- 0:00Window A-side has been released. In
- 0:03this video, we'll go over how to
- 0:05install and set up Window A-side, along
- 0:07with some usage examples. You can think
- 0:10of this A-side browser just like the
- 0:13Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Naver Whale
- 0:15browsers you've used before. However,
- 0:18you can understand it as a browser with
- 0:20AI features added on. That is why
- 0:22A-side is currently very popular.
- 0:25Because with A-side, you can use AI to
- 0:28manipulate web browsers directly,
- 0:30replacing functions that previously
- 0:33required various services to provide
- 0:35APIs or MCPs. Even when a specific
- 0:39service doesn't provide an API or MCP,
- 0:42you can use A-side to easily automate
- 0:44tasks or set up routines through AI.
- 0:47It’s extremely convenient and
- 0:49creating quite a buzz right now. It’s
- 0:50all over social media, so let’s start
- 0:52by installing it. You can go to
- 0:54aside.com. If you search for "A-side"
- 0:57on Google, it will appear right at the
- 0:59top. Once you’re on aside.com, click
- 1:02the "Download for Windows" button to
- 1:04install the installer. Once
- 1:06installation is complete, it will ask
- 1:08you to log in. Please log in to the
- 1:10A-side program. I’ll proceed with a
- 1:13Google login. I have completed the
- 1:15login. A browser window pops up, but
- 1:16there’s a slight error, so it stays
- 1:18on the login screen. You can just close
- 1:21the window and open it again. If it
- 1:23doesn't work, just close the window,
- 1:25and you’ll see the standard browser
- 1:27interface. The basic UI has two buttons
- 1:31here: Search and S. If you press Search
- 1:33, you can use it just like a regular
- 1:36browser. If you go to Naver.com, Naver
- 1:39will load, and you can just use it
- 1:42normally. Pressing the S button allows
- 1:44the AI to perform tasks within the web
- 1:46browser. When using this AI, you can
- 1:50utilize the various models you already
- 1:52subscribe to, such as GPT or Claude.
- 1:56Let's go to Settings in the top left.
- 1:58If you click on your profile in the top
- 2:00left, the settings will appear. In the
- 2:02settings, you’ll see a "Models" tab
- 2:04on the left. Under "Models," you'll see
- 2:07that the provider is set to "A-side" by
- 2:10default, but you can click "Connect" to
- 2:12link the AI accounts you already
- 2:13subscribe to. I’ll go ahead and
- 2:16connect Claude. If you are subscribed
- 2:18to GPT, you can just click on GPT.
- 2:20Simply connect your Claude account and
- 2:23click "Approve." You can connect the
- 2:25Claude subscription you have to this
- 2:26Aside to use it. So, as you can see
- 2:28here, for quick tasks, I’ll use Haiku
- 2:31, for standard tasks, Sonnet, and for
- 2:33deep tasks, I’ll change it to Opus
- 2:353.5. You can adjust these settings
- 2:36according to your own preferences. Once
- 2:39you’ve reached this point, the basic
- 2:40setup is complete. Just go to "Ask,"
- 2:43describe the tasks you want to perform
- 2:44in your browser using natural language
- 2:46in the Aside chat, and it will take
- 2:48care of it. Also, since this Aside is
- 2:51installed directly on your computer, it
- 2:53can use files on your system or handle
- 2:55browser downloads, which is all
- 2:57possible. Even for simple requests like
- 3:00, "Find good restaurants near Gangnam
- 3:01Station, take several screenshots, and
- 3:02summarize them," it handles everything
- 3:04for you. This makes it really
- 3:06convenient to use. Often, using AI
- 3:09directly in the browser like this is
- 3:11much more comfortable than using a
- 3:13standard Claude or GPT web interface.
- 3:16As you can see, the AI is performing
- 3:17the task right now. I am not touching a
- 3:20single thing. It is entering "Gangnam
- 3:22Station Line 2" and typing in the
- 3:23destination accordingly. If you look at
- 3:26the chat, you can see the conversation
- 3:28just like a standard AI, and on the
- 3:30right side, you can watch it working in
- 3:32real time. It doesn't just open one tab
- 3:35; it can open multiple tabs to perform
- 3:37tasks in parallel. And as I mentioned
- 3:39in my previous video, the token
- 3:40optimization is incredibly well-done.
- 3:43Compared to running a browser through
- 3:45Claude or GPT, using this tool
- 3:46optimizes tokens significantly,
- 3:48allowing for more efficient usage. As
- 3:51you can see, it is currently saving PNG
- 3:53files to my computer and performing
- 3:55these tasks. It is continuing to search
- 3:58and work automatically for you. Isn't
- 4:00this quite fascinating? When you
- 4:01implement automation, you often
- 4:03encounter bottlenecks. AI always gets
- 4:06stuck on things like logins or payments
- 4:10. This is because services like Claude
- 4:12restrict AI from handling logins or
- 4:14payments for security reasons. So,
- 4:17humans usually have to do those parts,
- 4:19but for managing passwords, you can
- 4:20click the key button in the top right,
- 4:22where they use a concept called "Vault.
- 4:24" I will just enter this for now.
- 4:27There’s a "recovery key" or something
- 4:28similar here, so I’ll hide that since
- 4:30it’s my personal information. Then,
- 4:32just save it and click "Finish." So, if
- 4:35you click "Open Aside Vault," these
- 4:37keys are managed by Aside in a vault
- 4:39format, meaning the AI doesn't just
- 4:40read and use the keys; it only
- 4:42retrieves the stored format when needed
- 4:44. Therefore, this part is also
- 4:46considered quite secure from a security
- 4:47standpoint. For example, if it's Naver,
- 4:49you can store your ID and password. You
- 4:52can either add them one by one by
- 4:53pressing the key button, or it might
- 4:55just pop up asking if you'd like to add
- 4:56them when you log in. Then, you can
- 4:58just add them that way. Click the plus
- 5:00button here to log in. You can also
- 5:02input payment information in the same
- 5:03way. Once you've entered your payment
- 5:05details, you can use them for
- 5:06automation or other purposes. For a
- 5:08specific website, just set up the ID
- 5:10and password like this and click the
- 5:13Save button. When Aside finishes a task
- 5:15, it shows you a capture like this to
- 5:17let you know it's done. It notifies you
- 5:19like this. Shall we take a look at the
- 5:21report? The image is showing as "not
- 5:22available," so I'll check it directly
- 5:24from the folder. It came out as an MD
- 5:26file. So, if you have a preferred
- 5:28format, you can have it generated in
- 5:30that format as well. Yes. So, a report
- 5:33in this form has now been completed.
- 5:35One example of how I’ve been using
- 5:37Aside effectively lately is when I
- 5:38receive certain emails. For instance,
- 5:40an email saying there’s a settlement
- 5:42amount and asking to issue a cash
- 5:43receipt. I received an email like this.
- 5:45Usually, I would have to go into
- 5:47Hometax, issue the cash receipt,
- 5:49download it, come back to the email,
- 5:50attach the receipt, and then send a
- 5:52reply, but now it's different. I just
- 5:56click the "Ask Aside" button at the top
- 5:58and say, "Process the cash receipt and
- 6:00send a reply," and all the work is done
- 6:02at once. So, Aside sent the email like
- 6:05this previously. Hello. To the
- 6:07settlement manager at Inflearn. It
- 6:08successfully issued the cash receipt
- 6:10from Hometax, downloaded it, and even
- 6:12attached it here. In this way, my
- 6:14workload has really been reduced
- 6:15significantly. So I think it would be
- 6:17great for you all to try using it as
- 6:18well. And one of the useful features of
- 6:20Aside is that if you go into settings,
- 6:22there are Skills and Routines. If you
- 6:25go to Plug-in MCP, basic built-in
- 6:26skills are already set up, and you can
- 6:28also set up your own custom skills
- 6:30under "My Skills." So, you have your
- 6:32own workflows, right? For example, one
- 6:34of my subscribers mentioned they handle
- 6:36this kind of workflow using Aside.
- 6:39Since I can't watch every single video
- 6:41from my subscribed YouTube channels
- 6:43every day, I summarize them with Gemini
- 6:45, import them into NotebookLM to get a
- 6:47summary, download them as a podcast,
- 6:50and then run that automated routine
- 6:52every morning. So, if you have your own
- 6:55workflow, you can turn it into a skill.
- 6:57Even then, you just have to do the task
- 6:59once and tell it to "turn this into a
- 7:02skill." For example, as I mentioned
- 7:03before, let's do "latest AI news from
- 7:05YouTube." I put the news video link
- 7:07into NotebookLM, and after watching it
- 7:10perform the tasks, sometimes it might
- 7:13go off track. In that case, you just
- 7:15tell it, "No, not like that, do it this
- 7:16way." Once it's finished, you just say,
- 7:18"Take what you've done so far and turn
- 7:19it into a skill." That's all you have
- 7:21to do. Do you see how it’s already
- 7:23finding the AI video on YouTube and
- 7:26pulling up NotebookLM? It's entering
- 7:28the notebook and performing the task.
- 7:30It says it’s adding the YouTube video
- 7:31as a source. The source has been added,
- 7:34and as I requested, it’s going to
- 7:36download it in a podcast format. Yes.
- 7:39It handles all the operations on its
- 7:40own. If there’s an ambiguous part, it
- 7:42asks the user for input. It might ask,
- 7:43"There are these options, which one
- 7:44should I use?" It does ask things like
- 7:46that. If it keeps asking questions,
- 7:47then it wouldn't be automated. You can
- 7:49define in the skill to "generate the
- 7:51podcast in this specific format," so it
- 7:53will handle the settings without asking
- 7:55. So now, it's generating the AI audio.
- 7:58The tasks I performed today will all be
- 8:00saved in the memory by date. Then,
- 8:02AAside reads these memories and thinks,
- 8:04"Since I did it this way last time,
- 8:06I'll do it this way again." By doing
- 8:09this, it avoids trial and error in the
- 8:12future and improves over time. That's
- 8:15why this is really useful. There's user
- 8:18memory, so it automatically records
- 8:20these things. So, the records of how I
- 8:22use it every day are kept here. The
- 8:24more you use AAside, the more it
- 8:26self-improves, thinking, "I did it this
- 8:27way in the past, so I should do it like
- 8:29this going forward." These records are
- 8:31saved as files in the memory, which
- 8:33makes it extremely useful. And there is
- 8:35also a routine feature. In the free
- 8:37model, you can set up to three routines
- 8:39for free. It doesn’t just run once;
- 8:41you can set up routines to repeat every
- 8:43hour or every ten minutes. So, if you
- 8:46pay just 20 dollars, you can use
- 8:48unlimited routines and set up as many
- 8:51as you want. And there’s something
- 8:53I’m really looking forward to. For me
- 8:56, I currently keep my Mac mini server
- 8:57on with Aideside running these routines
- 8:59continuously. This requires a server
- 9:03environment, but once the cloud feature
- 9:05arrives, I’ll be able to automate
- 9:06browser tasks via the cloud without
- 9:08needing my own server. That’s why
- 9:11I’m really excited about this. So,
- 9:13it’s great to use this routine
- 9:15feature well. You can create routines
- 9:18manually, but you can also just set
- 9:21them up through the chat. Just come to
- 9:24the chat and say, "Set up a routine to
- 9:26summarize YouTube AI news and save the
- 9:27audio file to test." You can just make
- 9:30requests like this. "Set up this kind
- 9:31of routine." If you do that, it will
- 9:33automatically register the routine for
- 9:34you. By doing this, the prompt created
- 9:37by the AI is much more precise than
- 9:39what I would write, so you can give
- 9:41much more accurate instructions. If
- 9:44there’s an ambiguous part, it will
- 9:45ask you a question like this. It might
- 9:47ask what time to run it daily or which
- 9:49news to cover, for instance. So, it is
- 9:51currently building the routine like
- 9:53this. It’s creating a routine for
- 9:55every morning at 8 AM. And there, it
- 9:57says it has finished creating the
- 9:58routine. Let’s go to the settings and
- 10:00take a look. If you go to the routines
- 10:02in settings, you can see the routine
- 10:04that the AI has set up. As you can see,
- 10:06I just said, "Summarize YouTube videos
- 10:08and put them in NotebookLM to create a
- 10:10routine." Instead of just entering a
- 10:12prompt, you can see that it’s broken
- 10:14down into steps from 1 to 12, written
- 10:17much more precisely than a human could.
- 10:20And if you look at step two here, it
- 10:22has been updated to select the top
- 10:24three new videos that aren't in the
- 10:25video URL list in memory.md. In this
- 10:28way, the memory feature is also
- 10:29extremely useful. So, it has been set
- 10:32up this way, the download is complete,
- 10:34and if you check my downloads folder,
- 10:36you can see it’s finished. By
- 10:40utilizing Aideside like this, most of
- 10:41the tasks you used to do by opening a
- 10:43browser can now be automated. Even
- 10:46tasks that aren't provided via APIs or
- 10:48MCPs in existing services are possible
- 10:50with Aideside. So, in my case, I just
- 10:53keep the Toss Securities page open and
- 10:55logged in, and I’ve set everything up
- 10:57so it handles automatic trading and
- 10:58buying on its own. I’ll try to show
- 11:01you how I do that later if I get the
- 11:03chance. In this video, we looked at how
- 11:06to use Aside to automate your browser
- 11:08and how to configure those settings. If
- 11:10you have any automation examples of
- 11:12your own, please feel free to share
- 11:13them in the comments. I’d love to
- 11:15check them out and use them as a
- 11:16reference. If you get stuck or have any
- 11:17questions, just leave a comment and
- 11:19I’ll be sure to answer them. That’s
- 11:21it for this video, and thank you all
- 11:23for watching.
