0:05single target for bossing. Since my last
0:07sorcerer guide, I've been going through
0:09hundreds of global, Korean, and even
0:11Taiwan logs, in combination of hundreds
0:14of your comments, and even a pile of my
0:16own controlled parsing, I have a bunch
0:18of optimizations we can do to the build
0:19with the wish timing changes, flame
0:21arrow weaving that's better than I even
0:23showed before, some brand new ice chain
0:25and frost burst data where people aren't
0:26getting the free DPS they think. I've
0:28even got a much cleaner convenient setup
0:30that will pretty much play the whole
0:31game for you, while showing you both the
0:34easy and the optimized setups. We got a
0:36ton to go over. What's up world, Utopia
0:38here back again with another video.
0:39Today we're checking out all things A
0:40Hunt 2. First off here to give some
0:42context on my current global
0:43progression. I've done controlled
0:45parsing around 80K gear score, or at
0:48least around 1800 to 1900. Some of the
0:50tests can variate, but A&B testing was
0:52done around the same. I'm currently much
0:54higher, but all of the A&B testing was
0:56done at the [music] exact same spec and
0:58the exact same gear score respective to
0:59the test. As I mentioned, I've also gone
1:01through a ton of global bossing logs,
1:03and we finally have enough data here to
1:05separate what actually improves the
1:06build from what just looks good on a
1:08training dummy. For example here, we
1:09have an actual global elimination here,
1:11someone at 87,000 gear score doing
1:1424,300 boss DPS. Hellfire is their
1:18number one damage with blaze being
1:19number two and fire storm being number
1:21three. That's exactly close to the core
1:23that we've been seeing in the controlled
1:24testing, except now you're seeing it at
1:26a real boss and one of the top parsers.
1:28We're going to get on here to the core
1:29sorcerer engine, how everything works,
1:32and how to get your macro set up so
1:33everything is good and in order. So as I
1:34mentioned here, one of the first thing
1:36we're going to get into is the actual
1:37damage engine of the sorcerer. And that
1:40is always as I've mentioned, Hellfire,
1:42blaze, bitter cold, fire storm, as well
1:45as many others that we're going to be
1:46utilizing. So I've again re-optimized
1:50both our macro and our stack optimized
1:53stuff. So I want to quickly here go So I
1:55want to go into both our stack optimized
1:57and eventually into our macros. So we're
2:00going to go into that section as well.
2:01And that's where I've actually been
2:02testing a program alongside this to make
2:04sure that this macro works
2:05appropriately. Because legitimately,
2:07this will help you and actually help
2:09your connection to the servers. One
2:11major thing here I would check before
2:12you even start worrying about your
2:13builds or even which class you're
2:15playing, that has to do with your
2:16connection and your ping. You'd be
2:18surprised this matters quite a bit in
2:20Aion 2. The community has spent months
2:22testing how latency affects combat,
2:24especially on faster classes where your
2:26attack timing and combos can start
2:27feeling completely different [music]
2:28depending on your connection. And with
2:30global bringing players across different
2:32regions, that's exactly why I've been
2:34testing Aion 2 with Lag Zapper. Because

2:5350 ms, but I had spikes all the way to

2:58stuck mostly around the mid-40s mark
3:01with only an occasional spike to 50 ms,
3:03which really matters for the consistency
3:05there. Because in a game like Aion 2,
3:07I'd much rather have a stable connection
3:09through an entire fight than see one
3:11really low ping number that starts to
3:13spike, as you saw all the way till 80
3:15when combat gets busy. But there is a
3:17pretty cool part here that I think a lot
3:18of Aion players are really going to like
3:20with Lag Zapper. It has a DPS meter
3:22built right into it. So, while testing
3:24your rotations, gear, or figuring out
3:25which build performs better, you can see
3:27your real-time combat and DPS data right
3:29here in the tool. And for those of you

4:07Okay, so now that you have that set up,
4:08hopefully you've lowered your ping there
4:10and it's actually going to make this
4:11play a lot better. So, first up here
4:13with your core engine and things you
4:15should be leveling as you go. Wish is
4:17your top priority with flame arrow,
4:19firestorm, blaze, and bitter cold. And
4:21yes, technically hellfire, our current
4:24priority right now for a lot of you
4:26should be level 16. As you are leveling,
4:29yes, you do want to hit things that are
4:30called break points. So, you see as we
4:32go through we can kind of unlock these
4:34break points. But that is essentially
4:36your leveling priority with your
4:38abilities. It's going to be wish, flame
4:41arrow, firestorm, blaze, bitter cold,
4:44and hellfire, which will play into the
4:46minus all cool downs once we get to
4:48level 16. Now, again, for your
4:50specialties, super quick here, very very
4:53fast. Flame arrow, 50% on hit, 5% damage
4:56boost. For firestorm, skill speed,
4:59obviously incredible. And then also
5:01minus two seconds to hellfire,
5:02absolutely incredible for our cool down.
5:04Bitter cold plus one here and ignore
5:06invasion. Remember, hover over these so
5:07you can see as they go land as crit cuz
5:10some people were kind of ignoring this,
5:11thought this was PvP skills, but no,
5:13this can also apply to PvE as well. As
5:15you see, we do get a land as critical.
5:16Blaze, multi hit and a delayed damage.
5:19Our mana is just fine for the most part.
5:21Flame scatter shot can be changed to
5:22mobile and a multi hit. Winter's shackle
5:25is going to be some PvE damage boost and
5:27it adds to winter change skill for right
5:29now. But later on we will be diving into
5:31the cool downs. Wish of concentration,
5:34we're going to take plus 10 additional
5:35attack and plus 10 combat speed. At 16,
5:39we're eventually going to be taking the
5:40minus 10 seconds to all skill cool
5:42downs. Hellfire here, plus 30% damage,
5:45fire damage over time for 10 seconds on
5:47hit. I know it does seem really good,
5:48but top parsers [music] do not take this
5:50skill. They actually do take the plus
5:5230% and the ignore block and invasion.
5:55Yes, PvP, but the land as multi hit is
5:58what you really want. It's very very
5:59strong and does do a lot of damage. Some
6:01of you have done testing on training
6:03dummies, it doesn't always work properly
6:05there. You have to actually check it on
6:06bosses to see the proper damage data
6:08there. Next up here, a lot of you have
6:10had questions on this, that is the
6:11passive priority and what you should be
6:13focusing on. Your top priority right now
6:15should be Robe of Flame, as that's going
6:18to give you a large amount of damage
6:20boost. Then, Firemark should also be
6:23another top priority here. Grace of
6:25Enhancement should be third priority, as
6:28that's also going to give you another
6:30PvE damage boost. Robe of Earth is going
6:32to increase your critical damage when
6:34above 50% mana and for the most part
6:36you're going to be. Then, last up would
6:38be Vitality. The rest of them, like
6:41Grace of Resistance as well as Absorb
6:43Essence, I do typically recommend if you
6:45really need the defense, a different
6:47stigma, we'll get into that a bit here.
6:48But, those are the important ones that I
6:50would secure first for the top level to
6:52do the most damage. Next up here, we
6:54have your stigmas. The most important
6:56thing about stigmas is you want to hit
6:58breakpoints of at least five on all of
7:00the stigmas that you have in use. As
7:02majority of these are going to give
7:03really good extra damage. You can see
7:05here, additional extra damage and
7:07eventually even on Delayed Explosion,
7:09you're going to knock the cooldown down,
7:10so that's really good. And Elemental
7:12Enhancement is pretty much your top
7:14priority. So, if I had to go top to
7:16bottom, it'd be Elemental Enhancement,
7:18Delayed Explosion, Firewall, and Cold
7:20Storm. Essentially, you should all try
7:21to get them right now at least to level
7:23five. Some of you could probably push
7:24these to level 10. I know some of you
7:25are ahead of me, so if I had to push
7:27those to level 10, I wouldn't push all
7:28the way to 20 and have the rest of them
7:30knocked down. If you're struggling and
7:32you have survivability issues, this is
7:34where instead of the passives that you
7:36could go into, I would just grab Steel
7:38Barrier. It's very, very strong and it
7:40generally helps in some of the harder
7:41content. I use it all the time when I
7:42need to. So, I just swap out Cold Storm
7:45for your Steel Barrier. Okay, now that
7:47we have most of that set up here, we're
7:49now going to head into your Demanian
7:51board or board whatever you want to call
7:52it. And I'm just going to go through
7:53these very quick. You can screenshot
7:56these and if you need to as I go through
7:58the boards, really what we're grabbing
7:59here and what we're focusing on is
8:01obviously Firestorm, Hellstorm, and of
8:04course your Wish of Concentration. I've
8:06basically taken everything that we need
8:08here. Essentially, we're just avoiding
8:10the ones that I've avoided before, but
8:12we are grabbing things like flame
8:14scatter shot, fire mark, fire storm,
8:16grace of enhancement, winter shackle,
8:18blaze, etc. There. It's the pretty much
8:20the same order of what you're focusing
8:22on for your skills. Very quickly jumping
8:24back, it's essentially the same order
8:26here where we really want wish of
8:27concentration first, then we're going
8:30into things like fire storm, your flame
8:32[music] arrow, blaze is also a very high
8:35priority on that list, a bitter cold,
8:38winter shackle, and then hellfire. We
8:40want to at least get 12 so we can get
8:42this end of it. You can push it a tiny
8:44bit higher, will help a little bit of
8:45your damage, but you mostly want to hit
8:47those break points. Following these
8:48boards essentially, I'll go back through
8:50them, you'll pretty much have exactly
8:52what you need in order to have your
8:54abilities about as maxed as possible.
8:55Show off my asphodel board, but I
8:58currently don't really have much on it.
8:59I'm still working on a PvP build, so
9:01maybe we'll touch up on that later, but
9:03I don't have it very far yet, so no use
9:05to kind of showing that one off just
9:06yet. Okay, now that we have everything
9:09set in order, we can finally get on to
9:11the rotation. We can explain all the
9:14data here that we have to kind of
9:15corroborate and go with [music] why
9:17we're actually taking this rotation and
9:19some of the things that I've optimized
9:20from the previous build. So, I have
9:21separated these out from if you don't
9:23have your wish of concentration level 16
9:26yet, then this is how you're going to
9:29stack your abilities, or at least this
9:31is the rotation it should be. I'm going
9:33to go through these. It's pretty simple
9:34how I have this set up, I think, at
9:36least for the most part. I'm going to go
9:37into a macro set up here in a second as
9:39well, but I want to touch up on how this
9:40is going to work. So, essentially here,
9:42if you don't have a level 16 wish of
9:44concentration, it is going to be your
9:47first cast. You're then going to head
9:48into an elemental enhancement because it
9:50has a shorter cool down. Then we're
9:52jumping over into a delayed explosion,
9:55a winter shackle, then we can go into a
9:58hellfire. We can then jump back into
10:00fire wall,
10:01cold storm, and then we're using our
10:04last bit here, which is bitter cold,
10:06blaze, and fire storm. And then we're
10:09also rotating in flame arrow. I know
10:11there is some confusion with flame
10:13scatter shot and why is it grayed out?
10:15Flame scatter shot only works, this one
10:18right here, it only works when the boss
10:20is staggered. So it's not going to work
10:22on a training dummy. It's only going to
10:23work when a boss is staggered. Okay, now
10:25if you do have wish of concentration at
10:27level 16, then what you can do is you
10:30can swap it to the end of your rotation.
10:32It's that literally that simple. All
10:34we're doing is moving wish of
10:36concentration once it gets level 16 to
10:38here. That's it. It's going to be at the
10:40end of your rotation because of the cool
10:42downs you can get on it for the minus
10:44all to the cool downs. Here you'll see
10:46minus 10 second cool down. We don't have
10:48that yet. So for right now it's going to
10:50go here just like that. So that's the
10:52order. So essentially as we go up to a
10:54training dummy here, we can go ahead and
10:56cast wish of concentration then into our
11:00elemental enhancement, then we're going
11:01to light explosion, shackle, and then
11:04finish that one off. Then we go into a
11:05full hellfire where max it out,
11:08firewall, then a cold storm, and then
11:10we're going to use our right click to
11:11macro, and then now we're just using our
11:13auto cast until we actually get procs
11:16for that. So you're essentially going
11:18back and forth there. It doesn't matter,
11:19but that's essentially the rotation. Now
11:21that it knocked down a hellfire, we can
11:23now proc into a hellfire. Couple other
11:24things here that are very quick to note.
11:26I know there's been some commenters
11:28saying that if you proc a firewall first
11:31then a cold storm. So essentially what
11:32they're doing here is they're doing wish
11:34of concentration, the elemental
11:36enhancement, then they're doing firewall
11:38and a cold storm. Now this looks really
11:40good on a training dummy and will look
11:42fantastic for your DPS. Unfortunately,
11:44bosses are not always training dummies.
11:47Yes, sometimes they are and you can
11:48modify your rotation here, but a lot of
11:50times the boss is going to be moving all
11:53over the screen, especially when you
11:54first jump in depending on where your
11:55where your tank is doing, if you even
11:57have a tank at all. Some people are
11:59playing without tanks. The boss can go
12:01pretty much everywhere depending on
12:02which boss you're fighting. So I would
12:04always recommend if you know it's a
12:05stationary boss, you can go ahead and
12:07modify it. If not, I would still follow
12:09the rotation that I've given you because
12:11those few seconds that you're waiting
12:13for the boss to stand still, you could
12:14have already tossed out a delayed
12:16explosion and even gone into a winter's
12:19shackle. Actually kind of predict now
12:21when it's going to be stationary and
12:22then you can throw out your firewall and
12:24your cold storm and actually get
12:25appropriate damage on a boss. I also
12:27want to go over and address people
12:29talking about taking ice chain. Some
12:31people are taking frost burst and
12:33they're also taking frost. So a lot of
12:35people Some people are taking different
12:37abilities here and they've recommended
12:39different things, but I'm going to show
12:40you examples of why the damage share
12:42screenshots they can kind of lie to you
12:45here. A lot of people have been saying
12:46in the comments, ice chain gave me X
12:48damage so it must be a DPS increase, but
12:51in the ice chain plus cold wave test,
12:54those abilities accounted for around 15%
12:56of the displayed damage, yes. However,
12:59the sustained DPS still dropped because
13:02those actions actually displaced flame
13:04arrow for the rest of the fire engine.
13:07So yes, you can get more cast of frost
13:10burst out and you can get cast of these
13:13other abilities out, but that's going to
13:15hurt your flame arrow damage as you try
13:17to weave those in. So seeing yes, a
13:19skill do 15% of your damage, that
13:21doesn't mean it's removing the cost of
13:24your total percentage DPS. Now, frost
13:27burst is a little bit different here. If
13:29you're finding the rotation boring, it's
13:31potentially one that you can throw in
13:32there as well as frost burst. I wouldn't
13:35throw in both. I would pick one here.
13:37Frost burst isn't as bad. I have seen
13:39cases where it has done a little bit
13:41more DPS overall, about a 0.8%
13:44difference, but I have seen it also lose
13:46around 2 to 3% so it can hurt you
13:49depending on how high that guaranteed
13:51crit is, but in my controlled test, I
13:54still can't see a consistent net
13:56sustained gain from forcing it into your
13:58core single target rotation. Regardless,
14:00if you are finding the rotation of this
14:02engine a little bit boring, you can
14:04incorporate if you want. Just know, just
14:06because you're seeing 15% of your
14:08[music] damage go to one of these
14:09abilities does not mean it was a 15%
14:12damage increase because you are going to
14:14be getting less hits, in my testing,
14:16with the other abilities, even when you
14:18have an optimized macro or you're
14:20manually playing. The moment you guys
14:21have been waiting for is the macro setup
14:23with this. Now, I know a lot of people
14:24had questions on macro setup, so I'm
14:26going to kind of answer those as quickly
14:27as possible. Here is the full macro
14:30setup, so you can see it all the way top
14:32to bottom here. This is a pre level 16
14:35Wish of Concentration setup. Literally
14:37super simple. If you have a level 16
14:39Wish of Concentration, you're going to
14:40delete it and you're just going to put
14:42it all the way at the bottom here. Now,
14:44I had some people ask, they were trying
14:45to macro stuff and confused. They had
14:47essentially they had Blaze here like I
14:49did earlier, and they were like, "Why
14:51isn't Blaze showing up in my macro
14:53setup?" The reason why it doesn't show
14:54up in your macro setup, you actually, if
14:56you wanted it to show up in the macro
14:57setup, you got to have it in the bottom
14:58bar. Now, you don't have to have it on
15:00the bottom bar. What you can do is you
15:02can put Blaze or any ability in these
15:06different slots. When it goes to cast
15:08Winter's Chill,
15:10the macro is also going to check Blaze
15:12here, too. So, if you want to stack
15:14them, you still can, but this is just I
15:16figured making a little bit easier to
15:18set up. So, you can see all of your
15:19abilities, you can see all of the
15:20cooldowns, and essentially understand
15:23what's happening when you're doing your
15:24rotation. Now, I've also seen people
15:27spam abilities here. What they'll do is
15:29they'll put like three in a row. The
15:30problem with that is you're not really
15:32optimizing for your setup,
15:34>> [music]
15:34>> and in fact, that's adding 30 ms of
15:36delay. I would actually recommend
15:38testing much lower than that, and where
15:40you don't need to add anything, you can
15:42literally just head into this here and
15:44change your millisecond delay. Not even
15:46trying to be like that, I get they
15:47sponsored the video, but that's why I
15:48use Lag Zapper, cuz it actually really
15:49does help here. No jokes, I've had
15:51people even DM me about this, and they
15:53have said that they've experienced a lot
15:54better with that, so that's why I've
15:56said to recommend to use that if you
15:57can. If not, you can do some
15:59optimization here. So, I'm going to
16:00teach you how to do some optimization,
16:01even if you can't afford or get Lag
16:03Zapper. So, essentially here, if you
16:05have under 50 ping, which you can check
16:08with anything. If you have under 50 ping
16:10in game, I believe I have around usually
16:1147. Some of the damage meters can kind
16:14of tell you, and you can even check it
16:15in game as well. If you have under 50
16:17ping to the servers, 10 ms is a pretty
16:20good starting point. If you have over 50
16:22ping, you'll want to test with then 15
16:26ms and 20 ms realistically, especially
16:29if you're hitting into the hundreds of
16:31pings. If you have like a 100 ping,
16:33probably try to do 20 per of these
16:35ticks. You can experiment around and
16:37test them, but that is much better than
16:39just kind of slapping three in a row.
16:42You don't need to do that. You can just
16:43put 30 ms and it's a essentially the
16:46same there getting that delayed tick cuz
16:48it's going to wait that 30 ms in order
16:50to check the next thing in row. So, just
16:53test the numbers there rather than spam
16:55a bunch and do a default number, you can
16:57do the math much easier here by just
16:59essentially typing in the delay that you
17:01need because realistically putting three
17:02abilities in a row, that's just 30 ms.
17:04So, just go here and type 30 if you
17:06really needed to do that. From a lot of
17:08the research I've done, 10 to 20 is a
17:10really good range even if you're into
17:11the hundreds of ping. So, do that
17:13instead, test around. You can even try
17:15some abilities at 20, some abilities at
17:1710. Essentially, that's what you'll do
17:18there. Regardless, in order to get this
17:19as a three button macro setup, I'm going
17:22to teach you how to do that very quickly
17:23cuz a lot of people were confused on the
17:24macros. So, what we're going to do here
17:26is we're going to head into general
17:29and we're going to head into our macro
17:31button. We're going to put this on the
17:33right mouse click or right mouse button.
17:35And then you don't have to change
17:36anything else. Everything is set up here
17:38and ready to go. It's going to cast
17:39flame arrow weaves in between cuz it's
17:41on your left click. And what you're also
17:43going to do is bind a button to your
17:46mouse on your quick slot here. So, mine
17:48is this one. It is the back mouse
17:50button. Some people like the forward
17:52mouse button. So, once you bind it to a
17:54mouse button, essentially, Hellfire is
17:57going to be on a mouse button here. So,
17:59now what I can do is I can hold down
18:01right,
18:03left, and a mouse button and it's going
18:06to do my whole rotation and cast a full
18:10Hellfire. So, we're going to do our
18:11macro here and then we're going to hold
18:13down our Hellfire. You see we get a full
18:15cast of it. It's not going to be
18:17perfect, so just be wary there that it
18:19won't exactly be perfect on the
18:20rotation, but it's going to play through
18:22your entire rotation here for you with
18:25the full macro. And you'll see
18:27eventually we're going to a full
18:28hellfire. I have not touched anything on
18:30my keyboard. I'm only holding all three
18:32buttons at once. The right mouse button,
18:34left mouse button, and either your
18:35forward or back button put that with
18:37hellfire. And this will do your entire
18:39rotation for you and essentially will
18:40play the full game for you. Now you can
18:42move, you can use WASD. We went to
18:44hellfire there so we couldn't move for a
18:45second, but you can use WASD freely. You
18:47can take your hands off the keyboard.
18:49All you have to do is hold those three
18:51mouse buttons and it does the entire
18:53rotation, literally everything for you.
18:55But to just encapsulate everything here,
18:57wish 16 is my first number one major
19:00skill breakpoint before it's cooled down
19:02specialty, which goes first. If you have
19:03level 16, it goes last. Hellfire is
19:06still our biggest damage contributor,
19:08but we are staying on 30% plus the multi
19:11hit instead of rushing to level 16. Robo
19:13Flame is my first passive priority.
19:15Elemental Enhancement leads stigmas and
19:17advancement. The easy setup is flame
19:19arrow on left click, the rotation macro
19:21on right click, and hellfire on mouse
19:23button four or five. This optimized
19:25setup is the real boss control rather
19:27than just some massive training dummy
19:29DPS gap. We're testing what's happening
19:31on the actual field. Now we've got some
19:33real global boss data, the logs from
19:35myself showing the exact same core
19:37engine that I have been using since day
19:39one and that I have shown you guys.
19:41Finally getting past optimizing this
19:42entire build around a scarecrow and
19:44taking it into the real world. Curious
19:46though, drop your gear score, your
19:47two-man DPS, ping, macros, delays for
19:50you that actually help you optimize it,
19:52especially for those of you that need
