AI-Powered eLearning Development with Mindsmith | Going Beyond One-Click Course Creation Hype — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:06Hey there folks, Tim Slate here from the
- 0:08E-Learning Designers Academy. You know,
- 0:10gosh, if you've been on LinkedIn or
- 0:13social media or, I don't know, the
- 0:15internet in general for more than 5
- 0:17minutes over the past year or so, then
- 0:19you have been hit right in the middle of
- 0:20the face with all of the AI hype out
- 0:23there, right? Right? We hear claims of
- 0:24one-click course creation or build an
- 0:26entire training in 30 seconds or even
- 0:29replace your entire instructional design
- 0:31team with a single tool. Right? We've
- 0:32heard it all. And when you hear claims
- 0:34like that, I don't know about you, but
- 0:36it kind of makes you roll your eyes
- 0:37because if you've if you've ever
- 0:39actually done the work in this industry,
- 0:41in the real world, then you know it's
- 0:42really not that simple. And you know,
- 0:44good instructional design requires
- 0:46judgment and context and tradeoffs and
- 0:49decision-making even when you're using
- 0:51AI right now. Yeah, there are a lot of
- 0:54AI powered e-learning authoring tools on
- 0:55the market right now. And to be honest,
- 0:57a lot of them are just kind of I don't
- 0:59know, chat GBT with a prettier interface
- 1:01wrapped around them, right? But you know
- 1:03what? There's this newer tool that I've
- 1:05been experimenting with that's taking a
- 1:06more intentional approach and that tool
- 1:09is called Mindsmith. Now, Mindsmith is
- 1:12an e-learning authoring tool that
- 1:13applies generative AI across the entire
- 1:16development process. And what I
- 1:17appreciate most is that it's designed to
- 1:20support better instructional design
- 1:21decisions, not replace them, while still
- 1:24giving you full control to edit and
- 1:26refine and shape what you create with
- 1:28it. Now, before we dive in, I do want to
- 1:30mention that the folks at Mindsmith are
- 1:31sponsoring our March 2026 design
- 1:34challenge inside the e-learning
- 1:35designers academy. So, if after watching
- 1:37this video you want to try Mindsmith for
- 1:39yourself, maybe you want to build a new
- 1:41sample of work for your portfolio and
- 1:43enter to win not just a $100 Amazon gift
- 1:46card, but also a free year of Mindsmith
- 1:48and a brand new iPad Air. I know it's
- 1:51crazy. All courtesy of the team at
- 1:53Mindsmith. Then check out the details
- 1:55down below. And when you go to sign up
- 1:57for Mindsmith, make sure to enter Tim
- 1:59Slade as a coupon code to get 3 months
- 2:01off completely free. All right, let's
- 2:05jump in and see what's possible with
- 2:07Mindsmith. All right, so here I am on
- 2:09the Mindsmith web page and um you know,
- 2:12I got to tell you, their tagline right
- 2:13here on the front of the page is create
- 2:14better e-learning faster. And I have to
- 2:16tell you, playing around with Mindsmith
- 2:18uh over the last couple of weeks or so,
- 2:20that has definitely been the case, and I
- 2:21can't wait for you to see some of the
- 2:23really cool and impressive things that
- 2:24you can do with this tool. All right, so
- 2:27I'm going to go ahead and log into my
- 2:29account here. And once you log in here,
- 2:31let me get logged in. There we go. It'll
- 2:34bring you to your uh dashboard page
- 2:36where you can see all of the different
- 2:38projects or courses or lessons that you
- 2:40might have worked on. There's a lot
- 2:41here. I'm not going to go through
- 2:42everything. Most of it is pretty
- 2:44standard stuff that you would expect to
- 2:46see in terms of an authoring tool um and
- 2:50how you organize your projects and
- 2:51content and all of that stuff. So, what
- 2:53I'm going to do for uh this demo is
- 2:55we're actually going to create a lesson.
- 2:57And what I really want to focus in on is
- 2:59how you can use their AI agent to do a
- 3:02lot of the heavy lifting for you. Now,
- 3:03as I mentioned in the introduction, one
- 3:05of the really
- 3:08uh impressive things with Mindsmith and
- 3:10what I found to be the most important
- 3:11thing as I was playing with it is while
- 3:13the AI agent can do a lot of the heavy
- 3:17lifting for you in terms of creating
- 3:19content, organizing content, putting it
- 3:21into interactions and everything, you
- 3:23have complete editing control. So,
- 3:25you'll see as we go through this,
- 3:27there's going to be times where I'm
- 3:28going to intervene and make edits. And
- 3:30so, I want you to think of the agent as,
- 3:33you know, to use an AI term, like a
- 3:35co-pilot, right? That you get to work
- 3:37with along the way, right? All right.
- 3:39So, I'm going to go ahead and come up
- 3:41here and I'm going to create a um a new
- 3:44project. And there's two different types
- 3:46of projects you can create in Mindsmith.
- 3:49Um we have the option to create a lesson
- 3:50or a course. Now, a lesson is something
- 3:52that you would create that would be like
- 3:5410 to 20 minutes uh in length. And then
- 3:57a a course is a collection of lessons,
- 3:59right? So, if you're creating a a larger
- 4:00experience, you can create a full
- 4:02course, which is a combination of those
- 4:04lessons. I'm going to focus on a lesson
- 4:05here for now. The other thing that you
- 4:07can do that I think is really great is
- 4:08you can also import SCM packages, right?
- 4:10So, let's say hypothetically you've used
- 4:14another authoring tool and you have all
- 4:16of these published SCM packages. is you
- 4:18don't have the editable files anymore,
- 4:20but you have the SCM content, right?
- 4:22Well, one of the great things that you
- 4:23can do is you can upload that SCM
- 4:25content, which has traditionally been
- 4:27really uneditable, right? You can import
- 4:30that SCM content and then you can
- 4:32convert it easily into um Mindsmith,
- 4:36right, which is super awesome. So, I'll
- 4:38go ahead and click the option here to
- 4:39create a lesson. And it's going to bring
- 4:41us to this screen where we can start
- 4:43building out our lesson. Now, um this
- 4:46this screen is where we start
- 4:48interacting with the agent and where we
- 4:50start giving guidance for what it is
- 4:52that we're going to build here. Right
- 4:54now, before I talk about uh working with
- 4:56the agent up here, I'll come down here
- 4:58and I'll highlight a couple of things
- 5:00that you can do. You can always start by
- 5:01creating a blank project. So, like I
- 5:03said before, you have complete editing
- 5:05control. You're not required to use the
- 5:07AI features. I don't know why you
- 5:08wouldn't after you see some of the stuff
- 5:10that it can do, but you can create a
- 5:12blank course completely from scratch.
- 5:13And even once you've created the blank
- 5:15course, you can still start using the AI
- 5:17agent to do things with it, which is a
- 5:19really great feature. Um, and then you
- 5:21can, you know, start with some course
- 5:22templates down here like workplace
- 5:24safety or cyber security or
- 5:26communication skills and whatnot. Now,
- 5:28obviously, I can type in here and tell
- 5:30it what it is I'm going to build. I'll
- 5:32do that here in a moment. I can even
- 5:33give it objectives. So, if I've already
- 5:35written some objectives, uh, learning
- 5:37objectives, I can provide those. I can
- 5:39talk about writing style. I'll show you
- 5:40all of that. And then we also have the
- 5:42option for recipes here. Recipes are um
- 5:46like preset
- 5:49um actions that we might want uh the AI
- 5:52agent to do. So for example, one of the
- 5:54cool things that you can do is you can
- 5:56actually import a video and it can watch
- 5:58that video and convert that video into a
- 6:01course. One of the really cool demos
- 6:03that I saw um that I don't have time to
- 6:05show you here today is that you can
- 6:07import a video and the AI agent will
- 6:09actually take and extract screenshots
- 6:11from the video and build that into the
- 6:13course. Right? So, when you get a chance
- 6:14to play with Mindsmith, that might be
- 6:16something worth doing. So, there's all
- 6:18sorts of different um little recipes
- 6:21here that allow you to um I don't know
- 6:24preconfigure the agent in terms of what
- 6:26you want to do, right? So in this case,
- 6:28I'm probably going to I don't know,
- 6:30let's do a needs analysis. This is where
- 6:32it's going to ask me questions before
- 6:33making changes. I'll go ahead and select
- 6:36that, right? So that it it it asks me
- 6:39things about what I want to do with this
- 6:40content as we work with it. Now, uh I
- 6:44can also upload documents here. So let
- 6:46me start by typing in what I want. So um
- 6:49you know, I'll be honest with you, I'm
- 6:50not a I'm not a prompt uh expert. I
- 6:55found that I I just like talking to uh
- 6:58AI just like I was talking to another
- 7:00human being. So, you're going to see a
- 7:01little bit of that here. So, um it's the
- 7:05I should start typing, right? It's the
- 7:07start of a new year and we need to
- 7:12create a course for our
- 7:15farmy
- 7:17text
- 7:19leaders on how to give feedback to their
- 7:25pharmacy employees
- 7:29um
- 7:31at Gilbert's. That's going to be the
- 7:33name of this hypothetical company that I
- 7:35work at.
- 7:38And we
- 7:40want leaders providing feedback and
- 7:45coaching using the four steps of the
- 7:50grow model. I want to develop a course
- 7:56that
- 7:58teaches these skills but also gives
- 8:03leaders the chance to put them into
- 8:06practice. Ideally, the course will
- 8:10present the content as a storydriven
- 8:14experience with a character,
- 8:18examples,
- 8:21and a solid mix.
- 8:25Can't spell solid. Say solid mix of
- 8:29demonstration,
- 8:31explanation,
- 8:34and I can't spell explanation. We'll fix
- 8:36that. and practice right
- 8:39explanation
- 8:41I've attached
- 8:43um
- 8:46our leaders grow coaching
- 8:51model guide for reference right so what
- 8:55I'm going to do that's quite a long
- 8:57prompt but I'm wanting to give it a lot
- 8:59to say you know what's the issue that
- 9:01we're trying to solve here what it is
- 9:03that I want to build and also the type
- 9:05of experience I want to create. Do you
- 9:07have to type something that intricate?
- 9:09Probably not, right? But I want to see
- 9:11how much I can push this. So, I'm also
- 9:13going to upload some files here. And I
- 9:17have our grow coaching guide here for
- 9:20Gilberts, our hypothetical company. So,
- 9:22I'm going to go ahead and upload that.
- 9:24And it's uploading here. All right. So,
- 9:27it's uploaded that document. Now, before
- 9:29we hit the let's go button, I also have
- 9:32the option for writing style here. So, I
- 9:34can uh adjust the way that it generates
- 9:37content. Right. So, we're going to do uh
- 9:41conversational here. And no, Gemini, I
- 9:45don't need you right now. All right,
- 9:46let's go. Okay,
- 9:49so it's going to take everything. It's
- 9:51metamorphizing here. Hey there. Sounds
- 9:54like a fantastic project. Storydriven
- 9:55leadership development course on the
- 9:57grow model for your pharmacy tech
- 9:58leaders at Gilbert's. I love that you're
- 10:00thinking about demonstration,
- 10:01explanation, and practice. Yeah. Gosh,
- 10:03it's giving me some great feedback here.
- 10:04That's exactly how skills like coaching
- 10:06and feedback really stick. Let me take a
- 10:08look at your coaching guide first and
- 10:09then I'll ask you some questions to make
- 10:11sure we build the course exactly right
- 10:13for your team. Great. I've reviewed your
- 10:15grow coaching model guide. It's well
- 10:16structured covering the four steps,
- 10:18goal, reality, options, will way
- 10:20forward, sample questions for each and
- 10:22how it connects to Gilbert's core values
- 10:24and patient care. This gives me a solid
- 10:26foundation. Now, before I design
- 10:28anything, I want to make sure we build
- 10:30exactly what your team needs. Let me ask
- 10:32some questions to nail down the details.
- 10:34So, what I love about this is it's doing
- 10:35like its own little mini analysis. It's
- 10:38not just taking it and running with it.
- 10:40And this is one of the core things about
- 10:42the way Mindsmith works is that uh the
- 10:44way they've designed this AI agent is
- 10:46that it has really high guard rails for
- 10:49making sure what you create with it is
- 10:52as instructionally sound as possible.
- 10:54So, it's going to ask questions that
- 10:56gear what we create with it in that
- 10:58direction. Right. So tell me more about
- 11:00your pharmacy tech leaders. How many are
- 11:02there? What is their experience level
- 11:04with coaching? And have they been
- 11:06exposed to the grow or similar models
- 11:08before? So uh brand new to coaching,
- 11:10need fundamentals, some coaching
- 11:12experience but no formal framework,
- 11:14familiar with grow uh and a refresh and
- 11:17practice something else here. Right? So
- 11:19of course I could skip this but in this
- 11:21case we're going to say they have some
- 11:22coaching experience but no formal
- 11:24framework. All right. What are the most
- 11:27common coaching situations these leaders
- 11:29face? Accuracy errors, workflow issues,
- 11:31attendance, customer service. I'd like
- 11:33to build realistic scenarios they'll
- 11:35recognize. So, prescription accuracy,
- 11:38workflow efficiency and time management,
- 11:40customer service communication,
- 11:41attendance reliability. This is where
- 11:42I'm going to give it some detail. I'm
- 11:44going to write something else. We're
- 11:44going to say that these pharmacy techs
- 11:47get a little overwhelmed when they're
- 11:49busy doing pharmacy work and then
- 11:52customer service suffers as a result.
- 11:55So, we're going to say our pharmacy
- 11:58texts
- 12:00tend to struggle
- 12:04juggling their
- 12:06um prescription
- 12:09filling. I really can't type today. Work
- 12:12with maintaining
- 12:16good customer service. See, you're going
- 12:20to see how little I know how to spell.
- 12:22I'm just horrible at spelling.
- 12:25All right. So, I gave it that answer.
- 12:27Next. Okay. How long should this course
- 12:29take to complete? This helps me
- 12:31determine depth and how much practice to
- 12:32include. We're going to say a quick
- 12:34overview. 15 to 20 minutes. I mean, an
- 12:36e-learning course, 30 to 45 minutes, 60
- 12:39minutes. I don't think so. 15 to 20
- 12:41minutes, I would say. Okay. How we
- 12:43measure success? Do leaders need to pass
- 12:45a knowledge check, demonstrate skills in
- 12:46a scenario, or both? So, we can do
- 12:48knowledge check. We can do scenario
- 12:50based where they apply, grow, both quiz
- 12:51and scenario, just completion tracking.
- 12:53Let's do both quiz and scenario. You
- 12:55mentioned a story-driven experience with
- 12:57a character. Do you have a specific
- 12:58character in mind? A relatable leader at
- 13:00Gilbert's or should I create one? Any
- 13:02preference on who that character is?
- 13:03Create a character for me. A pharmacy
- 13:05tech leader. Use a mentor. I Let's have
- 13:08him create it for me. I mean, we're
- 13:10using AI. Let's see what it does. Okay.
- 13:14So, it took that information and it's uh
- 13:17prompted that back to Mindsmith and now
- 13:19it's processing the information. Let's
- 13:21see what it does. Okay. This is really
- 13:23helpful. I'm getting a clear picture.
- 13:25Leaders with some experience but no
- 13:26formal framework so we can move past the
- 13:29basics quickly. Move on to giving them a
- 13:31structured approach. The core challenge
- 13:32balancing prescription accuracy with
- 13:34customer service. Perfect tension for
- 13:36realistic scenarios. 15 to 20 minutes.
- 13:38Both quiz and scenario practice and a
- 13:41relatable peer character who learns
- 13:43along them. Not a distant expert, but
- 13:45someone they can actually identify with.
- 13:47Oh my gosh, it's like I'm talking to an
- 13:49instructional designer. Okay, so we have
- 13:51some more questions. How will leaders
- 13:53access this course? This helps me
- 13:54optimize design for the experience
- 13:55through an LMS shared link they can
- 13:57access on any device primarily on mobile
- 14:00tablets during breaks. Not sure yet.
- 14:02Let's do
- 14:05mobile tablets during breaks.
- 14:08No, we're going to do shared link. They
- 14:10can access any device. Okay. Will the
- 14:12tone fit Gilbert's culture best? Uh,
- 14:15should this feel corporate and polished
- 14:16or more conversational and down to
- 14:18earth? We're going to say uh
- 14:21professional and polished or a
- 14:22healthcare organization. Absolutely.
- 14:25After completing this course, what's the
- 14:26number one behavior change you want to
- 14:28see from these leaders? They use
- 14:30structured coaching conversations
- 14:31instead of just giving directives. They
- 14:33ask better questions and listen more
- 14:35during feedback. They follow up on
- 14:36coaching conversations with action
- 14:38plans. I'm going to say all of the
- 14:40above. Well, really, the grow coaching
- 14:43model is about asking questions to
- 14:45elicit solutions from who you're
- 14:47coaching. So, I'm going to say ask
- 14:48better questions. Okay. Should I
- 14:50incorporate Gilbert's branding, like the
- 14:52red Shield logo, specific colors into
- 14:54the course design or keep it neutral?
- 14:56Okay. I didn't even know it could do
- 14:57that. Holy moly. Previously, well, I was
- 15:00going to show you how you can edit the
- 15:02theme manually, but I didn't know it
- 15:03could pull the colors. So, we're going
- 15:06to have a pull the colors. What the
- 15:08heck? Okay, we're going into uncharted
- 15:12territory from my testing. So, we're
- 15:13going to see. I got to have a sip of
- 15:15water for this. It's germinating. Holy
- 15:17crap.
- 15:20Okay, excellent. I now have a complete
- 15:22picture of what you need. Let me
- 15:24summarize what I've learned and propose
- 15:25a plan for review. So, summary of
- 15:27requirements. So, we have the audience,
- 15:29core challenge, duration, tone, format,
- 15:31assessment, behavior, goal, branding,
- 15:33delivery.
- 15:35Yeah. Okay, that's all spot on. Propo
- 15:37proposed core structure. Now, this is
- 15:38another thing what I really love as I've
- 15:40been playing with Mindsmith. It's not
- 15:41just going to go straight into
- 15:42development. We're going to go through a
- 15:44whole storyboarding stage where it's
- 15:45going to show us like an outline of the
- 15:47content structure. We can make edits at
- 15:49that stage too. Okay. So, given the 15-
- 15:5120 minute time frame, here's what I'm
- 15:52thinking. Introduction, meet the
- 15:54character, why grow, the four steps,
- 15:56knowledge check, practice scenario. Does
- 15:58the structure feel right? Any
- 15:59adjustments before I build the
- 16:01storyboard? I have some adjustments I
- 16:03want to make, but I'm going to save
- 16:04those for once we see the story board.
- 16:07So, I'm going to say great work, you
- 16:10know, because it's AI still, right? So,
- 16:11let's be nice to it. Um, let's build
- 16:16that storyboard.
- 16:19Well, bam.
- 16:23It's doing okay.
- 16:26Stargazing.
- 16:29Makes me wonder what I'm doing. I'm
- 16:31prompting.
- 16:33The future is now. Okay, let's do this.
- 16:36I'll build up the storyboard now based
- 16:37on everything we discussed. Now, this is
- 16:39the other thing that's so cool. It gives
- 16:40Oh, you missed it there, but there's a
- 16:41to-do list, and I'll I'll show that up
- 16:43here in a moment. Okay. So, what it's
- 16:45doing now is it's taking all that
- 16:46content, everything I gave it, and it's
- 16:50creating a story board. Um, and this
- 16:53story board outlines, you know, the
- 16:56title, the description, it gives us some
- 16:59objectives, it has the resources here,
- 17:02and now it's going to start building the
- 17:03pages. So, we're going to give it some
- 17:04time, and I'll use the magic of editing
- 17:06to speed this up.
- 17:13All right. So, it's gone ahead and
- 17:16created our storyboard. And as I
- 17:18mentioned a moment ago, we have the
- 17:19title. We have uh a bit of the summary
- 17:22here. We have some objectives here, the
- 17:25resources that we've uploaded. I could
- 17:26always add more if I need to, which
- 17:28we'll do that here in a little bit. And
- 17:29then it defines each of the pages here.
- 17:31Now what it does is it outlines the page
- 17:34uh the title a bit of a description and
- 17:37then it references which objective uh
- 17:39you can see those tagged here which
- 17:41objective is being accomplished for each
- 17:44part of uh the storyboard. So each of
- 17:46these are little pages or sections that
- 17:50we can um move around and edit. So as I
- 17:53scroll through this, we have why
- 17:54coaching matters, the grow coaching
- 17:56model, uh step one the goal, step two,
- 17:59reality, step three option, step four
- 18:01will way forward. We have our knowledge
- 18:03check here with some questions, practice
- 18:05scenario, turn, uh your turn to coach
- 18:08and wrap up and coaching. Now, um we see
- 18:11all of that here. I can always come back
- 18:13to the agent here and you can see it
- 18:15gives me a summary here. So it's done.
- 18:17If we look at the to-do list here, it
- 18:19set the lesson title, descriptions,
- 18:21define the learning objectives, created
- 18:22a storyboard page, present the
- 18:24storyboard for review. So, we have our
- 18:25our checklist of things. So, your
- 18:27storyboard is ready for review. Here's
- 18:29what I've created. It gives us that
- 18:31outline here. Outlines all of these
- 18:32pages. Take a look at the storyboard on
- 18:35your screen. Does it does the flow feel
- 18:36right? Any changes? The character's
- 18:38name, uh, the scenario focus, the page
- 18:41structure or length. Let me know what
- 18:43you think. So, as we look at this, I do
- 18:45want to make a change. I think what I
- 18:47want is I would like there to be some
- 18:50coaching as we cover each step, right? I
- 18:53don't want it to be just a bunch of
- 18:54content presentation, a knowledge check,
- 18:56and then practice at the end. So, I'm
- 18:58going to say this looks great. However,
- 19:02I'd like to see some practice scenarios
- 19:07presented for each step of the grow
- 19:13model, not just a bunch of content
- 19:17presentation
- 19:19followed by a quiz
- 19:22and then practice at the end. So, some
- 19:28type of practice
- 19:32scenarios along the way for each step
- 19:36would be great. Explanation point so it
- 19:40knows that I'm excited.
- 19:43Okay, let's see what it does. It's
- 19:44perplexing.
- 19:46[sighs]
- 19:49It's absorbing now.
- 19:55Okay, great feedback. You're absolutely
- 19:56right. Irrelevant practice throughout is
- 19:59much better for skill building than
- 20:01front-loading all that content. Let me
- 20:03restructure each grow step um so it has
- 20:07its own practice scenario after the
- 20:09explanation. So, it's it's updating the
- 20:10storyboard. So, we'll give it a few
- 20:12moments here and go from there.
- 20:18All right. So, it's gone ahead and
- 20:21uh updated the storyboard here. So, if
- 20:24we look at the outline, revised
- 20:26structure, a familiar challenge, that's
- 20:28our introduction, why coaching and grow
- 20:31overview, uh step one, goal practice,
- 20:34reality practice. So, we can see that
- 20:36kind of, you know, content presentation
- 20:39practice. Then we have our knowledge
- 20:40check and wrap-up. Each growth step now
- 20:42has a learn practice pairing. Uh the
- 20:45Prius scenario runs as a continuous
- 20:47thread. learners coach her throughout
- 20:48all four steps. The final quiz is now a
- 20:51quick confirmation, not the main
- 20:52assessment. That's great. Does this feel
- 20:54more balanced? So, I think we're feeling
- 20:56good about that uh storyboard. Now, um
- 20:59even after we finalize the storyboard,
- 21:01we can still make edits, right? And I
- 21:02have some of that up my sleeve here. So,
- 21:04we're going to go ahead and say build
- 21:06the lesson here, which is going to go
- 21:08ahead and build this out.
- 21:10And it's freestyling it. That's pretty
- 21:12cool. Okay, we'll give it a moment to
- 21:14build the lesson.
- 21:16Okay, let's build this lesson. I'll
- 21:17create engaging pages with a good mix of
- 21:19content, titles, visuals, or tiles,
- 21:22visuals, and interactive scenarios. We
- 21:24have a new to-do list, and it's going to
- 21:25go ahead and build that out. And again,
- 21:29as before, with the magic of editing,
- 21:31I'm going to let it do its thing.
- 21:38All right. So, I'm going to pause here.
- 21:39So, um, it's still building the lesson
- 21:42here, but it took us away from the
- 21:44storyboard, and now it's bringing us
- 21:45into the actual editor here. And as it
- 21:48builds it, you're going to see things
- 21:49moving around on the screen cuz this is
- 21:51the agent actually doing the work for
- 21:53me. Um, but you can see up here there
- 21:55was the storyboard. Now, we're in the
- 21:56editor. And you can see here, it's
- 21:58building the pages here on the left hand
- 22:00side. Uh, and it's doing everything from
- 22:02generating imagery, generating the
- 22:04content, generating the interactivity.
- 22:07Oh my goodness. and it's coming together
- 22:09here, which is insane. So, we're going
- 22:12to keep letting it go here in a moment.
- 22:14And as I scroll through this, we have a
- 22:16character here. We have our uh
- 22:18introduction. This is insane. Still
- 22:22generating some images for each of these
- 22:24pages, right? So, we're going to let it
- 22:26go for a moment.
- 22:34All right. So that maybe took I don't
- 22:37know two and a half maybe three minutes
- 22:39to uh generate the entire lesson based
- 22:44off of what we've planned here. And it
- 22:46did it didn't just generate the content
- 22:48it generated the structure of the
- 22:49content interactivity which I assume is
- 22:52in here. If not we'll add it images
- 22:56everything right. It it's it's gotten me
- 22:59to the point where I have an MVP of a
- 23:01course. I don't know how long have we
- 23:03been recording. 10 minutes. I don't
- 23:06know. That's insane, right? So, um, it's
- 23:09still, uh, finishing up some of the
- 23:11images here. So, let's see what it said.
- 23:13Let's come back up here. So, we have all
- 23:15of the pages here. It just gives us this
- 23:17kind of outline here. What's included?
- 23:19Hero sections with background images for
- 23:21each gross step. Elena's story running
- 23:23through the content as demon uh,
- 23:25demonstration. four branching scenarios
- 23:27with Priya accordians for sample
- 23:29coaching questions, quote call outs,
- 23:30three uh quiz questions, action
- 23:33challenge uh to apply in the job. Take a
- 23:36look through the lesson and let me know
- 23:39what you think uh any adjustments to the
- 23:41content scenarios or visual design.
- 23:43Right. All right. So, I'm going to click
- 23:44out of the agent here and we have the
- 23:46course. Now, before we continue forward
- 23:47a little bit uh about the structure of
- 23:51how a course in Mindsmith is structured,
- 23:54right? So over here on the left hand
- 23:57side, this is where we can navigate
- 23:59through the entire lesson and we have
- 24:01multiple pages here. Think of these as
- 24:03like blocks or sections, right? And then
- 24:05over here, obviously, we can see we're
- 24:07in this page here and I can scroll down
- 24:09here and that's where it ends. And then
- 24:11I can navigate here. Of course, I can
- 24:13drag and move those around if I want to
- 24:14reorder it. Pretty straightforward. I
- 24:17can always add a new page here. And as
- 24:20I've highlighted before, you have
- 24:21complete editing control over everything
- 24:23here. This isn't like you generate
- 24:25something with AI and you can't edit it.
- 24:27You have to keep prompting and prompting
- 24:28and prompting. No, you can edit
- 24:30everything here. So, I can add, you
- 24:32know, all sorts of different elements
- 24:33here. Uh, headers, paragraphs, I can add
- 24:36multiple choice questions, embed stuff
- 24:38like videos, um, code blocks, all of
- 24:41the, you know, standard interactions
- 24:43that you can imagine. Uh, blank page
- 24:46section divider, I can create page
- 24:47templates. So, you know, it's a
- 24:49full-fledged authoring tool in that
- 24:51sense, right? And then as we're on the
- 24:54page here itself, all of these elements
- 24:56are referred to as tiles in Mindsmith.
- 24:59Right? So here we have a tile here and
- 25:01we can move it around. There's options
- 25:03here where we can adjust the spacing,
- 25:05the size, um, all of that sort of stuff.
- 25:08I can change the background image. I can
- 25:10upload my own image. All of that sort of
- 25:12stuff. Here's a text tile. Uh, I can
- 25:14edit this. So all of it is completely
- 25:16editable um, in Mindsmith, right? Um, so
- 25:20let's scroll through here and see what
- 25:21we have here. So, I'm gonna, you know
- 25:23what? Before we make any edits, let's
- 25:24just preview what it created right out
- 25:27of the box or the agent. I don't know
- 25:30what to refer to that anymore. I'm going
- 25:32to go ahead and preview it up here with
- 25:33this play button.
- 25:35And we have coaching with grow uh
- 25:38guiding better conversations. Okay. Meet
- 25:40Ellena. Elellena has been a pharmacy
- 25:42tech leader at Gilbert's for 2 years.
- 25:43She knows her team well and takes pride
- 25:45in developing her people. Today, she
- 25:47needs to have a conversation with
- 25:48Marcus, one of her strongest texts.
- 25:50She's noticed a pattern. When the
- 25:51pharmacy gets busy, Marcus focuses so
- 25:54intensely on filling prescriptions
- 25:55accurately that customers sometimes feel
- 25:58feel ignored. At the counter, Elena
- 26:00wants to help Marcus improve, but she's
- 26:02not sure how to have this conversation
- 26:04without feeling like criticism. Without
- 26:06a feeling like criticism, she's heard
- 26:08about a coaching framework called Grow.
- 26:10She decides to give it a try. Follow
- 26:12along as Elena learns to coach with
- 26:15Grow. So we'll click continue here.
- 26:17Again, we're going to the next page
- 26:19here. So why coaching matters? Uh you
- 26:21know, when we jump straight to telling
- 26:23someone what to do, they may comply, but
- 26:25they don't own the solution. Coaching is
- 26:27different. Um so we have a little quote
- 26:29here. Uh we have the grow model, a
- 26:31four-step framework. So we'll start
- 26:32that. We see here a little um uh I don't
- 26:36know what to call this, like a tabbed
- 26:37interaction. So we have G for goal. What
- 26:40does improvement look like? There's a
- 26:42good opportunity here where we could
- 26:43probably add some more content to each
- 26:45of these, but it's a simple little
- 26:47interaction there. We'll wave forward.
- 26:49Okay, let's walk through each step with
- 26:51Elellena.
- 26:53Okay, step one, goal. Clarify what
- 26:55success looks like. All right, Ellena's
- 26:57approach. Elellena starts by helping
- 26:59Marcus clarify what success looks like.
- 27:01Vague goals lead to vague results. We
- 27:04have a quote here. Marcus, I want to
- 27:05talk to you about how we can help uh you
- 27:07balance your prescription work with your
- 27:09customer interactions. What would it
- 27:11look like if we were doing both really
- 27:13well? Right? So, what specifically would
- 27:15you like to improve? Open the
- 27:16conversation. Invites the employee to
- 27:19identify their own focus area.
- 27:22How will you know that you've achieved
- 27:23this? Help define measurable success
- 27:26criteria. What does success look like?
- 27:27So, we're just going over the principle.
- 27:29We could probably make this image a
- 27:31little bit bigger. We'll work on editing
- 27:32that. Continue.
- 27:35All right. So, practice setting the
- 27:36goal. Now, it's your turn. You're
- 27:38coaching Priya, a pharmacy tech who's
- 27:39been making occasional data entry errors
- 27:41when the pharmacy is busy. Which opening
- 27:44question best helps Priya define a clear
- 27:46specific goal? Again, so you know, the
- 27:49information I provided that I uploaded
- 27:51was a really simple three-page coaching
- 27:53guide on grow. So, it's generated all of
- 27:56this, right? And again, I'm going to be
- 27:58able to edit all of this. So, you've
- 27:59noticed Priya making data entry errors.
- 28:01How do you open the conversation? So, we
- 28:03have a couple options here. What would
- 28:04it look like if you were entering
- 28:06prescriptions accurately? Even during
- 28:07our busiest times, you've been making
- 28:09too many errors lately. What are you
- 28:11going to do about it? Okay, obviously
- 28:13that's wrong. I'll get it wrong. This
- 28:15puts Priya on defensive. It's act it's
- 28:17accusatory. It doesn't help uh her
- 28:19envision a positive goal. All right. Um
- 28:23Priya looks uncomfortable. I'm trying my
- 28:25best. It just gets really hectic. The
- 28:27defensive tone tells you the approach
- 28:29isn't working. Let's try a different
- 28:30question. So again, it's it's created a
- 28:31branching scenario. This is amazing.
- 28:34Okay, I understand. Let me rephrase.
- 28:36What would it look like if you were
- 28:37handling busy periods really well? I
- 28:39need you to slow down and double check
- 28:40your work. Okay, you can see her
- 28:42expression has changed. I'm gonna let's
- 28:44make the situation better. Okay, so her
- 28:47expression has changed. I understand.
- 28:48Let me rephrase that. Good recovery.
- 28:51Reframing the question to focus on
- 28:53success rather than failure helps Priya
- 28:55engage constructively. Nice recovery
- 28:58complete. All right, so a little little
- 29:01scenario. Step two, reality. Okay, we
- 29:03have an image here. We need to update
- 29:05there. That's a little odd there, but
- 29:07that's okay. That stuff happens. So,
- 29:09Ellen is approached. Next, Ellena
- 29:10explores what's actually happening today
- 29:12without blame or judgment. The goal is
- 29:14shared understanding, not interrogation.
- 29:16Help me understand what's going on when
- 29:18things get busy. What happens in those
- 29:20moments when customers are waiting?
- 29:22Okay. What's currently working well?
- 29:25What gets in the way? So, we have some
- 29:27coaching here.
- 29:29And then we continue on with the
- 29:32scenario. And now we're going to do it
- 29:33with Pria, right? So we'll continue on.
- 29:35Let's go through this. Okay, that image.
- 29:37We'll fix that image here in the
- 29:39background.
- 29:41Okay, so we have this back and forth
- 29:43structure structure. This is exactly
- 29:45what I asked it to create, right? And so
- 29:47we'll continue on down here.
- 29:51We get to practice
- 29:53and then we have our knowledge check
- 29:54here. So what's the primary purpose of
- 29:56the reality step and grow? to assign
- 29:58blame for the problem to understand
- 30:00what's currently happening without
- 30:01judgment to set performance expectations
- 30:04to create an action plan I think it's
- 30:05number two submit there we go we have
- 30:08some feedback so we have our quiz there
- 30:09right so you can see it's it's it's
- 30:11built out this course now are there
- 30:12opportunities for improvement of course
- 30:14there are right and this is why you
- 30:16still need a human in the loop when it
- 30:17comes to AI stuff but despite those
- 30:20small opportunities those images and
- 30:23whatnot I mean again you know in a few
- 30:28minutes, less than 20 minutes, it's
- 30:30gotten me an MVP, a pretty good MVP, uh,
- 30:33for a course. So, let's go ahead and go
- 30:35back to editing this, right? And we can
- 30:38edit our course. Now, I can go in and
- 30:40make manual edits if I wanted to. So,
- 30:42for example, you know, let's say here I
- 30:46wanted to make this a little bit bigger.
- 30:48I can come in here and scroll this down.
- 30:50You can see it makes that image bigger.
- 30:52So, that's a simple little edit just
- 30:54like it's, you know, like it is on this
- 30:56page. So that's all good. You can even
- 30:58see these c um these characters are
- 31:01consistent. I mean, how amazing is that,
- 31:04right? If I wanted to, I can come in
- 31:06here and manually edit uh the
- 31:08experience.
- 31:10And you can see it brings me into this
- 31:11node module. So again, you can
- 31:13completely edit uh these branching
- 31:16scenarios and build them however you
- 31:18want, right? And I can come in here,
- 31:20edit the dialogue, edit the options,
- 31:23change the character. Maybe I want it to
- 31:25be Julian to be a pharmacy tech. And I
- 31:27can come in here and do that with all of
- 31:31those characters, right? And then it
- 31:33detects, you know, character changed.
- 31:34Would you like to replace all? Let me go
- 31:36back and do this one. See if it brings
- 31:38up that. Yep. So, I'll replace all. And
- 31:40then it updates it. Right. So, it's
- 31:43detecting. It's following what I'm doing
- 31:44as I'm doing it. It's helping me get
- 31:47things done, which is super super easy,
- 31:49right? And of course, um, I can come
- 31:52back and do that with all of those here
- 31:54as well, right? So, I can manually edit
- 31:56all of this stuff. So, let's try a few
- 31:59things with the AI agent, right? So
- 32:02let's say um you know uh the images in
- 32:07the hero section of each page
- 32:12um
- 32:14for each step are
- 32:17a bit distracting.
- 32:23Some of them have text
- 32:27etc. Can we replace these with
- 32:33um
- 32:38wide shot images of a pharmacy
- 32:44without text? Let's see what it does. I
- 32:46have no idea. Okay. Uh
- 32:50I think wide shots two words. Who knows?
- 32:52Let's see what the agent does. It's
- 32:54puzzling.
- 33:03So, absolutely. I'll replace those hero
- 33:05background images with clean wide shot
- 33:07pharmacy images. No text or abstract
- 33:09graphics. Thank you. That's exactly what
- 33:12I wanted. So, we'll give it a moment to
- 33:13do that.
- 33:16Actually, I'm not going to fast forward.
- 33:18We're going to watch it as I do it. You
- 33:19can see it's literally doing it right
- 33:20now, which is amazing.
- 33:23Done. I've updated all four grow
- 33:25coaching step hero images with clean
- 33:27wide shot pharmacy interiors. No text,
- 33:29no people, just professional pharmacy
- 33:30environments. The images are generating
- 33:32now and should appear shortly. Okay,
- 33:35we'll give it a moment.
- 33:40Okay, I think it finished.
- 33:42Um, let's minimize the agent. So, there
- 33:45we go. That's a much better image. Yeah,
- 33:48these are much better images for that
- 33:50hero section, right? Of course, there's
- 33:51some adjustments we can continue making,
- 33:53but those are pretty good. I like that.
- 33:56All right. So, as we're working through
- 33:59building our course, there might be
- 34:00moments where you go, "Hey, you know,
- 34:02ame just delivered me more information,
- 34:04right? Or you go through the edit uh
- 34:07review cycle with the stakeholder and
- 34:08like, hey, we forgot to do this, right?"
- 34:11And this is again where we can add more
- 34:12content, feed more information to the
- 34:15agent, and they can update the course
- 34:17for us, which is amazing. So, I'm going
- 34:19to say, um, I just got feedback from a
- 34:24stakeholder that we need to make sure
- 34:28this course aligns with our Gilbert's
- 34:32core values. I've attached our core
- 34:37values document. Can you
- 34:42uh read through
- 34:46it and make sure the and let's not make
- 34:50sure let's and update the course content
- 34:54to
- 34:56highlight
- 34:58the values throughout.
- 35:01Um before you make any edits, provide a
- 35:05summary for me first. Okay, let's add
- 35:09those. I'm going to add a resource. And
- 35:12we have our core values here. So, we're
- 35:14going to throw those in there. This is
- 35:15just a simple, you know, document that
- 35:18outlines what the core values are. Open
- 35:21that. We're going to attach that.
- 35:27Give it a moment.
- 35:32All right. Send.
- 35:38Okay, let me read through the Gilbert's
- 35:40core values document first. It's reading
- 35:42it.
- 35:45Okay, let's go back up here. I have
- 35:48reviewed the Gilbert's core values
- 35:50document. Here's my summary and proposed
- 35:51integration plan. Three interconnected
- 35:53values guide every interaction
- 35:55Gilbert's. putting patients first,
- 35:57prioritizing patient safety, a clean uh
- 36:00welcoming environment, maintaining
- 36:01organized professional spaces,
- 36:03delivering efficient visits, and
- 36:04accurate scripts, prescriptions, balance
- 36:07speed with precision. Key insights from
- 36:09the document. Every performance,
- 36:10conversation, coaching, interaction, and
- 36:12improvement plan should reflect these
- 36:14values and action. Yes. So, what's the
- 36:16proposed integration plan? Here's how I
- 36:18weave the values throughout. So, page
- 36:20two, why coaching matters, general intro
- 36:22to coaching, an explicit connection.
- 36:25Page three. D I feel pretty good about
- 36:27this. Yeah, this looks good. Let's do
- 36:33it.
- 36:40It's gardening.
- 36:43Okay, let me get the current lesson
- 36:45state. Uh, and it's going to give us
- 36:48another to-do list. It's going to make
- 36:49the exact updates and then they'll
- 36:52integrate the values throughout.
- 36:58All right. So, it's gone ahead. It's
- 37:00gone through the entire course and it's
- 37:03integrated our core values and it's
- 37:05giving me a summary here of everything
- 37:07that it's done. I've navigated you to
- 37:10page two so you can see the new values
- 37:12introduction. Scroll through the course
- 37:14to review how the values are woven into
- 37:16each step. I mean, isn't that amazing?
- 37:18It's just it took me to what it wanted
- 37:20to show me.
- 37:23That's insane, right? So, why coaching
- 37:25matters? Here we have uh some values
- 37:28information here. We start, we move
- 37:30forward through here, right? Again, I
- 37:33might want to reorder some of this just
- 37:34for the sake of flow, but it did a
- 37:36really good job incorporating that uh
- 37:40throughout the course here. Okay. So,
- 37:42you can see the new values introduction.
- 37:43Scroll through the course to review how
- 37:45the values are woven into each grow
- 37:46step. Let me know if you'd like to make
- 37:47any adjustments or wording placement.
- 37:49Okay. This is good. All right. So now
- 37:51what I want to show you is let's move on
- 37:53to another really cool feature inside
- 37:57Mindsmith that they just are starting to
- 37:59launch and roll out here and this is the
- 38:01ability to create AIdriven
- 38:03conversations. So let's pretend let's
- 38:06say down here at the end I wanted to
- 38:10incorporate
- 38:13like a pulling it all together, right?
- 38:15So, I'm going to do a new page and we're
- 38:18going to do I'm just going to start with
- 38:20a blank page, right? And we're going to
- 38:23call this, you know, pulling it all
- 38:26together, right? And I'll have it edit
- 38:30all of this, but I'm going to add a
- 38:31tile. And you're going to notice there's
- 38:33an option up here. We did we looked at
- 38:34the scenarios before, the branching
- 38:36scenarios like we have here. You can
- 38:37create those here. Um, you can do video,
- 38:39but there's also conversations. And I
- 38:41guess while I'm here, I should mention,
- 38:42you know, there's all these different
- 38:43tiles that you see here, right? All
- 38:45sorts of different interaction tiles. Um
- 38:47there's tables, quotes, notes, line
- 38:49break, spacer, section markers,
- 38:51timelines, you can add buttons, you can
- 38:53create nonlinear courses, you can do
- 38:55multiple choice questions, feedback. I
- 38:57mean, there's a lot of what you would
- 38:59expect in any type of e-learning
- 39:00authoring tool. You can build that in
- 39:02here, right? I'm going to select the
- 39:04option for conversation.
- 39:06Now, the conversation is going to allow
- 39:08us to create an interaction where I, as
- 39:11the learner, I'm going to be interacting
- 39:13with my voice with an AI character, and
- 39:17it's almost instantaneous. It's amazing
- 39:21how how quickly and easily and smoothly
- 39:23it works. So, I'm going to start with a
- 39:25template, right? I don't I don't want to
- 39:27create it from scratch. I'm going to
- 39:28start with a template. And we have some
- 39:29templates here. So, sales objection
- 39:31handling, critical thinking discussion,
- 39:33medical knowledge assessment, difficult
- 39:35conversation practice. I think that's
- 39:37the one we're going to do. There's even
- 39:38a language profic proficiency check.
- 39:40That's super cool. We're going to do
- 39:41this roleplay. Difficult conversation
- 39:43practice. Okay. And it's going to create
- 39:45this. In this role play, you'll practice
- 39:47delivering constructive feedback in
- 39:48difficult conversations. Jordan has been
- 39:50underperforming recently. Blah blah blah
- 39:52blah blah. Right now,
- 39:54uh that's just the default template, but
- 39:57we can edit the template. Right? So, I'm
- 39:59going to go to the agent and say, "Hey,
- 40:01I just added a new page, page 11, as a
- 40:08pulling it all uh together section. In
- 40:12this uh page, I've added a conversation
- 40:19um based on
- 40:22the difficult
- 40:25conversation template. I'd like this uh
- 40:30conversation to be edited
- 40:34so that it aligns with the four steps of
- 40:38the grow model. I [snorts] can't spell
- 40:42edited. I can't spell anything today.
- 40:44Okay. See what it does.
- 40:48It's meandering
- 40:52and untangling.
- 40:55Okay. Let me take a look at the
- 40:56conversation tile you've added to
- 40:58understand its current structure. It's
- 41:00looking over the lesson. I can see the
- 41:02conversation tile. It's currently using
- 41:03a difficult conversation template with
- 41:05five agenda items. Let me restructure it
- 41:07to align with the grow models four steps
- 41:10and update the objectives and guardrails
- 41:12to match the grow coaching principle.
- 41:19Okay, it's making some edits to it.
- 41:29done. I've restructured the conversation
- 41:31to align with the grow model. Here's
- 41:34what changed. So, it changed the
- 41:36scenario. It changed the agenda. I mean,
- 41:39it built an entire AIdriven conversation
- 41:41based off of this course. So, now it's
- 41:44time to put all four grow steps together
- 41:47into a realistic coaching conversation.
- 41:49You'll coach Jordan, a pharmacy tech
- 41:51who's been struggling with balancing
- 41:52prescription accuracy and customer
- 41:54service during busy periods. Guide
- 41:56Jordan through a full grow model. We
- 41:58have the four steps here and what we
- 42:00need to accomplish.
- 42:02Holy crap. How cool is that? Right now,
- 42:04before I continue, I'm I'm going to go
- 42:06through this how I would normally do
- 42:07this. I just noticed like this doesn't
- 42:09look like the rest of the course. Um,
- 42:11for this page, can you add a hero
- 42:16section and title along with a along
- 42:21with some text about pulling it all to
- 42:26together?
- 42:28That way, this page feels like
- 42:32it's, you know, uh, consistent with the
- 42:37rest of the course.
- 42:40Wow.
- 42:44So, I'm just guiding it. It's doing the
- 42:46work. That's amazing.
- 42:51And you can see it just edited it. Gave
- 42:54it a little hero section. Put your
- 42:56skills to the test. You've practice each
- 42:57gross step individually. Now, it's time
- 42:59to bring it all together. So, it's
- 43:00giving content that's in context to the
- 43:03rest of the course, which is super super
- 43:05cool.
- 43:08We're going to let it generate that
- 43:10image and then we're going to give this
- 43:11uh this AI conversation a spin.
- 43:20Okay. So, it's gone ahead and done what
- 43:22I've asked here. I gave it a little bit
- 43:23of an intro. Here we have our AI
- 43:26conversation here. Now, before we demo
- 43:29it, we're going to make some some edits,
- 43:30right? So, I can edit the conversation.
- 43:33And this is where we could spend a lot
- 43:34of time um customizing this experience,
- 43:37right? So, we can change the voice, the
- 43:39character, the name, we can give it some
- 43:42personality, right? So, if we wanted
- 43:43Jordan to be really defensive or
- 43:46something along those lines, we could do
- 43:47that. We can do the situation. We have
- 43:49the agenda for the conversation. Um, but
- 43:52it generated all that, right, which is
- 43:54great. So, what I'm going to do is I am
- 43:56going to change the voice. We're going
- 43:57to go with um some interesting names
- 44:00here. We're going to go with Puck. He's
- 44:02a male. We're going to change the
- 44:03character. Um no, we'll do a female
- 44:06character. Uh cuz Jordan is a unisex
- 44:09name, right? So, I think we're good with
- 44:11that. And let's go back to the lesson
- 44:14and let's preview this thing and see how
- 44:16it works. I'm excited. Okay, bringing it
- 44:19all together. Okay, so here we have our
- 44:22conversation. Start the conversation.
- 44:25Thanks for calling me in. I understand
- 44:27there's been some feedback about
- 44:29customer service during busy times. It's
- 44:32been a little tough lately.
- 44:35>> Yeah, Jordan, thank you for uh stopping
- 44:37by today. You know, I wanted to talk to
- 44:39you about how you manage your customer
- 44:42service skills along with filling
- 44:44prescriptions. I've noticed that when it
- 44:46gets really busy out on uh in the in the
- 44:49pharmacy, you tend to drop uh your
- 44:51customer service skills. Um, and
- 44:54prioritizing customers while you're
- 44:55working to fill prescriptions.
- 44:59>> I see. It's difficult to balance
- 45:02everything when things get really crazy.
- 45:05What would success look like in this
- 45:07situation?
- 45:09>> Well, I'd love to hear from you. How
- 45:11would you define success? What would it
- 45:12look like for you to be able to manage
- 45:15filling prescriptions while also
- 45:17maintaining our high customer service
- 45:19standards here at Gilbert's?
- 45:22I think success would be ensuring every
- 45:25customer feels acknowledged even during
- 45:27peak hours while still maintaining the
- 45:30accuracy of prescriptions. It's about
- 45:33finding the right balance.
- 45:35Yeah, I I would totally agree with that.
- 45:37So, can we um agree to a plan forward on
- 45:40how you're going to accomplish this?
- 45:43What are some options that would work
- 45:46best for you?
- 45:48>> Oh, okay. What kind of options were you
- 45:51thinking of?
- 45:53>> Well, let me give you an example. Maybe
- 45:55it involves you letting me know when
- 45:58you're feeling overwhelmed. That way, I
- 45:59can get you some additional assistance.
- 46:01That way, our customers still get the
- 46:02help they need and you can still fill
- 46:05prescriptions. Would that be an option
- 46:06that works for you?
- 46:10>> That could definitely help. Also, maybe
- 46:14reorganizing some tasks during busy
- 46:16periods could streamline the process.
- 46:20Yeah, I'm definitely open to that. So,
- 46:22what sort of commitment can you make
- 46:23within the next week or two to
- 46:26accomplish these goals?
- 46:29>> I commit to implementing the proactive
- 46:32communication strategy to request
- 46:34assistance and I'll also draft a
- 46:36proposal for optimizing workflow during
- 46:38busy periods by next week.
- 46:41>> All right, I think that sounds really
- 46:42good. Thank you so much for taking the
- 46:44time to speak with me today, Jordan.
- 46:46you're doing a really great job and I
- 46:48cannot wait to see you better handle
- 46:50filling prescriptions and uh managing
- 46:53customer service.
- 46:56>> Thank you for the coaching. I feel more
- 46:58optimistic about finding solutions.
- 47:02>> Thank you. All right, so I just ended
- 47:04the chat there. Um and it did us uh Oh,
- 47:08there it goes. Okay, so it's analyzing
- 47:09the conversation. I didn't even know it
- 47:11was going to do that. Holy crap.
- 47:13Okay. So, it gives me uh a summary of
- 47:17what I did. So, uh progress goal, you
- 47:20effectively turn the question back to
- 47:21Jordan to let them define what success
- 47:23looks like. Reality, you moved very
- 47:26quickly to solutions without first
- 47:27exploring the current situation. Yes,
- 47:29that was my bad. Did options did will to
- 47:32commit. You let Jordan generate ideas.
- 47:34What was so cool about that is it it was
- 47:37snappy. I mean, it generated the audio.
- 47:39The conversation was almost
- 47:41instantaneous. and I can start over.
- 47:43Right? So, pretty amazing uh way that it
- 47:47uh did all of that. Right? So, the last
- 47:49thing I want to show um is uh I'm going
- 47:52to close out of that. And the last thing
- 47:55I want to customize is the theme. Right
- 47:58now, I think it did attempt to pull from
- 48:00the document before, but I I'm still
- 48:02going to show you how we can customize
- 48:03the theme uh colors and all of that
- 48:05stuff. So, I'm going to go into the
- 48:06theme options here, and this is where we
- 48:08can do things like upload a logo, change
- 48:10the background color, change text, all
- 48:13of that stuff. So, if I wanted to, I can
- 48:14come in here and upload uh my logo for
- 48:18Gilberts. I think I have that somewhere
- 48:20in here. Uh hidden way in my folders.
- 48:24Let's find the style guide brand assets
- 48:27logo. There's the logo there. Upload
- 48:30that.
- 48:32Uh and it puts the logo in there. We can
- 48:34also change um some of the color options
- 48:37down here. Um but I can also do some
- 48:40customization, right? So I can make it,
- 48:42you know, if I want to make it white, I
- 48:43can make it white. I can come in here,
- 48:45change the text. So maybe I want it to
- 48:47be, you know, um Poppins bold for
- 48:51headers and then Poppins
- 48:54um I don't know, regular for text. And
- 48:57then I can come in here and change the
- 48:59colors as well. So maybe um the color
- 49:02here, let me go find my style guide here
- 49:08and come back here. So maybe my main
- 49:11text color is going to be this. I'll
- 49:13copy that and I can come in here and
- 49:17change that here
- 49:21and it updates that. Right? And you can
- 49:22see it branded that throughout here.
- 49:24Right? And then maybe my accent color. I
- 49:27can come back here, pull in this blue
- 49:29color,
- 49:32and put that in there as well, right?
- 49:34And it updates that throughout the
- 49:36course as well. So you can see that used
- 49:39here as well. And I can spend a lot more
- 49:41time editing that, right? And so once
- 49:44we're done, we can share our project,
- 49:46right? We can share our lesson here. So,
- 49:48uh, there's a lot of other options up
- 49:50here. We can manage comments. So just
- 49:51like any other tool, we can send things
- 49:52for feedback. I also have analytics. So,
- 49:54if I'm sharing something from here for
- 49:56people to take, I can track that here as
- 49:58well. We have different course settings
- 50:00as well for grading, thumbnail,
- 50:02description, all of that stuff that you
- 50:04would do if you were publishing of the
- 50:05course. Um, and then we have options
- 50:07here where we can translate the course.
- 50:09We can add audio narration to the
- 50:11course, all of that sort of stuff. And
- 50:12then, of course, we have the option to
- 50:14share here where we can share to anyone
- 50:16on Tim's team. We can share a link
- 50:18directly from Mindsmith, copy the link
- 50:21to public. Um, and you can publish this
- 50:24out, download a SCRM package if you want
- 50:25to. And there are some more sharing
- 50:27options. You can export it to the web,
- 50:29get an HTML file that you can host
- 50:31externally. You can do all of that here
- 50:34uh directly from Mindsmith. So, it's a
- 50:38pretty amazing tool. I mean, I built a
- 50:40whole Grow Coaching uh course here. You
- 50:43can see we did a lot of collaborative
- 50:45work with the AI agent, did some of our
- 50:48own manual edits, but a lot of the
- 50:50features in here allow us to very easily
- 50:54create an instructionally sound course,
- 50:56incorporate meaningful interactivity and
- 50:58practice. I mean, even think about some
- 50:59of these scenarios, how long it would
- 51:01have taken me to write and build these
- 51:03from scratch, not to mention um the AI
- 51:07conversation. I mean, that's amazing in
- 51:10and of itself, right? Um, so yeah,
- 51:14pretty amazing tool. I can't wait for
- 51:16you all to check it out. All right, so
- 51:17that was an overview of Mindsmith and
- 51:19how you can start using AI as part of
- 51:21your instructional design and e-learning
- 51:24development process. Now, as I mentioned
- 51:26earlier, the folks at Mindsmith are
