AI Trading Bot Guide: Build a Crypto Trading Bot in 10 Minutes — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Take a look at [music] what's on my
- 0:01screen. For the past 24 hours, trades
- 0:03have been executing themselves on the
- 0:05Ethereum blockchain, [music] and I
- 0:07genuinely haven't done a thing. The
- 0:09whole system is autonomous. This AI
- 0:11trading bot I put together takes care of
- 0:13everything from start [music] to finish.
- 0:15I've been sitting on this project for
- 0:17over 6 months without telling anyone,
- 0:19[music] and I thought it was finally
- 0:20time to put it out there. What you're
- 0:22seeing is a trading bot powered by AI
- 0:24that I built [music] from nothing, and
- 0:26it's been quietly making money in the
- 0:27background while I worked on other
- 0:28things. During this video, I'll walk you
- 0:30through exactly how it functions,
- 0:32>> [music]
- 0:32>> hand over the full source code, and show
- 0:34you real results from actual trades.
- 0:37It's been running non-stop for 6 months
- 0:39now, and because the blockchain keeps
- 0:40permanent public records, you can audit
- 0:42[music] any transaction at any time.
- 0:44What makes this easy to get into is that
- 0:46you don't need deep crypto knowledge or
- 0:48coding skills. I genuinely built this
- 0:50whole thing by working with ChatGPT as
- 0:53my coding partner, and I'm now passing
- 0:55it on to you. Your only job is to follow
- 0:57along with the setup I'm about to show.
- 0:59Let me explain the main concept. Imagine
- 1:01Ethereum being sold on two different
- 1:03decentralized exchanges at the same
- 1:05[music] moment. On Uniswap, the price is
- 1:07$2,430,
- 1:09and on Sushiswap, it's listed at $2,470.
- 1:13If you could grab it at the lower price
- 1:15and instantly flip it on the higher
- 1:16priced exchange, you'd walk away with
- 1:18$40. That's the basic idea behind
- 1:21arbitrage. Not too complicated, right?
- 1:24Here's the interesting part, and there's
- 1:26a safety net built right into the
- 1:27system. The bot works with what's known
- 1:29as a flash loan. To put it simply, it
- 1:32temporarily borrows a large sum, runs
- 1:34through the full trade, buying on the
- 1:36cheap exchange and selling on the
- 1:37expensive one, and then repays the loan,
- 1:40all inside one blockchain transaction.
- 1:42[music] Here's the critical detail. If
- 1:44something goes off track, like the
- 1:45prices move or the profit isn't
- 1:47meaningful, the whole operation reverses
- 1:49on its own. No money changes hands, and
- 1:52you lose [music] nothing. In practical
- 1:54terms, this means your own capital stays
- 1:56safe. You're not stuck holding a
- 1:58position and crossing your fingers, and
- 2:00there's no anxiety involved. The bot
- 2:02either spots a real opportunity and
- 2:03takes it, or [music] it keeps scanning.
- 2:05The absolute worst outcome is a few
- 2:08cents lost to network fees, and that
- 2:10really is the ceiling. [music] All
- 2:11right, let's pull up the code the AI
- 2:13helped me put together. I'll leave a
- 2:14link in the description, and we can get
- 2:16into the setup. Start by heading over to
- 2:18the development platform. Before you go
- 2:20further, make sure you have a wallet
- 2:22extension in your browser.
- 2:23>> [music]
- 2:23>> If you do, you're ready. If you don't,
- 2:26I've included an installation link
- 2:27below. Once you're on the platform, make
- 2:29a new file and name it whatever you
- 2:31like.
- 2:31>> [music]
- 2:36>> Paste the code right into the editor.
- 2:38Then scroll all the way up to the top.
- 2:40>> [music]
- 2:42>> There's some useful guidance about ideal
- 2:44conditions for running the bot, along
- 2:46with a technical breakdown of how it
- 2:47[music] all works. It's worth a couple
- 2:49of minutes to go through that.
- 2:55>> [music]
- 2:56>> Next, move over to the compile tab.
- 2:59Hit compile and give it a second.
- 3:03Perfect. No errors, so we can keep
- 3:05going.
- 3:07With the compilation done, head to the
- 3:08deploy and run transactions tab. Choose
- 3:11your wallet extension from the
- 3:12drop-down, and when the connection
- 3:13request comes up, approve it.
- 3:19>> [music]
- 3:21>> You should now see your wallet address
- 3:23and balance.
- 3:24>> [music]
- 3:26>> We're ready to deploy. Click deploy,
- 3:28keeping in mind there's a small fee.
- 3:30That's totally normal for putting smart
- 3:32contracts on the blockchain, so no need
- 3:34to worry. Confirm the transaction and
- 3:36let it process.
- 3:40>> [music]
- 3:44>> Excellent. Your system is now live and
- 3:46the control panel is ready.
- 3:47>> [music]
- 3:52>> Before anything else, please take a
- 3:54moment to click the verification link.
- 3:59Double-check that the owner address
- 4:00shown matches your wallet address. Think
- 4:02of it as a basic security step you
- 4:04really shouldn't skip.
- 4:10Now, it's time to fund the bot. The
- 4:11sweet spot is around 1 to 2 Ethereum or
- 4:14more, which lets it run at full
- 4:15efficiency. If you'd rather test first,
- 4:18you can go smaller. Half an Ethereum
- 4:20works for testing. The returns [music]
- 4:21won't be as big, obviously, but
- 4:23everything functions normally. I
- 4:25wouldn't drop below 0.5 Ethereum,
- 4:27[music] though, since gas fees can
- 4:29really cut into your returns and
- 4:30possibly your starting balance. To keep
- 4:32it simple, for best performance, 1 to 2
- 4:35or more Ethereum. For testing, 0.5
- 4:38Ethereum is enough. My main setup runs
- 4:40with 30 plus Ethereum, but even 3
- 4:43Ethereum is plenty to show the whole
- 4:44thing in action. Once your deposit goes
- 4:46through, refresh the page so the new
- 4:48balance shows up.
- 4:54>> [music]
- 4:59>> Everything looking right? Then hit the
- 5:01activation button to get the bot
- 5:02started.
- 5:05>> [music]
- 5:08>> There's one last transaction fee to
- 5:10approve.
- 5:17>> [music]
- 5:21>> And you're done. The system is now live
- 5:23and will keep running on the blockchain
- 5:25around the [music] clock, whether your
- 5:26computer is on or off. Open the
- 5:28blockchain explorer and you'll see
- 5:30transactions as the bot finds and
- 5:32executes profitable trades. I'll let it
- 5:34run for a while and come back to check.
- 5:37>> [music]
- 5:39[clears throat]
- 5:40>> I gave it some time to do its thing, so
- 5:42let's see what came out of it.
- 5:44Take a look. The bot ran trades
- 5:46completely on its and every transaction
- 5:49is right here in full view.
- 5:53I'm walking through each one, so you can
- 5:54see the real numbers. Everything ran
- 5:56exactly as it should. No hiccups, just
- 5:59clean, [music] steady execution. Nice.
- 6:02You can absolutely leave it running as
- 6:04long as you want, but for this demo, let
- 6:06me show you how to pull your funds back.
- 6:07[music]
- 6:08Head to the platform and hit the
- 6:09withdraw button.
- 6:12Wait for confirmation, then check your
- 6:14[music] wallet.
- 6:21You should see your original deposit
- 6:22along with whatever profit came in.
- 6:24Before I finish, there's a disclaimer I
- 6:26need to mention. This whole thing is
- 6:28strictly for educational and
- 6:30demonstration purposes.
- 6:31>> [music]
- 6:31>> It is not financial advice in any sense.
- 6:34I'm just documenting a technical
- 6:36experiment to show what's possible with
- 6:37the tools available today. If you've got
- 6:39technical questions, feel free to reach
- 6:41out using the info in the description.
- 6:43That pretty much covers it. I'm making
- 6:45these videos because I'm building a
- 6:46community around this channel before
- 6:48launching my own DeFi project. [music]
- 6:50If this tutorial was useful, the
- 6:52simplest way to help is by liking and
- 6:54subscribing. I'd also love to hear how
- 6:56it went for you. Share your results in
- 6:58the comments. I'm really curious to see
- 7:00how the bot performs with different
- 7:01setups.
