- 0:17What's the most beautiful city you've
- 0:19ever been to?
- 0:21>> Um, I think the most beautiful city I've
- 0:24been to is Rome in Italy.
- 0:28>> Why?
- 0:29Um because I think it has everything.
- 0:31Beautiful buildings, lots of culture,
- 0:34um a beach, mountains, and there's lots
- 0:37to see and do.
- 0:53>> What's the most interesting historical
- 0:55site you've ever visited? Um the most
- 0:58interesting historical site was probably
- 1:00uh Pompei. Um I walked up Mount Vuvius
- 1:03and kind of saw the kind of volcano.
- 1:05It's dormant now. But also walking
- 1:07around the ancient ruins of Pompei was
- 1:08really interesting because you see
- 1:11things in their society that are similar
- 1:13to ours like graffiti and kind of signs
- 1:15saying beware of the dog. And it's just
- 1:17really interesting to see like an
- 1:18ancient civilization that's frozen in
- 1:20time like that.
- 1:21>> Why did you go there? It was on a school
- 1:23trip when I was young, probably about
- 1:25like 15 years old.
- 1:27>> Would you recommend it to other people?
- 1:29>> I think I would. It was really
- 1:30interesting. Um, it's also really nice
- 1:33weather down there as well. Um, but it's
- 1:35just interesting walking around and just
- 1:37seeing the different um, elements to
- 1:38Roman society and I was studying Latin
- 1:40at the time, so it kind of fitted in
- 1:42quite nicely.
- 1:55Have you ever had a disastrous holiday?
- 1:58>> I I remember going to Scarra
- 2:02which is on the northeast coast of
- 2:04England when I was about four or five
- 2:06and it was a family holiday. Went with
- 2:08my parents and my grandparents and my
- 2:11aunt and uncle and the weather was
- 2:14appalling. It was terrible. And um it
- 2:17rained every day. It was freezing cold.
- 2:20And
- 2:22all I can remember is sitting looking
- 2:24out of the window of the hotel looking
- 2:26at the sky hoping it was going to stop
- 2:27raining, which it never did. And we just
- 2:30sat there arguing like families do.
