  11. 0:34level of listening okay today we're
  12. 0:37going to talk about coffee for some of
  13. 0:39you this might be a really important
  14. 0:41topic that depends on how much you like
  15. 0:44this drink let me first talk about my
  16. 0:47relationship with coffee I'm not an
  17. 0:50everyday coffee drinker and I don't need
  18. 0:53coffee to feel awake or productive in
  19. 0:57fact sometimes caffeine can be hard for
  20. 1:00my body to handle if I drink too much of
  21. 1:03it I might feel anxious or just bad
  22. 1:06throughout the rest of the day so as you
  23. 1:09can see I don't need coffee in my life
  24. 1:12however on the other hand I really like
  25. 1:14warm beverages it doesn't matter if it's
  26. 1:17coffee tea hot chocolate apple cider or
  27. 1:21any other hot drink I've always loved
  28. 1:23these types of drinks so even though I
  29. 1:26don't need coffee I actually do like
  30. 1:28drinking it I often order coffee when I
  31. 1:31eat breakfast at restaurants and I even
  32. 1:34drink it at home sometimes but I know
  33. 1:37many people who are dependent on coffee
  34. 1:40and who couldn't imagine starting their
  35. 1:42day without it okay let's talk about the
  36. 1:45differences between coffee in different
  37. 1:47parts of the world in the US it's really
  38. 1:50common for people to drink a full cup of
  39. 1:53coffee they fill up their mug and add
  40. 1:56sweeteners like coffee creamer or sugar
  41. 1:59I remember that my parents always had
  42. 2:02different flavors of coffee creamer like
  43. 2:04vanilla or hazelnut and they would add a
  44. 2:07lot of this until their coffee was sweet
  45. 2:10and often times they would refill their
  46. 2:12mug and drink a second cup of coffee in
  47. 2:15the morning however I know that in many
  48. 2:18European countries this isn't normal in
  49. 2:21some of these countries it's more common
  50. 2:24to drink espresso shots these shots are
  51. 2:27really small compared to the coffee that
  52. 2:30many Americans drink they're usually
  53. 2:32more concentrated too so the flavor is
  54. 2:35much stronger honestly I've only had one
  55. 2:39or two espresso shots in my whole life
  56. 2:41so I don't have much experience with
  57. 2:44this I prefer drinking full cups of
  58. 2:47coffee because I like to savor the drink
  59. 2:50this means that I like to drink it
  60. 2:51slowly and enjoy it for a longer period
  61. 2:54of time how about you do you prefer
  62. 2:57drinking full cups of coffee or do you
  63. 2:59like small espresso shots okay let's
  64. 3:02talk a little bit about cafes in many
  65. 3:06countries cafes are for more than just
  66. 3:08coffee sure there are many people that
  67. 3:11just order their coffee to go but a lot
  68. 3:13of people spend time at coffee shops to
  69. 3:16work hang out with friends read or just
  70. 3:19relax a lot of cafes have good Wi-Fi
  71. 3:23nice music and comfortable seating
  72. 3:25personally I love working at cafes it's
  73. 3:28a nice change from working here at my
  74. 3:31house I feel a lot more inspired when
  75. 3:33I'm in a different environment and when
  76. 3:35I see other people around me where I
  77. 3:38live it's common for people to bring
  78. 3:40their laptop to the cafe and work while
  79. 3:43they're drinking their coffee and I
  80. 3:46think that coffee shops are also
  81. 3:47comfortable places to just relax and
  82. 3:50enjoy a nice drink okay that's all for
