- 0:20Anybody have a broom for the clean sweep?
- 0:22MOM: Mackenzie's injured, right?
- 0:23She was, you saw her crying.
- 0:25I want to know where the miracle came from.
- 0:27Why don't you call the [bleep] doctor and ask him?
- 0:30ABBY LEE MILLER (VOICEOVER): Coming up on Dance Moms.
- 0:32Here we are, New York City.
- 0:35Thank you for letting me on the team.
- 0:38MELISSA GISONI: What do I have to do to get Mackenzie to dance
- 0:41again?
- 0:42I really think that she needs to go on The View.
- 0:43We are holding an open audition
- 0:46for a contemporary dancer.
- 0:48I danced with Mariah Carey.
- 0:50Wow.
- 0:51KRISTIE RAY: Who's going to be in the dance?
- 0:52ABBY LEE MILLER: I'm not sure yet.
- 0:53MELISSA GISONI: I have to fight for my daughter.
- 0:54Let it die.
- 0:57This is my decision.
- 1:00[THEME - NIKKO LOWE, "LIVING ON THE DANCE FLOOR"]
- 1:03THEME SONG: Get up, get on the floor.
- 1:06My world is with my girls.
- 1:09Living on the dance floor.
- 1:20ABBY LEE MILLER: Something really exciting has happened.
- 1:22I have been called and asked to co-host The View.
- 1:25Sitting next to Whoopi Goldberg.
- 1:26This is crazy!
- 1:28And I'm really excited about it.
- 1:31The kids are coming along.
- 1:32All right, here we are, New York City.
- 1:35[applause]
- 1:39Remember, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
- 1:44This week, we will be attending the Masters of Dance
- 1:48competition, and it's going to be tough.
- 1:51This is our first time showing up.
- 1:53We will be the underdog.
- 1:56And Cathy, who we thought would be in Ohio,
- 1:59she's here in New York City.
- 2:03Last time she beat you, it was bad.
- 2:05A perfect score?
- 2:07That doesn't happen too often.
- 2:09She wants to do it again.
- 2:12You going to let it happen?
- 2:15Now, let's get to the pyramid.
- 2:18On the bottom, Mackenzie.
- 2:21You don't dance, there's nothing to critique.
- 2:25And next, Nia and Asia.
- 2:30That wasn't a duet, it wasn't partners working together.
- 2:34It was you double-timing everything,
- 2:36and it was you trying to keep up.
- 2:38[dance music]
- 2:44And next I have Brooke.
- 2:47You do that side aerial to one knee,
- 2:50you're the first face that comes forward.
- 2:52[dance music]
- 2:57ABBY LEE MILLER: You need to lock eyes
- 2:59with one of those judges.
- 3:00You need to draw them in and tell them that story.
- 3:03All we saw was the top of your head.
- 3:05And moving up, Paige.
- 3:07Paige, you didn't draw my focus.
- 3:10Not in a good way, not in a bad way.
- 3:12I think that's a good thing.
- 3:15And next, Kendall.
- 3:19Kendall, you've had a good run lately.
- 3:21This week, you flew under the radar.
- 3:25JILL VERTES: I'll take it any day.
- 3:26Kendall's third on the pyramid, I think it's great.
- 3:28I think that's close to where she belongs.
- 3:32And next, Maddie.
- 3:35Last week, there was 11 points between you
- 3:38and the next contestant.
- 3:40This week, there was one.
- 3:43You did not have your head in the game.
- 3:45Wake up.
- 3:47Taking a bite out of the Big Apple, is Chloe.
- 3:50CHRISTI LUKASIAK: This is the first time
- 3:52Chloe's been at the top of the pyramid this entire competition
- 3:54season.
- 3:55So it really goes to show that she's back in the game,
- 3:58and you can't count Chloe out.
- 3:59You stayed on your music Chloe,
- 4:01you remembered the choreography, you applied the corrections,
- 4:05you were beautiful.
- 4:06Thank you.
- 4:08ABBY LEE MILLER: So this week at the Masters of Dance,
- 4:10everybody is in the group routine.
- 4:13[applause]
- 4:15Asia, you're certainly better on stage alone.
- 4:19You will be performing a solo.
- 4:23I have another solo going to Chloe.
- 4:28Maddie, you will also be doing a solo.
- 4:35I have one more routine to give out.
- 4:38One more solo.
- 4:43My last and final routine is going to Kendall.
- 4:51Now Jill, you can run along to Henri Bendal and buy me a gift.
- 4:54OK.
- 4:56We have a lot of choreography to get through,
- 4:58but first things first.
- 4:59We need to work on The Last Text for The View.
- 5:03I've arranged for the kids to perform on The View,
- 5:06and we're going to do our award-winning number
- 5:08from the National Finals, The Last Text.
- 5:11And Asia, you will be doing The Last Text.
- 5:18MELISSA GISONI: Mackenzie's been in the dance since the get go.
- 5:21I mean and she's fine, you know?
- 5:22She hasn't been dancing.
- 5:23And I would like her to be in it.
- 5:25Which, that's just it, she hasn't been dancing.
- 5:27Yeah, but I would like her to be in it.
- 5:29She's part of this team and she's been here since she's
- 5:32three years old.
- 5:33I think you should give her a chance.
- 5:35ABBY LEE MILLER: Melissa, I need you to let me work, understand?
- 5:38I think Mackenzie should be dancing on The View, for sure.
- 5:41She's been a part of this team since the beginning.
- 5:44And Asia just came.
- 5:54ABBY LEE MILLER: Come on, let's move over here.
- 5:55I want this to be on your mind first, but you know it.
- 5:58So we're just going to review it and you all
- 6:00had some corrections, that's we're going to do.
- 6:04Mackenzie was originally in The Last Text, but now I have Asia.
- 6:07I really don't know what's going on with Mackenzie's foot.
- 6:10Melissa is the one that said Mackenzie was hurt,
- 6:13Mackenzie's crying, Mackenzie's in pain, we went to a doctor.
- 6:16Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 6:18And now we're here in New York City
- 6:19and the kids have a chance to be on The View, suddenly
- 6:22her foot's fine and Melissa's back-pedalling again.
- 6:25Somebody's has to hold Melissa accountable for her words,
- 6:28and it's going to be me.
- 6:29You don't want to hit your grand jete behind Kendall.
- 6:33Really straighten those knees on that back handspring.
- 6:36There wasn't enough energy in that arm.
- 6:39It's like-- you can't put your head on the floor, Paige.
- 6:46Melissa, who do you-- what do you think is going to go
- 6:47on with The Last Text?
- 6:49Do you think that Asia's doing it,
- 6:50or do you think she's going to put Kenzie in it?
- 6:52MELISSA GISONI: I would assume that Asia's in it.
- 6:54I don't know.
- 6:55CHRISTI LUKASIAK: I think at this point, I think it's Asia.
- 6:58I'm going to talk to Abby about it.
- 6:59JILL VERTES: You did or--
- 7:00I'm going to.
- 7:01Absolutely.
- 7:02I'm not going to let my daughter just be here and not do
- 7:05anything.
- 7:05It's not right.
- 7:06That little girl has been dragged around
- 7:09for the last three weeks, ready to dance,
- 7:12and she's not allowed.
- 7:13I'm totally backing Melissa.
- 7:15Mackenzie feels better, Mackenzie was in the dance,
- 7:19it's Mackenzie's spot.
- 7:20It's a no-brainer.
- 7:21Asia's just practicing really hard so--
- 7:23MELISSA GISONI: Why can't they both be in the group?
- 7:25Well, I don't know, you have to ask Abby.
- 7:27That's Abby's call, it's not my call.
- 7:29It's not the Asia's call, so--
- 7:31JILL VERTES: So you understand, this was our national winning
- 7:33number, why Mackenzie should be in it and not Asia?
- 7:36Have her add Kenzie to the group.
- 7:38Mackenzie has put her time in.
- 7:40KRISTI RAY: But I'm not going to sit there and go,
- 7:42Asia go, tell Abby.
- 7:43No.
- 7:45Whoever Abby picks, I'm fine with.
- 7:48But I do think that if Mackenzie is really hurt, that she
- 7:51shouldn't just be automatically OK because we
- 7:53we're going on The View.
- 7:58ABBY LEE MILLER: Mackenzie, come here.
- 8:01I don't understand why your mom is letting Asia walk in
- 8:07and take over.
- 8:08She's had all this and all that, and everyone's loving her
- 8:11and they're going to forget about you.
- 8:14And your mom's just sitting out there letting this woman come
- 8:16from California, and take over everything.
- 8:19Try to be overstretching your splits,
- 8:21do something while you're in here.
- 8:26All right, now listen to me.
- 8:27This is a very important opportunity for your dance
- 8:31teacher.
- 8:31This is national television.
- 8:35This is The View, and I'm co-hosting it
- 8:37for the entire hour episode.
- 8:39I'm nervous.
- 8:41I am.
- 8:42I'm going to count on you being respectful, being well-behaved,
- 8:46being perfect young ladies.
- 8:47Acting like you are professional, trained dancers.
- 8:52Understood?
- 8:54All right.
- 8:55We do have a great number, it's a very competitive week.
- 8:59It's really important, especially if it's such a--
- 9:03The boys scored a perfect score last time.
- 9:06What if she is a co-host with Abby?
- 9:08Abby will freak.
- 9:10I would love it if Cathy was a co-host on The View with Abby.
- 9:19CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Moms and dads, come on in.
- 9:24Welcome to the Big Apple.
- 9:27[applause]
- 9:29First of all, I want to tell you boys,
- 9:32thank you so much for our clean sweep.
- 9:35You were awesome.
- 9:37Awesome.
- 9:39So, I was very upset with Abby's demeanor and behavior
- 9:44towards me.
- 9:45ABBY LEE MILLER: You never produced anything.
- 9:48She is dirt under my feet.
- 9:50She also said that I was a joke, a hack job,
- 9:53I don't have a nice studio.
- 9:56She has to lose again.
- 9:58My team is going to be competing at a competition,
- 10:01and I know that the Abby Lee Dance
- 10:03Company is going to be here.
- 10:04So, we are here in pursuit of another win against Abby.
- 10:10So first we have Nick.
- 10:13Nick, you were spectacular.
- 10:15I mean, there wasn't a dry eye at the competition.
- 10:18You were fabulous.
- 10:19NICK DANIELS: Thank you.
- 10:20CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Next we have Jalen.
- 10:22You're in the middle, right where you need to be, in
- 10:24between the two tall towers.
- 10:27And then we have Brandon.
- 10:29And at the top of the pyramid is Zack.
- 10:32And Zack, you are there because you were top soloist.
- 10:37And you are going to have a solo again this week.
- 10:40OK.
- 10:42CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: I have brought back Anthony Burrell
- 10:45as our guest choreographer.
- 10:47I think he's going to show us some stuff this week that
- 10:51is more what Anthony has a passion for.
- 10:54Absolutely.
- 10:54Yeah,
- 10:55CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: So we are going
- 10:57to do a contemporary group.
- 10:59We are holding an open audition here today
- 11:03for a contemporary dancer.
- 11:08The dance that Anthony has choreographed and has visioned
- 11:12is going to require a girl.
- 11:14And our team is all boys.
- 11:16So we're coming into New York City
- 11:18and we're going to hold an open audition
- 11:19and look for a new dancer.
- 11:21So I hope that everybody's happy and pleased with what is going
- 11:24on, because I know that I am.
- 11:25[applause]
- 11:28[cars honking]
- 11:32MELISSA GISONI: Kenzie, come here.
- 11:33So what did Miss Abby say to you?
- 11:35MACKENZIE ZIEGLER: She said why are
- 11:36you letting Kristie and Asia come into here
- 11:41and take my spot.
- 11:43But, what did you say?
- 11:44I'm an eight-year-old kid, what am I supposed to do?
- 11:46MACKENZIE ZIEGLER: She wants you to go do something about it.
- 11:50Not me, she wants you.
- 11:51MELISSA GISONI: OK, but what am I
- 11:52supposed to do about it Kenzie?
- 11:54I'm going to talk to Miss Abby about it,
- 11:55because it's ridiculous.
- 11:56You're a team member, you're fine,
- 11:58you need to be in this dance.
- 12:00I have to convince Abby to let Mackenzie dance.
- 12:03I'm not allowing this new Kristie
- 12:05to come in and just take over.
- 12:07Ab, what do I have to do to get Mackenzie to dance again?
- 12:10I've been very dedicated to you, I would do anything you asked.
- 12:12ABBY LEE MILLER: This isn't about you.
- 12:14I really have to teach her the solo.
- 12:15This is about Mackenzie.
- 12:16I want her to dance and she wants to dance, Ab.
- 12:19ABBY LEE MILLER: Asia, come on.
- 12:27What do I have to do to get Mackenzie to dance again?
- 12:30I mean, I really think that she needs to go on The View.
- 12:32I just feel like you're replacing Mackenzie
- 12:34and you don't want her anymore, in the group anymore.
- 12:36And she really wants to dance, so bad.
- 12:39And I've been very dedicated to you,
- 12:40I would do anything you ask me to do.
- 12:42ABBY LEE MILLER: This isn't about you.
- 12:43She just dances like a little kid.
- 12:44MELISSA GISONI: She's eight.
- 12:46I gave her one older routine this season,
- 12:48and she forgot it and stood on stage.
- 12:49I think she draws eyes, I think she's too short.
- 12:53MELISSA GISONI: Asia's just as small.
- 12:54ABBY LEE MILLER: I know, but she wants it.
- 12:56Her. Mother wants it
- 12:57MELISSA GISONI: Mackenzie wants it too.
- 12:58This is what this is about Mackenzie.
- 13:00I want her to dance, and she wants to dance, Ab.
- 13:03ABBY LEE MILLER: Asia, come on.
- 13:04MELISSA GISONI: I'm definitely frustrated,
- 13:06because Abby's like, nope, Asia's here,
- 13:08she's going to dance.
- 13:09Abby has always told me that she wants my kids to stay as cute
- 13:12as long as they can.
- 13:14I don't want my daughter to be sassy on stage at age eight.
- 13:18Not at all. - What?
- 13:19What happens?
- 13:20Did you have the courage to say something?
- 13:22MELISSA GISONI: I said to Abby, I
- 13:23said Mackenzie wants to dance.
- 13:25She wants to dance.
- 13:26She says, well, you know, Mackenzie's too short.
- 13:28I said Asia's the same size as Mackenzie.
- 13:30KELLY HYLAND: So what was the outcome of the conversation?
- 13:32MELISSA GISONI: She said Asia wants it more than Mackenzie.
- 13:35I'm like, OK.
- 13:37She said you want more from Asia.
- 13:39What am I here every freaking day--
- 13:42OK, but Melissa, now you're getting mad because she's
- 13:45saying that about Asia.
- 13:46But whenever she says to me, Maddie
- 13:49wants it more than your kids, you two look at me
- 13:51and say I'm jealous.
- 13:52So like how do you like it?
- 13:54It's hard for me that a stranger comes in--
- 13:57KELLY HYLAND: Yeah it's hard for us too.
- 13:58That's the same thing.
- 14:00But you have to also respect what they're
- 14:02feeling every week.
- 14:03It's hard to see my eight-year-old not dance.
- 14:06I'm fully on Christi and Kelly's side.
- 14:08JILL VERTES: Well, Of course you are, because you
- 14:10want Asia in the number.
- 14:11KRISTI RAY: It has nothing to do about that.
- 14:12If it was me, I'd put agent Kenzie head to head.
- 14:15Toe to toe.
- 14:17So there's nothing for me to prove.
- 14:22[jazz music]
- 14:26CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Come on, let's go!
- 14:32You are auditioning for Candy Apples Dance Center.
- 14:35Do you know who Candy Apple is?
- 14:37Yes.
- 14:39CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: So let me tell you something girls,
- 14:40you have to be stellar.

- 14:45and this is Vivi.

- 15:38Next group?
- 15:39CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Next group.

- 15:43CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: I love that.
- 15:44ANTHONY BURRELL: Where's the face, the emotion?
- 15:47CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: The technique
- 15:48that we're looking for, I'm not really seeing with you guys.
- 15:52Nothing in that group.
- 15:53ANTHONY BURRELL: Don't be yourself, be beautiful.

- 16:00OK, so guys, thank you so much for coming today.
- 16:04ANTHONY BURRELL: Great job though, ladies.
- 16:05Great job.
- 16:06CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Very nice job.
- 16:07This is hard work auditioning people, isn't it?
- 16:09I'm hungry.
- 16:10You're hungry also?
- 16:11I asked for chocolate, and we didn't get any.
- 16:14Videos like my little buddy and I trust her
- 16:17because Vivi has a really good insight because your eyes are
- 16:21burning?
- 16:22Yeah, I don't know why.
- 16:24I don't either.
- 16:26Hi there.
- 16:27You are a dancer.
- 16:29Yeah.
- 16:30Yeah, OK.
- 16:32Real quickly, what I'd like to know is your name and your age.
- 16:35Charles, I'm 10.
- 16:37Are you sure you dance?
- 16:39Yeah.
- 16:40What type of dance do you do?
- 16:41I like to express myself while I dance.
- 16:44Sometimes when I get mad, I just dance
- 16:46and just it calms me down.
- 16:48Very good.
- 16:49OK.
- 16:50All right, let's go.
- 16:51ANTHONY BURRELL: Let's go.

- 17:10From a male dancer to another.
- 17:12You have something special and keep working hard, OK?
- 17:14Are you the only boy that's out there?
- 17:17Please tell me no.
- 17:18Yes.
- 17:20I said please tell me no.
- 17:25KRISTI RAY: Asia, come here, come over here.
- 17:28This is for Abby for letting you go on The View with the team,
- 17:33because you're new here.
- 17:34And for her to pick you to go on the team,
- 17:35it's very important that you show her appreciation.
- 17:37And I want you to sign this and want you to take it in there
- 17:40and show your appreciation for letting you, OK?
- 17:46OK, go on.
- 17:48ABBY LEE MILLER: What's that?
- 17:49KELLY HYLAND: What's this?
- 17:50What's she doing?
- 17:52It's a thank you card for letting me be on the team.
- 17:54Oh!
- 17:56"They had littler thank you cards,
- 17:59but this one fit my gratitude better."
- 18:01Thank you.
- 18:03KELLY HYLAND: Maybe you should have Kenzie give her one,
- 18:05saying, please let me go.
- 18:07JILL VERTES: It's a big pink elephant
- 18:08on the front of the card.
- 18:10CHRISTI LUKASIAK: There is a big pink elephant in the room.
- 18:12For once it's not Abby.
- 18:14Thank you for letting me be on The View with the other girls.
- 18:17I appreciate this.
- 18:18Very nice, sweetheart, thank you.
- 18:20It was a very thoughtful gift, and I really
- 18:22appreciate the time and the energy
- 18:25that she put into that gift.
- 18:26I still haven't decided who is going to be in the number
- 18:29and who isn't.
- 18:31The jury is still out, you might be in, you might not be in.
- 18:34All right, you have a solo because we need the points.
- 18:37You're in the mini division and you need to win.
- 18:40Let's go.
- 18:42[dance music]
- 18:47Asia has an amazing solo this week, it's called the robot.
- 18:50And it's going to be hard to keep her a little stiff,
- 18:53but we're going to try.
- 18:55Ball change, glissade, jete.
- 18:58Hurry up!
- 19:00Your foot sickled.
- 19:01All one motion.
- 19:02Now you're going to push away on your left foot.
- 19:05No.
- 19:06Your other left foot.
- 19:07What part do I come up and hold like this part?
- 19:13ABBY LEE MILLER: It's just like one, two.
- 19:19JILL VERTES: I was actually surprised Asia's doing a solo.
- 19:21CHRISTI LUKASIAK: I think it would be smarter if she would
- 19:23have had Brooke do a solo.
- 19:24You could have had solos in an older age
- 19:26category, the middle age category, and the younger.
- 19:29How long has it been since my kids have had a solo?
- 19:31Like, they don't expect to get a solo anymore.
- 19:33JILL VERTES: But I heard you say you don't--
- 19:35I don't care.
- 19:36I don't care anymore.
- 19:36You know what?
- 19:38When I'm in New York, I'm going to go and do things on my own,
- 19:39without Abby.
- 19:41Because obviously, Abbey really could give a [bleep]
- 19:43about my two kids.
- 19:44Asia has been on our team for how many weeks,
- 19:46and she's had how many duets and solos?
- 19:48And that right there tells you.
- 19:51Do it myself.
- 19:52Are you going to try to do the modeling thing for Paige?
- 19:54I would love to, yes.
- 19:55Because isn't that a big agencies--
- 19:58CHRISTI LUKASIAK: Preach, sister, preach.
- 19:59I'm going to play the momager role this week.
- 20:01I'm in New York City, neither one of my kids have a solo.
- 20:05I'm going to take them out and I'm going to do things for them
- 20:08to get them ahead.
- 20:14CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Vivi, what do you
- 20:16think about that last group?
- 20:17No I don't really like them that much.
- 20:19They were terrible.
- 20:21I know.
- 20:23I mean, the little girl in the mint, she's borderline.
- 20:25And I liked Maddie, only because she's experienced.
- 20:29And she's had, she had good ballet training.
- 20:31You could tell just by the way she held herself.
- 20:33Yeah.
- 20:34What do you think about the 12-year-old?
- 20:35I think she's too big for the guys, like mass-wise.
- 20:38She's very mature looking.
- 20:39I like that one that's 10 better than her.
- 20:41I mean, she has the facility and information,
- 20:44but I think with her instrument, it's enough.
- 20:46CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: The three boys
- 20:47that are going to be doing the group dance all
- 20:49have such wonderful qualities.
- 20:51So I'm looking for another team player that's just going to fit
- 20:55right in with these boys.
- 20:56That's going to gel immediately.
- 20:58So, guys, you are the finalists, which in itself,
- 21:01that was a big win, OK?
- 21:03Charles, step forward please.
- 21:06You are like very inspirational.
- 21:10I want to tell you to keep up the good work,
- 21:12because the boys are few and far between.
- 21:16I got chills right now, because I
- 21:18know being who you are, a young little boy,
- 21:20you get teased and called names for doing what you do.
- 21:23And I was once this little kid wherever this leads today,
- 21:25continue.
- 21:26Continue man.
- 21:27[applause]
- 21:32All right guys, in a straight line please.
- 21:34You did-- all did an awesome job,
- 21:36but we both have decided upon number number 80516.
- 21:43Victoria!
- 21:45It was a hard decision.
- 21:46Victoria comes from Studio Larken,
- 21:49and they have a fabulous reputation.
- 21:51Not only that, I think that Abby has seen them before
- 21:55and it's going to be kind of fun if she recognizes Victoria,
- 21:59and now Victoria's on our team.
- 22:01ANTHONY BURRELL: All of you are very talented.
- 22:03CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: You're very talented.
- 22:04Thank you.
- 22:05Congratulations!
- 22:09ABBY LEE MILLER: Come on girls, let's go!
- 22:12Five, six, seven, eight.
- 22:15Step, fan, behind, push, back black isn't high enough.
- 22:20The group dance this week is called runaways.
- 22:23They end up all alone and on the streets.
- 22:26It's a topic that needs attention.
- 22:28So if you think it's bad at home,
- 22:30believe me it's much worse to be cold and hungry
- 22:34and alone on the streets.
- 22:36Brooke, you're still bending your knee every time you fan.
- 22:39It's like you're walking through mud or water.
- 22:42Push, push.
- 22:43Imagine trying to get down the sidewalk in New York City,
- 22:46and all these people are rushing towards you.
- 22:50Push them out of the way, use your elbows.
- 22:54CHRISTI LUKASIAK: I'm really worried about the theme.
- 22:57It is a relevant topic.
- 23:00I think it's going to be like The Last Text,
- 23:02where it's like sending a message.
- 23:04Like, don't text and drive.
- 23:06Like that's sending a good message.
- 23:08Like I don't see it as being negative.
- 23:10But I think it's one of those opportunities that's
- 23:13a great way to raise awareness and educate,
- 23:15if it's done tastefully.
- 23:17I always think those are the numbers that do well.
- 23:19MELISSA GISONI: Like the children dance.
- 23:20And I think that was freaky when she explained to them.
- 23:22KELLY HYLAND: It was one of their best numbers
- 23:23they ever did. - It was.
- 23:27Paige, Brooke, you forgot what to do.
- 23:31You forgot what to do again.
- 23:32Now, I saw mistakes in the group routine.
- 23:35I saw a lot of mistakes.
- 23:36The girls just don't look clean, they don't look sharp,
- 23:39they don't look tight.
- 23:40They need to win.
- 23:42We need to go out there and beat Cathy's boys.
- 23:45Girls, get it together.
- 23:47You need to step on stage and you need to beat her.
- 23:51All right, that's it.
- 23:52Wrap them.
- 23:53Done.
- 23:53I can't look at them anymore.
- 23:55I am not reviewing one step.
- 24:00If you come in here and you do something wrong,
- 24:02or you forgot something, eeh.
- 24:05Do something for yourself.
- 24:07The whole world does not hand you your life
- 24:10on a silver platter.
- 24:13Figure it out.
- 24:17CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Let's go.
- 24:18Let's go get some cheesecake.
- 24:20So, you're having fun?
- 24:21Yep
- 24:22Ready for some cheesecake?
- 24:25WAITER: Hi ladies, how are you?
- 24:27Welcome to Juniors.
- 24:28CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: We're actually here for dessert.
- 24:29I want one with raspberry in it.
- 24:31CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: I'll just have a plain one of those,
- 24:33then. OK, thank you.
- 24:34All right.
- 24:35And I want to tell you what, I need this break.
- 24:38Do you like the way we have to get around New York?
- 24:40No.
- 24:41It's hard to get a taxi, and then when you have to walk,
- 24:44your feet start to hurt.
- 24:45CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Yeah.
- 24:46What's your favorite thing so far about New York?
- 24:48Probably the shopping and stuff like--
- 24:51Really?
- 24:52The shopping?
- 24:53Oh honey, mommy's teaching you so well.
- 24:55And I like the pizza.
- 24:57I think you've had how many pieces?
- 24:58About like five already.
- 25:02So, what do you think of Victoria?
- 25:04I think she's nice.
- 25:05Is she nice?
- 25:06Have you guys had a moment to talk?
- 25:08No, not really, but she seems like she's probably nice.
- 25:10I haven't really got to see your dance again that much.
- 25:13She's cute, huh?
- 25:14Yes she's a cute little girl.
- 25:16Why do you keep making rabbit noses at me?
- 25:19Because my nose is stuffed up, because I a cold.
- 25:21Wipe it off.
- 25:23Go straight down.
- 25:24I know, I know, I know how to do that, yeah.
- 25:26WAITER: Ladies, your dessert is here.
- 25:29Thank you so much.
- 25:30You're welcome.
- 25:32So, why do you think that you and Jalen are so close?
- 25:34I don't know.
- 25:35Do you think that he's cute?
- 25:38You don't think Jalen is cute?
- 25:40Like you wouldn't consider him like a boyfriend?
- 25:43Just a friend?
- 25:45I don't think it would hurt if you admitted that you think
- 25:50Jalen;s pretty cute.
- 25:53Don't you like his swag?
- 25:56Do you like his dad's swag?
- 25:59Well, I think he's pretty doggone cute.
- 26:02I think that you guys make a cute couple.
- 26:21This is so exciting!
- 26:25ABBY LEE MILLER: It's the morning of the view,
- 26:27and I was a little bit nervous before I got here,
- 26:29but now that I'm here at the studio,
- 26:32I just can't wait to get out there.
- 26:34OK, is that good girls?
- 26:36You want to check it out?
- 26:36Check it out.
- 26:38All right guys, places.
- 26:40I need you not to pay attention to anything that's going on,
- 26:44but to me.
- 26:47The girls are going to perform The Last Text.
- 26:50Putting choreography on live TV is difficult.
- 26:54We start out rehearsing the girls,
- 26:56all the cameramen are there, all the sound guys.
- 26:58They're watching the girls, they're
- 27:00serious about their jobs.
- 27:02And I love being here with all this professionalism.
- 27:05Five, six, seven and Asia.
- 27:13Did you see where you are?
- 27:14Are you in line with that first pole?
- 27:17Yes.
- 27:18You came too far downstage.
- 27:20You know what, Asia, come out of there.
- 27:23You go in, right now, so she can see what you do.
- 27:26I am swapping Asia and Mackenzie out, in and out, in and out,
- 27:30because I want to see who's going to actually perform.
- 27:33Mackenzie, what happened?
- 27:35I give you the opportunity to practice it,
- 27:36I want to use Asia, and now you do a cartwheel,
- 27:40you stop, then you move forward and do a back handspring.
- 27:43What was going on?
- 27:45ABBY LEE MILLER: Thought you were
- 27:46going to fall off the stage?
- 27:48I really want Mackenzie to do it because she was part
- 27:51of the original award winning number,
- 27:53but Melissa has to learn that she doesn't get her cake
- 27:57and eat it too.
- 27:58And Asia is just raring to go.
- 28:01Bigger, Paige.
- 28:02When it gets hit, when the car hits the impact,
- 28:05you need to levitate out of that car.
- 28:07Like if you-- if the seat that would be holding you in,
- 28:10you need to boom.
- 28:12It's bigger, like that your butt up out of the seat almost.
- 28:15Go.
- 28:19Paige, you're doing this.
- 28:21The wheels there.
- 28:22Don't, don't.
- 28:30Bigger, sharper.
- 28:32I'm embarrassed as a teacher.
- 28:34I'm sitting over here and it's like I'm humiliated.
- 28:37I mean, come on.
- 28:38This is The View.
- 28:40All right, let's go guys.
- 28:43KRISTI RAY: Asia's fine, but she did practice it,
- 28:46but you keep going back and forth with Abby about getting
- 28:49Kenzie in the dance, and--
- 28:50MELISSA GISONI: Yeah, I should.
- 28:51I'm sticking up for my kid.
- 28:52KRISTI RAY: But I'm sticking up for mine too.
- 28:53That's fine.
- 28:54KRISTI RAY: Because she's mature enough to understand,
- 28:55but also it keeps being an issue in her face.
- 28:59And then you have Jill chiming in and everyone chiming in.
- 29:02That is what's not fair.
- 29:03I have Melissa here crying about Mackenzie going on.
- 29:06Asia is fine with whatever, but let's just get it over with,
- 29:10and let's just say who's going on stage,
- 29:12so I don't have the peanut gallery here in the corner
- 29:15talking madness on Asia.
- 29:17CHRISTI LUKASIAK: Didn't you already talk to Abby?
- 29:18MELISSA GISONI: At the studio.
- 29:20Because you were really upset, and now you're like kind of--
- 29:23MELISSA GISONI: I'm still upset.
- 29:24CHRISTI LUKASIAK: No, you're not.
- 29:25I'm not going to do it in front-- my kids are here,
- 29:26Christi, and we're on The View.
- 29:27So we're happy to be on The View, OK?
- 29:30If Mackenzie is not it, Mackenzie is not in it.
- 29:32No, but I think that you know--
- 29:33I do not know.
- 29:34CHRISTI LUKASIAK: I think you know.
- 29:35No I don't.
- 29:36CHRISTI LUKASIAK: I think you do know, Melissa.
- 29:37MELISSA GISONI: I don't know.
- 29:38Why don't you ever just like--
- 29:39MELISSA GISONI: Because I don't know that Mackenzie is in it
- 29:41or not.
- 29:42I want her in, she's been on this team for years.
- 29:44CHRISTI LUKASIAK: No, nobody's saying that.
- 29:46What I'm calling you out on is the fact
- 29:48that you always do stuff behind everybody's back.
- 29:50MELISSA GISONI: Oh, OK.
- 29:51You do, you do.
- 29:53She doesn't know, and neither do I. That's what--
- 29:55KRISTI RAY: I just wish that you would stop going, OK, Abby
- 29:59is Mackenzie--
- 30:00MELISSA GISONI: Why? - Because--
- 30:00MELISSA GISONI: She's my daughter.
- 30:02I have to fight for my daughter.
- 30:03KRISTI RAY: It's like this whole big charade about this foot,
- 30:05all I keep hearing is about this foot, and I'm like OK--
- 30:07MELISSA GISONI: I'm not bringing up the foot--
- 30:08KRISTI RAY: Let's just let Abby pick and be done with it.
- 30:10Let it die.
- 30:12HOLLY FRAZIER: Unfortunately, Melissa dug herself a hole.
- 30:15Melissa said from the very beginning
- 30:17that Mackenzie was injured, and how Melissa initially framed
- 30:22it sounded like we didn't know when Mackenzie was going to be
- 30:24well enough to dance again.
- 30:26It was like an indefinite injury.
- 30:27I think the point is, is that Melissa is the one who made
- 30:30such a big deal about the foot, and she couldn't do it
- 30:33if it was competing against Asia in a competition.
- 30:37Now that it's for The View, all of a sudden Mackenzie's
- 30:39miraculously better.
- 30:40Oh, please.
- 30:40Give me a [bleep] BREAK.
- 30:42I wanted Mackenzie to dance last week, Christi.
- 30:43OK.
- 30:44It's an overuse injury, Christi, get it.
- 30:46It's not a broken bone.
- 30:48CHRISTI LUKASIAK: I get it, but you're the one who made it
- 30:49into a huge thing!
- 30:51I mean, what else am I supposed to do?
- 30:53I mean, I want my daughter to dance, I'm sorry.
- 30:56But she's, you know, she's on the team.
- 30:59I want her to dance.
- 31:00I want Mackenzie to dance.
- 31:02She's ready to dance.
- 31:03When we're in our hotel room, all she does
- 31:05is dance, and practice, and stretch.
- 31:08She is ready.
- 31:09KRISTI RAY: Melissa, you're acting like a jealous mom.
- 31:12MELISSA GISONI: No!
- 31:13What was that--
- 31:14Careful.
- 31:15She doesn't like that it's happening to someone else.
- 31:16I'm trying to explain, but you don't let me [bleep] talk.
- 31:19I'm telling you--
- 31:20KRISTI RAY: You need to be clearer, because--
- 31:21MELISSA GISONI: I'm talking!
- 31:23So I can understand you.
- 31:24I'm not talking.
- 31:27[cheering]
- 31:28Kristi, look at you!
- 31:30KRISTI RAY: Here in person, I was just--
- 31:31ABBY LEE MILLER: Fabulous.
- 31:32KRISTI RAY: Thank you.
- 31:34ABBY LEE MILLER: I want to be like that when I grow up.
- 31:36She looks great.
- 31:38Who's is going to be in the dance?
- 31:39I'm not sure yet if Asia or Mackenzie are doing the dance.
- 31:43Mackenzie already got to do it, and she's been hurt,
- 31:45and it's, you know, I'm kind of getting
- 31:49that she was hurt because she didn't want to go up
- 31:51against Asia.
- 31:53So I need to go, I need to get into hair and makeup.
- 31:55That's show business, ladies.
- 32:00Have them ready.
- 32:01OK.
- 32:05JILL VERTES: There they are!
- 32:06The stars of the day!
- 32:09HOLLY FRAZIER: Abby said by the time she comes in here,
- 32:11she wants you dressed and ready, so be nice and warmed up.
- 32:14For the most part, Melissa is very guarded
- 32:17and not letting you see how upset she
- 32:20is that Asia is basically taking over Mackenzie's role.
- 32:23I mean, I think there's a perception
- 32:25that Mackenzie's space, or her place on the team,
- 32:30is a little threatened by Asia.
- 32:33MELISSA GISONI: Oh, don't, don't do that again, Kenz.
- 32:35No more doing that, OK?
- 32:36Just leave it.
- 32:37KRISTI RAY: This is life.
- 32:38It's not always fair, right?
- 32:40So, whatever she decides, we're going to go with it.
- 32:43If you're not in the dance, then and I
- 32:45know you're mature enough to understand.
- 32:47MELISSA GISONI: You know, most likely you're not
- 32:48going to be in the dance, OK?
- 32:50So don't get upset.
- 32:51No pouting, no crying, OK?
- 32:53KRISTI RAY: That's how it is, right?
- 32:55OK, so, you just watch and be happy, and hope the group just
- 32:59does really well.
- 33:00If you're in it--
- 33:01MELISSA GISONI: It is what it is.
- 33:12PRODUCER: Sherri's going to talk about a shout out
- 33:13to her ex-husband, complimenting him,
- 33:16which we talks about in Hot Topic.
- 33:17ABBY LEE MILLER: Yeah, I get the last word there.
- 33:20You love that.
- 33:21I love that.
- 33:22Postal Service fashions.
- 33:23ABBY LEE MILLER: Co-hosting The View is huge.
- 33:25I mean, I'm a dance teacher from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- 33:27And here I am dealing with Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg?
- 33:31This is crazy.
- 33:32WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Today, our guest co-host week
- 33:35continues with Abby Lee Miller.
- 33:37[applause]
- 33:41CHRISTI LUKASIAK: The fake smile is killing me.
- 33:42JILL VERTES: No, I told you.
- 33:44I told you she would be on her best, charming behavior.
- 33:47CHRISTI LUKASIAK: She'll be on cloud nine.
- 33:50WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Abby, listen.
- 33:52You're thought to be a tough teacher.
- 33:54I am tough.
- 33:55I think that there's a way to coach and there's a way
- 33:57not to coach.
- 33:58I don't think you can necessarily
- 33:59break a kid on field if they feel supported at home, right?
- 34:03ABBY LEE MILLER: There's a child and I could say, honey,
- 34:06when your foot comes through, so cou-de-pied into passe,
- 34:10you need to open your hip and tuck your derriere under.
- 34:12One time, very nicely, [snap],, It's fixed.
- 34:16Another kid, you have to yell at them
- 34:19until you're blue in the face.
- 34:21HOLLY FRAZIER: I'm a little surprised.
- 34:22It seems as though that most of the hosts really like Abby.
- 34:26Like she has a fan club on The View.
- 34:30All right girls, we're ready for you.
- 34:33[excited chatting]
- 34:43Do what you got to do.
- 34:44This is your moment.
- 34:45You're on national TV.
- 34:47CHRISTI LUKASIAK: Make it count.
- 34:48Millions are watching.
- 34:50HOLLY FRAZIER: Break a leg, all of you.
- 34:53Who's going to dance? Asia?
- 34:54Mackenzie?
- 34:55I have no idea.
- 34:56Ready, ladies?
- 34:57ABBY LEE MILLER: Ready, girls?
- 34:58Shoulders down, long necks.
- 35:00So, Elisabeth leads, dance performance, and then you
- 35:03and all the hosts will come in at the end, say goodbye.
- 35:05The girls look great.
- 35:06They're serious, they're acting like seasoned professionals.
- 35:09I'm thrilled with their behavior.
- 35:10All right.
- 35:14This is my decision.
- 35:17You are going to do the number.
- 35:20You are coming out with me at the end.
- 35:22OK. ABBY LEE MILLER: Understand?
- 35:23Yes.
- 35:25ABBY LEE MILLER: The next time you're hurt,
- 35:27I go to the doctor with you.
- 35:28Understood?
- 35:29Yes.
- 35:31ABBY LEE MILLER: Because I think your mother is lying.
- 35:33Let's go.
- 35:36I put Mackenzie in the last text,
- 35:37because three different times I told Asia where she needed
- 35:42to fall, she kept doing it wrong.
- 35:45Wrong gets you tossed out.
- 35:47ELISABETH HASSELBECK: Here to perform The Last Text,
- 35:49please welcome the dance troupe from the Abby Lee Dance
- 35:51Company.
- 35:52[applause]
- 35:58[music begins]
- 36:01CHRISTI LUKASIAK: When Mackenzie pops up from behind the seat
- 36:03in The Last Text, all is well in Melissa's little world.
- 36:06Look at her foot.
- 36:07You see her foot up?
- 36:09I never noticed her doing that before.
- 36:11KRISTI RAY: Personally, I knew this was going to happen,
- 36:13but Abby's going to go ahead and take loyalty over talent.
- 36:18That's fine.
- 36:24KELLY HYLAND: I'm not surprised that Mackenzie ended up
- 36:26doing this dance at all.
- 36:27I think that Abby knew all week of who she was going
- 36:31to have do this dance.
- 36:35[applause]
- 36:41MACKENZIE ZIEGLER: As soon as I did my cartwheel over the seat,
- 36:44I was like, I'm back.
- 36:54ABBY LEE MILLER: Co-hosting The View, that's a dream come true.
- 36:57But right now, I only have one thing on my mind,
- 36:59and that's beating Cathy.
- 37:01[city bustle]
- 37:05CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: This group number
- 37:06is going to be stupendous.
- 37:08I think that the girl that we chose,
- 37:12she's going to be perfect for what we want her to be.
- 37:14With the fact that Abby has seen my all boy team
- 37:17for the past couple of competitions,
- 37:19I think that bringing in somebody that has the qualities
- 37:22that Victoria has is definitely going to throw them for a loop.
- 37:25Well, listen, you know yesterday I had an audition.
- 37:29So I needed somebody that was really going to enhance you.
- 37:31So, we found a girl.
- 37:34You know, I like to do the unexpected
- 37:36when it comes to Abby.
- 37:37She's going to think because of last time when
- 37:40we did so amazing that we're going to have all boys.
- 37:43So now we bring in this girl that she
- 37:45doesn't know who the girl is.
- 37:46Hi
- 37:47ALL: Oh, wow!
- 37:51RICK TESTERMAN: Are you tough?
- 37:53Because you've got to be tough to be on this team.
- 37:56We don't take no mess.
- 37:57CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: They're expecting the all boys,
- 37:58and here we're going to come in with this beautiful girl, who
- 38:01is not only beautiful, but a great dancer.
- 38:04And and it's probably going to rock their world.
- 38:06ANTHONY BURRELL: And you, unfold.
- 38:07You, unfold.
- 38:09You, unfold.
- 38:10You, unfold.
- 38:12Six, seven and a eight.
- 38:15ANTHONY BURRELL: Lay back, Brandon.
- 38:16Put your head on her.
- 38:17CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: The Day of the Dead
- 38:18happens after Halloween, and it's a Mexican holiday.
- 38:21And it's a very jubilant time with lots of garish face
- 38:25painting, lots of over-the-top costuming.
- 38:28So I think that this theme is a good thing for us,
- 38:31and it's going to be a lot of fun to take to the stage.
- 38:34So guys I don't think it was clear.
- 38:36It's like Zack is pushing it, you're going like this.
- 38:39Five, six, then you're doing seven and a eight.
- 38:42OK?
- 38:43That wasn't completely clear.
- 38:44It is clear you just got to open your mind and brains,
- 38:46and stop being so closed-minded.
- 38:47CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Easy.
- 38:48Six, seven, eight and--
- 38:51CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: Victoria's a technically sound dancer
- 38:53and she's very pliable with the boys.
- 38:57The boys are having a very easy time with her in partnering.
- 39:00How are you feeling, Victoria? Comfortable?
- 39:02Good.
- 39:03Boys, it's a match!
- 39:05It's match made in heaven.
- 39:11ABBY LEE MILLER: Hey hey.
- 39:13JILL VERTES: There she is.
- 39:14ABBY LEE MILLER: Hello!
- 39:15Good job.
- 39:16Oh, and you're all in a good mood because Mackenzie danced.
- 39:18And I told her-- MELISSA GISONI: Yes, thank you.
- 39:19ABBY LEE MILLER: -- the next time either one of your kids go
- 39:21to the doctor, I'm going, because I think you're lying
- 39:23to me.
- 39:24I'm not.
- 39:25ABBY LEE MILLER: Well, that's just--
- 39:26I'm just saying.
- 39:29MOMS: Oh, hey!
- 39:39-- did she tell you not to listen to me?
- 39:42Go tell Abby.
- 39:43You tired?
- 39:44I see somebody yawning.
- 39:45MACKENZIE ZIEGLER: No, I'm not tired.
- 39:48I've been up since 6:05.
- 39:49KENDALL VERTES: Of course Asia's not tired.
- 39:50I'm never tired.
- 39:51ABBY LEE MILLER: She isn't.
- 39:53She's ready to go.
- 39:54There's nothing wrong with a little healthy competition.
- 39:57Yes, you should want to turn like Asia,
- 40:00and you should want to do your acro tricks like Mackenzie.
- 40:03That's the way it has to be, you know?
- 40:06She just got off being in a major competition show.
- 40:09And she lives in California, there's a million opportunities
- 40:12for her to do.
- 40:13So you need to learn from that, and take that.
- 40:15Yes?
- 40:16She's a very mature seven-year-old.
- 40:19All right girls, great part of the day, but it's over.
- 40:23It's another thing on your resume, excellent.
- 40:26But now, we need to concentrate on the competition
- 40:29this weekend.
- 40:31Let's get focused, get ready, review what you had yesterday
- 40:35so you're ready to go on.
- 40:36I told you before, I'm not going backwards.
- 40:38I'm not correcting things you learned yesterday.
- 40:41We need to move ahead.
- 40:49ABBY LEE MILLER (VOICEOVER): Next on Dance Moms.
- 40:50ABBY LEE MILLER: Do not embarrass me with Cathy.
- 40:52Do not embarrass me in New York.
- 40:54KRISTI RAY: Look at me when you talk to me.
- 40:55CHRISTI LUKASIAK: I'm looking you in the eye, bitch.
- 40:57Bitch? Let's go.
- 40:58Step out of my face.
- 40:59I have a kid--
- 40:59You want to see me in your face?
- 41:01He has anger issues and he better stay away from us.
- 41:03Kick you right in the [bleep] [bleep]..
- 41:05What the hell's wrong with you?
- 41:06Crazy.
- 41:07CATHY NESBITT-STEIN: And you know what?
- 41:08You're going to go down every week.
- 41:09ABBY LEE MILLER: You were ripping on Paige.
- 41:11You said she should give it up and go model.
- 41:12I heard it.
- 41:13KELLY HYLAND: You're not her dance teacher,
- 41:14so don't give her critique. (CRYING)
- 41:16You humiliated her in front of an entire [bleep] audience.
