63. 2:21and I seen the dude with the diaper from

65. 2:26granddaughter and all them and they was
66. 2:28just going to I was like yo okay he was

70. 2:37about security let us come up there and
71. 2:39do our thing and then even hanging
72. 2:42around like blood roll for them for a
73. 2:45couple of days down there seeing and

75. 2:49one of the hardest locations and we're
76. 2:51like man [ __ ] we for the slums this home
77. 2:54for us man what what like we felt
78. 2:57comfortable like it took me a minute to
79. 3:00want to stay in the Hilton Hotel because
80. 3:02I was used to the gutter I mean we had a
81. 3:04nice room didn't we right hey can we
82. 3:06give a shout out for a big Tay and Mitch
83. 3:10and mowing them that's who brought us
84. 3:12yeah big shout out to y'all they
85. 3:14financed the whole trip right they're
86. 3:16like you want plane tickets we like nah
87. 3:19gas money and food we on the road right
88. 3:22we was dead got there and they had the
89. 3:24welcome package had the love and
90. 3:26everything you know okay let's let's
91. 3:28let's unpack it there's a lot going let

93. 3:31at the time blood raw and Jeezy had just
94. 3:35fallen out I believe or they were just
95. 3:37something was going on so we up in

107. 4:04thorough but you know the thing is one
108. 4:06thing I can give a shout out to
109. 4:07Nathaniel Snipes you know I mean
110. 4:10yeah Snipes he'd be everywhere right but
111. 4:14he kind of reminds me you and him have
112. 4:16that similar to y'all want to go to the
113. 4:17hood first go see the real people we
114. 4:20were out there man so much love you
115. 4:22remember we we're getting the foaming at
116. 4:23the mouth drops but what impression did
117. 4:25you have of blood wrong

120. 4:31it's like when we go out we don't worry
121. 4:33about the security because when they
122. 4:34told us we had security we were like oh

131. 4:52raw and getting a chance to hang around

133. 4:57know what I mean so I enjoyed that time
134. 5:00um Walker was one of those times where
135. 5:02like
136. 5:04he had just came out and he was known
137. 5:06for like fighting like it was going to
138. 5:08jump off he ain't even know you gonna
139. 5:10fight man walking Flocka would fight
140. 5:12every city he went to yeah so it was
141. 5:14times like that right there
142. 5:16um but even on the other side of it
143. 5:19along with some of those artists and me
144. 5:22and them Anthony Hamilton
145. 5:24um you remember that dang brother it was
146. 5:26just sitting down with him even like as
147. 5:28a matter of fact you know
148. 5:30um bam the very very first meal we had
149. 5:34he was like shot in that video I was
150. 5:36like you came to me he was like yeah we

154. 5:42locations we shoot them at like 30. man
155. 5:45we shot them all over the city we was on
156. 5:47the bus we was there waiting man they
157. 5:49said oh you can't bring cameras on the
158. 5:50bus look we worked it out we worked it
159. 5:53out week out of there we did that the
160. 5:55whole time this brother's memory is
161. 5:57impeccable you hear me so let's let's
162. 5:59get into bam Denny Houdini right uh
163. 6:02we've known him for years we started
164. 6:04shooting his videos and we were all new
165. 6:05to like doing videos we were mainly into
166. 6:07interviewing people Israel Mills and I
167. 6:10were on the road doing foaming at the
168. 6:12mouth in the Raleigh area then you and I
169. 6:13hooked up and did it down here in the
170. 6:15tray forum
171. 6:16and him as well but I will say this
172. 6:19Bam's video I think it was snowing that
173. 6:21day we shot like 30 different locations
174. 6:24man we acted like we were on a 100 000
175. 6:27budget band did you ever pay us for that
176. 6:29did we ever get paid where's our money
177. 6:31at so listen do you remember the counter
178. 6:33scene where he choked the girl oh yeah
179. 6:36yeah oh my God so I gotta give you a
180. 6:39little behind the scenes right bam is so
181. 6:42r b but he's got a gangster side to him
182. 6:45so when I was directing I was like
183. 6:46listen throw her back on the counter
184. 6:48choker and he was like real hesitant at
185. 6:51first and she was like no it's okay it's
186. 6:54okay you can choke me you know some
187. 6:55women love that [ __ ] right so when he
188. 6:57really put the choke on her man her eyes
189. 7:00lit up her face started smiling and the
190. 7:02scene was beautiful because that's our
191. 7:04video and Bam's video we'll probably
192. 7:06throw that in there but do you remember
193. 7:08the scene when krishana if I'm saying
194. 7:10her name right I've been old do you
195. 7:11remember how she looked at him in the
196. 7:13music video
197. 7:14oh yeah she looked like she was gonna
198. 7:16kill him after this yeah and this is all
199. 7:19the videos right yeah that was them days
200. 7:21but learning but
201. 7:23going through and seeing that stuff and
202. 7:26actually had a chance to live that's why
203. 7:28I have to say like in the beginning when
204. 7:30you ain't gave me my flowers brother I
205. 7:32decided to get yours because it was the

207. 7:36it's like to believe that's why I say
208. 7:38like oh if we gonna travel to another
209. 7:39city take me to the hood because I know
210. 7:42you already rocking with me I want to
211. 7:44see how they really gonna live right
212. 7:46because if you come down to it oh man we

214. 7:53spared us brother we thought we were
215. 7:55tough and we we would probably bang out
216. 7:57but God really looked down for us
217. 7:59everywhere we went man people treated us
218. 8:01so good let me just digress them back to
219. 8:04Waka Flocka walk if you see this brother
220. 8:06at one time the foaming at the mouth DVD
221. 8:09people thought that was Waka flockers in
222. 8:12the South Jim Jones and all his crew
223. 8:15they would they would see us and be like
224. 8:16yo Waka Flocka foaming at the mouth
225. 8:18because remember Waka Flocka when he
226. 8:20just got done with that fight I got that

289. 10:59but I also wanted to say I don't know
290. 11:01where you're going with South Carolina
291. 11:03but we Raw and Uncut I know you respect
292. 11:06sis but listen don't hold anything back
293. 11:09if we were dealing with women if we were
294. 11:11being wild you're not offended right I

306. 11:39by him I wouldn't even remember I dealt
307. 11:41with them that's how free spirited we
308. 11:43were brother we were hoes back in the
309. 11:45day at one time yeah let me give another
310. 11:48flower to my brother Imam Khalid out of
311. 11:51Winston-Salem right
312. 11:53the brother is known throughout the
313. 11:54world he's been to 50 countries he's our
314. 11:56Muslim Imam but I love him because he's
315. 11:58always been a family man he said one day
316. 12:00I was sharing this with my wife he says
317. 12:02he was he's so humble he says
318. 12:05brother I don't have a problem like you
319. 12:08and brother
320. 12:09I'm not gonna say another brother's name
321. 12:11but he's like I've always wanted to be
322. 12:13married you and brother and such and
323. 12:15such you you're talking about me he knew
324. 12:18who I was you know like at one time it's
325. 12:20like so when we'd go out of town and the
326. 12:24brothers would come up to the email I'm
327. 12:25like especially the Ethiopian Brothers
328. 12:26they would have the prettiest daughters
329. 12:29right and they're like hey we're trying
330. 12:30to find a good husband you know a good
331. 12:32husband from my uh my daughter the email
332. 12:36would look at his camp and be like well
333. 12:38I can't I can't refer none of these
334. 12:39brothers I can't refer none of them to
335. 12:42your daughters because you know and I
336. 12:44love that about him at the time we were
337. 12:46like come on but he knew us he was
338. 12:48authentic I love you man you're a father
339. 12:51figure to me I'd love to get you on the
340. 12:53show

362. 13:47TV cameras up here and my uncle and my
363. 13:50understand broke it down for me so him
364. 13:54and I was sitting our conversating and
365. 13:56it was like he really didn't deal with a
366. 13:58lot of people but like I come around and
367. 14:00I conversate with your brother so I was
368. 14:04um getting ready I was on Cherry Street
369. 14:06and that brother had already made it out
370. 14:09like and I seen them tears of myself I
371. 14:11had cried myself because to know I
372. 14:13prayed beside this brother you know not
373. 14:16just there but also in the messenger
374. 14:19because it showed him going straight
375. 14:21there and as soon as I was released I
376. 14:23went straight to the same man's gym to
377. 14:25bump my head also and that final on
378. 14:29Friday we didn't slap the jewel man it
379. 14:30was time to office a lot and I went and
380. 14:34stood like straight behind his brother
381. 14:35because he always told me you want to
382. 14:37get in the first ranks right so I went
383. 14:39with him and got as close as I could
384. 14:41with him to this range Stood Beside him
385. 14:44an awful right beside him so I could
386. 14:46tell my kids also like yeah I pray
387. 14:48beside this brother yo I just want to

407. 15:36charged and convicted of the murder of
408. 15:38Deborah Sykes he was convicted in State
409. 15:42Court uh uh
410. 15:45four Circuit Court of Appeals and then
411. 15:48the Supreme Court held his rulings right
412. 15:50so the Supreme Court wouldn't even hear
413. 15:52his case just I I can go into it the
414. 15:54details but right now we don't have
415. 15:56enough time for that look up the Daryl
416. 15:58hunt story it is a story of
417. 16:01uh determination by people like Larry
418. 16:03little uh Reverend eversley email Khalid
419. 16:06Griggs a mark Rabel I was a student at
420. 16:09Winston State I went to a historically
421. 16:11black University Larry little brought
422. 16:13the students up we were involved It Was
423. 16:15Daryl Hunt's case that really got my my
424. 16:18history of activism going I don't like

457. 17:38where people are going off to now down
458. 17:41there was the factories that everybody
459. 17:43used to work in
460. 17:44um as a matter of fact one of the
461. 17:46apartment buildings down there the old
462. 17:48niece the Nissan building the movie
463. 17:50Leatherhead someone scenes was shot in
464. 17:52that building
465. 17:54realm a couple years back maybe about 15
466. 17:56years back to move Leatherhead
467. 17:59um the national black theater Fest was
468. 18:01already known for when artists come
469. 18:03through the city and celebrities from
470. 18:05back in the days even some returning
471. 18:07home because a lot of your local
472. 18:08celebrities you would not know right are
473. 18:10from with a lot of them right and they
474. 18:14will come so George Clooney at this
475. 18:17particular year was there the same time
476. 18:19the black theater Festival was going on
477. 18:21filming the movie leatherheads oh George
478. 18:23Clinton the white actor George Clooney
479. 18:25yes wow rest in peace to Larry Leon
480. 18:28Hamlin yeah he started the national
481. 18:30black theater Festival in Winston and he
482. 18:33was an OG in the city I mean he did
483. 18:36amazing things he held the bill he
484. 18:39started with a dream everything when it
485. 18:41starts with a dream takes a little bit
486. 18:43of work and that's what he did and it's
487. 18:46the flourishing his son is one of the
488. 18:48biggest revenues for the city as much as
489. 18:51the city dislikes it and yes I'm going
490. 18:54to say it please imagine as much as the
491. 18:56city hates the fact that this is one of
492. 18:59the only events that could come every
493. 19:01two years is still peace and it brings
494. 19:04the most money that golf tournament
495. 19:06don't do nothing the attendance
496. 19:08tournament don't do nothing Wake Forest
497. 19:10has a game every other week it don't do
498. 19:12nothing but when this event comes it
499. 19:16brings the most money the most revenue
500. 19:18and it brings everybody out people you
501. 19:21ain't seen in 15 20 years they come out
502. 19:23for this every two years and it's a week

507. 19:34it's like there's nothing about
