor and after having removed
- 0:29the hinge access panel from the pylon
- 0:32attach the last hoisting fixture to the
- 0:35thrust reverser hinge upper beam
- 0:48next disconnect the hydraulic manifold
- 0:51from the thrust reverser cal door
- 0:53opening actuator install the protective
- 0:58caps
- 1:09and remove the actuator
- 1:19on the thrust reverser system disconnect
- 1:22the electrical connector from the
- 1:24electrical receptacle and disconnect the
- 1:29deploy and retract hoses from the upper
- 1:32actuator then gain access to the pylon
- 1:38hinges and remove the four hinge bolts
- 1:41and nuts
- 1:48carefully lift and disengage the thrust
- 1:51reverser cowl door from the pylon hinges
- 1:59remove the cowl door taking care that it
- 2:03doesn't hit against the slat surfaces
- 2:07finally lower it onto its dolly
