  1. 0:00Someone just used Cloud to rebuild the
  2. 0:02entire Adobe suite, making it available
  3. 0:04for free as open source for anyone who
  4. 0:07wants to use it. They made a version
  5. 0:09for Photoshop called Photocraft. Adobe
  6. 0:11Premiere is Filmcraft, and Adobe After
  7. 0:13Effects is Effectcraft. They also made
  8. 0:16versions for Lightroom, InDesign, Adobe
  9. 0:18Acrobat, and Illustrator, all free and
  10. 0:20open source; furthermore, they even
  11. 0:22created open-source versions for
  12. 0:24AutoCAD, for the engineers out there.
  13. 0:27And all this comes from a group called
  14. 0:29ArtCraft, who claim they used Opus 5.
  15. 0:34Clean Room for Adobe software, written
  16. 0:36from scratch in a programming language
  17. 0:38called Rust. In this video, I want to
  18. 0:41go through these programs, show you how
  19. 0:43to use them with AI agents and how to
  20. 0:45install them yourself, use them for
  21. 0:47free, and more importantly, what this
  22. 0:49means for the future of software
  23. 0:51subscriptions like Photoshop or Adobe
  24. 0:53Premiere Pro. And at the end, I'll show
  25. 0:55you where to get this PDF for free,
  26. 0:57which you can just hand over to those
  27. 0:59agents to have them set up all this
  28. 1:01software for you completely. Okay, we
  29. 1:03talked about these programs, and they
  30. 1:06simply exploded on GitHub; Photocraft,
  31. 1:09the equivalent of Photoshop, has
  32. 1:11already received 44,000 stars. These
  33. 1:13stars on GitHub are the equivalent of
  34. 1:15reviews on Google, so they are very,
  35. 1:17very widely used, and I mentioned Clean
  36. 1:19Room implementation in the intro. What
  37. 1:21does that actually mean? It means that
  38. 1:23instead of simply copying the software,
  39. 1:25which is copyrighted and you can't do
  40. 1:27that. Well, a Clean Room implementation
  41. 1:30has two phases. First, it has a team
  42. 1:33that observes the surface layer, the
  43. 1:35features, how it functions, and so on,
  44. 1:37and a team that actually builds it, but
  45. 1:40there is a buffer between the two so
  46. 1:42that the code from the original version
  47. 1:44doesn't end up in the new software. And
  48. 1:48thus, the new software is built from
  49. 1:50scratch, based only on a specification,
  50. 1:52but with features similar to the
  51. 1:54original software, so the original code
  52. 1:56is not used and it is built from the
  53. 1:58ground up. In this case, it was built
  54. 2:01in Rust. Basically, you study what the
  55. 2:03application does and the code is
  56. 2:05written again from scratch. Only
  57. 2:07instead of having programmers do it for
  58. 2:09millions of euros, the AI agent does it
  59. 2:12and it costs much less. A little
  60. 2:14history. That’s how the IBM PC was
  61. 2:16cloned in 1984, rebuilt by Phoenix
  62. 2:18using clean room. Right, let's see what
  63. 2:20we have in this whole package. Well, we
  64. 2:22have almost all the Adobe software that
  65. 2:24you normally have to pay for. We have
  66. 2:26those for images, Photocraft and
  67. 2:28LightedCraft, the equivalents of
  68. 2:30Photoshop and Lightroom, and those for
  69. 2:32video editing. From Premiere Pro we
  70. 2:34have FCraft, and Effect Craft for
  71. 2:36design and for documents. You have
  72. 2:39certainly used at least one of these
  73. 2:41pieces of software. Alright, how do we
  74. 2:43install them? Well, we can use this
  75. 2:44prompt that I'm also leaving for you in
  76. 2:46the PDF. I'll copy the prompt and go to
  77. 2:48my AI agent. In this case, I can use
  78. 2:50Claude. I come to Claude. I simply give
  79. 2:53it this prompt, it will ask me what I
  80. 2:54want to install, and I will tell it I
  81. 2:56want to install Photocraft and
  82. 2:58Filmcraft. And basically, what my agent
  83. 3:00will do is come to the GitHub
  84. 3:02repository of those at ArtCraft, and it
  85. 3:04can do that because this software is
  86. 3:06practically open source. You can take
  87. 3:08it, you can modify it, you can use it
  88. 3:10in whatever ways you want. Also, if you
  89. 3:12don't want an agent to do it, you can
  90. 3:14come and install the software you want
  91. 3:16directly from the ArtCraft website.
  92. 3:18Alright, and they have been installed.
  93. 3:20Let's see what these clones of
  94. 3:21Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro look
  95. 3:23like. But before that, a very short
  96. 3:25word from the sponsor of this video: me
  97. 3:27. So, in the community "afacerea," I
  98. 3:29have just updated the Claude
  99. 3:30masterclass and launched the ChatGPT
  100. 3:32Codex masterclass, the most powerful
  101. 3:34agents of the moment. If you want to
  102. 3:36use them in business or at your job, or
  103. 3:37create your own business with agents,
  104. 3:39regardless of your background or
  105. 3:41technical experience. This is the
  106. 3:42perfect place. We focus on practical
  107. 3:44use cases and I operate on the premise
  108. 3:46that you have no experience whatsoever.
  109. 3:47So if you are someone who wants to dive
  110. 3:49deeper into these tools and use them
  111. 3:51productively, but doesn't know exactly
  112. 3:53where to start and doesn't have much
  113. 3:55time to experiment, this is the place
  114. 3:57for you. Also, you will be part of a
  115. 3:59great community with over 100
  116. 4:00entrepreneurs and employees who build
  117. 4:02daily with AI agents, and we have
  118. 4:04weekly live calls where you can get
  119. 4:06support whenever you get stuck. You can
  120. 4:08find a link in the first comment. Okay.
  121. 4:10And first, we have the Photoshop clone.
  122. 4:13I haven't really used Photoshop much in
  123. 4:14my life, but I can tell from what I've
  124. 4:16seen so far what Photoshop looks like.
  125. 4:18This looks quite similar. It also
  126. 4:20loaded a predefined image here for me.
  127. 4:22Let's open an image, this one for
  128. 4:24example, and make some edits to it.
  129. 4:26Alright, I don't know how to use
  130. 4:28Photoshop, so what do I do? Should I
  131. 4:30start making tutorials? No, because
  132. 4:32besides offering this open-source
  133. 4:34software, the Artraft team provides
  134. 4:36some things that Adobe doesn't, so that
  135. 4:38AI agents can interact much, much more
  136. 4:41easily with these applications.
  137. 4:43Specifically, they offer a CLI, which
  138. 4:45stands for Command Line Interface;
  139. 4:47basically, a terminal with terminal
  140. 4:49commands that the agent knows how to
  141. 4:50use very well—you don't need to know
  142. 4:52them, but it is much easier for the
  143. 4:54agent to interact with the application
  144. 4:56instead of clicking through a graphical
  145. 4:58interface. Graphical interfaces are
  146. 5:00made for us humans so that we can
  147. 5:01easily navigate through them, see icons
  148. 5:04here, click, and so on. But the AI
  149. 5:06agent doesn't need that; it needs a CLI
  150. 5:07, and they provide it, and we are going
  151. 5:09to test it right now. It also comes
  152. 5:11with an agents.md file, which is a
  153. 5:13manual for the agent, a user manual,
  154. 5:15and an MCP. So, everything the AI agent
  155. 5:18needs to interact. And I'm going to
  156. 5:20tell it: I've opened an image in
  157. 5:21Photocraft. I want you to use the CLI
  158. 5:24to extract all the layers for me so I
  159. 5:26can move them left and right. Change my
  160. 5:30background to the blue that my hoodie
  161. 5:32already has, and make my hoodie the
  162. 5:34colors of the background. Alright,
  163. 5:37that's the message, and I'll hit enter.
  164. 5:39Okay, and the agent is finished. I can
  165. 5:41see here that it changed my background
  166. 5:43and my hoodie. I can also move these
  167. 5:46icons. It extracted the layers for me.
  168. 5:48I also have the person who can be moved
  169. 5:50, which is pretty cool, and the AI
  170. 5:52agent did this whole thing because I
  171. 5:53don't know exactly how to use Photoshop
  172. 5:55. So, pretty crazy in my opinion. And
  173. 5:57we also have the other software, which
  174. 6:00is Filmcraft, and this is dear to my
  175. 6:02heart because I edit quite a lot of
  176. 6:04video and I used Adobe Premiere Pro
  177. 6:06quite a bit before AI agents, and at
  178. 6:08first glance, I can say it looks almost
  179. 6:10one-to-one with Adobe Premiere Pro. I
  180. 6:13can import here to make a new project.
  181. 6:16Let's add a new video and drag and drop
  182. 6:18it onto the timeline. And I can scrub
  183. 6:22through the video here, I can add
  184. 6:24layers, I can move layers, play with
  185. 6:26audio settings, add b-roll, and so on.
  186. 6:28Basically, just about everything I can
  187. 6:30do in Adobe Premiere Pro, which is
  188. 6:32quite impressive. Besides that, I can
  189. 6:34also come to the AI agent and tell it,
  190. 6:37look, I want to do this type of edit,
  191. 6:39and have the AI agent actually help me
  192. 6:41edit the videos. These are just two
  193. 6:46that I’ve used, but you also have
  194. 6:48EffectCraft for After Effects, which is
  195. 6:50quite complex and probably the hardest
  196. 6:52to replace, yet it looks similar for
  197. 6:55vector logos, Illustrator, DesignCraft
  198. 6:57for InDesign, Lightroom for LightCraft,
  199. 6:59and the old Adobe Acrobat, which I’m
  200. 7:01sure you know. Furthermore, ArtCraft
  201. 7:07has released a few open-source software
  202. 7:10variants: the equivalent of Word is
  203. 7:12WarCraft, Excel is GridCraft,
  204. 7:14PowerPoint is DeckCraft, ProTools is
  205. 7:17SoundCraft, and for engineers, AutoCAD
  206. 7:19is CadCraft. I invite you to use them,
  207. 7:23test them, see if they are what you
  208. 7:25need, and basically use these
  209. 7:27subscriptions for free. They are
  210. 7:29already at the beginning. They look
  211. 7:31quite similar to the original software,
  212. 7:33but they are still in their infancy.
  213. 7:37And the very interesting thing is that,
  214. 7:39being open source now, it’s not just
  215. 7:41the parent company ArtCraft
  216. 7:43contributing new features; anyone who
  217. 7:45wants to can go to their GitHub
  218. 7:47repository, take the project, add
  219. 7:49features with AI agents, modify them,
  220. 7:51and create all sorts of software
  221. 7:53variants, which will eventually make it
  222. 7:55extraordinarily rich in new
  223. 7:57functionality. Right. Maybe you’re
  224. 8:01thinking that the edits I just made in
  225. 8:03PhotoCraft, for example, could just as
  226. 8:06easily be done by an image generation
  227. 8:08model, an AI model. Well, you’re
  228. 8:10right. This type of initial image
  229. 8:13variant can be easily created by GPT
  230. 8:15Image, NanoBanana, or C-Dance image
  231. 8:18generation models. Basically, what is
  232. 8:21harder to do with AI, however, are
  233. 8:23minute refinements. As you know, you
  234. 8:26have to tell it via prompts. It is
  235. 8:28quite tedious to make changes.
  236. 8:30Subsequent edits, and anyway, the more
  237. 8:32changes you make to an AI image via
  238. 8:34prompts, the more quality is lost. And
  239. 8:37for adjustments, this is where
  240. 8:39Photoshop and this software come in,
  241. 8:41because you can create the first
  242. 8:42version with AI and then make the
  243. 8:44minute edits in professional software
  244. 8:46like this. Basically, the agent makes
  245. 8:49the first version in layers that you
  246. 8:51can then adjust for free on your
  247. 8:53computer, because once you have this
  248. 8:55software, subsequent edits don’t cost
  249. 8:57anything, unlike generating images. You
  250. 8:59simply make the changes, and as I was
  251. 9:01saying, the code is open; anyone can
  252. 9:03improve it. Where do you start? Well,
  253. 9:05you have five steps for your first
  254. 9:07draft. First, copy the prompt that I
  255. 9:09gave you. You can take it from this PDF
  256. 9:12or give the PDF directly to Claude or
  257. 9:14GPT Codex. I'll leave it for you in the
  258. 9:16free community in the description. You
  259. 9:17choose the application you need. The
  260. 9:19agent will simply download it. You ask
  261. 9:21it for a version, a poster, an animated
  262. 9:23logo, something. Then you open the
  263. 9:24application and adjust the layers
  264. 9:25according to your needs. You don't have
  265. 9:27to install all of them. Pick one, try
  266. 9:29it out, and see if it fits; it might
  267. 9:31save you from a quite expensive
  268. 9:32subscription. What happened with this
  269. 9:35Adobe software is something I, along
  270. 9:37with many others, have been predicting
  271. 9:39for some time, namely that the Software
  272. 9:41as a Service SaaS subscription era is
  273. 9:43slowly going downhill. Until now, it
  274. 9:45was mostly theory. It just seemed
  275. 9:47possible. You could replicate some
  276. 9:50features from a certain software you
  277. 9:52use, but we are already reaching the
  278. 9:54time when entire functionalities and
  279. 9:56entire software suites are being
  280. 9:58replicated for free and becoming open
  281. 10:00source. You can even do this yourself
  282. 10:04at home using the clean room technique,
  283. 10:07and all 100%with AI agents. I don't
  284. 10:09know about you, but I find this thing
  285. 10:11quite incredible. That's about it from
  286. 10:13me. Thank you so much for watching, and
  287. 10:15we'll see each other in the next video
  288. 10:17with other incredible things that
  289. 10:19agents can do; cheers.
